This was a very good experience and we believe that the insurance paid for itself in this instance.     My cell phone was stolen and you replaced it. The one that I was given has been giving me a lot of problems. I hate it. I now have to wait a year to replace it. Or I can pay full price for a new phone. I am recovering from a surgery due to being diagnosed with stage 4 oral cancer and I have to pay for my radiation treatments and my chemotherapy treatments with my own money. Because of this I can't afford to pay for a new phone. So to answer your question, I am not satisfied.

    I would have to say that I would definitely recommend purchasing insurance with a new phone. I would recommend it for the price however the premium could be less. The only complaint is how eager you want the broken, or damaged phone, and the $300 dollar late fee is very unfair. My phone was smashed to several pieces, and it is missing a screen... It was ran over several times. I'm sure there's some small print somewhere that allows you to charge that fee, but seriously it's my phone that I have been paying for, and I have been pay you for insurance as well. So in my opinion it's a very fair business practice to basically demand something I have been paying for, and on top of that you want it in a certain amount of time or you're going to charge me a ridiculous fee.

    We've had Asurion for years to insure our iPhones and have not until this year needed their services. I had damaged my iPhone and received a replacement phone in 2 days. That was awesome. It was not new, but it did cost $199. Because it would not hold its charge for 8 hours, I requested a replacement. (Not awesome!) I was sent a replacement in 2 days. (Again, awesome!) Again, it wasn't a new phone, but it seemed to hold the charge better. What it wouldn't do was Apple Pay. Because few retailers do Apple Pay, and because I kept hating to make others wait while I kept trying it, it took me a couple of months to decide that I needed to have it checked out.

    So I took it to the Apple Store in Roseville. Much to everyone's surprise, the reason that the phone wouldn't work was that it was not an iPhone - yes, it was a fake. Asurion had sent me a fake that had an apple sticker on the back and was unable to do Apple Pay. (Not at all awesome!) When I called them to tell them about this revelation, they were amazingly calm about it. They did not seem surprised and did not express any kind of outrage. They did offer to send me another replacement. When I asked if they could guarantee that the new one would be an iPhone, they said they couldn't. Yes, they said they couldn't guarantee that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

    When talking to a rep in the CEO's office and getting nowhere, I expressed that I was shocked that there was no outrage at what had happened and that the only thing I could surmise from this would be that it happened regularly and that they were aware of that. I said that in my view was FRAUD. After all, I paid for an iPhone and received a fake. At that point I was told that I could buy a real iPhone and that they would reimburse me for my expense, but this was a one time only offer. They were good on repaying my $700 bill, and I do appreciate that. What I don't appreciate is that I had to threaten them with fraud. It also became apparent that their insurance is worthless to me, since they will never guarantee an authentic iPhone replacement.

    First of all - I dropped my phone for the first time ever and broke the glass on my screen. I pay and always have paid insurance on my phones. I was very disappointed in paying $149.00 for the replacement. Customer service was good - speaking with the reps. It was a relatively quick conversation. But - They didn't have the pink phone I initially got. It was on back order and I felt pressured into just taking the 2 options that were available. I knew once I told Verizon that my screen was cracked that it was out of warranty - I didn't want to take a chance of something else happening inside the phone so I took the black one that was available.

    Also, I received my phone very quickly via mail. But received a charger that wasn't even Samsung! Just a cheap Chinese charger that probably goes for a couple bucks online. - IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEND A CHARGER IT SHOULD BE THE SAME BRAND AS THE PHONE. Especially paying $150 for a replacement. Lastly. The instructions for the SIM card were wrong. That I was instructed by Verizon to switch the SIM card over. Don't know if there is a way to talk to Verizon about this but I was disappointed in having to use a 3rd party company. Since they provide insurance they should be handling the replacement.

    The first replacement phone I received did not work. After reinstalling all my apps, putting in passwords and customizing the phone to my needs I had to receive yet another replacement phone that was not the color I wanted. It is stated that the phone is tested and goes through a rigorous inspection before being shipped out.     I had a cracked iPhone 6 Plus with a bad battery so AT&T showed me the direction of making a claim. Submitting the claim was really easy. Well when they sent me my replacement phone it immediately started having problems with the screen and the screen was popped out. So I requested a new phone and three days later they gave me a new replacement and when I opened it and compared it to my previous replacement. Well the buttons were different with depth and noticeably different. The back of the phones were different slickness. Even the Apple logos were different. One was built in (like it's suppose to be) and the other one was like a sticker. It's scary how different your replacement phone can be from another one.

