I filed a claim easily and received my replacement phone promptly. I have used Asurion as long as I've been a Verizon Wireless customer. Asurion is efficient, effortless, intuitive company to deal with when it comes to filing a replacement claim. The pricing for various insurance protection options is reasonable and the coverage options are extensive enough to justify the cost.

I Called to report that we had a damaged phone. The person on the phone was very helpful. It was very easy to work with Asurion. They gave me all the information I needed then sent us e-mails. After all the paperwork was finished Within a few days we received a new phone. It was a great experience. Thank You.

They were quick to take care of the problem and issue me a new tablet when my screen for broke. I had my new tablet in record time. It arrived at my door in less than 24 hours from my calling to register the complaint and ask for a new tablet to be ship. They were absolutely fabulous.

The process was simple. It was easy to request and send back. They didn't ask too many questions. They gave me my same phone. Phone came very fast. I am glad that I went with this company to insure my phone. Plus the price wasn't too bad.

I had an issue with my phone which the carrier (Verizon) could not repair. Asurion took care of the problem immediately. The one area of concern is the call in service. It was impossible for me to handle this by phone. The internet based function was very quick, but some people may not feel comfortable doing it that way.

The phone was replaced without any problems and in a timely manner, even with it being a holiday weekend. I had no trouble sending back my damaged phone. The interface to receive a new phone was easy to fill out and submit.

Lost iPhone at the mall while shopping for Christmas and it was replaced within 24 hours! Great service!! I would like it to be a less expensive deductible to replace the phone because I am already paying for the monthly insurance. Overall very happy!

The service representative was courteous and professional. The only problem was that I would have preferred getting the same kind of phone that was damaged instead of the one that was sent. The model phone that was damaged and wanted a like replacement for was not in stock.

My phone is on my wife's account. Once I found out from the Verizon Store where I purchased the phone, that this is handled through the insurance that we purchased, I contacted ASURION via email, filled out the form and submitted the claim. Within a day or two, they replied that my claim was approved, however this particular phone was out of stock. As soon as it became available (only a few days later) it was in the mailbox! So, for the first time I ever had to do this, the learning curve was easy. The only disappointment was at the Verizon Store. The only assistance they would give me was to change the SIM card. Transferring programs, data, etc, from my damaged phone to the replacement phone was up to me to figure out.

Take time at the beginning, start the claim is not easy, mostly if you never been doing this kind of experience before, but once you start it's become easy and faster. The chat support - it's the best, believe it or not, I'll start been frustrated with the process until the chat support help me and solve everything.

The agent I spoke to was wonderful! She was professional and very cordial. She helped me immediately, explained everything, and got a new phone to me the next day. It was a fabulous customer service experience. She is a great example of what customer service is all about!

Asurion was speedy and professional with the shipping of a new phone. The directions were clear other than we had trouble on shutting off the phone since it was broken. We had to do a little research to figure out how to do this but was successful. Thank you for your product.

I only had my Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge, 2 weeks when it slipped into the recliner I was sitting in. In my effort to get it, it was lodged in such a way that the screen broke. I submitted a claim a week and a half after damage (phone still worked for a while), and we had a new one in two days. The price is fair for a replacement iPhone, and I love that we can now submit more than one claim a year if need be. I'm sure we'll need to with 2 teenagers on our plan! Thanks, Asurion!

I have had Asurion insurance for many years and when a claim was made they were very helpful in assisting me through their process. The response time in providing a replacement has been overnight. If there is one thing that I could change would be having to be home to sign for the new phone. I missed UPS two days in a row as they actually were trying to deliver after hours and never rang the doorbell or knocked so I could hear them.

After first replacing my phone with a refurbished version of mine and having it not work the way I needed due to a bad battery life, they replaced it with an upgrade, brand new, in the box! I went from a Galaxy S6 edge to an S7 edge at no extra cost. This surely exceeded my expectations! Everyone I spoke to was pleasant and easy to talk to. Fantastic! 5 stars!

