I broke the screen on a brand new phone and needed it replaced through the Asurion. It was easy to navigate through the website and had a replacement phone the next day including a new SIM card. There was a prepaid return envelope and the company gave me 10 days to send the broken phone back, so I didn't feel rushed with having to get everything transferred over.

Replace damaged phone. The efficient support of the local Verizon team allowed my service claim to be entered immediately with the delivery of my replacement unit in less than 2 days. The local Verizon team also assisted in a seamless transfer of all of my data onto the new unit.

I received my replacement phone from Asurion the next day after ordering it on a Sunday. I have used them for years through Verizon, I was just surprised how much more the co-pay was at $150 but I have not needed to have a phone replaced since my flip phone days where it was only a $50 co-payment.

Fast and easy. My claim was submitted late in the afternoon on a Wednesday and I did not expect my replacement device to arrive until Friday because of the time but it came in the next day! It looked like it was brand new and came with all new accessories like when I got my first S7 Edge so that was exciting!

My iPhone 6 screen was cracked and the phone was not functioning properly. I contacted Asurion and the phone was replaced very quickly. I would definitely continue my coverage, and will add it to my other phones on my plan as well.

2 days after getting new phone, an employee cracked the screen. It was a very easy process to get new phone, did everything over the phone and got new phone next day! Agent on the phone was very understanding and professional. Made the entire process less aggravating.

I had very difficulties trying to deal with the Find my Phone page and seek help with the Tech unit from Asurion. The techs were very helpful resolving my issues in clearing security access to the phone. They were courteous and excellent customer service. Thank you for all you do Asurion.

I was very happy with my replacement phone. Once I paid my deductible my phone was shipped the same day and arrived the next day. I was pleased with the service and the quick response time concerning my claim from start to finish and would definitely continue to use Asurion insurance for my phone.

I think the service was a good investment and they are very fast to respond, quick to please. Their ability to help you take care of your problem with your cell phone always is what's convenient for you and how they can work with you to replace or repair your cell phone. My tablet was dropped and did not work. I called was taken care no questions asked. I received the new tablet when expected. I was very impressed with the company handle my problem. I will not complain about paying my monthly charge on tablet on my bill. Really worth it!

Directions once the new phone was turned on were quite lacking leading to 2 hours on the phone with my wireless carrier as I called at the point in the directions when I was told to do so. My wireless carrier was less than impressed. It also took my removal of my old device from find my phone and then 2 follow-up e-mails and 2 more subsequent phone calls to you to inform you I'd removed the device which neither of the staff could check on, confirm or deny. The first said it was taken care of and then I had to make the second call. Each person I spoke with was patient and kind which was impressive. I just felt the instructions were very incomplete and once I followed them, I still got follow-up communication that wasn't registering my action on your end. A bit frustrating from my perspective.

I have had two experiences. My first replacement was mailed to wrong address. Received it late. Second phone experience was better. Would be nice if they could be overnighted. I will buy insurance again. The deductible is rather pricey though. I will recommend to friends.

Called Asurion to replace a broken iPhone via Sprint, my provider. First off, they wanted to send me to South Carolina to replace the phone due to a possible glitch in their system when they asked for my zip code to find the nearest repair facility. She then proceeded to name other locations where my phone could be fixed for $100 at a repair facility. They were all 2-4 1/2 hours from my home. Was told then that my phone needed to die so I could erase it from my iCloud profile. Did that, went online where I was told I could then finish filing my claim and that the replacement issues were now overridden. Came to the same screen of finding a repair facility and had to call back in, since there are no other options. Call back and now my replacement phone, which should be here and be activated next day is now $200. I'm paying $18 a month per line with Sprint for my "insurance" coverage. Absolute rip-off!
Second time I called back in after I found out I couldn't actually complete my claim online I had a rep continually talk over me until I told her I didn't need to know the benefits of my insurance plan, but was instead trying to file a claim. Then I was told as of the 17th of January, the only way these claims could be processed was at a repair facility and that mail in repairs were no longer viable. Are you kidding me? I asked to speak to a supervisor and he was extremely condescending. Getting rid of all of my insurance with them, and I informed Sprint of their practices. This is not how you do business, and this is definitely not how insurance is supposed to work. The item was defective and faulty, by no fault of my own but I was told that AppleCare was less than the Sprint approved insurance, which is completely misleading. This is absurd.

