This is the 2nd time I have filed a claim and I have had defective phones shipped out. The 1st time, I ended up getting 3 replacements, and now this time I need to call Verizon and get a replacement for this one. The phone keeps restarting for no reason. We have done factory resets and there are no apps on the phone.

Not satisfied with replacement. It gets very hot, keeps dropping calls & the keyboard keeps sticking when I type. I sometimes have to touch multiple times before the key I am touching actually registers. I've been meaning to call. Just been so busy. I need to return this device. Please advise next step.

Lost phone replacement was very prompt (overnight) and user information was understandable. I could not reinstate all my information on my - but that was not related to Asurion's or Verizon's service- just letting the average user know what to expect. I went to a Verizon store to get everything set up and download all of my stored information. They were very helpful and I was amazed at what was recovered - even my text messages and notes! Within two days it was like I never lost my phone.

My phone was recently stolen and was replaced immediately after I paid my part. Good service! The only delay was that I had to come up with an unexpected cost. But it was worth doing. I have to have my primary device. The local store helpful as well. They advised me on how to lock out the other device by suspending the service.

The process online was relatively easy. I was impressed with the ability to have my replacement phone shipped to my location the next day, where I was on vacation. Especially, since it was rather late in the evening when I placed my order. Definitely worth the price of the insurance for the convenience.

This Google Pixel is the first phone in 20 years that I've ever needed to file an insurance claim for. That's because I didn't take my usual measures to ensure that I am properly strong, cleaning, and caring for my phone. I took off my case to clean my phone and dropped my phone face down. The screen cracked, but it was still usable. I filed a claim and the device was on backorder. Asurion communicated with me everyday (using their automatic system) to let me know the status of my backordered phone. Once I was notified that my phone was back in stock (about 3 weeks later), I had my replacement device sent to my workplace and was up and running in less than 48 hours. There was little to no downtime in service.

Easy to file a claim. Sent overnight. Set up was easy and user friendly. Return process was simple. Submitted claims before and everything has been smooth and easy. Did it online this time instead of calling. That was a very user friendly site. Just would be one logged in, your phone specs would also be available.

The phone arrived very quickly. Within 5 days it started rebooting constantly. I called and explained, Asurion said another (New) not refurbished phone would take awhile? Had already been 12 days. When I called again I was offered a new Google Pixel, I was anxious to get back on track, had been using old 3G phone. Again very fast service. Happy to have Asurion. Getting use to different phone now.

Lost my phone. When I followed Find my phone the app took me right to my phone. In the middle of a highway run over several times by a car. I was thrilled I had purchased insurance. Asurion sent me a new phone the next day. Very Happy!!!

Very easy process, very fast and positive response and replacement with no trouble at all. In fact, the replacement phone arrived by FedEx within about *15 hours* of initiating the process, and on a Saturday AM. Phone model was not exactly the same, and color options were limited, but it was a several year old model, and there was a reasonable color option with at least the same specs, so that was ok.

Mail in old iPhone received replacement and put in my old SIM card back online. Thanks! My deductible was $150 to receive new phone. It should have been free. I am paying monthly fees for 2 devices iPad and iPhone. This was my only real concern in regards to the replacement.

Asurion met all my expectations. I received my new device in a timely manner. From there, my local Verizon store help get my iPhone replacement set up. And then all I had to do was put the damaged one in the return envelope Asurion provided. Very easy to do.

Getting my replacement phone was fast and easy--much easier than expected. The only problem I had was with my phone company (Verizon), not Asurion. They weren't very helpful when I asked what I needed to do to completely reactivate my new phone.

The first phone I was given shut off every several hours despite being charged and was difficult to turn back on. The second replacement phone has a battery life of 1.5 hours. Overall, the quality of the replacement phones was poor.

Had to request a second phone due to first one that was sent was defective too. Customer service was able to pull up my claim and I had a new phone the very next day. The deductible is a little high but it beats having to purchase a brand new phone and still have to pay for the defective one. Customer service was great.

I have not been impressed with my refurbished iPhone 6. My phone has a hum when making calls and receiving calls. When on conversations I am often told that I sound like I am muffled bad. People that I am speaking to can hear the humming sound as well.

Excellent customer service to satisfy customer need and concern. I initially didn't had a good device but was later asked for return and then was sent a new device with increased storage capacity. Customer service was very good and was highly satisfied how they took care of customer.

I could not be more impressed. After my old phone broke I thought I would have to settle for a refurbished model, but nope!! Before 24 hours after the phone broke, my brand new phone was sitting on the steps outside.

The people I worked with were great. The phone came promptly. My only concern is that the replacement phone didn't work that well. It wasn't physically broken or anything but the phone constantly dropped calls when my original phone never did. The reception/antenna didn't seem to work as well. You could tell it was refurbished. Hence minus 2 stars.

