    On Sunday, I dropped my phone and my husband filed a claim with your company. I was sent a phone and received it 2 days later. I took out my phone, read the instructions, followed them, but my phone would not activate. I took it to my local Sprint store and was told I had a SIM card that would not work and therefore I could not use my phone. They don't make SIM cards for the phone I was sent. Sprint told me to contact you about a replacement, which my husband did. He was transferred to 6 different "representatives" which all gave him the runaround... We now have 2 broken phones and are out $100. My husband asked to speak to a manager. Crystal answered the call and informed my husband that SHE was in fact the CEO of Asurion and that they do not offer refunds because it is insurance.

    In true "CUSTOMER SERVICE" the customer is always right. We were lied to by all agents, given false contact information. Your CEO is Kevin Taweel... not "Crystal". We were scammed out of $100 from your fake company. I have contacted through Facebook with no response other than "We're here to help". If you were here to "help", I would have a working phone and I would be refunded my money based on the horrendous treatment from your "employees".

    I wish I could say this was the first and only time I have been sent a broken phone from your company. Two years ago, my husband put a claim in and was sent not one but TWO broken phones. After doing some research on Facebook, there are many posts about your "employees" volunteering at an animal shelter. Maybe instead of volunteering their time at an animal shelter, that time should be spent on checking the faulty phones your company scams people out of.

    As a business owner myself, I am beyond embarrassed by this company and the behavior of your employees. I understand everyone wants to make a quick buck, but I mean come on. KEVIN TAWEEL... I couldn't sleep at night knowing my employees treat customers this way and scam them out of money when they are in the wrong. I really hope this matter gets resolved soon as I have already sought legal counsel on this matter. I have yet to be contacted to resolve this matter. I'm not asking for much... just a REFUND of my money and a WORKING phone. Thank you.

    Received phone quickly! Thank you. The replacement phone has either a tiny scratch or it might be a tiny crack in it. Hard for me to tell which it is. That is disappointing, and I've been unable to get a response back when I've tried to contact you to either fix it or send me a phone that has no damage. What do I do about this?

    I requested a replacement for my lost phone. The online process was really awesome and phone came next day which was like wow. Then to open the phone and realize it was sent with no battery or charger. I called the Customer service and they advised that it's out of stock and I will have to wait maybe 1-3 business days. That was so ridiculous. What the use of sending a phone without its battery?!! It's like selling a car without Tires, like seriously!!!

    Updated on 06/08/2018: I have been with them for over a year, during that time, I requested to replace either a lost or a damaged phone. Twice that happened, and twice they sent me the phone WITH NO BATTERY!!! That is so ridiculous. The new phone (LG tribute) is for $150. I pay $50 as a Co-Pay when replacing it, and now it comes without the battery, which will cost me another $15-$20. How come you send the cell phone without its battery!!! It's like selling a car without the tires! That is so ridiculous.

    I was very pleased with the process and how easy it was until I received my first phone that was damaged. Contacted and received yet another damaged phone upon receiving that one. I decided to keep the first damaged one because I was sick of dealing with having phones mailed and having to send them back. After it was all said and done my credit card was charged $500 for a phone that was returned which in turn caused all sorts of problems with my credit card while on vacation and the $500 has still not been removed.

    I recently discovered that my phone had a defective GPS and it needed to be replaced. I tried to log into their website, but their website isn't functioning correctly so I had to call. When I called they told me it would be 162 dollars to replace my phone. More than half the price of the current value of my phone. The deductible is outrageous, but it gets worse. Phone insurers, typically realizing that defective phones should be replaced a soon as possible, are usually really expedient. Not these people. I have to send them a copy of my identification through an email that I should receive within the next couple of hours. Then once my identity is confirmed through snail mail they will then guide me through the "next step." This company is horrible and there are multiple insurance companies for phones that do a much better job.

    Nice to get my phone the next day after it took an unfortunate fall. I purchased a tempered glass screen protector to prevent this from happening again. The price is quite high to replace, but nothing compared to a full retail purchase. Maybe the cost could be added as payments? That may help people who can't afford the full price.

    Phone screen was damaged, filed a claim and was promptly sent a "reconditioned" phone. The phone received has a cracked screen. The charger that was sent with it isn't the correct one. It has had several glitches in which I have to cut the phone off then back on to get it to function or to get the screen to work. Sent email to Asurion a week ago and still no response. If wasn't forced to use Asurion I certainly would not but what other choice is there? Exactly! If they had some competition then maybe their service wouldn't have so many complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Maybe now, I doubt it tho, Asurion might respond back and I can at least get a phone which I can talk using the speakerphone without it fading in and out.

