The back glass of my phone was cracked and I couldn't upgrade it in the condition it was in. A guy working at Verizon recommended this site and I was able to have a new phone the next day! Very fast service! I didn't even realize how slow my old phone was until I started using the new one from Asurion. It was also very easy to switch my old phone to the new one. The new phone came with directions to switch the data from one to the other and a package to send the old phone back.

My phone shattered and I put in a claim and my claim was handled quickly. I received my phone in 2 days and was able to set it up and return the damaged one. I would recommend Asurion for insurance coverage.

My screen kept getting stuck on very dim screen every time my phone went to sleep. I was instructed to do a factory restart which fixed the problem. I of course would have preferred to fix it without having to wipe everything and start over, but I am happy it is fixed.

I have had excellent claims handling with Asurion. I like being able to process my claim online. No phone call necessary. The application is user friendly and the approval is quick. I like paying the deductible online, and I love how quick your replacement phone arrives. I have had more than one claim, and am grateful that I don't have to buy a new phone. I have complimented Asurion whenever the topic of phone damage comes up amongst my friends and family.

I brought the cellphone to Verizon while it was still under warranty. I was under the impression from Verizon that there would be a determination of the cause of my phones defect, and that if my phone had a warranty covered defect that I would not have to use the insurance. The insurance claim cost me $149.00 for the deductible. I never got a reply from Asurion as to what the cause of the defect on my cell phone.

My phone's microphone broke and needed a replacement quick. The entire process of submitting a claim all the way up until receiving the replacement phone was simple to follow step by step of way. We received new phone within 48 hours of submitting the request on a Saturday. That was a plus!

What an absolute pleasure working with Asurion! Within LESS than 15 hours we had the replacement phone in hand! Service was fabulous and extremely easy to navigate through the online claim process. Placed the call on or about 9 pm and by 10 am the next morning - we had the new phone! Retiring the damaged phone was easy as well! Thank you!!!

My 22 year old daughter lost her iPhone while out one night. We submitted a claim for the lost phone to Asurion via Asurion's website. We received a replacement phone within two days. The claim submission process was easy, and the response time was great. It was very enjoyable experience.

Asurion sent a defective phone. I found out the phone was defective after switching carriers. They refused to replace the defective phone, citing the warranty was null and void after switching carriers. When I asked for a written copy of the warranty, they refused.

My phone had to be ordered and I feel that I should have been able to get one from the Verizon Store. The customer service people were knowledgeable and courteous. My replacement phone however doesn't function as well as the one that was broken.

I'm happy to have received my replacement phone within 24 hours. It's great to have a refurbished unit with no stuck buttons and a pink line down one side. I was able to transfer everything from the old phone. I returned my old phone like requested in the pre-paid envelope. The disclaimer statement needs to be bigger for the part where Samsung phones you cannot remove the battery! I finally noticed after calling the 1-800 number and getting passed around and no real person. Thanks for my replacement!

They did not have my phone Galaxy s6 edge in stock so they upgraded me to the next phone higher which was a Galaxy s7 for FREE! They were extremely fast in shipping the phone. I will always have insurance on my phones with service like Asurion provides.

The phone I received as a replacement is junk. Everyone I connect with says they cannot hear me. The phone goes in and out as far as connecting. I found someone else's calendar events on the phone and there are certain settings that I cannot undo!!

It was a difficult process. I went through the website which told me I had to call. I had trouble hearing and understanding the person I was talking to. She did not explain the whole process. Then she had my email wrong. Had to call back. She could not hear or understand me (same person). Then I had trouble finding the information because the device had not been synced. Also could not turn off “find my phone.”

The service was fast. Got phone the next day. Watch help me a lot. Because that how I keep up with my family. Customer service is the nice, talking to the on the other end of the phone, was very helpful in the information I needed. My phone arrived in a timely manner. Doing business with this company was very satisfied experience. We need people like this helping you when everything else is going wrong. Good business makes a company more likely to go to for the customer needs. Plus when you are in hurry, having someone who understand makes a big difference between having a bad or good day. Phone was replaced in 24 hours. Much faster than I could've wished for with short notice and over a weekend. Phone damaged when accidentally dropped into sea on vacation out of the country. Got home on Friday and had new phone next day.

