However, I am finding with my new one is refurbished and finding it has many issues. Freezes easy, auto spell check is horrible and not helpful at times, and keyboard is annoying because it does not type what I know I am typing! Did not have this trouble with first cell until it had been shattered. Also having trouble with camera at times. I guess I can handle until I am able to buy new cell.     Here is a company that insists you send your phone back the next day but then takes up to a month to claim your phone was received and under warranty. They put a hold on your upgrade even though you have a warranty and didn't break it. This is the worst type of monopoly and should not be tolerated. They also have lost my phone in the past and it took several calls and a receipt to prove they lost my claim.

    I was originally offered three replacement items for a broken tablet that were sub-par in almost every specification, screen size, processor, RAM, battery life, etc. I brought this up to a CS representative and I was given a refund for the original value of the tablet. The refund was offered as an "e-gift card" that could have been delivered within hours. Somehow the "system" logged it as a check refund. It has been over a month and I have yet to receive the check in the snail mail. This kind of service is unsatisfactory mainly because of the delay for a resolution. If I depended on the refund solely to purchase the replacement tablet, I would have been further dissatisfied and deemed the overall process unacceptable.

    I was made to fill out an affidavit to prove that I was indeed the owner of a stolen phone. I had to submit personal documentation in order to prove my identity that I was extremely uncomfortable providing to Asurion given that there were no clear privacy information rules, no explanation given as to what information will be shared with other entities, if any, and no confirmation that their data is secure. With all of the recent privacy breaches, I highly doubt that Asurion can keep my information personal. Totally unnecessary to request this affidavit since I confirmed all other information needed to file a claim. For the cost of this insurance, you get nothing in return. Total waste of money and service!

    We got the new phone and it wasn't activated and was not given that option and there was an issue with the phone and customer service was closed so they couldn't help. We finally got it to work 2 days later which was an issue itself so nobody could reach me if needed. I have everything backed up to the cloud and only 10-15 of the contacts transferred and since I try to put them back on the phone it deleted it from cloud until I backed it up again.     The prices went way up to replace a phone. They said it's because the phones are more expensive, while they might be more expensive but not Double the price. I called them about replacing a phone that stop working and they gave me a price of $150. I said that's more than I had to pay last year for a phone, that's when they told me about how the phones are more expensive now. I said, "Ok. It's not that much more. Let's do it." So they said I had to go online and fill out all this paperwork before I can get my phone. After doing the paperwork the price came up with it being $200.     The timing of the replacement was good. I had to go to a local Verizon supplier to activate it. Now I have no audio on telephone calls placed or received on the replacement telephone. I am unable to find a setting to correct this. The phone went into an update loop yesterday. I went to a local Verizon store where the representative was able to get it out of the loop. We were able to communicate on the telephone, but as soon as I left the store, the audio was gone again. I am able to communicate via the Bluetooth in my vehicle so I'm sure it's the telephone device itself. What do I do now?

    My recent experience replacing my phone was OK, but there were a few things that were a little frustrating about it. I was very happy that my ID, and status as an administrator of the account was scrutinized; this action was very reassuring to know that no one would be able to obtain a replacement phone on mine and my grandmother's cellphone account without proper ID validation, and know that the service we pay for is going to be available when we need it. The need to print up and sign a form, was very frustrating, and delayed my ability to finish submitting my claim by several days, being as for the past few months, I've been in the hospital and have not had the ability to use any of the printers on site, and since me and my family live 60 miles from the hospital, it was several days before my family was able to bring down a printed copy of the form for me to sign and send in.

    I do not understand why you don't have a form available that can be signed using a touchscreen phone, tablet, or computer; or why the signature on my driver's license, which I had to submit, couldn't have been used. The other thing I was a little frustrated about is the delivery of my phone. I would have expected that such a delivery would have required my ID and signature, for security, however, it did not, and some secretary here at the hospital, who I had never met, was allowed to receive and sign for my new phone, without me knowing it had even been delivered yet, and the scary part to me is that there are very dishonest patients here who love to pose as staff and get into mischief, and other patients with severe dementia and other mental health issues, who aren't able to discern what's going on, and take other people's property all the time.

    Lastly, I feel the condition of the new phone that I received should have been a lot better. I understand that part of the service means I will possibly (and probably) receive a reconditioned device rather than a brand new one, however, I feel as though the screen on this device has a few too many scratches and other signs of significant wear on it, for it to be acceptable as a device for that price. The device I received probably wouldn't even be able to sell for $50, much less the $150 that I paid for it, plus the $10 a month for the last 7 years.

    Whoever is in charge of the quality control on your refurbishing department, needs to have their work scrutinized a lot better, and possibly be replaced with someone who actually cares about delivering a good, high quality product. Also, the charger that I received with the device was not like the original charger. The original charger had Quick charge 2.0 and had a 6 foot cable. The charger I received was a trickle charger (which takes almost 2 days to charge it), and had only a 2 foot cable. Another major quality control issue.

    If you bought an item new and insure it, that should mean you get a brand new item when you make a claim-not a refurbished item. This is how insurance works. Especially with a deductible as high as $150 which is probably about 50% of the value of a brand new phone for my model. The monthly fee is high for receiving a refurbished phone. Asurion is practically a scam. I will say that the quality of the refurbishment is pretty good, but mine doesn't keep a charge as long. It also took 4 days to ship, with what I've paid they should have used overnight. We as consumers need to demand fair insurance. I'll be cancelling Asurion and looking for something better.

    The back glass on my son's phone broke, so I needed to file a claim to get it replaced. I ended up having to call after I'd already submitted everything online, but the person I spoke to was very helpful and got everything taken care of. It was a holiday weekend so my son didn't get the replacement phone until the following Tuesday, but that wasn't a problem.
