Had a telephone go bad and after a trip to Verizon it was confirmed that a replacement would be needed through our insurance plan. I made contact expecting to be hassled but instead and to my surprise it was a very simple process to have it replaced, had new phone, operational in 24 hours! OUTSTANDING!!!

My phone was damaged. Filed a claim and had a phone within a few days. Was replaced with same phone that I previously had. The whole process was very easy to do and all the employees I dealt with were very nice.

Bought a PS4 from Walmart on 3/10/15 and paid for Asurion care plan. Absolutely the worst mistake I ever made. PS4 unit has been returned to Asurion for repairs over 3-4 times. Asurion keeps sending unit back to me saying that the problem has been solved, when clearly signs of overheating and not playing discs are always present when I receive it back.
Supervisor by the name of Adam stated that no matter how many times unit gets sent in they will not replace it because their techs are not locating problem. I have video proof and pictures of what exactly the unit has been doing for the last 2 yrs I've had it. It has been cleaned and inspected by Asurion but that's about it or so they say. All I know is that the unit is not fixed, the problem is not solved, was hassled by both associate and supervisor not listening and not giving a care in the world for the problem that is at hand only arguing with me! I have already made it a point to use any means I can to inform all people not to buy Asurion's care plan! ASURION DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS!!! Until the damn thing catches fire and destroys property will they probably give a damn... Probably not.

My FIRST replacement arrived fast. Unfortunately it was a used device that was literally falling apart. When I called to address the issue, the representative wanted me to do a bunch of troubleshooting that had absolutely nothing to do with the phone physically falling apart! She had me so upset I found myself swearing at her trying to get her to understand the issue. Finally I gave up and hung up.
When I called back I was thankfully connected to a different person. That gentleman quickly understood the problem and started taking corrective action immediately. He apologized and set up, not only a new phone, but the latest model for my replacement! Within a matter of mere minutes, he turned an upset customer who was swearing at the last representative to a happy, satisfied customer. I was about to never use Asurion again because of the first replacement I was sent, and then the obvious unqualified representative who handled my call, but the second representative did everything right in my opinion. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how the mistakes are handled that count to me. Luckily Asurion had that second gentleman working that day, he saved them a customer!

So I broke my phone, got a replacement, and the replacement battery was absolutely horrible. Called them and they quickly replaced my phone with a brand new one, free of charge! Been great ever since! They were prompt and efficient and everything is always smooth when I have problems! Totally worth the cost of only $10 extra dollars on my bill a month!

The service was excellent. The time it took to receive the phone was fabulous. It was here in 2 days. The Samsung galaxy s7 phone is in a condition except the battery doesn't stay charged very long. Would like the battery to last a lot longer.

Sent replacement for iPhone 6 Plus and sent me back a refurbished model that also had issues. After calling and letting them know what happened they offered to send a brand new iPhone 7 Plus in its place. Very good customer service. They made it right.

Very hard to transfer phone service. I couldn't transfer phone numbers on either phone. My wife's phone, the flash and camera doesn't work. My son Moto Z works fine. Not sure what to do with my wife's phone. It has already been 30 days. Not sure it worth going through hassle of getting it replaced again.

Product came very quickly and was easy to set up. Process to complete claim was cumbersome and would like to see that be easier with today’s technology. Fair value for claim, and it is worth having insurance if you are prone to accidents or have children.

They are very prompt and I found them professional to deal with. The only challenge I had was with the issue of "turning find my iPhone off," because the phone was inoperable, and we had troubles online trying to do it. We did figure it out in the end, though. They did phone me a couple of times (on two different phone issues) and they were very professional.

My daughter's phone was stolen at school and I was easily able to file a claim online. I received a replacement phone via Federal Express within 48 hours. It was a relatively painless experience that I am thankful for. I would recommend them to a friend.

So, it cost me $150.00 to replace a phone that I could have bought on Amazon for $144.00. A refurbished Motorola 32GB Droid. Not even a new one, but a refurbished phone with some crappy aftermarket power cable. I will be cancelling the insurance and wouldn't recommend anyone buy it unless they have maybe a gold plated phone or some brand new model of phone.

My son's phone stopped working, the replacement phone wasn't working so we sent it back twice. Asurion was supposed to send us another type of phone but it was on back order. Phone stopped working all together so my husband cancelled the insurance and bought a new phone and signed a new contract with Verizon.