    Great customer service. Got my replacement phone back and was able to return the old phone back just as easily. I don't know if this is refurbished phone or not because sometimes I get a ring tone, and sometimes I don't when someone calls and right now, I don't know if going through the hassle of changing phones is worth my time.     I had bought a reconditioned phone so I thought it would be useful to obtain coverage for it. After owning it for a while I found it becoming more and more difficult to connect the charger, as it wouldn't go easily into the phone port. Eventually I was completely unable to get the cable connector into the port so I sought compensation for "damage" to the phone which rendered it unusable. I received another phone in less than 48 hours and suffered no loss of service (having used the ultra power saving mode) while awaiting the replacement. I had another 14 days to return the damaged phone, which was very convenient because I just put it in the provided return envelope and mailed it. It was expensive ($150) but much less so than getting a new phone.

    I have been with Asurion for years, I am one of those people who drops and fumbles the phone a lot. So replacement is almost inevitable at some point. In the past it has been very prompt, but this time was different. I lost the phone this time, affidavits took a few days to work out, so it was actually a 7 days from the start of the claim to when I received the replacement phone. But this is the only time where the ball was dropped. Nonetheless this is a great insurance for those of us that are hard on our stuff. You know who are, this is one more form of protection.

    I called the service department and got a rude customer service associate that asked me for the phone number for my tablet, which I didn't have since I never use that phone number. I asked if she could just look me up in their system since I have been a customer of theirs for years but she sent me back to Verizon. Call Verizon back up and told them I had been transferred to them and then hung up on. They gave me my phone number for the tablet, which I relayed to the new Asurion representative, who then asked me what model my tablet was, I didn't know, so back to Verizon. I called Verizon and asked for a supervisor, as I realized that this game would likely continue...which it would of because the next question was going to be my MEID # or such, which nobody would know. So the Verizon rep then told the Asurion rep all my information necessary to fill out.

    Then the Asurion Rep told me that I would receive an email, to complete some paperwork to further work on my claim. I received 2 emails with 2 different claim numbers? Only one of which worked, had to download, print, fill out affidavit, scan, re-upload, provide a copy of my driver's license, and a proof of purchase. I've been paying for this tablet for a year and my 2 phones for 2 years without any claims filed. Now I get treated like I'm a criminal that has to prove that I have insurance with them, even though I've been paying them for 2 years without any problems with needing proof of where and why I'm paying them. I cannot understand how they have such a good rating on the Consumer Affairs website. Every step of the way, I've been met with complete lack of customer service. They must be falsely improving their customer support ratings with PR/marketing companies.

    The Phone that you guys sent me dies much faster than my old phone did, this one's battery must be worse than other phones. I have to charge it at least twice a day.     This entire process is ridiculous. They told me to go to icloud.com website to turn off the Find My iPhone and when I call them for help, they told me something is wrong with my login on icloud's site since I should be able to see the Find My iPhone option. Well, duhhh... If I never set it up, it wouldn't be there. So, I went chasing my tail and spinning my wheels for two days from bad instructions. Icloud finally help me figure it out to avoid a potential $500 fine. Took two hours with all the going back and forth, plus me trying to figure it out after on the phone with Asurion. Secondly, you "highly" recommended me to ship to my business, not sharing that the phone would be addressed to the account holder, my husband, not the owner of the phone, me. I work at a large organization, so a name error like this is big trouble meaning no package will be received.

    Called you guys and you can't help. Can't change the name or address - gotta call back in 4 hours to "see" if you can fix your error. You could've at least given a warning that this would happen. I entered MY info - my name during the claim process!!! Even, when I received the email confirmation of the claim, they addressed it to ME, not the account holder - else I would've caught the error. No time was I informed this was happen until I hit "submit claim". Bad business and what a big mistake on their part. I'm going out of town Thursday across the country with potentially no phone and traveling with a 3 year old, so these major screw-ups and delays of my phone replacement means bad review, negative feedback, and advice to family and friends not to use this awful service!

    We had our brand new iPhone 7 Plus stolen at the grocery store at approx. 3:00 pm and had a new iPhone 7 Plus at our door at approx. 10:15 am the next day. We only had one concern, and that was what if something was wrong with the recovered phone that had been stolen. I have no idea what was done to that phone, if any, while it was in the thief's hand. We would have felt more confident if we could have kept the replacement phone, not to mention that we had to reload everything back on the phone again. As of this writing, I have not received my refund yet. But I'm confident that it will arrive soon. Thank you, we are very pleased with the service from Asurion!

