I called to get a replacement phone after the screen cracked when I dropped my iPhone 6. I had no problem getting a replacement but as soon as I looked at it with my polarized sunglasses, I knew there was a problem. After doing some research, I realized that the screen was different from other screens so I called to get yet another replacement. I did have difficulty getting the support rep to understand that the screen I had isn't like the same screen on the iPhone 6 I sent back. She was adamant about how they couldn't tell what type of glass was used on each individual phones, so I asked for a supervisor. She understood my problem and actually offered to send an iPhone 6S which of course I agreed to. The 6S arrived, I mailed back the 6 and all is right with the world.
Best part? I LOVE the 6S! So many little features that aren't available on the 6. And, it's black/gunmetal which I also love (my previous was white). So, while it took some doing, I'm pleased to rate my experience a 5. Because going above and beyond customer expectations keeps you coming back - and, gives you credibility and good standing when speaking to others about Asurion.

The new phone arrived the next day and I was happy about that. The new phone is a piece of junk. The battery life is terrible it might last a half of a day. It does not accept my Mophie. It does not let me pair with any of my devices. In my mind, all you sent me was a phone that you received back and it looked good so you sent it to me to use. My overall experience is not very satisfied.

Asurion was great with my entire process! The communication with them was excellent. They guided me thru the process with ease to complete the transaction I needed to get my phone running again. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to have insurance on their phone.

Claim took several times to submit even with the help of a phone company. But was finally able to receive my phone after 2 attempts to put in my claim. Once claim was accepted phone was on backorder but was sent in a timely manner.

The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful. She was empathetic to my needs. My phone stopped working, and she was patient, while I followed her instructions. My phone came in the near day and, Verizon replaced my liquid screen protector for me.

Asurion provided a hassle free and speedy (next day) replacement of my Samsung Note 3. Unless one has the bucks lying around to fund their own replacement, this insurance should definitely be considered. I am a private individual who had the misfortune of buying a poorly designed holder, resulting in a dropped and broke phone.

Can someone please call me regarding the phone I received. I am experiencing a few problems with it. Unable to place on hold with other caller on the line. While someone was on hold accepted the other caller, the person on hold was conferenced in. While talking to someone the phone will dial another number.

Cellphone will not charge. Filed a claim. Will not charge and cracked screen. Asurion said "Not covered. Call carrier." Called Verizon. They called Asurion and transferred the call to me. Asurion wanted to know the date and time of the last call (my son's phone). I said I did not know and the phone is dead so I cannot check the call log. Asurion said the date and time would be verified with Verizon to approve the claim. Call ended. Called Verizon. Last call on the Verizon network was a week earlier than calls and messages made by my son through WIFI. So, if I know the exact time of the last WIFI call, Asurion would reject the claim because it does not match Verizon's record for the device. Cannot call Asurion directly to update or change a claim. Online claim cannot be changed. Need to talk to Verizon to contact Asurion rep. I will call Verizon after I submit this review. I am **.

I lost my phone which is totally out of character for me. I was devastated. Asurion made it extremely easy to get a replacement within 24 hours and the deductible was reasonable. The representative was sympathetic, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Every time I have used Asurion to replace a phone it has been awesome. I receive it on time and the correct product and it is quick and easy. The website is easy to use. If there has ever been a problem with the form submission, the site directed me to the correct area to complete the claim. Great job. Keep up the good work.

While the replacement process was quick and easy, I have had too many issues with charging the phone you sent me as well as screen time out issues and would like to have it replaced since it's been less than 30 days. This would seem to be reasonable.

I damaged my phone when I washed a coat with the phone in one of the pockets. I contacted Asurion and a new phone was sent out. Unfortunately, the first phone was defective and I had to request a second phone. The second phone arrived one day later. Replacement phone is working perfectly.

I was very pleased and surprised with the quick service. I called in my claim around 2:00 pm and received a new phone by noon the next day. Also was a very easy process to turn in the claim. Very good service. I would recommend phone insurance to all of my friends.

First requested that they come to the house to replace the screen on the iPhone; first agent kept calling to push back his appt. and finally just didn't come. Rescheduled for next day and the second agent called and asked to come early – he showed up on time and after he left he had apparently damaged the iPhone so now we're waiting for a new iPhone in the mail. Buying insurance on a phone that still requires you to pay $79 for a screen replacement isn't much of a deal anyway. When the techs don't show up on time and then they damage your iPhone it makes me wish I hadn't bought the insurance.

