I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that I dropped and cracked the screen. I went to Asurion's website and filled out their required information and was contacted almost immediately. I had to provide a little bit further information, so, after doing so, I called the next day and they said that it was approved. I was shocked that they replaced the whole phone instead of repairing the screen, but that is their choice. I was also shocked that it was replaced next day and brand new...not a refurb. Wow!

I submitted original completed affidavit only to have it rejected. I called customer service representative to understand why form was rejected - resubmitted and rejected again. This went on four separate times - called and resubmitted before the claim was finally approved. The process took 2 weeks before it was resolved. Each time I spoke with a customer service agent (when I finally got through) I was told something different. The entire process and customer experience was extremely frustrating and not helpful to customer.

Very easy and fast! The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice and polite and extremely helpful! Very fast and timely rushed overnight delivery. No complaints! Would use again and again. Very easy and self explanatory instructions. Easy mail back method and came overnight.

My daughter's phone was broken and we called to inquire about the insurance. We never used the insurance with Asurion before. Once we called, the representative was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, and guided me through the process. The replacement phone arrived within 24 hours as expected. My daughter was ecstatic. Job well done Asurion!

Overall great experience. Was sent 2 refurbished phones that didn't work. Was given an upgrade to a new phone. Didn't have to ask for it was for the inconvenience. They were able to send the phones within 24 hours. Every customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for helping us out and making us feel good.

My phone was stolen and I received another the very next day. They were out of the same color, but I picked another. I can't believe how fast we got it! Super happy I didn't have to even go into a store, it shipped straight to my home with no problem.

Fantastic job replacing damaged phone, couldn't have been easier. Used both online and phone customer service with such ease anyone could do it. Had my replacement phone the next day, set up and usable. Hope I don't have to use it again but if I do I know they're there to take care of the situation.

When the images on my phone started fading out, I took it to the local Verizon Wireless Center where I had purchased it. While there the images went completely blank and although I could hear my alarms, alerts, etc. I could not see anything. I was told that I had water damage and they helped me get in touch with Asurion. Within 24 hours I had a new phone.

They did everything they said they would. No issues with the replacement phone. The deductible was a little more than I thought it would be since I had been paying for the insurance for over a year. Not sure I will insure another phone unless they make worth my while.

It was very easy to place the claim and we received the replacement phone within 24 hours. The instructions for returning the damaged device were clear and easily accomplished. I dropped it in the mail the morning after we received the new device. The fee for replacement was also very reasonable.

I shattered my tablet one night and realized immediately how much I depend on it! Called Asurion the next day and had tablet the following day and got right back online and to work. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was totally painless. They rock! This is why my devices are insured!

My grandson recently lost the iPhone I bought him. It was quickly replaced by Asurion the next day. Everything worked as was promised. This saved us several hundred dollars that would be needed to replace the lost phone if we hadn't had the insurance.

Using the online process, I was able to complete my claim with ease, receive a replacement phone in 24 hours and my cellular service was completely restored. I was also able without issue able to send back the damaged phone at no cost to me. Asurion has been awesome and indeed worth the peace of mind. Paying for insurance may not seem like a priority but accidents happen and having it with a company that provides a hassle-free process is worth the cost.

At first I was denied, the Asurion rep said phone wasn't in use at time of claim. There was some confusion. The Verizon people had to call Asurion and I had to dispute. I got the phone the next day. The rep was accommodating.

I'm wondering if the phone you sent me is a refurbished phone or a new phone, because the SIM card becomes loose easily but the process of switching phones is horrible so I will deal with it. But I have a feeling this is a refurbished 6s???

AT&T gets cellphone insurance from these thieves at Asurion. After paying monthly cell insurance premiums for years we filed a claim for a damaged phone. We have replacement insurance. Asurion sent a worn out cell as a replacement that had no battery life and dysfunctional buttons. When we pointed out the issues they were rude and not helpful. After we returned the worn out phone they sent another that was bent and had a broken screen. AT&T was not willing to intervene on our behalf either.

Service was exceptional, and delivery was outstanding and very prompt. My problem is with the replacement phone. At times, there is a very long delay the screen's ability to "wake up". I am not sure what causes this, and it doesn't happen every time. The most disappointing is the fact that the battery drains very quickly. This has happened since I first got the phone. I have gone through the list of possible fixes for this problem, but I have had no success. Do you have any solutions for my problem? Thank you!

