This was a very smooth transaction. Paperwork was processed quickly and the phone was sent within 2 days of finalizing all paperwork. The process was all done online using their Web portal. Highly recommend using this service for cell phone insurance.

No complaints! Price of the service is a bit on the high side (for a 2 year contract SquareTrade clocks in at nearly half the price) but having the official carrier supported insurance adds convenience. I did have considerable difficulty navigating the website on mobile, but no issues on desktop.

I had trouble with phone calls. I was disconnected several times. After, I was connected with a supervisor and he instructed me on procedure on computer site, I received very fast service. Phone arrived next day. I was pleased with that part of the service.

My husband's phones screen cracked and wouldn't work. I contacted Asurion and they shipped me the new phone right away. Quick service. Just lost his pics and ringtones. Because for some reason the phone wouldn't save them on the new phone. But very happy with the customer service at Asurion. :)

My phone was completely broken and not fixable. After I made the claim Asurion sent out a brand new phone almost immediately. Great service! Much better outcome than I would have expected. Very glad I chose to buy the insurance offered through Verizon.

I lost my phone during the evening and didn't find it until the next morning. Unfortunately it was hiding under a plant and it rained a great deal during the night. I contacted Asurion, and received a new phone the next day. I was grateful to have it so fast because I am dependent on it to maintain contact with my four daughters, who live in various parts of the country. I was pleased to receive the same model, even though the phone was two years old. Thank you.

My daughter got her phone stolen right out of her back pocket while at a music festival. We filed a claim and got her new phone the next business day. The whole process was very easy and seamless! Would recommend all to have the insurance as it is worth it when things happen... as they always seem to.

Everything is great except the quality of devices, with the current one I have it has issues as well and it seems that I can't get a decent one. 2 so far and they are not good. Too many issues, they act up, freeze and volume is still very low.

Samsung S5 was broken and we requested a new phone which was received the next day. Got new phone, transferred information and returned old phone by the deadline. Whole process was good. Did not like such a big deductible, since we having been paying for insurance.

I am very dissatisfied with Asurion. My husband lost his phone, and we filed a claim. 3 days later the phone was returned, so Asurion told me to send them the phone back and they would credit my $200.00 back, then they said they didn't receive the phone back. We mailed back in the envelope they provided. And again my son damaged his phone. We filed a claim, sent the phone back right away and now they are claiming they haven't received it again and are threatening to charge me $500.00.

Filing my claim was easy and the website facilitated the claim process nicely. I received my replacement device in good condition within 36 hours and the necessary prepaid shipping materials included, making the return of my disabled device very easy. I tend to use my devices aggressively, so this service is well worth the monthly cost.

Assume from computer glitches causing me to have to re-enter my info several time (probably related to hurricane hitting Florida at the time) and not being happy with verizon Techs (who claimed there was water damage that never happened). Asurion quickly replaced my tablet quickly and with ease.

I dropped my phone on concrete during Hurricane Matthew while trying to get water out of our garage. Our local Verizon store was closed due to flooding so I filled out the online form through Asurion. I received my new device 2 business days later and very happy with it!

I started the claim process online and ran into a glitch that wouldn't allow finalizing the transaction - but I immediately called in to open a claim and the online claim transaction could be seen, so the very helpful and friendly woman completed it for me and gave me all the verbal directions I needed. I received my replacement phone the next day - exactly as stated - and activated the device immediately after charging it. The return envelope and label were included and simple to use. The deductible was well worth it - I dreaded the possible need to buy a whole new phone when I accidentally dropped and broke the one I had.

I had a good experience. I was able to go to my local Verizon, they connected me to you and 24 hours later I had my phone. I was able to put my old phone in envelope and mail it off without any incident.

Very speedy replacement of my phone that was stolen. Filed the claim on Saturday morning and received my new phone - same make and model - Sunday evening. I received the replacement phone 24 hours after I put in the claim. Verizon set it up for me. I will take Asurion insurance with every phone I purchase as I have lost one and two went swimming with me.