I had a Good experience overall. Very Easy. My Replacement phone came in very quickly (overnight). Unfortunately the cost! I Wish it was a bit more affordable to replace a stolen phone, not like I purposely lost it because I wanted to spend more to replace it than what I spend a month to pay for it. Also wish the option to upgrade was there.

Phone sucks. Screen goes black unexpectedly. Phone gets hot. Probably will have to replace again soon. $150 for the same stupid phone as last time. Customer service was fine. Got the replacement fast enough.

Placed a claim on my phone... The phone I use was on back order. Waited 10 days to get another phone that ended up not working and waiting another 10 days for another replacement. Let’s just say not happy.. Had the first phone worked I would be ok. But the phone would just shut off out of nowhere and could only be turned on if plugged into a charger. Power button didn’t work..

Asurion has always been quick to respond to the previous claims I have filed. If you have a teenager in your family that has a cell phone you need Asurion! Big KUDOS to Asurion! It is definitely worth the small fee each month to have insurance on teenagers phone.

The customer service was excellent. The device I received is nice. There are two downsides, battery life is not as long as advertised and my previous phone chargers don't fit. The device is otherwise a great replacement. Strongest asset is an awesome camera.

I had a severely cracked screen that I was able to schedule an appointment for a tech to come to my home online. Once the screen was replaced we found that some areas of the screen did not work. I called and spoke to a representative who had a new phone sent to me. Everything was quick and easy!

The replacement phone you mail me has quit working and when I called you the recorder told me to take the battery out. But you can't because it's a I-phone 5s and the battery doesn't come out. This company was very easy to work with. My phone actually fell off my car onto a gravel pavement. The screen to my new note 8 cracked. I was very sad. The company gave me two options on how to replace it. I paid upfront the phone provider then was reimbursed promptly. I purchased the same screen protector on my new screen. They guarantee the product or they will replace it.

Could not get through a manager at all when I had questions about shipping. Was on hold for an hour and got hung up on. The rep was very rude and demeaning she acted as if I was not supposed to call in and ask about shipping. This was a terrible experience.

I had to fill paperwork out multiple times and I had to submit multiple claims for one issue. This was frustrating and a huge waste of time. One positive was that the turn around times were very quick once things were submitted and accepted. The phone was shipped and I received it within a day or two.

I am very happy with my overall experience with Asurion. I got a replacement device after my phone was stolen overseas. Contacted the insurance company a few times via Twitter. Not sure if they have the right information. I used the insurance for Sprint account, I received an email from Sprint stating the start date of my coverage. Got a letter back from Asurion with a denial letter stating wrong information! It was very simple to use the claim service. I received my replacement within 2 days of filing my claim (because I filed it on the weekend). I was happy with how fast it was to use but I was extremely unhappy and thought it was ridiculous that I am paying $9 a month for the coverage and still had to pay $150 for a deductible.

I called 4 times to try to give credit card, debit card and checking account info to pay for a replacement phone. Your system would not take any of the three! Not a problem with my CU.Had to pay extra $15. Reps were polite but, clearly, did not know what they were doing!

It was an easy process to get our phone returned in a timely manner. They send you the new phone, send you instructions, send a return envelope and instructions on what you need to do to get it returned to them in the prepaid envelope and you can track it too.

I paid for a brand new phone and good money I might add but I got a refurbished phone instead of a new one. Thought that's what I paid insurance for replacement of a new phone. VERY disappointed. Since I purchased a new phone I feel it only right to receive a new phone. Feel like I got cheated. Someone should have to reimburse me for the difference.

A phone on my account stopped working. The motherboard had "crashed" according to Verizon customer support. I then contacted Asurion (my first mistake) and paid $150 for a new phone. When we received the new phone, not only was it broken, it still had contacts in it and PICTURES still in it (if you know what I mean by my capitalization). I called Asurion (3 times total) and was told I needed to troubleshoot the phone.
The phone is physically broken. Troubleshooting it is not going to fix it. It was as if they didn't believe me that there were contents in the phone when they shipped it and we received it, or that it was broken. I called 2 other times to try and get the issue resolved, and to no avail, I was given the run around and kept getting "We need to troubleshoot the device" and when I work 70 hours a week and have a family to maintain, I cannot and will not be given the run around over $150 junk phone that they sent me.
This is their problem. It will get resolved, or I will be filing a small claims in small claims court, and we will either receive a phone that actually works, or we will get our $150 back so we can get him another phone that actually works. I also asked for my call to be escalated, and was told "They will tell you the same thing" so I hung up, again, because I do not have time to be bounced around. DO NOT USE ASURION. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

I replaced my Verizon Droid because of a cracked screen. The phone still worked fine, just slightly. The replacement Moto Z play phone came right away. So far so good. I'm just not sure why the $99 deductible. Seems high considering I pay $9 a month for insurance.