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. When I called to make a claim my phone was no longer available so they upgraded me for free to the newer model. The replacement arrived very quickly (a day or two at most) and the return of my damaged device was super easy. Would definitely recommend.

I filed a claim to replace my damaged S7 Edge and was told I had to submit a affidavit and that my claim could not be process so I had to pay to get this form printed out, complete it and pay to get it and my lD scanned in order to upload to you. The entire process was a hassle and if I had a choice to use a different service I would but unfortunately you are the company Verizon uses. I rate your services a 0 stars but 1 is the Minimum I can give.

For a week, I continued to have problems with the system that Asurion has. It was not telling me the information I needed in order to complete my claim. When asked to speak to a supervisor kindly and using "please," I was instead hung up on multiple times. I was very disappointed with the little amount of help I had received. It wasn't until I went back into the Verizon store that a Verizon representative called Asurion in order to get a replacement phone. It was very frustrating, representatives were not helpful and rude.

The replacement itself was very quick and painless. However the first replacement I received I could not hear the other person during phone calls or voice mail unless on speaker. Troubleshooting did not help. Sent back iPhone. On second replacement phone battery drains very quickly. I am a little skeptical about the quality of the refurbished phones that are sent out.

If I could give them zero, then I would. It better off you report your device lost than damage. In the process of return your device and post office lost your device, they still hold you responsible for the device and charge you for unreturned device. Their policy is cover damage/lost/stolen, but in case post office lost your device, they won't cover that part. I always have problem with them in some other way. They just trying to charge whatever they can. So through with them. SquareTrade insurance is a lot better with their service.

Well, when I got this replacement phone I was under the impression that it would actually work. The phone takes about 10 hours to charge completely, not mention the phone gets insanely hot if I do anything while it's charge. The phone's speaker worked for about a week then suddenly it just stopped working, I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Audio doesn't work when I take videos, all you hear is a buzzing sound. I have sent a couple emails and got no response. I deserve a NEW phone that actually works for more than a week.

I was at first frustrated that they sent me a cellphone envelope for the tablet to be returned. Once we established what needed to be done to correct the problem, I was properly instructed on how to return the tablet and did so the next day. The rep was very helpful and the issue was resolved in a professional manner.

After having insurance (see paying for) for 3 years I had to file two claims in within the span of two months. Once I dropped my phone and cracked the screen the next time I dropped it in water. They put a hold on my claim, EVEN after telling them I was in an on-call medical profession and COULD NOT be without my phone. The hold further delayed getting the appt. I need to get it fixed. So now, I have a hold, for no reason, then I have to wait to get the appt. which I'm sure will take a few days and then I'll have my phone fixed, after paying the deductible... AND if you file more than 2 claims a year they cancel your policy!!! Save your money and time, don't pay for this service.

I received a replacement phone that was worse than my broken one. I had to get ANOTHER replacement and it didn't work either. It hung up on on calls after 34 seconds. This was very frustrating. I finally wound up buying out the remaining payments and purchasing a different phone to replace it. Basically, insurance didn't help me at all. I would NOT ever recommend your company.

Representative was professional and courteous. I received my duplicate phone within days. Very satisfied. However the Verizon staff at the store was incompetent and could not retrieve photos or contacts off of the damaged phone, a Co-worker did that for me. All they want to do is sell you a new phone. Verizon staff is high pressure and condescending.

Because we had all of the paperwork re: the insurance we had taken when purchasing the phone, there was no question about replacement. Everyone involved was most helpful and professional. The new phone arrived in short order. The directions about sending the damaged phone were clear, and it was helpful that packaging for the return was included in the packaged new phone. We are grateful for the insurance and would recommend to anyone that they pay the small charge to avoid a much larger cost of having to buy a replacement at full cost. Thanks to all.

Last month my apartment was broken into and many of my belongings were stolen including my Galaxy 7. Still think deductible is a little bit high. I could have gone on Amazon but didn't. I have had Asurion for years and used them before. No matter what phone it is the deductible seems too high. Overall though I am very pleased with everything.

I got it and it works like it's brand new! It hasn't glitched or turned off randomly. The camera is perfect. I did lose all my contacts which was a little upsetting but I can live with asking for more numbers. It gives me a good reason to tell people I can't contact them because I don't have their number anymore!

I have had 2 different ones covered in this insurance & my understanding on the first one was that I was going to get part of the money back on the deductible if it was going to be able to be repairable. That was the S5 phone I do believe. But the replaced one is doing great.

Got my replacement phone the next day with zero issues, and no questions asked. I expected a longer wait but it was the very next available day. Very impressed! I had only signed up a bit before the phone got damaged and still got a replacement. No problem.

A short time ago my girlfriend lost her phone in an Uber car. Despite our repeated attempts to contact the driver we could not get a reply. I was frustrated and worried that I would have to buy a new phone when I had just bought this one less than 6 months ago. But one call to Asurion and the problem was fixed. All that was required was a minimal payment. I was pleased with the whole process.