After paying $200 to replace my phone the refurbished replacement phone that I received was defective. The GPS on that unit would not work. The 2nd replacement phone was a new phone, which made me happy, but after a few weeks the speaker started to malfunction. I couldn't use speaker phone or hear videos/music. I was told by the agent that I would receive another NEW phone as a replacement, this wasn't the case. I received another refurbished phone. When I called to find out why I didn't receive a new phone the agent made me feel like an idiot and wasn't helpful.
At this point I just want my old phone back and a refund but apparently I can't have that either. This whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth, especially when you consider the hours of troubleshooting I've wasted on the phone with Verizon trying to fix my defective phones and hours of transferring data, downloading apps and setting my phone up again. I plan on cancelling Asurion coverage on my family plan and purchasing aftermarket refurbished or used phones to keep costs down... Terrible experience.

Service was awesome, I called, got the forms, filled them out and got my replacement phone the next day. It only took 1 day longer because I called after 9pm so all this took place on the next day but still awesome service. It's paid off having this insurance.

My phone was cracked. I use Asurion to replace it. And I was given a refurbished Sg5 that couldn't hold calls, that for a whole day wouldn't give me my text. I paid $160 or something like that for it. After it repeatedly being difficult I went to Verizon, spent $230 on a new phone that's financing it till it's paid off and keeping the stupid refurbished sg5. All well I stopped my insurance and changed to have direct with Verizon.

Got the phone and it came fast. It all is how it should be. For the price of the replacement it better had been. For $200 I got a replacement but for the price I pay each month plus the replacement fee... I may save more canceling the service and buying new phone out of pocket. Definitely something I need to research.

I was originally told phone was on back order and it would be 3-7 days. After 7 days I called and they said, "oh no, it is 3-10 days for phones on back order." 10 days without my phone is not good for my business. It did come 10 days later.

I frequently drop my phone at home, at work and even in the shower, so I knew I needed to purchase the insurance the day I received my new phone. I was very pleased with the replacement I received after shattering my screen. And I was very thankful that I didn't have to spend another $900 for a new phone. The replacement came two days after I completed the claim I think. That's probably because I completed the claim really late at night. But it still got here in a timely manner. They also provided me with a new charging cord and wall adaptor and a new set of head phones. That was greatly appreciated and unexpected. I was very pleased with my experience. Hopefully I won't have to use the insurance again, but I will always use Asurion to insure my phone.

My replacement phone came the very next day in perfect condition. I was able to set it up at the Verizon store. There were no problems with the phone. It was the exact same phone. The form was easy to fill out online. Payment was easy. The price of the deductible seems a bit high.

These people are TERRIBLE. If you have the option DO NOT use their insurance. They are unprofessional. I was told FOUR different time frames as to when I would receive my phone. 24 hours, 48 hours, that day then NEXT WEEK. Meanwhile they already charged my bill 200.00! So they charged my bill the 200.00 for the replacement sent which was sent BACK due to finding my old phone. They WOULD NOT take the block off my phone until they received the phone they shipped to me yet STILL billed me the 200.00. The "manager" spoke to me as if I was a friend sitting next him in a bar. Then told me there was no one else higher than him. UNREAL phone companies using these people better get their act together. These people SUCK.

My son dropped his phone and broke it. He is in the navy and that is his only way of communicating. Other than email and he has just come back to the US from a deployment so he had not gotten all his communications back up and running. It meant a lot for the speed in which it was replaced.

After realizing my bill was about $80 more than normal, a Verizon sales associate had me call the hotline for clarification. Luckily they were able to quickly identify the problem and quickly correct it. They were also able to credit my account with the money missing so my total was much less.

Yes, I did receive my phone literally overnight. However, the phone is NOT acceptable. The battery dies after half a day of not that much use. The camera does not work properly. You left me a message saying you were going to charge me $300.

The replacement phone came as quickly as promised. The deductible was high but everything else was fine. I particularly liked the return procedure for the old phone and the packaging that came with it. This procedure is a little restricting and time consuming though.

