Fast service, and a great new phone. I had a Samsung Note 5 and now have a Note 8. I have no issues to complain about. I'd would use this company again. The phone is refurbished, but it is just like a brand new phone. I had the new phone the next day after I submitted the claim.

Phone went missing at 330 PM. I thought stolen. Called AT&T pronto to turn it off. By 630 was in AT&T store. By 8 pm you had a phone on its way to me. At 1130 the following a.m. the replacement was delivered just as my phone was found. So replacement is on its way back to you. But speed of new phone arriving was impressive.

I had to call in to find out my claim was approved. It would have been better to have been notified by you. Otherwise I found the procedure to file the claim to be clear and easy. Also, your phone people were very polite and thorough.

I made a mistake on my form and received a very timely phone call and a friendly customer service rep helped me correct it. My new phone was delivered very quickly. I did have a little difficulty with setting up the phone and had to try multiple times to call for help. When I did reach someone they were helpful.

Super fast shipping! Literally got my replacement phone 24 hours after I initiated the claim! Filing a claim was super easy and fast. Only answer a few questions to complete the claim. Provided a box to return old phone, no hassle!

The representative was very professional and caring and she went out her way to make sure everything was done in timely manner and made sure I understand stood the process from beginning to the end. The representative explained why the first order did not go thru and she apologized for that she could not be helpful enough. She wanted to know what else she could do for me. She explained my deductible and why I was getting a different type of equipment opposed to what I had. And in doing that she was apologetic and asked if I was ok with that. She was so friendly and caring.

Everyone was friendly, the wait time was very minimal. I got my replacement phone in a day and a half. Overall experience was great. I still need to go to the store for them to transfer all of my apps and info.

A fast and easy process. As this is the first lost claim that I have ever made, was surprised how fast my new phone was received. Easy to file a claim online with the required information. Also like the one year warranty with the replacement phone. Was able to track the shipment of the new phone which was a good feature.

Broke phone, immediately filed claim. Received device next day. Asurion updated device due to device not being in stock which was great. Only thing I didn’t like, which is just a personal thing of mine, is I don’t have a say so in shippers. I hate FedEx.

I filed a claim on December 13th, and I still have not received my phone! I sent my phone to the company the next day, after receiving my package, and haven't heard a thing from them since. Asurion promotes having "24 hour phone return" but this is NOT true. According to the website, if I filed my claim on Monday-Thursday (which I did), I should already have my phone back. I have been without a phone for far too long, and I travel a lot. I hate not being able to contact anyone while traveling, because if something happens to me, no one will ever know. I filed my claim over the phone and they did not even give me a claim number, so I cannot even track my claim online. It's almost been a full week!!! Very unhappy with the service.

First time making a claim. I didn't expect the whole claim went so streamline and smooth. After filing online, I got the phone very next day. My wife was very upset about her phone got stolen while she was traveling from Asia back to the US. It was a pleasant experience ASURION. 2 Thumbs up!!

My wonderful Microsoft Lumia 950 battery started to fail. I call Asurion and within two days, I had a new phone. It clearly not of the same quality as the Microsoft phone but it is what is available at this time. I received good support to get the new phone running. It will never equal the Lumia 950 but it will have to do far now. As of this time, I can receive call but I am still unable to answer them. As of this time, I am still unable to write text messages. As of this time I still do not have any of the Microsoft Office features on the phone. Hopefully, if I can find some help this will be rectified. So my experience was five stars. The phone so far is far less than five stars. I doubt anyone will read this or even care but I have given you my answer. It's too bad that the replacement phone is not the equivalent of the Microsoft Lumia 950.

Service took 48 hours because of a snowstorm through the midwest and Ohio Valley. Was able to track and know exactly when my replacement would arrive. My only complaint is the ability to be able to talk to a live body when calling to make the initial claim. It is extremely frustrating trying to talk to a computer voice. Maybe give an opt out option for this part of the process. Nobody likes talking to a computer generated know it all that give very little help.

