When I bought phone insurance from AT&T, the agent in the store said the deductible over a damaged or lost phone is only $100. When the chickens came home to roost, turns out it is $225 deductible for an iPhone. I just said 'forget it.' After our account with AT&T is complete, I will never deal with them again, and I will go to dailysale.com for a replacement, even if I have to downgrade to an iPhone 5.

Asurion did all that I could have asked of them. I told them of my problem and within two days I had a new phone in hand! I went to the Apple Store to see if it could be fixed and they responded that my insurance would cover the replacement, being that it was found to be unfixable!

My iPhone 6S broke so I contacted Asurion. The customer service rep that I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and friendly. She offered a few options until we decided that I needed a replacement phone. Within a few days I received my replacements phone in the mail. Thanks for the prompt and quick service. My replacement phone is perfect.

Samsung note 5 would not work and I was told by Verizon agent to put in a claim. I did so and mailed the old phone in the pre-pack and received a new one. Everything went as stated in the phone conversation to report the incident.

With my first replacement phone the earpiece didn't work so you immediately sent me a new one the next day. The new one was sent was the wrong color so you immediately sent me the correct color and I couldn't be happier. As I grow older I rely on my phone to remind me of so many things and helps me keep my bills and personal affairs in order so having a quick replacement helps me stay in check with all my responsibilities. My daughter cracked the screen on her phone. Local shops wanted way too much to fix a 3 yr old phone. Contacted Asurion, filed a claim and within 24 hrs a newer, refurbished phone was in my daughter's hand. The cost using my Asurion plan was far better than the local guys and we even got a Model Year newer phone for the one that was damaged.

This experience I had with Asurion will be the reason I cancel my protection plan with Verizon. The worst experience anyone could predict. All of the operators need to be retrained. Nobody was on the same page. Everyone had different responses and you sent me a dead phone. Had to have another phone sent. Then they never processed order so I had to wait 2 extra days over weekend. I will be posting to social media. Nobody should have to go through this when they pay for this service.

My Galaxy S7 Edge had a cracked screen which couldn't be repaired. After contacting Asurion, they had the phone replaced in two days from the time I made the claim. The online process was easy and the communications from Asurion was fantastic. I almost thought of canceling this coverage, glad I didn't and I will be keeping it on all of my phones. Thanks.

In terms of customer service and product delivery, outstanding. However, as for policy, it's fairly unfair that I had to pay for a whole device replacement fee when my phone just have a small crack on the screen. The company have screen replacement fee and not on my device. While I know that screen repair is not easy for Galaxy S8, the company should really work on it so that consumers doesn't have to pay for large sum.

Everything did go as plan. Fast delivery went smooth with putting claim. The only thing is the phone does not rotate even with the option in the menu on. It is minor but annoying. Can't watch my videos on full screen. It also has a delay on the "A" button. Can we do anything about this??

I was very pleased with the expediency of getting my new iPhone 6. However, there's something not completely the same about this phone. For some reason it seems slower and the touch screen is off a little bit. Like it doesn't always recognize where my finger is or scroll over to the correct space.

I received a replacement phone pretty quickly after putting my order through, which is the only positive thing I have to say about my experience. I previously had a 6s, and was sent the 6plus. After being phoneless for days, I decided to tough it out and buy a new case/screen protector and just make it work. However, it was evident from the beginning that there are battery issues. It has already dropped 3% since I started writing this review. When it gets below 50%, it will randomly die if I have an app open. You do not receive a new phone with your purchase, but a refurbished phone that someone has had before. I am very dissatisfied with the phone I received and it has left me in some precarious situations being that it dies quickly and randomly.

My phone was defective... Not damaged, tried to get it exchanged within 90 days of activation. After HOURS on the phone with Asurion and Verizon, I could only get a replacement for a defective phone if I paid the $150 deductible. Your product and services suck!

