The first replacement phone I received did not have a working headphone jack. I am not sure how that would have missed Asurion's "testing" process. The lady who helped me on the phone was rude and said I had to call back to get a new one.

I was very satisfied with my person who helped me. He went over everything very clearly and we solved my problem. He was very courteous and helpful. My phone is working perfectly and he checked the battery from his end and said it is good.

When I received my first replacement cellular telephone it was defective. The camera did not work and I had to send it back, which would have been no big deal; however, I was advised that a new phone would not be sent to me until I sent them a copy of my driver's license along with an affidavit form. I feel that this was unnecessary and I was totally inconvenienced as this delayed my new phone being sent to me. Once it was, the new phone actually worked and so far, I have not had a problem. But for the money that I pay per month, plus the $150.00 fee, I would expect much more. As in a new phone, not a refurbished one and not have to do more work on MY part when it was not my fault that a defective, already used phone was sent to me.

Extremely fast service! I received excellent customer service from Jasmine when my new phone wouldn't download my apps. She walked me through resetting my phone and even took the extra time to call me back and make sure everything was working.

Recently my phone was water damaged and no longer fully functional. We contacted Asurion, who replaced it quickly. The instructions provided were very clear. There was a little paperwork to do, after which phone was replaced promptly. Very grateful for the service.

Addition responded very quickly to my request for a new phone when I lost my prior phone. Easy online claim process resulted in a replacement phone within 3 days. Very please with the service and would highly recommend it. Have used it before for my kids phones. Great to have the extra protection.

Replacement phone was delivered to my home on the as promised... Replacement was in good condition with the return label and packaging. Damaged phone was promptly returned as requested... Overall the experience was good and glad that we had the Asurion coverage. Though we had to pay for the replacement it is much less than purchasing a new phone.

I e-mailed you to say the replacement phone you sent has a lump on the back of it. Battery won't last a full day with use. Still waiting for a reply. So... all in all I would rate your service as terrible.

I was satisfied. The first replacement phone was a dud. That was frustrating after spending time at Verizon getting it loaded with my information. I was without a working phone for a couple days. Luckily, my local Verizon store let me use a loaner. Customer reps were helpful and courteous.

Thank you for the replacement phone. It was really worth the insurance payments and the deductible. My son's new phone works great! The service was quick and very easy directions. With the new phone and Apple support, the phone was up and running within an hour.

Upon submitting my request to replace my phone, I received my replacement very quickly and intact. I was easily able to return the damaged device (Broken Phone Screen) and had no issues. I will gladly use the Asurion claim process again in the future for any needs that I have.

I accidentally washed my phone in the washing machine. I called on a Friday to report my incident and had my new phone by Monday. I was very please with the service. I would recommend this place to anyone and am very glad I purchased the insurance like I did.

I received this phone through Asurion on June 3rd 2017. I did not examine the phone after receiving it. I have not drop this phone at all, but I notice there's a crack in it. This phone is also protected with an OtterBox protective case.

I had an incident with the tablet in my vehicle. The charging port caught on fire. I contacted Verizon and filed the claim. I was so glad I had insurance. I had a new tablet in 48 hours. The Asurion representatives were very polite and expeditious and solved my problems and making sure I was ok. It wasn't just about the device. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

Everything was great but the process was a bit lengthy. Love the protection but would love a more simple process with same protection guarantee. I don't have a printer readily available so I had to print it off at FedEx Kinkos and find certain numbers etc. I spent around $8 getting in the computer trying to get everything that I needed for the form.

The first replacement would not charge with my car charger which worked fine on my daughter’s phone identical to the replacement. It would charge by electric outlet charger but would only stay charged for two hours. Second phone was sent right away and it does work. But this left me without a phone for a week. Representatives were really great to work with.

My replacement phone came with a used battery I presume because it discharges rather quickly even after killing all the applications running in background. The touch screen periodically hangs up and doesn't respond to swipe. The replacement was simple and quick. It would have been nice to get a new phone but this refurbished one is working well.