I accidentally threw away the wrong box... Had the SIM card, accessories, instruction book in there along with the prepaid package to return the damaged device. Supposedly they're sending all the stuff again. They were responsive and assuring. So, we'll see...

I have had the worst time with Asurion, I will make sure to tell everyone I know as well as people I don't know that this insurance is the biggest scam ever. It is not the phone carriers' fault such as Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, etc. It is solely Asurion and their horrible customer service. I filed a claim for a phone that was broken, I paid my $300 deductible and was sent a replacement phone pretty quick, that process was extremely easy. I was sent an envelope, with a mailing label and instructions to mail my old broken phone back. As per Asurion's instructions, I put my old broken phone in the prepaid envelope, sealed it and dropped it in the mail, but not before writing the serial number, MEID number, ICCID number, IMEI number, and model number of the phone and also snapping a picture of the envelope with the barcode and USPS number for my records. I thought I was done and was thinking "Wow that was easy."
Well that is where I was wrong, this is where the headache started. I mailed my phone on Oct 22, I had a bill cycle go by and everything was fine, here it is Dec 17TH and I now have a $647 non returned item on my bill. I have tracked the phone and the USPS says Asurion has the phone. Every time I call them and talk to a person and tell them the whole story they tell me they can't help me for security reasons, and that I need to go online to phoneclaim.com. I go to phoneclaim.com and it tells me they can't tell me anything due to security and that I need to call the 1-800 number.
It's a joke, if I was planning on keeping the broken phone, I would have told them the phone was lost or stolen instead of broken, then I wouldn't have had to send a phone back therefore I wouldn't be charged $647. But because I was honest, did exactly what I was supposed to do and mailed it back, I am now being punished and charged an insane $647. Asurion's customer service is complete crap. They do not care to help and only tell you things you want to hear just to get you off the phone. My issue still has not been resolved, but I know one thing, they are not getting a penny of that $647 they are charging me. ASURION INSURANCE IS A SCAM! DO NOT USE THEM! YOU WILL HATE IT!

The reps that I talk to never question me about the problems I'm having with the phone. They just start a new claim. This is my 3rd Note 9 that I have gotten through Asurion in the last 3-4 month and they still don't question me. The shipping is always so fast. Most of the time I get the new phone the following day. Then they give you plenty of time to move everything from old phone to the new phone. I am very satisfied with Asurion! If they were a phone company like AT&T or Verizon I would switch networks so fast!

Great service! Less than 24 hours between claim and receiving replacement iPhone. Return packaging includes label and even a piece of tape to reseal the box. Just drop it in your mailbox or any other US postal mail box and you are finished.

I ran my iPhone 5S through the clothes washer and it didn’t survive. So glad I had insurance! Got an iPhone 6S (upgrade) on the second day and it works great. Splendid service! I highly recommend this service to everyone who has a mobile phone. Accidents happen. This is the second phone I have had to replace because of accidental damage. I am definitely ahead financially as opposed to having to buy new phones.

Had to get my screen repaired. They came and replaced my screen, but the fingerprint to open the phone was not working, and you could hear the insides move when the phone shook, so Asurion sent a replacement phone no extra charge, phone works great.

I had to replace a phone because of water damage. The first phone sent out was a dud and I had to request a second replacement. At first no one wanted to send out a second replacement but eventually we were able to work it out.

What started as a cracked phone screen and MANY attempts to complete my claim online turned into me traveling in Europe, and my phone completely STOPPING working. I could/cannot contact anyone and they want info that is stored within my phone. VERY VERY VERY frustrating that you cannot call and talk to someone on the other side of things there. I do not and will not recommend.

My iPhone X fell down when I was getting off the bus and the screen is broken. It is not working anymore. Filled my applications and stuff but no reply. It's been 33 hours. It is very frustrating when I can't talk to anyone not even my parents. Moreover, the University uses digital pass so I am screwed. I have to pay every time I get onto the bus.

