Everything from my phone call to Asurion until I put my damaged phone in the mail was handled perfectly. The customer service representative was very cordial and professional. The company was also very prompt in replacing our broken phone. It was a VERY good experience.

Very simple and fast service. I lost my phone. Claimed it from website, very clear and easy to follow instructions. Got the phone within 2 days. Sometimes they don't have the phone in stock, they offer you another equivalent phone. I really like the service and the on phone reps. They are nice and please to help you with.

Couldn't have been more pleased with how fast and easy it was to get a replacement phone. Obviously I'd rather have my devices keep working but I'm happy knowing that, if they do in fact go bad or get damaged, it's super easy to take care of.

The first replacement phone worked long enough for me to make the switch and then the touch screen stopped responding. Luckily I had not sent my old phone in yet. I was pretty upset, but the second replacement phone was brand new. So now I am happy. Everyone was polite and nice. The main thing is I now have a phone that works. Thanks!

My teen-aged son's phone was shattered. We submitted the claim on Sunday night, and he received a replacement phone on Tuesday. Thank you for the quick service! A teenager without a phone is tough to deal with, and thanks to you, we didn't have to for long!

Quick and easy! Phone exchange was smooth. Only complaint is the amount of the deductible could be less. Other than that It was easy to process online, got the phone within a couple of days, and was really simple to send the damaged phone back.

I dropped and shattered my smart phone's screen the middle of the afternoon. Immediately called and filed a claim with Asurion. Asurion overnighted a new phone; it was at my door the next morning! I'm happy that I had my phone insured as it saved me big bucks. Even more pleased with Asurion's prompt response.

Asurion provided excellent customer service to me when I started my claim for a damaged phone. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. I did have a question prior to receiving my replacement and the chat option allowed me to have my question answered. Once my replacement came in, I noticed the instruction card also answered my question about turning the find my iPhone off. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with how fast I received my phone. The customer service agent was very professional and friendly. Not happy that I received a refurbished phone when I'm still paying for a new one. I paid $600 for a new phone I'm still making payments on and now I have a refurbished one.

The premiums are high, but really worth it! I have two teenage kids and we have had to use our insurance claims several times. Each time we have been so thankful to have had Asurion! Service with the customer rep was great and she helped quite a bit. It was great that I got an upgrade from a G4 to a G5. At least my phone was replaced so I can be happy with that. But it would've been nice to have my original phone.

Had a new phone within 12 hours and gave easy, clear instructions as to returning the damaged phone. Super convenient and user friendly! Would recommend to anybody needing to replace a lost or damaged phone. A lot cheaper than any of the phones found used or new on eBay/Craigslist etc.

I received a new phone for a claim I recently made. That phone started to malfunction. I submitted a 2nd claim to have the phone replaced again only to receive a refurbished unit with a generic wall charger. I should have received another new phone and, at the very least, I should have received the wall charger that came with the phone NOT a generic one that doesn't even have the fast charge capability as the original one that comes with the phone...!!!

Had a technician out to my house to fix my screen (was really nice). Unfortunately he broke my phone while doing so. After a few phone calls (4)... they wanted to originally charge me another $99 for a new phone?? What?? Your service tech broke my phone while repairing the screen. After a few more calls they did send me a new phone... but beware... after 2 claims they drop you!! Please... Apple screens break! I would just carry Apple Care. $29 to fix screen.

I dropped my phone and it cracked. Called and was told that I can get replacement with deductible, called back and they already had all my information from first call. So claim was very quick and great. Received next day. Glad to have your company as my insurance.

Asurion was very easy to work with. They replaced my glass quite readily. As long as you have your original receipt and proof of broken original then you'll have no problems. From first email to last and with delivery the whole ordeal took less than a week.

The website gave me a hard time the first few tries, which made this process take longer than it should have. Besides that Asurion was helpful in giving me coverage at an affordable cost. My phone glitched to the point of not being able to use it from a broken screen, but within 48 hours the new phone was in my hands and I was all set. Free one-day shipping and I am good to go with my new phone.

The process was self-explanatory and pretty easy to follow the step by step directions. Receiving the replacement phone was fast. Customer service was courteous and took ample time to explain the entire process. This is not the first time we have used Asurion, and the steps to get a replacement were a little different.

Received replacement within 24 hrs of claim. Everything works great. No issues at all. Everything was replaced: battery, SIM card, phone and leather case. Easy to read and follow instructions on what exactly to do. Plenty of tech support listed to call in the event of a non-working unit was sent.

