    I was especially happy with quick receipt of my replacement of my phone, like the next day. However, I was told that they (Verizon) could not get all the information on my old phone transferred to my replacement phone or my new tablet. None of my apps or addresses transferred. Which made things very difficult. I sent a request to you to see if you could extend your 10 day return policy. I never received a reply. I am still trying to get all of the apps and addresses set up on my phone and tablet. I tried many times to get a cover guard for my phone's but was told that there were none available. If I would have had one I probably would not have broken it. I also feel that your co-pays Are a little high. Thus, the 4 star rating.

    After the claim I was told I would have to pay a $99.00 deductible to get my replacement phone. I was not told this when I was sold the insurance. Be aware that you do not get a new phone... I got a refurbished one. Again when I was sold the insurance I was not told that I would get a used phone as a replacement... When you have a car accident and total the car you get a new one... Not a refurbished one. Finally, the used phone that I got was not "cleaned" in other words there was still personal and private information on the phone!! I am not a forensic but I got information very easily off the phone... Overall a very very dissatisfied experience with this insurance company. With any insurance company you can't rate them until you have your first claim with them. Good Luck.

    Asurion erroneously notified Verizon that my submitted phone had been lost or stolen. Verizon in turn suspended my phone service and didn't notify me for 3 days. I have no idea how many phone calls I missed and this is a phone that I primarily use for business. I also had an issue returning the damaged phone and instead of getting assistance I got hounded daily by local area code calls that would call and then hang up as soon as I answered. I consider both of these issues as a complete failure of Asurion.

    I purchased a Rheem Hot Water Heater from Home Depot on September 20, 2015, and purchased an extended warranty with Asurion. On August 14, 2017, I called Asurion and told them that my hot water heater was leaking and leaking water on to the electrical circuits in side causing shorting out and throwing sparks. A true FIRE HAZARD. They told me that it would take a minimum of two days before they could get someone out to fix it. Even though there was an actual fire hazard.

    Now 3 days later no one has come and I received a call saying that they were unable to find someone to fix it. That I should receive a call tomorrow if they can find someone to come out. This is unacceptable to me. This company is very unprofessional and is unable to carry out the work that it is contracted to do. Home Depot should be aware of this company's business practices. It is a VERY VERY bad reflection on Home Depot because they said I would not have to worry about repairs if I purchased this extended warranty. This whole situation is unbelievable and again UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. With this kind of FIRE HAZARD I pray that I do not burn in my sleep because this company does not have the resources to honor its contracts with Home Depot customers. Heaven help us until this company can honor its warranty. I sure do not want to burn in my sleep because of this company.

    I am a military. I purchased a TV through a navy exchange store and at the store was advertised to purchase a protection plan from Asurion which would cover me on several situations and one of those was the 'accidental drop off'. As a matter of fact this is listed also inside their brochure. Once moving into the new apartment the TV accidentally slipped and the screen now has several lines through the picture (not cracks!). Called Asurion, just to find out the ugly surprise that I was not covered on this subject!!! So my question is, why buy the protection plan in the first place? Asurion customer service named Adrian told me that the store seller did not provide me the correct information and that I should deal with the store. This is so wrong! I buy a product from Asurion, and the store is only the link in between, is the clerk.

    Asurion must take full responsibility of its own products (in this case the brochure and provide the cover just as it has stated) of the information given out (from whoever person). I asked Adrian to speak with someone else (meaning his manager, or supervisor) and he started acting a smart ass saying that there is no someone else, and that I should say the word 'manager' or 'supervisor' if I intended to speak with one. They have messed up so badly and now they don't want to take their responsibility. Just think of how many people buy their protection plan (thinking they are covered) for to find what their money was STOLEN!!! Adrian told me several times that he is sorry and that he understands how I feel... Well, sorry doesn't cut this and I do not feel like Asurion stole my money and lied, this really happened! Asurion LIED and STOLE my money.

    I had a great experience with Asurion. Sadly my IPad was suddenly ruined because the charging cord broke off inside the charging port and couldn't be removed. I had it inspected. I soon learned Asurion had online support that Sunday so I didn't have to wait for answers. They had clear instructions and I appreciated the emails to keep me informed with status updates. When my iPad was no longer available to trade straight across. I got the closest match which actually was a bigger iPad 9.5 to 10.5inch Pro. I have an upgrade actually from Asurion.

