Good customer experience on phone. The only thing I wish was that I was able to get the same color phone I had. I was not given that option. Also, it took 5 days from initial phone call to arrival of phone and the website read same day delivery. However, experience was good.

Once got online to accept claim delivery of replacement device fast. Was a bit of a delay in confirmation of return, but I imagine it’s busy and hard to find employees. Could initially confirm by delivery tracing. Replacement device working.

The phone is not working properly. It's not charging all time. I try different charger plugs. It will stop charging overnight. I did try the charger plugs that came with the replacement phone. It seem like it's a problem with phone plug in.

I couldn't get a hold of a live person. The recording said they were out of stock. They would let me know when they would have one. l got a phone in about 6 days. You say within 24 hours. I never received an e-mail that the phone was on its way until after l received it. I was inconvenienced.

Fast and courteous service for a broken phone screen. The tech came to my son's residence and fixed it there on scene. Very convenient. The tech was running late but was in constant communication with my son and gave him updates on his arrival time.

I finally got my daughter’s phone request done after about 3 - 4 days. It took a while for us to get the find my iPhone off. But once received had l issue with setting her phone up. But with my son's phone I had no issue or problems.

My phone was less than 2 weeks old when I broke the screen. I asked for a new screen for my 2 week old phone. All I got for an answer was that those were not the terms. It was very unsatisfactory to be told I would receive a refurbished screen for a 2 week old phone. I paid for the screen replacement myself.

Phone came quickly, but it wasn’t the same color. I filed a claim with and it’s refurbished. I don’t mind the color but I think the phones should be new. If you're paying monthly and have a deductible no reason why they can’t supply new phones. AppleCare maybe a better route next time.

It was very easy and efficient to file a claim, pay my tiny deductible and receive my replacement device with Asurion. They also made it very clear and easy to return my damaged device. I cannot think of one single they could do to make the process more user friendly, fair or beneficial.

I was assisted with the claim over the phone and the representative was extremely professional and polite. She explained all the steps and we walked through it together. My wife’s Apple 6 could no longer update and she was losing the ability to run apps she used on a frequent basis. She called Asurion, told them her problem and was quickly informed that an Apple 7 was on its way in exchange for the 6. Set up was easy and so was the return.

DON'T be fooled by the 4-5 star rating ANYWHERE! Especially on the Better Business Bureau's website - **. First, I don't believe for a second ANYONE uses the BBB website to leave 5 star reviews of a company, with very, very, very few RARE exceptions. On the other hand, to see a FLOOD of no doubt BOGUS 5 STAR ratings to COVER UP the mudslide of LEGITIMATE 1 STAR COMPLAINTS, that is believable. Especially if you have dealt or attempted to deal with this company before.
Second, how the flood of 5 star ratings, no doubt used to attempt to keep the company's head above water and a pathetic attempt to cover their butts for all the complaints, sporadically plummet to 1 star and a heck of a lot more detail in most cases. I've dealt with this "insurance" company once and I will *NEVER* do it again and I suggest you do the same. And if the BBB doesn't convince you, just Google them. I'm sure the Attorney General in every state has an ongoing list of complaints. It's cheaper to just buy a used or refurbished phone from a reputable company than to go through Asurion. Trust me.

I was very happy with how easily it was to report my phone damage and I have a new one shipped ASAP. I forgot that I had the insurance and this saved me a lot of money. I didn’t think that water damage was a covered Occurrence.

They were very fast, very helpful and very quick. Make sure that I would like. I will definitely refer them because in-service is this. I will make sure that people know that they are a good insurance agency and they getting to try to help you out and make sure that everything is good because if you don’t think it’s good I wouldn’t go through that. They make sure that you were taken care of and everything is quick and easy. I do not have so much to make sure that your phone is replacing whatever the bag was. I received a refurbished iPhone 10 for my iPhone. I wish you gave me the option to just upgrade my phone and put the $250 co-pay towards a brand new upgraded phone. Although the service was quick and easy. The insurance is good, that is a large co-pay for a refurbished phone only worth $250, so in that vein, it is not a great deal. In hindsight I could've got $250 for the phone as a trade in and received a brand new 12.