I was very impressed by the service provided by Asurion. I stopped into Verizon at 7:00 pm one evening and they gave me the number I had to call to have my damaged phone replaced. I called Asurion at 8:00 pm and had my new phone by the very next day. Sure am glad I carried the insurance.

I have a bad experience with Asurion recently. It's unusual that Asurion sent in two defective devices which Sprint reps can't activate. For another replacement device, I was required to do the documentation online. I tried but I can't so, I requested for a hard copy. At least 4 representatives lied including the manager that they mailed out the form. They never mailed it out. I got the form from one of the Sprint store. It took a month and a half before I have a replacement cellphone. I'm sorry but, Asurion representatives are not committed and dedicated in helping customer. I grade them "0".

Received the phone in a timely manner. This is a refurbished phone, which is fine. There is one issue that I have with the phone: The speaker will *crackle* depending on the pitch and volume of the sound being produced - typically when volume is near or at maximum. It happens most often using Google Maps for navigation and the voice speaks "turn here". However, it does NOT occur during calls, at least not that I've noticed...

Everything was quick and easy. Wish the price was less. 150 for the amount we pay a month is a lot. Maybe 74 would be better. The speed though was out of this world. My daughter had her new phone the next day!! Wrong color. She had rose gold and got gold but she didn’t care. She just cared her phone was fixed!!

Been phoneless for about 2 months. Both phones didn't work, this one still doesn't. Horrible service being bumped round non stop. Also s7 is supposed to be waterproof. It's not even humidity resistant to into a humid room and the charging port detects moisture and bam!

Good turnaround time. Unfortunately, that’s the only good thing I have to say. The device I received is operating horrendously. Almost makes me wonder what’s inside and if the internals are authentic Apple components. The list of issues is too long but I assure you, I will never buy the insurance again now that I know the replacement device is either refurbished or not authentic.

Shipping time was great. Microphone inside the new device is screwed up a little bit. Whenever I'm on the phone with someone my voice to them is muffled. Creating the claim was a little difficult. Shipping the old device was easy and so was activating the new one.

At approximately 10:00 in the evening my grandson’s iPhone flew out of his pocket while riding a roller coaster. There was nothing retrievable of the phone. Ultimately the experience was happily ended. It began rough going in circles with internet help but once I telephoned and talked through some of the problems with the extremely patient phone customer service person the experience much improved. After my wife damaged her phone, we called Asurion and received a replacement phone the next day. However the replacement phone could not be used unless it was on speaker. We contacted Asurion again, and they sent out another replacement. UPS routed the phone incorrectly, and it took longer than expected, but we finally received it and it seems to work fine.

The sim card sent with the phone did not work. We used the card we already had. Also, the replacement phone is slow and glitches. It also does not turn on sometimes. The only positive feedback I have is how quickly we received the phone.

I lost my phone. Tried to find it for about two weeks. No luck. I contact Asurion and with no hassle Asurion sent me new phone the next day straight to my house. Everything was automatic and easy. But even more bad luck I lost the phone they gave me about a week after I received it. Tried so hard to find it again. No luck. I contact Asurion once more and this time they didn't have my exact same phone so they sent me a better one no extra cost or hassle. I recently damaged my Samsung S8+ phone, which was covered by Asurion. The online replacement application was very easy to fill out, and my replacement was in my possession very quickly. I was also given return and packaging for my damaged phone, and informed when it was received. Although the replacement was "refurbished", it is in perfect condition, and, aside from the packaging, indistinguishable from a new unit. Activation of the new unit was easy, and all instructions were clear. I was very pleased with the entire transaction.

The whole process was simple for us. Submitted the claim and new phone arrived very quickly. However, the replacement phone did not work the way it was supposed to. When we called the first time, the person that helped us told us to try a factory reset and if that didn’t work to call back and they would send out a new one. Factory reset didn’t work so we called back and they tried various things to try and fix the issue but in the end they ended up sending us a new phone, which again arrived very quickly. I have always had good luck with Asurion and damaged phones.

My phone arrived in a timely manner. The only problem with my phone is that with it being refurbished the left bottom screen doesn’t detect my fingers. I can’t type certain letters and it takes a while to switch from regular keyboards to number.

