Last February, for the first time ever, I broke a phone. Asurion's process was straightforward and my Galaxy Note 4 was replaced on an insurance claim. In August, when the Android system was updated, my phone stopped holding a charge. Being that it was under warranty, Asurion replaced it with a brand new updated model as the Note 4 was no longer viable for the network. Got it in one day and am SO happy with Asurion' s service and knowledge of their products. Great, great company and I am so glad to have done business with them!

Calling and getting a new phone was not the problem. The card to activate the phone was not included. I was instructed to go to the Verizon store and they would give me one. I went In and they said I would need an appointment. The wait was too long so I left. I called the store, they said they had no appointments for what I needed but there were plenty of appointments to buy a new phone. If all Verizon is interested in is the sale no thanks.

The phone had to have a factory reset only about a week and a half after I got it. Something went haywire and I had to go thru 4 steps to answer a phone call. The tech couldn't fix the phone via our call and after trying everything under the sun we finally did a factory reset and so far so good! Thanks Verizon and Asurion.

My wife accidentally lost her bag together with our two phone when we went for grocery. I contacted Asurion immediately for replacement of our two gadgets, and after two days of businesses we received our two phones. We are glad and worth it to pay monthly for insurance of our phone. I am please with the process for replacement. A simple phone call or web transaction in my case and my new phone was here in 2 days. I only wish all my information was transferred to the new phone. This was a chore. The return envelope made it simple for me to send it back.

Completed online request for phone replacement. Consumer service assisted me with replacing my phone within one business day. They also upgraded my phone due to original replacement phone not working correctly. Representative was able to ensure the phone worked without any issues.

The cost of the phone replacement after paying so much money each month is complete crap. Plus you lose all your data and info on your phone to get someone's refurbished crap that was broken too at one point. Not happy. Hate Asurion's service, price and crappy used replacements.

I was highly irritated with the affidavit situation. Was unable to print. Had to wait for it to be mailed to me. Multiple issues with current address updating, also I've be accustom for a long time not understanding the point of a affidavit if what I send back for return equipment is not correct from what was indicated then you would just charge me the fee anyway. What's the point of putting your customer through a pointless run around situation.

Customer service was excellent. The phone is not. The battery dies quickly, I can't get the "eye" icon on the top to go away and the charger sent to me is damaged. When I tried to call Asurion I couldn't get help until I could call from a different # and when I finally could call from a different # I was redirected to Verizon. Overall unhappy that I spent $100 on a phone that doesn't work properly.

Filed a claim for a replacement cell phone. Received quickly but the replacement phone had a shadow in upper corner which got larger over time. Paperwork with replacement says it has a 1 year warranty. When I contacted Asurion to replace this device, was told the warranty was void because did not contact them within 7 days. Nowhere on the paperwork does it mention 7 days. We will live with this defective refurbished device until unusable and then just purchase a new device. Cancelled the Asurion coverage. Will not do business with them.

This is the second time my 14 year old grandson's phone has broken in the course of 3 years. Both times it was replaced in a matter of days, and the process was very simple. Buying the Asurion insurance was a no brainer when dealing with a teenager's phone. When I bought my new iPhone, I also chose to buy the insurance for my phone as well. Peace of mind.

Verizon makes it sound a lot easier than it actually is to get your replacement. It certainly is NOT next day at Verizon said!! There were a lot of hoops to jump through to get the replacement. It was nearly impossible to actually speak to a human being at Asurion. Verizon told me I would get a screen protector and case replacement also, which was NOT true. They also said it would be next day delivery, which it wasn't. There was a lot of miscommunication between Verizon and Asurion.

After submitting all the info needed to received a replacement phone, it said I would receive the replacement on August 9. When I checked on the shipment on the 9th it said it will be delivered on the 10th. Ok you would say 1 day not a big deal, but it is when we were out of town the morning of the 10th to the 15th with no phone. If I would have known the delivery was going to be the 10th instead of the 9th when I submitted it I would have called.

Could have been better. The model phone that I had was discontinued or out of stock and the replacement I received wasn't the same size as the previous phone so I had to buy a new case and I'm already having issues with the replacement phone's headphone jack not always having a solid connection or having to position the cord in a specific way so that it will connect properly, even using a brand new cord.