I would have rated higher but when I called my phone was on back order and I was told I would get a call or email when one was available. Well I waited 2 days and decided to check your website.... wow to my surprise you had a phone available but I never got any message so I had to go and order it myself. Now as for getting the phone and how the phone works that I would rate 4 stars just be under I pay monthly for protection and it wasn't overnighted. But the phone works great.

Overall I am satisfied, but some bumps in the road. First I was told there was a back order situation and I would have to wait for a period of time, but the 'new' phone arrived shortly thereafter. But it was a refurbished phone, which surprised me as the new LG5 was brand new. Set up was difficult but it got squared away, but had a couple minor problem with the replacement recently. But it is still working, although my email is not quite the same as the original phone.

Very quick about replacing the phone. A bit expensive when you add the monthly fee and $100 replacement, but better than buying a new phone. They sent us a new phone instead of a certified refurbished which was nice since the phone was only a few months old.

After 4 phone calls, customers service reps ranged from inexperienced/untrained to rude and uncaring. I was in need of just glass replacement. The only option is to get a whole new phone for $225. They claim to be now offering glass replacement however it requires you to be in an area that they have a technician which is apparently nowhere as I live 9 miles outside of a large metropolitan city. I was not informed of this, I was told by an agent that I would be contacted to set up my replacement appt. I was not contacted and only sent a additional email that said to edit my claim which only gave the option to do a full replacement. I called back Asurion and talked to another agent who told me that there was no other option other than a full replacement and the prior agent did not even document our (over 30 min) phone call. I will be canceling my policy, however that will require yet a 6th call to AT&T customer service.

I have 2 payments left on my Galaxy S5 on a 2 year contract, I have carried Asurion insurance since the beginning. Recently, the phone got slower and slower, freezes up and the battery life is only 4 hours on a full charge. I took the phone to AT&T but they said they can't help because the phone is "too" old. Basically the software/updates for the Galaxy 7 causes problems for the old S5. The AT&T rep suggests I file a claim for a replacement phone. I go to the web address to file a claim, after filling out all my info the website directs me to call customer service.
Customer service takes all the info to verify it's me, including asking me if I have ever owned this or that vehicle which I answered correctly. Then I am told I have scan my driver's license and email it to them to verify my account! Unbelievable inconvenience! I then ask to speak to a supervisor. After holding for 22 minutes I was disconnected. I know they have my phone number, birthday, city I was born in, 2 different cars I have owned because I gave them all of that information. However, no one tried to call me back after they hung up on me.

When my iPhone 6 was in my pocket when I had to jump in the pond to save my 3 yr old I was a little upset. Since they didn't have the color of my iPhone they let me get a newer one. So instead of an iPhone 6 I got an iPhone 6s next day shipping! Awesome.

I have had good experience in the past with Asurion. It appears that Asurion is no longer in control of their fulfillment process. However, in my most recent experience we discovered that a replacement iPhone shipped to us was not an actual iPhone. It was stamped as refurbished. The workmanship was poor with ill-fitting parts but the phone was functioning properly. After less than 5 months of use of the replacement phone, the screen popped loose from the enclosure and buttons stopped functioning consistently.
We took the phone to a local Verizon store and they indicated the phone needed to go to an official Apple store. Upon arriving, the Apple tech didn't even touch the phone before saying "That is not an iPhone." He detailed his evidence by stating, "The Apple logo on back is raised instead of flush. The display screen is outside of the enclosure (case). The charging port is over-extended from the case. The rear camera sticks out too far, the enclosure is also bent and that is why the display came loose." We contacted Asurion and they at first indicated the iPhone was no longer covered because the screen was loose and this voided the warranty. After explaining that "of course the case had been opened--it's a refurbished phone", they agreed to do a one-time customer care courtesy replacement. When I objected to the characterization of it being one-time and an exception, they indicated they had no other process.
We received the new replacement, and immediately took it to the Apple store for verification. Again, without even touching the phone, the tech was able to tell it was not an iPhone, but again a clone. They detailed all the same characteristics (which we already knew at this point). He looked up the IMEI number, and this phone was NEVER produced by Apple, the serial number is not even valid so he couldn't even report it to Apple.
I contacted Asurion immediately, and the first Claims agent stated she was "completely flabbergasted" that this happened or even as to how it happened. I was put through to technical support, who then took the IMEI number down, reviewed the issue. I was told that we had been shipped a clone because no authentic iPhones of the model and color and memory were available at the time. She did an inventory check and identified an authentic iPhone in stock of a different color and agreed to ship that phone. We will check that phone when it gets here too.

Needed to replace a broken phone. They replaced it - no questions asked. Asurion replaced the phone in just a few days. That's the way insurance should be. I would recommend Asurion to anybody buying a phone. I will use their insurance for every phone I buy.

