Made an in home repair appointment online and waited til the end of the appointment window to call since no repair person called or showed up. Was then informed that this service was not available for my phone. Why would the website say this service was available for my phone if it truly wasn't?? I asked for a refund of the $49 I paid for the appointment and was told it was done. Coincidentally I received my bank statement today and it shows the refund was never issued. Now I will have to call again to ask for the refund to be issued.
A day or two later I decided to just get a replacement phone so I went online and paid my fee (again). The new phone arrived when it said it would however when making/receiving calls nobody could hear me. I took the phone back to the local Verizon store who then provided me with yet another replacement phone. I would NOT recommend this service and would never use it again if I had the choice. We pay the monthly insurance fee to receive crappy customer service and crappy replacement phones.

I had completed cracked the screen on my phone. It was so bad that I could barely make out the numbers to call anyone. One call to Asurion and I was shipped a brand new phone overnight. It was simple and quick. The customer service representative was so nice and answered all of my questions.

The new device fixed all my problems with the old one, however the new device has an issue of its own. I thought it was just a spoof but it continues to happen. Over and over. The phone will spontaneously reset. At completely random times. Sometimes it happens multiple times a day and sometimes I go days before it happens again. I will be calling to talk to someone about this to see what can be done to fix it.

Here are the facts: We needed 3 Gizmo Gadgets replaced. We received 1 functioning Gizmo Gadget, one broken Gizmo Gadget and 1 Gizmo Pal. When it was time to return the broken replacement I had to walk through the same series of questions with 3 customer service representatives and then was told the part was not in stock and that I should try to buy it from a store and hope for a replacement check.
The Gizmo Pal replacement attempt threw me over the edge. Asurion sent an $80 item and we needed the $150 version. When explaining this to 4 different customer service reps (for over 4 hours and 50 minutes). They could not understand what the item was without calling it a PB2 or PT4. Over the fuzzy phone line, they would not use the terms Gizmo Gadget and Gizmo Pal but instead a series of unidentifiable letters and numbers. It was infuriating.

Husband was fishing with our son. Started to fall. It was either into the lake or seriously injure leg. He chose the lake. Phone was in pocket. Entered claim as soon as he got home. Phone was delivered by the time my husband had to go back to work. Which is great for us as my husband is a long haul truck driver who is out for 6-8 weeks at a time. Great service.

Awesome company. They sent the iPad out through FedEx. When FedEx said they delivered but we did not receive it, Asurion sent another one through UPS next day delivery. When FedEx found our package Asurion sent us a barcode for free shipping back.

I have 2 accounts with a total of 6 devices (for my children, my mother and for my professional life). I have had the best experience with Asurion every time I have needed to use it. I have had several phones over my life replaced by Asurion. They have always been very good. This last time I got a bad phone and they immediately sent me another and several other items to go along with my phone. Never asked for it. They just did it.

My son's Galaxy s8 stopped charging. Getting the phone replaced with Asurion was fast and easy. Within three days we had a replacement phone. They even sent an envelope to return the broken phone. I highly recommend insuring your phone with Asurion.

We purchased the in-home electronic policy and pay monthly to insure these devices. My daughter's laptop broke and they took so long to fix it that she went back to school in another state. We called numerous times (took hours to get through to someone who had even a little bit of knowledge) and she said she would ship to university. We called to confirm again because UPS sent us notifications that the package was delayed. They still had the university address so we felt confident it would get there.
Today the laptop arrives at our home. When we called and waited on hold again, they now say they are not allowed to ship to another address. They will not reimburse for shipping and basically told us we had to be lying because their policy. They told us yes, they did see a University address but that's only if they send a check and not a computer. NO ONE EVER MENTIONED CHECK! Mind you, we also sent another laptop in at the same time because it was never fixed the first time. They claim they couldn't check it because it was password protected, but there was no password. Very disgusted.

My phone was unfortunately damaged and I visited my local Sprint store to file claim. They told me I had to file online or call in. Filed my claim on a Saturday and was told by a rep at Sprint I could add the deductible to my Sprint bill. They refused to do it. I've had friends from other carriers use Asurion for an insurance claim, and do that exact same thing. So I paid the deductible and it was supposed to come next day shipping. Sent it via UPS and it was conveniently delayed. Won't be paying for this any longer. Just gonna go get the Apple Care Plus cheaper and same day service. Thanks for nothing Asurion!!!

Sent us a phone that did not work, then when we had to buy a new one from Verizon because of time crunch, they would not refund money. Just awful customer service. Not sure why we had insurance! Please keep in mind they are not part of Verizon when they don't want to be and are closely associated with them when they want to be.

