    You pay insurance for a phone and they give you a refurbished phone with third party accessories. It some cheap stuff at that. The charger, the case and headphones are garbage. What can you do. You pay this money every month and they couldn't even give you the same stuff you bought originally.

    The screen isn't secured well to the phone. It clicks sometimes when I'm typing. The phone doesn't recognize touch on the edges so it's hard to type letter "a" and "1". Poorly refurbished phone. Think your team should do a better job of ensuring the quality before sending to people. Plus it's expensive!

    Overall I am satisfied with the service. Instructions for the most part were clear and concise. However, did leave some questions that I later visited a Verizon store to obtain clarification. The clarification was simply concerning the availability to ship to a residential area versus a commercial area. Unfortunately I'm not able to have the phone delivered to my place of business as access is restricted. Therefore residential was the best option for me. Once that question was answered the rest of the process was simple as you provided all of the instructions needed to complete the transaction.

    First let's start with if I wasn't required to give a star this company wouldn't have got a star but unfortunately they require you at least give one star. This company deserves 0 stars. I buy products from Walmart all the time and I try to always make sure to get the protection plan to be safe just in case something happens to my product. Well back in January I filed a claim on one of my products. I get an email saying the egift card will be sent to my email within 48 hours. So I wait those 48 hours and still nothing so I contact the company only to be told my claim is under review. I figured that was kind normal, but boy was I wrong. The man I spoke with told me to go ahead and dispose of the product. Then he told me the claim would be approved.

    Good thing I didnt dispose of the product as the next person I spoke to told me I had to donate the product and submit a form proving that I did so. The product wasnt working right so donating it made no sense but I did what they were requiring me to do. Then from there I got the runaround and waited another week and a half to receive my payment. Instead of the normal egift card that I always request they instead said they had to cut a paper check. Which made the wait to replace my product even longer. After I received my payment I figured the nightmare was over. I was so wrong.

    Since then I have filed 4 other claims. 2 for space heaters, 1 for a cell phone and 1 for a video game. The space heaters were smelling like they were on fire, I dropped my phone and cracked the screen and the video game was scratched up and cracked. All legit reasons to file a claim. Well each time I filed I waited the allotted amount of time only to not receive payment and so I called and chatted with them each time to only be told each time that I was "RANDOMLY" selected to be under salvage review. Not one time was I selected oh no but a total of 5 times I have got "RANDOMLY" selected for salvage review. Any normal person would know that this is not random. It is them picking me because I pissed them off and wanted answers.

    I guess the moral of the story is don't purchase the insurance plans and if you do make sure you do not piss them off because they are a petty company that will hold up your claim for weeks just out of spite. I have never had a problem with this company until this year and I have used this company for years 10+. I have never been randomly selected either until this year as well. Do not use this company. Send letters, emails, call Walmart and request they change companies. LET'S STAND UP TO THIS COMPANY AND LET THEM KNOW THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS. Without us customers your lights wouldn't be on and you wouldn't be able to pay your workers.

    Cell phone insurance sounds great... Peace of mind, fix screens, replace devices... Sure. But the iPhone 7 isn't eligible for screen repair, even for the $89 deductible. Oh, but you can buy a refurbished replacement phone for $225. The fine print is really, really fine. Especially for the insurance company which is happy to take your money every month for the illusion of coverage. ATT should disclose that 7 screens wont be repaired under the policy when they sell the policy to you. It's a rip off. Dont buy it.

    When I first went to set up the replacement, I was informed that my model phone (the LG v10) was out of stock and I had to choose a different model and was suggested the new LG v20, so I continued on and then had problems with the website not accepting my work address (as I was instructed to give since a signature was required) and after multiple customer service people helping me, apparently my claim was restarted and completed with the proper mailing address for my work. However, during this time, I suppose you guys had gotten some more LG v10 phones in, and I was not informed to expect a v10 instead of the v20 I had originally agreed to.

    In the meantime, I ordered a new case to fit the new phone and new home and car chargers to work with the v20 since it uses a USB-C connection and not the micro-USB that my previous phones used. So imagine my surprise when I opened the box at work to find a v10. So I had to return all the items I had gotten to prepare for the new phone.