I lost my device, with the sim card removed... Asurion denied my claim because my sim card was active in another device. It seems this is NOT device protection, but instead SIM card protection. Account activity and SIM card usage has nothing to do with my phone having been lost, and none of the resellers make customers aware of this; if you share a SIM between multiple devices, chances are you will be denied once you lose the device which is under protection... These thieves took hundreds of dollars from me over the years, and deny my first claim EVER because my SIM was in another device?!? You Suck, ASS-URION!

I dropped my phone face down and not only was the screen cracked but the device was unusable. Asurion made the process very easy to follow from the Verizon website, and I got a replacement phone in less than 24 hours. Much better experience than I had expected.

The associate was very helpful in getting out a new phone to me. However, I was not informed that a 32g would be replacing my 64g Note phone. I still do not understand how they are compatible. My new phone looks nice but have problem pushing the screen to make selections to use phone a lot. Thanks.

Within a few days the phone started glitching! It doesn't stay on all the time and already has a crack even with a protective cover. It is slow moving and takes forever to catch up. Sometimes the screens pixelates and I can't see what's going on.

I was sent the wrong power charger. I was sent the old power charger for a generic phone. It charges at a slow speed and takes hours to charge my phone. I wish I was sent the right charger, then I could have given you a perfect score.

I received the replacement phone on time, but unfortunately I am having issues with sound/volume with the phone. Most of my calls I can't hear the phone ringing on the other end or the person talking. I cannot turn on the extra volume. The only way I can hear the person on the other end is to talk to them using a Bluetooth headset. I tried to call Asurion about the issue but I needed to call them from a device other than my phone which is easier said than done for me. To be fair I had other dealings with Asurion without any issues but this time I am left unsatisfied.

Customer Service was really sincere and professional. 1 problem I have is with the actual product, the iPhone 6. The first phone I got I had problem with the signal on the phone. You folks sent me another iPhone, which I'm having problems with this phone as well. The new iPhone you sent me, the screen freezes. Very annoying. This happens every time I navigate through emails or messages or internet. Please help me solve this dilemma.

I was told I would have a replacement the next day. It was actually almost 48 hours later. The process was very easy to go through and I am glad I had the plan to cover unexpected problems. Even with problems downloading data from the old phone and a delay returning it, Asurion was patient.

I did not have to wait days for phone (samsung s7 edge). Customer service is polite and understood my problems and resolved the issues and received a new phone in one day deliver and I sent the damaged phone in a special package. And since then I have not had another issue.

Ordered new phone on Tuesday. Received it on Wednesday but now it's messed up now too. And no one wants to help me out to get a new phone. Will be calling on Monday morning and this problem will be solved with Asurion sending me a new phone out to me. When you pay over $700 for iPhone 6s plus and get insurance on it Asurion should send out a new phone not a refurbish piece of crap. Will be waiting for a response from Asurion?

I recently had to replace my phone and the battery that was provided with the new device doesn't work. My phone dies immediately and I have tried contacting Asurion but get no response. It's a bummer to have to pay a deductible but yet received another damaged item. Please help me resolve this & I will be glad to provide the 5 stars deserved especially with such fast shipping!

The replacement phone that you sent to me does not work. So far, there are only two phone numbers from which I can receive incoming calls, my wife's phone, and my son's phone. All other phone numbers that have tried to call me on my replacement phone, do not connect with my phone. My phone rings when someone is calling, but when I answer the phone, either no one is there, or if they are there, I cannot hear anything they are saying, and they can't hear me talking. So every time someone tries to call me, I have to call them back to talk to them. I can make outgoing calls to those phone numbers, but I cannot receive calls from any of those numbers, with the exception of my wife's phone and my son's phone. It is significantly inconvenient for me to not be able to receive phone calls. Some of the calls to me have come from Doctor's offices who are following up with me following a recent surgery I had.
I took the phone to the Verizon store but they haven't been able to correct the problem, and I'm not even sure they care too much about the problem. It's almost like I am paying insurance for the phone, but getting no benefit from the insurance plan. It has been a very disappointing process. Do you stand behind your service and products, or am I just out of luck in regards to insurance coverage for phone service?