When we were shipped our replacement phone, the white plastic back did not stay snapped on properly. You need to replace the white plastic back to my Samsung s3 because it doesn't stay snapped closed. Please ship as soon as possible. Please, please, please.

I was disappointed in the quality of the headphones that were sent that were supposed to replace my damaged Apple headphones. Their sound is poor quality and it is difficult for people to hear me when I use them to talk on the phone. They feel like they are ready to fall apart. And the seam on the earpieces was hanged and I had to smooth that before I could use them. The charger cord does not work with my life proof case, but most cords don't work with my case. Otherwise a pleasant exchange.

Replacement of my daughter's phone was seamless and easy within 24 hrs. it had been lost/stolen. I suspended service for a month and then when it was not found I placed the claim. Less expensive than I thought it was going to be. Asurion: Great job!

My phone broke on Wednesday but I didn't get a new phone until the following Monday. I tried filling out the online document but was told multiple times that my phone issues didn't qualify me for a new one. Then when I finally did get everything to go through it had to print off some papers to verify my identity. This is hard to do when you don't have a printer of your own. Then once I got my replacement phone I had to go to the Verizon store to have them switch everything over because I wasn't able to do it myself.

We deleted our cloud account before we sent the phone back. Three times they contacted us saying otherwise and was going to charge us $500. They did give plenty of time to follow-up, which we did and they handled it. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE ASURION INSURE OUR FAMILY'S PHONES. THANK YOU.

I had read all sorts of really bad stories about asurion. I had a great deal of trouble contacting them online and through their website. But once I got a Verizon rep to get an asurion rep on the phone with me, I had a delightful experience. My LG V10 had fallen in water and was totally inoperable. Not only did Asurion replace the unit with the EXACT model, new not refurbished, but it was delivered the next day by express. The asurion rep, a NOLA native, was funny and graciously made it a good experience.

But, I didn't notice it initially that the flash glass in back was shattered and the performance of the phone seems like a refurbished phone and not a new one. I have photos of the break. I love the service. Lost my phone Friday night, made a report on Saturday, received the replacement Monday. Great service. The only thing I would like to change is the price. 149.00 is steep. 99.00 seems more in line for me. Just a suggestion. My phone was replaced quickly. I still think $100.00 charge on a $400.0 phone that is almost 2 years old is too high considering we pay insurance on two phones monthly. You should look over payment policy and base it on age of the phone too. Many times you can a newer phone cheaper than paying your service charge.

Here is my nightmare experience with Asurion. I bought the insurance through my AT&T monthly plan thinking I may need it someday. After two years, my iPhone got water damage so I began the process of attaining a replacement through Asurion/AT&T. The replacement deductible was $95 (not too happy about that) and they sent me a refurbished iPhone which developed internal problems after a few months. I called to complain and requested a second replacement. After numerous phone calls back and forth from AT&T to Asurion, I got absolutely nowhere. No one seemed to know whether AT&T warranty covered it or Asurion insurance claim department covered it. Every call seemed to end up in the warranty department and then tossed back to the Asurion help line and back again to the same waiting cue with an automatic hang-up at the end.
I must have went through this on five different occasions and spent about 10 hours of my life dealing with this nightmare. I even went to the local AT&T store to try and resolve things but they were absolutely no help at all. Finally, one day I got through to Asurion with a nice lady on the other end who apologized and assured me that this would be taken care of that same day. She walked me through the online process and as I took a sigh of relief, I came to find out that they were going to charge me $238 for the second replacement phone. Ugh!!! I just had to give up at that point and cut my loses.
I ended up going to a local mobile phone repair shop and got the refurbished iPhone running okay for $35. I then immediately cancelled this USELESS insurance on my phone and also my wife's phone as well. We will never ever use Asurion again and AT&T should be ashamed to have partnered up with this horrible company. Next time I will get the insurance on my own through Square Trade or something.