I had a Google Pixel XL but I was told I would have to wait 2 weeks for that phone. The only phone that I could take as a substitute was the S7 Edge and I do not like this phone. I want the Google Pixel XL or Samsung S8. I'm dissatisfied and need someone to do something about it.

It was very stressful worrying that I would be charged $500 if my find my iPhone was not turned off, especially because my parents set it up and it took me hours for them to respond and remember the password. My phone was also delivered without being signed for. It was just dropped off on my porch, anyone could've taken it. Other than that everything was ok.

After I damaged my cell phone, I contacted Asurion about the insurance and after paying the $150.00 deductible, my replacement phone was shipped to my home the next day no questions asked. After this excellent service, I would definitely recommend Asurion insurance.

Original phone broke, due to insurance sent a refurbished one that was also not working. Then they said they would send new phone. New phone on back order took 21 days to get a working phone. I was disappointed due to the fact we pay insurance on time every month.

I had an accident with my iPhone 6s which dented the top corner and produced numerous cracks on the glass making it very difficult to read. On Verizon's advice I contacted Asurion who, subsequent to my providing the correct paperwork, replaced my iPhone within 24 hours. Simple procedure and excellent service all round.

My teenage son cracked his phone screen. I filed the claim and the new phone was at my house the next day. The instructions were great and we followed them all. The only thing I'd like to have was an email letting me know that you received the old phone. TERRIBLE customer service. BEWARE!! Do not ever pay for phone insurance through Asurion!! They are absolutely one of the worst companies I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with!! I owned an LG G4. Had it for several years with no problems but as phones tend to do it started to have issues with the battery overheating and other mechanical problems to where it just stopped coming on or stayed in a continuous boot up cycle. So I filed a claim with Asurion to get it replaced. Very easy and simple and got the replacement very quickly - 1 or 2 days. This was in January of 2017. I noticed a few glitches when I first got it that lead me to believe it was probably refurbished but had no major issues so didn't call.
BIG MISTAKE!! Friday, May 5, 2017 the phone went into full on meltdown mode. It wouldn't hold a charge, the battery was overheating, the screen would completely freeze so I couldn't get calls or text messages. Pretty much couldn't do anything with it. Took it into the store and they told me I would have to go back through the insurance company. So, I called them on Saturday, May 6th. Seemed to be no problem and the lady I talked to was very nice and said they would get a replacement out to me within 1-2 business days. She said I had a few options for phones because I didn't want another LG if possible and told me she could send me a Samsung Galaxy 7 edge. Perfect!
On Tuesday evening- no phone has arrived and I had no shipping notification so I called. I was told that the order was never processed. The lady said she would take care of it right away but that it would take another 2-3 business days because the phone I was promised was not available as a replacement phone for my phone. So she put me on hold and came back on to tell me she got approval from her manager to send me the galaxy but it would take a little longer 3-4 business days. At this point I am furious and want it expedited as this phone is also used for work and I need to be able to be reached and we are talking now a full week without a phone. She says she can't make the process go any quicker but I will receive notification when it ships.
By Thursday afternoon I still have no phone and no notification that it has shipped. I call again to be informed that it still hasn't completely processed as they needed to verify my shipping address. WHAT?!? You are kidding me right?!? She tells me that it has, however, been approved by the manager and everything is now complete so the phone can be shipped in 3-4 business days!!! So you are telling me that I won't have a phone until the end of next week?!! Again, more apologies but nothing more can be done.
So, on a hunch I called again Friday morning. Are you ready for this?? They cannot process this order because the original claim is now past 60 days and it's the warranty department's issue!!! I demand a manager who tells me the same thing. I rehash the entire saga for her and she tells me that it sounds like a training issue and she will make sure it's taken care of. REALLY?!? That is all you have to say??? She then puts me on hold and the warranty department picks up. The manager didn't even finish the conversation with me or try to fix the problem she just transfers me. I will leave it at that as the conversation with the warranty department did not go any better and I ended up in tears and just hanging up. So a week later I have no phone and A LOT of ANGER!!

My experience was easy and quick. Cracked screen on phone. The person helping me was very nice. The phone I received seems to be just like the phone I had. It takes good pictures too. I didn't receive a confirmation by email or text that they received the other phone. I checked every day. :-)

Got my replacement phone 48 hours after I cracked the screen. Only had to look rachet for a brief period of time! Got everything transferred over and sent my old phone in and the process was complete. I downloaded tech coach on my phone and it made the process seamless.

My claim was handled immediately. We got the new phone the next day. No problems. It was much easier than having to go through than going and sitting HOURS at the phone provider's store. It was very efficient. I do have a little problem with turning off the "find my iPhone" part. Seems once the new phone is turned on the old phone would be off. I'm never sure I have done it correctly. Just pray that I did. The threat of a $500 fine is intimidating.

