This is the second time I've had to use Asurion and both times the claim was easy to report and the phone was replaced the next day as promised. With our phones being our main communication source, GPS, phone book and camera it's great to know you have this kind of protection.

I lost a cell phone insured by Asurion. I submitted an online claim at 2:30 pm and by 10:30 the following morning, my replacement phone had been delivered... less than 24 hours after claim submission! And - because my phone model was no longer available - Asurion provided me with a newer model... brand new, not refurbished. I couldn't be more pleased with this company and its service.

I have had to replace a couple of my phones over the years, and I am so glad I had Asurion phone insurance! The new phone usually arrives the next day, unless you file your claim in the evening. I think the deductible is a bit high, but it beats paying full price for a brand new phone.

My phone was stolen while we were in Paris, France. As soon as we got back we called Asurion and got a replacement phone. It was an easy process and it didn't take very long. They were very helpful. It was really easy and I got my new phone the very next day.

Had AT&T Samsung Galaxy phone - the screen went black however you would still receive notifications of texts. Had Asurion insurance replace the phone for 90.00 dollars in two days. Exactly 5 months after received it, the same thing happened with these phones. I called again, woman said it was under warranty and to send back. Got new phone. Few days later the old phone was returned saying that the screen was cracked and had a red sticker arrow pointing to the crack.
Well even putting the old phone under the light I could not see a crack. I was on the phone from 530 pm till 830 pm and got nowhere. Now they are charging me 460.00 because the old phone was cracked which it wasn't. This is a horrible way to treat customers that have been with AT&T for over 20 years, formerly Cingular one. I would like to know who else I could complain to about this. Very upset and they won't break the payments up. If I don't pay they will cut off service. I have three lines on this account. Need help on this matter. Thanking you in advance.

The last few claims I submitted I had no issues or problems. I received the replacement phone the next day without any delays. Great customer service and user friendly to submit a claim online. Everything is really self explanatory and if you have any questions, you can call customer service.

This was my second experience with Asurion and I have to say that both experiences were taken care quickly and easily. Unfortunately the insurance was canceled because they said there were 2 claims made within 1 year. I believe it was only 1 or 2 days to the year.

Very fast, easy and prompt service. From beginning policy to making the claim and receiving the phone... No muss no fuss service. Very appreciated. Price of policy is reasonable, but was caught off guard with the amount to pay to process the claim. Nevertheless, very happy.

Was in my front pocket while cleaning and closing pool. Totally ruin beyond repair. Pleasant in-store service. Unbelievable next day replacement, immediately went back to store to help set and restore my data on my phone. Again, great service with an pleasing attitude. I have had more mistakes happen to my phone than I can count. And Asurion has been very excellent with getting my replacement in a timely manner. The representatives are very polite and always professional. If you use the online service it is an easy transaction with the same impeccable results. Asurion is the best reliable company!

I dropped my phone and shattered the screen on my phone. Filling out the insurance claim was quick and easy. My new phone arrived in less than 24 hours. The steps to return my damaged phone were clear and simple. I dropped it in the mailbox with prepaid packaging slip the next day.

Needed to have the screen replaced, but because it was new, local shops didn't have the replacement parts, so I had to pay a $150 deductible which makes it seem like you're paying for the full cost (and then some) of the repair. Insurance is best served if you lose your phone, not having it repaired.

I had a problem with 2 phones. Moto Z Force and a Galaxy S 7 edge. The Motorola Z was taken care of with no problem but the Galaxy S 7 edge is going to cost me $199 to get fixed and I've only had the phone for 6 months.

Quick review of experience with Asurion. Fast turnaround on replacement phone, smooth transaction... Filed everything online and immediate approval... Device delivered as stated... Easy instructions to get phone up and running with new SIM card. Would recommend to a friend but don't recommend losing your phone if possible. Lol.

The belt case that was sent with the new phone was the wrong size. It was too big for the phone. Other than that everything was fine. I was sent an iPhone 6 but the belt case was for an iPhone 6 Plus. We found someone that could use the belt case but wish we could have gotten the right one.

Customer service representatives were fast and courteous. All details relating to my replacement device were given to me through the website and were very easy to complete using the directions written in the paperwork. I have issues with another device and am hoping to get some help before the coverage expires on said device. I'll be calling soon to try and get the issues with this device repaired.

It took 3 phones to get a phone that worked. First phone kept freezing/locking up. Verizon had a hard time transferring data from 1 to 2 and replacement phone due to these issues. Also first replacement did not respond so I lost my voicemails not sure what happened. 2 replacement phone did not work. Volume issue. 3 phone was great. Lot of inconvenience. Service to get phones to me was excellent. Quality control needs improvement. In the end it did work out.