My replacement phone was received the next day and everything worked out great! The representative was excellent with helping me, walked me through the situation and let me know what phone I would be getting and how much I would have to pay.

Contacted Asurion and was told when I pay my deductible I will receive my other device in 24 hr. Keep in mind my phone is for business. I own a moving company. I was repeatedly told of a 24 hr service by the company if I paid the deductible of 275.00. Mind you I could have bought out my other line and upgraded and transferred lines. But since they swore by a 24 hr delivery service. All of my clients' numbers saved and unsaved. I was to have a move from North Carolina to Myrtle Beach this week. So it was a must to have. After being told I would receive in 24 hrs on a Wednesday. After I paid was lied to that it was on an overnight ship.
In fact went through ground shipping and takes 2-5 business days. And they told me it was UPS. In fact called UPS and found they used ground cheapest service instead. Thus leaving me a week behind for work. When calling the customer service about their lying and getting confirmation from UPS that they lied to my face 3 times. Then they said, "Oh we're sorry. We will send a 30$ gift card." My phone and customer reputation is bigger than 30.00. So I went to receiving 1 day later to receiving 5 days later and lost big wages. I would really consider this company's product if they're not able to correctly solve an issue for a customer who pays so much for the service and know they will flat out lie.

Cut off times can vary from carrier to carrier. We purchased 8 RCA Galileo tablets for Christmas gifts in November of 2017 and purchased Asurion insurance for each. Three of these tablets have problems covered by the warranties and we arranged to send those back today. Imagine our surprise when we found out that they are replacing each 11.5" tablet with good reviews for a 10" tablet with undesirable reviews. According to Asurion the tablet size and quality does not matter as long as they swap out for one with comparable operating systems. I'm sure this is buried somewhere in the fine print of the warranty, but we are very disappointed with the outcome. Guess we were naive to think that we would get the same quality replacement as our original purchase.

My watch seemed to have difficulty loading and getting set up. I felt kind of helpless and kind of dumb because I wasn't able to get my watch to sync and respond as I wanted to, but the rep that helped me was very patient and helpful in talking me through the whole process.

I purchased a cell phone for my daughter for a gift so when it was shipped to me I never open it as I wanted to give it as a gift. The phone got stolen from my car and even though I purchased insurance on the phone when I filed my claim with Asurion I was told they will not honor it 'cause I never received or made a phone call on the phone. I told them it was a gift for Christmas and it was not going to be given to them until then so I was not going to be used but they still so they will not honor the insurance and now I stuck having to pay for a $1000 phone that I had insurance on.

Let me start by saying that I would rather switch phone providers than ever work with this insurance company again. Most of the phone interactions I had were bad, the people were rude and accusatory and quite frankly the opposite of helpful. When I first cracked my screen I had to drive to a location an hour away from where I lived because there were not any certified shops near me, then when they repaired my phone the screen completely stopped working. When I tried to take it back to the place that broke it they said they couldn't do anything because my warranty is through Asurion.
So I went about 3 days without a functional phone because the website is awful and the call center is ridiculous. After spending about 4 hours on and off the phone running stupid diagnostic tests on my phone they finally concluded it was broken (go figure) and then FINALLY shipped me a new one. All in all a terrible experience and because my phone is a part of a large company phone plan and I had such a bad experience, we will be removing all of our phones off of this insurance because it is more worthwhile to just pay the damn money to fix your phone on your own.

I'm about 3 weeks into the process of trying to get a new phone. When I started the claim, there was no replacement device similar to mine available. When I called in, I was told I would be getting the next version up. I went back online and it wasn't an option. I called back and the customer service was extremely rude and said they had no record of offering me the device. Then they shipped it to the wrong address, and I have to fix their issues. I had to make about 6 phone calls to Asurion and 3 calls to UPS over the last few weeks and I still don't have a new device. Their team isn't very friendly, I'm extremely sick of being on hold for hours trying to talk to someone. I'm going to cancel my policy as soon as I get a new phone.