Our experience with the replacement and shipping process was very efficient. The staff was courteous, helpful and professional. The internet and filing my claim on-line was easy. I followed all the questions and completed the process in about fifteen minutes. I had the phone shipped to Verizon store in Las Vegas, Nevada and my daughter found the store and picked up the phone. If I had another choice for insurance I would use it because the level of service I received was subpar. And I spent over 12 hours on the phone trying to get my issue resolved to no Avail no Avail so therefore I would never recommend this company even if it was the last company on Earth.

It was easy to file a claim with Asurion, when my screen went blank on my cell. I was able to have a replacement phone, mailed to my home within 2 days. It was easy to swap the chips in the phones and have all of my apps, music, pictures, etc. without hassle!

I was devastated when my phone cracked and couldn't fathom being disconnected from communication too long. My phone came quickly and I wasn't charged much as expected due to declining deductible. I did get a bit frustrated when I thought I wouldn't be able to transfer my pictures and contacts. After all it involved accessing a part of the phone that was black and not working. I'm so glad the Samsung has the ability to touch and transfer.

The old phone's faceID would not work. I contacted ATT and they used the insurance to switch the phone out. Sent a new replacement phone out. Contacted support via chat to activate new phone. The chat support session was quick and efficient. My phone is activated and working great.

There were a couple appointment constraints that delayed the tech and car trouble. After, arrangements were made and we did receive the rep, the customer service with the representative that came out was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable. After we had the phone repaired we contacted Asurion that there was still a problem. They quickly responded, sent a replacement phone and since then everything is great. Was a pretty smooth process.

Had an issue with FedEx with my package being stolen and it took me a week to get my phone because they had to send me a second replacement phone but otherwise great experience. I used them when I had Verizon and now ATT. Both times I called had a good conversation with the people I spoke with.

One delay was no instruction to trade old chip into new phone caused several issues because passwords on apps had changed and did not have all the old passwords written down.

Unusual circumstance. I had my cell phone stolen night 2/30 in Peru so I NEEDED MY CELL for maps and photos and email and banking and... BIG PROBLEMS were that we could not buy a product there and start it with my phone number. I could have had my office activate then send via first class or FedEx or something but not ideal and costs about $200. Anyhow, just a odd time I got past with local prepaid phone.

Everything went well. I had to reprogram the phone as there was an initial problem. All ok now. The USPS also had difficulty with tracking the phone as I learned there is a special process for packages with batteries. You should check on this - it took 3 weeks get the other phone to you.

My son dropped his iPhone in the swimming pool right before we left town on a trip. His phone died and we had to get it replaced through Asurion. It took 3-4 days, multiple phone calls, multiple emails, and multiple attempts on their online system before we got a replacement iPhone. The whole process was painful and the whole thing about the Find My my iPhone and turning it off was the hardest and most ridiculous thing to do. The most ironic part was after we got the phone and had to deal with the Find My issue, the last person I talked to at Asurion was the Most Knowledgeable person to help. Why couldn't have I got that person to start with?

Process to file claim online was simple and quick. The questions asked allowed Asurion to determine if the phone could be repaired, but since the damage was too great, the phone was eligible for replacement. The replacement phone arrived the next day!

I appreciate getting a replacement phone as quickly as I did. It really sucks that my photos are gone and didn't transfer even though I've got my original sim card. That is incredibly disappointing since I pay for iCloud but yet, can't access my photos from my dog growing from a puppy. This phone is very advanced and does too many things that I'm not interested and don't know how to use. I'm thankful for having a replacement phone but this phone is hard to use. I can't even figure out how to setup voicemail. If I'd had choices for a replacement that would've been better.

