    Replacement of Note 5 - The service was great however due to it being a Friday, I did not receive my replacement phone until Monday afternoon. This was not 24 hours later. This was very disappointing. I do understand the weekend thing, however all delivery services delivery on Saturday, why did I have to wait until Monday?

    This company and their service is a joke. I have been without a phone for an entire month. I have paid hundreds of dollars for years so that I could utilize this plan in the event my phone was damaged. It has been a horrific scam. I have spent HOURS of my precious time filing claims, attempting to complete claims, being put on hold and disconnected and still I await a phone. My phone was damaged a month ago. Last week I was told I would be upgraded for a better phone with my gb only to find out today that that is not the case and that I might need to wait another week for a phone to come available. I will discontinue this service once I have a new phone. At $11 a month for 5 years I have dished out $660... Money I could of used to purchase a new phone right in the store. I would give 0 stars if it was an option.

    Most of the process was pleasant except for the fact that my replacement is not only refurbished, but defective still. The phone does not carry the network signal if not on WiFi and even then the phone functions solely on the WiFi connection.     I was satisfied with how quick and easy it was to file a claim and receive my replacement device, but I was not satisfied with the replacement device itself. It makes sounds in my ear on the phone, the screen won’t always read my touch, it lags every now and then, calls don’t always come through, and it won’t make alert sounds when I receive a text or email, when the phone isn’t on silent. I called to see if I could get a different replacement device and they told me to factory reset the phone (which would delete everything I have on it). Which I don’t see how that will help since it was factory reset when I got it and it was already not functioning properly. It would be great if I could get a replacement device that works properly.

We were told the phone was out of stock, and it would be 3-5 days. Okay. Bummer, but we could figure it out. 5 days later... Nothing. We called, we're told it's still out of stock. My husband runs his own restaurant, and needs a phone, so could they send any phone until his comes in stock? No. Any phone they send would be the replacement, and there was nothing even close to comparable. With continued phone calls, and nothing, we received the phone TWO WEEKS later! We had to borrow a friend's phone while waiting. What's the point of insurance if it really does nothing, and we're still paying money for the replacement???

    After paying for "protection" that supposedly covered my phone in the event of loss or damage, I submitted my first claim after the screen on my son's iPhone 6 Plus was cracked. My credit card was charged for my deductible and I was told a mobile repair technician would be at my home the following day to repair the phone. The following day however, the service call was inexplicably canceled. When I called to determine what was happening I was told that they were unable to repair the cracked screen. They helpfully suggested that I replace the entire phone... and pay the $200.00 deductible. By the way, I'm still waiting for my refund... 10 days later.

    I've been waiting for a replacement phone for over two weeks now! First time, the employee on the phone filed the wrong phone (an iPhone 6 instead of 6 plus), I've contacted customer service when I received the 6 and the man told me "well in my file it says you've received a 6 plus" and that he couldn't do anything about it, he assured me that a supervisor will call in the next 48 hours... Almost 3 days later with no call, I call back and another man tells me that I need to print fill out and scan documents to prove that it is an iPhone 6 plus (even though it was not my fault I've received a 6!) which was inconvenient for me. After having to call multiple times and being transferred between departments which took a lot of my time, my claim was filed again and I've been told my phone will be shipped asap.

    After a couple of days with no shipment notice, I've had to call yet again... the employee hung up on me (not sure if by accident or no) without bothering to call back, so I had to call a second time. The man told me that they can only send me the new phone when I send back the iPhone 6 I got by mistake (which no one told me about! I was planning on sending them back on the same day). Therefore I had to go out of my way again to the UPS to send the phone... that was Wednesday.

    I've been told that as soon as they scan the package at UPS they will be able to send out the new phone, so after a couple of days with nothing again I call back, the man told me that they just now received my package (it was Friday, even though I've received an email saying they have received my package Thursday) and that they will ship out a phone on Monday. Well, it is Tuesday now, and still nothing. I'm tired of wasting my time with these ridiculous calls, over two weeks for a replacement phone when they claim it will take 24 hours is just outrageous and I will never pay for Asurion again!

    I have been dealing with Asurion through Fido. They send new or like new phones in case something goes wrong with your phone, if you pay for protection plan on your Fido plan. They do not mention that like new phones are refurbished phones, previously damaged, some quite seriously. In my case, I bought a new Samsung but had to take it back because it was not working properly, so Asurion replaced it for me. Ever since then, I had to send back 5 new or like new phones Asurion kept sending me.

    I use phone for work so they have cost me money, time and missing few important trips. The customer service is horrible, they keep using the word sorry but a written apology is not under terms and regulations. After all the inconvenience caused to me, they offered a $25 gift card... Disrespectful and sad. Tried contacting them on Facebook, Twitter, personal representative, only replies I got was on Facebook and those barely related to my questions and did not answer any. Be very careful!!!

    The refurbished device I received is very poor quality. People cannot hear me speaking when I call them, when using speaker phone the volume is extremely quiet even when the device volume is maxed out. The glass screen scratches with the lightest contact from another object. The touch screen freezes with every use. With a cost of $11 and $150 deductible the quality of the replacement should be much higher. I'm planning on canceling my insurance.

