    First they told me because I had a cracked screen I could get the phone repaired at a reduced price. When I went to the repair shop, they said it couldn't be repaired so I had to go full price and replace the whole thing.     My daughter's iPhone screen cracked to the point that the touchscreen was not fully responsive and the phone could not be unlocked. The process was rather simple. Since I was not able to unlock the phone, I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to clear out my daughter's info and be charged a $500 fee.     I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received with the Asurion companies. I have a 40 inch TV that is not yet 2 years old that is no longer working properly so I filed a claim. After having my TV for 2 weeks they decided the cost of repairs was too expensive so they are buying the TV from me. My issue is the time, I will not receive a check for my TV for at least another 20 day, so I will be a month without a TV. This is extremely difficult for my household that include my 10 yr old. I do not have the means to just go out and purchase a new TV in anticipation of receiving the check from Asurion.

    The customer service department and supervisors are not sympathetic and basically said "you'll get the check when you get it." I am very upset and will NOT purchase a service plan from them again. Also this is the 2nd TV I've have in 5 years with Asurion as the warranty service company, the other TV was another service nightmare. They don't build TV's to last anymore.

    I would give 5 out of 5 but I'm not sure if Asurion is going to bill me for not turning off Find My Phone. In all fairness, there is a reminder on all correspondence. I reminded my young adult son to turn it off. He told me he did. Then I got an email stating that I would be charged if we didn't turn it off in 10 days. We thought we did. There was no way to check on the phone because a truck ran over the phone. The insurance is totally worth the monthly fee. The process couldn't have been easier.

    I have had Asurion for around five years now, during that time I have filed three claims. The claim filing process is very simple and usually takes less than half an hour. I have always received my replacement phone the next business. Most of the phones I have initially received were refurbished, and sometimes they do have issues, but they do have a limited warranty on their devices. Every time I have had an issue with the replacement phone (Once a speaker was broken, another time the screen wasn't adhered to the phone all the way) Asurion has sent out a replacement right away.     Got this insurance when we bought our phones from the Costco cell phone booth. My phone crapped out and contacted them. First we found out the booth had never registered the plan as promised. We registered it online no problem. Then we filed the claim. Our phone was earth $299.99. We were promised a refund of $249.99 after we returned the phone. Well today got a chq back for $90.39. I contacted them, the agent Ghent you'd me my phone was only worth $149.99. Even though my receipt says I paid $299.99 for it.

    Then I was promised the refund would be processed correctly and I would receive another couple of hundred dollars. The agent didn't even have the correct amount. Just told them they are running a scam. Asked to speak to supervisor who wasn't available. I said I'd wait. Then he told me no more money was coming. My phone was only worth $149.99.. I asked then "why did your agent spend 10 minutes tell me another chq was coming?" The supervisor then told me he had given me a cookie cutter answer. WTF??? I said "How am I supposed to buy a phone with that?" Initially your insurance says they'll replace phone, which of course they don't have any. Very worthless plan. Very poor customer service. Nothing but a scam.

    My experience with the company has been the worst. The claim was for a dropped Note 7. I received the new phone from them and afterwards they wouldn't take the broken phone back that was recalled and instead charge me 460 dollars for a useless device that was recalled in the first place. Not to mention that on top of the 10 dollars a month that they charge for insurance they also charge extra 175 dollars deductible when you do a claim. I would have been a lot better by just having my screen replaced at a mall near to my location. I was escalated to a supervisor which was never willing to work with me or provide me with a solution for me to return the recalled phone. Stay as away as possible from this company. Be aware that this is the type of insurance you are buying from T-Mobile and is the biggest scam ever. You get away better by doing SquareTrade instead of this.

    In the latter months of 2016 my brother and I got into a small scale fight, both suffering minor injuries. Unfortunately I had my phone in the pocket of my jacket at the time.     My experience, hmmm. I get a text from Verizon saying my service will be discontinued but billing will continue. I call Verizon. They wash their hands. This is an Asurion issue. I live in CA.     I recently made a claim with Asurion. My wife's phone got damaged on a trip up to her parents for Thanksgiving. She let me know the damage had occurred. I filed a claim shortly after. I got an email stating the claim had been completed. Several days went by with no phone so I called regarding the claim and was told that it did not process completely for some reason...so I re-filed a claim.

    This time we received the phone in 2 days. We activated the phone and found out the next morning that the phone battery could not hold a charge and were also provided with a non-Apple charger. So I called in regarding this issue and filed another claim. Finally on the third try and a little over a week later we received a phone that worked. Not ideal, but at least in the end we were able to get a replacement phone and stay out of contract with our carrier which saves us $$ each month. I will say that I have made a claim in the past and it typically goes very smoothly and you get your phone within a day typically - so it's a great service to have and has been worth it to us.