I had my LG X Pad 8.0 tablet stolen. I filed a claim and when I was quoted the deductible for the tablet it was twice the public published deductible for my item and tier. I called customer service and was told I had the wrong information. I told the young lady it was information I had received from Asurion/AT&T and had also located on their website today 11/7/16. The claim deductible they were citing me was 150.00. The document I had listed my tablet at 75.00. I asked the young lady to email me the documentation she was quoting me from. She said she was unable to do that.
I pressed on and was finally transferred to a manager who apologized and blamed their error on a glitch on their system or an error in publication (with a date of Oct 1, 2016 and they just realized their list is wrong!). She agreed to charge me the deductible of $75.00 but I wondered how many people may have paid more than the published deductible because they do not read their documentation. Asurion and AT&T need to be more transparent and need to resolve this issue immediately. I had to argue with three reps to get them to see the error of their ways. If you pay your premiums they have to give you what they promise. Check your deductible prior to accepting at face value any quote from AT&T and Asurion as they are only out there to make a fast buck.

I have asked for a phone replacement back in September. I received the phone replacement broken. I called Asurion and they didn't have another phone to send to me. I asked if I could reverse the request. I was told that I could and they gave me instructions on how to proceed. I found out this afternoon that the replacement fee is not refundable! Asurion assumed the mistake. They understand that the mistake was on their end and still they refuse to refund the fee. They insist on sending me another phone. I have upgraded my phone. I don't want another phone. Just want my money back as I was told. I'm not interested in have this review published. I just want to find out how I can contact the people who has the authority to do the refund? It's not fair to pay for Asurion's mistake. Thank you.

I was a bit upset we couldn't replace my daughter's screen on her Motorola MotoX bamboo, but very glad we could get her a new phone. We had great service at the Pascagoula Verizon store where they tried everything they could to get the screen replaced, but we ended up having to replace the entire phone. Thank you.

I pay you $140 plus the cost of the insurance and I am dropped after using it. Doesn't seem right. Just seems like greed. I buy insurance just in case. In this hectic world things happen. Insurance companies are getting larger and larger. I realize that some people cheat the system but most don't. For us that are honest, this seems like we are being screwed. Your service is excellent and your staff amazing. It is your policy with which I do not agree. Yes my wife is a clutz. I still love her and her phone is being velcroed to her hand from now on.

My grandson broke his phone. Luckily I had it insured with Asurion. I contacted Asurion by phone. Asurion began the replacement process. I was notified by email about additional questions that needed to be answered, documents that were required and my deductible which was more than I wanted to spend, but so much lower than the price of a new phone. The entire process took less than an hour and I received a replacement phone, charger and SIM card the next day with activation instructions for the new phone and packaging instructions to return the damaged phone. The service was prompt and easy and their customer service was awesome. Great company!! Thank you Asurion!!

I have an insurance policy with Asurion to cover damages and replacement of my phones. On October 7, 2016; one of the phone fell and the shattered. I contacted Asurion on their web page site and reported the incident. The company honored their coverage, offered a replacement of my broken phone with another phone (same type and capabilities). They forwarded the phone to me in express delivery arriving the next day. They provided written direction on how to manage the termination of use of the broken phone and the activation of the replacement phone. They also provided a prepaid packaging and instruction to return the damaged phone. Asurion response to my claim was very responsive, very prompt, and very satisfactory to me. I will continue my coverage with this company, and recommend them.

I have had the coverage for several years and recently had to submit 2 claims. On 1 of my claims I received a refurbished phone with a marginal battery. My daughter's phone would turn off every time it was not on a charger. After spending 80 dollars to replace battery have not had issue since.

It was easier than I thought it would be. Put my claim in online and it said to expect delivery of new phone by 3pm the next day and I received it by 11am. It has been working fine. Plus, they give you a 1yr warranty on the operating system and for the internal part of the phone since it's a refurbished phone. I'm very pleased with it and happy that I had insurance with Asurion.

Everything went smooth and a tech support was able to help me file my claim. The only thing I did not like was that I got a refurbished phone. I spend too much each month for insurance to have to spend $200 on top of that for a refurbished phone that takes a couple seconds to load any app. Not a big deal but I can tell this phone will not last very long being refurbished and freezes already with the simplest tasks. My original phone never froze like this one does. Customer service was great and respectful.