    Perhaps some better communication would have saved me a lot of shipping charges from Amazon.com. The phone is fine and does the job. I just feel the ball was dropped in communicating to me this change while a lot of frustration could have also been saved had your website just accepted that maybe I know the address to the place I work, where I receive plenty of mail on a daily basis.

    I have been paying $10 each month for over 18 months and when I did lose my phone, Asurion sent me a repaired, previously owned/used iPhone on which the keyboard has a mind of its own. I have to keep tapping the screen at odd locations to type characters and always have to keep putting focus back on the text field as the keyboard is all messed up. I believe the digitizer and screen on this phone was replaced at some point and now used to replace my phone. So - I have already paid $180 in monthly subscriptions and then was asked to pay an additional $200 "deductible" to get a replacement - really!? Why wouldn't I be given a new phone equipment (same model though) for the insurance I bought and paid for?

    We decided to get this insurance as we have a lot of Apple devices. We were paying $30 a month for up to 5 devices and now I believe it is $35 a month. Our Ipad screen was cracked so we sent it for repair. The Ipad came back with new broken screen. It took us 2 months with multiple phone calls, we spent probably 7 h on the phone (no joke!), I finally got a box to send Ipad for repair. And I got it with new screen, that is broken, and half of it does not work. Now I've been on the phone for 2 h this week. I found out that I was charged 2 times for the repair that was not done. And I'm not going to get my money back and if I would like it to be repaired I will be charged another $89. I could buy new Ipad and get reimbursed but I would not get money back for repair that was not done. And I can't even cancel this insurance now as I'm still trying to get my money back.

    Hello. I received my replacement phone quickly and it is working fine. My issue is with the numerous phone calls I have received telling me that the Find My iPhone was not turned off. It actually was turned off properly after the first phone call from Asurion. The rep walked me through the steps and it was off. I continued to receive about one call per week for the next few weeks telling me it was not turned off.

    Extremely concerned about the $500 fee associated with this, I would call Asurion to confirm the app was indeed shut.     This insurance is a rip off. I have been paying it for over 2 years and when my phone broke and tried to get it replaced they said my deductible is $225 because of my make and model of my phone which is a old Samsung Galaxy note 4 Edge. It just seemed extremely high to me to have to pay that amount when it is already a 2-year-old phone. I even asked if they had a cheaper replacement and the customer service told me no that it goes by make and model but they do not make my model of phone anymore, so obviously it should be cheaper I think in my opinion if they are going to give a regular model not the Note model that I currently have and that still works. I just had it in my pocket and leaned against something and cracked the screen. It does not affect the functionality of the phone, just didn't want a phone with a cracked screen.

    Disappointed. While on vacation my phone was stolen. It was a brand new iPhone 7. I only had it two weeks. I began the steps to get it replaced right away. Trying to find a place to print the affidavit while out of town was frustrating. Then when I received my phone I discovered I did not receive a new iPhone but a refurbished one. I thought I was receiving the exact phone that was lost not a refurbished one!! They need to set up a procedure where when a phone is lost or stolen a person can go into AT&T and get a new phone rather than having to wait for it to be mailed to you. When you get the replacement phone your AT&T account is charged so you are not directly paying Asurion so surely they can create a way to just get a new phone at the store and sign the affidavit at the store.

    The screen on the iPhone 6 had been shattered. I carry the multi device protection pack insurance. I contacted Asurion, set up an appointment which was canceled because they did not have the part needed. Next appt. was on a Friday. Two repairmen came to my house to repair the screen. I handed them a perfectly working phone, with the exception of the cracked screen. After they worked on it, put a new screen on, they gave me back a phone that did not work at all. They were not able to do any more work on it. They did not have the parts, again. They told me there was nothing they could do, call the company for a replacement and left.

    I called Asurion, they told me they could get a replacement out to me by Monday. I asked for something sooner since they broke the phone. Told me I should have called before 5:00. However, the repairmen did not get to my house until 5:30. I asked for them to contact AT&T to get me a loaner phone until the new one came. Nothing they could do or would do to fix the situation. I was never told before they tried to fix the screen, that it may not work and the phone would not work. I spoke to a supervisor, he was not helpful at all. I asked him if I would be getting a survey, he told me "no" but would not tell me why.