Asurion has excellent customer service! I dropped my phone one day on the driveway, destroyed my screen. Asurion had a new phone to me within 24 hours. A month later, I dropped my phone AGAIN! I was devastated, the screen was destroyed and I could not use the phone whatsoever. Asurion replaced my phone again within 24 hours. Learned my lesson - OtterBox from here on out! Thank You Asurion for your excellent customer service. As a real estate agent, it is impossible for me to work without a cell phone, you made this process seamless for me!

I was out of town and asked for second day mail so I would be home when the new phone arrived. It was sent next day mail and I was not yet home to receive it. That could have been a problem, it could have been stolen off my porch, but it was still there when I got home from my vacation.

Overall, not a bad service at all. The $200 deductible seems a little high, but I knew that amount upfront, so it was nothing surprising. The replacement device I received is definitely used, the power cord it came with was not original and there were signs of use on the phone (no damage though). The replacement phone works very well, 100% good to go. Would I do it again? Absolutely.

I was impressed with how fast I got my phone but, My phone's wifi will not work 9 times out of 10. The screen goes blank or my apps will become unresponsive. This is a refurbished phone so, there is something wrong with the system. I have done the recommended phone update, but it still has issues.

I love the shaded screen protector. It gives me lots of security while browsing around people. The screen is very secured and gives me lots of assurance. At night it gets brighter just as daylight. All the angles are shaded that the next person by your left and right can't see your messages.

After hours on the phone with customer service and a trip to the Verizon store, we discovered that the phone sent by Asurion was defective and could not be activated. The phone was returned and a month later I still do not have a refund of my deductible. I suppose I will need to spend hours on the phone with customer service again to get that refund.

I dropped my phone and the screen broke. I called Asurion, my phone was no longer available for replacement. They were able to get me another phone that was similar to mine. I was nervous, but after the phone arrived, I was very pleased. In fact, after using it for awhile, I like it better.

Delivery and send back easy as pie... although he is having an issue with his phone telling him to put his Sim card in and it is in, which is not allowing him to talk on his phone for no more about 20 seconds. So pretty concerned about that.

I got my pixel replaced when it got wet and ceased working. The new phone came promptly, and the people I interacted with from the company were pleasant. Unfortunately, the earpiece in the new phone is really quiet so it is difficult to use as a phone without headphones/Bluetooth or speaker. In addition, I thought that the phone would come with the ruined accessories, which for me, meant a glass screen protector and it did not.

I was frantic when my phone didn't work as I am a college professor and was teaching 3 online courses in accounting. My students contact me with EVERY problem they have so not having a phone was critical. I thought I had closed out the payment of the replacement and do believe I received an email saying that the process was completed. When the replacement did not arrive as I was told it would, I called again and the representative was very helpful. We worked through the process, second payment process was successful. Received my phone and then the issues began getting converted over. That was a Verizon issue, not yours. Glad I had the insurance. Never have I filed a claim like this before. Thank you!

I am very happy with them and will continue to use their services. First off I obviously received a horribly refurbished phone with after market accessories. When I first received the phone and activated it, it would consistently say it had no sim card and deactivate, then reactivate and resume functionality. This continued through the month of August however it eventually stopped. NOW as of today 9/12/2017, no matter how many different chargers and outlets I try, my phone refuses to charge or even acknowledge the connection. I am extremely displeased. Why did I pay $150 to replace a broken phone with yet another broken phone. I will be bringing this up in store with Verizon, however I expect some type of refund or exchange. I would also like to request a new phone and not a Asurion refurbished product please!

Asurion is always fair in replacing damaged or lost phones in a quick and timely manner. The price of the phones is also fair. While I have noticed that the refurbished phones are not as sturdy as others, it is still very helpful to have a new phone delivered very quickly, safely and accurately.

I have had this protection for years and have never used it. The system setup for this worked perfectly. It took some time to create and submit the claim, but the replacement phone arrived promptly, and there were great instructions on what needed to be done to setup the new phone and return the damaged one.

My cell phone did not work at all due to being dropped, and the screen was also cracked. I notified Asurion of the situation and I was told that a replacement phone was on its way, and for me to send the damaged phone back to them, as I did. Hassle free exchange with your agent, super fast service, gladly recommend Asurion insurance to anyone in need of. Bought an OtterBox cover in hopes that it will be protected from any future drops, but if not, I know who to call.