I've used this service several times over the past few years. At first, I was skeptical of the need, but with a teen and a husband that are just rough on everything they have Asurion has come through. Replacement phones are received within 1 business day, easy to return the damaged phone. One issue with a replacement phone not working when received but that was 2-3 years ago and was quickly remedied. All in all great to have this backup.

The process was very simple and easy to get a replacement phone for my daughter. Simply logged on, selected the phone that was in need of replacement. Paid the deductible (the only bad thing about the experience) and the phone showed up in a day. So easy, even my 13 year old could do it. Fast, courteous and easy.

I recently had my Samsung S6 replaced due to water damage... everything went fairly smoothly. I received the new phone in less than one week. I was able to use the cloud and retrieve most of my pictures and messages so on and so forth. Everything on the replacement phone is working except my voice receiver. Whenever someone calls me no one can hear me... this has been extremely frustrating and I have not had time to send it back.

I had an incident with my phone, which was only a few months old. I called the cell provider first, which was frustrating, but during all of my stress, my husband found the link to file a claim with Asurion. It was really fast... I was done on a few minutes. The only problem was that my phone model wasn't in stock (it had just been released when I bought it), so I opened a web chat with someone from Asurion to get details about my options. That was also done quickly and easily, and I decided on a different model because I needed a phone right away. My new phone was delivered to my door 24 hours later, and for a small fraction of the cost of replacing it with the cell company. Highly recommend.

The company and the customer service employees that I dealt with were great and very helpful. I will say the second encounter with your customer service was beyond excellent. She was very helpful and went above and beyond. The first replacement phone that was sent out was defective and when I called she was extremely helpful and made sure that the issue was taken care of for me.

I dropped my phone and the result was part of my screen wouldn't work. Asurion was prompt in getting a new phone and the process was very easy. I was grateful to have a working phone since my phone serves as our home phone. What was so disappointing was the replacement phone I received. It does not hold a charge AT ALL! I charge it all night, hardly use it at all, and the battery dies by 3 pm. This happens even though I set it on "low battery mode". I constantly carry a charger with me to juice the phone whenever I find a free outlet. I would rather have the phone with the partial non working screen. This "new" phone was not worth the $200 I spent!

After contacting Asurion and speaking with customer service representatives I had my replacement phone shipped. The customer service representative was excellent and walk me through the complete process. They provide me with my tracking number, so I was able to track my replacement to the front door...

The phone I received does not work and only responds sometimes when using it. Not only do I now have a broken phone but my son spent about $50 on games on the phone. Since receiving this phone replacement I have worked a lot of overtime and I haven't been able to contact you.

The phone was ok. Home button feels "loose" and the earbuds they sent do not work. Overall fast shipping. Hard to get a hold of someone on the phone though. The charger sent won't charge my other Apple devices.

This is the 2nd time filing a claim in 1 year for a faulty phone which is fine, I get that technology breaks. But both times I filed I have to contact 2-3 times to get it right. This time I contacted Monday. They said they would be sending me a phone and it would not be a problem. Great! I have been checking my emails and nothing has came so I called them and a claim has not been started and I have to wait another 2 to 3 days to receive the phone, if it happens.
The first time it happened I had to contact them three times, maybe more. It was a year ago. The first they said they would be sending me a Phone immediately, I got an empty box to send back my phone to get looked at and refurbished then they'd send it back to me so I was would be left without a phone for two weeks or so. Then I contacted and they said they would be sending me a phone but they ended up charging me the entire price for a brand new phone. Had to contact again finally to get a Supervisor who was great and got it covered but it should not take more than once each time to get it right.
I understand mistakes happen but it's happened to me five times already, and did nothing for an apology as I should of had the new phone by now and there is not a way to expedite they said. No sincerity, I get it can be hard talking to customers all day but they need to remember that this is our situation too and it's frustrating especially when I have to keep contacting. I wish there were another insurance company I could use if I ever have to do this again.

I really wish that AT&T did not use Asurion. This makes AT&T service look like crap because they are using a 3rd party. Asurion will send you a different phone, refurbished/used phone, when you make a claim. Their service is trash and they don't give a ** about AT&T 's customer's satisfaction because it isn't their customer. I will leave AT&T and go to any phone company that does not use Asurion due to this horrible experience I am having where Asurion sent me the wrong phone.