Getting a replacement phone was easy and quick. I had a new phone in 24 hrs. I had to send my broken phone back. I was glad to be able to recycle it. The screen shattered. I had paid for insurance for 2 yrs before I needed to use it. I was fine with getting the same model phone as a replacement. Others may prefer a newer device. You can drop insurance whenever you want.

I feel that it was very unfair that I had to pay a deductible since the phone overheated and the battery had to be removed to stop the overheating. The Samsung Galaxy s7 was working fine and suddenly shut down and wouldn't allow us to do anything with it. It almost burnt a while in the couch and just kept heating up.

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge, so when I dropped my phone from a height of about two and a half feet, it landed on its face and shattered the glass. I called around for a couple of days trying to find a cheaper alternative to paying my deductible, only to find out it was going to cost about $400. So I gave in and called the insurance. The whole process was very quick and painless, it took maybe 5-10 minutes. Much better than expected. The best part was NOT that it came the next day to my mailbox, but rather that I received a brand new phone and NOT a refurbished one. Thank you. :)

My phone broke so I filed a claim. I paid $200 dollars as a deductible and have been paying monthly for 2 years. When I filed my claim they told me that they didn't have my phone and that they could give me a comparable device. I love my phone that I had and wanted the same phone but apparently I had no choice but to get a different phone or have no phone at all. So I went with the comparable device. I was told it would be shipped to me within one day. Disappointingly, it's now been a week and I haven't received a replacement phone and it hasn't even been shipped yet. I called to check on it and they said it's on back order. So I have been paying for insurance monthly, paid a $200 dollar deductible, and now paying a phone bill that I can't even use a phone on. Again, I don't know what the point of paying insurance for if they can't keep their word. This has been very frustrating and a horrible experience. Extremely dissatisfied.

I received a replacement phone for my second line. It was an Samsung Note 5. But I was informed that Samsung was not making those phones anymore. So I received a Samsung 7s. A refurbished Samsung 7s. I really don't care for this phone and I am upset because this phone has so many problems. So I called back and complained because I paid $150 and didn't get a new phone. I got a fixed phone. So the representative told me that they would send me a new one. Never received it. Up to this day I'm still waiting for the new phone. Like I said I prefer my old Note 5. Or another iPhone 6s Plus for that second line. I am upset with Samsung. I don't like to own a phone that has caused so many problems to other people. And I am also upset with Asurion because you lie to me regarding this issue. Please let me know what will get done. Or I will want my money back and you can get this phone back. Thank you.

Asurion was fast and reliable with my phone replacement. I called on a Monday about my phone and was helped by a friendly individual. They followed up with a email and instruction on how to return the old phone and how to turn off find my phone. I would recommend Asurion to everyone.

I recently had eye surgery and somewhere between the surgery center and the pharmacy I lost my phone (perhaps someone took advantage of my limited vision, since I could only see out of one eye that had also recently been operated on and was blurry). I called everywhere I had been, and I contacted Lyft to see if I had left it in their car, but I had no luck finding it. It was a stressful time for me, and I really appreciated getting my replacement phone so quickly and easily - thank you!

The device looks new but it 1) continues to turn itself on and off, 2) keeps asking me to choose a keyboard and 3) when turn off when I try to place a call and auto turn itself back on. I wish you'd just send me a new phone since I'm still paying for it!

It was easy to file the claim and the phone arrived quickly after figuring how to switch the phone from Chinese letter was no problem. LOL Getting it turned was a pretty simple step by step procedure. I would say the Asurion system is pretty seamless and without flaw. Thumbs up.

They didn't have my specific color in stock, but besides that I was impressed with the service. Replacement came with a charger as well. The insurance is not that great, wish that there were other insurance companies for wireless phones. I am not satisfied with the replacement. Ended up paying for an upgrade from the wireless provider. Shipping was slow, could get a straight answer from the reps. Wouldn't recommend your insurance to anyone.

Before my old phone got broken I never had a problem with my phone calls cutting out, but since I've received my replacement all phones keep cutting out and I'm getting impatient with it. I most certainly can't afford to get a new phone right now.

Got replacement with no problem, but process is so much more involved than it used to be. Most frustrating was having to print forms and download and send them. Seems you could have a way to fill in the forms on the computer and send them.