My son dropped his phone and the screen broke on it (S8+). It was quickly replaced without a problem or any hassles from anyone. My only "concern" about it was the fact that I had to spend $200 as a deductible. That is a bit crazy, in my opinion.

This is the second refurbished phone I have in this model and both glitch often. Phone also gets warm off the charger and when on the charger. The paperwork was a big issue to fill out the second request where I had to print out a paper, scan in and then to be denied for something very little.

I was disappointed because after we revived our replacement iPhone 7 the camera went bad within a few weeks. We assumed the warranty would cover it but because we were sent a device that was not under warranty. Why would I get a device that wouldn't be covered was sad.

I was really pleased with the speedy delivery on my replacement phone that I dropped in water. You can't get much faster than that. I just think $200 is a lot to have to pay after paying for the insurance. Thanks though for the speedy delivery.

I submitted a claim online for a broken phone the evening. The process was extremely easy. I received the replacement phone the next day. It came with instructions to set it up which was also easy. I was impressed with the entire process. I was dreading it initially, so it was a pleasant surprise.

I called in to get a replacement because my phone (Samsung Galaxy 7) which was already replaced by Asurion failed after just 4/5 months. I could tell it was refurbished and required a new one because of not wanting another to fail on me that quickly. It took me several hours just to get HQ to respond and agree to this.

It was very pleasant dealing with Asurion, but the replacement device was more defective than my damaged device (HTC10 with cracked screen), so I returned the former and kept the latter, so the whole experience was not satisfactory.

In the 15+ years that I have had Verizon and the many times I have ordered a replacement with Asurion, I've never experienced such terrible customer service along with such a poor replacement phone. My replacement phone is worse off than my original phone. The screen goes off and on as it pleases, I have to restart my phone multiple times before the screen will actually go back on. My screen freezes and Siri just talks non stop until I turn off my phone. The list of issues that I have could go on forever.

I was satisfied with the efficiency of getting the REPLACEMENT PHONE, what unfortunately is a refurbished phone and the speaker is trash on it. I don't feel like going thru the process again to get yet another refurbished phone what could also have the same issues. For the insurance costs and the deductible amount it would sure be nice to get a phone that functions properly.

The Asurion phone replacement process was straightforward and easy to use as long as you had all of your customer and phone information readily available. The replacement phone came with good instructions on what to do to activate it and get your information from your iCloud backup. Get your information together, pay your money, and get the new replacement phone.

The screen cracked near where the plug in for the USB cable is and the home button and all of the other stuff is. I checked with the Verizon store locally and they said to contact Asurion. So I did and after paying the deductible they shipped A replacement next day.

This was the first one. Was done good. The second time when my phone got damp was a nightmare. Your people were telling me my phone is not waterproof and that I would pay a lot of money and the technicians left me with a phone couldnt do anything with. Went to Best Buy and they fixed it in 10 minutes. Really my phone is Galaxy 7 Edge. It is waterproof. Seems repair service doesnt know anything about phones. Thank you.

Asurion has been nothing short of perfect (relative). My first replacement device (Certified Refurbished Apple iPhone 7+) came very quickly as promised, but had a hardware issue with the Rear Camera and Flash. The Customer Service rep was so kind, understanding, and helpful, being fully competent and getting me set up with a 2nd and final replacement device that actually arrived at the end of the very next day. The first device's hardware problems were not the fault of Asurion, and the company and their Customer Service Department were both very, very fast, efficient, and friendly. Definitely a 5 star experience - enough for me to actually take the time to leave a review it seems!

Overall okay. My camera lens appears more scratched on my replacement than it did my original device. I understand there's a 10 return policy on old devices, however, given that I have a Moto Z Droid, the bumper screens were on backorder (and I'm still waiting for mine) the only ones available were compatible with the Play and Force models. Obviously I don't want to damage my phone again, and for the thinnest phone and given the mod attachments, the case seemed cumbersome that I had purchased and broke only a week after purchasing my $40 case when I went to put a mod on.
Asurion has charged my account $300 for the lack of rushing to return it, which is understandable, however had I lost the device, I wouldn't have been charged anything. I've used Asurion before, I just hope my refund is processed quickly as I now have a $35 overdraft fee, all because I just wanted a bumper case to protect the new one from the same damage I had on my old phone.

My replacement phone arrived is less than 24 hours and was easy to set up. All Asurion employees were 100% helpful. My tracking numbers were provided within 2 hours and were hyperlinked in the email for easy access to the FedEX company who provided the delivery.