Needed a replacement for a lost iPhone. Everyone I spoke with was understanding and helpful and did their best to get what I needed as quickly as possible. Item was received quickly and was in excellent condition. Very pleased with the transaction.

Bought an iPhone at Walmart and purchased the insurance (mobile care replacement plan) that was offered by the cashier. I ended up breaking the phone about a month later and filed a claim with Asurion, who I found out is the insurer. Sent all my receipts, copy of the replacement plan booklet, and finally after requesting one twice, got a prepaid envelope to send the actual broken phone back, which I did. This was November 2016. Finally toward the end of December, I got a call saying my claim was approved. Yay!
It's now almost March 2017 and I have not received the check for the iPhone. Imagine if I would have had to wait for this $ to buy another phone! I'd of had to been without a phone for a very long time. I've called multiple times, once hearing the claim process wasn't complete, the other times hearing the check was issued and on its way. Finally today, February 28th, 2017, I called again and was now told they will cancel the supposed first check that was sent in the mail, that I never received, and write a new check to send me. Hoping for the best, but with Asurion's track record so far, plus many things I've read, I'm not expecting much. But I will keep calling and complaining until they send the money I'm owed.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this company and how they have handled my insurance claim. I filed a claim on November, 9 2016, followed all the steps to return my broken phone and then I am suppose to receive a check in 7-10 business days. First, I was told different things on the phone from multiple people. Nobody was on the same page and I was given the run around, always being transferred. This is suppose to be a simple claim, my phone broke, I had paid for the mobile care plan, I sent in the phone to Asurion and I am suppose to get a check.
Tomorrow is March 1 and I still do not have my check. I called today and was told they will re-issue the check and it will be here in 7-10 business days. Considering it has been 4 months of the same and no check, I will not hold my breath. I paid for insurance, I should get my check or my money back for what I paid for "coverage". This is fraud, sending me on a wild goose chase hoping I will give up and quit calling. Do not get coverage through Asurion, it is a scam.

I broke my iPhone screen and called Asurion the next day, within 24 hours I had my replacement phone and sent it back on the following day. Everything went smoothly with the process and I'm happy with my replacement phone. I am definitely going to be keeping my protection.

I made a claim because my phone was stolen. Asurion is fast and delivered a new phone within a day. The phone would freeze and I contacted them back and was able to return the phone and they provided me a new one within a day. Great service.

Didn't have any issues with the iphone claim at all. I wish that it wasn't putting the phone in a small little sack to send back. The box was more obvious and easier to be taken but I didn't feel safe putting it in the bubble wrap packaging. Also to make sure that the other content is erased from the phone.

I was very satisfied with the quick turn around! I received my phone the next days. As far as the phone itself I'm not so happy about that. It freezes all the time and I order for me to use it after that I have to reset the phone. As you know I bought the phone brand new so it's kind of disappointing that the replacement phone doesn't work like the new phone.

Everything went as promised. But there should have been instructions how to handle the SIM card. When registering Verizon said to remove the card from the old phone and put it in the new phone. It turns out that wasn't good but after a couple phone calls to Verizon the tech figured out the problem and fixed it. I had already sent the old phone back. Being a SIM card novice didn't help.

On-off control came off replaced phone. Phone replaced in October with reconditioned phone that fell apart. Replaced again and fell apart again in 5 months. I hope the new phone will last longer. I am getting tired of paying for phones that I have so-called insurance on.

Unfortunately there seemed to be some glitch or confusion on the Asurion end about whether they received the replacement iPhone that I botched. I got a few notices about pending charges if they didn't receive the iPhone within a given time. The issue was promptly cleared up when I called the Asurion representative because the phone that I shipped did actually get received by them. Moral of the story- don't lose the iPhone.

I recently had a problem with my Macbook Pro. My keyboard stopped working. I filed a claim and sent it in. They had it 2 weeks and sent it back with the same problem. I sent it back in and they had it a month. The keyboard works now but something is loose inside and is banging around. This is my work computer, every second that they neglect customers like me, we lose money. This is the second time this company has displayed their epic uselessness with different products. Not worth it. It is cheaper and faster to just cut your losses and buy a new one or pay a monkey to fix it with better results.

