    The first phone sent to me was the wrong device. The second device did not work properly AT ALL. Dropped calls, no one could hear me, "sounded like I was underwater", I'd be reading mail and the screen would shut off, back to home screen... and on and on. I finally returned it at the store and got a brand new phone, because your refurbished replacement phones are basically JUNK. Not happy with the products you replace with and the customer service was adequate at the most and frustrating as well.

    I broke my phone on Monday, and we were set to go out of town early Wednesday morning. Asurion got a replacement phone to me by Tuesday evening, but by Friday of that same week, the replacement phone was shutting off and draining battery from 40% to 0% in a matter of minutes. On top of that, the Touch ID would stop working off and on. If I am going to pay money each month for insurance coverage, plus a deductible to use the insurance I'm already paying for, I ought to at least get a working phone.

    When I called to report the bad replacement phone I was offered yet another refurbished phone until I told the sales rep I was going to do an early upgrade with Verizon and cancel my insurance coverage. At that time I was offered a "brand new" iPhone 7 without going through Verizon so I would have no contract. We were not allowed any refund of our deductible for getting a broken replacement phone.

    This is the first time that my experience with Asurion left me less than satisfied. I didn't get my phone on the day it was promised and I received 4 or 5 confirmation numbers before anyone could tell me how I could track my phone. I have a daughter in the military and she needed her phone before reporting back to her duty station and obviously this never happened but Asurion did not hesitate when taking out the fee for the phone. After it was all said and done I should have been reimbursed for my troubles. This was an awful experience.

    It was not the best experience because the price was high amount for a product that is horrible. I pay how much for insurance and when I got the phone it would have delays within a month and I did not download many apps or anything. Also the headphones broke after three uses and I don't blast my music. This is horrible service and I am upset that I paid this much for a phone and appliances like this. Oh also the shipping in itself was a problem but I know that is not the company's fault so I'll save that for another complaint.

    Besides having to call repeatedly and explaining my situation to numerous customer service reps (I use that term loosely), who all seem to not be able to read any notes that the last rep left on their system, they stole $339 from my bank account. I had a customer service rep look into it and said they made an error in withdrawing the money because the phone was received and signed for the same day and the withdrawal was not meant to come out at all if they received the damaged phone and even if they didn't it was not scheduled until the end of the NEXT month.

    He said I needed to fax them a copy of my bank statement (cause that is not too personal to prove that THEY took my money), and once received they would call me and let me know they have it and that they would be fixing the charge. I faxed it and received confirmation that the fax was received... no call. Called back a couple of days later. They said they didn't get it. Faxed it again, got confirmation, no call. Called them back again. They said they didn't get it. Went to my bank and had them fax the information again, where my bank also told me that Asurion did a Point Of Sale withdrawal of the funds NOT just a hold on it should the damaged phone not show up. Still no call, until I sent an email to Asurion after yet another customer service rep was of NO HELP at all.

    So then the office of the CEO contacts me to say, "Oh we received your fax (funny it came after the email but days after I sent the fax)." She said she will forward it on the accounting department and get back to me. She called back two days later to say "Sorry the accounting department says they can't see that transaction. They only see the one where the deductible for the claim came out." I said "Well I sent you proof that there was a point of sale withdrawal to Asurion on the date and the funds came out." She said she would send it back to accounting again.

    Then today called to say again, "Sorry we can't see the withdrawal on our end, is there anything else we can do for you???" Are you serious? You haven't done a thing for me but steal $339 and raise my blood pressure. I should have cancelled my account right from the start when I called the phone number they had printed on their return envelopes to ask a question and the number was actually for their competitor who laughed and said they get those calls all the time and gave me their correct number. These people are crooks and I will be going to the Better Business Bureau, my bank, Freedom Mobile, and any blog where people need to know if a company is reputable or not to tell them what these people consider customer service and ethical business.

    There should be no reason a legitimate request is denied. Enough money is sent to this company that all requests should be honored, whether it is broken or internal.     I lost my phone in the airport before leaving for the easter holiday. I called the next day and received a replacement phone the day after that. However, the battery died, so I called and they sent a replacement for that one and I received it in another 24 hours. Unfortunately, that phone didn't charge properly and was dying, so I called again and they sent me out another phone. Third time was a charm. I got a brand-new phone (the first was new, the second was refurbished) and it is working great. I don't love the new $250 replacement fee to get a new phone but they don't hassle you and they do send a replacement out right away. They did apologize for the issues I had and the new replacement phone is guaranteed for a full year, so I'm very happy now.

