My phone was incredibly difficult to set up. I have used a lot of smart phones and several iPhones. I understand the process, but this one was particularly difficult. After I got it "working," it would continuously disconnect from service and give SIM card warnings (SIM card error, no SIM card found, etc.). Finally, I took the phone in to Verizon and had them take a look at it. It required a new card to function properly, and they set it up for me from there. While I appreciated the quick response and the ease of actually receiving the phone quickly, that was eclipsed by the fact that it took me a few days to actually get it working properly.

Very fast and friendly customer service. Phone worked perfectly. I will definitely use Asurion again for my phone needs. It was easy to file a claim with your fast and friendly sales reps. I insure all of my five phones with Asurion.

Customer service was great helping me replace my phone. I think paying for insurance every month should be your coverage on top of whatever issue your phone has. You shouldn’t have to pay another $200 deductible when you have been paying your insurance monthly. Every month adds up more than $200 so it’s not fair to pay a month fee and when your phone has an issue and you have to pay more? Very unhappy about paying extra when I pay for insurance monthly for years!

Have new phone. Not same as broken one. Broken was Moto Z Force, with longer battery life and unbreakable screen. Replacement is Moto Z Droid poor battery life. Brought a battery mod to get through the day. Can't buy a protective case for phone with use of battery mod. Have slip in a slide in holster. If it slips it if my hand it might be easily broken.

Ever since I receive my device, I have had problems.... Blinking out, not holding a charge, statistic during conversation on phone, I am not happy at all. I would really like a replacement device at no cost to me. Perhaps this replacement device is defected.

The back of my phone shattered and I tried to fill out a form online but, understandably, I needed to call. The lady that helped me over the phone was extremely friendly and very helpful. She emailed me the documents I needed to fill out right away and answered my questions. I got my phone the following Monday, being I requested a new one on a Saturday, and it was waiting for me when I got home. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received.

The service of getting the Galaxy S6 phone was super fast. The phone itself sounds like it is frying or sizzling in the camera mode. It doesn't do it every time. Just half the time. And the picture quality isn't good at all.

I cracked my screen on my new phone only weeks after buying it. I was not happy with Motorola for making their Moto Z2 Play so easy to crack but luckily I had opted for insurance with Asurion. Asurion was very easy to deal with from the moment I contacted them online to the moment I received the new phone. Everything went smoothly. The only thing I didn't care for was the deductible. In my case it was $100 and that is about what a screen replacement would cost if I took it into a shop, however the phone was just released into the market and screens were not yet available anywhere I called. In this case it was worth it.

My iPhone got damaged and I called Asurion to file a claim. It's just an easy and short process. The Representative is kind and polite and said will place an order to send out a new phone to me. It was to my surprise that I receive the new phone on the following day. There is a clear instruction of how to activate the new phone, reminder to back up and restore and erase information in the old phone before sending back to them. It was so efficient and professional.

It was quick and painless until I opened the box. I was sent the wrong phone. I originally had the Samsung s7 edge. But for some reason I was sent just the s7. I didn't complain about it because I need my phone for work.

My phone suddenly went dead and after checking with a Verizon store, they verified that it could not be fixed and that I would have to buy a new one for $700 +. They never asked if I had insurance but when I got home I checked my file and discovered I did. I was very pleasantly surprised when I called Asurion and they told me I could have a replacement phone for $145. Even better, they promised to ship overnight. I had my phone the next day. A very happy customer.

I broke my screen... I then started the process. I was then told the phone was on back order but should have one within the week. 2 1/2 weeks later I was still told it was on back order. In the mean time a co-worker that had the same phone as me happened to drop his... he called and got his sent out to him. At this point I was upset so I called and demanded to talk to someone above them to get any kind of replacement. I was so frustrated that I was willing to get anything. So after my MOTO X Force was broken and you all couldn't replace it... I was given a LG V20 instead. I am extremely upset and disappointed over what I am paying.

Because I had two different phones that broken within a month I had to wait an extra day fax all paperwork to prove it was me that was myself and not fraud. I had given all of the insurance company all the necessary information that asked. This process was very frustrating!

Dealing with you was beyond frustrating! You denied my claim, yet when the Verizon Rep got on the phone & explained same thing I did, the claim was processed. Had I not been at a Verizon store my claim would have been denied. The purpose of paying for insurance is to be taken care of when there's a problem, not for the insurance company to try & frustrate the client to avoid the claim.

1st replacement phone arrived on time, but only worked for 48 hours, before having to send it back. The quality of the refurbished phone was really poor. 2nd replacement phone did not arrive on time. Delivery date given was incorrect.