The screen on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge cracked. When I attempted to make a claim, instead of the $99 deductible quoted last year when my husband damaged his S7 I was charged $149. CSR said it was a price increase. Well obviously, but why? The phone's cost didn't go up... Its value actually decreased since the release of the S8. Why is there such a dramatic increase in the deductible? CSR had no response to the question. The answer is because they can, because there isn't really another option for consumers. I was then asked to complete an affidavit... something I've never been asked to do, for my own protection, as the CSR stated before she hung up on me. Sad thing is there can be no resolution. This company doesn't care about the consumer.

I received the replacement phone for Samsung Galaxy 7s. It lasted 16 days and stop working. When I received it the GPS did not work at all. So I have another broke phone that I can not use. I was told that it would not be replaced again. So I paid for a replacement and got a phone that did not work. Very upset.

Every time C&S Roofing has an issue with the phone, we send it in and we get back junk phones. We personally have had bad experience and have to send the phones back in to eventually get a good phone. We spend a lot of time trying to get a hold of Asurion. We hope in the future to get better service. We had to go to Verizon last time to have one of their reps get on the phone with Asurion. That is very sad. We pray for better service in the future.

I dropped my Galaxy S8+ without any protective case and the BACK of the phone cracked. I contacted my provider and they notified Asurion. My new phone was delivered in about 2 days. Even though I had it sent to Canada. My provider is Verizon but my home is in Canada. This was no problem for Asurion. Excellent service.

Droid Turbo 2 was replaced with a refurbished one and it really does NOT work very well. The sound is terrible. They NEVER work well. They should be tested better or NEW phones be given for phones that are under the warranty timeframe. Refurbished suck!!!

I was waiting for a week, under the assumption, that a replacement phone was on its way, according to an email that I got once I filled out the form. Then when I went back into the claim, it told me that a replacement phone was not an option anymore. That it had been discontinued. Which I was never notified that the phone was discontinued, especially since I just paid almost $700 for that phone a Verizon store less than 6 months prior, with the store people saying that it was one of the newest ones out at the time.
Then once I picked a different option, that phone came. But I don't think the camera works the way it should for screenshots because I can't push home key and power key to take a screenshot. The only way I've found is to wave the side of my hand across the screen in which if I am zoomed into something, it will move the screen and ruin the actual screenshot. The replacement phone camera is definitely not comparable to the HTC 10 in which I had. It won't focus on an object and most pictures I try to take are blurry, since it won't focus. All the camera settings have been set up properly.

I received the replacement phone promptly but the color is very off and on the back they have etched in to the phone "Refurbished by Asurion". It is not a sticker that is removable, it is etched in and it doesn't even match the rest of the etchings that are supposed to be there. Also, since I've gotten the replacement phone my GPS is never correct, to the point that I often need to manually look up and enter my current address in order to navigate somewhere.

Trevor was very respectful in helping me. However, I was told by the agent/tech over the telephone that it was going to cost 49.99 to get my phone fixed because I had insurance. Lucky me. However the next day I was told it would be $149.99 to get another refurbished phone because the LCD screen had been broken. I was holding out from getting a new phone previously (before my phone was broken) because I wanted to get the new iPhone 8 when it came out this next month. But if I had to spend that much money on a refurbished phone then I wasn't going to get the iPhone 8 as planned. But I couldn't do without a phone for a month so I was forced into buying the refurbished phone in the meantime.
To say the least I was VERY disappointed in Verizon/Asurion at this point. In all fairness it was not Trevor's fault that the Asurion tech decided I needed to buy the refurbished phone if I wanted to have phone service until I decided to get the iPhone 8. So the 5 stars are for your agent Trevor who worked with me at Verizon. But -- NO I do not like the way your tech handled getting me a refurbished phone. I feel like it was somewhat underhanded in forcing me to pay more for a refurbished phone rather than put a new screen on the phone I had. Which also caused me to have to buy a new Zag glass screen for the new phone's protection and a case. Yay me.

We got the phone in great time. Our plan is off currently but the phone that you sent me has a dark almost black screen. I thought it was because it was daylight but even at night I couldn't see anything just faint lights. The phone has only been used a few times since we got it and it hasn't gotten wet or dropped. This past time the replacement phone could only make phone calls on speaker and after troubleshooting they immediately sent out a new device. We sent the defective device right back. The first replacement phone was only operable for 1/2 day, when began to turn itself off on an frequent basis, including after being rebooted. The second replacement phone worked well. When needing to activate a disabled phone, Apple found that the disablement resulted from repeated attempts log in with my password, while the phone itself was recognizing a password from a prior owner of the phone.