    This Google Pixel is the first phone in 20 years that I've ever needed to file an insurance claim for. That's because I didn't take my usual measures to ensure that I am properly strong, cleaning, and caring for my phone. I took off my case to clean my phone and dropped my phone face down. The screen cracked, but it was still usable. I filed a claim and the device was on backorder. Asurion communicated with me everyday (using their automatic system) to let me know the status of my backordered phone. Once I was notified that my phone was back in stock (about 3 weeks later), I had my replacement device sent to my workplace and was up and running in less than 48 hours.     I filed a claim to replace my damaged S7 Edge and was told I had to submit a affidavit and that my claim could not be process so I had to pay to get this form printed out, complete it and pay to get it and my lD scanned in order to upload to you.     For a week, I continued to have problems with the system that Asurion has. It was not telling me the information I needed in order to complete my claim. When asked to speak to a supervisor kindly and using "please," I was instead hung up on multiple times. I was very disappointed with the little amount of help I had received.     If I could give them zero, then I would. It better off you report your device lost than damage. In the process of return your device and post office lost your device, they still hold you responsible for the device and charge you for unreturned device. Their policy is cover damage/lost/stolen, but in case post office lost your device, they won't cover that part. I always have problem with them in some other way. They just trying to charge whatever they can. So through with them. SquareTrade insurance is a lot better with their service.

    Well, when I got this replacement phone I was under the impression that it would actually work. The phone takes about 10 hours to charge completely, not mention the phone gets insanely hot if I do anything while it's charge. The phone's speaker worked for about a week then suddenly it just stopped working, I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me.     After having insurance (see paying for) for 3 years I had to file two claims in within the span of two months. Once I dropped my phone and cracked the screen the next time I dropped it in water. They put a hold on my claim, EVEN after telling them I was in an on-call medical profession and COULD NOT be without my phone. The hold further delayed getting the appt. I need to get it fixed. So now, I have a hold, for no reason, then I have to wait to get the appt. which I'm sure will take a few days and then I'll have my phone fixed, after paying the deductible... AND if you file more than 2 claims a year they cancel your policy!!! Save your money and time, don't pay for this service.

    TERRIBLE customer service. BEWARE!! Do not ever pay for phone insurance through Asurion!! They are absolutely one of the worst companies I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with!! I owned an LG G4. Had it for several years with no problems but as phones tend to do it started to have issues with the battery overheating and other mechanical problems to where it just stopped coming on or stayed in a continuous boot up cycle. So I filed a claim with Asurion to get it replaced. Very easy and simple and got the replacement very quickly - 1 or 2 days. This was in January of 2017. I noticed a few glitches when I first got it that lead me to believe it was probably refurbished but had no major issues so didn't call.

    BIG MISTAKE!! Friday, May 5, 2017 the phone went into full on meltdown mode. It wouldn't hold a charge, the battery was overheating, the screen would completely freeze so I couldn't get calls or text messages. Pretty much couldn't do anything with it. Took it into the store and they told me I would have to go back through the insurance company. So, I called them on Saturday, May 6th. Seemed to be no problem and the lady I talked to was very nice and said they would get a replacement out to me within 1-2 business days. She said I had a few options for phones because I didn't want another LG if possible and told me she could send me a Samsung Galaxy 7 edge. Perfect!

    On Tuesday evening- no phone has arrived and I had no shipping notification so I called. I was told that the order was never processed. The lady said she would take care of it right away but that it would take another 2-3 business days because the phone I was promised was not available as a replacement phone for my phone. So she put me on hold and came back on to tell me she got approval from her manager to send me the galaxy but it would take a little longer 3-4 business days. At this point I am furious and want it expedited as this phone is also used for work and I need to be able to be reached and we are talking now a full week without a phone. She says she can't make the process go any quicker but I will receive notification when it ships.

    By Thursday afternoon I still have no phone and no notification that it has shipped. I call again to be informed that it still hasn't completely processed as they needed to verify my shipping address. WHAT?!? You are kidding me right?!? She tells me that it has, however, been approved by the manager and everything is now complete so the phone can be shipped in 3-4 business days!!! So you are telling me that I won't have a phone until the end of next week?!! Again, more apologies but nothing more can be done.

    So, on a hunch I called again Friday morning. Are you ready for this?? They cannot process this order because the original claim is now past 60 days and it's the warranty department's issue!!! I demand a manager who tells me the same thing. I rehash the entire saga for her and she tells me that it sounds like a training issue and she will make sure it's taken care of. REALLY?!? That is all you have to say??? She then puts me on hold and the warranty department picks up. The manager didn't even finish the conversation with me or try to fix the problem she just transfers me. I will leave it at that as the conversation with the warranty department did not go any better and I ended up in tears and just hanging up. So a week later I have no phone and A LOT of ANGER!!