My second phone disappeared about 2 months before I called. I talk to the real nice representative got my problem worked out. Within a week or ten days my new phone was in the mail. I never had any problems. They took care of everything and got my new phone to me. It is one I don't use very much. It is a second line. They are great folks. I would recommend them anytime.

I appreciate the speed on which you replaced my cell. I have old pics on the old cell that I have tried to download. However, the port that is for recharging the battery or transferring the pics to my PC is not making a connection with the plugs I have tried. Therefore I can't download the pics which are important to me. Once I get this issue working I will be happy to send back the old cell to you. Until then I am keeping the cell due to the above issue. Please advise the Adam from your process technology of this. Thank you.

I lost my phone. I don't think it was stolen, but when I went to make a call it was gone. I looked for it - no luck. My friends made fun of me for paying extra for the loss, damaged phone insurance. I'm glad I did! The local Verizon store helped me with all the paperwork, and I received a perfectly acceptable replacement almost overnight.

Handled it swiftly and with no issues. We called them on the phone and explain the phone was lost and weren't able to contact it. The phone must have died if it was within hearing distance. We received a phone within 48 hrs.

I filed a claim for the 9.7" iPad Pro and the next day I received the 12" iPad Pro. I called customer support about receiving the wrong iPad model and they informed me that they no longer carry the 9.7" models. Really? Even though the 12" iPad Pro is slightly better, the camera on the 9.7" is far superior to that of the 12". That was one of the reasons why I purchased the 9.7" iPad Pro was for the camera. But, anyway, I guess I have to settle for what I got. Also, the rep on the phone knew nothing about the 9.7" versions either.

This company is terrible. The glass on my rose iPhone 6s Plus cracked a few months ago and they would only replace it with a space gray phone. They came out with a program to replace the glass this month and now they say they won't replace the glass because they're too busy. They still can replace the phone with the ugly space gray. We've wasted about $200 on insurance thus far. Ripoff.

I reported my iPad missing one afternoon and a replacement was in the mail immediately. Then, a third visit to a suspect restaurant yielded the lost iPad. Fast, easy replacement. Only difficulty was "verifying" that the phone was on the account at the time of the incident. Finally, had to get Verizon to call Asurion. Appears to be a "lag" between phone carrier and Asurion. After that, remainder of transaction was smooth.

My phone was replaced within 3 business days. And the instructions were easy to follow on returning my old phone. I'm very happy with Asurion and the associate who helped me at the store. I don't understand why they send a FedEx box with a UPS sticker for returning, but the associate assured me it was OK to return it that way. Very helpful information!

I recently dropped my phone in the spa and was told by Verizon that that could exchange it for a new one. They neglected to tell me that I would be going into a new contact at 33.00 a month. They said it was the same as using the insurance. When I realized what had happened and tried to correct it. I now had to pay a 35.00 restocking fee. I filed a claim with Asurion and they were very understanding and helpful with my situation. I had been told by Verizon to tell Asurion that I lost the phone because they could not give me my phone back. I couldn't sign my name to a lie, so I called Asurion and told them what had happen and they replaced my phone. I was very happy and they even gave me an galaxy 7. Thanksgiving you Asurion.

I received a replacement phone extremely quickly after filing my claim. Process was easy. I didn't like 2 things. First, the deductible is much higher than ever ($149). Second, they ship you a refurbished unit. The unit works fine but for my money, I would have liked new.

We received a replacement phone in a timely manner. My daughter was not happy with the condition of the phone. She called and another replacement was sent and received. The 2nd phone seems to be working fine -- so far. I appreciate the service though wasn't pleased with the replacement cost after making monthly payments and receiving a refurbished phone.

I'm extremely satisfied with this unit. It is way better than the one I had before. It works! I can type messages with ease and camera is useful. I can focus and take decent pictures, the only issue is that there are incidents when phone does not ring properly as you would expect according to people who call me.