This process is very easy to follow and the response is quick. I had my replacement phone in less than 48 hours. I've had 2 claims during this year, so I've been dropped from insurance. While I understand that is the process, it is disappointing that I couldn't keep coverage and pay a higher premium.

The process was fast and easy. The only problem I encountered was that the customer service on the phone was a little less helpful than I would have liked. I was told I would be able to do the whole process online. But I kept running into problems online and eventually just called and was left on hold, listening to a robotic voice tell me that I can do this process online and it'll be fast and easy, which wasn't true because I kept trying to, and it wasn't working.

My wife and I are on the family account with our son and daughter-in-law and when the wife dropped her phone in the washing machine, while doing laundry, it was completely destroyed. It was a bit of a task getting the Apple folks to replace the phone, but Asurion did what it was supposed to do. Replace a smartphone and do it quickly. Could be more pleased.

Broke my phone, ordered a new one, got it in 3 days. Wish you guys could work out a deal with the cell phone companies where when this happens the cell phone store can provide us with a new phone and you reimburse the store. That way the customer doesn't have to wait 3 days for their new phone.

I was unpleasantly surprised that after paying $10 per month for a long time I should still have to pay $149 fee to be awarded a replacement. But the service was exceptionally fast: from the retail store at 4 pm to delivery at 9:30 the next day. And this not once but twice in about three weeks. Exceptional, indeed.

Son damaged his cellphone. Notified me and I Immediately notified proper parties. Phone received 3 days later and then I set it up and mailed to him. It became a little complicated because I live in Bismarck and he was in Williston but everything eventually worked out just fine. After school, my son dropped his phone running for the bus. Right away he turned to pick it up but someone grabbed it that quickly. I submitted a claim and receive a nonworking refurbish iPhone, resubmit a second claim and this time I receive a new iPhone. I am satisfied but not happy with the experience. Personally I believe that any Issue should be resolved the first time. But I am satisfied. Thank you.

The process was very simple, and quick. Once I was able to pay for the replacement and put the order in, I received my phone very quickly! They even expedited Saturday delivery, which made life much easier. The only downfall was that I still needed to go into a VZW store since I needed to switch from the phone I had been using, and I wasn't able to factory reset my broken phone before returning. Otherwise all was great.

Asurion we very efficient in taking care of my son's stolen phone. If I remember correctly, I believe we got the replacement phone the next day. The agents were kind, understanding, and helpful. I highly recommend this company when handling cell phone insurance.

When it comes to the numbers needed on the packaging to initiate the phone larger print would have been useful. Additionally, if the numbers needed are not properly identified, give examples on the numbers to look for in the instructions.

The replacement device received from a recent claim began acting up and Asurion came to our rescue and provided a replacement to the replacement smoothly and quickly, with minimal questions asked, because it was clearly a phone issue. Aside from the Note 5 being on back order, Asurion was quicker than any other insurance claim I have had to file. Their customer service was exceptional and their ease of filing a claim and completing the process was greatly appreciated. The entire process was handled very professionally by your staff. I received the replacement device and the Verizon staff transferred my necessary information. I have no complaints with the service. The only issue I have is the deductible and the warning about turning off the locator services. I thought that the deductible was too high and I don't understand the importance to you about turning off the locator or threatening me with a $500 charge. The deductible was on the order of 20% of the cost of the phone. I would hate to think of the consequences of a house or car insurance premium like that. In any event I paid almost $200 as a deductible and I am paying a $14 a month premium.
If I insure the phone for the three years I am going to be paying for it that is approximately $700. The phone only cost about a thousand and I am sure that the wholesale cost of the phone that you would probably pay is a lot less than the thousand or so that I paid. I am wondering what good the insurance really is. Also, that threat of a $500 dollar charge if I didn't terminate the locator or cloud connection or whatever it was that the Verizon technician turned off is, to me, nothing more than a method of recouping some more revenue for the person who does not perform that task. While I cannot find any fault with your service or the timeliness of your response and the phone replacement I am beginning to wonder about the benefits of even having the insurance.

The replacement phone was not available at the time of the claim. The company contacted me as soon as one became available and made sure it was delivered the next day. I called to make sure the broken phone had been returned by the deadline and they were helpful in tracking this for me. Great customer service!

We cover poor phones with Asurion. The service has been just as they promise. When things happen, they react in a timely fashion and the replacement products are in excellent condition. The service was great. Got my phone the next day. I know it was a refurbished phone which was ok but the phone wasn't cleared or wasn't factory reset. There was still pictures on there and more and there personal information on there as well.