    So I have always bought the warranty plans on all my electronics. I even filed a claim years ago on a phone, and it went smoothly. This time, I'm having a horrible experience. I filed a claim on a RCA tablet, printed the label, shipped the item, and it was received by them on 3/7/17 at 10:30am. Also to point out, it says in the email they sent, that you print your shipping label, you will receive your reimbursement, no later than 72 hours after shipping original product, which can also be seen in one of my pics. The day after they received, my status changed to, "Please call customer care." can be seen in one of my pics. I called that night, lady said they just needed to verify the product, I would have my gift card within 24-72 hours. The next day, my whole status page changed and said contact customer care.

    So again, I called, the lady said almost the exact same thing, word for word, as the first person I talked to. One difference was she did say, "Oh it's showing we just received it today." Really? I have the UPS delivery notice, and also I talked to someone yesterday who said the exact same thing. So four days after they received it, still no status change, and says the same thing. So I call again, third time, and the girl tells me the same exact thing, which is a joke by this point. Obviously this is a script that they read, and just to tell you something to get you off their backs. By the end of the conversation the girl tells me, she can connect me to the claims review department, so she does, there was no answer, and a message that said if I wanted to leave a message to press 1, so I did, and it hung up on me.

    By this point, I getting really frustrated because no one can really tell me anything but the script. So I call for a fourth time, but this time I ask for a supervisor. She get on the phone and is talking so fast, you can barely understand her. She's saying something about, my product is under salvage product review, and it is something they just randomly do every once in a while for quality control. That the process takes anywhere from 3-5 business days, and then it would got to them within 72 hours for reimbursement process.

    The item was a cheaper tablet, could have been easily identified. It had been dropped and had cracks in the screen, which were easily visible, and that's about two minutes worth of investigating. So if this is something they rarely ever do, then they don't have a lot of people doing this, and what exactly, other than what I mentioned above, are they reviewing? Even an unintelligent person could verify it's the right product, and that the screen is cracked, probably under two minutes. So why do I have to wait basically, since it's business days, two weeks to receive my reimbursement? Why would they say "no longer than 72 hours after shipping original item"? That is a statement, meaning you will never have to wait longer, it would be different, if it said may, usually, maybe, or a word like that.

    I have a feeling it's all just lies that they are telling people, because they can't actually do what they say. Because I have seen more and more reviews just like mine, and if this was something they rarely do, there wouldn't be that many people having the same experience. This company has gone downhill. I will no longer use, or recommend this company. I might actually see about litigation, about getting the money back that I have spent on so many plans, since they aren't fulfilling what they are saying.

    I needed to replace my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 due to damage that occurred due to an accident. I first reached out to Asurion by phone but to no success. When I called, it just rang and then discontinued the call. I tried multiple times all with the same result. I then went to the website to try and do it online. The website would not let me select the same model phone because it was discontinued and the newer version was recalled. Instead, it wanted me to replace my phone with a phone I deem to be lesser in quality. I then began using the chat option with a representative because there were no other options. They said that since my phone was discontinued it was on back order. They said that if I chose to wait for the phone to become available, they would update me every 48 hours. I agreed to wait.

    I waited for two weeks and never received any form of update. I then used the chat a second time to see what was going on. They said they did not know why I was not receiving updates, but they had "Great News," they could replace my phone with the lesser in quality phone the website offered. I refused and asked to continue waiting. They again said I would be updated every 48 hours. Again, I was not updated every 48 hours. After two more weeks of waiting without updates, I decided to concede and take the lesser phone. My phone was barely functioning.

    However, when I began chatting for a third time, they said that a Note 5 was ready to be shipped. It would have been nice if I had been contacted. If I had not checked in, I would still be waiting. After every chat session, they sent me the transcript of the chat, so I was able to receive messages from them. They just didn't send them. This entire experience has been atrocious. I certainly hope my phone does not become damaged or lost because that would only be slightly less traumatic as having to deal with Asurion again.