Time and delivery of my replacement phone was a "5". However, it would not connect to the Verizon Network. After three days of attempts to connect, had to call you to send me a second phone that works great. Folks I talked with were very nice. In all, my rating of a 4 is about right for the added difficulty of trying to figure out why the first replacement would not connect.

This is the second time I've gotten a replacement phone that has problems. The power button sticks, the volume button sticks. All out crap replacement phone... again. Last time it was speaker problems with an echo. Now button problems. Once contract is up with Verizon we will not be choosing a company that uses your company for the insurance.

Phone needed screen repair and they were able to come out to the location to do so... However, the tech. said it was bent so would need to replace phone & new phone would be sent out immediately. However, it wasn't sent out right away and it took a phone call from me and almost a full week to get the new phone. Then they charged me for the screen repair plus the full cost of the new phone. Another phone call from me and the double charge was refunded. In the end it all worked out but didn't like having to call several times to get everything done.

Samsung S7 Edge - To be honest I read some reviews and was quite concern to deal with this company but when my replacement phone arrived my fears were laid to rest, I didn't like the idea of a refurbished phone but it was in great shape, working like new, same brand and model. I would deal with them again if needed and recommend to all buying new phones. The deductible was worth it when you are dealing with a 800 dollar phone.

I would have replaced my phone within the 24 hour time of originally claimed. However having to print up paperwork and send that in. Which my husband didn't have to was disheartening. I understand policy and the need of some contractual agreements. I tried going to one of the VZ stores to see if they could help me print up the paperwork and they "couldn't or wouldn't" so almost 2 months later I finally find a computer to use and print up said paperwork. I just wish some people would be willing to go the extra mile to help their customers. (Working in retail myself, it's just automatic. Unfortunately, for many these days it's not).

My wife dropped her iPhone7 in a local lake. It was deep and irretrievable. We immediately visited the local Verizon store, verified our insurance, purchased a new cover and called Asurion. After completing the initial claim form, I received my replacement phone the next day. Come to find out, that phone had other issues - with the speakers. Phone was delivered the next day. Took iTunes iCloud longer to backup & setup phone than replacement process. Replacement phone had lots & lots of storage, color I liked, almost felt like upgrade. Phone was damaged & Verizon told me it was not so I made sure it was damaged. Asurion never gave me a problem.

I was back up and running with my new phone in less than 24 hrs. I had even had a total loss of my phone. I submitted my claim online and was ready go. Phone came as they stated first thing the next morning. Took me longer to get everything set up I wanted on my phone than it did to get the phone.

I bought a fridge from Home Depot with extended warranty from Asurion. The fridge stopped working so I called asurion to schedule repair. I was told that they could not cover the repair because the fridge was abused. I asked to speak to supervisors to no avail. The abused fridge still has the protective plastic that it came with. I invested 2500.00 for the fridge plus the cost of extended warranty. I had a bad experience with them. I would not buy appliance at home depot because they do business with Asurion. They take money but will do repairs.

Once they didn't have my phone in stock so they sent me Best buy credit for the full price of the phone instead. 10/10 would recommend.

I was unaware of the deductible. So that was a bit of a shock. It was not explained well and I did not inquire properly when I purchased the insurance. It was also not as timely as I thought it would've been. Believe I was without a replacement for a week, again partly because of my availability to be home to sign off for the package. I understand the need for a signature, however maybe there could be a option to ship to a local store that has more reasonable hours. Wait a entire day for a delivery is very annoying. I was also told my phone was no longer available, but when it arrived it indeed was the same phone that I had had prior to the incident. Not sure about that process either.

I had a cracked screen and the replacement of the phone was no cost, and easy. It's a genuine attempt at good customer service. However, the replacement device I was sent can't hold a charge for even a day. It behaves differently, and has different updates or apps(?) that make it slightly different and drain the battery. It's too much work to complain and try for a better replacement. I guess I can't expect a new phone, but the replacement isn't great, thus 3 stars.

The reason for the bad review is that I had to wait way too long for service. 3 weeks in my opinion is far too long. I feel like I pay for the insurance to have the replacement within a day or 2. I talked to several people throughout the process and they were very professional and courteous. I just think the process needs to be much faster.

