    This was my first experience with Asurion, and I found it to be very quick and easy. Not a lot of paper work involved and they provided the return envelope and shipping.     I was recently told I could no longer insure phones because I already had 3 claims in one year. I'm in construction so there is a reason for the phone to have insurance. I agreed it's unfortunate. 2 of the 4 phones I've had as replacements has issues like they were not fixed before being sent back out. So it's not like I got 4 new phones. I think you should reconsider dropping me from the insurance plan.

    Asurion has the phone exchange program fairly close to 100% efficiency. The new phone arrived within 24 hours with the proper hardware settings (memory) already installed. The refurbished phone has a brand new case (I checked the case with a magnifying glass looking for any sign of wear or scratches and could find none, so confirmed new), battery, screens & connector ports. So basically only the motherboard & on board memory is from the old phone. The return process was simple with lots of help (there are even YouTube videos showing you how to do it). Honestly, if they were to ask me for any recommendations on how to improve their process, I would have nothing to offer. I was very happy with the entire process.

    I left my cell phone charging on a table in a restaurant and went to the restroom and when I came back, the phone was gone. I am active duty army and assigned to Naples, Italy. At the time my phone was taken, I was in the United States to promote my daughter who is also in the military. Asurion did replace my phone, however, they would not mail it to my current duty station in Italy which was an inconvenience for me. It took me over a month to actually receive the replacement phone. I had to send it to my daughter in the States and she had to mail it to me in Italy.

    Her schedule did not permit her to get to the post office prior to closing and this delayed me getting my phone. Since there are hundreds of thousands of military personnel who are stationed overseas, my recommendation is that Asurion change their policy to accommodate military personnel who are assigned overseas. Asurion representative did a wonderful job assisting me and my phone was sent out in a timely manner and I'm glad that I had the coverage. It saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you!

    I don't know how they call this insurance. After paying a monthly premium for at least four years and a deductible of $159 I was sent a defective replacement for a lost phone. Verizon quickly determined it to be bad. Wasn't as lucky with the second replacement. Literally was on the phone with Verizon and Apple for three hours to again have it be determined the phone was bad. Verizon thankfully directly sent me the third phone apologizing for everything that happened and giving me a credit on my next bill. This time it worked as it should have with the first. Obviously no quality control.

    After my phone was stolen I requested a replacement from Asurion. The first phone I received had a malfunctioning Wi-Fi and Bluetooth receiver. I used the phone for about a week because I had to have it for work and could not have any downtime. Of course this ate up my data! I received a second replacement after calling into tech-support. The tech made me wipe my entire phone and was very rude during the process - she questioned my ability to back up to my phone and also was very cut and dry about I could not get a new phone.

    I would have to continue to receive yet another two year old refurbished phone. I had called Apple to verify that they could not help me with my phone and of course it was no longer under an Apple warranty because the phone was from 2015. So I receive my second replacement and it was even more horrible than the first! You could only hear static when placing calls and the screen was malfunctioning greatly. I could not even press numbers to make a phone call to activate the phone.

    I called in after a difficult process I finally received a third replacement. My third replacement was half the gigabyte size of my first and second replacement and my original phone. The tech lied to me and told me that I could expand the memory on the iPhone 7 that she was sending me. When I went into the Verizon store, Verizon tech told me flat out that was a lie and was embarrassed that you guys had told me that you can expand the memory on an iPhone 7 through an SD card. I will be canceling my insurance through you all and not recommend it in the future at all. I have received a horrible customer service and replacement experience!

    The refurbished device I received worked fine until I was conveniently out of the 14 day window. On day 17, I was told by one of your representatives that, since I was out of the window, I would have to pay yet another $99.00 deductible. Refusing to pay yet another deductible, I opted to buy a NEW phone, not wanting to continue investing in products which were not truly warranted (for one year, as stated in paperwork which accompanied the last replacement device).