My phone was stolen while I was on vacation. I went to a Verizon store to understand my options. They connected me with Asurion. I am an authorized user on my account, but they would not consider me an authorized user, so I had to hang up with customer service multiple times to get additional information from my father who is the account owner. After spending an hour at Verizon, and about 3 sporadic hours on the phone with Asurion, they told me they couldn't process my insurance claim because of fraudulent activity. They did not explain what that meant, nor gave me any explanation. I ended up speaking to 2 more people and the last was finally were able to process my claim.
I was leaving to go home after my vacation, so I was not able to check the status of my claim until later in the evening, and when I did, I had to speak with 3 different people to get the payment processed because the automatic service disconnected me or wasn't accepting my credit card (twice). Finally a REAL PERSON was able to process it. All in all, it took me over 3 hours to get the insurance company to understand that my phone really was stolen and that I really did need the insurance that I pay for every month. I was not committing fraud. Then it took over 6 hours for my claim to be processed, and another 2 hours to actually get the company to accept my payment.
I could deal with getting my phone stolen, because I wasn't injured and it is something that happens – hence why you buy insurance. But the headache I had to go through to get my phone replaced was uncalled for, and completely unacceptable. I had to speak with more than 8 people over a 12 hour period to get this resolved. It ruined my last day of vacation – something I work very hard for. So I am not satisfied with this company's ability to provide adequate customer service. If I didn't need insurance on my phone, I would never contact this company again.

Your instructions for taking the broken device off of the iCloud is wrong. I took it off of "Find my iPhone" by following your provided steps, but it was not taken off of the iCloud as a whole. I was then contacted and given the same instructions as before. I figured out in order to take a device fully off of the iCloud you must go to Settings, not just "Find my iPhone."

I lost my device April 24th 2017, called it in the next day to get a replacement, went through hell to get them to approve my claim, they were telling me that because my phone was on the T-Mobile network less than 72 hours it was not registered on the T-Mobile network, I had to call T-Mobile and 3-way them and upload the phone's invoice. They finally approved it, now, here I am, I have been waiting all this time, 18 days for a replacement. They keep telling me no more than 48 hours, and the phone is still not available to ship.
I am not sure I am not the only one with a Galaxy S8 plus waiting for a replacement, what are they waiting for to order those to get them in stock to ship them out to customers that have been waiting for weeks. They aren't giving me an ETA nor they seem to give a damn about my needs. I get the same story, "Give us 48 hours and it will be on the way," every time I call.

My original phone was bought because of its large screen size. That model was not available for replacement. The replacement phone has a smaller screen and I hate it. The company would not upgrade to the next phone which has the screen size I had before. I paid monthly for a very long time on 2 cell phones and 1 tablet. I'm very dissatisfied with my replacement. I have canceled the insurance on all my products and will tell others of my experience. I feel you should contact me to fix this situation. Let's see how you respond to this.

The phone was replaced fast and easily. The website was easy to use. The shipping was fast and reliable. And it was very easy to set up the phone and return the damaged one. The only problem was when I have an invalid address on the website, instead of allowing me to make sure it was wrong, after my fourth attempt I was told to call customer service.

This experience was fine, but I have had times in the past where the phone issue was a mechanical function and it was not covered by the insurance. Overall, I am not truly happy with this organization. I can have up to 5 phones insured and I am not always given the benefits afforded by my monthly payment. My daughter has the new Google Phone, which caused her problems from the beginning with the speaker and I was told it was not the insurance's responsibility to cover that - so as of now she still has the phone with no speaker. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS INSURANCE!!!

I was very displeased with Asurion. Took me weeks to get my phone. Every time I gave them my credit card information, it kept getting declined. I would call my credit card company and on their end, there were no attempts made. I tried several VALID cards and made over 10 attempts. They kept claiming my credit card companies were putting fraud blocks. Nothing on the credit card companies again. I finally had to give them my checking account number and routing information which I DO NOT like to give out. Someone needs to fix your process. Not sure if this is a recurring issue or one off thing. It was still a terrible experience and I had to go through almost a month with a very damaged phone.

I had to call 3-4 time and talked to 3 persons in one phone call to just tell me they didn't receive nothing of copies of my ID and that they couldn't do a claim. Got a replacement Samsung Galaxy s7 edge for a lost phone. The problem is that the phone that I received is NOT compatible with Verizon Cloud. I checked with Verizon and although this is an unlocked version (per their research) of the phone, this causes a big problem. We had to work multiple times to try to extract my former files from the Verizon cloud. I had to manually put them on my computer and then move them to a new micro sd card. Also, going forward I do not have access to the Verizon cloud which is built into the pricing of my plan and cannot be removed.

I filled out the questionnaire and paid my deductible after my phone screen was destroyed from a fall. I had a replacement phone overnight shipped to me. The instructions on how to send back my old phone, activate my replacement were easy to follow. They replaced the phone in a timely fashion. The phone they replaced it with is so worn down, swiping does not work and it's an iPhone. The first cord they sent me was a knock off Apple, the cord did not fit into the jack. They said, they use the knock off parts and had me send the unusable one back and sent another knock off product. I am still unhappy with the phone. Swiping often does not work to answer it.