While the replacement process was fairly easy, the first phone that was sent to me was defective so I had to start the process over again. It's a not a huge deal, but it's a pain to have to set up multiple devices and link and unlink and relink your iCloud account.

I lost my phone and asked for a replacement which arrived promptly. Then I found my lost phone and contacted Asurion to see if I could reactivate my lost phone and send the new phone back. Both interactions were handled with professionalism. The Asurion representatives were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I could not have asked for better service! Bravo.

I washed my husband's iPhone 6. Had insurance. Paid for a new phone at AT&T store so he would have a phone while I tried to get it replaced. I have been to 2 AT&T stores and filled the claim form for a replacement 3 times sending in the required ID, following instructions from AT&T and customer care personnel. I have called numerous times and been cut off, placed in loops of no return, and transferred into thin air. 4 months later no replacement - just inane requests for more information, faxed or uploaded docs, denials of claim and e-mailed requests to call back.
Considering another carrier after 20 years - worst customer service experience I can recall. If the replacement ever shows up I still have to pay $250 deductible after paying monthly premiums of $8 since 2014. After this experience, I would never recommend either AT&T or Asurion to friends, colleagues or family members. Recommend getting phone through Apple or another source that honors the warranty and the insurance it sells.

I had my iPhone 6s replaced at the end of May and I paid almost 200.00 to replace it. Today I was sitting eating at lunch and suddenly it crashes. It will not turn on at all. I am highly upset. The phone was fully charged and worked well that morning. I've never experienced this with my iPhone and feel as though I was given a defective phone. I am currently without a phone.

Faxed receipt to Asurion as requested for replacement telephone that was pre approved by Asurion. Was told check would arrive in 7-10 business days. Waited 2 weeks and called again. Talked to Maria in the "CEO's Office" who apologized, said they didn't receive the fax, and asked me to take a photo of the receipt and send it to her via email, which I did. She responded immediately that she received my emailed receipt and had forwarded to Accounting, I would receive my check in 7-10 business days.
I waited another 2 weeks and emailed Maria that I still had not received my check. I received NO RESPONSE from Maria **. I called the "CEO's Office" again and spoke with Maurnice **, who asked me to email her front and back copies of my receipt including how I paid. She remained on the phone with me, typed everything up and requested that the check was overnighted to me. She promised to call the next day with a tracking number. Three days later she called back without a tracking number. I asked who I needed to talk to, but she said she would see what was going on and get me a tracking number. That was yesterday. I have not heard back from her. I just attempted to track my refund online, but am unable to do so. Could someone please help me. I am paying interest on my credit card for this $750 and I can't get anyone who can tell me where my check is!

I am not pleased with my experience because I insured the phone under the impression that if damaged the same make, model and color of the phone would be replaced. I received the same make and model but learned the color (gold) was discontinued, so the phone replacement came in black. I am not pleased with the color of the phone at all.

I purchased coverage for my phone and the screen broke so I filed a claim which they denied saying I wasn't using the phone. They asked for date of occurrence on the affidavit but said I did not list date of last use, then they said I wasn't using my phone. They refused talk to me about it when I called them. Then they just disconnect you. I called my carrier who said they deny everyone they can and then make it next to impossible to file a claim. They said the next thing they usually do is they will say that you didn't return the phone to them if you send it in for repair.
Why pay for insurance through this scam company? Why does my carrier work with such scumbags? Because of this experience and the recent poor dishonest service from the Verizon stores, our company is leaving Verizon, that's over 150 lines. Verizon used to be great, now they have turned into that super sales driven, screw the customer every way they can, lie straight to your face kind of company.

Overall okay with replacement phone. The phone gets stuck and freezes when using safari and apps. Also it seems to load things really slow. I have to turn it off and back on. Quite frustrating at times but I am happy to not have a cracked phone anymore.

I repeatedly ask the Asurion rep if I was going to get an iPad Pro 12.9 to replace the 12.9 that I lost. She told me that yes a 12.9 inch iPad Pro was going to be sent, only to have sent out a 10.5 inch iPad Pro. I had to call up Asurion again to have this fixed. I was sent out the correct 12.9 inch iPad the second time because I talked to a Verizon specific rep. I don't know if that made a difference but the second rep was able to get me what I needed. From the time I originally filed the claim to when I finally received my correct equipment was almost 2 weeks. That's far too long for an essential device that I use for my business.

