    I was pleased with how quickly you replaced the phone for me, however the battery dies extremely quickly. I had some issues with my previous phone, but nothing nearly this bad. I have to charge my phone before I leave for class in the morning and then again when I get home before work just for it to last. Very disappointing and time consuming/inconvenient.     Great service all around. I received an envelope without a return label so I called customer service and she helped me and got me the label I needed within minutes.     I had a claim opened to replace my new phone. I paid $149 for a deductible and a phone, the wrong (and scratched) phone was sent to me. They told me a replacement phone would take 72 hours since it was on a weekend so I requested a refund. I tried opening a claim to just have my screen replaced that weekend, but they told me there wasn't an authorized technician in all of San Diego?!! (Entered shocked and confused and then frustrated response here!)

    This claim was opened on 7/20/17. The phone was returned the same day it was received (7/22) and I have yet to receive a refund. I have contacted them and they have said a refund was issued on 8/2/17, however it will take 30-60 days to receive my $149. I have cancelled my insurance (that I have paid on 2 devices for 5 years). This is unacceptable. Apple Care is the way to go. They charge $99 for coverage and can get repairs and replacements SAME DAY. No BS, and I don't pay an arm and a leg... Hopping around here wobbly after Asurion. My head popped off a few times as well.

    I would give 5 stars for how the actual replacement process got handled, but the experience getting the process started was frustrating. My original request to replace my malfunctioning iPhone because of damage from dropping the phone and a cracked screen was denied. I was told the malfunctioning of the phone was related to the phone itself, and I would have to go to Apple to have the phone fixed/replaced. After going through another appeal process, the denial was reversed and the phone replaced. From that point forward it was a 5 star process, but the upfront process was a 0 star.

    First of all my phone had water damage and it took 4 days to get a replacement because Asurion 'lost' the first claim order and I had to re-do it. I lost THREE DAYS of work on my phone because of their screw up and all they said was "I apologize, you're going to have to fill out another claim, we'll be in touch with you in 24 hours after reviewing your new claim." Then, once I got my new phone, I did everything right and they kept calling me threatening to charge me $500 because a feature wasn't turned off (which it was!!!). I received about 8 follow up phone calls and finally had to call the right department who ensured me that I indeed did do it right and "Sorry for the phone calls of fear that you would owe us $500." I WILL NEVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I'm going straight to Apple and buying my phone there and getting Apple Care.

With this being said I figured I'd receive an iPhone that actually worked, and to my surprise my "new" iPhone didn't have a back light so you could never see the screen. I had to go to Verizon and to Apple and neither one could fix it because it's an Asurion phone.     I am completely disgusted with this company. I am on appointment 5 with trying to get a phone screen fixed. The first appointment they never called 30 minutes prior to arrival as stated in the email. The second day the technician called me and stated that he had to use the screen he had on him for my phone on a another fix because it had broke the first time he did this other person's phone so he rescheduled our appointment to the very next day. This technician never called 30 minutes prior to the appointment as stated in the email and never showed up to the appointment location. I called the Asurion number and told them what had happen and they called the technician, he then told the customer service lady that I told him if I was not at the meeting place I would be at Subway where I worked. I DO NOT WORK AT SUBWAY AND NEVER ONCE SAID I WORKED AT SUBWAY OR WOULD EVEN BE THERE.

    So she then told me she would reschedule me for the 4th time and it was a Sunday. My appointment was from 5-7. I never received a confirmation email so I called them and they tell me their technicians don't work on Sundays. WHY would someone from this company tell me I am able to get an appointment on a Sunday if they don't have someone to repair it!!!! So I would have wasted my gas going to meet this person AGAIN and they would NOT even have been there. So now I spoke with a manager who rescheduled my appointment for the 5th time and says she made a comment for them to call me as the email states "about 30 minutes prior to arrival."

    I am so disgusted that AT&T is a part of this company. If I don't get my phone fixed this final time I will be speaking to the highest person I possibly can and posting horrible reviews everywhere and suggesting people to get their phones fixed ELSEWHERE. This company is **. I should not be on my 5th appointment. They are to call the customer before the appointment and I have yet to have the call be except for him to tell me he cant fix my phone because he used my screen for someone else **.