I found your people to be rude and uncaring. I also believe your procedures to be seriously flawed. The replacement process took several calls. The first agent offered no solution. We then called Verizon and on the next call to Asurion, after telling your agent, we had to have a phone, we were finally able to get a replacement.

My screen cracked on my phone and I went through the Asurion insurance replacement process. The process was easy and customer service was outstanding. The only slight discrepancy would be that the replacement phone does seem a bit glitchy. The actions I ask the phone to do sometimes don't respond as expected. I have had to do a soft reset twice with the replacement phone.

I called Asurion on the phone to make a claim. The person on the phone was friendly, helpful and knew how to do my claim quickly and with no problems. We received the new replacement cell phone in 2 days. We took it to a Verizon store where they did all the downloading of information for us. It was the third time we had to make a claim and all three were done quickly, even the one we did online.

I was very satisfied with the care I received on my Samsung S7 Edge. Then I tried to get a Samsung Note 5 replaced under the care. I was denied the warranty coverage for that phone. Because you said that it had not been in service for more than 3 months. No one bothered to ask me why the phone had not been in service for that long. If they had they would have found out that I had taken the phone away from my daughter. And told her she had to get her own phone. We then got ready to give it back to her to reactivate. Before she could do it she dropped the phone and broke it. The phone was in good working order up until about a week before I had her call to get it replaced.

Although it took 2months and several calls repeatedly answering same questions. I felt at one point it would never be resolved. Finally on the last call he took a different route to connect with Verizon on a three-way call to finally get it resolved. I felt that if they had done that with the first few calls I my made it would've been resolved.

I received assistance via telephone and then had to utilize the computer to make payment and complete the claim. Company was easy to work with, provided the new phone very quickly, and gave easy info and packaging for returning my destroyed phone. Do wish the deductible cost were a bit lower considering I pay a fair amount each month for coverage. Would recommend the company to anyone. Thanks.

Phone came with after market charger and charging cable and the screen on-off button was broken from the day I got the phone leaving the button functional but aesthetically it is displeasing and I am waiting for it to fail completely.

I am currently based on Tennessee but was based in Delaware at the time. My associate is in Pennsylvania. A couple of quick calls and the phone was on the way. Instructions were easy for my associate and I both. I was able to track the progress easily. It was friendly and quick!

I had lost my phone and called on a Monday late afternoon. I received my replacement phone by 10:00 Tuesday morning. I had a small problem with that phone. I called them and the replacement was received the very next day. Customer service was phenomenal. Can't say enough about them. I would recommend this company to any and all.

The employees at the Verizon store were very helpful and professional. Asurion was very helpful and performed as promised. I am very satisfied with their service for replacing my phone that was acting up and had been malfunctioning for a few days.

This is the 2nd time I've used this service and both experiences have been fantastic. Replacement phone was in hand the next day. I would absolutely recommend to any parent to get this insurance for their kids - especially if they are involved with sports or are hard on their toys...

My phone was stolen while traveling. You guys replaced it with no problem. Whoever took my phone also logged into my email and changed the passwords, making it so I couldn't get the security email or notifications. You guys were very helpful with the process.

Needed new phone due to speaker/volume issue. My recently refurbished phone had an issue within 2 weeks of receiving it, so, they sent me yet another refurbished phone. However phone will not activate. Took 8 calls to get matter taken care of. Last call the agent was extremely helpful. Thank you.

My son's shattered his phone screen and called Asurion and he received a phone the next day (which is great). I think the deductible is too high. Without insurance I could have had the screen fixed for the same cost as the deductible. 150.00 is a lot of a deductible when you pay 11.00 a month.

I have always received good quality replacements and very prompt. Even patient when I forgot to return the defective device. I'm very glad this service is available. Everybody I have dealt with has been very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Surprisingly great insurance. I don't expect a lot when it comes to insurance of any kind because I have been disappointed so many times (auto, home, extended warranties) but Asurion gets a 10 from me, definitely raised the bar. Why can't everyone else be like this?

All went well and very smooth. Got my new phone really quick. I was back up with a new phone in two days. My phone was stolen on a Sunday and by Tuesday my new one was up and running. I am well satisfied with the service I received.

I contacted Asurion after my phone was damaged. I had my new phone 24 hours later. I have never received this outstanding service from any other retailer, food establishment, etc. They made a difficult situation easy, and were dedicated to taking care of me. This is the second time Asurion has replaced my phone. The deductible was even lower this time than the last time. It was easy to make the claim, the phone came quickly, and returning the old phone was a piece of cake. The questions asked are respectful, polite, and have enough flexibility to accommodate the wide variety of ways that we accidentally slay our phones. Asurion has saved me hundreds of dollars, and considerable hassle finding a suitable new phone too.