    They had an amazing turn around time of 24 hours so I had my new iPad fast. All I had to do was turn off the "find my iPad" switch and send in the old iPad within the 14 days in the enclosed prepaid envelope. I liked the ease of the returning of the old iPad along with the additional reminders to make sure "find my IPad" was off. Great communication.     I told the representative that I had dropped my phone and the screen no longer worked. Lines were visible in the screen but the touch screen did NOT function. She set up an appointment to have it fixed, in my home. He was 3 hrs late due to scheduling mishaps. When the repairman arrived, he then told me he wouldn't be able to fix my phone due to not being able to see if the camera was functioning. The representative knew that camera function was a prerequisite to having it repaired, so it was a total waste of my whole day waiting for something to be repaired when in fact it couldn't be. I was told by the repairman to call and relay this info and request a replacement, which I did. But since it was Saturday, the replacement couldn't be overnighted. So I was without a phone for 4 days. NOBODY had their ducks in a row and I'm very dissatisfied with the price of the replacement as well as the whole ordeal.

When I got my replacement device from Asurion, it was obviously a refurbished phone and wouldn't hold a charge for more than an hour or two. I returned the replacement and got another phone from Asurion.

    This second replacement also has issues. The home button is not responsive and now, two weeks in, the phone will not charge. I am going to have to send this piece of garbage back and start over again with replacement #3. At this point, I'm wondering why I even bothered with insurance. I am still paying for the original, new phone with insurance fees plus the extra $200 for the water damage and have a crummy, used phone that doesn't work. Next time, I won't purchase through Verizon and won't bother with insurance.

    I had to call and trade multiple times with Asurion after breaking my phone. Here's what happened: I broke my phone and called to get it replaced, they no longer carried my phone so they told me I would get "upgraded" to the next phone. I was sent three of these upgraded phones and constantly had to call and get a new one sent because they didn't work. I would have to stand still to talk to someone and half of the time they still couldn't hear me. These phones were brand new so it wasn't a problem with them being refurbished. We finally were able to switch to a completely different phone and I haven't had any trouble since then. It was a good experience except when I had a hold on my account for "doing too many claims in a small period of time".     Hello, I made a claim through Asurion for my phone plan that consist of four phones. I make payments of $339.82 on time, I even pay extra cash when I can. So Asurion had me return the phone when I completely unlinked the broken iPhone through the "find my iPhone" service and restored the iPhone to factory setting like they told me to, but I was not able to turn off the phone, due to the completely damaged screen of the iPhone that did not work. I followed the instructions that were given, through an email on how to remove your iPhone from your iCloud account. At first I deleted the replacement iPhone on accident, thinking that is was the broken phone because there were two iPhones on the iCloud account. Then Asurion sent me a reminder email, that I did not remove the claimed phone from my account, of course that was my fault.

    So I went ahead and corrected the issue, this time ensuring that I followed the instruction on how to remove the iPhone from the iCloud service. I removed the broken phone that was visible on the "find my iPhone" service. And still I keep receiving phone calls that I did not comply with their guidelines. What the heck is going on? I don't want to have to pay a fine of $500 to $900 dollar fine. I did what I suppose to do but the customer service is not helpful. I pay too much money already for these phone.

    The process of replacing the phone was very easy. I am happy to have the online portion because I was able to report the lost/damaged phone immediately when I got home which was after 11pm. I understand that I could not start the process until the next morning. The only issue that I had with the process was the mandatory signature from UPS or FedEx. The delivery driver did not ring the bell and just left a note on my door. I ended up calling the delivery company and had to fight to get a re-delivery the next day. They wanted to drop off the package at a liquor store in the neighborhood. I am sorry I do not think that is appropriate. I understand the need to hand a package like this to a real person but there should be a better attempt to or the available of a text message to confirm delivery.

    I received the refurbished phone and everything worked great. I noticed the rear facing camera was not focusing, figured it was a software issue. Then I noticed there was a scratch across the camera lens causing the camera to not focus. I use my camera A LOT for work. I was pretty disappointed. Phone works great other than that.

    I was relatively satisfied but of course when you lose your phone, you want things done as quickly as possible. It could have been a little faster but there was the necessary paperwork and the verification process which took longer than I would have liked. Also, you do not get a brand new phone but a refurbished one so I understand. So far the refurbished phone is working fine. It's still was an expense I didn't need to incur but I am glad I did not have to Pay full price.

    I had to replace my Google Pixel 64GB phone, but since they could replace it (as it is not AT&T listed phone), they could only give me a Samsung Edge 7 as per their replacement equivalent. I lost 200$ and I would not recommend it for devices that is not AT&T to use this insurance. Please do the insurance at the place of purchase if it is not a regular AT&T device.