I contacted Asurion regarding a cell phone that had been damaged. I was given instructions on replacing it and how much money would be "out-of-pocket"... Was very easy and the phone was delivered exactly the day it was to be delivered.

I found it to be quite a hassle to replace my damaged phone. It would be much easier if the forms could be filled out directly online because some people do not have printers. I have had the replacement phone for only a month and it is not holding a charge and recently certain functions are not working correctly. I am not satisfied with this since I did have to pay something for this phone on top of my monthly insurance cost.

Great job love new phone, they discontinued my old one and upgraded me to a Moto Z2 and it's great. I really like how you can add pieces on the back of the phone. It's a big help for me at work and for taking pictures. You also got it to me fast. Thank you for everything!

My replacement device is broken within a month. I did not drop it, it was not submerged in water or anything. It's malfunctioning and there's no way to contact any support because it says "Call this number" but my phone doesn't work... It's ridiculous that I would have to pay to have this fixed or anything.

Filed a claim for non working phone. Got replacement phone after paying the deductible (which was the fair market price of phone on open market). Replacement went well but Asurion wrote back and said the Find Me feature was not turned off. I contacted Verizon and Apple and their investigation showed the Find Me feature was not on and my iCloud account showed the phone was not Find Me enabled. The Apple service person asked how Asurion was able to check this feature since Apple doesn't share that info. Here is hoping that you don't try to charge me that $500 fee.
Updated on 10/24/2017: I got email saying my returned iPhone did not have "Find my iPhone" turned off. WRONG. I verified through Verizon and Apple that the only iPhone I have with Find iPhone activated is my personal phone - not the one involved in this repair/replace claim. I followed the Asurion procedure to the letter - found the broken phone and the replacement phone so I removed the broken phone from the list of phones I am in charge of. I sent an email back to you and informed you that I had done all that could be done and to stop emailing and calling my phones. Yet you continue calling and emailing so at this point all I can say is cease & desist and if you charge me (my account) I will have my lawyer start litigation against you.

Had to replace my husband's phone because his ended up in the ship channel at about 70-80 ft. Placed my claim and no problem great phone. They replaced it no problem but when they wanted me to return the one that was damaged I laugh. I was not going swimming for it. They understood.

Your service was quick and professional however the phone I received does not hold a charge as long as the phone you replaced. My battery power can plummet in hours whereas before it would last all day. Is this something that can be addressed with a new phone?

This is a really awesome plan. I dropped my new phone (2 months old) and it broke my heart that I would have to deal with trying to get a replacement. I submitted a claim and I had a replacement phone within 2 days and was able to return the broken phone very easily. I would not be without this plan on any of our family phones or devices.

I got a replacement phone that was defective in a way where the screen wouldn't work at times. It sounded worse talking to people which never happened with my old phone. It's real buggy, it freezes, the touch screen works when it wants.

The only thing is the battery life on the new phone is going really fast. Other than that customer service was excellent and courteous. So all in all very good experience. I don't agree with the cost of phone replacement if it's a malfunction on the phone itself.

My grandson dropped my phone from the rocking chair onto the carpet. I picked it up and saw it had a crack on the corner on the front and the whole back was shattered. I called and had a replacement phone in two days. Highly recommended this company.

Husband dropped phone in the river. Got replacement phone. It didn't work. Got another replacement phone, it didn't work. 3rd replacement phone was a total upgrade to Galaxy 8. So far so good. Yes we went through some hassles but never was hassled by any customer service rep throughout the whole ordeal. Now time will tell if this new phone will continue to operate properly.

Got information from 2 different reps that you would not need to pay the deductible. After paying $49 for my screen replacement, my screen got replaced. I paid the deductible and the screen then burned out within 1 hour. I was told I would not need to pay the remaining of the deductible since I will use warranty. After many transfers I was made to pay the deductible. Worst experience trying to get my phone.

My phone was lost and I’m in Denver with my son who just had a bone marrow transplant. In between appointments for my son I think I must of see it down somewhere and walked off. I needed my phone back quick. The CSR was nice. She took care of my needs in a timely manner.

Replacement phone does not work and it took so much time to get this phone. From having to wait on hold for over 15 minutes to then fill out the application and find out you need some sort of ISEN number that you cant supply and then have to go back and call Verizon again....very frustrating.

Lost my phone or it was stolen in Las Vegas... worst possible place. Called in to let my phone provider know and to temporarily stop phone service... They put me in touch with Asurion. It was quick and easy. Expensive, really expensive, but it was a painless process. I don't understand why it has to cost $200 to replace a phone, but I guess because we're beholden to them. Asurion was responsive to my request for a new phone and I had a replacement within 48 hours. That was much quicker than I expected. They made the process of returning the broken phone easy as well.