I received the new phone quickly and was easily able to transfer my data (well, I had the local Verizon store do it). It's been a pain to re-log into all the apps, but oh well. BUT, the new phone's speaker starts loudly then goes away. And I can't hear apps or calls after a few seconds.

Galaxy s7 Edge: Had a cracked screen. The new phone was shipped and received quickly. The new phone activated with no problem and works great. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and helpful and made it a great experience. The insurance cost was also less than I had thought it would be so that was great!

Got insurance by Rogers on my 2 iPhones. I was told that if anything happen to my phone I would get a new one. Well I got a REFURBISHED iPhone from Asurion, after paying $200+. I got cheated by both parties. I will cancel my insurance and my line with Rogers.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with any company in the entire world. Even the CEO apparently doesn't really have much information about the company itself. They got my phone, my refund was given back, but my phone is still under a blacklist. I was told by the CEO apparently, that it should take 24-48 hours for activation. Apparently this company doesn't know anything about math in general, because they keep saying that but it hasn't been activated in 2 weeks. DO NOT EVER GET ROGERS CARE. Or if you see Asurion ANYWHERE, do NOT TRUST.

I was on the phone with a representative and he told me about Asurion and how it would be quick and easy to get my phone replaced. By me having insurance on my phone the price of it wasn't too bad to get it replaced. It took two days (a day and a half) for my phone to arrive, it's a very easy route to choose if you're ever in a need for a new phone!

My phone dropped to the floor with a hardened case. The phone would not recharge. I went twice to Verizon, it was tested and problem confirmed. We reported the problem to Asurion. My new phone arrived next day. Great service and timely. I'm glad.

The battery is horrible on the phone they gave me as a replacement. I'm up at 5:50am and my phone is at 20ish % at noon just about every day. Other than the battery being worthless, the phone is fine. The worker at the Verizon has no idea if it was a brand new phone or a refurb, but he "believed it was a refurb."

Replacement Phone - The online filling process was simple and the phone was shipped very quickly. The phone was the same as the one I had lost and I was very happy. This is the first time I've ever had to use my insurance, even though I've always had it, and it's worth the monthly fee.

I used the insurance to replace a phone I dropped. The replacement is fine, however, I realized the internal speaker doesn't work and I can only hear a telephone call on speaker phone or through the car when synced with my car. It took me a bit to realize it because I often use the speakerphone feature or the hands-free in the car when talking on the phone.

The first replacement phone (iPhone) was completely dysfunctional already. The touchscreen didn't work 75% of the time. I'm not sure how quality control could miss that! The second replacement phone seems fine so far but gets hot when using power hungry apps on low battery.

I purchased a drone, which did not work out of the box. I thought the warranty I purchased would repair or replace the product after the manufacturer told me there is no warranty on the product. Asurion tried to use every excuse in the book not to cover my claim, including saying the manufacturers warranty should apply. The rep on the phone was rude and uncooperative and not at all interested in solving my problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for about 20 minutes. The supervisor came on, was introduced, and then they hung up on me before I could speak. Asurion must be a scam company. They make promises to repair products, take your money, and then refuse to process claims. DON'T TRUST ASURION!!! They aren't worth the time, money or frustration.

I had called to ensure that there was a 15 day return grace period as the materials sent with the phone said 10 days. The replacement phone would not hold a charge and would get hot. I feel insurance phones should be new phones and not phones that were someone else's problems. The time it took to send the replacement was fine but the phone had not been activated and I had to spend 3 hours and make two calls to Apple and one call to Verizon to get the phone going.

The screen on my phone was cracked. It was shattered into a hundred pieces. My phone was replaced the next day... versus 3 or more days with my normal carrier (which is Verizon). Awesome return time. Job well done. I was very pleased. I will definitely continue to pay for the insurance coverage.

I mailed the damaged phone from my mailbox. Did not know to retain tracking number. Received call that phone has not been received after 3 weeks. Likely going to be stuck with $300 bill. I think Asurion should also have the tracking numbers of the envelopes, or ask customers to mail from a secure mail office if this type of envelope is a valuable item for criminals to steal. I can only assume this is what happened to me. Not satisfied with this even if it is the result of mail theft or the mail system losing the phone.