I have been very pleased that I added the insurance for lost/stolen phones to my Verizon plan. I pay for the phone for my adult son, who has lost 1 phone while floating a river, and had 2 others stolen. Asurion was very easy to work with and I had replacement phones within 24 hours. He just lost another one, and I will have to do another replacement. He won't be getting this one since he is obviously irresponsible, but, I am not losing a phone, that I still have to pay for, whether it is lost or not. Very much appreciated.

I went to Asurion's website and within ten minutes I had completed all information and was informed by email that I would receive my replacement the next day. Asurion did quickly and efficiently replace my son's phone but they first denied the claim! We had full coverage so I contacted my Verizon dealer who helped me out. Once the claim was accepted everything was handled well. While I appreciate the efficiency, the extra hassle of having to contact the dealer was aggravating.

Asurion is very fast and reliable. The online process needs to tweaked a little bit. For some reason I had to submit my form about 3 times before they could receive it. On a positive note, I like that they send you a confirmation email saying that they received the damage device. I would definitely recommend a friend to trust Asurion.

I had to order a phone for my son at school due to his phone breaking. It said it was coming the next day. It was not the next day and they said they had a problem with the address. I called again. In the meantime he has no phone and uses it for college. I have to email him because his house has no home phone. He finally get the phone and it won't charge. He takes it to Verizon and it still won't work. He emails me again. I have to get him to talk to a rep and he can only email. After a considerable amount of time and hardship he has another one sent. He is in college full time and can not sit in a phone or even have a phone to talk. He has class and has to go to a Verizon store to try to get a broken phone you sent him working. When it was supposed to be taken care of the first time not the third and well over a week. Completely annoyed that I pay monthly for a service like this.

Other than replacing my Motorola Droid Maxx 2 very quickly, this "new" (refurbished 4 sho) Moto Z Play phone is not the step up that Verizon or Asurion would have me believe. No screen protection for it PERIOD! Otter Box doesn't even carry protection for this "upgrade" I received. I am already having problems with this thing. When I make or receive a call the screen goes blank so fast that I do not have time to hit the speaker button. I can't even hang up the phone. I ran over my phone with my tractor and Asurion had a new phone to me the next day and I was back up and going shortly after that. The un-install of Find my iPhone before I packed up the damaged phone was the hardest thing about the replacement. I would like that to be easier but I did find an Apple rep that walked me through it. But overall I am very happy.

The first phone I received worked for less than 24 hours before just completely turning off. Now this new phone that I've had for about 2-3 weeks glitches when using the keyboard and tapping on the screen. Very unsatisfied with the amount I pay for insurance through Verizon and having these issues.

The replacement phone I received appears older than the model I had and the battery life is terrible. My previous phone would last easily all day but this new one dies after only a few hours and the charging port doesn't work very well. It only charges with certain chargers and it can't be moved while hooked up to the charger or it will disconnect. It's terrible, I'm completely unsatisfied but the thought of having to switch all of my information over to a new phone again is disheartening...

After paying for coverage 26 months, my Note 4 got a small lens Crack and battery would not hold. I filed a claim and received a refurbished Note 4. Phone would not work... locked up, was extremely slow, dropped calls, and could not run simple apps. Verizon had tech support do a test and results were there wasn't enough RAM. Same phone, nothing stored on it yet and I had not downloaded any of my old apps except the weather channel. I called to request my $149 back and was happy I had not sent my old Note 4 in. I was told they would send a return box and refund my cost. It's been 11 days and still waiting on return box. For the $234 I paid for insurance coverage plus $149 cost for replacement, I would never take coverage out on a device again.

I recently had a water damaged device and used my device insurance with Asurion to get it replaced. My experience was 100 times better than I expected it to be going in. I found it was extremely easy to file the claim on their website, and then a new device arrived in the mail the very next day! It was super easy to activate it and then I was back in business less than 24 hours later. Also, sending back my damaged device was equally just as easy as they provided a padded addressed envelope that I simply dropped in the mail. I got emails all along the way to keep me advised of the status of my claim and my devices. The whole process was super easy from start to finish, went very smoothly, and was super fast! I am extremely happy with the way this whole thing worked! 5 stars to Asurion!