The experience of replacing your phone is painful already. Then paying your deductible as high as you ask after months of insurance on my phone bill is even worse. Then being told you only had one colour was ridiculous. And then receiving a phone that was not updated to the right iOS to recover my phone and having to spend several hours figuring it out was beyond unacceptable. The whole process was completely painless. It was extremely easy to fill out the claim, and you can expect your phone the next day! I've always had phone insurance, but never had to claim insurance on the phone. I think it is a no brainer when it comes to phone insurance. Paying $12 a month was a good investment because I got both of my phones replaced with a nicely refurbished one.

After a couple of bad phones that came, the last Asurion agent I spoke with was really concerned with my needs, felt bad for me for the 2 phones that weren't working correctly and gave me a free upgrade not just model but even memory. This insurance is a scam. It is not worth buying thru your phone carrier. I filed a claim on my phone and told there is a $225 dollar deductible. I never knew there was a deductible when paying a premium every month to the carrier. And I am told I may receive a re-manufactured phone to boot. And I still owe $460 on the phone. On eBay and Amazon the phone is selling between $120 and $370. The phone companies and this Asurion have quite a racket going. What a joke - what a scam. Don't waste your money.

When I try to claim my lost Nexus 6P they said they out of stock for the phone, the only thing they can do is give me Galaxy S6. It's not acceptable because S6 is now cost $230 vs my nexus 6P is 600+. I've been paying insurance 24/month in 3 years and this is the kind of insurance service I got. On top of it I explain that I hate the S6, I used to have one. Customer service is not very helpful and kind of have the attitude. Kind of like: "this is what we offer, take it or leave it". I canceled both my claim & insurance. It's a WASTE of money, run away as fast as you can. If you run into this customer service rep: Nicole (id **) just hang up the phone and get another one :).

Since I got this phone, the battery dies extremely fast. At a full charge it's at 50% within an hour or so with minimal internet and phone usage. I take great care of this device having no scratches, cracks, or water damage. Very disappointment with this phone and would like a replacement.

WORST customer service experience of my LIFE. So horrible I cancelled the insurance. I spoke to no less than 5 different customer service reps including one supervisor. I was told I didn't have insurance. I was told at one point that that was not even my phone number. I will tell EVERYONE how AWFUL my experience was. Then once I got my phone it took 3 calls to activate the device because you didn't even send the ESN number for Verizon to activate it. After 2 days, 5 phone calls and HOURS, YES HOURS of wasted time, I couldn't even get the phone activated because there was NO paperwork sent with the device. You SERIOUSLY need to train your people... and what's SAD IS THAT MY DAUGHTER WORKS FOR YOU. In my 25 years of customer service experience, I've never witnessed SUCH INCOMPETENCIES.

Damaged my Priv and they gave me a choice of a BB10 (4+ yrs old), or a Galaxy S7 which was refurbished. Between the $170 I spent on insurance and the $120 deductible I paid, I could have gotten the Galaxy for $200 on line. I thought the ins. would replace my phone with what I bought, i.e. the Priv. They said they don't make it anymore and I told them they do then she said they were out of stock. I asked for the supervisor who answered with, "May I help you?" Then I heard the dial tone. I am losing the pictures and also when I put new data in the phone for my contacts it sometimes keeps them and sometime it does not. I went back into Verizon and they told me that when the new phones came out that none of these phones work correctly. Well my old phone worked just fine until I lost it and turned the new one on. I am very disappointed that I did not know that this new phone that I paid 99.00 for will not work correctly I could have just purchased a new phone for 200.00 and had one that works. I paid insurance on a phone for several years and now am screwed for a phone.

I am very pleased with my Galaxy S6 replacement, it was fast, easy, and on time. Will definitely continue to use the insurance for all my future phone and tablet purchases. Thank you for being so fast easy and reliable. New charger block was included which was very convenient.

The experience went very smoothly. We received the new phone when promised. We were able to get it set up through Verizon with no problems. I have however received a couple of emails stating that the old phone needs to be returned. It was returned a couple of weeks ago and when I called this morning I was informed by your automated system that the phone had been received.

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen on my iPhone 6s. I had purchased the 2-year replacement warranty called "ExcellencePlus" through Costco. The plan states it covers "drops, spills & cracked screens". I filed an online claim. The system said it couldn't process the claim so I had to call in. I tried calling a number of times but was on hold upwards of 20 minutes. I didn't get through. I checked online a couple days later and it said the claim was in process. Nothing happened though.
I finally got through to a representative. This was 9 days after I filed the claim. The rep said they didn't have any iPhones in stock. She said I could go to a service provider and get the screen repaired and they would reimburse me. I said I would prefer they send me a new phone when they have it in stock. She said they couldn't do that. She said I would have to call back everyday to see if they have any phones in stock. She said I could buy a new phone and they would reimburse me, but then the "plan would be fulfilled" and I couldn't use it anymore (the plan was supposed to cover up to 4 replacement phones over a two-year period).
The representative was completely unhelpful and the "protection plan" is completely useless. I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to process this claim and I'm still left with a broken phone. It appears my remedy is to call every day, wait on hold for 20 minutes, and see if they have a phone in stock. Or, buy a replacement phone and have the plan cancelled. Extremely frustrating to deal with this company.