    I had a phone replaced by Asurion. They failed to send the return packaging & materials. I called and advised as soon as new phone was received, they overnighted a new one - never arrived. Called Asurion on 9/28/17, again they told me that they would over-night - never arrived, they will send out another but they have already back-charged me for not returning the phone to them. By week's end, should I not receive the packaging I intend to go to small claims court. Asurion office of the CEO refuses to give me the information necessary - entity information - to put on the small claims court filing. I desire to get my $550.00 they back-charged me plus the cost of filing.

    I found this to be one of the least painful phone insurance transactions I have done. Doing it online helped a lot, as phone broken and I live alone. The only thing I would say is the constant make sure not on find phone iCloud deal. I never set up iCloud, so I was trying to double check not on my daughter's account. As she inherited my Apple ID when she moved out, as it had more of her stuff then it did mine.     Bought a 2017 MacBook Air from the MCX. Next day I spill my whole cup of Coke on it like an idiot. Good thing I bought the protection plan from Asurion right? Start a claim. Wait 3-5 business days to have box sent to me to ship laptop. Ship laptop. Was told from day I ship laptop, it would be ten day max until I either get it back repaired, get a replacement, or refund to buy another one. Determined unrepairable after 11 days. They give me two options as a replacement: a Acer laptop, or a 2015 MacBook Air (I only knew it was a 2015 because I checked the specs and the processor was different-- if I didn't review all the specs I would have never known until it got to me and was too late.) Since I turned in a 2017 MacBook Air I was confused why this wasn't one of my options for a replacement, so called them to find out.

    They claim I sent in a 2012 MacBook Air, and they were actually offering me an upgrade. I tell them this was absolutely not the case; I still have the box and part/serial/model number and receipt all indicating it was indeed a 2017, and I would not accept a 2015 replacement. They say I need to wait 1-2 business days for a call from the repair department to confirm. I ask if they can just transfer me to whatever necessary department instead of waiting to be called back. Apparently this department does not accept incoming calls (?!) so I have to wait. I wait, another department calls back confirming I sent in a 2012 MacBook. I tell them again to get their shit together because I'm not taking anything other than the MacBook Air with the same specs as I sent in. Again have to wait another 1-2 business days to hear from another department.

    It's been 20 days so far and I STILL have yet to get this issue resolved, and I'm the one suffering the consequences of their negligent mistakes. And the fact that I have to wait 1-2 business days for a call back because for some ** reason they can't just connect me then and there is absolutely insane. I actually received a call at 7am on a Friday (today) and missed it by like two seconds because I was sleeping, called the same number back and was told I would have to wait 1-2 business days for a call back from the person whom I missed.

    This makes absolutely no sense. I have been trying to just get a refund at this point so I can go back to the MCX and just buy another one, because I'm not accepting a 2015, and this whole process has been a nightmare. Make sure you CHECK THE DETAILS of what they're trying to replace your product with, or you'll end up with a model older than what you had originally paid for/sent in (if you even end up with a replacement at all, scam artists.)

    Definitely appreciate the prompt service, and the grace period to get the phone back at this point... Have always had problems with Verizon phone replacements, and upgrades. It was better this time than the last time. Though the contacts still copy wrong & improperly, where they now cross mix, and copy over multiple times, and it takes me forever to straighten it out. Have Unknown files of close to 2000 or so that are all mixed up, along with other contacts that have copied at least twice, up to 20 plus times. Have started to sort things out. It can be extremely frustrating with files copying and mixing over & over in the Unknown files.

    That is the biggest reason why it takes me so long to return the old phones. My present old phone has a charging port problem, diagnosed initially by Verizon. Also before the repair option was available, I had previously replaced 2 screens due to having no choice, as it was that, or lose a large amount of data. Have had to put a lot of personal money into this phone...

    As far as data backup, and transfer, it has never been a simple procedure with Verizon, as every time something comes up to make matters miserable, or cause some delay one way or the other. As previously mentioned, though the transfer was better this time, the file mixing and copying has greatly exacerbated to a point of being almost out of control. Only other issue that I noticed was the phone battery drains rather quickly for a brand new phone and battery. For the sake of my peace of mind, it would be great if you could sent out a new battery...

    Thank you for asking my opinion. Do realize much of this concern sits with Verizon. Also, if you have any recommendations to simplify these matters now, and in the future, please let me know. Any additional help, if available, is always appreciated. Still have some stuff that I must transfer and take care of on my own.     Overall, I found everyone I dealt with at Asurion to be very professional. I actually only had a problem with the US Post Office because they didn't scan the package I had returned the phone in when I mailed it from St. Louis on 9/9/17. I just put it in the mailbox outside the post office. It finally was scanned when it arrived in Memphis almost 2 weeks later.     My first refurbished replacement was not working properly, then the second refurbished replacement didn't work properly, so I was doubting the whole reason for insurance at all. On the third try, I was given a new phone, different model. Works great. Still though, adding up all the insurance payments plus the cost of the replacement, I would have been better off not having insurance.

    My phone that I sent back was working perfect. The only reason I use the insurance to get my phone replaced was because I wanted my screen not cracked. Got my replacement and my phone sometimes take forever to load a video and the Camera sucks! It doesn't auto focus. The camera behind the phone.

    Issues using website - Called customer service and Shantee ans. explained issue and she just started talking. Asked her to slow down as I am not comp literate. She just started to talk again. I asked her to stop talking and give me a chance to do what she req. She became hostile and would only say a form was missing, asked her 4x to get me super, finally she did. Will got on phone and after brief conversation solved issues. He was great. Only reason gave you 3 star.
