    Hi, I truly wish I could remember the woman's name who assisted us (myself & Skylar Verizon rep. at Verizon franchise) she was amazing. I actually had to replace twice.     Alright. First problem I have is it cost too much money to just be receiving a refurbished phone not a brand new phone. Second off I had to use my old SIM card feed trade because the one you guys sent me was garbage. Also this phone has all sorts of problems. It did not upload my stuff right. It shuts off randomly all the time and the battery sucks. It's like I've had this phone for 10 years and it has no storage space whatsoever but that's not the case. I do have storage. This was probably the worst phone I have ever had. I'm actually going to go to an iPhone next because my experience with this phone and the replacement phone you sent me that was also garbage.

    The process of replacement was smooth and without a hitch. Everyone I spoke to was curious, precise with instructions and the replacement came without a hitch in a very timely manner. The "new phone" however has proved to leave a lot to be desired. I have not called on it as of yet, but it has obviously been pre-owned and was water damaged as the screen is water marked about 1/2 way down, Siri does not pick up very well and the internet often glitches. Ironic since it is replacing a water damaged item. In all fairness I have not called Asurion about the problem yet, however I don't feel this phone should have ever been sent out.

I was promised Saturday delivery of my replacement phone, but then was told it was shipped-out for Monday delivery. I was traveling that Monday so that would not have worked. Manager/supervisor handled the problem and set it up so I could get a new phone at the Verizon store.

    The replacement phone has a broken microphone. When making calls, the person on the other end hears constant static. When using Bluetooth headsets with a separate mic the problem doesn't occur.     I was basically told that a phone on my plan would not be replaced under the insurance because so many claims had been made within a certain period of time and my insurance was canceled. I was advised that I should have called to reactivate the insurance.     Right around the 4th of July my phone fell into the river. I went to Verizon store and they informed me that I didn't have insurance but knowing that I did purchase insurance. I was forced into buying another phone. As I am a firefighter I needed my phone. After calling and looking for my insurance papers, I went back to Verizon and after going back and forth they finally found that I did purchase insurance so I returned the phone but having to pay a restocking fee, I finally was able to make a claim with the insurance. But the first lady I talked to took my information, wasn't willing to talk to the lady at the Verizon store and she hung up on me. So had to call back.

    Finally got all the info and put my claim in. I was supposed to get my replacement phone the next day.     The manager Eva or Eve, forgot her name, was rude. She basically told me she didn't care about my business and that she would not help me.     I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company, Asurion. My computer had just entered the extended warranty period when it started overheating. The service I had from the manufacturer was top notch. The computer started overheating because the rear cooling fan was going out; plainly evident by looking through the clear side that it was barely spinning. Rather than do the logical, and sensible thing of sending a replacement fan, or taking it to a certified repair shop, I had to send it in. After getting a second shipping package, because the first one was the wrong size and had inadequate packing materials, I sent it to them. Less than a week later, it was left on our porch, in the rain, with no prior notice it was being shipped back. Yes, I realize this is the fault of the parcel service, but, with some notification, we would have expected the package and it would not have sat in the rain for who knows how long.

    After opening it, I learned it was sent back for roach feces; not more than a dozen specks of it at that. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. Upon closer inspection, the computer literally looked like it was beat on. Yes I have pictures of the damage, but they are stored safely on my phone. And that is still not the worst part. It was shipped with the hard drive loose inside the case. Whether it came loose during shipping, which I highly doubt since the box was almost completely undamaged, with no signs of being dropped or impact, or it was shipped with it still loose inside, I am not sure. The fact remains that hard drives are heavy, dense objects capable of doing serious damage to fragile computer components. So, of course I asked for a replacement, since it is completely possible it would be dangerous and life threatening to even plug the thing in.

    Who knows if or how much damage was done inside, as well as the obvious negligence induced damage to the outside. The response I got was they have to inspect it to gauge the damage, but only after I have it professionally cleaned. But, wait, here is the catch 22: No one will touch it since technically it is still under warranty. Every place I contacted said it would have to be completely dismantled and disassembled to be cleaned, which would totally void the warranty, which in turn would mean there would be no repair or replacement for a non-covered item. The warranty was never honored, and this was the first time I had contacted them for support on this product. So, thank you Asurion. I seriously appreciate basically having the money we paid for coverage to be basically stolen. Isn't that what you call taking someone's money with nothing in return?

    You may think this is a review written out of rage, or anger, but it is not. This ordeal has been going on for months now, with no sign of a resolution in sight. Anger and rage are already in the past, this is simple fact. I truly do not know what the outcome will be. We are still considering litigation, but, it may not be fiscally possible, since it may cost as much or more than the computer would cost to replace. But, on the flip side, if someone damages your property, either intentionally or accidentally, are they not legally responsible for those damages? For most people, I would say yes. For a large corporation with lawyers on hand and volumes of fine print, I would say no. So, litigation is a toss up. I truly hope anyone will reconsider using this company to protect their expensive devices, since chances are, it will be money down the drain.

    I have been a customer with ATT for 13 years. Never had to file a claim and now that I need to file one, it has been 10 days since I started all of this. They tried to tell me that my dl was expired but it doesn't expire until, 2020, so the 25 dollars they charge you every month for the family plan, you should just put in a savings account for a rainy day. Because getting them to do what you think they are suppose to won't happen. Go to the Apple store and they do the something with Apple Care, same plans as ATT for an upgrade.