Get the phones very quick but they never work good. Got two new iPhone and there was something wrong with both of them. Also had to get galaxy s6 and they gave us one with a bad battery so it last about an hour at the longest. They are great with sending a new one when you call but you should have to call and get a new phone every time they send you one.

I'm through on my phone; that's just the nature of my job. Although I try to keep it safe with a nice case and screen protector, accidents happen. Fortunately, I've use Asurion for the last three years, which covered my last two phone models. During this time I've broken them twice during my work hours and once during my personal life, and every time Asurion has replaced them within a few days! All I had to do was call them up to give some information. From there you will receive an email to print, sign, and email it back to them and pay the small fee ($100 for my previous model and $150 for my current model) then BAM! New phone in my mail within 48 hours! I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for saving me from some nasty phone-withdrawal-headaches Asurion. Breaking your phone is the worst, but having you there to back me up is a lifesaver.

Was fine. Didn't get the exact model of phone that I had (out of stock) but could be due to age of the phone model. In all, the process was good. One negative, not related to Asurion, was that Apple released a software update between my last backup and when I received the phone (span of about 4 days). Since the phone's version of iOS ALSO had to be updated, my backup was worthless. Luckily, not a major blow.

I am still making payments on a NEW phone even though it has been replaced. I was not given an option between a new or refurbished phone. Service was fast and fine, EXCEPT... your shipping method. Your shipper would not return after the first and only delivery, for which I was not home. I was told it was left at their pickup center -- 18 miles away. I told them to redeliver it. After three days and three phone calls, I had to pick it up myself at night and was five days without a phone. Change your shipper!

It was glitching a lot and sometimes the phone would freeze for moments at a time. But during all of the issues, my new iPhone 7 plus came in.

First thing first. I want to see this "negative" comment posted at the top of the reviews for this fraudulent business, and not just the positive ones. (We shall see.) I bought an iPhone 6 from a Verizon store about a year and a half ago. Something was faulty and I had to go through insurance to get a "new" one. Well, they're never new, they are ALWAYS refurbished. Yesterday, I was sitting at my desk, about eight months after I received it, and noticed the bottom right side of my phone started separating from the bottom, allowing me to see the insides of my iPhone. I immediately called Verizon, who gave me the option to; 1. Buy a new phone. 2. Go through Asurion and get refurbished phone. 3. Try and take it to the Apple store due to a possible safety issue. I chose to take it to Apple to see what they had to say.
When I met with the wonderful person from Apple, I briefed him on what was going on, and said I thought that it may be a swollen battery. He took my phone in the back and came out about 5 mins later. He said he has seen this same situation time and time again with ASURION about them giving out faulty or fake iPhones. I was shocked! He explained to my fiance and I, that Asurion is not the best insurance to go through due to several complaints a day they get. A DAY! He mentioned, the worse case was an elderly lady who came in stating that she needed assistance with her iPhone because she couldn't get it to work. He said, he took off the case and immediately noticed that the back was plastic, not metal, and was PAINTED gold to resemble a real iPhone!!
What? How can this company get away with this? Something needs to be done. This company needs to be stopped immediately! I'm sure it's somewhere in the small print that nobody read through, and you sign away thinking they're legit. They're NOT! My phone on the other hand was compared in-front of us with a genuine Apple iPhone, and it was painfully clear I had been scammed. There were about five differences just on the outside that did not compare to the genuine Apple iPhone. Also, it wasn't a swollen battery. He gently lifted my phone up and shook it. Several small metal pieces came flying out from the inside, and there were strange purple marks all around the inside rim, which he said should not be there.
This phone could've blown up, or seriously injured myself or someone else! What is wrong with you Asurion??? To make a long story short, if you're interested in an Apple product, go to the Apple store, purchase it through them, choose the service you want (they have the same prices) and purchase Apple Care. Period.