After I received my new phone, I followed the information about what to do in order to get my old phone off of the account. I kept on getting emails saying that I did not take the old phone off the account & was going to be charged $500. Being very frustrated because I was not able to talk to anyone at Asurion, (after many long waits), I finally called Verizon. They helped me by having me go to my settings which was a much easier way of getting the phone off of my account. After I saw that I only had the one new phone on my account, I still kept on getting emails about being charged $500 if I did not disconnect the old phone.
I called Asurion again & after a very long wait, someone finally picked up. I explained the problem I was having with the company. The guy said he had not received an update showing that I did what I suppose to do. Once it was updated, the emails stopped. So, it was a very bad experience & I'm not sure I will continue with the insurance.

I pay a lot of money for insurance and I think it's absurd that I have to also pay a lot of money for the deductible. You're not providing a new phone; you're providing one that's been used and repaired "as new". The device I received is okay; it has its quirks--the screen jumps when I barely touch the button, the touch screen doesn't respond at times, the volume control just pops up on the screen and I'm not even touching the phone. These are just a few things so far that I've experienced; I don't look forward to experiencing what other problems are sure to come my way. Not a happy consumer by any means.

Our daughter was visiting home and needed an upgrade on her phone on our account. We got her upgrade on Monday, then on Wednesday she went fishing with her dad in our boat on the lake we live by. They BOTH were unaware that her phone was on the side when they took off, it must have slipped into the water because it was nowhere to be found in the boat when they reached the dock. We were connected to Asurion via our Verizon store that day and another phone came the next day after paying our deductible paid. We are very happy with the service we received in this “odd” situation.

I returned the phone and it has been received by you yet I haven’t been credited with the refund as promised. I called today, spoke with Mauve who informed me that I am not entitled to a refund of deductible. I would have kept the brand new phone if I knew I wasn’t getting the refund. Sounds like a very poor policy. Would like to speak with someone from the company about this. I was told by Lisa that I would be credited my deductible if I returned the original phone that was stolen. Not happy at all with this policy.

I filed a claim with Asurion when I first lost my phone but couldn’t afford it at the time, so I didn’t finish it. You have a grace period to file the claim from the time the phone was lost or stolen. I wasn’t aware, as I never had to do this before. They were nice enough to hear me out and were reasonable enough to still give me a phone, despite the fact that I was out of the grace period. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My phone screen was damaged, so I contacted Asurion to have the screen repaired. Initially a appointment was set up for someone to come to my home and repair the phone, however the repair person did not show up as scheduled. I contacted Asurion and express my dissatisfaction with the failed appointment, they then offered to replace the phone instead of repair it due to the inconvenience with no extra charges. My phone was incredibly difficult to set up. I have used a lot of smart phones and several iPhones. I understand the process, but this one was particularly difficult. After I got it "working," it would continuously disconnect from service and give SIM card warnings (SIM card error, no SIM card found, etc.). Finally, I took the phone in to Verizon and had them take a look at it. It required a new card to function properly, and they set it up for me from there. While I appreciated the quick response and the ease of actually receiving the phone quickly, that was eclipsed by the fact that it took me a few days to actually get it working properly.

Customer service was great helping me replace my phone. I think paying for insurance every month should be your coverage on top of whatever issue your phone has. You shouldn’t have to pay another $200 deductible when you have been paying your insurance monthly. Every month adds up more than $200 so it’s not fair to pay a month fee and when your phone has an issue and you have to pay more? Very unhappy about paying extra when I pay for insurance monthly for years!

Have new phone. Not same as broken one. Broken was Moto Z Force, with longer battery life and unbreakable screen. Replacement is Moto Z Droid poor battery life. Brought a battery mod to get through the day. Can't buy a protective case for phone with use of battery mod. Have slip in a slide in holster. If it slips it if my hand it might be easily broken.

I cracked my screen on my new phone only weeks after buying it. I was not happy with Motorola for making their Moto Z2 Play so easy to crack but luckily I had opted for insurance with Asurion. Asurion was very easy to deal with from the moment I contacted them online to the moment I received the new phone. Everything went smoothly. The only thing I didn't care for was the deductible. In my case it was $100 and that is about what a screen replacement would cost if I took it into a shop, however the phone was just released into the market and screens were not yet available anywhere I called. In this case it was worth it.