The replacement process was well organized and easily understood. The deductible amount seemed rather high when taking into consideration the monthly fee. Service was great, though. A refurbished phone could have been purchased for a lesser amount than a year's insurance premium and the deductible amount.

This company is one big FRAUD!!! I enrolled to through ATT to protect my son's phone from happened accidents with his new phone. When my son accidentally dropped his phone and damaged the screen, I decided to use my insurance protection with Asurion. When I received the replacement I was shocked. Some refurbished, suspicious device named cell phone 6. I send whatever Asurion supplied back and asked close the case and cancel my insurance. But it was just a start of a nightmare when I received a bill from ATT to pay $225 deductible. Then it followed endless exhausting conversations with ATT representatives and Asurion. Finally Asurion promised to refund deductible in two billing cycles, 19 December as they said. Nothing!!! No money!!! Fraud!!! Stay away from them!!!

It was incredibly easy to place a claim online. I had a new phone in less than a day. The instructions for returning everything were also very clear. Paying for insurance usually feels like a burden but I dare say that I am glad we have Asurion backing us in case anything unexpected happens.

Having recently experienced two very aggravating experiences involving damage to and the theft of my phone, I was much more than pleasantly surprised with the phone replacement process via Asurion. It was quick, easy, and I received my replacements in LESS THAN 24 HOURS. This is one of the few times I can say my experience with an insurance company was OUTSTANDING!! I lost my phone on a Saturday. I put through the online claim on Saturday night. Asurion told me my replacement phone would be delivered in 2 days - not 2 business days. That meant it would be processed and hit the shipper on Sunday! On Monday, my phone arrived at my office, with a new sim card, all ready to go. It was fabulous.

I am a bit concerned. I unlocked the phone when requested. I followed the instructions and correctly unlocked the phone. I received an email stating that it was not done and I followed the instructions and did not see the phone as one to unlock. I replied with a screenshot with what I saw. You have not responded. You did send another email today stating that I have not unlocked my phone. So I am very concerned that you are going to bill me $500. I cannot redo an action that I have already taken.

I've had insurance through Asurion for over twenty yrs, 3 carriers and different types (bus & personal) and not once have had a neg experience. I placed a claim on my Galaxy Note 5. I cracked the screen. When I called them told me "I am sorry but I do not have your phone in Stock. We will contact you when it's available." Aggravating but it was what it was. Fast forward a few days to them having my phone in stock. So I call them all excited to get my replacement and they tell me "sorry we don't have your exact phone. We are out of the white color." Well I went to 4 different stores TO GET THIS WHITE COLOR. I ask them if they can upgrade the memory for not having MY phone in stock. Flat out say "no but we can send you a case." Whatever I need my phone. Received "my phone" but no complimentary case. Go to plug in the phone and it TAKES 4 HRS TO CHARGE. Well they sent me the wrong charger.
My phone requires a fast charger. Call them up and they said "oh we will next day you one. You will receive it shortly." Called back the next day to ask where my package was. The rep's response was "well it's on back order so you wouldn't have received it". What kind of crappy customer service doesn't CONTACT their customers to let them know THEY made a mistake. It has now been weeks and I do not have my correct charger OR my case. I pay monthly for a service that has COMPLETELY failed me.

I was given the run around during the numerous times I called to get my daughters phone replaced. I was hung up on twice and the times I did speak with someone I was given a different answer each time. I finally was able to get someone on the phone to actually listen to me and was FINALLY after 2 weeks of going back and fourth, able to get the phone situation taken care of.

I can't remember the name of the last lady that helped me but you need more people like her. I am an old man trying to do everything that was asked of me. I kept getting different claim number and having to fax in affidavits several times, anyway it was finally resolved.