I had to pay $149 even though I think it should have been less. The information said someone would come to me. Didn't happen. I did receive new phone but deductible was way too much for a cracked screen.

Asurion refused to honor the claim. It took 3 weeks and an upper manager from Verizon to make it happen. Then they sent me the wrong phone. This took another 2.5 hour battle on the phone to resolve. Unhappy does not begin to state my dissatisfaction! If I have a choice in insurance carriers I WILL NOT choose Asurion!

The replacement phone came quickly but we had to go to a Verizon store to get a sim card because the iPhone was lost in China and the Delta claim that we initiated did not locate the lost phone. Once she got the Sim card we were able to activate it.

Having never used the replacement service, I had no idea of how the process would unfold. I understand that an email would walk me through, however, there was no email. I called the following day to learn the process had started and that once I received the replacement an email would follow. I was very dissatisfied with my dealing with Asurion. I have been paying insurance on phones for years and I new phone that was damaged due to the fault of ours and not Verizon. Asurion refused to replace saying we did not own the phone long enough. What should have taken one phone call took 10 calls, 3 days and in the end the wrong phone sent. I have completely given up. Kept the wrong phone and have moved on and frankly hope to God I don't need to deal with you again!

We have called twice that we did not get a return envelope. We have asked twice for one since. We were told on June 21st that one had been mailed. It is now July 2nd and no envelope has appeared and ONLY one person has the key to the box. On our last call the male rep was rude and didn't care. He simply said 24 hours or else!

Asurion saved the day in LESS THAN A DAY!!! Wow!!! An unfortunate mishap with my brand new phone happened in the late afternoon. Later that evening, great easy to use telephone support with Asurion and a promise for a replacement phone by overnight delivery. Being so late, I expected it would take two days. Next day, around mid-afternoon, Asurion came through and I received a replacement BRAND NEW PHONE. I highly recommend Asurion as an affordable insurance. I took my phone to a Verizon store after my screen broke. They connected me to your service. The gentleman who I spoke to was not helpful. I asked if I should go try to get the screen fixed, he said yes but he would process my claim. I went to you broke, infix and they were not able to see my claim. I spoke to Asurion again and they said they could no longer fix the claim and would not pay for the fix because they were already sending me out a new phone. I told the rep that I do not want the new phone if they can fix it in the store. She said send the new phone back and I would get as refund for my claim. I am still waiting.

First rep I spoke with three weeks ago hung up on me after he couldn't figure out how to work his headset. Second rep I called right after argued with me for five minutes regarding me not wanting my replacement device sent to my home address in Arizona and instead sent to a different address in California. My new device arrives, the speakerphone function is broken. I call back again a couple days later and try to get an unbroken device. I need it shipped to a difficult address apparently.
I spend quite literally fifteen minutes repeating the address to the rep, spelling it out and asking him to read back the address I gave him. Totally unable to get it right. He asks to put me on a brief hold, hangs up on me instead. Call back, I explain that the last rep hung up on me, nothing he can do and start the whole process over again with the new rep named Dusty. Get to the address part again and he's having a hard time putting it in because of the character limit you have on certain fields. He says he's getting "creative" and after a five minute hold, he tells me that the adjusters put a hold on the address.
He informs me I will not get my phone and that I will need to call back in 24 hours. We wait on hold trying to get ahold of the adjusters for another twenty-seven minutes. I give up and will try back tomorrow. I call the next day and the new rep tells me my address has been approved. "That's great! Please repeat back the address it's going to." The name, street name, and unit number are correct. But Dusty put Chandler, AZ instead of California. The rep fixes it and it puts another hold on my account going to the adjusters.
We wait on hold for the adjusters again, nothing after half an hour. I call back two days later, this new rep is Tina. Explain the situation about how several reps have hung up on me and where I'm at and see if she can help. She seems preoccupied with something else, I ask and she asks to put on a brief hold. I ask if she's going to hang up on me like every other rep, she starts yelling at me saying that she's a new rep and this is procedure. I get upset and demand her supervisor. She immediately hangs up on me. I call back wanting to speak with a supervisor, but then Tina calls me from another phone and tells me, "The line was disconnected."
She asks if I really want to talk to a supervisor. I say yes and she informs me there will be quite a wait and they won't be able to help like she can. She tells me the correct address I need the phone shipped to, says there's no hold and I confirm; I just want to get off the phone (I've now been on for roughly two hours). The phone arrives, I download all my apps in a couple hours. Receive a call from a friend, the phone's broken. The other person sounds extremely muffled and muted. Regretfully call back again to deal with more bologna from you guys.
Have learned my lesson, your reps are useless, I immediately request a supervisor. The rep put a me on hold for forty-two minutes, checking back on the dot every two minutes to see if I'm paying attention. I finally get to a supervisor named Angel and she takes care of my issue promptly and professionally. She's going to send me a new S7 because they don't make the S6 anymore. I'll take a hit on the memory, from my old 64GB, but I just want a new phone that hasn't been "Refurbished by Asurion" cause those are all trash. Phone just arrived this morning. Hopefully I won't be disappointed again, which your company doesn't seem to have a hard time doing.