My phone was damaged by a Verizon employee, but he was trying to help - wiped solution to attach a Zagg cover, but there was a tiny crack on phone which then Apple diagnosed failure as liquid damage. I had never dropped phone in water, always had the better Zagg cover and Otterbox - but crack was between the Zagg cover and top of phone - only tiny unexposed edge of phone.     Your service was fast as advertised, and service reps were very helpful. The replacement phone looks like new and so do the associated accessories. However, the first replacement/refurbished phone froze up after one day and a second refurbished phone had to be sent. Since the first phone froze on a Saturday and the following Monday was a holiday, the replacement phone did not arrive until Wednesday which meant that I was without a phone for almost 5 days. So, that affected my rating. Also, I feel that this insurance is really only a good deal if you lose or break your phone in the first six months or less than a year. That's because what you pay per year plus the deductible = what you'd pay for an actual new, different phone in about 3 years. But, overall I'm satisfied that my replacement phone works now and I didn't have to pay the incremental extra cost for a new, different phone. So I did save some money by having the insurance.

    I phoned into Asurion at 888-881-2622 twice today regarding a claim toward repairing a cracked cell phone screen. The first customer service representative hung up on me as I explained what I was trying to do. Her English was broken, so perhaps she didn't understand me. During my second attempt at getting assistance with my claim, (Holly) indicated to me that I had not yet submitted my affidavit. (Why one needs to go to the trouble of a sworn affidavit over a cracked cell phone screen is a mystery to me.)

    I am somewhat technically challenged, so I asked her to stay on the line to make sure I went through the correct steps to do the upload of my affidavit and driver license. Her response was: "There's nothing more I can do to help you. I'm not going to teach you how to use your computer". Customer Service? I don't think so. I legitimately needed help with the technical part of the process, and Holly was extremely insensitive to my needs, and would not give me the reasonable assistance I requested.

    This experience has been the worse ever! I called due to the power button on the phone didn't work on the G5. I was told they would send a package for me to send off for repair which would take 5 days from the time they received it. I asked for a loaner phone for the time being. The rep advise using an old one or asking someone else for one. I advised, "Everyone I knew was with another company". The rep said, "I don't know what you're going to do then". Like really!!! The claim was canceled. NO ONE called to let me know after 2 days. When I was able to speak with someone no one was on the same page and the conversations were being disconnected.     I purchased an Xbox 360 from Walmart. I bought the Asurion warranty. The Xbox broke. I sent it in and they said they sent a reimbursement in the form of an e-gift card. I never received it. That was in June of 2014. I have called and called and called some more and I keep getting the runaround. I was told it was reissued numerous times. Waited 24-72 hrs it never shows. I call back. Then I was told it was sent up to accounting because of the length of time and Asurion call rep could not reauthorize it. I was told this numerous times. Then I called a week later and was told it was re-issued. Waited 72 hrs and nothing, so I called again. I was told it was being processed and once it was processed it would be re-issued but they gave me no time frame this time. I asked for a number for accounting and was told they didn't have the number. My next step will be a lawsuit. I have had enough of this crap. Walmart is CRAP and ASURION is CRAP.

    I would have to say that I would definitely recommend purchasing insurance with a new phone. I would recommend it for the price however the premium could be less. The only complaint is how eager you want the broken, or damaged phone, and the $300 dollar late fee is very unfair. My phone was smashed to several pieces, and it is missing a screen... It was ran over several times. I'm sure there's some small print somewhere that allows you to charge that fee, but seriously it's my phone that I have been paying for, and I have been pay you for insurance as well. So in my opinion it's a very fair business practice to basically demand something I have been paying for, and on top of that you want it in a certain amount of time or you're going to charge me a ridiculous fee.

    We've had Asurion for years to insure our iPhones and have not until this year needed their services. I had damaged my iPhone and received a replacement phone in 2 days. That was awesome. It was not new, but it did cost $199. Because it would not hold its charge for 8 hours, I requested a replacement. (Not awesome!) I was sent a replacement in 2 days. (Again, awesome!) Again, it wasn't a new phone, but it seemed to hold the charge better. What it wouldn't do was Apple Pay. Because few retailers do Apple Pay, and because I kept hating to make others wait while I kept trying it, it took me a couple of months to decide that I needed to have it checked out.