Phone replacement. I paid the deductible to get a defective phone as the sound would continue to shut off and on. Had to make a trade again with Verizon thus costing more money. Should have paid off original phone then upgraded originally. No savings.

My phone's screen cracked. I used my Asurion insurance to replace the phone. I submitted the claim online and the phone arrived within 24 hours. Very simple. I wish the amount needed to be paid for replacement iPhone was less. But still much much cheaper than paying full price so definitely worth it.

I had to jump through hoops at the Verizon store for 2 days. Then when I finally got to talk to the insurance rep they said they had to do an investigation about my incident, and after being put on hold I finally was not given any reason but told never mind on the investigation. It was then sent the next day. Which thank goodness it was also my day off because you have to sign for the phone they say anytime between 8-5. Who has time to sit and wait for ups to get there during a work day? If not you risk having your phone sent back if it's failed a second time? Why? And you have to pay the shipping? I already pay for insurance, a data plan, and minutes.
The rep asked if anything was damaged during the incident and I said yes explained my case broke, my screen protector broke and it also went through it and shattered the screen. He said insurance doesn't cover that stuff. The store didn't cover it either. Nor the company itself. The whole situation sucked. Why pay all this money for useless services?

The phone I received is defected. The speaker is not working properly. It some only one direction so you can hear but when speak the other person don't hear you and also many time it's not receiving the calls and msgs. So after calling this phone many times from my phone it's not even having a missed call.

Phone arrived as promised but was displaying the Korean language not English. So this made it useless, I could not read to activate it. Called your Tech support and they had me on the line for over 30 min... They offered to send me another phone. But as it was past 5 pm here and later where they were it would not go out until the next day. And then I would have to wait until the following day to get the new phone. THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I was then told to call Verizon. This was not a Verizon issue. It was a phone issue. Are your Tech Support people not trained on the phones that you send out and if not why? So I finally hung up with your Tech Support knowing that they had no intentions of fixing my problem in a quick and efficient manner.
I decided to go to Verizon and see if they could fix the problem for me as I needed that phone now. Had to wait about 30 mins. at store for help as they were very busy. They took the time to ask several of the associates about the issue and one was finally able to get it back to English so that the phone would be useful to me.
Please answer 2 questions for me. 1. Why was the phone sent out in Korean if it went through quality control as you seemed so very proud of (you shouldn't be). 2. Why is you Tech Support not trained on the phones you send out (he asked several people I am guessing because he put me on hold so many times). This was very poor quality control and your Tech support is useless, train your people. I will never recommend that someone gets the insurance on their phone if you are the provider as you do not live up to the standards that you so proudly say you have. This whole situation ended with me having to spend over 2 hours to fix a mistake that never should have happened and since it did your company should have been able to rectify it immediately.

My cell phone broke and I had to pay the $199.00 out of pocket expense with my carrier Verizon. Asurion paid me $149.00 towards that expense. The experience from start to finish was very pleasant. The customer service is GREAT. The replacement phone is okay. I mean it has some issues but it's okay. When I am on the internet the screen will just turn pink out of nowhere. It's a little slow when texting. I am hesitant about getting a new one because it may be worse than the one I have now and it takes FOREVER to transfer everything to a new phone. I guess I am just being lazy with having to go through the whole process. I guess it was worth the $180 that I had to fork out.

I am ok with my experience, but not thrilled. My broken phone is obsolete now so was issued another phone. Unfortunately the phone that would have been sent was on backorder for another 2 weeks which made me settle for a Moto X 1060. Although a nice phone, it is not a current model and I am finding it impossible to find screen protectors for it. If you could let me know how to get those, I would be most appreciative of it, or is there a way to get a more current model without paying another 99 dollars?