However, the phone wouldn't hold my settings, did funky things with Facebook and finally blacked out on Friday so I was back to Verizon to request another. Asurion does not. 3 claims later, hours with Verizon, & Asurion, 3 hours repair session at home to get proper IMEI no. in the system. IMEI still not fixed. My phone not repaired.

The process to get the lost phone replaced was very smooth. The phone delivered seemed to be dirty on the surface (grimy around camera and some adhesive residue). It's a little glitchy, but it will work until a new phone is purchased.

My phone (iPhone 6s) broke on a Monday. I contacted Asurion, had my replacement by Tuesday afternoon. Awesome right? The phone they sent me was refurbished, and defective. It powered on fine, but in the set-up, it would not accept a SIM card. I tried my original SIM card, the one that came with the replacement phone, and half a dozen others at Verizon (my carrier).
I contacted Asurion again that night, and was told that I had a new phone on the way and should receive it Wednesday. Wednesday morning I woke up to an email stating that I needed to complete an affidavit in order to complete the claim. Which is fine, but not what I was told. I completed the form and submitted it, and called Asurion. I was told it can take a while 24 hours to process the form. It was processed Wednesday night (woo!) but too late for an express delivery for Thursday (boo). I called Asurion AGAIN, this time to state my displeasure in the process and that I wasn't told the truth, and when a representative answered, I could tell she knew they had messed up. She immediately apologized and told me they would be upgrading me to the 120gb iPhone 6s. I received a brand new phone Friday.
The only reason I didn't give a 1/5 rating is because the last representative seemed to be the only person I talked to in the process that understood what was going on, and she generously upgraded me. Other than that, instead of having a working phone within 24 hours, it took 4 days. So in the end I was taken care of, but not in a quick manner.

Tried service twice now. Both while traveling. First was broke upon arrival. Second lasted a month. Since traveling I was forced to upgrade due to not being able to wait a day. Wish the carriers could replace instead. Insurance is for emergency situations and I couldn't use it because I needed a phone asap. Now what do with my old phone that was insured and is broke? My phone was stolen and I received a replacement phone. I received the phone in a timely fashion, which was great. I'm not completely satisfied with the refurbished phone because it doesn't hold a charge as well as my other phone. I was very disappointed that I had to spend $150 and use my phone replacement for a simple screen crack. I was told there was nothing they could do but only offer me that when I live in the suburbs of the largest city of Arizona, state capital.

A replacement phone was sent shortly after the paperwork was in which worked out well for my son who was working out of town. The only issue was the high fine possibilities for not returning damaged phone on time or not turning off the find my phone feature. My son was pretty sure he had never turned that feature on, but has never been able to access his Apple account to be sure.

I tried to warranty my iPad online and was having issues. I called and immediately was helped and overnighted a new one. They did not have the one I had in stock so they were able to upgrade me. I was super thankful for their speedy help!

My mom called today to inquire about a claim, however after consulting with me over the phone, we decided NOT to file a claim with Asurion. Our AT&T contract expires tomorrow 7/27/17 and therefore I agreed not to do it since they usually charge the claim on our next billing cycle. After tomorrow, we will not be with AT&T anymore.
After my mom's call, I received an email that an iPhone 7, rose gold, 32gb was being shipped to our address. My mom has an iPhone 6, with 16gb and doesn't know what rose gold means. We immediately called Asurion and we explained to the lady that we had not agreed to claim the phone. After speaking to her for 10 minutes she ended up apologizing for the mistake that her teammate had done. However, she wasn't able to resolve anything. She said the only thing we can do is return the iPhone and wait for the next billing cycle with AT&T. But when the bill for the iPhone we didn't claim comes, there will be no account open with AT&T. So who do we go to pay an iPhone we will return and no one ordered?
I am very upset at the fact that a worker decided to complete an order for something we didn't request. However, the worst part is that I am the one who will suffer the consequences for a mistake Asurion made. And their answer is "sorry, we cannot do anything about it." Great! But of course they can charge you as soon as no one agreed for this? And also bad service or common courtesy; I am the account holder, shouldn't there have been a call made for my approval? As the account owner, why am I not notified about this? This could have been my child calling and requesting a new cellphone. Asurion why can you hire competent workers that ensure a satisfactory and rewarding customer experience? What about my credit, will it suffer now because of your mistake? Does that worker get to go home satisfied with his job? Will he ever know he made this mistake? This is so frustrating and I cannot do anything about it.