This was the best experience I've had when replacing an IPhone. I was able to have it shipped right to my work and it arrived the next day! The return process was just as quick and easy. I will definitely be using Asurion if I need to replace another phone in the future.

After only two weeks the replacement Samsung tablet is not working. We've tried to reset it, power off and on and it will not turn on. It has been properly charged and prior to it not turning on, the screen kept freezing. I am not sure if we should pay another fee to have it replaced.

I was passed along to 5 different reps while I waited only to be told that a previous member had voided my warranty. Was calling because my replacement phone of less than a month was coming apart and was told I was going to have to pay another $150. I had to beg to get someone to hear what my issue was. I felt like no one believed me and that I was not very important to any of the reps, with exception to the last person I spoke with. When asked to take a survey at the end, my call was terminated. Not the best experience I've ever had.

I almost didn't purchase insurance for my phone because of the misinformation I was getting. Good thing I did. Thanks for the replacement. I had dropped my phone off a cliff while taking pictures and damaged the screen. That wasn't acceptable as I am out in the weather a lot.

The volume buttons stick on this phone. Thought they might break in after a little while but as of today they are still sticking. If you need to turn the volume up/down and press the buttons once, it goes all the way up or all the way down on its own.

My phone broke, shattered, and when trying to get a replacement it was a JOKE. I was told my IMEI # on my phone did not match up with why Verizon's system had for some reason. Asurion talked with Verizon and they both said they would allow a tech to come out and would note in the tech's notes that they would not match, and he could fix it anyways. As this was a glitch in Verizon's system. So the tech comes, and wastes my entire morning and says he has no note, and even if he did, would not fix my phone. Because the numbers HAVE to match. So he leaves.
I was on hold for hours and hours trying to figure this out, and finally talked to a CEO who had my phone replaced completely instead of just the screen. Which was nice, except now I have a refurbished phone (which I did NOT want). I have had problems in the past with refurbished, just like I do now. I can hardly hear people and they can't hear me - but I don't want to go through all that again to get ANOTHER refurbished phone. Again, NOT HAPPY AT ALL. With both Verizon and asurion.

I filed my claim around 11 pm, and my replacement phone was delivered around 9:30 am the next morning. If I hadn't seen the tracking information, I would think that the replacement was sitting in a local warehouse, but it came from another state. I'm very impressed with the fast turnaround.

Was done quickly and easily. Granddaughter broke phone. It was replaced within twenty-four hours with no fuss. Forms were simple. We have always found Asurion to be fair and quick. At the beginning of the year I requested to get new tablets because the two my kids got went out. I called Asurion and requested for just a swap out for new tablets at the store. They told me that this was not possible. They would have to give me a refund. He explained that the refund will be mailed to me. Which I really preferred just a swap out. I kept the tablets just to make sure I would not need to return them. A couple of months went by and I had no refund. So I called and they advised me that the refund was sent off via email but because I waited so long to open the email they will have to send another link to me for the refund. She said I would get the refund the next day. So I threw the tablets away thinking that I was fine because she said I would be getting the refunds the next day and I went to Walmart and purchased two new tablets. The next day I get the link and it only shows one refund. So I call again to see what happen.
They then advised me that only one claim was made when I originally called and they would have to file another claim in order to get the second refund. At that time when I filed the second claim I had to get transferred to a manager because the rep kept telling me I had to go through the manufacturer's warranty. So while speaking with the manager he then says, "Well we can file the claim for you. It does not have to be through the manufacturer." So the claim was filed. Now on 10/16/2017 I saw an email that was sent on 10/13/2017 saying that the claim will be closed due to no activity. I called again and now they are saying that I will have to return the tablet in order for the refund to be processed.
Now I'm highly upset because I am out of the money that I spent and I did the right thing on my end. So because I was advised that I would be getting a refund for both through the link and threw the tablets away I am being told that I cannot get my refund. So now I am out of the money I spent but I went about doing both of the claims correctly. When speaking with the rep today she specifically said, "You were not supposed to throw them away until after you get the refund" and I told her I did. I told her when I spoke with the rep and she was sending me out a link to get the refunds saying everything was fine, I threw out the tablets and bought 2 more from Walmart but still nothing is going to be done.

It was great but identification is a bit much. They didn't have the color of my phone which was disappointing. Received my replacement phone within 24 hours. Making a claim was very difficult. I do not have a printer. Also there was no way to do online signature with the forms. Then they got lost phone mixed up with the temporary phone I connected that was an old phone that I had save for back up.