The amount of time to get my new phone was quick. The only complaint I had was the phone didn't feel very secure in the box. I liked that they included an envelope to send my old phone back. The price was a little expensive but I assume it's because it was a newer phone (Samsung Edge).

The replacement of the LOST phone was very prompt. Getting service started was awkward. We continually asked to transfer information and services from the old/previous phone. The real problem is the REQUIRED turn off of the "find my Phone." We don't have the correct password. Help?

Glad we only had to pay $199 for the replacement iPhone through Asurion instead of entering into a new contract. The process was seamless. Transferring data (esp without help from Verizon) was a real pain however since the phone has more storage than our phone computer!

iPhone replacement - Overall the experience was good. I live in a rural area and needing to get to a place 11 miles from home where I could fax information was inconvenient. Then, the number that I pulled off my iMac didn't match what Asurion had in their records and they needed and consequently cancelled the claim and I had to start over. I will say that the people on the chat facility were helpful and professional. After I contacted Verizon (my carrier) they were able to provide the correct number and I started another claim and all was handled quite well from that point on.

It is a shame Asurion has a monopoly on wireless phone insurance. Your service, used replacement products, and service scheduling practices are disgusting. If someone can seek phone insurance elsewhere, they should do so before considering a contract with a major phone carrier. I cracked my screen and learned I could have it repaired for a lesser deductible. So, I tried this route. I scheduled an appointment for repair at my home. The window was 2-4 hours. Several minutes after the scheduled latest arrival time, the tech called me and advised he was an hour away and just starting another service call and that I would be next in the queue. If I did not have to work that night, this would not have been an issue, but that was not the case. I don't blame the tech--it is not his fault his company and Asurion permit overbooking like the airlines.
So, not wanting to be burned twice, I called Asurion back, paid the higher deductible and waited for my replacement. The phone arrived in a timely manner but was used and the battery in the iPhone7 they sent is trash. It won't hold a charge more than a day with little usage. Considering how much we pay for phone insurance, and seldom take advantage of using this insurance, I would expect them to provide a better replacement. They are just in it for the money obviously and could give a rats about taking care of their customers. Instead of dealing with this company again, I will just buy another phone. I heard you can get a different insurance through Costco, I have not checked it out yet, but this is the last time I use Asurion. Don't waste your money on Asurion.

Speaker went out on my phone and it was very frustrating since this is my only phone. Very helpful and fast and got the phone the next day. Couldn't talk on my phone at all. Nobody could understand or hear me. After 5 hours with Verizon testing they determined it was the microphone on the replacement phone I just received. They got you on the phone and you took care of it super fast!

I shattered my screen on my Galaxy S7 edge. When I filed the claim, they didn't have another S7 in the same color so they offered me an upgrade to the S8. I filled out the form on a Thursday night. There should be a clause, that within 7-14 days, even if moisture gets into the phone, and you've already paid your deductible, you are allowed another at no cost. Recently, I had to get a 2nd replacement, due to moisture. It was not spilled on. I was then told, based on the climate I live in, it happens. Well, they always make me sign via UPS, especially on phones. My last device, they say on my front steps for over 3 hours, in the heat and humidity. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! It was clearly not my fault.