The phone had been stolen. The replacement phone arrived promptly. Included was an extra case to store the phone. It was not the type of case that protects the phone during use. I had to buy a new case and a new 32 gig SD card. The new phone is unfortunately ultra touch sensitive, making it hard to move icons on the screen without opening the apps.

Quick service with only minor issues. One issue is the massive increase in replacement cost; I realize that the cost of iPhones has gone up, but $200 is pricey. The other issue is that it was my kid's phone and she's in college with a specific mail-room address; you don't ship to mail-rooms, regardless of how specific the address is; as a result, I had to have it delivered to me and transshipped to her instead of going directly to her which meant a 2-day delay in her getting it, not to mention the extra cost to do so. I should have been given an option to have it sent to her address instead of it being automatically rejected. Since I have had multiple items shipped directly to her from eBay sellers (including one from China!) that reached her without problem, her address is not an issue and the decision should have been mine.

I needed to replace just my phone from Verizon. Since I had insurance I called Asurion to explain I did not need a battery nor a SIM card nor a charger, just the phone since the camera lens was cracked. They told me I couldn't do that. I asked why. I am a retired teacher and on a fixed income. I can't understand why I needed to get the extra equipment. It would just be a waste that I would have to recycle. There was no real explanation except that was the model of the phone and it cost $149.00 for replacement. I am also paying monthly insurance premiums. I really don't see the need to do what they do. That is my complaint!

I have mixed feeling concerning my experience. Around Christmas time the constant overheating of my battery led to the back panel lifting. When I went to Verizon I was told that I could replace the phone for $129. Given that I planned to replace it with the Samsung S8, I held off. In a month the bad had lifted to such a degree that it had to be replaced. The cost of $199 to replace a phone that wasn't worth that amount was ridiculous. As for the process, it was quick and easy. I just felt that the copayment was much too high.

Everyone was very helpful and got us a replacement phone quickly. We use the phone for our business and it would not charge at all. We received the new one and it works well, have had no problems with it. The girl at the local store was very helpful in getting us a new phone and helping out with the phone claim for the other phone.

On my first call the customer service representative could not tell me what replacement device I was being given. She gave me a part number that was not searchable on the internet (I assume it's an internal part number). She then told me to go to the website to view the replacement but she could not provide a specific web page nor have I been able to find any place on the website that shows any device information. I ultimately hung up and tried again.
The second rep was able to provide me with more details explaining that it was the same as my current device just with 128GB of RAM instead of 64GB. What I actually received was an earlier generation device with 128GB of RAM. It was significantly different from the insured device and worth a significant amount less. After yet another call, I was finally able to get a satisfactory replacement for my device.

It took 3 times but finally got a lady that was very helpful. Quick service once I found someone that would listen. Too expensive of a deductible when you consider the monthly coverage fees paid for the last 2 years added to that deductible. Verizon and Asurion need to know what services are provided for under each other.

I recently had my phone stolen. I have been paying the monthly insurance fee. Asurion charged me an additional $200 to replace my phone. I received a refurbished phone with a cheap store bought charger. My phone was recovered and they refused to reimburse me and demanded the stolen phone be sent to them. I think they are a rip off to customers who trust them to help.

It is always so quick and easy to replace a phone through Asurion. It is always appreciated that they overnight the phone so that you can be back on track quickly. Room for improvement exists with their underwriter process. If there is a case that needs review by their underwriter, they get a little scattered. I have had an experience with this with Asurion. It took 5 days to get a phone because it was clear that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Aside from that experience, all my other encounters have been great.

I filed a claim and received my phone the next day, I was in no rush as my phone is still working so a wait wouldn't bother me. I opened the phone to see a third party charger, I was told by a Verizon representative to never use a charger that was not the same brand as your phone as it could potentially create charging issues down the road. I spoke with a representative at Asurion who told me that because of my charger worries that they could send me a brand new phone to ensure the proper charger. I unfortunately didn't have the serial number of the phone when I spoke to the representative (I had to receive a call back that took like 40 mins to get and had to leave home real quick). The representative said she was going to notate my account with our discussion and to call back when I had the phone.
When I got home I called back to Asurion and spoke with a woman that told me that there was nothing she could do to help me and she transferred me. The next woman I spoke with told me pretty much the same thing. Here's my issue with this whole thing, while looking at the backside of both phones you will notice the serial number and other manufacturing information. On my replacement it says refurbished by Asurion, I understand they cannot guarantee a new handset but I still owe about $600 for my phone which was brand new.
I pay $11 a month for my phone protection and have for almost 4 years, that's about $500 on top of the $199 I paid for my deductible and they can't give me a brand new handset. It may sound petty but I am not paying $600 for a refurbished handset when I could easily get a used one off eBay or Amazon cheaper than that. I think I will just pay the $350 for a screen replacement because at least I'll know that the phone has only had 1 owner.

