Lost the phone over the side of a boat on vacation on 11/20. Asurion sent the claim form as a non-fillable pdf, so I had to find a printer to print and fill out the form. The claim was submitted on 11/22 and within about 20 minutes there were a flurry of emails confirming receipt of my claim, advising how to check on the status and telling me to call an 888 number. "Sorry we can't read your documents" [good reason to offer a fillable pdf form, eh?]. When I called, the rep told me there was no problem with the claim form, except they didn't have a replacement and, no, I couldn't go to a Verizon store and get one [nor, apparently, could Asurion].
I still have no phone and no information on when I might get one or whether it will be new or an inherited problem that has been "reconditioned". Considering the ongoing inconvenience and the substantial "deductible" of between $150 - 195, it would have made more sense for me to go buy a new phone for the $450-500 difference. So I'm cancelling the $11/mo. Verizon "protection" plan, though I have learned that USAA offers what looks to be a better plan at a lower price and may consider that.

The trip was canceled due to booking the wrong flight. Requested the money back and it required documentation. I emailed a couple of times to ask what documentation is needed. Never heard back. Terrible customer service. They kept emailing me and I kept emailing back requesting what kind of documentation do I need to send. Never got a response.

We always carry insurance on our phones and the efficient and courteous service we received was so worth it! I would never have a phone without the insurance. I also was much more satisfied with the customer service received from Asurion than from the cell phone company itself.

Asurion took very good care of my claim. Hassle free and fast! Thank you very much, shipping was quick. They honored my insurance, while the guy at Verizon refused to go over my insurance with me, the techs at Verizon did and I was able to get back on my feet with a phone again. Thanks Asurion!

I am waiting to receive the return envelope so I can return it. I my dog chewed up the first one and this is my second. They were very helpful. The only thing I found surprising was the deductible which was high I thought. I didn't realize that there even was a deductible. This issue will make me think twice on whether or not I insure again with Asurion. When we insure with Apple there is no deductible and the process is much easier.

After a few issues filling out the form, I am very happy with my replacement. It is better than expected. Last representative I talked to was very helpful. She was polite, helped me through the process, and answered all my questions. Replacement arrived on time.

My phone stopped working and you were clear about the instructions to return it and have it replaced. It was replaced accurately and on time. It was helpful to have a return bag and instructions sent as well. The return was self-explanatory and easy to do.

Yes I would recommend to a friend. I like doing everything on like. Very easy. You do not have to do anything but put your information in and follow instructions. I received the phone the next day. Very pleased with the customer service I received and was very easy to get a new phone fast. Only reason I did not rate with a 5 star is my new phone turns off a lot and won't turn back on unless I plug into a charger when the battery still has almost half life left. It also drops more calls than the old one did.

Quick and no hassle on getting everything taken care of. Phone was back ordered so was going to take a few days but it didn't, that was nice. Even sent a new charger with the phone. Just hope not to have to do again coz I don't like having to pay the deductible lol.

I filed a claim on Nov 13th on my 16 gb black iPhone. I was told the only one they can overnight is a rose gold 64 gb. I said whatever I can get overnight is fine. I then got an email the next day saying it was on backorder and it would take 3-7 days. I waited until the 22nd to call which they said they were still waiting on that specific phone. I told them any iphone is okay. I just need one. I got in contact with a supervisor named Lawrence who said they have a black 16 gb plus they can overnight. I got confirmation saying my claim was complete at 5 pm that day and it would send tracking information within 12 hours. I waited until the 25th to call again. I was then told they have no supervisor named Lawrence and they don't have any phones they can send me. They said I will have the phone on the 28th at the absolute latest. It's now the 29th and I still have nothing. I have never written a complaint before, but this is the worst service I've ever had.

The process to replace my phone was very easy to accomplish. The representatives that were called were knowledgeable and made the process easy to understand. The phone was replaced and back in service with no interruptions. The insurance saved money on the replacement. I will keep the service on all my phones.

Sadly I lost my phone a few weeks ago. Luckily I had insurance and paid only the deductible to get a new phone. I did everything online. Easy step by step guide and new phone came right away. Too bad I didn't back up the old one but lesson learned.

Daughter's phone was damaged. Called found out there was a charge for the new phone even with insurance, used credit card to make that payment and got everything set up. Next day received her refurbished phone. Used envelope that was provided and shipped back. That transaction went smoothly. The phone does have some slight blemishes, but is operating.