The iPhone had gotten wet when I slipped getting out of a boat and got wet, which included the iPhone. Drying it rapidly did not help and I was no longer to able to use any of its functions. Asurion was helpful with replacing phone and I requested and received help getting the new phone set up with a tech at Verizon. Thanks for a good effort. One notation is that many of us are not very experienced with the iPhones and do need someone experienced to disable the previous phone and accomplish the recommended set up. I would very much like to return to the old "flip top" phone. Thanks.

I didn't submit my claim as soon as the incident occurred because I had told my daughter she was going to have to pay the deductible. So we submitted the claim once she had the money for the deductible. Although I didn't know that the incident had to be reported right away I was able to appeal and still I received my daughter's replacement very quickly and with no issues.

V20 Replacement - Had to wait a week for a replacement phone. Not thrilled with that. Other than that, everything was fine. I subscribed to Asurion because of my previous experience with one day replacement. Also, deductible is too high for a year old phone. Cancelled my coverage.

My son drop his tablet and shattered his screen. Getting it replaced was super easy. The only thing that was irritating was it took like a week to get it or even file the claim because it was on back order.

My Daughter accidentally dropped her phone, we had the replacement the next day and was up and running shortly after the new phone arrived. The only issue we had was getting the Phone registered, but a quick call to Asurion took care of that and the phone was operational.

Asurion's service was excellent. It was a weekend when my daughter lost her phone and I was out of the area trying to get it replaced. Within 24 hours a new one arrived. The representative was courteous and expressed empathy while helping me to calm down in such a stressful situation. I recommend everyone with a cell phone get this insurance. Asurion has definitely improved since my first phone loss in 2003.

We needed to return a broken phone and had to remove "Find my iPhone" using the computer and iCloud account. When Asurion received the phone, I was contacted and told that the Find my iPhone was still on. The people that I worked with at Asurion were friendly and extremely helpful in getting this situation resolved.

This is the second time I've experienced an issue and submitted a claim with Asurion. It was the same as the first instance, with very quick delivery, and simple processing. The only area for improvement that I saw was having to print a form, sign it, and include it in the return shipment. Service was great both times.

I have made this complaint before. Asking for my personal ID and other information when this is a corporate account. There should be another means of identity confirmation when dealing with a corporate account. It's unfair to ask someone for their personal information when trying to work with a device that is purchased and used by a business. Sending a copy of my license over is not the best idea when so many identities are being hijacked.

I had originally purchased a Google Pixel XL 128 gig phone, and this was the subject of my claim. However, when I called in to make the claim, I was told that the phone on record was a Pixel XL 32 gig. I was told I had to correct this with Verizon, who further forwarded me to Google to correct an alleged issue with the IMEI number. After calling Google and obtaining proof, I called Verizon back and they connected me to an Asurion agent. She was very helpful, but never verified or requested any of the proof I obtained, and processed the return without it. This made it seem like the proof was never needed in the first place, and my time felt wasted. She processed the claim over the phone, so I never got a chance to review the final device page. Finally, when I received the shipment, it was the wrong phone. She had sent the Google Pixel 128 gig, but not the larger Pixel XL 128.
By this time it was Saturday, and the second replacement was delayed until Monday. I felt frustrated by the process, and confusion. This resulted in me being without a phone for 3 days. Overall, all of the representatives were polite and pleasant to talk to. Lastly, your rating system stated that 3 stars was an indication that I was satisfied with the service. I feel conflicted about how my claim went, and satisfied does not describe it. If anything, I feel like the service is a necessary cost of owning a smartphone. At this time I have received my proper replacement device, but was not satisfied with the overall process. Had you offered a 3 star option indicating "neither satisfied or dissatisfied", I would of selected that.

I called and was surprised by the ease of filing a claim with the help of very competent customer service reps. I had a phone that had been damaged beyond what I could deal with. I called Asurion and they had a replacement phone to me in a day. I submitted my claim & they kept me posted with all the information that I needed. My phone was lost by UPS & I contacted Asurion to let them know what was going on, they even sent me a replacement for my replacement. Thanks God whoever received my first replacement delivered it to my door so when I received my second replacement, I was able to send it back to Asurion at no cost to me. Overall, I was happy with my phone, it was exactly what I had before.