    Carried this insurance through AT&T for around 18 months. Broke phone and had AT&T agent help file a claim when she told me I had insurance. Asurion never received it so I sent it in again. After weeks of going back and forth claim was denied because they showed activity on the account and that is because I borrowed a phone. Went through multiple phone techs more interested in getting off the phone than helping me. Planning on sending this in to BBB on AT&T because Asurion isn't even registered with them if that tells you anything. From the reviews they are so hit and miss as far a quality service. Looking back I wouldn't have them insure a wet fart. False advertisement!

    We have had Asurion for years through Verizon. Never a single claim until I dropped my phone yesterday and a tiny crack appeared in the corner. I removed the case and tempered glass screen protector, noted that the crack was smaller than the width of my pinky and decided to put a new tempered glass protector on until I could go to the Verizon store later this week. After being outside all day yesterday, we noticed that the once tiny crack had tripled in size and was splintering out. So we decided to initiate a claim online to have the screen replaced. Seemed easy enough. Only $79 to replace the screen! Except... Asurion doesn't offer screen replacement within 80 miles of me.

    So the only solution they offer is for me to pay $200 for a refurbished iPhone. We pay $22/month for a service that isn't even available to us. When I asked why we would pay for a service that isn't available in our area, both customer service representatives said the option to repair or replace is only available to select customers anyways. Apparently paying $22/month for 8 years without a SINGLE claim is not good enough. I don't recommend anyone in Arkansas, outside of Little Rock, pay for this 'insurance.'

    I cracked my screen on my iPhone. I called Asurion and I was told $100 to fix. I told them this is a SCAM. I pay $14 monthly for insurance and yes I understand deductible but their deductible is higher than anywhere else. I understand I can go anywhere and just get it fixed. But I firmly believe Asurion is pulling a SCAM on cell phone users. They are a terrible company and I will till my last breath speak to everyone I know about this. I honestly believe Asurion is a SCAM. Very bad organization.

    I am giving only two stars because, although the replacement time for the device was quick, the actual replacement phone was of terrible quality. I placed the refurbished phone in a case and put on the tempered glass screen protector and the very first time I dropped it on the ground (only from a seated height onto the dirt), the screen and the back of the phone cracked! It looks as if the back of the phone is made of cheap plastic the way that it broke. And the glass front screen crumbled, even with the case on! I am extremely dissatisfied with this service, especially considering I still had to pay so much!

    I was originally promised new device due to defect and overheating of a replacement device received only weeks before. I then received a new phone, however it wasn't the phone I already had, it was completely different model. Then told they can't promise a new phone and that I was lied to by previous rep. Took over a week to get correct phone out after several attempts with multiple reps that did not do what they said they would. I was hung up on at closing time and had to wait till next day to finish claim. Then rep did claim then canceled claim and never started new claim to ensure a new device like I was told. So had to wait several days over weekend to get another claim started when it should have been done already.

    Finally when I did get a claim started following Monday, I didn't even get what I originally started off with. I got my phone in a completely diff color and still got refurbished phone even though I was promised a new phone. I was charged $199 deductible for a like new phone to find out my phone is not even being produced anymore, which is why I received a different color. All in all horrible experience, by the way I'm 9 months pregnant, and stress of whole situation not healthy for me or baby, neither is being without a working phone for a whole week. I would never recommend this service to anyone and I did file a complaint with Verizon, regarding this poor service.

    To be fair, they did respond quickly. But that is the only redeeming thing here. I rate my experience low for two reasons: 1. After paying 17 months and then a $150 deductible, I could just purchased a new phone. 2. Asurion only gives refurbished phones. The phone I received does not work right. It drops calls, apps stop working in mid-app, and worst of all, the battery only lasts about 8 hours out of the box. I should have filed a complaint and returned the phone. However, I went down this road years ago with Asurion and they would only send more refurbished phones. I gave up after three phones last time. I knew better than to carry this insurance but somehow I fell into the trap again. This time, I just bought a new phone on my own. Never again will Asurion get my money.