I just cancelled my iPhone insurance plan with Asurion. I've paid $12/month for years and as a result, what I got in return from Asurion was my iPhone account locked out for five days. And quietly too, no text message, email or phone call. I didn't realize there was a problem until a client emailed me to say they couldn't reach me by phone. So I called Verizon to see what had happened and they advised me that Asurion had listed my phone, the one still sitting on my desk, as lost or stolen and locked the account. They told me I'd have to call Asurion to get it removed from the block list.
I call Asurion and find out that someone had called Asurion and reported my phone as lost or stolen. Asurion, without spending any time verifying this was a legitimate claim, sent a new phone to the caller and disabled my NOT lost or stolen phone. I guess no one got suspicious that the registered owner of the phone, me, lives on the east coast but the caller wanted the phone shipped to the midwest. I finally convince Asurion that I have my phone and that they have a fraudulent claim on their hands. As a result, they tell me they've removed the phone from the block list but I will have to call Verizon to reactivate the phone. Great system, they can automatically kill the phone but they can't bring it back online.
Ok, so everyone makes mistakes, no big deal just because my clients can't reach me for three days. As instructed, I call Verizon to get the phone reactivated. They tell me the phone is listed as lost or stolen, I give them a recap of the Asurion call. Verizon puts me on hold while THEY call Asurion. When they get back, they tell me, per Asurion, it will take 24-48 hours to remove the block. I later find out that Asurion speaks a different form of English, when they say 24-48, they mean 48 hours, kind of. I tried getting it reactivated after 24 hours with no luck and was told to wait at least another 24 hours.
A total of 48 hours later, I call Verizon to reactive the phone. I'm told for some reason, maybe a SIM problem, after an hour on the phone, they can't reactivate it. I lose signal and have to call back again later (the phone works for *611 calls). I speak to another rep who calls Asurion and speaks to another genius there. The genius tells Verizon the phone is on the lost or stolen list and it will take 24-48 hours to get the SIM released. I point out to Verizon that it has been 48 hours and the phone is off the list, per the previous Verizon rep. They check and confirm it is no longer on the list. I get transferred to another rep at Verizon. After an additional 30 minutes, she finally manages to get my phone reactivated.
So I ask myself, how did I lose five days of phone service, possibly a client or two, and at least four hours of my time talking to Asurion and Verizon. The answer; because I was stupid enough to buy Asurion insurance for my phone. Had I NOT bought the insurance, the thief in the friendly midwest could not have put a claim in that deactivated my phone. I've spent more in Asurion payments, wasted time and aggravation than it would cost to replace two iPhones without insurance. Lesson learned!!

The time it took to turn around my damaged phone with a new one was remarkably fast! My only suggestion is that help transferring data could have been available. While I was able to save photos, I lost calendar information that was quite important.

I was very displeased. I paid 199.00 dollars for a refurbished phone. First one that was sent didn't work. I had to wait for second one to arrived. The second one again was refurbished. And the battery does not last as long as it suppose to.

I was sent a refurbished telephone first. It did not hold a charge. That was replaced after two people at your organization tried to run tests on it. That took hours. I was unhappy because I expected a new phone not a used phone. I also was unhappy that the replacement did not include a good battery. So far as I know that phone you sent me is new. It looks new. I'm also not sure the battery holds any better than the one I returned. It doesn't seem to.

The phone is great. The 6 phone calls, the headaches and the run around that we got was AWFUL!!! We had 1 lady the was more than EXTREMELY rude and made it very difficult. Not sure we will ever do anything with Asurion again. Make sure they get staff that knows what they are doing and want to be there. Don't employ RUDE people.

I lost my phone one week after I bought it. Filed a claim with Asurion after a complete search everywhere I had been. They approved my claim in 5 minutes and mailed me a new phone that day. My phone arrived the next day. That is fast service. Thank you.

My replacement phone was refurbished and the prior issue of the phone was left unfixed. The phones app button constantly clicks on its own. This often makes using the phone difficult. Especially when it comes to texting, emailing, and gaming which is the whole point of having a phone!