While the customer service and next day replacement phone were 10/10 - the fact that I got a refurbished phone that had sticky keys, difficult switching between apps, and voice dictation that worked only 50% of the time - I am very disappointed (1/10). Then when I call in to request a replacement - I'm ask to delete and reset the phone which is ludicrous. If the phone doesn't work out of the box - it shouldn't be shipped from the warehouse. PERIOD! Very dissatisfied with the quality of the replacement phone, especially that we pay monthly for the insurance and then another $150 for deductible. It's time to reconsider my insurance options. My recommendation at this point is to invest in a $80 Life Proof or indestructible case and save on the insurance.

The Galaxy S7 phone came quickly but the quality of the speaker does not sound good at all. Echo and sound like you're in a small room also the screen when watching something when. Dark parts come on is blotchy. I since got a new phone and gave this one to my son so I don't think I can send it back for a different one. But from the time I turned it on till the time I got the phone was excellent and timely.

I recently cracked my phones glass and damaged the screen while out of town for work. I was able to go online and easily file my claim without digging up some random paperwork from when I bought my phone. This was a relief. Though I was out of town for a few more weeks my replacement was at my home waiting in two days. Unfortunately when I did get home it turned out the replacement was a refurbished model and the internal glass in the camera was dogged by dust or buffing.
After a week of confirming that there was definitely a issue and getting multiple reminder calls that I would incur a fee if I didn't return my old device I decided to call. I called the company responsible for the reminders not realizing this is a subcontractor, they put me in touch with Asurion (sp) within minutes. I explained the issue to Linda and also that I'd been out of town so unable to do everything in the time given. She found me a brand new exact replacement, same color too, with a accessories package and had to me the very next day. I was calling in the afternoon too. She also gave 3 more weeks to return all the devices just so I could confirm the new camera was working correctly. I was truly amazed, I've paid far more for far less quality of service. I'm writing this on my replacement phone and am all squared away. Thanks so much!

So my daughter has an Apple iPhone 6s which malfunctioned yesterday and just stopped working. By no fault of her own - she sent a text out, checked it 5 mins later and the screen was black. I call AT&T and they told me I had to put a claim in with Asurion and gave me the number then transferred me. Well this is the biggest group of incompetent people I have ever met.
I explain to the first rep what happened and he tells me that I need to speak to the warranty department... I asked why and he said, "Cause your phone is under warranty so you have to deal with them. Hold on I will transfer you…" He transfers me alright... Right back into the Asurion automated loop. Really??? So ok I press all the buttons and wait and get another rep and I explain I need to put in a claim so he takes my information and says, “Hold on I will transfer you to the warranty dept.” And again I said why. I just want to put in a claim and he says, “Well the last rep noted that it was under warranty so that's who you have to speak to.”
So I explain that the last rep said he was transferring me but instead just put me in the automated loop. He said, “No worries, I wont do that. I will get you a rep.” So I said ok fine… He transfers me and where do I end up?? You guessed it, back in the beginning of the Asurion loop again. Well now I am getting angry because each time I get back in the loop the hold time is longer. But I wait. This time I get a female and I immediately tell her, "Please do NOT transfer me. I just want to file a claim." She says no problem, asks me some questions, gets my account and says, “Wait, I have to transfer you. I cant help you.” I’m like really. Please dont because I keep getting stuck in the loop. She says, “No I will get you a person.” She actually does and then disconnects.
I give the lady in the warranty dept my information and she wants to know why I was transferred to her. I said I dont know. They said they couldnt help me. She straight up told me, “Oh I’m sorry they lied because you dont have a warranty anymore. Your phone is over a year old.” I said I know I told them that. She says, “Hold on I will transfer you.” I explain how every time I get them (now 3 different reps) they keep pushing me back to her dept. She said she will get them on the phone and explain. She did.
I finally get a gentleman who is now ready to place the claim. He begins asking me a series of questions to verify who I am but none of them make any sense like did I live in (listed 4 addresses) in the last 5 years and what companies have I worked for in the last five years??? Really WTF? So I play along and answer them all for him to tell me I am not who I say I am??? Really I’m not? Who knew!!! And he has to email me a form to fill out and send back.
Extremely frustrated now since I have been on the phone for almost 3 hours. I’m like “Well how long is this going to take?” He said really quick – “You will get the email within an hour of us hanging up. You fill it out, send it back and then we finish the claim.” Now completely beside myself but needing to get this done since my daughter lives alone and now has no phone, I say fine. So I fill it out, send it back and then call right away he says yes. I said fine. We hung up.
About 30 mins later I get the form, I fill it out, upload it to their site and call... Surprise Surprise, they are closed!!! Now I’m furious. So the next morning (today), I get up and call. The recording says they are closed. Call back on Monday. Well needless to say now I begin to flip out so I call ATT and they explain that Asurion should be open in 2 hours to call them then. Ok so while I’m waiting I get the email to finish the process on line. So I do then I call. Their response, "Ok you are all set. You didnt need to call." So I ask, “Ok so when should I be expecting the phone?” They tell me Monday thru Friday of next week. They cant really tell me because the claim has gone all the way thru yet. So I explain, "Ok is there anything I can do because my daughter who lives alone has no phone." Their response, "Go buy another phone until she gets the new one." Really???
I am completely baffled by this whole procedure of me not being who I say I am. Meanwhile, now it appears he just wanted to get out of there quickly last night and not process my claim. So here I wait, I have talked to at least 9 different reps in the past 12 hours and still have no idea when I am getting the phone other than no later than next Friday.