    In the future, I will not be praising Asurion to friends or family. I have four devices on Verizon, and have carried insurance on each for at least 4 years - paying monthly for insurance. This has not left me feeling that insurance is worthwhile to carry - especially for a phone model that is over four years old, if when three days outside of a warranty window, I am told you would require another deductible (with no room to discuss any consideration to be given otherwise). Thank you for your consideration regarding this major contract flaw.

    I broke my screen to my phone, A Samsung Galaxy J7. I submitted the claim. I had been told by Verizon when I signed up for insurance that it would be within 24 hours my device would be fixed/replaced. They would not let me replace my screen only locally. I had to wait for a replacement phone. The replacement phone was first 3-7 days, then 7-10 days, then they had an unknown back order date. They did try to give me an alternative phone, but I didn't feel that this alternative was equivalent/as good as my phone. They would not notify me anything to do with updates of the back ordered phone, I had to keep calling to check in.

    Finally I complained to Verizon which said they had many of them in stock, so not sure why it would be back ordered so long. It then was still back ordered longer from Asurion, but finally the phone came. It was in good shape, the back was a little bent, but other than that it is functional and easy to ship the old one back. I was highly disappointed with the wait time, especially since I was originally told that I could have my phone replaced by insurance within 24 hours and it took 20 days, so 20 days without a phone and still paying for my cell phone bill is a really long time and a big difference from a single day.

    The other major disappointment was that since it was just the screen, I should be able to just go to any local repair shop (which I was also told when I go the insurance plan over the phone, however the website has a star saying depending on your area) and get it fixed, due to my zip code (I live by a huge city, but outside the city) they said there was none available even though I said I would be willing to drive up to 1 hour. So overall satisfied with the replacement product thus far, but very dissatisfied with the wait time.

    Using Asurion for A Decade Now. Pros/Before: Phone was always delivered quickly, the quality of the phone and accessories (which included everything) was new or like new, and the process was simple. Cons/Now: Price has increased, but the quality has decreased. The process of getting a new phone is also harder when your phone isn't working properly because they only insure certain things. However, if you lose your phone completely, you can easily get a new one. My experience: A couple of years ago, my phone from Asurion didn't work properly from day one, it was a bad refurbished phone. A month ago, the new phone I have now works great so far. However, the accessories are no longer Samsung, they are cheap chargers, etc.

    I wish I could rate it a zero but, by default it has to be one. I called Asurion for a replacement iPhone 7 Plus for my son after it was damaged and I received it in a timely manner. Upon setting the phone up I came upon a snag... I called my phone carrier for assistance just to find out that Asurion sent me a stolen phone (I was very shocked about that news). Called Asurion about the issue. They were not very forthcoming and I was told that the phone will be release for activation within 2-24 hours. Well we pass the 24 hour period and still no phone to activate.

    It would have been much easier if you would have sent me a replacement phone again that was not stolen or set me to a store where I can swap out the phone. I am very disappointed in the service that I receive after paying 13 a month for 4 phones and the deductible for the phone. I even asked an Asurion agent how did you get a hold of a stolen iPhone 7 plus, she couldn't answer that question so I asked to speak to a manager and he refused to get on the phone. Next time put me on mute. I will be closing my accounts with Asurion and will continue my insurance with the company that produced the phone that should be the only option that cell phone carriers should provide.

    I cracked my screen and paid for a replacement phone. Phone arrived and within 1 week showed signs of a failing battery: would drop from 50% charge to 10 then go back to 50 when plugged in. The thing that I am unhappy with is that the replacement phone has so much crap on it that is not factory that the battery life is less than a day. The one that I sent in for a new camera lens lasted from 4 to 7 days depending on the use. The usage has not changed, I think that all the other crap on the phone burns up the battery.     Got the new phone with 24 hours, thank you. You do need to include instructions to put the old chip into the new phone if you want your provider to access your new phone and allow you to make phone calls, etc.