My iPhone got damaged and I called Asurion to file a claim. It's just an easy and short process. The Representative is kind and polite and said will place an order to send out a new phone to me. It was to my surprise that I receive the new phone on the following day. In the mean time a co-worker that had the same phone as me happened to drop his... he called and got his sent out to him. At this point I was upset so I called and demanded to talk to someone above them to get any kind of replacement. I was so frustrated that I was willing to get anything. So after my MOTO X Force was broken and you all couldn't replace it... I was given a LG V20 instead. I am extremely upset and disappointed over what I am paying.

Dealing with you was beyond frustrating! You denied my claim, yet when the Verizon Rep got on the phone & explained same thing I did, the claim was processed. Had I not been at a Verizon store my claim would have been denied. I found it to be quite a hassle to replace my damaged phone. It would be much easier if the forms could be filled out directly online because some people do not have printers. I have had the replacement phone for only a month and it is not holding a charge and recently certain functions are not working correctly. I am not satisfied with this since I did have to pay something for this phone on top of my monthly insurance cost.

Replacement went well but Asurion wrote back and said the Find Me feature was not turned off. I contacted Verizon and Apple and their investigation showed the Find Me feature was not on and my iCloud account showed the phone was not Find Me enabled. The Apple service person asked how Asurion was able to check this feature since Apple doesn't share that info. Here is hoping that you don't try to charge me that $500 fee.
Updated on 10/24/2017: I got email saying my returned iPhone did not have "Find my iPhone" turned off. WRONG. I verified through Verizon and Apple that the only iPhone I have with Find iPhone activated is my personal phone - not the one involved in this repair/replace claim. I followed the Asurion procedure to the letter - found the broken phone and the replacement phone so I removed the broken phone from the list of phones I am in charge of. I sent an email back to you and informed you that I had done all that could be done and to stop emailing and calling my phones. Yet you continue calling and emailing so at this point all I can say is cease & desist and if you charge me (my account) I will have my lawyer start litigation against you.

Had to replace my husband's phone because his ended up in the ship channel at about 70-80 ft. Placed my claim and no problem great phone. They replaced it no problem but when they wanted me to return the one that was damaged I laugh. I was not going swimming for it. They understood.

Your service was quick and professional however the phone I received does not hold a charge as long as the phone you replaced. My battery power can plummet in hours whereas before it would last all day. Is this something that can be addressed with a new phone?

This is a really awesome plan. I dropped my new phone (2 months old) and it broke my heart that I would have to deal with trying to get a replacement. I submitted a claim and I had a replacement phone within 2 days and was able to return the broken phone very easily. I would not be without this plan on any of our family phones or devices.

I got a replacement phone that was defective in a way where the screen wouldn't work at times. It sounded worse talking to people which never happened with my old phone. It's real buggy, it freezes, the touch screen works when it wants.

Had a replacement phone within 24 hours. Though it was expensive to replace the phone, Asurion made the whole process very painless and efficient. My phone had a damaged screen rendering it inoperable. The new phone came right on time as expected.

The only thing is the battery life on the new phone is going really fast. Other than that customer service was excellent and courteous. So all in all very good experience. I don't agree with the cost of phone replacement if it's a malfunction on the phone itself.

Husband dropped phone in the river. Got replacement phone. It didn't work. Got another replacement phone, it didn't work. 3rd replacement phone was a total upgrade to Galaxy 8. So far so good. Yes we went through some hassles but never was hassled by any customer service rep throughout the whole ordeal. Now time will tell if this new phone will continue to operate properly.

I enjoyed how easy Asurion made the process with clear directions. The first phone I received got so hot after charging it was unbearable. The second one that I have now also doesn't hold a battery and dies pretty quickly. Nothing loads either.

Got information from 2 different reps that you would not need to pay the deductible. After paying $49 for my screen replacement, my screen got replaced. I paid the deductible and the screen then burned out within 1 hour. I was told I would not need to pay the remaining of the deductible since I will use warranty. After many transfers I was made to pay the deductible. Worst experience trying to get my phone.

Replacement phone does not work and it took so much time to get this phone. From having to wait on hold for over 15 minutes to then fill out the application and find out you need some sort of ISEN number that you cant supply and then have to go back and call Verizon again....very frustrating.

It was quick and easy. Expensive, really expensive, but it was a painless process. I don't understand why it has to cost $200 to replace a phone, but I guess because we're beholden to them. Asurion was responsive to my request for a new phone and I had a replacement within 48 hours. That was much quicker than I expected. They made the process of returning the broken phone easy as well.

This was the best experience I've had when replacing an IPhone. I was able to have it shipped right to my work and it arrived the next day! The return process was just as quick and easy. I will definitely be using Asurion if I need to replace another phone in the future.