I received my phone within 24 hours in order to conduct business with very little downtime. My replacement phone and activation went smoothly and, I had a very positive experience. Best part of using Asurion is that I can complete online questions and be granted a replacement all online, without calling or waiting on hold to talk to anyone.

I did not get help. Those online people who are supposed to help you, didn't help me at all. It took over 2 weeks for me to get my phone. Didn't give me the option to change the style so I could get another one. Not happy with the service. I've phones replaced before but this was the worst experience so far.

Phone is junk, freezes and back is scratched. Such an obvious remand phone definitely not work. The deductible phone just keeps freezing and you can tell this isn't the OE screen. The shipping and claim process was mint. The phone is just pure crap... You can definitely tell this phone was slapped together.

Service took longer than I expected. I went to Verizon with phone & complaint, they directed me to your online service. Once claim was file, received phone in 2-3 days not 24 hours. Overall it was just ok. 3.5 stars. I wish this could be handle more promptly by the stores.

I'm active duty and I stay on a military base. And they said that they can't deliver it on a military base and that I need to find another address. So when I gave them the address that I stay in they took it and still deliver on a military base. Just don't lie.

I was very surprised at how simple making a claim was. I was equally impressed with the quality of service I received. In the past (quite a while back) filing a claim and receiving a new device took FOREVER! This phone came the next day. WOW!

The phone that I received makes weird crazy broken sounds when I use certain apps. And the screen has a small crack in the top right corner. I just accepted it because I cannot be without a phone. The phone does function properly but the minor crack is very annoying.

Wireless charging does not work, remain battery not up to full capacity, paperwork was way too much / complicated, cost more than having repaired locally. Next time we'll keep our phones in town and have it repaired locally. Only good thing was shipping was fast.

I dropped my phone on our concrete walk and it would no longer work. I contacted Asurion and was informed about the process of replacing my phone. I had my new phone within 24 hours. I followed the directions included with my new phone and was all set up within minutes. I only gave 4 stars because I thought that since I was paying for insurance, my replacement phone should have cost me nothing!

I received my replacement device and have had nothing but problems with it. The firewall was down and my phone has been hacked. I am now receiving calls saying that I have called them and I am getting calls from all over the United States.

My Touch ID stopped working on my iPhone and it was interruptive enough to warrant me filing a claim and paying the $112 deductible. The process was easy to do online. My replacement arrived the next day. I switched phones. The replacement phone flickered at the top and the screen froze often. I don't mind receiving a refurbished phone but they obviously lack quality control. I called and they apologized and are sending me another one. If this one too is fails to function many more AT&T customers will hear from me. I would have been better off saving my own $8 in a savings account and purchasing a factory refurbished phone. I'm suspicious all they do is swap phones and collect our money. If you have AT&T insurance. Cancel now. Get Apple Care... or just don't get insurance at all.

Did a good job on phone replacement and good on replacing the replacement. My problem is no email return. No replacement screen protector for 2nd replacement (just bought a new one and put it on replacement phone). Had phone for less than 24 hours. I feel since I had to get a 2nd replacement because the first one went out in the first 24 hours due to something wrong with the phone that was not caused by me, Asurion should replace my screen protector for 2nd replacement. Have had 2nd phone for close to a month or so and still no returned email. IF Y'ALL (ASURION) READ THIS I WOULD LIKE A NEW SCREEN PROTECTOR. Thank you.

Had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement device. The Pixel XL was on backorder. Had to settle for just the Pixel vs. the XL model. Advertised as "replacement as soon as 24 hours". Bought the insurance to transfer risk. Very disappointing that Asurion does not have devices on hand but waits for an claim to be filed to get a device. I notified that I was willing to settle for a different device and they did not notify me that it was in stock. I had to call them. Got cut off several times.

I got the phone which I'm sure is reconditioned and the battery is horrible. My other iPhone 7 Plus would last almost all day. This one less than half. I need a new one please. Asurion was great to have same price as the local break it fix it places +$15 but quicker return. The only thing is UPS we've had problems with. There was a delivery delay due to weather but we were able to see that with the tracking. All in all decent and worth the $150 for replacement phone.