It was ok but for a new "refurbished" phone it sure doesn't stay charged long. My old phone last two days. This one last maybe ten hours. Battery is garbage. Got the phone to me in a timely manner packaged nice and tight. Didn't show up damaged. Phone lags at times.

The online process of completing a claim is pretty straightforward. My only complaint are the chats. Every time I would contact a rep I always felt rushed to get off chat. They wouldn't try to answer my questions fully because they had to look into my account. But at the end my question was answered.

The process of filing a claim and getting the phone was seamless and quick. The frustrating part came after the fact in deleting the phone from the Find my iPhone App. We followed their instructions and spoke with Asurion rep as well as Verizon rep and even after phone was deleted I still was getting emails from Asurion that my phone was still not deleted and I would get a fee. I received a couple of these emails and had to call each time and explain what happened and each time told should be ok. I hope it is after last call.

Claim was put in late afternoon, and I received my new phone the next day. There was not a exact replacement phone available at the time of my claim. I was given two different options that were satisfying replacements. I now have a Samsung galaxy s7 that is working well for me.

I was told it would take 3-5 days to get a stolen phone replaced, it's been 11 so I contacted Asurion about when it would show up. It's still on back order and the same generic answer of it should ship in 3-5 days, but they are out of stock. I asked if I could go to the local Sprint store to get a phone as they have plenty (I checked last week after the first conversation), they said that's not an option. I've paid these thieves $13 a month for close to two years now plus this phone that's been on it for 2 months prior to the theft. It's bad enough the 'insurance' is only paying half the price of the phone, but to be lied to about the availability is just too much. I will be closing down my accounts when the month I've already paid ends.

I dropped my phone and there was a tiny pebble that hit the just the right spot and broke the screen to the point that it would not function correctly. I called and was told that I had a deductible. The first replacement phone you sent lasted 2 weeks before it stopped working. It is now at my local Verizon store. The second replacement phone you sent never even turned on! It is also at my local Verizon store. They couldn't get it to turn on either. I am currently using an old phone that I kept while I wait for my new one to come in. My experience with getting the phone was great. Unfortunately, the phone is not working properly. The screen seems to be ultra touchy, and when I am talking on the phone, if it even briefly touches my face, which is impossible NOT to do, I end up suddenly face timing someone, or dialing random numbers during my call. I looked online to see if there was a setting I could change, but found nothing. I am not happy with my replacement phone at all due to this problem. It is extremely annoying.

The initial service was great and phone arrived very quickly. However within days of activating phone I realized the speaker is terrible and people I call often can't hear me so I have to use earbuds. I was in the middle of traveling across country and selling a house so I didn't have time to deal with getting a replacement. The turnaround to ship the new device was very quick as promised and the instructions were very clear to follow. My only complaint is that the battery life of the replacement is terrible. In one 15 minute drive using Waze, my phone went from 70% to 20% battery. Then after charging for 5 minutes it was back to 70%. Clearly a refurbished model with a shorter or older battery life. Disappointed in that given the cost of insurance plus cost of replacement.

Outstanding customer service. Expedited delivery service. I would not recommend a plan without this service, a #1 in my book. My daughter's phone was stolen (hopefully it will be recovered and the perpetrator will be prosecuted). My wife, a week and a half later had lost her phone (new to a smart phone). Didn't have locator setting active. I'm sure it will turn up in the future because it was active for a few days before the battery went dead. A few years back my other daughter lost her phone at a concert and it was returned in the mail, some weeks later.

I didn't get my phone in 24 hour, but 2 weeks instead because my phone model (only a year old) was out of stock. I still had to pay the full amount of my deductible even though I didn't get my phone when I should have. On top of that the speaker on my phone started malfunctioning after having it for a week. I know that this review won't really matter because Asurion essentially has a monopoly on insurance for Verizon customers. So they will continue to get business if they give good service or not. I would love to be proven wrong, I am about to submit another claim since my phone is already malfunctioning. Hopefully there will be a quick turnaround and phone is still under warranty. I would love to hear from someone concerning the company's lack of good sound fundamental business practices. Thank you.