There were on top of it. Although they didn't have my phone they were able to find one in different color and got it to me right away. The process was orderly and efficient. I very happy with my experience and I would recommend them to friend and family.

My husband dropped and broke the screen on his phone. I called Asurion, filed a claim and within 24-36 hours my husband received a new phone in the mail. The person I spoke to was very respectful, and done a great job at getting my husband a new phone as he is Constable in the Parish we live in and needs his phone to work 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Great replacement process. No hassle and quick response. New phone can be used on any new line! Online claim website was easy to use! Verizon offers this service in various forms. I just use the basic service but I have the more expensive service on some phones and can't downgrade to the basic service.

I was very happy when my phone arrived so quickly. I took it to Verizon for help in transferring the date, but the guy who waited on me apparently didn't want to take the time to do that in the Muskegon, Mi. store. I am not by any means a techy and know all about this phone and I was told when I first reported it, to bring the new phone in and they would transfer my information. So I wasted several days trying to figure it out with the pamphlet and was able to transfer successfully, as far as I know. I think Verizon needs to provide better customer service. My feeling about them, is once they've made the sale, get out of there and ask no more of them. This is information you may or may not want to know. I am not a young kid, in fact I am 72, and have a problem with rude sales people. As far as your service, it was perfect. I will continue to carry the insurance, just in case.

Phone was back ordered for several weeks. Seems like a long time to be without a phone. I am not sure if this phone is a popular model or if the issues with Samsung's other model issues contributed to the delay. However, it was very frustrating nonetheless.

When I dropped my phone and made an insurance claim, I received a defective replacement phone. I called, the technician tried many things to get the phone to work. When was unsuccessful, apologies were given. In less than 24 it was replaced. Excellent service.

I was on vacation and my phone fell off the top of my car. I was devastated but was able to connect with a representative very quickly. The agent was able to help me out with the situation and I was able to order my replacement phone on that call. The service was amazing and I received my replacement two days after that phone call. Great service and follow through even though my iPhone was on backorder. It came to me earlier than I had expected. The process was fast, easy, and convenient, and that is very important to me because I work around 60 hours a week. I got the new unit transferred my information and restored my service in less than an hour.

The process of filing a claim, receiving a replacement, and returning the damaged phone was flawless! The only area where there may be opportunity for improvement is the electronic filing system. There was not an adequate response to check and when trying to work around it, the system continually kicked me out. I ended up having to file the claim via telephone. Other than that, it is a great service and I would recommend the insurance coverage to friends.

The process was simple from start to finish. 10 min phone call to Verizon/Asurion and the replacement device was in my hands the next day at work. Highly recommended. $200 to replace an $800+ device is a great deal in my book!

I had a phone that was lost earlier this year and I was unable to replace it at the time of the loss due to lack of funds. I was able to save up the money for the deductible a few months past the cut off time for replacement. I spoke with customer service and explained why I had not filed a claim and replaced the device early. They evaluated my case and assisted me with replacing the device. I received the new, upgraded device within two business days of filing the claim!

I lost my phone while traveling in Colombia South America. I filed a claim and a replacement phone was waiting for me when I returned from my trip. The phone was the same model that I lost. The claim process was fairly easy. I did have to call in as I had a little trouble with the online process. But over all it was a good experience. Glad I had the insurance. Thank you.

I couldn't get my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge replacement because it was on back order because of the Note 7 catastrophic event, so I got the iPhone 6S Plus as a replacement which I like the iPhone but I would have rathered a 7 plus which I would consider a equal value exchange.

I first off want to thank Asurion, the service once filed was quick and I appreciate the help they had given with getting me a replacement phone quick. The only issue I have is the phone I received does not have a very good battery life compared to the one I had to return, but still better than the lifeless phone I had to return.

I would say overall my experience was pretty impressive. I had to get 2 replacement phones because the first replacement phone was not working quite appropriately, but at the end of the day when I needed a new phone, Asurion was very apologetic and sent a new phone out almost immediately. It was a small mishap, but they made it work!

I have my whole phone plan covered under the Asurion insurance. While I am not a huge advocate of insurance, I do believe there is a need, which in my recent case there was a need. My phone was lost/stolen. I went online and after about 5 min. had filed out the report and they had a replacement phone for me within 48 hours. This cost me considerably less than if I would have had to purchase a new phone as I had just renewed my contract and my phone wasn't over 6 mo. old.

Used online form which was quick and easy to pick replacement device. Customer service calls are simple and straightforward to answer any questions and process credit card information. The replacement device was shipped immediately and received the next day with all paperwork and return envelope to ship the damaged device back. Just drop off at the post office within 10 days and you're done.