I believe in protecting my belongings so I've had Asurion insurance for a long time. I pay a fee every month so I thought in exchange for a new phone I would put in a claim and that would be it. My dog knocked my tablet off and cracked the screen to the point it would not function. It was also a tablet that was no longer manufactured by the maker. Everything was really fast and easy, except for the instructions. It wasn't clear if I needed to swap the SIMs and had to go to the Verizon store to clear it up. Once that was taken care of it was easy to do the rest.

Replacement of iphone 6s - I could not have been more pleased with Asurion's ease of use and expedient handling of my claim. Their premium is worth its weight in gold and I would recommend them to anyone. I never expected to receive a replacement phone as quickly as we did, or that the return process for the damaged phone would be so uncomplicated. Dealing with Asurion was the most pleasant part of my daughter's careless regard for yet another phone!

They did what they said when they said. First reconditioned phone was a dud but second was fine. Amazing how fast the phone could be replaced. I would recommend having the insurance for anyone that owns a smartphone. Staff on the phones were excellent.

I completed my claim via online. The online process was easy. The options and selections made the process smooth. It took me less than 5 minutes to complete my claim online. I also received my replacement quickly too. The return process for my damaged phone was easy to follow as well. I would definitely recommend the online process!

I lost my phone. It is insured by this company, and they did respond very quickly and efficiently. The first day I filed the claim, the second day I received my replacement phone. So that's really amazing. I will keep on using this company for all my phone insurance issues. It's a nice experience with them.

The replacement process was very smooth, and extremely easy. I did experience a bump in the process. (Having to send back the 1st replacement phone due to battery issues.) However, the 2nd replacement phone was sent quickly and it worked overall. I am quite satisfied with it.

I had to wait 12 days for a phone because I didn't have $199.00. I realize that Verizon and your company are separate but there should be a system that if the victim of theft has a good record of payment it could be billed to that person's Verizon/AT&T/etc. account.

After contacting Asurion, they sent out a new phone overnight to replace a malfunctioning phone. Their instructions on recovering my contacts and pictures was very easy to follow! In addition, they provided a return package for my old phone and was paid in advance.

I had the best experience with Sprint and Asurion this week. I have had the insurance for several months since my husband got his new phone, and his phone was damaged beyond repair in hurricane Matthew recently. Asurion sent us a replacement within 24 hours, and the deductible was very reasonable. I am pleased and happy that we had the insurance with them. Thanks!

I mailed my old equipment in the box provided to my phone carrier. Within a few days Asurion responded by email indicating my equipment had been received. I had a great experience with Asurion recently when I had my phone stolen. I notified them within 24 hours of losing my phone and I had the phone 24 hours later - a perfectly new iPhone. Definitely recommend their services, as this saved me a nuisance trip back to Verizon or the Apple Store and several hundred dollars for a replacement.

Timely replacement phone sent in short amount of time. Customer Service Representative was helpful and friendly when questions came up about replacing the phone and what we are entitled to with having this insurance. Only problem was filling out form online. This was cleared up relatively fast with the help of your customer service representative.

Extremely fast delivery. Replacement phone was new and not refurbished. The premium also isn't terrible and the deductible is not bad either when considering the cost of modern phones. Definitely a lifesaver to have this service when your phone gets destroyed.

I've utilized Asurion several times over the years and have only had good experiences with them. Replacement phones are delivered the next day and generally in great condition. I personally have only replaced one phone years ago, but have a son who has needed to use the insurance many times. It's been well worth the premiums... at least for my family.

Do not purchase cell phone insurance from this company. They claim to insure your phone and will replace it. Well, if they happen to have one in stock that is. Otherwise be prepared to go without a phone for days. They may get you a replacement but only when they are good and ready. Supposedly they work with Verizon. That's a joke. Verizon has the phone in the retail store but Asurion can't figure out a way for me to get one from Verizon to replace mine. It's very simple, allow me to pick one up from my local store and then send them the replacement.

I lost or had phone stolen and was replaced quickly as you said it would be. At the beginning I had trouble but because I'm not good on computers and had troubles sending, not you fault mine. When I did what had to be done it was much smoother and quick.