So I was close to my five days of getting it shipped back. The deductible seems quite high and I wish the deductible was lower, especially when you are returning a device that will be refurbished and the company will just continue to make money. And the fact that my return device was still under manufactures warranty, it just got damaged back glass. It still functioned perfectly. Getting a replacement was fairly easy. The associate I spoke with was helpful and kind. The replacement was quick, set up was ok, took awhile but I have a lot of information on my phone. Sending back the damaged device was simple enough.

I first sent my phone in to have a crack in the screen repaired. Other than that, the phone worked perfectly. But because there was a safety lock that I didn't even know about, rather than calling me, they sent it back without repair and included instructions for me to call them, HAHA! After speaking with someone, I ended up paying the higher premium for a restored phone. Then, I had to setup my original/broken phone, because they had reset before sending it back. Also, I had to setup the new phone, when it arrived, and send the broken phone back to them. All of this could have been avoided with a single phone call.

The young man who came out to my home was A+. He texted that he was on his way, showed up on time and handled the repair within a half hour. I tried to tip him and he refused, so he obviously has integrity as well as skills. He was 5 Stars. My only reason for reducing the overall rating was that I was literally standing in a store in Olympia that was able to repair the phone on the spot and my call to the 800 number resulted in a "we don't have that store in our files" response. Losing access to phone service was difficult but losing access to contacts & other stored info was even worse. Because I was managing the medical needs of a family member at the time (my phone being main contact & holding names, addresses, dates, etc.), I was looking for immediate, local tech repair. The online claim & return process was clearly defined & easily followed. Receiving my new phone within a couple of days really helped alleviate my distress. Still, I had to have a tech physically replace the screen so that I could retrieve info not on iCloud & wipe my old phone before returning it. I was actually planning to drop coverage because I had never used it, then this so I am reconsidering. Thank you for so promptly being there during a difficult time in our lives!

I had a reserve flip phone and used that until Tuesday when my phone arrived at my house. I have several devices with Verizon Wireless (who utilizes Asurion for its Device Protection plan). In December 2020, a device on my account was lost. We attempted to track it for 2 days before actually reporting as lost to Asurion - though we did notify Verizon of its loss and what we were attempting to do. With no luck with locating the device, we officially notified the police (filed report), contacted Verizon Wireless and filed a claim with Asurion - completing all the required steps, we were provided with a claim number. Because of a previous incident from the past (about 3 years) I decided that I wanted to have this entire event documented and sent a letter to Asurion via Priority Mail the following day. The document was signed for by an employee. I did not receive a response.
I spoke with Verizon Wireless and was informed that they have no authority to intervene but the representative stated they would pass my concerns on to her supervisor. After about a month of silence from Asurion, I sent a letter to their legal department which was finally signed for by someone about 3 weeks after the U.S. Post Office made it's first attempt to deliver and obtain a signature for the letter. No response was received from their legal department. Because there was no device on my line with Verizon, that line was taken and I was assessed $300 by Verizon due to a promotion. It should be noted that it was done after more than 60 days from the date of loss.
Having not heard a word from Asurion about my claim, I filed a Consumer Arbitration Demand with AAA. AAA subsequently closes the matter for failure (of Asurion) to comply with AAA policies regarding consumer claims. In short, Asurion failed to respond to the arbitration demand. In May 2021, almost 6 months of total silence, I filed an action in State court against Asurion. A court date was established and they were served two (2) days after filing the action.
In June 2021, Asurion finally uttered its first acknowledgment that a claim had even been filed by email to me. Their Senior Writer requested that I contact her to discuss a resolution. After a number of back and forth email communications we could not reach an agreement regarding the verbiage of the settlement agreement and communications were terminated in July 2021. Their final email to me was "acknowledging receipt and have engaged our litigation team. We'll plan to appear for the hearing."
Now, Asurion had agreed to minor changes to the agreement (based on fact and proof) and they would have me believe that they were "allowing the identified edits in good faith and intent to resolve this matter with you, unfortunately all other terms contained in the settlement agreement are non-negotiable for Asurion." One of those clauses was that I could not discuss the terms of settlement with anyone! While I would have respected that, this site reminded me of the importance of consumers voicing their opinion, freely.
But more important, Asurion took the position that they could do what they wanted including ignoring their own agreements (that can change anytime they want) with consumers. I think their attitude from the past as I recall it was the reason I wanted this claim documented. I will not be silenced when I am paying my money for something I call "service" and they view as income until a claim is filed - then I become an "inconvenience" to them.
What was the outcome you ask? Court is tomorrow. Their request to appear via Zoom, citing "Asurion is not allowing employee travel except in extraordinary circumstances due to coronavirus" (and coupled with an Objection filed by me due to untimeliness) was denied by the Judge in this case. One point for me. What I will do is provide an update to this review following court. I will say this though - how would you feel if you had been ignored for more than 7.5 months? Sure, I could have probably have resolved it ONLINE is a shorter time period - but this is a company that has a long history of playing hard ball when it comes to dealing fairly with claims - we allow it. Collectively, our voices are stronger but I'll continue to march forward on my own when anyone takes my hard earned money for a product or service and refuses to live up to their own agreement. I'm not falling for the ole banana in the tailpipe routine. More later.