I got my replacement quickly. It just doesn't work properly. The battery life is less than acceptable. The phone lags and freezes quite frequently. Overall, I'd say that these problems warrant a device replacement free of charge. My first and probably last iPhone experience hasn't been a good one.

Paying for the insurance is the best decision we made because one of the cell phone user is 8 yrs. old and is very rough on his cell phone. The cases are suppose to be safety cases but somehow he's always testing them accidentally.

I bought the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge the day after they became available. I replaced the edge at about 9 months old, it fell out of my pocket and cracked both sides of the phone. After the initial shock of the deductible I filed a claim and had my new phone within 24 hours (and I filed the claim after 5 p.m.). That experience was great. A couple of months later my edge was practically destroyed, claim process was easy right up until I was informed that the edge would not be available for 7 to 12 days. So I called my phone carrier and explained to customer service that I'm paying quite a bit of money every month to have these phones and if they did like to keep receiving that money then they needed to help fix this problem. Five minutes on hold and I was transferred back to Asurion and this rep informed me I could get an s7, not the edge, and still have it next day. So I did since I needed the phone.
Still have 2 s7 phones was told if I wanted to send the phone back and say I was unsatisfied they would send me another phone... edge if available. If not who knows what phone I would get... and since I'm paying a monthly fee on each phone I'm a little upset to be paying a higher charge for a s7 edge and not having an edge. 3 stars because 1 good experience and 1 poor. First replacement phone didn't work. Second replacement phone works, but the screen isn't even connected to the phone, so you have to hold it down to get it to work. Tired of dealing with it. If I had known I was paying for insurance only to get used/so called refurbished phones, I would never have paid for insurance all this time.

It was kind of a hassle at first. They need an easier way to do a claim. But overall wasn't nothing anybody can't figure out. However the phone I got replaced is brand new and people say they can barely hear me all the time or says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel which I'm disappointed cause it's a new phone and it replaced a new phone that I only owned a week.

In the short time the refurbished phone that was provided has been a total disappointment. When I received the phone there was a small piece missing on the ear speaker. Both buttons have fallen off the side so it's no longer easy to change volume. Afraid to let it shut off cause power button was the other to go. I expected a phone of better quality. This was the third time I have been let down on this line. Very dissatisfied.

My experience was horrible. I have a Galaxy S7 that is supposed to be water-resistant up to 5' for 30 mins. My replacement phone was SPLASHED with water and it died. Asurion has made me pay my $149 deductible again for a replacement. I was told it voided the warranty because it got wet! It's supposed to be able to get wet! Horrible service that doesn't stand by their product.

Phone replacement was overall all a pretty easy process. I called, paid my deductible, and my phone was on the way within 2 days, I was back up and running. I just wish I could had gotten the same phone I had but they no longer stocked the model. Place old phone in package to return it, dropped it off at the post office and I was done. It saved me $150 I would had to have paid if I upgraded earlier.

I have never in my life been through so much trouble trying to replace a broken cell phone. This phone belongs to a Granddaughter and my husband and I have been put through hell trying to replace it. We even went to four AT&T stores trying to get them to help us with it. They tried each time. I spent hours on the phone and the computer trying to resolve the issue. I had this happen last year and was super satisfied with how everything was handled. This time, I was disappointed at how much extra time and how many hoops had to be jumped through to get my phone. It wasn't horrible by any means. But it took longer and required more steps than last time. I don't know if this is related to a change in procedure, but any customer who has done this before will not be prepared for the extra steps and time, which usually leads to some frustration.

Too stupid to want to relive, but I actually threw my phone into the trash receptacle just before pick up. I was able to track it in the belly of the garbage truck as it went throughout the neighborhood but knew it was irretrievably. Asurion came through and I had a new phone within 24 hours! My screen was broken. All I needed was a replacement. You guys got my info wrong so tech cooks to replace screen, so then you sent me a refurbished phone that was just a mess. I had a rude representative when I called in about it. Finally you sent a brand new phone that works. I was told how to turn off my find my phone on both returned phones which I did, and then got a scary email that I was going to be charged 500$ because I hadn't followed instructions. Checked my icloud and none of my devices were hooked up to find my phone, called and was told I was sent email on error. Just a total nightmare.