I was grateful to have a working phone since my phone serves as our home phone. What was so disappointing was the replacement phone I received. It does not hold a charge AT ALL!     This is the 2nd time filing a claim in 1 year for a faulty phone which is fine, I get that technology breaks. But both times I filed I have to contact 2-3 times to get it right. This time I contacted Monday. They said they would be sending me a phone and it would not be a problem. Great! I have been checking my emails and nothing has came so I called them and a claim has not been started and I have to wait another 2 to 3 days to receive the phone, if it happens.

    The first time it happened I had to contact them three times, maybe more. It was a year ago. The first they said they would be sending me a Phone immediately, I got an empty box to send back my phone to get looked at and refurbished then they'd send it back to me so I was would be left without a phone for two weeks or so. Then I contacted and they said they would be sending me a phone but they ended up charging me the entire price for a brand new phone. Had to contact again finally to get a Supervisor who was great and got it covered but it should not take more than once each time to get it right.

    I understand mistakes happen but it's happened to me five times already, and did nothing for an apology as I should of had the new phone by now and there is not a way to expedite they said. No sincerity, I get it can be hard talking to customers all day but they need to remember that this is our situation too and it's frustrating especially when I have to keep contacting. I wish there were another insurance company I could use if I ever have to do this again.

    My phone was stolen while I was on vacation. I went to a Verizon store to understand my options. They connected me with Asurion. I am an authorized user on my account, but they would not consider me an authorized user, so I had to hang up with customer service multiple times to get additional information from my father who is the account owner. After spending an hour at Verizon, and about 3 sporadic hours on the phone with Asurion, they told me they couldn't process my insurance claim because of fraudulent activity. They did not explain what that meant, nor gave me any explanation. I ended up speaking to 2 more people and the last was finally were able to process my claim.

    I was leaving to go home after my vacation, so I was not able to check the status of my claim until later in the evening, and when I did, I had to speak with 3 different people to get the payment processed because the automatic service disconnected me or wasn't accepting my credit card (twice). Finally a REAL PERSON was able to process it. All in all, it took me over 3 hours to get the insurance company to understand that my phone really was stolen and that I really did need the insurance that I pay for every month. I was not committing fraud. Then it took over 6 hours for my claim to be processed, and another 2 hours to actually get the company to accept my payment.

    I could deal with getting my phone stolen, because I wasn't injured and it is something that happens – hence why you buy insurance. But the headache I had to go through to get my phone replaced was uncalled for, and completely unacceptable. I had to speak with more than 8 people over a 12 hour period to get this resolved. It ruined my last day of vacation – something I work very hard for. So I am not satisfied with this company's ability to provide adequate customer service. If I didn't need insurance on my phone, I would never contact this company again.

    I lost my device April 24th 2017, called it in the next day to get a replacement, went through hell to get them to approve my claim, they were telling me that because my phone was on the T-Mobile network less than 72 hours it was not registered on the T-Mobile network, I had to call T-Mobile and 3-way them and upload the phone's invoice. They finally approved it, now, here I am, I have been waiting all this time, 18 days for a replacement. They keep telling me no more than 48 hours, and the phone is still not available to ship.

I would call my credit card company and on their end, there were no attempts made. I tried several VALID cards and made over 10 attempts.     Got a replacement Samsung Galaxy s7 edge for a lost phone. The problem is that the phone that I received is NOT compatible with Verizon Cloud. I checked with Verizon and although this is an unlocked version (per their research) of the phone, this causes a big problem. We had to work multiple times to try to extract my former files from the Verizon cloud. I had to manually put them on my computer and then move them to a new micro sd card.     This insurance is a scam. It is not worth buying thru your phone carrier. I filed a claim on my phone and told there is a $225 dollar deductible. I never knew there was a deductible when paying a premium every month to the carrier. And I am told I may receive a re-manufactured phone to boot. And I still owe $460 on the phone. On eBay and Amazon the phone is selling between $120 and $370. The phone companies and this Asurion have quite a racket going. What a joke - what a scam. Don't waste your money.

    When I try to claim my lost Nexus 6P they said they out of stock for the phone, the only thing they can do is give me Galaxy S6. It's not acceptable because S6 is now cost $230 vs my nexus 6P is 600+. I've been paying insurance 24/month in 3 years and this is the kind of insurance service I got. On top of it I explain that I hate the S6, I used to have one. Customer service is not very helpful and kind of have the attitude. Kind of like: "this is what we offer, take it or leave it". I canceled both my claim & insurance. It's a WASTE of money, run away as fast as you can. If you run into this customer service rep: Nicole (id **) just hang up the phone and get another one :).

    I had an unfortunate experience with my phone the past month. I had to replace it because the screen was cracked and two weeks after paying the $200 deductible and getting the phone replaced, my new phone was stolen.