I received a replacement phone. It had poor sound quality and I was hearing crackling and the battery didn't last the day. I called to troubleshoot. First two representatives said I had to be on another phone to troubleshoot. I told them this was my only phone and I don't have another phone to troubleshoot. I said "can you walk me through the troubleshooting steps that don't involve them dialing in to the phone in order to try to fix any problems first." But the representatives wouldn't budge because I was on my phone. I recently moved to Texas where I don't have friends or family here to use a different phone and I don't have a desk job. I am a traveling therapist so my cellphone is my work phone. Long story short I was able to finally get a hold of a phone. The third representative asked me a couple questions and locations of some numbers and that was it. I got a new phone.
It literally wasn't much troubleshooting involve. I could have been on my current phone and retrieved the information just fine and I could have had my phone a weeks sooner. It's infuriating how rigid the agents were when honestly troubleshooting wouldn't have worked anyway because it was a battery issue and internal phone issue. But I know there was a process first. I am a smart individual. If a representative walked me through the steps, I could have written them down, did them and called back to tell them that it didn't work. The fact that it literally was going through a couple of menus and retrieving numbers is all I had to do. It's unbelievable. Never again do I want to go through that insanity again. I rather just pay full price for my next phone, and on top of all that I didn't even get the phone I had. I had a Note 5 and I got S7. Loved the Note but Asurion dc the phone but Verizon still sells that. Which I also thought was confusing.

I was able to get to the highest level of supervisor and she helped me and felt so bad that she upgraded out replacement phone. I received my replacement within 24 hours which I was highly impressed with the quality of the phone which was a replacement to a phone I didn't have prior which was the HTC M9 gold. I received the HTC 10 with at least half the memory of my previous phone. Cost me $150 for a replacement and the phone like many others was messed up. I could not access my email, my texting, the web kept messing up above all else. I had to bring it to a Verizon store to get it operating which for them was a hassle in itself destroying 6 SIM cards and 2 hours of work. In the end I traded it in for a better phone.
I've had this issue every time I use this service. Granted I'm glad I don't have to pay full price for a replacement but sometimes I think it's the best idea to do that. My second to last replacement resulted in 6 phones before I decided to just deal with what don't work. I hope this changes things and makes it easier for the inevitable occurrence I need a phone replacement.

Applying for service was good. Received phone quickly but the phone has not been good. It is my son's phone and he can call out on phone and caller can hear him but he cannot hear who he is calling. We have tried different settings and nothing seems to fix problem. Phone needs to be replaced with a phone that works. The device when it was stolen, did not have the sim card on it. The insurance says they cannot approve the claim for the device which was inactive during the theft. The "brand new replacement phone" that I was sent is clearly a poorly refurbished iPhone. From the moment I activated it, it was worse off than the phone I dropped in water that it was replacing. There are constant keyboard glitches and the battery life is horrible. It turns off without warning. After all of these issues within the first 24 hours of using my replacement phone, I contacted Asurion about the issues. That was nearly 2 months ago. I'm still waiting to hear back. Needless to say, I won't be paying for insurance on my next phone.

Again had to send it back. Waste of time, money, effort. After getting upset then they sent a proper phone. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Paying for insurance for two years, purpose is to have the problem resolved quickly, easily, efficiently. My daughter had to leave town in a school trip without her phone. The only reason why she has a phone is so we can communicate. I feel the system is flawed. They just sent the cheapest thing. I felt so taken advantage of by the company. Asurion has absolutely the best customer service I have ever experienced. Hands down. Every time I have a issue they made sure to take excellent care of me. My only complaint would be that I received 2 replacement devices that both turned out to be defective. After the 2nd device was defective customer service issued me a brand new device (not refurbished). So far the new device works absolutely perfect. 0 complaints and I believe I will be good to go for the long run. Thanks again for excellent customer support.

Heartbreaking incident, but you made it good with the prompt delivery of my new phone and accessories. The Edge 7 must be insured because no one can repair them. Glad I took out insurance. Dropping my phone on the concrete was unexpected. The service to replace, took only a few simple steps on my part.

I cancelled my service on two of our three phones. You made me feel like I was stealing a phone. This you are not insurance. You are a scam. You asked so that's my thoughts. Sorry I had to go through so much. It made me feel like I would never want to go through this again. Good job with saving money, bad job at saving customers.

It was a horrible experience. I didn't get my phone forever and they lied about when their claim would be coming back through. Very overpriced, overpriced, overpriced. Very complicated paperwork. Took forever to get a hold of somebody.

I got what I wanted. It's just your website is so slow that I cannot confirm receipt of my phone. I have been trying for a while. The store would not give me a phone there so I had to wait for the mailed replacement. Because the NOTE7 is not available I had to get a totally new type of phone and none of my charge cables work which is frustrating. I have spent a lot of money to get the phone and accessories back to how I was before.