To start, in June 2016 I bought the Fisher Price product off from Walmart.com, along with an Asurion 3 year warranty. About a week ago (March 2017) a part broke on the atv that is covered by Asurion. I call Walmart and they agree that it's Asurion's place to honor bought warranty. Walmart rep gets me over to Asurion where I'm then told by the rep that yes they cover it but I need to have Fisher price cover it as it's still in first year manufacturing warranty. So I ask, "Well then, do you postdate the warranty to start after the manufacturer's warranty?" The asurion rep replied "no, it will end 3 years from purchase date" so basically asurion is being paid for 3 years but only actually cover 2 years.
That is an atrocious act of fraud and thievery. To make it worse when I told them I wanted a refund because I didn't want any warranty from a company like Asurion the rep said "sure write a letter saying you don't want services anymore and I'll give you the mailing address". A letter? I mean this is the digital age and they want me to send a letter for them to start the process of canceling my warranty where they will then prorate the time June 2016-April 2017 which during that time they actually denied the only service I needed, this was a covered part by the warranty. It's pretty clear Asurion has made a process that takes your money then denies you service, and then they practically refuse to give your money back. Never do business with Asurion. This is a scammer company.

The screen has dead spots and doesn't hold a charge for a full day. I've used Asurion for years, this is the first time I've felt like we didn't get a fair deal.

Everything went as promised. I got the replacement phone quickly. Had to call in to CS because I thought I waited too long to send back old phone. CS was superb. Friendly and efficient. Had some trouble finding help on website before deciding to call. The Track Return option, which seemed to be the only place to verify my non-return charge date, lead me back to the submit claim page. All in all very happy every time I've used the service, which has been a lot. Worth the cost of keeping insurance active.

And the phone reception is not as good as as the original phone. We bought insurance for my daughter's iPhone, trying to ensure that no matter what happens, our investment will be covered. So, when the screen cracked, we filed a claim. It all seemed so easy. Filed the claim online, made the appointment online, good to go. Until, during our appointment window the gentleman who was supposed to repair the phone called and said they had no screens and none on order. He told me I would have to pay $200 for a new phone rather than the $80 to repair it. I refused, as I found that unacceptable. He told me to call Asurion and see when phone screens would be in.
I called, and if you are thinking "bait and switch" you are right. Patty, the customer service rep, told me that they've only been doing phone screens for a year and this is new to them. She said my new phone would be here tomorrow, to which I told her she had not been authorized to charge me for a new phone. I explained to her that this would be like my car insurance company saying they don't have a fender in stock so I have to buy a new car. I asked to speak to a manager.
My customer care representative was even worse, telling me Patty was being proactive in sending me to customer care. I explained I asked to be transferred and that I was struggling to understand how this was not a bait and switch. She told me it wasn't their problem and that they actually were not covering the cracked screen and that I would have to buy a new phone, but fortunately for me I had insurance so I only had to pay $200. Are you mad yet, because I sure am. It was even less fun when she was on the phone because she must have been working from home and her dogs were barking up a storm.
This company is disgusting, preying on people and refusing to hold up their end of the bargain. I intend to file a complaint with my state's insurance department, in the hopes that they can work to stop people from getting scammed. They are honestly nauseating and could not care less about their customers. But at least they let people work from home, and her dogs were happy.

Absolutely great after sending a defective phone the first time. I received another one without issues. So far so good. This insurance is a great idea. However, refurbished phone should not be sent when you are paying for another phone. It only lead to another issue down the line.

This company is a ** joke!!! How hard can they make it to get a replacement phone?! DNA swabs? Fingerprints? Social security card and birth certificates? Jesus ** Christ!? To make a long story short I ended up having to go to AT&T to get an affidavit, filled it out, and sent it in. I checked the following day and there was no open claim!!! So I had to do it all over again and when I called Asurion to complain I was obviously upset the ** hung up on me!!! My first claim for my son's phone went smoothly then all the sudden just to verify I am me this is been a nightmare! Just give me my ** phone. I have business to conduct!!! Killing me!