I am a T-Mobile customer that recently did a phone claim through Asurion. I cracked my phone screen and wanted it replaced, which cost about $200.00. When I received the phone it was sealed up nicely. There was no cosmetic issues with the phone. When I turned on the phone it got really hot. The battery started dying. It went from 50% to 9%. The screen started flickering and turning off on its own. At one point the screen went red. It freezes and jumps out of apps. My phone company said with the issues I'm describing I might have been sent a refurbished water damaged phone. Paid $200.00 for a replacement phone that was dysfunctional. I paid to replace a phone only to be sent an even worse dysfunctional phone. Thank you so much.

Phone was replaced within 24 hrs. However it was not left at the address agreed upon even though it was agreed that there would be no one to sign for it and accept delivery. As a result, it took an additional 2 days for me to get my phone because of the opening/closing schedule of the UPS Access Center location used.

Trust me, I definitely can't make it through a 2 yr phone contract without Asurion having my back on replacements! Always easy, always fast, but the phone quality is not always the best, as to be expected with a refurbished product. Visually, the phone looks new, but I've had my replacement replaced more than once due to defective internal malfunctioning on various levels. My current will probably have to go back, but again, it's quick and painless!

I received my new or refurbished phone promptly. It included everything I need. The system was easy to use. The directions for activation were simple. My only complaint is paying $200 after paying for insurance for months. I paid more in insurance than I did for the replacement.

The replacement process was great other than the replacement price was $50 higher than the Verizon rep told us and the replacement phone we got was in good shape but the phone itself was unacceptable - it did not hold a charge at all so we ended up having to got and buy a new phone.

I was very pleased and excited about the quick turn-around with getting my replacement phone. I ordered the phone around 10pm on a Thursday night and received the new phone around 3pm the very next day! I truly appreciate the quick response/delivery as it's very difficult to conduct business without a phone. Only disappointment was the charger that came with it seemed like an after-market charger (not an apple charger). It seemed cheap and proved to be cheap as it only lasted about 2 weeks before it stopped working. A phone is only as good as its charger, and a charger that doesn't work is no good to me. :(

My iPhone 7 was stolen about 3 after my purchase. I called and had the service stopped and filed my insurance and within a few minutes all claim forms were filled in and sent in and with a few minutes received confirmation that my claim was approved and could not be more pleased with the service I received.

Hi. The only problem with replacing the devices is it takes a long time to troubleshoot then if I have to call back, the rep doesn't have info on what was done previously so we have to start from the beginning. However, on the good note - The new app is great and the support reps are wonderful too.

Call instead of using website to initiate claim. I had to apply 3 times before my claim was accepted. There wasn't an option to describe what actually happened to the phone. But after that, everything went well. Be sure to follow return instructions exactly.

I highly recommend Asurion. They are the best. It was easy to report the problem and we had our replacement phone the next day. They provided easy to follow instructions for returning the damaged phone. We were updated via E-mail every step of the way. I'm not sure how it could have been easier.

This is my son's first cell phone. He dropped it getting off the bus. Of course it landed on the screen cracking it. The claim process was quick and easy. The replacement phone arrived the next day. I had to go into the Verizon store to get the SIM card switched. We cleared the broken phone and returned it in the included return package. Very easy.

Everything went smoothly until I got an email stating that my device was not turned off on iCloud and if I didn't turn it off within 10 days I'd be charged $500. I kindly sent an email to please let me know if I turned It off and correctly to ensure I wasn't charged. I never received a response???

It's a little bit of a pain to do the paperwork but they make easy if that makes sense... They give you the option to take a picture with your phone and attach instead of faxing. All in all service was good, quick delivery and I had my new phone the next day.

Received the phone and all seemed to be ok. After using the phone for a day or so I realized my volume buttons were stiff unlike friend's Note 5. Also the cap for the stylus would become removed and then subsequently get lost. Now I have no simple way to remove the stylus.

Cellphone was dropped and cracked and would not work. Due to the fact that it was a Samsung Galaxy 7 cellphone it took a while to get the replacement. They were backordered. Asurion was a lifesaver for my daughters stolen phone. Reported it, paid deductible. Only downfall for me since I pay a monthly fee for this insurance seems like I should be able to get a better discount or upgrade if I chose to. Other than that service was great. Back on the air within 24 hours.