Anyone who has this insurance & has filed a claim must not know how to add. Their deductibles are ridiculous. If you add up what the insurance is costing annually & add in the deductible you can easily self insure & keep your money if you don't have to replace a device. I just had my first claim & it cost me more money than if I would have not had the insurance & just applied what I had spent on insurance towards my new phone. I have a somewhat dated phone & the deductible was more than what I could have bought the phone for new!
Anyone who has this insurance needs to look at the bigger picture & check & see what your device would really cost to replace & start doing some 3rd grade math! This company is taking advantage of the typical American who only seems to understands monthly payments. Open your eyes people & you will see this company is a sham! They're replacing your device with your own money & keeping all the additional money you have paid them. HaHaHa. Maybe I'll start a protection plan company! The only way this insurance makes sense maybe to carry it for the first 6 months of a brand new newly released device. Once you have had your device for a while it definitely does not make sense. They rely on all their customers really not running the numbers!

I think it is ridiculous that you pay for insurance and then have to pay so much for a phone replacement. Otherwise it went great. Had a problem getting the phone of iCloud but finally did. Asurion was very prompt. It was UPS that was a problem. I sat home all day to get the phone and then they didn't even ring the door bell. They just stuck a note on the door and left saying I would have to wait till the next day. I am not a fan of UPS. They a have an attitude problem. I would much rather have FedEx.

I had the Samsung Galaxy 7 for 5 months and even w/ excellent protection case the lens shattered and my fingers kept getting cut. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the deductible was more than I paid for the phone to begin with. Disappointed.

Absolutely perfect service. It was fast and easy to place my claim online and I had my new phone reconnected in less than a full day BOTH TIMES!!! All I had to do was pay the deductible which, was way cheaper than I thought it would be, and my new phone with charger and everything was shipped within a couple hours and I received the phone not long after. It was quick and easy. We submitted the needed info and got our phone replacement quickly. The replacement works perfect! The phone was on back order originally and we received update emails so we knew exactly what was going on. We even received a box and directions and postage to mail the old phone back in as well. Product took a while to come because it was out of stock, however I was called every other day and informed of the status of my claim. Then when it did arrive I received the call. Completed the claim and got my new phone within 24 hrs. This is my second time dealing with Asurion, and I had a good experience both times. I had to have my phone replaced. I received a refurbished phone that did not work properly. I had to send my phone back. I was not told the truth by customer service. I was promised a new phone replacement just in a different color. I received another refurbished phone that didn't work properly. I had to return it and finally received a new phone. I did get upgraded but after a week of dealing with phone replacements I feel that I deserve a refund for the deductible I had to pay. I probably won't use this insurance again. I would rather downgrade than deal with the pain and suffering from setting up phone after phone replacements that do not work properly.

I put my iPhone on top of my car and forgot about it. When I drove home, it fell off into the busy highway and was run over several times! I discovered it within an hour and reported it online to Asurion. My replacement phone arrived less than 24 hours later. This was notable because I was leaving the country one day later! While I thought going to the Verizon store would be faster, I learned that going online was the fastest, most efficient method of phone replacement. I am pleased with this action. My only regret is that the replacement deductible is $200. Given a monthly payment for insurance, I think this cost should be half that. I would still recommend replacement insurance.

In 2015 my Samsung galaxy s4 sph-720T got run over. I paid the deductible for a new phone since I had insurance. I was sent, by Asurion, a Samsung galaxy S4 sph-720. What's the difference? It wasn't 4g capable where I lived. It was a lesser model. I spotted this immediately when I first booted up my phone. I called Asurion to tell them of this mix up and they argued with me, telling me I was wrong and that there wasn't 2 models of the S4 sph-720T, as I was staring at the Samsung website itself looking at the 2 different models. So I took my phone in to the main Sprint store in my state (Salem, Oregon) and complained to the manager about my situation. He didn't even know that there were 2 different models!!! He tried to rectify my situation but his hands were tied.
I called Asurion to again complain about the phone they had sent me and so they sent out a new phone. This one was the correct model but the screen was defective. It was unresponsive on the left side. I called again to complain and they told me to return 2 of the phones or risk thousands of dollars in fines. I just wanted the correct model s4 that worked! So I had to take the lesser of 2 evils, 4g and a defective screen or 3g on a good clear day and less at times paying full price and no more insurance 'cause Asurion dropped me because of this ordeal. I took the defective one. I just came across recent forums of people finding out about the 2 different models and decided to share my experience. I haven't had another Samsung since last year. (My s4 met with an unfortunate end due to my anger with the defective screen.)