At first, Asurion wanted to replace my phone with an upgraded model of the one I had. The problem was that the newer model wasn't as good as the one it was replacing. The specs (standby and usage time) on the average, were 1/3 less. Other specs were also not as good! They finally gave me the option to replace it with a much better and more expensive phone (top of the line) at no charge so it all worked out fine!

It was a nightmare trying to get a phone and was finally resolved after a call from Verizon which took over 2 hrs in which once we thought it was resolved they connected us back to the normal agent where we had to start all over again. They finally got me back to A manager who then told me they didn't have my phone so they upgraded me to the S6 which did not have the same storage capability or battery replacement that my S5 had. The phone I got is ok and is functioning. I suggest that Asurion review their pricing policy regarding accounts which have 4 or more phones. The replacement device arrived quickly but the device itself is not great. Every time I start the camera there is a mechanical noise and it takes a few second for it to stop and for the screen to stop glitching.

Overall I had a good experience filing a claim for my son's iphone online. I thought the process took a little longer than I had expected but I understand you have to go through a verification process because of fraud.

Fast and super easy claim process. My replacement device was received within 24 hour of claim submission. Instructions for activation of the new device and a return envelope for return of the damaged device was included. Asurion simply can't be beat. My phone with all the accessories was stolen from my car 2 weeks after I purchased it. I requested if Asurion can provide a new device so I can get everything back. I was promised I will get a new device. Mail arrives and I found a refurbished phone... anyway I decided to keep it. After restoring it I found out the home button doesn't work properly. I call in for a new replacement and I explained again my situation. The representative assured me I will get a new one since they had in stock. I wait for the mail just to find out there is a refurbished phone again. I had to leave after 2 days outside USA so I didn't have time to change again. Overseas the phone freezes 2 times and I had to wait for battery to die to restart the phone. Answering calls sometimes doesn’t respond. I need to close it and call back. My screen went out after a couple of months with my new Galaxy S8+. My new phone arrived in a couple of days and there was no hassle or complaints about Asurion's service. I just wish there was a lower deductible than the $200 I had to pay... But, that's better than paying full price for a whole new phone.

Was told I would get my phone the next day by 1200. Didn't receive it until 2 days later, blamed it on FedEx plane problems. But if you promise it to be there and it isn't they failed no matter what. Should have been given a discount because of but wasn't offered anything. Spoke with some jackleg supervisor and was told didn't have to be delivered for 30 days by contract. Well if you say it will be there next day when you file a claim then I think that supersedes what your contract says.

I was very pleased with the promptness of replacement! Great service, but I dropped the phone upon opening it and cracked the screen! I tried to do a quick replacement immediately as I'm still dealing with a cracked screen, but was directed thru ID photo etc, don't know what to do now! Except deal with cracked screen! I'm not knowledgeable as to follow up with taking picture of driver's license etc and email or forwarding to Asurion. Please assist me! Thank you very much.

It is not a matter of if, it's a matter of when your phone will be damaged. With Asurion, it's no problem. I opted for replacement, and it was fast and easy. You can also opt for repair. My screen was badly cracked, and since it was going to be a major repair, I got the replacement. No problem.

I loved this insurance although it was a bit on the pricier side! And it was a bit confusing upon returning the device. I was unsure if to put it in a box or how to track it to make sure it got to you. Other than that it was quick with the overnight shipping and instructions were easy to follow through!

In the past, it was always a nightmare to get insurance to replace a phone. I was so surprised how easy this was! It only took one phone call and it was all handled. The new phone was delivered very quickly with really good instructions, however the phone itself was disappointing. I understand that they're just refurbished phones, but the one I received was in cosmetically worse shape than the broken one I sent in. The aluminum edges were dinged up and very sharp while the sides were stained light blue from being in someone else's pants pocket. That being said, I'm glad to have a phone again so quickly.

I called to check on if I could get a 2nd replacement since my GPS was not working correctly. I thought I would have to do a lot of paperwork since I had received a phone 1 yr ago. The person I talked to did everything and I had a new phone 3 days later!!!