Having damaged my phone on Friday, making the claim on Saturday and receiving a replacement by Monday was amazing service that is quite rare. The assistance I had on the phone with your representative was very helpful, friendly, and professional. However, I was unable to recover a vast majority of my files on the damaged phone I had to send in before I could find a way to retrieve them. Many photos, videos, etc. of great memories were sadly never recovered from the device. The only policy I had an issue with was having a short limited time to try and get files off of my damaged device, and if the device was not sent and received within the allotted time I would be charged a substantial sum I couldn't cover at the time. Other than that the customer service was exceptional.

Happy overall. Getting my replacement phone was pretty easy. The only complaint I have is that I tried to follow the instructions in the box to activate it myself, but it didn't work. I still had to go to my cell provider. Even the gentleman that helped me at the store said they have to make the switch of my info. Not sure why those instructions were included.

The area around the top ear speaker was dusty and that floating silver bar that is across the top of the phone is very loose. Also, friends and family tell me that they cannot hear me as well as my other phone. When I have this phone on speaker, it is not as loud as my previous phone. Thanks for listening.

Asurion has some of the best customer service I've ever received. It is truly a pleasure working with the people. The replacement phone however was disappointing. In the past I've had replacement phones and I'm sure that they were refurbished units but you could not tell. These new refurbished units are modified from the original iPhone state with alternate branding and marks that change the carefully designed aesthetic of the iPhone. When I pay insurance to replace a product I would expect that the replacement would be identical to the item being replaced. These replacements are not.
It may not matter to people who cover their phones with cases but the look of the device is important to me and these look amateurish. I am embarrassed to put my phone on the conference table when meeting clients. My business is investigating other options for our phone coverage. For what we pay in coverage and deductible I would expect more quality and I am truly disappointed that Asurion had no problem with these branded refurbished units.

Also I'm not sure if I received the actual charger that goes to my phone. Every time I plug it in a message pops up to plug in the charger that comes with the phone for faster charging... My experience with the failure of my 1-1/2 year old iPhone and Asurion is a mixed bag. What went extremely well: Online process of requesting a replacement phone. Delivery of the replacement phone(s) the next morning. Activating the new phone(s). Ease of returning defective phone. Unfortunately, I had to repeat the above process three times. The first replacement worked for about a week, and then the screen began to freeze up and sometimes even rebooting the phone would not fix the problem. Second phone didn't work at all.
At that point I got the first person I spoke to on the phone, with whom I had trouble communicating, to transfer me to a supervisor. The problem was not unprofessional conduct, I have a hearing loss and the representatives accent was hard for me to understand. The supervisor was also very professional. She reviewed my case, explained that the supply of refurbished iPhone 6s was low, and said that they were going to upgrade me to an iPhone 7 at no additional charge. This was late in the day, and the iPhone 7, new from the factory, arrived the next morning. It works perfectly. I am very pleased with the final resolution to this problem, partially because I am not accustomed to warranty issues turning out this well.
Five stars for responsiveness, both via the website and with humans. Two stars for Quality Assurance on Refurbished phones. Fix the QA problem, keep the five star aspects just as they are, and you will have service that is a model for all industries. I would also like to add that my iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 both lasted over two years before starting into slow death, which means that I had time to replace them before they quit working altogether and was never without a phone I could use. That never happened with Blackberry or any of the other phones previously owned. I hope that my iPhone 7 repeats this history.

My recent interaction with Asurion was a 5 star experience. From the initial contact to the receipt of my replacement product, the company was courteous, professional and helpful. They helped me through the process and I received my new product very quickly. I would highly recommend Asurion to friends and family and will personally use their products in the future.

Easy online application, fast delivery! Hopped on website and was able to get online and fill out forms, they took AMEX and paid deductible with ease! Also was able to track package and delivered just on time! Phone was easy to set up and restart. All pieces included.