We waited several weeks before we finally reported the phone lost. We had been hoping the phone had just been misplaced. We made the claim by phone at our Verizon store. Making the claim was very easy and the replacement phone was delivered the next day as promised.

Filled out the online form after work and phone came the next morning. Incredibly fast! Don't know if it was a new phone or refurbished, but it was perfect. Only way to convert was through pre-programming on the new phone, but that was complicated by not being able to read the screen on my old phone, so could not do the direct transfer method. I think moving the SIM card over would have been a little easier and faster than using a new SIM card.

Had a rebuilt phone delivered 1 month ago put a new life case on dropped the phone 2 feet and something went wrong internally. They charged me $149.00 to replace it. The biggest ripoff I have ever seen!!! Why insure your phone if it's not covered.

Dropped phone in water at 4 am, called Asurion, to file claim. The rep was SO helpful in this matter. I had a new phone Droid Moto Z shipped that day to me, came FedEx the next day by 12 noon. Very impressed, which I did not expect that to happen SO FAST. I recommend them very highly to anyone having a new phone, where my new phone was 2 weeks old, was 750.00 new. I was leery of having insurance on my phones for a long time. I finally gave in and put insurance on my kids' phones. I made this first claim, somewhat expecting to have a difficult time with the claim. I was very surprised to have received the replacement as quickly as I did and also the ease with which the claim could be filed. I sent my damaged phone back and everything is great now. I broke the screen of my iPhone 6 and contacted Asurion to get a replacement device. I paid them $149, then was sent a "refurbished" phone. On the very first phone call I made, all of a sudden there was a high-pitched noise that continued through the call until I hung up. This continued for three out of four phone calls I made that day. Two days later, I tried to use my phone to call work but was unable to achieve a signal, even when I walked to the windows and outside. I never had a problem with reception with my old (pre-refurbished) phone. It wouldn't even connect when I tried to call the Asurion help line!
I ended up calling Asurion through my Google Voice account. Santos, the representative, was calm and respectful even when I was snappy while jumping through additional administrative hoops to obtain the replacement for my replacement. It took just under a half hour to complete the process, but I stayed on the line a little longer to give positive feedback for Santos. I would be hesitant to recommend this service to others based on the fact that my first replacement device was unreliable. From other reviews online, I am not alone in that experience.

After paying nearly $350 for these headphones and keeping them in mint condition. Never dropped, not one scratch. The leather earmuff falls apart on these. After sending these off to this insurance company they call me two weeks later to tell me they cannot give me a date when they will locate parts! I've had other insurance plans and have been very impressed. This is not one of them. I would say go elsewhere with your insurance needs. The one thing about these types of insurance you don't know how good they are till you need them. Then it’s too late. Hopes this helps others.

My phone was stolen and Asurion replaced it. The first replacement stopped Working after an hour. I called Them back and they sent a brand new one and upgrade back quickly. I was pleased with the service I received. They even sent in overnight mail at their expense.

I dropped and broke my phone at 8pm, then I called Asurion at 8:30pm for my insurance replacement. No hassle to complete claim and my new phone arrived by 10am this next morning. They were out of stock of my note 4, so they upgraded me to the s6edge+ at no extra charge.

I recently completed a lost phone claim and was successful in replacing my lost iPhone 6 Gold. The claims process was somewhat more complicated than expected due to a date issue on the phone usage received from my carrier. Once my claim was reviewed and accepted my phone was replaced within 48 hours.