My husband died suddenly 2 years ago, it may also have been linked to his iCloud account. Perhaps this is why it's still not looking disabled. The Samsung S8 replacement went great with one exception. It took forever to do the paperwork to get the process started. We tried to do it while at the Verizon store but it was too cumbersome and we ended up working on it in segments over 2 days. Once I received my phone I immediately put a case on it! After the first day it died at 50% which is unacceptable and randomly shuts off and reboots with 10% remaining. This is a huge inconvenience and should not happen! Then I removed my case just to look at it and the screen and back end had almost split in half. The first phone I was sent was a remanufactured one and had a flaw in that when I had to hit many of the keys 6-8 times when typing a message. I called customer service and the agent was so apologetic and said they would send another phone that day that was guaranteed to be perfect and it was. I received it within 24 hours. I broke my iPhone over a holiday weekend, again. I was able to fill out the form online in ~5-10 minutes. I received a replacement phone two business days later (plus the weekend) and everything was as described. For the cost (monthly fee + $150) I would prefer to exchange at the store and have them handle everything. But otherwise, it was a positive experience. I'd pay a nominal fee to have the store handle it if I could walk out w. a refurbished phone on the same day.

Well I really was happy with the website and the speed the phone arrived. My only issue and it's not a real bad one, is the replacement phone doesn't ring all the time if it stays on for more than 1 day. The camera locks up and will not take pictures until I turn the phone off. The screen locks up quite a bit. I just have not complained because I work 7 days a week 12 hours a day and I don't have time to get online and complain.

The first replacement phone had a defective camera. The second phone had a defective microphone. They ran out of stock on my model (probably because I blew through them all) so they sent me a different model so I got a bit of an upgrade. Which is the only reason I didn't give 1 star. The people on the phone were nice enough. Unfortunately they also told me on the phone my deductible was $100 but then billed me $150. Turns out they used the phone I was calling in with as the basis for my deductible quote (not the one I was actually replacing). And finally... $150 is WAY too high of a deductible for a 2 year old phone.

Asurion gave me the option to deliver to a p.o. box, I get the delivery date of one day. The next day, no phone, it was returned to sender because they don't deliver to p.o. boxes. Why give that option if you can't do it? It was even added automatically without me typing it in. Now I have to wait a whole week for them to receive the package plus the time to wait for them to send it back to me? Completely ridiculous. As soon as I get my phone I will be cancelling the insurance for all 6 of my devices.

The speaker on my phone stopped working so I filed a claim with Asurion. I didn't have any trouble and the whole process of applying took less than an hour. After that, the new phone arrived in just a few days and it was easy to set up.

Asurion is/and has been a customer service orientated business. I've gone online and spoken on the phone with Asurion. They have always been helpful and prompt. The replacement phones have arrived promptly and have always worked. I would definitely and have recommended Asurion to friends.

I am most pleased and I found the website very easy to use. I also they were most helpful in replacing my damaged iPhone 7 Plus which in a fall that cracked the screen. The response time and shipping the replacement arrived intact and undamaged. I will be willing to look to use Asurion again if necessary.

Filing the claim online was very easy and I received my phone(iPhone) promptly. My phone arrived when it was supposed to and returning damaged phone in provided envelope was simple. I got what I paid for!

The process was simple and very quick. I was very surprised and pleased. I could do everything online and the replacement phone came in the mail when they said it was going to be. Usually when you have to claim on insurance they give you the runaround but not this time.

Very satisfied with the fast delivery and the replacement phone! First time using this insurance and I absolutely love it. The monthly fee for the insurance is not expensive at all and it’s better than going to buy another brand new phone that cost $200+. The price I paid was very doable and in my price range. The customer service was amazing. Friendly and seemed like they really cared about their jobs. Definitely would recommend them to a friend.

My iPhone 6 needed replacing. Asurion sent a new phone and I mailed mine back. My only complaint is that I later got an automated call asking if I'd returned it and I would owe $300 if I hadn't. I did but didn't have tracking information. So they emailed for me to confirm and I did.

