    Very satisfied with the actual service. 5 stars. However the device, which I was assured is brand new is not. I tried switching over my AppleCare plan with the serial number and was told the device is refurbished/sold as is. Seeing as the phone was $1000 and less than 90 days old I have wasted the $270 AppleCare plan. They told me to contact you for a new device/exchange... is that possible?     After paying the fairly steep deductible to replace my iPhone 6 Plus, I received a refurbished 6 Plus in the mail. The shipping was very fast, but this was the only aspect of my experience that was positive. The refurbished phone I received began to have problems on the very first day. When the phone is on, a flickering/descending gray bar is present at the top of the screen most of the time. In addition, the touch aspect of the screen does not work most of the time, rendering the phone almost completely useless.

    To make matters worse, sometimes the touch screen will become so glitchy that it opens apps by itself and clicks on any number of random things (it even deleted a photo from a recent trip that I really liked, and has sent nonsense messages to my friends after opening Messages). It is my understanding that this is a very common defect with the iPhone 6 Plus, arising from an issue with one of the Touch IC chips on the logic board. I would have expected Asurion to thoroughly test my replacement phone before sending it to me. After all, I have paid $11 per month for the last year and a half for the insurance, as well as the $200 deductible. Overall I am very dissatisfied with the service that Asurion has provided, and now I am left trying to call Asurion on my defective phone that only works for about 15 minutes out of the day.

    I got my phone broken. As I have payed 1 year and 1 month the insurance, which had cost me $78, I have asked for replacement. My phone was bought by $49, and they ask me for the deductible $50! Where is the logic? I payed 1 year for what? To pay even more to get an used phone? She said it would be more cheaper for me to get a new one! Got it! Why then needed the insurance?     The replacement phone seemed to work when it arrived. However sometimes the screen has a strange line at the top and the touchscreen is not very responsive. Sometimes it works fine.     Put down the date that the phone was lost and was told it was the wrong date. Like you knew when we lost it. Had to do it 3 times because of the wrong date and had to file a false report because of the date being wrong. No one would give the date that y'all wanted. Never went through this before. The whole experience sucked very badly.

    Asurion keeps declining my payment and locking me out of my account. I am on day three of trying to get my phone replaced. I even went and got a prepaid visa card as the customer support team recommended and that was declined as well. The customer service is horrible and now I am flagged with Telecheck as a fraudulent account. I have spent three days trying to get the situation resolved and they keep locking me out of my account. Funny how my insurance payment went through just fine. This is a horrible company.

    I had no idea when I bought "insurance" through Verizon it had anything to do with Asurion. I was told my $11/month would cover my phone. Never was told about a deductible.     Seems as a lot of folks drop their cell phones and make a mess of the 'Glass'. Then live with it since it is expensive to fix or replace. I decided to take out insurance on the phone.     I filed a claim and was told I would receive my new phone the next day with the mail delivery and no phone came. I waited another day, and when no phone arrived still, I called and waited on hold for about an hour before speaking to anyone. Then I had to get transferred to multiple people before they could help me. I told them my phone was still not delivered although I had received a confirmation email that It was already shipped and they told me the claim was denied and declined to tell me why. Nor did they bother to notify me that my claim had been canceled so if I had not called to complain I would never have received the phone.

    Then I had to re-file the claim and wait longer for the phone to come. In total I waited four days for my phone to come, and got no compensation whatsoever for the mess up on their part even after calling. It is ridiculous to pay for a service that is done completely wrong. I immediately changed policies. 0-10 would never recommend to anyone. The only reason it got one star was because some of the people on the phone were kind.

    The first replacement was a refurbished phone that did not work. After paying $11/month for 20 months and a $150 deductible, I was pretty upset with being sent a non-working replacement. The 2nd attempt at replacement was not much better. The 2nd service person was going to send me another refurbished phone. I eventually got a manager who sent an upgraded phone that worked perfectly. I am happy with the replacement but the situation with the first non-working replacement and the lack of commitment of the 2nd service person to fix the problem, left a bad taste in my mouth.

    This isn't the first time I've had to get a replacement phone with Asurion in the past few years. As previously, the refurbished/new to me phone works well. It arrived quickly, and the setup was easy and relatively quick. While getting a new phone is never the most enjoyable experience, I was pleased with my experience with Asurion yet again. My only complaint is that the price for a replacement phone should not be so high, when I am already paying for insurance every month for just such an occasion. It costs as much as a new phone under contract with my provider/my new phone upgrade that I get every so often, but it's technically not a new phone. Just a thought.

    I purchased insurance through Sprint when I added my son to my account. Knowing how rough teens can be on electronics I decided to have both phones covered. First of all I was never informed that there would be a deductible, since I hadn't had coverage like this in quite some time. Unfortunately my phone was the one that broke so I asked to have it either fixed or replaced. They replaced it for $100. Ok. Then I receive the phone, in a plastic bag that says refurbished. Wasn't expecting that, but OK. I then had trouble transferring the info, Sprint was not helpful in this matter whatsoever. So after being a little ticked off I cancelled the insurance. Then about 1-2 weeks into having this phone I am having trouble making calls. Called Asurion and they told me to bring it to Sprint to have it fixed.