I had my car broken into, and my phone stolen along with my wallet. Thank goodness we had insurance on the phone (Moto z force)!!! I ordered the phone on Friday morning around 12 am. The replacement came the Saturday after!!! Thank you so much!

I called Asurion Friday night to have my son's phone replaced (it stopped working unexpectedly) and the new phone was delivered Saturday morning, much to my surprise. My son was very happy to have his phone back so quickly and was able to get it set up quickly.

Getting the cell replacement was easy. However, once my old new cell was ready to go it started warming up right away. It is very frustrating and scary. I'm trying it a few days to see if it is tolerable to use or not. Thank you for all of your help.

Called Asurion because my husband had lost his phone and they no longer carried the phone that he had so it was replaced without any problems with a more up to date phone. We received the phone the next day and was really pleased with how quickly we got the new phone.

Slow on return email to let me know that device was received and was good condition. And I was not liable for any damages during the shipping process and the phone was unlocked and able to be accepted by you all. Other than that it was great service.

Representative was very friendly, very helpful and fast. They make sure that I had given them all the information they need as well as me giving them the information I need. Thank you! I've done a follow-up check behind receiving the phone make sure the phone was received. I have no problem with the insured. It was good to handle that situation.

This phone was replaced in just 24 hours so that was great. However the phone would not function at all when we returned it to Asurion yet they still called to say that we did not turn off the "Find my iPhone", which we did do online. I just wonder how did they know this function was on? Phone did not turn on at all and when they called I told them it was done online through iCloud. To that the rep just thanked me and ended the call?? How do they know if it's off or not when the phone would not function? How do they know that I did turn it off (which was actually done before the phone was returned)? Totally confused by the phone call.

First off, as a preface, this is quite literally the first negative review I've ever posted online about a business. I even created a Consumer Affairs account solely for this purpose, I was so frustrated. Onto the actual issue. I was trying to file a simple claim for a replacement phone, but Asurion assured that that would be infinitely more complicated that necessary. First, their automated form wouldn't accept my shipping address as valid, causing my claim to become locked and requiring the creation of a new claim in which I would ship to a different address.
On the new claim, they then insisted that I print and scan a signed affidavit as well as a scan of my ID. After waiting for them to approve that information, they then informed me that I would have to wait approximately 24 hours for a claims adjuster to review my claim -- information that hadn't been communicated to me before requiring me to go through the hassle of printing and scanning. The extra 24 hours makes a significant difference to me, since a working phone is crucial to my professional life, and I can't go three working days without one.
The good news? If I had any questions I was welcome to call their 1-800 number to reach a customer service representative. On my broken phone. Instead, I used their live chat function, and Tara, the customer service representative, was condescending and thoroughly uninterested in finding a more workable solution. I'll be taking my money elsewhere and paying slightly more for a replacement phone directly from Apple. And you better believe I'll be canceling my Asurion policy.

When I called them they advised me that their system and website were down. It would take 20 days to analyse the TV for repair and I'd have to send it to them. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS IS A DUMB DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY I would have not added this "repair contract" to the Walmart purchase.

It was pretty easy to get the replacement phone. The only minor issue was I had to call and couldn't get it done on the web page. The phone my son had was not available and they had to find a comparable phone to replace it with. The lady I talked to was very nice and helpful. I did receive the phone the very next day at no charge. Overall the experience was very easy.

Very convenient and fast experience. I went online and then I was able to track my phone the following day. There were options for pick up or delivery, no hassle. My phone was the exact same and customer service rep at Verizon was able to help me transfer all of my information over.

Very satisfied and was overall a great experience. I had my phone within 24 hours. Had to fill out paperwork and copy of my driver's license and after that everything was complete. It's nice knowing if something happens you will have a new phone by the next day.

It was easy to make a claim, had the phone the next day. Got a label to send the old one back. They made it very easy to send the old one back as fast as the new one arrived. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but it was not as expensive as replacing it outright.

The replacement of my phone was done quickly and with minimal effort on my part. Essentially, I actually got what I was paying for. The replacement unit is working equally as well as my old unit prior to its failure.

Dropped my phone and the screen cracked and started to bleed to where the whole screen looked like spilled ink. I put in my claim and got my phone within 2 days. I was able to activate my phone and get all my data and information back. Thank you.