The ability to file the claim online is great and the turnaround time for approval is fairly short. Replacement was delivered quickly and, because they are no longer replacing Galaxy S6's, I received a Samsung Galaxy S7, which suited me better.

We have used Asurion for years, have made probably 8 to 10 claims, (I have 3 sons). Replacement phones always arrive the next day even when making the claim at 9 pm the night before! Replacement phones have always looked perfect and performed with one exception. (It was just a bad phone all around back then.) No fault to Asurion.

Three out of four times Asurion was great. If you have to use them for the first time, you get a replacement phone (or newer model) the next day. Very satisfactory experience. However, if you are using them for a second time within the same year, it is a terrible experience. It has to go through some review board and then you don't get a replacement phone for at least 48 hours later. Online system to pay the deductible does not work using a PC, but does work using your phone on the mobile site.

I wish I could remember the name of the young lady who had amazing customer service skills, she should be a supervisor and train others to her level. Hopefully you can look it up and find her. You did very well hiring her. She was extremely patient as she did her best to resolve an issue with my son's phone, but ultimately determined it needed to be replaced. He also walked me through the process of replacing my daughter's phone, which she had dropped and it stopped working. I would hire that person without question. It's so hard to find someone with her skills. It made me feel completely confident in my decision to choose Verizon and no reason to look somewhere else. There's an old saying "Once you've found the best, you can forget the rest!" Sorry T-Mobile, Sprint, etc., you can't compete!!! I lost my phone in St. Croix last week. I made my claim to Asurion which had to be reviewed before approval. I received the phone on Saturday but was unable to activate the phone so I figured I'd wait to Sunday morning and just call Verizon. On Sunday I called Verizon to activate my phone, the representative told me he was confused because the serial # I gave was a phone reported as stolen and he didn't understand why or how Asurion would send it to me. He then called Asurion to explain what happened before leaving me to speak with the Asurion rep. Although she was helpful my second replacement phone won't even arrive until tomorrow so I am phoneless although I already paid my 199 dollar deductible. I hope the phone they send tomorrow works! And for my troubles, I won't get a NEW phone I will still receive a refurbished phone with non-Apple headphones and a clip as an apology gift.

The man that I spoke with was very helpful and quickly sent out a replacement phone which arrived very promptly. He even went so far as to try to replace the defective S6 with an S7, but when he found out that there were no more in stock, he went ahead and sent out the S6 with several accessories including a leather case and a car charger!

My Rep. walked me through the iCloud and reassured me that even though I'd gotten a notification that the "find my phone" app wasn't turned off yet (on the returned phone)... that it definitely was. I'm still a little concerned, because I got another notification that it wasn't turned off, after this call with Asurion. The Rep. told me sometimes notifications are sent out automatically. I broke my new phone Galaxy S7 closed it in my car door. I paid my deductible and got a new phone in the mail that didn't hold a charge. Got so hot it cracked! I called and requested to get a new one sent. They didn't have it in stock so I waited a month to get my replacement and when I got it the back was smashed and after 3 weeks the screen stopped working!!! Here I am 3 months a new phone every month!!! Why my first brand new phone worked great but every replacement insurance phone I have gotten has been damaged or has had failure. So they wouldn't accept my claim because there were no messages or calls made. Of course the thief wasn't going to make calls. I have never dealt with such under trained people in my entire life. These people had me wait almost a month to get my washer fixed because they lack training. I kept getting the run around and kept getting hung up on and lied to and no one seemed to care from the floor associates to the managers and supervisors, Rebecca, Casey, Donna ** (Home Depot) Advisor Lloyd (Home Depot) advisor Alisha, Alissa, Samantha and the list goes on. I will never buy anything else from any company that uses this company. I do not care how big this company is.
I am more than a number and I expect to be treated with respect. Today 11/11 my washer and dryer finally got fixed and the sad part about it is they sent 3 different companies to my house but kept telling me that they were closing each case. I was suppose to go out of town for veterans day and guess what because of Asurion I lost more money that could not get refunded back for a trip. Had to throw away 2 loads of my children's clothes because they had been locked inside of my washer since October 26 and it is already the holidays and I have to replace more clothes. Never again in my life.

The system worked flawlessly to restore me to phone service in a very short time. I usually don't buy protection for devices, since we live in a "throw away world," but in this case I am glad that I did. It was so flawless.

It took only a few minutes on the phone and within a few days the New replacement phone came. It looked great and as new and with their set-up sheet it only took a few minutes to get it working. I would recommend this company to everybody I know and it also saves money. Great doing business with them.