Purchased a laptop computer with insurance protection from Asurion. The screen cracked after 1 year and 9 months - well within the coverage of the plan. It took forever to try and reach Asurion on the phone. They kept on dropping calls,. I finally had to beg someone to call me back. When I finally got to speak to someone, he was very reasonable. They send you a shipping box in which to send the computer for repair. He promised to send the box the next day. Two weeks pass and no box. I call again, again have difficulty getting through. I'm told, "Oh yes, there was a slight delay." (No reason given for the delay.)."We'll send the box tomorrow." That was 5 weeks ago. I long ago bought a replacement.
Extended warranties and insurance plans are the most lucrative side of retailing. They typically charge 20% of the product's value to insure it. Most customers do not submit a claim - it usually seems to work out that your product breaks down just after the warranty or insurance period expires. In our case I thought we were lucky, having our laptop break after 1 year and 9 months. But we didn't reckon on dealing with this company. It appears that they never intended to honor their commitment.

I can't figure out how to give zero stars, or I would. I do not know for fact, but it's clear to me what your company and of all it's competent employees during the pandemic and, instead of hiring them back, hired new people In to save on labor. Over over 8 hours AT LEAST on the phone dealing with problems that mostly I didn't cause, miscommunication from your employees, and 2 hour hold times did. Every one of the 4 or 5 employees I talked to told me something completely different, or that they lacked the Information or training to perform what should be routine job tasks. Leaving me on hold extended periods of time while they ask another employer who also doesn't know, and it took me almost a week to get the order in, had to wait for the weekend too because I was not contacted by: byd in the 24 limit the third or fourth time. The second to last employee told me I would get a gift card for the troubles, but your finance last ssyd k change.

Middle of the road expected. Deductible for a replacement is way too high. To pay a fee each month then something happens and it's another $250 for a replacement is asinine. I have been with my provider for over 20 years and in all that time I've had 4 different devices, I keep them for a long time. Also in that 20 years I have only ever made one other claim. 20 years of monthly fees plus the deductible is highway robbery.

The process was pretty easy. I did have to call in and speak to an agent, but it wasn't painful. I was happy to get a discount for not having a lot of insurance claims. The phone arrived the next day as promised. The phone I received was a certified refurbished, but looked perfect.

Great Service, the claims process was quick and easy. It was determined that I would receive a replacement phone. My replacement phone arrived much sooner than I expected. My replacement phone came with instructions on how to transfer data from old phone to replacement. I was very happy with the service.

I called in my claim, rep was great and very helpful. I was even explained about other insurance coverage around my house which I found interesting, when I told her I needed Time to think about the added insurance, I was not pressured at all, thank you.

Phone stopped charging and would not turn on. Filled a claim and within 24 hours a new phone had been shipped to my home. Called in to have my service phone swapped and right over the phone it was done. Thank you!