Thank you so much for being so prompt to handle our claim. In many years of having phones, we never had to use our insurance. Unfortunately my husband's phone got broke, but thank you for having a new one to us the very next day. We could not have asked for better service. We filed the claim in the late afternoon/early evening and a new one arrived at our home the next morning. I am very impressed and happy!!!

My daughter's phone broke and we needed it to be replaced. Filled out form online and didn't fill out right. Called the number. Spoke to a representative who gathered all the information and got a new phone for us. Very easy and the person that helped me was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable.

Everything has gone well with your company with other claims. This last one was confusing and a bit stressful. We sent in the damaged phone as instructed then got an email that the find my iPhone wasn't off. My daughter did it again, as she had done it prior to sending. Then I got a phone call it still wasn't done. We were unable to even find the phone in our cloud so I was concerned what had happened and if we'd be charged. I finally had to call and was told not to worry about it, there was a glitch in the computer updates and if we did it, it was fine. It was a lot of worry and messages for nothing.

The deductibles are a little high since you could walk in to any repair shop and pay slightly less without the $11/month for a cracked screen. The phone replacement costs is more reasonable at $149. The turnaround time for a claim was exceptionally fast and return defective item timeline was adequate. Overall pleased with the service.

Service was quick, I sent my signed documents and license and the response was rapid. I didn't like that I had to print out the paperwork. It should all be done online. But I had a phone within 3 days from losing my original phone.

The first people weren't helpful, then I got a hold of a gem of a person, took great care of me. Listened and solved the problem. The first two people just didn't have answers, the pixel is out of stock- Google can't handle demand? Finally, they gave us another suggestion that worked.

I had to use Asurion twice in one month and they did an awesome job. I have confidence that this was an added protection that is necessary to protect yourself from losses. I would recommend that all phone carriers have this in place because the phones are more fragile than advertised.

Other than cost great. You did not have my phone so I was upgraded. The edge is not a very steady phone. Nevertheless I have a phone. My new edge screen cracked the moment it came out the box. I was trying to put in the case and it cracked. I had to pay 35 dollars to get a better case but can't get a screen protector to fit with the case. The man in the store broke it trying to cover the phone with case. That being said it is what is.

I broke the screen on my iPhone and received a brand new replacement within a day of filing my claim. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the replacement I received as it was brand new, and in the past when I've received replacement devices they were refurbished and had body damage. This was a much better experience than the ones I've had in the past!

My wife use to teach computers at middle school and a severe auto accident and she became disabled. She bought a additional warranty for a HP laptop computer. The computer has never worked from the first day. She has spent countless hours on the phone with tech support having them take over the computer several times over the last 2-2 1/2 years. After fruitless attempts to fix the computer the techs would say to send in the computer. Well it has been sent in 4 time for repairs and of course doesn't count the countless times she has talked to the techs over the phone. Each time it would come back they said it was fixed only to have my wife spend more time on the phone and then sending it in again. Well it is going in again a 5th time.
Asurion is completely worthless as a warranty company in our opinion. When the warranty runs out next year we can use the laptop as a paperweight and have flushed about $600 down the drain on a computer that has NEVER WORKED. We've asked for our money back from HSN. We have asked for a new computer or our money back from Asurion and all they said is to send it in and they will fix it.

Ok, well the phone came on time and that was effortless and for that I thank you. Although the phone itself is horrible. I literally have to reboot it 9 times a day. You really need to test your refurbs before sending them out.

This refurbished phone is not like my other one, in the sense that I could walk all over my home with the Bluetooth and not get disconnected. With this one, I can be sitting right next to it and it will disconnect and sometimes reconnect. I truly am not pleased. The service was as stated, I received the device when expected and uploading my information was fairly simple.

I called one Friday and first customer service told me that he will sent my phone to my daughter apartment but we never get it. I called again and the second customer service was great and he check the first persons did all wrong. He fixed the problem and my daughter got the phone in the next day!!! Thank you!!!

Lost my phone and never found it again. I now leave ON my "Find My iPhone", feature. Then I paid my "high" deductible amount online using my debit card. I received my replacement phone at 10am the next morning. This is the second time I needed to use this insurance for a replacement phone and aside for the high costs, their service is great.