The replacement smartphone, Galaxy S4, was problematic and not equal in performance as the phone I lost. It has issues with charging when using a car charger. It was draining the battery and overheating. I spent a considerable amount of time with Verizon tech support dealing with this issue. The phone now charges properly but still tends to get hot. It also has other glitches. One day, it was not able to make a wireless connection, so I was not able to receive or make calls or data. Again, a session with tech support managed to make it fully operational again. The phone that I lost never gave me any of these problems. Given the $99 replacement fee that I was charged, I feel that I should have been given a phone that is free of technical issues.

I placed an order for my phone on Saturday and received it on Sunday. The process was extremely easy and I was very impressed with how quickly I received my phone. The phone started off performing fine and then I noticed small issues with the responsiveness. A few weeks after receiving my phone, it completely blacked out while I was checking text messages and would not respond. I know I take a risk with receiving refurbished phones, but I wouldn't expect to receive a defective phone since the phone I have hasn't been on the market very long. I damaged my iPhone 6 and was sent a replacement. After two hours with Verizon and going to an Apple store, I was to be sent a second phone because the one I had possessed a glitch. I received second iPhone 6. After attempting to set up phone with Verizon for another two hours, it was concluded that the iPhone 6 line would continue to have this issue. I am sent an iPhone 7 to not encounter the glitch again. However, no accessories were sent with the phone to account for the lack of headphone jack. So in short: I was sent two faulty iPhone 6's, wasted many hours talking to customer service, and have spent over $150 in accessories in order to use the working iPhone 7.

I dropped my iPhone 7 plus and needed a replacement. The process was fast and easy. I filed my claim on Saturday and received my replacement on Monday of this week. Like so many others, I didn't know that the replacement would be refurbished. Anyway, I immediately started having issues with it. The screen was unresponsive. It would freeze mid-swipe. I couldn't dial out without it freezing mid-dial. I just got off of the phone with Asurion and the customer service rep was very helpful. After I explained the problem she said that they would send me a brand new phone. She said, "I hope you don't mind but we don't have any silver ones, the new one will be rose gold." And my replacement will be here tomorrow. Naw I didn't mind one bit!!

First, I was well satisfied with the speed and service from Asurion. That said, the phone had not been working well for some time before the screen was cracked. Many glitches opening and using apps and the battery discharged very quickly. It could have been replaced then at no cost, but then it got a small crack and cost $149. For a refurbished that did not have a new battery. Should have spent $90. To replace the screen and then had the phone replaced from Verizon. Not necessarily through Asurion, but every time we have ever had a phone replaced, the battery is much worse than when new. I understand that poor battery performance is probably the most common reason for replacing a phone. I wish that refurbished phones came with new batteries. Again, Asurion did what they were expected to do, they provided a replacement phone very quickly.

Tried to file my claim online, was charged but got an error message. Had to go through customer service, who charged me again. Took a week and a couple phone calls to get the extra charge resolved. All the customer service reps were very friendly, but it was hard to get the information to call in, as Asurion tries to force you through the website, which wasn't very good, processed my claim incorrectly (the phone had to be replaced, not repaired) and charged me. I wish I'd been able to talk to someone directly from the beginning. Also, the website wouldn't work from my phone.

Broke my phone at 9pm and had a new phone the next day!! Easy to follow instructions and cost way less than a phone would. Also super easy to filling in claim form online. Never had a live person but seriously didn't need one. For me this coverage is worth having.

Fast and easy to handle for son's replacement in a timely manner. Would recommend to a friend for their family. Only problem is the find your iPhone disconnect is extremely confusing especially if phone is broken or lost as has been the case when I have had to use the policy.

After my Pixel had a drowning incident I called Asurion to replace my phone, which they did. The process was easy and I was back up and running with my refurbished phone. Within 4 days the replacement phone crashed. It happened on a weekend and the phone wasn't sent to me until Wed after I called wondering where my phone was. I finally received replacement phone#2. Everything was fine for 2 weeks then it crashed just like the first one. I couldn't make or receive calls, it would restart without warning, touch screen freeze, and no Bluetooth. This happened over labor day wknd, so another long wait for replacement phone to arrive. It's been a little over a week and so far so good, except a few people have text me and I've not received their texts. I will be troubleshooting this issue.

The service provided by Asurion is always quick, easy, and on time. I have never had an issue with them having a new phone at my door the next day. Now if I could just figure out how to stop breaking the phones I could stop needing this amazing service.