    I did all I could at home with my phone, turn off and on, doing a hard reset multiple times. I went to the store and wanted to get a new phone to replace it as it had failed. When I went, they went through all the same things that I had already done, and then in the end I could not get a phone at the store, I had to wait for a refurbished one come in the mail.     Asurion was used to be very fast and prompt in their response with claim. The last few claims the last 2 years have been slow and confusing. It takes 3 days to get a response and almost a week to get the phone. On top of that the replacement phones were not high quality and had issues. The cost of the this insurance doesn't justify the cost of repair since you can have a broken screen for less than the deductible amount for this insurance is the phone is still with 1-year warranty. I'm going to cancel all the insurance on all of my 120 lines for our company.

    This company is terrible. Bought a warranty for my son's tablet for $31 at Walmart. Screen broke, so I filed a claim and they gave me the choice of an outdated tablet or a refund. I chose the refund. Tablet was returned 4 days ago and now the claim is under review to ensure it's the correct tablet. How difficult is it to look at the box and look at the tablet and verify it's the correct tablet? I think they're stonewalling because I chose a refund over an outdated tablet. In the meantime I went and bought my son a new tablet, while Asurion has my money and the broken tablet.

    I will call Walmart Corporate on Monday. To all consumers who have had it with this garbage company, this is how we fix this... We do a petition and boycott any products from Walmart in which we plan to buy a warranty. When Walmart sees a sales decline they will start to listen and dump this terrible warranty company Asurion and replace them with a good company. Let's band together and show Walmart and Asurion that we have choices and we will not tolerate this garbage service from Asurion!!!     I guess you could say my issue is with Asurion and with Verizon. My son lost his phone last year and when I contacted Verizon twice once by phone and once in person nobody ever told me to contact Asurion. I paid my insurance to Verizon for Asurion and I've been paying it for a whole year for a phone I don't even have and that has been disabled per my request because he lost it. I called Asurion once my son earned some money over the summer to pay for his phone. They told me they couldn't honor my claim because I didn't make the claim within 90 days. I explain what happened in that I've been paying them for over a year and they basically didn't care. I called Verizon back and they didn't care either.     Asurion is a complete ripoff. I've been paying for insurance via T-Mobile. My phone a Samsung Galaxy s4 finally broke, and needed replacement. I go onto their phone replacement site, and find out that to replace my phone I need to pay 175 for the copay. This is the highest tier replacement cost for a phone that is already ancient. I go to eBay to see how much the same phone costs to replace, and the going price as of 9/1/2017 is $75 for a completely new phone. Considering that I pay a monthly FEE to have the insurance, and then need to pay 175 for a replacement, this replacement would cost me upwards of $250!! Their problem is that they are not scaling the copays appropriately. It's better NOT to pay Asurion and keep your insurance premium to yourself than to have these plans. Then buy the replacement phone on the internet.

    The process of getting a replacement phone was very smooth and quick at first. However, the damaged phone was in Europe with a family member on extended travel. I had planned to have them ship me the damaged phone and I would send the new phone, but did not realize none of the European carriers would allow shipping of a cell phone. Asurion has a policy stating the damaged phone had to be sent back within 15 days or I would be charged a non-return fee, in this case $300. The Asurion representative would not grant a one week extension till the family member returned from Europe, forcing me to send back the new phone and reapply when they returned. Now replacement phone is on backorder. Being less rigid with the rules would have saved everyone time, work, and frustration.

    After having Asurion for years, I needed to file a claim because I dropped and damaged my iPhone 5c. It has thus far been a two-day process, and it has been one thing after another. First I got stuck on the website because I was unable to disable the "find my phone feature." I tried to proceed without disabling this (cannot turn on phone to disable it) but I was unable to proceed without disabling it. iPhone needed me to input a verification code which they texted to my phone (which I could not retrieve since the phone was damaged). I went on Asurion's chat, and the agent suggested that I log off, reboot my computer and start he claim process again. She said that she would cancel my claim process.