    So I took it to the Apple Store in Roseville. Much to everyone's surprise, the reason that the phone wouldn't work was that it was not an iPhone - yes, it was a fake. Asurion had sent me a fake that had an apple sticker on the back and was unable to do Apple Pay. (Not at all awesome!) When I called them to tell them about this revelation, they were amazingly calm about it. They did not seem surprised and did not express any kind of outrage. They did offer to send me another replacement. When I asked if they could guarantee that the new one would be an iPhone, they said they couldn't. Yes, they said they couldn't guarantee that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

    When talking to a rep in the CEO's office and getting nowhere, I expressed that I was shocked that there was no outrage at what had happened and that the only thing I could surmise from this would be that it happened regularly and that they were aware of that. I said that in my view was FRAUD. After all, I paid for an iPhone and received a fake. At that point I was told that I could buy a real iPhone and that they would reimburse me for my expense, but this was a one time only offer. They were good on repaying my $700 bill, and I do appreciate that. What I don't appreciate is that I had to threaten them with fraud. It also became apparent that their insurance is worthless to me, since they will never guarantee an authentic iPhone replacement.

    First of all - I dropped my phone for the first time ever and broke the glass on my screen. I pay and always have paid insurance on my phones. I was very disappointed in paying $149.00 for the replacement. Customer service was good - speaking with the reps. It was a relatively quick conversation. But - They didn't have the pink phone I initially got. It was on back order and I felt pressured into just taking the 2 options that were available. I knew once I told Verizon that my screen was cracked that it was out of warranty - I didn't want to take a chance of something else happening inside the phone so I took the black one that was available.

    Also, I received my phone very quickly via mail. But received a charger that wasn't even Samsung! Just a cheap Chinese charger that probably goes for a couple bucks online. - IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEND A CHARGER IT SHOULD BE THE SAME BRAND AS THE PHONE. Especially paying $150 for a replacement. Lastly. The instructions for the SIM card were wrong. That I was instructed by Verizon to switch the SIM card over.     I had a cracked iPhone 6 Plus with a bad battery so AT&T showed me the direction of making a claim. Submitting the claim was really easy. Well when they sent me my replacement phone it immediately started having problems with the screen and the screen was popped out. So I requested a new phone and three days later they gave me a new replacement and when I opened it and compared it to my previous replacement. Well the buttons were different with depth and noticeably different. The back of the phones were different slickness. Even the Apple logos were different. One was built in (like it's suppose to be) and the other one was like a sticker. It's scary how different your replacement phone can be from another one.

    Service was fast, but the first replacement phone the microphone was bad, so we got another replacement. This one is bad also and shuts itself off whenever it wants to. So frustrated. We are just living with it. Apparently replacements are just junk.

    Carried this insurance through AT&T for around 18 months. Broke phone and had AT&T agent help file a claim when she told me I had insurance. Asurion never received it so I sent it in again. After weeks of going back and forth claim was denied because they showed activity on the account and that is because I borrowed a phone. Went through multiple phone techs more interested in getting off the phone than helping me. Planning on sending this in to BBB on AT&T because Asurion isn't even registered with them if that tells you anything. From the reviews they are so hit and miss as far a quality service. Looking back I wouldn't have them insure a wet fart. False advertisement!

    The phone I received has something wrong with it the screen flickers and locks up all the time. My old phone had a cracked screen and worked better than this phone. This one locks up and has to be restarted multiple times times a day. It's very frustrating!

    I dropped my iPhone out of my pocket at work. Even with a case and screen protector installed, my screen somehow managed to crack. I filed my claim with Asurion and after paying my deductible, my replacement phone came in the next day. It was easy to set up from the backup of my old phone. 10/10 good service.

    We have had Asurion for years through Verizon. Never a single claim until I dropped my phone yesterday and a tiny crack appeared in the corner. I removed the case and tempered glass screen protector, noted that the crack was smaller than the width of my pinky and decided to put a new tempered glass protector on until I could go to the Verizon store later this week. After being outside all day yesterday, we noticed that the once tiny crack had tripled in size and was splintering out. So we decided to initiate a claim online to have the screen replaced. Seemed easy enough. Only $79 to replace the screen! Except... Asurion doesn't offer screen replacement within 80 miles of me.

    So the only solution they offer is for me to pay $200 for a refurbished iPhone. We pay $22/month for a service that isn't even available to us. When I asked why we would pay for a service that isn't available in our area, both customer service representatives said the option to repair or replace is only available to select customers anyways. Apparently paying $22/month for 8 years without a SINGLE claim is not good enough. I don't recommend anyone in Arkansas, outside of Little Rock, pay for this 'insurance.'

    I cracked my screen on my iPhone. I called Asurion and I was told $100 to fix. I told them this is a SCAM. I pay $14 monthly for insurance and yes I understand deductible but their deductible is higher than anywhere else. I understand I can go anywhere and just get it fixed. But I firmly believe Asurion is pulling a SCAM on cell phone users. They are a terrible company and I will till my last breath speak to everyone I know about this. I honestly believe Asurion is a SCAM. Very bad organization.