    I submitted a claim on 6/13/17 and had to submit documents 3 times. On 6/14, I called them. They were incredibly rude and after being on hold awhile told me they didn't get the documents. I submitted them yet again and was told I would be contacted within 2 hrs. Got email saying I would be contacted within 24 hrs. Nothing. Called 6/16, again they were very rude and put me on hold for awhile. Told me I had to cancel service for the phone and cancelled the claim. When asked why they didn't notify me, they had no answer.

    I resubmitted the claim, but it wouldn't allow me to change the shipping address. Called again, still rude. Told me I couldn't until I submitted the documents. I asked how when I had to enter the shipping address first, they couldn't answer. Finally got it submitted, but no access to shipping address, so no idea where it's going. Got email saying I would be contacted today. I have yet to hear from them. I'm so mad and frustrated.

    Really disgusted with this service. First I spent 4 hours on the phone to get my insurance claim. I have a old Galaxy S6 Plus in gold. I call to file my claim and they tell me that all they have is black. Have no better options but to downgrade with them. So I received my product the next day that was supposed to be new with black marks on my screen. What kind of business is this?     I received a replacement phone for my broken screen. The phone took many attempts to turn on/off. After 2 days the "sleep" button stopped working. I filed a complaint and was asked to jump through more hoops by printing and verifying my identity, then was told I had to pay another $150 for quite possibly another garbage remanufactured phone. I will not pay that. I will be changing my phone carriers and will be cancelling my phone insurance, which is the most inconvenient and useless thing that I pay for.     The phone I received was in poor condition. It has issues with texts not always going through. People cannot always hear me when I am talking. The back camera came with the cover cracked. I had to remove it. I did not want to have to fight being accused of doing damage to the phone, so I just removed the damaged back cover, and use the phone as is. Very disappointed.     I've used this care plan probably close to a dozen times over the years, for various items. At first, I gotta say that it was basically trouble free, other than usual of not being able to understand what the rep on the phone is saying. But I can honestly say that with each claim it has become harder and harder to complete one with these people... It's now almost to the point of ridiculously impossible. The majority of mine have been with cell phones, but there has been a few on gaming equipment also. I quit buying big ticket electronics, such as TVs, laptops, etc. from Walmart a long time ago. Personally, That just never did seem to turn out good at all. But I do like the Straight Talk no contact cell phone plans, and have used it faithfully for years. It's just too bad that the durability of most cell phones hasn't improved yet.

    Long story short, I currently have an $80 claim on an LG treasure still pending after being UPS'ed back to them at least 2 weeks ago, with a broken screen. And I'm not nervous when it comes to enquiring about it. Cause back when I first called them to check on my claim status, all of a sudden I get stuck in what these jerks called the "Random Product verification process", which takes up to 3 business days to complete... Random my **.

    And those 3 should of been up on 6/12 and here it is 6/16 and still no e-gift card in my inbox, or anywhere else for that matter and after numerous emails and at least 2 maybe 3 phone calls, these scumbags have pushed me to the point of giving up and no longer caring about any of it and left me wishing that I could shove that product care plan and busted phone up Asurion's **... And don't foresee anything changing anytime soon. And I don't know what else to do. I am done contacting them, because it is completely useless and their lies and fake apologies only infuriate me even more. Chalk it up as a lesson learned I guess. You can safely bet that I'll never purchase another one ever again!!!

There was nothing that would turn this thing on. Yes I immediately call my insurance provider and it was such an easy transaction. By the following day I had my new phone. Well yes you have to pay the deductible but it's a lot cheaper than paying $800 for a new phone. A phone insurance that you can trust.

    The replacement phone was defective and had to be replaced two weeks after receiving it. HUGE INCONVENIENCE. I was unable to receive critical communications or make or receive calls for three business days because of the severe nature of the complex failure of the phone.

    I was sent a phone with a little crack in the camera. I didn't think much about it. It did not affect me. Now a month later I was answering a call and my finger broke the glass on the camera. I called and the lady I spoke to told me it was my fault, and void the warranty. I asked if there was anything they could do she said "yes file a claim" and spent another 150 dollars that I just spent a month ago. Working in the customer service area for a while now and know that's not how you treat them. I would like a member of management to call me and make this right.

    The phone itself does not work properly. Drops calls repeatedly and the home button does not work continuously. Imagine the phone is refurbished? Does this happen often? My daughter's claim was handled beautifully. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