Spent $200.00 for insurance. Needed phone replaced, deductible $150.00. Well, first replacement, refurbished... does not hold a charge. Sent back... now, the phone I have, they do not have in stock! Tell me they will replace with a Sony, I receive a Motorola Moto. WHAT? I call, no explanation, oooops, just send it back, they will send me a NEW Samsung S7. (I asked the MANAGER several times, is this new? "YES", it is NEW). I just received the Samsung, "REFURBISHED, Samsung S6". I decided, I better keep this, things could be worse.
WRONG, now this phone has a poor battery and I will call tonight when I get home, so I can return this one. This is such a major inconvenience. Each time I call, 45 minutes on the phone. For the $350.00 I gave Asurion, I could have put it towards a NEW phone. You know, like the NEW one I originally purchased. I am so sorry I bought this insurance. I did not realize that I could choose a different insurance company. Lesson learned, I will now research phone insurance companies. I will let you know how the phone call tonight goes... more to follow.

After having the insurance for years and the payment I made to get the new phone... I could have just bought one. However! I am terrible at saving money for that sort of thing and the service was great. I paid at 2pm and the phone was on a truck on its way to my house by 7am the next morning. I am the last stop for UPS so it was just a bit over 24 hours from the time I requested the new phone to having one in my hand. It was in great condition. No complaints on it so far.

Fast, efficient one day delivery. The only problem was an inability to complete the claim on-line. However, the telephone representative I talked to was very pleasant and efficient. I especially liked getting updates as to the status of the claim and delivery.

The service and process was fast, quick and painless. My phone was not in stock originally but I received constant phone and email alerts on the availability status. Once the phone was available, I received a call and email with a process to complete my order. Nice when you get what you pay for...

My experience with Asurion was generally a positive one. Their customer service was good and they processed my claim quickly. In addition, their website worked well and made the processing of the claim that much easier. I only have a couple of complaints. Asurion will not provide brand new replacement phones only, relying on some stock of refurbished devices that may or may not be sent to a claimant. I have a problem with this because the damaged phone may be brand new, and with a $200 deductible as well as an ongoing monthly payment to the wireless service provider under the guise of a protection plan. My feeling is that if you file a claim you should get a new device.
My second complaint is a minor one but goes to the issue of good communications. Although Asurion provided me with a number of emails related to the process of the claim and delivery of the replacement phone, they didn't take the next logical step in sending me an email that indicated that they had received the all-important damaged phone and that the claim was closed. Despite these couple of issues, I would happily use the service again.

Thanks for your speedy respond to my emergency need. I appreciate the time in which I received my replacement phone. I think the deductible is much too high and that the insurance is not really worth having. So I guess my respond in a plus and a minus.

I used the phone insurance for my wife's phone and everything went smoothly. I received the new phone in a timely manner. I was satisfied with the service. My only issue was a copay... I don't recall having a copay in the past. But other than that... Thank you.

Great people to work with - courteous and friendly. The online was very easy and fast to make the claim. The replacement phone came the next day as they said it would. The replacement is like new. Thank You. The monthly payment is well worth the price.

Received item in great condition. Was able to get it up and online with some help from Verizon wireless. Phone is working great. However, I did lose all my pictures in the transference, don't know where they've gone. They don't seem to be in the "cloud".

The manager I asked to speak with was able to make an exception to the fact I was past the cutoff time for filing a claim (due to personal family issues). It was the right reason to make an exception, and my phone arrived the next day. Had they refused to honor my claim, I would have dropped my coverage with Asurion. So I was happy with how this was resolved.

I lost my mobile, filled a claim and submitted all the required documents. After submitting the documents I received an email saying that the Asurion will contact me back in 24 business hrs. I waited for 4 days and called them back as I didn't receive any update from them. They said they will contact me in next 24 hrs. After that I waited for another 4 days and still I didn't receive any updated. Later today I.e. on Nov 10th I called the customer service and they said their working hours are been closed and asked me call them back tomorrow. Really I am fed up with their service.

The representative was respectful, knowledgeable of service options. Although there was a deductible, I was still satisfied with the service provided and received the new phone in a timely manner as the representative said. We got a new phone to replace the damaged one.

Overall your company gets a 5 star rating with me. The process to file a claim to getting replacement was less than 24 hrs. The insurance cost is fair on all levels. I was just amazed at how quick the approval to shipment was. Other companies need to watch how your company does business to be successful.

Very fast friendly service. 2nd time I had to replace the phone but they are so easy to work with! My son is very hard on cell phones and I knew he'd eventually break it. Very glad I purchased the insurance. Saved me a lot of money! Hopefully he doesn't break it a third time. Highly recommend!!!