All reps I spoke with had excellent customer service skills. They went above and beyond to ensure our transaction went smoothly. Would definitely recommend them again. And once we got two phones that didn't work properly they sent an immediate replacement.

I received my phone a couple weeks ago and everything was working great! Loved how quick it got here. The phone had fingerprints on it but I didn't mind. Yesterday my iPhone 7's camera stopped working. Every time I try and use it glitches out and the screen goes black! Not satisfied!

I have had a cellphone for over 30 years & never had to file an insurance claim on one of them! I had a "Lifetime" screen protector on my screen & my phone in a case. I dropped it again, picked up my phone & saw the damages. We went to Verizon yesterday.

While in Rifle, Colorado, I lost my phone. I spent two days looking at the place I lost it to no avail. Finally I called you folks and you had a new phone for me in two days. My experience was a NIGHTMARE!! It took almost 2 weeks to get a replacement phone for my son!! He was at University of Kansas, & needed his phone for class. I'm in CA and it felt awful not to be able to help him! There were sooo many hoops to jump thru!

The replacement phone I was sent keeps freezing. The touchscreen stops working for hours at a time. I tried restarting it multiple times but sometimes even that won't work. There doesn't seem to be anything in particular that triggers it. It just happens randomly.

I inadvertently left my cell phone on the roof of my car. After driving about 1/2 mile it fell off onto the street. By the time I stopped and found a place to park, the phone had already been run over. The insurance co (Asurion) was very prompt in replacing it. Lesson learned: Never put your cell phone on the roof of your car.

Everybody I spoke to at Asurion was polite and helpful. I am grateful that they made my experience so pleasant. I am very happy working with this company. The one complaint I have is, my phone is a Galaxy S8, I had to buy a completely new replacement phone rather than just having the screen replaced. Now my problem was that nobody I spoke to knew when Samasung S8 phone screens would be available. But other than that, great.

Unit dropped, cracked screen multiple times. Replacement shipped next day with a return mailer for my Verizon tablet to be swapped out. I would recommend this service to everyone that has a variety of wireless units. Asurion has very prompt service at reasonable rates.

The process to request a service was very effective. I received my new phone fast. I'm very satisfied with everything. I received a new phone by mail with all the instruction to return the damaged phone. I never had phone insurance before because I did not believe in it, now I think is a good protection, just in case!!!

The device got here promptly and for that I am glad. However, the device came with a bad battery. The phone doesn't last more than three hours of continuous use and rarely makes it through a day of very limited use.

This is BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had with a company of this nature. I filed a claim regarding my cell phone a month ago. The phone screen on my iPhone 7+ was cracked. The phone was fully functioning and still working, but after speaking to the rep and being told it was only $112 to replace, I decided that was worth it and I would move forward with the claim. The first time they sent my phone, they sent it to an unknown address in Orlando, Florida for no known reason. That address had nothing to do with our account. Then they sent me the correct phone, and I sent mine back. Everything was fine at that point.
Two weeks later I receive our bill and it says $225 for the replacement phone. So not only was I BLATANTLY lied to, but they charged me TWICE as much. The best part is we called to speak to customer service and they said they wanted to listen to the recording to see if their rep did indeed say it was only $112. After listening to the recording they knew they were in the wrong and STILL did nothing. They offered us a $25 gift card for our "inconvenience" and that was IT. "Oh sorry we stole $112 from you, but here is $25 to make us even..." What kind of lying disgusting company treats their customers like this? I hate the fact that I ever decided to join AT&T and pay for this complete SCAM of an insurance plan. AT&T and Asurion should both be completely ashamed.
I wish I had the money to take this to court and hire an attorney for false advertisement, because I'd love to do so just to show these companies they can't treat people like this. It truly is sad that they feel the need to take advantage of less fortunate people that don't have the money when they are making millions on a daily basis. I wish Asurion nothing but the absolute worse in the future. This is terrible, terrible karma and it will come back to bite you. If I could have given zero stars I would have done it in a heartbeat.