I dropped my LG V20 and cracked the screen. Took it to a Sprint repair shop because my total protection insurance stated for phone repair take it in store. The salesperson gave the phone to the repair tech. She came back with my phone and said she cannot have it fixed. The V20 is not on the list of serviceable phones. I need to call Asurion to have it fixed. I Called Asurion to get the phone fixed. Found out I have to pay a 200$ deductible... I billed Sprint this charge, added it to my bill. Was told it would take 3 to 5 days. I checked back and the phone is on backorder and might take longer than 2 weeks... This is not acceptable.
I was told I might get a refurb or a new one to replace. Then it got me thinking. So I'm going to pay an extra 200$ to fix a cracked screen and send this phone back so Asurion can replace the screen and some poor Joe will have to fork out 200$ and end up with my fixed refurb... I'm sure replacing the screen is less than 200$... On top of that the insurance you pay covers nothing. If you pay 13$ for insurance a month for a year to cover dropping it or theft your cost is 156$ but that 156$ covers nothing because you have to pay 200$ to have it fixed... So why even have insurance? All of this nonsense over a cracked screen. And the screen is not even that badly cracked.

My experience was good and the quality of new phone was good. The last replacement phone my mom received was not even the same phone she had so I was skeptical. The phone was delivered promptly. I ordered the phone on Saturday and received the phone Monday before noon.

I received the tablet very fast, however the return shipping envelope does not fit a tablet, it's for a phone so I have not sent back the broken device yet. I will be calling to find out how I'm supposed to mail this device back.

I would recommend a friend. The process was easy to follow & responses were quick. Turning iCloud off of damaged phone was the only issue. It was done but multiple messages were received saying it had not been done & that I would be charged $500.

My phone had been badly cracked and the camera lens was completely shattered. I contacted Asurion and qualified for a replacement device. Now my phone was purchase brand new from Verizon and had for the most part great battery life, my new phone from Asurion seems to be lacking a little bit in terms of how long it remains charged. Also I needed a new charger and the charger I was sent was not a refurbished charger but a third party charged which does not support fast charge on the galaxy s7. As far as I'm aware they aren't required to send you a fast charge supported charger only a standard one so I won't complain but it should be noted it takes considerably longer to charge on this third party charger. I did receive my phone the next day however and am overall satisfied.

I've used your services three times since 2011. Customer service is excellent and the representatives are very knowledge (doesn't sound like they're just reading what's on the computer screen), and very friendly. Replacement phones are delivered on time. Each experience I've had has been stress-free. The only downfall is the $199 deductible. You guys are awesome.

Replacing the phone was accurate and on time. The only thing I couldn't comprehend was my phone had a cracked screen with no other damage. There is one of your repair facilities 10 minutes from my house and your personnel refused to just let me replace the screen, they insisted on replacing the entire phone. For you it would have been more economical and for me... less hassle getting my new phone back to where it was.

Phone was replace with a cheaper phone. Was told the only difference was the shatterproof screen. The new one wouldn't have it. But come to find out I went from 64 to 32 memory. Wasn't too happy about that... Got my phone when promised though.

First of all, it took many phone calls with you to answer my question and I had to wait on the line for a long time to get service in the first place. Online help equally unhelpful. When all was said and done, the phone I received from you is extremely glitchy and the battery life is horrendous. I have been telling others that your service is disgraceful and unsatisfying as well.

Phone was lost in an 18 wheeler rollover accident. Personal items tossed all over in 4 feet of salty mud. Contacted Asurion a few days later in the evening and the new phone showed up by 9:00 a.m. the next morning! Very impressed.

I broke my screen and it was replaced quickly. I did it online, it was easy to follow instructions. I received my new phone quickly and packaging to send back my old phone. It also has a 1 year warranty in case something goes wrong. Loved it!

Charged me 300 for a damaged phone I sent back. I gave it to the mailman and have no clue what happened to it after that. I paid my insurance faithfully and paid 200 deductible. They say I have to find the mailman from a month ago. Absolutely ridiculous. The phone screen was shattered and phone unusable, why would I not send it back. I will be disputing the charge on my card.

My phone was stolen while we were on vacation, and not staying very long in one place. I reported the claim to Verizon at about 10 pm and they suggested I call Asurion to start the claim process as soon as possible. I called the phone number they gave me and the recording suggested doing the claim online. Since it was so late at night I was temped to wait until the next day but then went ahead and completed the claim online which was very, very easy. When I woke up the next morning I had a message that my new phone was on the way. By 1:30 pm that day, my new phone was delivered to the office of the RV park we were staying in. A half hour later my phone was set up and ready to use. I couldn't believe it happened so quickly!