    Well then life happened and to correct the problem rebooting it every so often worked as I was unable to get over to Sprint for the repair. Fast forward about a month now it will not stay connected to WiFi. No wonder our data kept getting used within 2 weeks, and I had blamed it on my teen, when it was my phone all along. So I call Sprint to schedule a repair, that's when I really flipped. Apparently the "warranty" on my phone is no longer valid because I cancelled my policy! What?!? So I called the insurance to explain what happened to my phone and the associate couldn't do anything for me. So I asked for his supervisor and this is where it gets good. So there is a 1-year warranty on my phone but because I cancelled the policy they get to keep my $100 and I get a broken phone! How does that seem right?!? So I asked for her supervisor and am currently waiting for a call back. So disgusted with Sprint and Asurion for their lack of information.

    I still have not received my reimbursement. I feel like your product was a waste of money and an inconvenience. I trusted the salesman who informed me your product was essentially indestructible. After cracking my screen in two places a mere four days after application, I began the process to submit a claim. I paid $60 for your product, was told I would only be reimbursed $100 and the price to fix my screen that I had to pay out of pocket for was $150.     Automated system does not allow any cancellations. Called Asurion 10 minutes after claim had gone through, and was told they could not cancel the process, but that we would not be charged. Got charged $199.00 anyway. They included a cell phone envelope to return an unopened iPad box. Hello? Returned item via UPS. Today, I received a final notice (without having received any prior one) saying that the item has not been returned and that we may get charged $300.00. Go ahead Asurion, and we'll take the necessary legal action in response to your stupidity. I can also cancel all Asurion contracts that we have through Verizon. Will also notify Verizon about this poor experience.

    After realizing I was paying $60/mo. for insurance and in order to replace the phone I had to pay $200 I have cut out the insurance on all phones. I would have to lose a phone almost every month and possibly every week. The first refurbished phone we eventually had to send back and who knows how long this second one will last. You would think if you had to pay $200 in addition to the $10/mo. for the insurance that you would at least get a brand new phone. Don't buy the insurance. It is not worth it. Total rip-off.

    Asurion replaced my phone with my insurance last October. The phone has since then only been giving me trouble. I've kept it in a LifeProof case the entire time yet somehow all of the volume options including Alarm, ring, video, music, making calls have stopped working. No troubleshooting has fixed the phone. My phone is useless except for texting and some social media, or making phone calls in the car where I can use my car bluetooth. I am already very unhappy with phone replacement they have given me, but since I have asked them to replace my phone with the warranty. I was supposed to receive my phone last Wednesday, but they put a 24 hour hold on my account for no apparent reason said the sales associate I talked to on the phone.

    She said her manager would contact me to fix the hold, he never did. Which is fine. I would just receive the phone on Thursday. But no, it's now Sunday and the phone has not arrived. I called today, and she had entered my address wrong. So the package was being held where it was. Now, supposedly I have to call them back on Tuesday to give them permission to resend my package. I should not have to call again. I shouldn't have had to call to find out what was going on with my phone. I should have been notified of what was going on long ago. I am not impressed by the customer service in the least bit, and at this point I just need a phone that works.

My replacement phone had a line down right side of the screen from top to bottom, almost like it was dipped in something. It randomly drops the viewing brightness to 0% when you're using it even with a full charge. And the cord has to be wrapped around the phone just right for it to charge. Like the plug needs to be at a certain angle to connect and charge correctly. Very unhappy with the replacement but I don't have another $150 to drop on another "like new" replacement. :(

    Lost Note 3. Replacement sent was a Note 5 since they don't make more Note 3. When ask about being able to add more memory agent said that you were able to. When received replacement there was nowhere to add the SD card and it does not have the multiple view as the Note 3. Battery life is minimal. Charged 100%.     The phone I received has major issues with the battery. I'll have a fully charged battery for about a 45 min until it goes down to 50%. I'll be work so I'm not allowed to use my phone but when I go on breaks it's halfway dead. I don't have apps running so it's not in use when I'm not in. Also when there's 20% it will just cut off completely and keep restarting itself. I feel it's more of a battery issue than the phone.

Asurion replaced both phones within 24 hours! That was the best part. Having to get two phones in a 10 day period was not. Not having all data cross over, not good. Having all my prior calendar appointments be hours off, not (After 2.5 hours Verizon and I fixed this by changing the time zone on those appointments). Still don't have all my data (lost memos, appointments in calendar and contacts). This transition between phones sucks and needs to get better... stop advancing what the phones can do: focus on streamlining the process of data transfer.

The process was very easy and the longest part of the process was filling out the claim form. Only because I had to look up info about my phone model, etc. This saved me lots of money by using the insurance. Excellent service.
