    Overall the service was excellent! Timely service. My only complaint would be the replacement cost. $200 for a used phone doesn't feel like insurance but more so buying a used phone. Shouldn't my phone be paid off thru Verzon if I purchased a $200.00 replacement (used) phone when the original phone was 600.00. What exactly is my premium paying for? The overnight delivery? Just my take on what insurance means to me being in the insurance business for 20 yrs. Great service time though. Any franchise opportunity? Sounds extremely profitable.

    For the past week it has been store visit to phone calls with Sprint and Asurion. One, they don't give their Sprint employees/associates any manual on how to use the new system for repair/replace. Two, their customer service is unwilling to help. I called Sprint, they told the that I could go get my phone repaired or replace it over the phone for 150$. I went to the store about a repair for my phone, which is usually $100 for the repair, they didn't have the parts because Asurion doesn't give them any of the old phones to refurbish or use. (Scam) So the only other offer is the replace the phone for $200. Great. So instead of the in-store replacement for two hundred I decided to call Asurion to make the replacement over the phone.

    This is where it gets annoying. Online it says, quote, "To file your claim or check your claim status online, go to www.phoneclaim.com/sprint. To file your claim or check your claim or shipping status by phone, call Asurion Customer Care at 1-800-584-3666. If your device has been damaged, we will send you shipping materials to return it."

    Of course the online claim system is BROKEN and bugged out multiple times. Then I call and the woman on the phone tells me that Sprint SHOULD have the parts and that I need to go back to the store and figure it out. I ask her if I could make the replacement on the phone, she tells me no. In that quote it does say "If your device has been damaged, we will send you shipping materials to return it" right? I've been told twice now that I could make a replacement over the phone? I guess this woman, Sasha, did not want to help me? Now I have to go back to the Sprint store to file a replacement and wait 2 weeks to get a replacement. Honestly this experience was so ridiculous. I wish Sprint never switched to Asurion.

    They replaced my stolen phone and it was quick and secure just with the deductible wasn't so much. We pay a lot per year for insurance and still have to pay $150 per claim. Wish the deductible would go down with the age of phone. $50 deductible seem more responsible especially since we have only used the insurance twice in over 5 years. I could have bought a lot of phone for what I paid in.

    Very dissatisfied, disappointed and heartbroken with Asurion in regards to getting my phone replaced. Not only do we pay monthly premiums and a deductible when tragedy strikes such as my case; but also deal with the fact that cell phone is on back order for 3-7 days. Mine was stolen a week ago and still no phone. I keep calling Asurion just to be told they apologize for the inconvenience. I'm sorry this is just unacceptable. Consumers shouldn't have to go through an act of congress to get their phone replaced. I hope mine does soon. Otherwise not sure what the next legal step should be. Please don't deal with this company if you can avoid it.

    My grand daughter is on my family plan. Her phone which is covered at 11 dollars a month shut off. Now I thought no biggie. Just contact Sprint and they will fix the problem right up. The rep at Sprint stated that I had to file a claim on the Asurion website. OK that's easy. Did what they asked and sent in all the right forms and ID. Got an email right back saying "yup we can get you a new phone right out." I thought yay!!!

    Filled out my contact and mailing address. Then the next step. "WE CAN SEND YOU A PHONE FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. $150.00." Are you freaking kidding me. That is what I can get a new phone for without your crappy ins. I told them they can kiss my you know what. Then they said "oh we can put your claim on hold for 60 days while you think about it." Hell no. Take your so called claim and cram it buddy. These ** are sharks moving in for the kill. Take your money and then when you need them they ask for more. Got rid of their pos ins. Never dealing with these ** again. GOODBYE!!!

    Why I have to pay $200 to fix my broken screen? I reported my phone was has broken screen. And I got the link that show how to pay $200 and I will get a replacement phone. I don't need a replacement phone. I just need the screen to be replaced and Apple store can do this for $120... For almost 2 years I pay $10/month for Asurion for nothing!!! Cumbersome claiming process and this is a lesson for me not to buy insurance again... Never!!!

    Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I have filled out 4 affidavits and still not done, went to the Verizon dealer and they were not able to get a damaged phone replaced. I would rather have a root canal than go through this process again. Pretty sure they are making this as humanly hard as possible to try to not have to replace a damaged phone.

    Bought total protection through Verizon and needed to replace Note 4 after dropping in water. Received replacement Note 4 quickly however phone will not charge using charging port. Called Asurion and was told they no longer have the Note 4. Was offered the Note 5 but on backorder for 5-7 days. It's now been over a month and still no phone and no estimated time when available. They suggested I find an old phone and activate it until phone becomes available. I paid $10.00 monthly for total protection for more than a year and another $150.00 deductible for a non-working phone. Not a happy customer!!!

    Getting my replacement phone was no hassle and very fast. I love the online process of just a few questions and boom! That sucker was in the mail. Also, even easier is the returning of the broken phone (if it's still in your possession). They are also very fair about return time for the phone before charging your account. The only bummer is for a $200 deductible the refurbed screen is much less of a quality than my original and gives the oil slick rainbow effect while also isn't very touch responsive on my "edges" of the screen. Also the camera has a large chunk missing on the back of the phone. Overall, a good experience!

    It shouldn't matter but I am a 20+ year customer of Sprint and have had Asurion since day one with all 5 lines. 1 of those lines are used for online business sales chat only so for the last 18 months I've never used this phone for a voice call. Anyway phone screen cracked. Called to file claim and was turned down because I had not made a voice call in the last 90 days. Now not even my Sprint rep who sells me my phones nor any rep from Sprint was aware of this rule. I have an iPad that I don't use much that I guess would not be covered even though I was paying my bill for the line plus insurance so I have been ineligible for one year and six months. My iPad has not been turned on for several months and is not covered. I also have an older mother who uses her phone once every 6 months which makes that phone insurance worthless. Now I've been paying approx 13 per month for each line.

    I've been with Sprint since 1997 with 5 lines so I've been a day one customer of Asurion and have been paying them with no problems since they started. No one was willing to help. It's like having car insurance and something happens to your car but your insurance company says because you haven't drove your car it's not covered. Even the Sprint csr laughed and said was unacceptable however since I was not under contract for any of my lines they would only help me if I renewed my contract. I don't feel that I should be forced to sign up or waste my renewal on something I'm paying for.

    Sprint was absolutely worthless and after being one of their biggest supporters for years was let down big time. I feel that everyone should be made aware of this loophole which is totally BS. They would not refund the money they took over all those months even after telling me that what I have been paying for I was not covered. Sprint kept saying, "Well it's not us it's a third party" but they had no Problem taking my money. I just feel like if you're paying for a service and you become ineligible that after a certain amount of time they would contact you or give your money Back. It's the same thing as Sprint and Asurion taking money out of my wallet. Crazy part is even after I was turned down, they are still taking the money out for insurance even though I'm not able to use it. Crazy scam. Sprint and Asurion are bums.