Overall this was a straightforward and positive experience with 1 caveat. We have gone online and disabled all devices connected with this phone # but I have still received 2 messages that it was not done. I am very concerned because of the very steep $500 charge (more than a new phone) if the "find my phone" app on the old phone is not disabled. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me to confirm this step had been completed.

It was very inconvenient because I had to go to Apple Store to find out the problem but it was just the device having a problem... I thought it was used phone?? The process was fast and easy. Got my phone very quickly and was easy setup and to send back. But now not even a month after having this new iPhone that I paid $100 for is not making phone calls. Freezes and both ends cannot be heard. I've never had issues like this until I got a new phone. At this point I would rather have a cracked screen.

It took 3 faxes and 2 emails to confirm my identity from 8:47am until 4:30pm. Once Asurion confirmed who I was I got my phone the next day. Then began receiving emails and calls for Find My iPhone being on when it had been removed by a Verizon tech and checked all 3 - app iCloud and find my iPhone and it was already removed. Was threatened with a $500 charge if it wasn't turned off, and had to deal with this over a week of explaining no other iPhone but the one I had was linked. Any CSR I spoke with were not very friendly or helpful.

I wish there was an alternative to the Pixel, that you'd offer. I pay some much a month and still have to dish out $149 for a replacement. :( It take 2 months for a replacement to become available. I received the replacement phone within 12 hours of requesting the replacement.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 inexplicably stopped connecting to any USB. This meant no ability to charge the phone, among other things. I went to the Sprint store that same day; their technicians said they could not fix the problem because the connection port was corroded, possibly from moisture. Good thing I have a full device protection plan with extra coverage for water damage, right?
They gave me Asurion's number. I called and was instructed to fill out a claim online. I tried to fill out a claim online. It said "You have to go to a store for this." Right – I'm at the store. Finally got a rep on the phone who said my device was out of stock but for $200 I'd get one in 3-5 business days. I informed them 1) I'm in a store surrounded by these devices and 2) that I cannot go that long without a device as it's my primary means for clients to contact me as well as a training tool for remote demonstrations for the product I support. They said "You can no longer get in-store replacements" and suggested I ask the store for a loaner. The store informed me they only provides loaners for devices they can fix. (At this point I hung up before I said anything I'd regret.)
I then went back online and got a new rep via IM. This one said the $200 would be waived since I'd been a customer for nearly 20 years but it'd still be 3-5 days. I bought a wireless charger so I could at continue to use the phone in a limited capacity. After 8 straight days of robo calls telling me my device was still not in stock, I spoke to another rep who told me I was misinformed about the 3-5 days and that it's really 10-14 days.
The new option was "Go back to the store, buy a new device and we'll reimburse you." but with no indication as to how quickly the re-reimbursement would take (important when you're considering at $600+ phone) or if would even be possible to do since I lease and don't own the phone. There has GOT to be a better option than this sham of an insurance company. I've never had this level of difficulty, delay or run-around with even auto or home insurance. I am rethinking my entire approach to cellular service so I can work with a carrier that doesn't use Asurion.

Tried doing the replacement online but had no luck. Then while attempting to do it via the phone, somehow my explanation of what was lost got misconstrued. I did get my S7 edge replaced but not the Mophie case I had. No big deal but, I did pay in excess of $100 for the case.

Process was extremely unfriendly and difficult to navigate. After being told that the issue I was having with my phone was not a manufacturer's defect by the phone maker, I attempted to file a claim. The Asurion automated claim system rejected the claim stating that it was a manufacturer's defect. Once I was able to speak with a representative I was told that the claim would be covered, but that Asurion did not have my phone in stock, so it would take a week to 10 business days for my phone to be replaced.
I rely on my phone for my business. I was forced to purchase a cheap ($300) replacement phone until my phone was replaced. My phone ended up being replaced in about 3 days, much faster than the rep had stated, but still not as quickly as Asurion claims and still too long for my business. After paying my deductible and the charges for getting the temporary replacement, and the monthly charge for the insurance I am pretty sure I would be better off not having the Asurion coverage and simply paying full price to replace the phone.