After my new phone arrived, I decided to return it. I contacted your customer service rep and was instructed to return it in the envelope that it came with and I would be refunded the $200 deductible. After confirming its arrival back at Asurion, I contacted customer service, was told it was received in acceptable condition, and my refund was being processed. After waiting 2 billing cycles with no credit, I called again and was told I was no longer getting a refund.

The process was fine. The fact that I had to wait for about a week+ to get a replacement was frustrating. I understand that the Pixel is in short supply at retail and so here as well, but it doesn't feel right to be paying for 'insurance' that when needed isn't available to me. If the delay had been longer, I would have escalated it, but thankfully that didn't happen.

I received my replacement phone very quickly! I was very pleased. If ever in the situation again, I don't have to worry about any delay in getting my new phone. Customer service was also helpful in explaining what to expect and what my out of pocket expense was going to be.

My daughter lost her phone in Spain while studying this past semester. Asurion was remarkable in getting her phone to her in a reasonable time. I called on a Friday in a panic and the president called me back to help even though it was a weekend and they were closed.

Once it was clear I needed a new phone, Asurion accepted the claim without putting me through unnecessary hoops and quickly sent me a new phone that is working well. Returning my old phone was an easy process as well.

When I received the replacement phone, I started having the following issues with the phone. First, while I am on a phone call, the earpiece speaker gives me static sounds when I increase the volume. Second, after using the phone the screen gets warm when not in use.

My original phone was replaced due to water exposure and I did get a new one promptly from your company which was nice. The phone I got as replacement is full of issues. Won't hold a charge or even charge with the charger you sent me or others. It gets extremely hot just doing minor things like sending you this email. I have eliminated the apps and tried everything. Resigned to the fact you gave me a lemon. If I pay for a phone and a premium of insurance I expect to get quality back. Not someone else's broken phone that you "refurbish" to make tolerable only with the factory settings.

They claim that they provide replacement phones in 24hrs and it is not true. The duplication of information (inputting on the website and then repeating the information on the form), the confirmation of identity process is horrible and needs to be revamped. I submitted my phone claim on Thursday and did not get through the entire process until Monday of the following week. Every step takes review of at least 24-48 hrs, meanwhile I continued to cut my fingers on the screen of the phone because the screen shattered. I will be terminating my phone insurance with Asurion after more than 10 years as a customer.

Every month there is a payment for my phone to Asurion in the event that my phone is lost or damage. In order for me to replace my phone I have to pay them $200. At the time of the incident I didn't have $200. I had to wait 'til I had gathered the money to be able to replace my phone. Of course, when I call and give them the date I damaged my phone they were quick to respond in saying, I couldn't get a replacement because it was beyond the 60 days. Really? What's the point of paying for insurance if they can't insure you. I finally got a chance to explain why I took so long. The operator spoke with a supervisor and eventually was told that I would get my replacement. They took my card number for payment. Couple days went by and no phone.
I called Asurion and they told me that Sprint had blocked it. I called Sprint and their response was that they have nothing to do with that. They kept pointing fingers at each other. I didn't receive a notice from Asurion of what was going on. I had to call them to find out!!! All they could say is "Our apologies for not contacting you." Up to this point I still have no phone. Asurion is more than happy to take your money. It's now has been over a month since this situation. What is the purpose of paying insurance if they will not help and keep your money. They are horrible for doing this. Do not use them as your insurance.

It was a real hassle to get my replacement phone sent. In the past when I needed one it was much easier. And also the battery life on this phone is just as bad as the one it replaced. It would have been much better to just buy a new phone and have a better battery.

I lost my phone in the lake while fishing. Made a claim online when I got home that Friday evening. A new phone was send the NEXT DAY on a Saturday!!! Less than 24 hours after the claim was made. AWESOME service.

This was a fast and accurate process. Verizon kept up their promise. I received a quality replacement phone. It was an easy process to follow. They tried to fix it over the phone first with remote service. Verified that it could not be easily fixed so sent me a replacement.

Trying to get a hold of someone is a huge pain. First I called and the entire time I was on hold they wanted me to use the website. Once I was tired of trying to use the phone I went to the website only to get halfway done and was forced to call back. When I got a hold of a rep I was informed I wasn't allowed to take care of the transaction because I wasn't on the list (Which I am, I set the business account up and pay the bill). Rather irritating.