Only issue we had was no instructions on how to turn phone back on. The insurance claim phone is in the bottom of a lake. Insurance did not send a new SIM card so we could not activate phone from home. Had to go to local AT&T office to activate phone. Other than that the call went smooth and quick.

This insurance sucks!!! They want you to pay them monthly payments and when you need coverage or anything they act dumb!!! I lost my phone and didn’t get no answer. 4 days later I called and they still no answer about my claim. I would never get insurance through them. I own an iPhone. Go with APPLE CARE. No deductible for crack screens and BETTER COVERAGE.

Filling out the online form was easy and painless. I did have to call because there was an issue with my original form. The rep answered the phone promptly and helped me correct the issue. I received my phone in a timely fashion and worked great. The only issue I had was that the battery life on the replaced phone is not that great. My previous replacement had a better battery life. Other than that, service was great.

Updated on 12/13/2018: On 12/11/2018, I wrote a negative Asurion review. Their response? "Typically, broken or damaged equipment is not covered." So, they cover equipment only in perfect working order? Huh?? This makes no sense whatsoever, but at least they *finally* contacted me and will repair my sewing machine. But it took a negative review and a complaint with the BBB for them to contact me (after my repeated contacts to them). I will update or remove (if possible) my negative review after I receive my repaired machine back. I gave this review 2 stars because I spoke with Michelle, who was professional and nice on the phone.
Original Review: When I purchased my sewing machine, I also purchased a 3-year extended warranty from Asurion which covered more than the manufacturer’s limited warranty. My machine is broken and unusable, it needs repairs, so I contacted Asurion a month ago to file a claim to have my machine repaired. After a week I heard nothing from them, so contacted them again. Still, I have not heard a peep from Asurion. It has been a month since I contacted them the first time. Because I have not heard from them at all, today I filed a complaint against them with the BBB. Don’t know if it’ll go anywhere, but it’s all I have for now.

The SE iPhone replacement works great! And to replace it was easy after I paid deductible. However the tablet Ellipsis replacement doesn’t charge up now and I just got it replaced by you all!!! So now I am about to jump through hoops for it be replaced. I hope I don’t have to pay any deductible on a malfunctioning device that was sent to me!

60 inch TVs are supposed to be fixed on premises. The repair 1 person arrived and said he needed to "take it back to the shop" for it to be repaired. So this VERY HEAVY TV had to be taken off the stand, carried to the truck, and off it went. The problem happened when the repair 1 person brought it back and it was dropped on the way into the house. DirecTV says it is NOT covered for physical damage (???) when THEY (repair person) dropped it. ON TOP of that, it still does not work and DTV says it is NOW not covered B/C it now has PHYSICAL damage (???). Talk about circular thinking. They offered to drop my coverage if I was dissatisfied with their "service", wasn't that nice of them? And I have spent over a thousand dollars over the many years I had this sorry "insurance (???)". It is worse than a PONZI scheme.

Received my replacement device surprisingly quick! It was very important to get it so quick. The device was the same as the one I have so I didn't have to learn a new device and I already had a protective case for it. I am very pleased with my experience.

I have used Asurion many times, and every time they are very professional and take care of my needs very quickly. The phone is always here super fast! It has never taken more than 2 days to get here. They are very friendly and helpful to resolve any issues.

Had my device repaired and replaced very fast. The company reps were very friendly and knowledgeable about what I wanted, they helped me out with all the questions and answered everything that I wanted to know, my replacement equipment was shipped and received very fast and with no issues.

This company is a joke. My phone broke on Friday. Took it to Sprint, they said I had to contact Asurion directly, to which they did for me in the store. 20 minutes later we were still on hold. I tried to do it online, but their website won’t let you do anything. I screenshot everything because I’m sending this to the Consumer Protection Bureau and the FTC. These people won’t answer calls, their chat service is always down and the rep I spoke with literally hung up on me when I asked her to hold the line while I transfer funds for my deductible. UNREAL! Still haven’t received my replacement phone, no response from the company, yet they have my money and are now costing me money everyday I don’t have a phone. COMPLETE SCAM!