The process for replacing the phone and getting it set back up was pretty seamless. We've had this insurance plan for a while now and have been pretty pleased with it. Without it I'd be out a lot more money to get these phones replaced. Thank you!

It was difficult to navigate through the website to the area I needed. After I got there everything was fine. Also I went to the Verizon store where I bought the phone and they were of no help. They gave me your phone number. I called and was told to go to the website.

Would have been better if Asurion service had shown me the other option I have which was to get phone (cracked screen) repaired for less than half what I paid to get a replacement. I forgot about that option so got replacement.

I was happy with the speed of processing the claim on my phone. I also was very glad to receive my replacement phone by the next day, however I was not pleased that I had only had my IPhone 12 Pro Max for 3 months and am having to still pay for that new phone but it was not replaced with a new phone it was replaced with a refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I'm not sure what to say, I asked them to overnight the phone because I couldn't be without it, it got here the next day. I was very pleased with that. It would have been nice, if somebody had told me about the PUC code. But AT&T's technical support helped me with that.

Good and quick response. Glad to get phone replacement sent out quickly. But I wish we had better shipping options. FedEx to Alaska is slow. Took 5-6 days to get here. USPS Express would be best. Remote places do not have direct FedEx service. Package has to ship out USPS ground from Fed Ex in Anchorage.

Easy to submit a claim. Replacement phone arrived quickly and without any issues. Setting up the new phone without assistance from the AT&T store was pretty easy. Hopefully I won’t need to file another claim in the future, but happy with how it went.

The service man came on time. He fixed phone quickly with no problems. This was an easy, fast way to have phone repaired. I would have Asurion fix all of our phones if and when they need to be repaired.

My wife’s phone broke during a vacation. Screen completely cracked and we couldn’t see anything. The team was able to deliver the new device to Maine and help us transfer/set up remotely. I really appreciate the support. The interface between online forms, robocall contacts, and some “human to human” calls worked to get the phone transferred with no data loss.

I lost my iPad while traveling. Having it covered through Asurion allowed me to replace it immediately instead of waiting to save enough money to purchase a new one. Thank you! The entire process was very quick and simple. I highly recommend this service to cover all of your electronics. I have several devices and each one is “on the go” every day. This coverage takes the worry out of replacement.

Specialist came to my house to fix my cracked screen. Told me he would take it to his car and be back in 25 min. On the nose, 25 min later he came back with my phone with a new screen! Extremely pleasant, efficient and very friendly young man!

Filing a claim was super easy and my replacement phone arrived in 2 days. Awesome and hassle-free. Customer rep was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue I had was with the website. It kept showing an old claim I filed. That's how I ended up calling customer support. I was immediately connected to one. Overall, an excellent experience!

My experience was good. The online instructions were pretty easy to follow and when I did reach a hiccup the online help was great! The person helping me was very helpful and walked me through what I needed to do. I was pretty much done, but I only needed one more step. They help me complete that last step and I was finished. Not hard at all.

Product not in stock, not good. It was back ordered until I entered payment info. System said I would get 48 hr updates. Went 10 days with no updates. Still back ordered. Had to get Verizon involved. Received bad battery in replacement. Got another replacement, sent first one back. 6 days after it was received they sent demand letter saying I was going to be charged since item not returned. Oh and everyone I spoke to was rude to me…

I took my Samsung 8 phone to uBreakiFix and the cracked screen and new battery were install in only 2 hours without having to ship my phone off and do without a phone for my business. I'm Very Happy with the service. And it only cost $29 and I didn't have to buy a new phone.

My daughter lost her phone. I reported it to Verizon, and was immediately contacted by Asurion about replacing it. I sent Asurion my form, and the replacement phone was shipped overnight. It was amazing and so appreciated. No lengthy process involved. I am totally satisfied with the quickness and nominal fee charged.

Phone was cracked and received a replacement the next day with instructions on how to copy data and return the device. Also included a prepaid box to return the old device. Process was simple and required very little effort on my part.