I called and talked to a very nice representative, who tried to help me find a relatively close place to repair the screen (I live out of city) and nothing close. I was very surprised by how easy it was and how fast to replace my phone. The only challenge was that I had to send the phone to my billing address, when I wanted it to go to my office address. Received 1st replacement phone quickly which was nice until I realized it didn't work very well at all. Customers couldn't hear me and battery wouldn't stay charged very long at all. They replaced it with a second phone in a timely manner. This phone is defective as well. Doesn't get hardly any service anywhere and takes a long time sometimes 5 to 10 seconds to swap screens. And I have had more dropped calls in the last week than I have in a year with my first phone. Very disappointed. It doesn't matter how fast they replace your phone if the new ones they send out don't work. Other words I'm a month into this and still don't have a phone that works properly. Nightmare because I use my phone for business.

I got a replacement iPhone 7 from Asurion and without ever having dropped it within the three days that I had it, the home button stopped working because of a crack on the button. I tried to tell you about it and file a claim but everyone I spoke to said that it wouldn't happen because the home button being cracked and broken, NOT WORKING, is an appearance issue or whatever they called it. Overall I'm completely dissatisfied for all of the crap that Asurion put me through, and for sending me a broken $150 (plus what I pay every month) iPhone 7.

Phone was refurbished and had a plastic frame instead of a metal frame. After having had the phone for maybe a month, I can say that it has been working much slower than my previous phone of the same kind. Shipping was very fast and the website interface was easy enough to get through but I have the same problem with shipping every time I went to put in my address it doesn't let me and I have to call which was really annoying. I had contacted my Verizon representative regarding my iPhone 7+ freezing and not working properly. He had made a claim with hour company that sent out a refurbished phone. The phone at first would not turn on the first 2 attempts of holding down the power button. It was placed on the charger, and after 10 minutes it came on but it looked to have 50% battery. After that it dragged to go through the set up screen so we sent that refurbished phone back. I am not happy with my insurance carrier.

The timing of the replaced device was fantastic. I was out of town and you got a phone to me the next business day. Now that I've had a refurbished device, there are problems with the light sensor on the front, which can happen if a refurbished phone gets a screen replaced. Because of this, I can't make complete phone calls, and my screen brightness is always incorrect. I've been very frustrated since I believe "refurbished" phones are supposed to work just as well as a non-damaged device.

I broke my iPhone 6+ and had Asurion. They replaced it with a refurbished phone which then had a faulty camera. Apple would not service it under the recall because it was refurbished and Verizon wouldn't assist. With a high deductible of $250 for a refurbished phone, it's not worth it! Of course, they don't tell you this when you buy the insurance policy. Go direct to Apple or another manufacturer for insurance.

What should have been a simple claim turned into a multi-week affair when Asurion refused to acknowledge that it is entirely possible that the account holder is not always in possession of every single device. The account holder, who has never even seen my device, was forced to fill out all forms, pretend he knew what happened to the phone, and spend his own money to mail the replacement to another state. Asurion really needs to evaluate how to serve families better.

Left my phone at a restaurant in Taormina, Italy. Was able to locate it under "Find My Phone". Contacted the restaurant and they said I could come and pick it up. Unfortunately I had already boarded my ship to Greece. Emailed them & ask for them to mail back to me in the US. After waiting more than 2 weeks for the return and not receiving it, I filed my claim for replacement. Rapidly received my replacement and approximately a week later I received my phone from Italy which I returned to Asurion. I was not reconnected in 24 hours as you claim. My phone was lost on Saturday and I did not get the replacement until Tuesday at noon. Your claim of next day shipping is bogus. Your website is terrible. I filled out the same form at least 10 times. Every time I clicked Submit, it would spin for a while and then bounce me right back to the beginning and I had to start all over.
Why do I have to download the affidavit and print it out to sign it? If an electronic signature is good enough for the US government why can't you use it? I had to go to Kinko's and use their printer and scanner to send it back. I'm convinced that your company purposely puts up roadblocks to filing a claim just so you can discourage users enough that they'll quit trying. It was a terrible experience overall. If I could give you less than 1 star, I would.

Had a broken Samsung Galaxy S7 and Asurion was very FAST at replacing it, within 1 day of filing a claim! New phone came with easy instructions and a return envelope to send the broken one back. It was so easy and much appreciated.

Received my replacement in 2 days as promised. Phone works great! Process was easy and fast. I still think the deductible is too high. When I signed up it was $49. It should have stayed there as long as I was a current customer. But it is what it is.