My phone got completely crushed and was totally unusable. Asurion sent me a replacement the next day after I reported my claim. The replacement phone has a couple small quirks which leads me to believe it was a used and refurbished phone, which is the only reason I didn't give five stars. But it works fine and I'm happy to have it until my renewal is up. Customer service was great. Entered the wrong data on my claim and through an online chat the lady corrected it for me and was very helpful.

Asurion advertises a quick delivery of a replacement device and that is what they delivered. Knowing that my devices are protected for a small fee is reassuring. They probably have the right balance between premium and deductible, but I would rather pay a higher premium and lower the deductible.

My cell phone died. I went into Verizon store, they were unable to fix it. They set up a claim to have a new sent to me. I received it tells next day. That phone quit working a week later. Asurion sent me a new one the very next day. I haven't had any problems since.

I broke my cellphone. I wanted to get a replacement from Asurion, who I have been paying for several years for "insurance" without a claim. They were "out of stock" of my model of phone, and after a week with no phone, I had to accept a "downgrade" to a lesser model, but still for the same $200 "co-pay". This company, in my opinion, is fraudulent and simple thieves. I have given them (including three aforementioned co-pay) $900 before I actually needed a new phone, and they could not deliver. I will never give them another dime, and I will try my hardest to make sure nobody else does, either.

Now I've been contacted saying my insurance will be dropped because of claims... I've only had one on this line so I called to resolve. My husband's iPhone 6 was stolen from our hotel room. I went online to file a claim and then was directed to call them. When I called them as directed I had to listen to a message saying how filing online was so much easier... why wasn't I doing that? -- because you directed me to call. I answer the questions and then the agent tells me the deductible for replacing the 2 year old phone is $120 and because the phone is on back order, I will have to wait 7-10 days for it to ship!!! What business person waits 10 days without a phone? If your car is wrecked, the insurance company gets you a rental. Where is the immediate phone replacement until their back order can ship? What a waste of money all these years paying for this useless insurance -- not helpful when it really counted. I'm canceling this insurance for our 3 phones. A business person waiting 10 days for a phone? Ridiculous.

Asurion does home LTE wireless antenna internet installs for Verizon in rural areas. Unfortunately I've made 2 appointments, and both times no one showed up. And each time the soonest they can reschedule for is 7 days later. So I will now be at 21 days of waiting - IF they show up for the 3rd appointment. I won't hold my breath.

Very fast service. We had to submit some documentation, but the replacement device was sent by overnight delivery. My only complaint is that I think the $149 deductible was too high. This was for a nearly new iPhone 6s Plus that cost us $699.

The process was simple, detailed, and very thorough. Although I had to wait a while for my replacement, I am still satisfied with the results. Since my carrier only uses this company for equipment insurance, I am very glad that they are on top of their game. Very much worth every penny. Thank you so very much!

Horrible customer service. Been paying Asurion for months. File a claim. They say my phone Is on back order. 3-10 days maybe. I Can get another phone I know nothing about, Go buy my own, or wait. Still pay full $150. Tough luck.

Online process did hold me up for a day with the process. However, once I called for assistance, the Asurion staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. Great job. Maybe work on making better notes on certain accounts to remember next time.

I accidentally fell into a lake with my iPhone in my pocket (oops!). Thankfully I had purchase the insurance. I looked up how to do a claim, entered the info from my laptop, and my phone was delivered the next day. How great is that?

My phone with a damaged screen was replaced the next day. When the screen (or something behind the screen) on the replacement phone was found to be defective after just a few days, that phone was also replaced within 24 hours. Excellent service.

This is well worth the few extra dollars a month. My daughter broke her very expensive iPhone, and 2 days later her replacement came. Very easy on-line process - money well spent. I would recommend this to anyone. I used this service two times already - the fee they charge is way less than buying a new/used phone.

We always get Asurion. We run a business and everyone has a phone with Verizon. This insurance has paid off more than once. With no denial our phones have been replaced without any hitch. Our employees were only down without a phone for approximately 24 hrs. Thanks & keep up the great work!

Nice. Besides the automated system that you use for customer service. It was really annoying having to deal with it. I had to continually repeat words. I think it would be much more fluid if you could just type the answers to the requests given by the system.