The iPhone 7+ I received as a replacement was in excellent condition as far as appearance goes, but the rear camera never works and the front camera only works approximately 20% of the time. This is a real disappointment because I generally use the camera multiple times a day and I'm lucky if even the front camera works one time every 2 days.

Am very pleased with the service I received through Asurion. Within 12 hours of submitting my claim, they had my phone being delivered to my house. Easy instructions to get it back activated and up and running. Without Asurion, my son would still be out his phone, but thankfully Asurion had his replacement back within a day. Thank you Asurion.

Received my new phone under 24 hours of the damage. Totally impressed on how fast I received the phone. Using the web submission was a snap and the package and pre printed label was easy to return the damaged phone back to you. Well worth the money I pay for the service.

The phone I received has a few issues but nothing major. The Touch ID can't be setup and the screen doesn't allow me to always click the right letter. When it comes to the functions of the phone all of them does not work or the phone will freeze on its own.

Replaced my Verizon Moto Z Force after damage to what is supposed to be a shatterproof display. Easily and quickly navigated website for filing my claim. Replacement device was sent quickly and the return of my damaged device was quick and easy as well. Recommended as long as you know that there is a cost for this service as well as what can best be described as a deductible that is different for the device and the problem for the claim.

Service was good and I'm satisfied with the results. Fast return, but in-store help was a joke. Waiting for 30 minutes to be told that claims needed to be handled online or via phone call. Automated services is horrible. Just need to have a live person to talk to not computer voice!! Otherwise it's ok.

The phone that you sent me for a replacement had a bad screen on it and we had to replace it with the cost of $130. Not happy about that, I was told that they were not refurbished phones but there was a stamp on the back of the phone that said it was refurbished.

I had accidentally dropped it into water. The new one was sent to me the next day. The tech at Verizon filled to my forms. I found getting all started difficult. I still cannot remember all my apps. All works well and I am pleased to have my phone back.

I am very upset with the fact that I am paying for a brand new phone monthly and I got sent a refurbished phone and one of the speakers does not even work!! Something needs to be done about this! It is a very awful thing to do to someone!! I am very disappointed!

When our company calls for help with your product you are very hard to reach and most of your techs have poor communication skills. Your last update was helpful but when you have an update that will change the format it would be nice to get a warning. But the product seems to be working good so far.

My cell phone got wet on my trip to Montana. I went to a Verizon store where they were extremely helpful. My new phone was shipped to my daughter's home overnight. That was where I was flying to that night and needed the phone for continued travel the next day. Very pleased that the phone arrived.

I have had no problems with insurance claims. My husband is rough on his phones. In the past 5 years we've made 3 claims. It's quick and painless. Delivery was fast. Refurbished phone was good. It's not always set up like a new phone but I'm smart enough to figure it out.

Customer service is great. Although I received the phone and didn't notice until couple weeks later that the glass over the camera has a small crack. Wish it could've been little more protected. I do have it protected with a OtterBox.

I was not satisfied b/c I've had ins on my phone for 10 yrs or so and never used it and I don't think I should have had to pay 150 for a new phone when over the yrs I've paid full price to y'all for a new phone and the phone was refurbished when it should have been new. I was told they don't have that phone anymore but that's a lie b/c I seen one in a Verizon store.

I am happy with the speed of delivery of the product. I am disappointed in the actual product because the external speaker is not properly functioning. So I was sent a not-so-great-refurbished phone. I received the phone the next business day and tracking was spot-on. No complaints there.