My phone rattles, I didn't know my replacement phone was going to be a used phone. There's something loose on the inside so when it's on vibrate it rattles, plus if I shake it, it rattles. I am not pleased that my "new" phone rattles.

Your service was fast, had the phone in two days. Charged it and was working great. Only one thing, I did not receive a sim's key to put the sim card in. Had to go to a Verizon store which is two hours from where we live. Other than that great.

I think that you guys did the right thing. You tried to get it to me earlier but unfortunately the person I spoke to on the phone Misquoted the arrival date since it was on a weekend and it was overnight shipped. It didn't arrive till two days later where he said it would be shipped overnight but a Sunday was involved. I also have my daughter who that's her phone. Trying to reach you because there's some issues with the phone. I guess it was refurbished. The battery shuts off. And also the GPS is not working.

Your insurance doesn't state that you cannot replace the iPhone 7 Plus cracked screen. So instead of paying the $79.00 the guy at Verizon (and our policy) said I would pay, we had to pay for a $200.00 replacement phone. I would have been fine with this if it would have been noted in the contract, but it isn't. False advertising, bait and switch. Completely dishonest contract. Will never use your insurance again when our contract is up with Verizon.

I made the call. Don't like having to do. But I broke the glass on my phone. It was pretty new at the time. The assistant was very helpful, very professional. My phone was in the next day. It’s well worth having insurance on my phone. Thank you!

I was extremely happy with the way I was treated by the phone rep. The phone came right away as promised. The only problem is that we received a sim card for an Apple phone instead of a droid (according to Verizon rep). They overrode it and it works fine.

I made an insurance claim over the phone which was a very quick and easy process. The representative I spoke with was very helpful. I received the replacement phone within a few days and returned the damaged phone. Overall it was a good experience making the insurance phone claim with Asurion.

Thank you for allowing FedEx to deliver without a signature of package receipt. In the past, it was always inconvenient/stressful to be tied to the house for an entire day waiting for UPS to personally sign for the new device. Love easy & fast!

The process was smooth and simple. It did not take long at all to receive my phone. The longest part of the process was me transferring data from one phone to the next. Overall Asurion made it simple to receive my replacement phone and send back my non-working phone.

Asurion made the situation better by providing easy filing and expedient claim processing. The phone received was in new condition including the box, charger and headphones. Excellent job! Returning my old damaged phone was equally as easy of a process, simply turn off find my iPhone and reset, insert in the provided envelope.

I damaged my cell phone by getting it wet. At the Verizon store in El Paso, Texas, a salesperson assisted me with a call to my Asurion insurance representative. I provided the requested information and within 3 weekend days, I received a replacement cell phone. Speedy service and competent assistance.

After a day of fishing, our son's iPhone was lost in the river. So glad we had insurance on his phone. This was the first time we had ever had insurance on any cell phones. It was worth it! I sent in a claim and we had a phone in 2 days. Easy process. Great experience. Very happy. Replacement phone looked exactly like other that was lost. Would recommend insurance on phone.

I requested a replacement device when my phone was damaged and the new one was shipped immediately. I called the next morning to cancel it because I thought phone was OK and they were really great saying I can just return the new phone and I would be refunded back the deductible. Super friendly and helpful. Turns out my phone was damaged so I called back and they said, "No problem. Just continue the claim" as I originally planned. Thanks Asurion.

So far so good, everything happened the way they said it would. The billing, the return of the old device, the arrival of the new device, no surprises and I like that the most. I had regular updates via my email and every step was explained to me in a logical manner.

Everything was sent to me the next day. Phone works great. They really helped with my questions and concerns. Helped me understand my options I had with replacing my phone. They were nice and friendly. The guy I spoke with was very helpful in explaining the process of the payment plan that I still have for my phone. I no longer have the phone since it was stolen but the replacement works a lot better than the old one.