Phone wasn’t working properly. Quick and easy to file a claim. Received a new phone in less than 48 hours and at a reduced deductible since phone was an older model. Instructions to set up new phone are easy as well.

My experience and the speediest delivery of a replacement phone was great. But what is the warranty on the replacement phone? We have been having an issue with the speaker. Sometimes it works and then it doesn’t. On video or turn by turn navigation the speaker can start load but then drops to a very low volume and then at times there is no volume at all. Even though the screen shows it at the loudest. Thank you.

My carrier is Metro PCS. Everything went fine, just some of the apps I had to download myself and I had to go back and find my message board that did not have on the backup. I don't know why but I got it, everything is wonderful with the phone. I will be sending the other one back tomorrow.

Customer service was very helpful and the shipping was extremely fast. Setting up the product just took way too long because I had to download the most recent update and then install it. That should have already been handled before I received the item.

Had an iPhone with a shattered back. Phone was replaced and all transactions were completed within 3 business days. Phone arrived within the specified time (twenty four hours) intact and ready to update and load. My internet contact was courteous, well informed, and pleasant.

Phone replacement arrived quickly. I had no trouble submitting my claim online. It was easy and convenient for me. Replacement is working great. I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything to return my old broken device was included in the box my replacement phone arrived in. Then I just dropped it off at the post office and I was done.

Form was easy to complete and delivered was as promised. The return of the old phone was not clear if it was by UPS or regular mail so it delayed the shipping of the old phone. But overall we are very satisfied with the insurance process and replacement.

It was a simple process to replace my lost phone. I appreciate the ease at which I was able to complete the process. I suggest the app called PDF EXPERT for people in the future which allows for the paperwork to be completed with a phone and email straight back to your company.

IT was very nice to get a working phone so quickly! The only bad thing was my past texts and the pictures were not saved even though I did the LONG backup per the instructions. This was was extremely frustrating as the part of the backup that took the longest (2+ hours) was specifically to backup all my past texts.

This was the easier replacement. We even had it shipped to a hotel we were staying at on vacation in southern California. Yes I would recommend Asurion as a replacement/insurance carrier for friends and family. This replacement phone made our trip to Disneyland complete!

Great. Very happy. Highly recommend. New phones replaced Note 8. Yeah. Oh yes one old phone no reception, dropped calls etc. The other broken screen both replaced. We had Note 3 and Note 5 before. Glad to get new Note 8.

This has been the worst experience of my life!!! I'm in my 60s and have NEVER had a problem like this! The people are polite but don't understand the issues. They tell me that the tablet I had an ASUS 10 is no longer available. They send me an Ellipsis 8. The only thing I liked about it is the screen was bigger. Then they sent me another (I still had the first one that they sent me, no problems at that time) because they said that my claim was never submitted by them. I tried to tell them that they already sent me a replacement. Still they sent me a new one. Only this time it was a smaller tablet. They said it was comparable to the one I started with that was damaged. I sent that one back, unused. Then the Ellipsis stopped working. I called and the lady was nice enough. And she tried to troubleshoot to fix it but wasn't working. But now the Ellipsis was no longer available. The only one available was a little one.
I originally went with a bigger screen because I work with children and like to show them videos of topics we are studying and a bigger screen is easier for a group of kids to see. However I now have developed tremors and even typing this is frustrating due to them. I constantly shake just enough that I sometimes miss the icon I want and something I didn't want come up. I have been unable to resolve this issue and was in tears when I just hung up on them. Prior to the hang-up call I was on with a lady and just before we were able to complete our replacement of this tablet I was disconnected.
I didn't have her name so when I called back I got some man who was less than friendly and refused to discuss or turn me back to the lady I was originally speaking with. So now if I want a tablet that doesn't shut off when I'm at 50% or less power and I don't get windows popping up saying it's overheating I have to come up with the money to buy a new tablet. I STRONGLY do not recommend this company.