I contacted Asurion via the internet and it was stress-free. I entered my info at 6pm and received the replacement phone by 10am the next day. Hopefully, I will not have to use them again. Hi. I cracked the screen of my Samsung 7 Edge. At first I looked around to see how much it would cost to repair and everyone wanted $300-$400 to repair and would have to keep my phone for a week to get the work done. Asurion replaced my phone it for my $100 deductible and I was never without the phone. I couldn't have asked for better service.

I dropped my phone during the great flooding in Louisiana. We were trying to get out before the streets flooded so bad until we couldn't get out. We had 4 feet of water. When I called I received true professional compassion. I am very happy.

Shipping was fast and the new phone was easy enough to set up per Verizon's instructions. The only issue I have with it is that you get a refurbished phone, more often than not, after paying a $199 deductible and $11 a month for however long you've had the phone insured. After the first year of ownership you could probably have just bought a new phone (same model) from eBay. Then there's the fact that you have to ship your old phone back so they can refurbish it and resell it again.

I was very pleased with the service and speed in replacing my stolen phone. I was a little disappointed my phone could not be liable are but at least it was disabled. I am please with the professionalism the staff show in handling get my claim. I was amazed at how all my information was returned even though I didn't have my original phone, thank GOD for technology (the CLOUD).

Phone with broken glass was replaced in one day! Replacement phone was used, but in very good shape, like new. Return shipping instructions and envelope was provided. If deductible $ would be around $50/$100, I would give five stars, otherwise only four.

My wife dropped her iPhone to a hard tile floor and it broke the unit badly enough (screen) that we had to have it replaced. Asurion replaced it within 24-hours. Replacement unit turned out to have a problem but it was no issue, it was again replaced in 24-hours. Excellent service.

I was very pleased with my replacement phone. And it was there the next day. My only complaint would be that the phone that was stolen was over a year old, and it was a cheaper phone to start with and I doubt it was even worth the $100 that the replacement cost.

My original iPhone S6 was dropped and broke and no longer worked. I rely on my phone completely as I'm a home health nurse and have to use it for directions and to make calls. Was replaced with a refurbished phone. However, the refurbished phone is definitely not like my new one, sad to say.

The phone we received has a flaw. Its speaker and internal part is weak. Cannot hear. It needs to be replaced. Just haven't called yet. But I'll still give my service a 10 because of the quick response and delivery.

It took me 6 calls to get a representative on the line, either they are rude or kept hanging up on you. Horrible customer service! This is the same tablet that has been replaced twice due to nonworking. I paid almost $60 for a warranty, that tries to avoid your call, and send you another nonworking tablet! I would rather have a gift card to Toys R Us, and never deal with this company again! I will never get a warranty from them again, Square Trade is wonderful in so many ways. Please ask for Square Trade for your warranty and not Asurion! You will be highly disappointed if you do not!

Love the phone. Have to learn how to take photos, love the pictures of the moon and trees and clouds very relaxing. Would recommend to my friends and relatives. The phone is very easy to use, safe, not easy to break. Love the music on the phone, easy to slide to send text messages.

I was having a difficult time filing a claim online so I asked for help and was quickly helped and completed my claim. The cost of deductible is far less than purchasing a new phone. I received my new phone less than 24 hours, it was very easy to activate and returned broken phone.

I received the replacement phone as indicated by Asurion. My one complaint is that it was a refurbished phone and not a new phone. I have had some issues with it that I did not have with my previous phone including the inability to link with the bluetooth in my cars and headphones. I have learned to adjust but wish I had been told it was not new.

Good: Asurion replaced my broken iPhone very quickly. Easy process. Not so good: I was under the impression that I would receive a new iPhone. It was in fact a 'reconditioned' phone. The 200$ deductible for a reconditioned phone seems a bit much.