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I never had to replace a phone before so was worried that I would get hassled about it. No worries. My phone was replaced quickly and the directions were easy to follow. I felt like a valued customer. The person I dealt with was very courteous and professional. The new phone is working great. The replacement worked great but it came the wrong SIM card. I had to go to the local Verizon store to get the correct one. Causing me to pay $10.00 but I was able to get a bill credit for the amount. It was an unneeded hassle.

Had cracked face playing golf. Had new phone the next day. Cost $99, but new phone is guaranteed for 12 months no matter what happens to it. Couldn't be happier with the replacement phone. It was a better model than the one that was damaged.

My son lost his phone in a lake and his replacement phone was received 2 days later. It was a simple and hassle free process to file the claim. The new phone is working great and there was no issue restoring his contacts from the last backup.

Best service ever. I have had Asurion for about 4 years now. I've had 3 phones replaced. 2 Samsung Galaxy 7 for a 100 deductible and 1 Samsung Galaxy 8 for 200. I honestly don't know what I would do without it. Quick phone replacement and hassle-free!!!

Everything was very fast and correctly. My experience was a good one. The convenience of the return by doing it online was so easy to follow which was refreshing. This review and having to do a minimum number of words was harder than the phone return. Would suggest changing this part.

Quick and easy turnaround. Much better than in store experiences with Verizon Wireless. Liked the overnight shipping and having my phone within 24 hours after claim filed. Liked the easy online service. Instructions once I received the phone was easy to follow as well.

The claims process was a convoluted mess. I've filed car insurance claims that were less of a headache. My replacement device is also failing. Terrible battery life, and the fingerprint sensor is failing, which something to replace this failing device will be filed when I have the time. This has been a terrible experience all around.

Was a little overpriced as far as getting a refurbished phone but overall I am happy to have my functioning phone back. I would definitely use this service again. It was easy to use and understand and they kept you very updated during the whole process.

Customer service was excellent. Helpful, professional and efficient. The replacement product was not holding a charge and needed to be replaced with another phone. Made the process of getting a new phone a little longer and more complex. But in the end, happy with the replacement service.

It arrived a day late, but overall the experience was easy and pleasant. This was our extra phone we had purchased for our granddaughter, it was either lost or stolen while she was in CO. We find the deductible slightly expensive, but better than having to purchase a phone outright. Thank you.

The replacement phone buttons don't work. It makes it difficult to enter the passcode or write text. The process to get a replacement was seamless and quick. Yeah to Asurion. It is the device that has challenges. I wish I could replace it.

Did not have my phone. Send a lesser phone. Battery life was not acceptable. Still had to pay out of pocket for a duplicate phone. Will not EVER buy insurance again and have already had two of my family agree with me. This service sucks!!!

Great experience! Had another phone delivered the day after mine got lost. Sadly I never recovered the lost one. But was able to download all my info to the new one. Would recommend Asurion to everyone. Great service, friendly and helpful on phone.

24 hour turnaround in receiving a replacement iPhone 6. Support was very polite in activation process. New phone was restored from back-up and activated in less than 3 hours from receipt. This is an essential service if you have teenagers with smartphones.

I was at a social gathering and when I went to leave my notepad was nowhere to be found. I contacted Asurion and filed a claim. That was on a Saturday. The following Monday my replacement notepad was delivered. I'm very happy with their service.

I was very happy with how easy it was to file a claim and how quick the replacement came. I don't like how much the deductible is seeing how we pay so much each month and hardly have to use the service. But it's better than paying full price for a phone. Returning the phone got a little complicated because our service provider said we don't need to send it back because we went into a store and he saw it was broken. Fortunately Asurion gave us a courtesy call about returning the device and is sending us a replacement label to send it back.

Phone was replaced with a refurbished one. It was not worth the money 11.00 a month and 150.00 for replacement. It was a Samsung 4 on top of this. Just something to think about. They did replace it within 3 days so that was a plus.

Prompt delivery and easy process. The replacement phone is slow in function compared to original phone. Not sure it was worth the $150 deductible fee. In general pleased with the process, but quality of replacement is not great. Has me questioning whether paying for insurance is worth it overall.

I was able to do almost everything online until it came to putting in my physical address. It stated that it didn't recognize my address as being valid and I needed to call customer service??? When I called the recorded message stated it would be a longer than usual wait due to the hurricane. I stuck out the wait and it was worth it as my phone was to me in one day. I understood the long wait, while waiting I felt so fortunate I was dealing with a lost phone. My prayers went out to all the people who were dealing with life altering situations and tragedy..

I file my case that I lost my phone that I use for my business at all times. Lost it at night. Called the next day. The person that answered was very helpful. Just paid my fee that’s required from my deductible and it was replaced the next day with no problem. Just had to call and they took care of it.