The phone I received from Asurion did not work properly. It was returned to Verizon and replaced with another phone, which I was told by a manager was something that shouldn't have happened. I found the whole experience of paying $100 for the crapshoot of a repaired phone that may not work well, very disappointing. No one at Asurion was rude on the phone. I had no problems with Asurion's customer service. It's the process that was difficult.

My phone was lost. I gathered my insurance papers, went to the phone store and asked for and received assistance. Talked to Asurion representative and explained what happened. Had a replacement the next day. No worries. All was well. Thank you.

The Asurion experience was flawlessly simple and fast. The new phone arrived as promised and the return process for the broken phone was simple, also. This insurance has proven to be a great investment and I will continue to keep the insurance as long as I keep having a cell phone.

The service to report the phone and getting it was fantastic, but my phone absolutely does not work. It continually freezes, screen goes blank - I can tell this is not a new phone which is very frustrating. I would welcome any help as I have updated the software, done a restart per the customer service, and nothing is working.

If I could I would not give Asurion any stars. They are deceitful, unprofessional and negligent. I recently contacted Asurion for a replacement iPhone. The original phone we received began to malfunction and the screen was not working properly. Asurion replaced my original iPhone along with my $112 deductible. The iPhone we received seemed to be refurbished and we discovered this when the screen began to lift and cut the ear of my Significant Other and children, then the screen began to malfunction again. I was not sure if I would be able to send the phone back since this was a replacement phone and was not sure Asurion would accept the phone. For safety reasons, we had the screen changed but the phone still was not working properly. I then decided to contact Asurion and see what I could do.
I explained the entire situation even the part that we had the screen changed for safety reasons due to the lifting screen. The gal I was speaking to acknowledged that this was a problem they were having with replacement refurbished phones. I asked her if I could still send it in to be covered under warranty after she explained that I would not need to pay a deductible and it was within a year since the last replacement. I sent in the replacement iPhone and then a few weeks later I get a box with the broken phone and a note stating that the warranty was voided and I now owed $599.99 for the phone and it was already charged to my account.
I contacted Asurion to find out why the phone had voided it warranty and I was told due to the screen replacement. I explained that I did tell the gal I spoke to and she advised me to ship the phone back. I was upfront with what we did. I am not being held responsible for paying the $599.99. Why should I be responsible when I told them the situation. If she knew that by me changing the screen voided the warranty why did she have me send in the phone. I feel like Asurion took advantage of me and lied by telling me to send back my phone. Especially when I only had $100.00+ left to pay for the payments on the phone with AT&T. This is not it. On top of the $599.99 I still need to finish the remaining balance on the payment plan. I don't see how I am responsible for paying the $599.99 when I was upfront on what happened to the phone. This rep gave me the wrong info.
After finishing the installments and paying for the $599.99 as well as the monthly installment payments I have now paid $1700+ for an iPhone 6. This is ridiculous. This is total fraud and Asurion taking advantage of us. Also the next replacement phone is not working properly either and the screen still malfunctions. I think Asurion needs to take responsibility for the mistake and I am also holding AT&T liable as they have provided their consumers with this insurance carrier.

The claim was handled poorly. I was told that I didn't have insurance multiple times. However, I escalated and someone else said they could see it. My claim wasn't processed timely. I had to call in 5 times and escalate to the office of the CEO. They kept saying employees of Verizon are handled differently. I was told my supervisor would have to call to verify insurance was on my personal line, which he doesn't have access to. Just wrong information time and time again. Very disappointed. I'll be cancelling my coverage. The replacement phone is not in good condition.

Experience/service was good. Product was not. The iPhone 6plus does not work properly. Apps will not open, screen changes on its own, unable to make calls, text and does not respond to touch. A white bar appears on top of screen. Reboot does not improve product.

Asurion replaced the broken iPhone in a very timely manner, they were very easy to work with. A postage paid envelope was included so we did not even have to pay for postage to return the broken phone. I will continue to carry their coverage on our cell phones.

The replacement qualification form was fair, brief and straightforward. Following that, I promptly received my replacement iPhone6 within 24 hours and immediately returned my damaged phone. The replacement iPhone6 worked perfectly and actually outperformed the one I returned. I am thoroughly satisfied with the Asurion insurance coverage that I have used on all three phones for many years in my Verizon account. I plan to continue using Asurion always.

Not as easy as advertised. The process was not smooth. The person on the phone was interrogating me like I was not telling the truth. I am not sure your service is worth it. Plus the "lost my iPhone" portion was tough to do when the phone is BROKEN!!

I'm still waiting for a phone to replace mine. And if I heard correctly, you are replacing my note 5 with a note 7, which blows up... So once I get my phone and see what kind it is you send me we can revisit this.

The process was easy and simple enough when I had to replace my phone. However one of the main features I use is the camera and the replacement one is awful. I can take a picture but it's blurry and not focused. I haven't called to see my options but my camera was such great quality and now it's not.