    Once I did that, a red flag went up that I might be trying to defraud the company out of an iPhone 5c, because now I had to fill out an affidavit and provide that along with proper ID. I had trouble downloading the affidavit and I needed to call the number in order to get help with that. Now I'm having trouble actually submitting it. Following the prompts make it look easy enough, but I always run into some dead-end and call the company to have an agent take me in a different route. I finally got it submitted and when I called to check on the claim, I was first told that it hadn't been received. I was able to challenge that because the automated information had said that it HAD been received and gave the time.

    When I told the agent that, she had me hold on while she checked. Turned out, they HAVE received it, but it's not filled out, they said. I DID fill the form out before scanning it in, so I find that odd. But I told her I would scan it again. So I'm trying to send it in again, and when I get to the point where I should be able to click on it and submit it, nothing happens. This has been the overriding experience: When I click on something that should complete the process for me, nothing happens.

    I called and talked to an agent again. She said that their website is having problems because they're in the hurricane zone. Of course I have empathy for that. They said try again in an hour. So I'll try again in an hour. I think I'll probably cancel this insurance after this, on all four phones in our house. This is too much effort to get a claim through. I mean, like I told the agent, it's an iPhone 5c which is damaged, meaning that they'll get the damaged one in the return mail. It isn't as if I'll be out there selling the damned thing.

    My experience with Asurion was less than I had hoped for. My wife and I took two flip phones into Verizon for repair but were told they needed replacement. The people at Verizon were very helpful and after talking by phone with your agent we put our phones in mailers and were told we would have our replacement within 24 hours. Like clock work, almost to the second, our packages arrived the next day... But they were not the phones we expected. Back to Verizon. Again they were very helpful and apologized for the mistake.

    They handled the next phone call to your people and we were again told the correct ones would be in our hands in 24 hours. Yes, they were... But one was a flip phone and one was a smart phone. Back to Verizon. Again, they did all the phone work with your people. The next day, 24 hours later we did get the second flip phone and all is good now. You have a problem between your call center and your shipping department. It should never take three mailings to get things right. Should it?

    I received my replacement phone the next day and was very satisfied until a week after receiving my replacement phone. It had screen issues that made it unusable. This was a phone that should have been fully functioning and I had not damaged it in any way.     I purchase insurance to protect my device. I'm going to cancel it after what they have put me through. I was issued three refurbished phones, yes, three. Each one was worse than the other. The first one, the touch screen wouldn't function and would go fuzzy so to speak. The second, the had a large white discoloration on the touch screen near the top right corner. The third one, which I am just dealing with periodically shuts off at night time. I'm not going through it again with reactivating my iPhone. The service reps were rude and asked me in a very hostile manner, "what's going on with all these phones?!?" I was beyond disgusted.     The online claim process is fairly easy. I have two teenagers with iPhones and in the last 2 months they both broke their phones. The first claim, was very easy and I had no issues. The last claim from 8/29, was more difficult. I think it is sad that people have tried to make false claims and now the honest people have to jump through hoops. I found the affidavit to be redundant and cumbersome, and sending a copy of my ID- really? I understand that it is done to protect the company and customers like me but there has to be a way to make it easier.

    The Delivery of the phone was very fast and came when it said it would. Online firm was easy to follow and easy to fill out. But now a month later phone shuts off or keys won't work- randomly. Don't know if I got a defective phone or just problems with the iPhone 6. It did come with a screen protector which I appreciated.

    I received my phone quickly, excellent instructions to get up and running. However, the replacement phone does not run as well as my original iPhone. It is slower and the voice mail feature is inconsistent, as it tends to freeze. I am disappointed that it is not as efficient as it should be.     While this is my Verizon acct, the telephone in question belongs to my son Jose on a sub-account. Everything was easy except for disabling Find My Phone (which he had apparently never enabled to begin with). Because his English was limited, this was extra challenging.