I was warned that if you start your claim after 5 pm don't expect your phone for a couple of days. I started my claim at 7:30 pm and the replacement phone arrived 3 pm the following day at work via FedEx. Amazing.

We had a great experience with Asurion. They were super fast with shipping a replacement phone. We were able to complete everything online which was convenient. They made it so easy to replace my son's lost phone. I will definitely be continuing our insurance plan.

To get my new phone all I had to do was fill in the online form which was only a few lines and I had my replacement phone almost immediately. It took 2 days only because I filled out the forms on a Saturday, they don't deliver on Sundays. The replacement was the new Moto Z2 Play, a model that had just been released only 2 months prior to my getting it. I'm quite happy with the new phone. It does far more than my old Galaxy did. Having insurance through Asurion, on my phone, was such a worthwhile investment. I'm glad I did it and of course I have it on my new Moto Z.

The replacement cell phone I received has a touch screen which does not work properly. I have to press very hard on the screen and often the touch screen does not work at all. It's frustrating and I'm very dissatisfied with the replacement. The customer service was good and I received the replacement in a timely manner. I'm just not sure what to do with this awful replacement. Please let me know if there are any options.

The phone was stolen while working out of state. The claims process was surprisingly easy, and the service was very responsive. The replacement phone was in my hands by noon the next day! I was very impressed, and will continue to cover all 6 phones on our Verizon plan with Asurion!

Had to have 2 phones replaced. Representatives were very polite and helpful. Received replacements the next morning. This was a wise investment. I would recommend this service to anyone purchasing a new phone. Because my previous phone had been discontinued, I was given several choices for a new phone. I think the replacement phone I chose is a better phone than the one I replaced.

I dropped my phone and broke it. Not even a picture. Pulled up ASURION and ordered a replacement. Got it in two days. What a life saver. I use my phone for work so it was important to get it fast. Would have gotten it the next day if have ordered just an hour earlier. It was already after 5PM.

We returned my daughter's phone due to damage. We had a hard time getting the claim approved. Once we did, we took the old phone to Verizon to have them assist us in taking the phone off of the iCloud. They said the phone was good to go. I received an email from Asurion saying that it was not removed and to follow the instruction on the website. We did this. I have screenshots showing the phone is not on my daughters iCloud or on our home iCloud.
I called "The Office of the CEO" and explained the entire story to her. She said that it was handled and I would not receive any more calls. Two days ago I received another call saying the phone was not removed from the iCloud. I do not know what else to do! I have followed the directions and called. I have spent well over 15 hours to get this resolved. I am not a happy customer!

Within 1 week of purchasing our new phones, there was an accident which left one of the 2 completely crushed and unusable. Asurion’s process for making the claim was very easy. The one drawback was having to pay the additional fee to get the replacement. However, that's somewhat of an expectation.

My screen stopped working so I contacted Asurion for a replacement. I had the iPhone 6S - once I got it everything worked on it but the camera was blurry. I was about to go on vacation and knew I would need my camera. They got me a new phone in two days and on top of that they were out of the iPhone 6S so they sent me a 7S at no extra charge! Amazing!!

First I had someone from Asurion's providers come and fail to correctly fix my screen, after paying the appropriate deductible which is not cheap. Then after that failed to fix the problem, I was sent a refurbished phone. However this phone was clearly not refurbished correctly either. The battery runs down very quickly, and will go from 50% to 1% in a matter of seconds (literally) and then when I plug it in, it says it has 45%. It is not reading its own battery and making it impossible to know how much battery life I actually have. If you are going to provide refurbished phones, they need to work correctly! The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that I was sent the phone so quickly when I alerted Asurion to the first phone's issue.

Asurion was good about replacing the broken iPhone. I think however AT&T have a better plan than that one with Verizon. The replacement price was $149-199 from Asurion with Verizon. The Asurion replacement cost was $112 from AT&T. We may have used the insurance once in over 5 years. My daughter however with AT&T hadn't used her insurance in over 2 years and got an upgrade plus paid less then I did with Verizon. Same problem, same insurance company (Asurion), different providers. Now why is this?

Our damaged phone was replaced with no problems. We reported this to the company and a replacement was received within two days along with all the necessary equipment needed to go with it. I would recommend Asurion to insure your cell phone through.

The iPhone had been dropped and, had a severely cracked screen. It also would not turn on. The phone was replaced with no problems. The finder had not been turned off b/c the phone would not cut on, so they sent instructions.
