Phone finally went completely black. Received new phone within 2 days. Was not able to remove anything on old phone because it was completely black so took sim card out only. Told Asurion customer service rep and they said it's ok they will take care of it.

The representative was professional and courteous. Very personable and really knew what she was doing. was not robotic, had a great personality. When we were waiting for things to load on the phone she also help with the TTY feature as my daughter who uses this phone is deaf.

The Verizon representative was very helpful and the replacement process was very easy. My questions were answered by the Asurion representative and I received the new tablet quickly. I have not set up the new tablet, but will visit a Verizon store after the holidays. Thank you.

Honestly, the whole process was very user friendly and easy to complete (even for a technologically challenged person like myself). I was very surprised by how fast my new phone was delivered and at no extra charge too. After submitting my claim, my phone was delivered to my home the next day. And when the phone that is damaged is the same phone that is assigned your business's phone number, which is how your customers contact you for service. My 1st try didn't go my way and I had to prove to you that I wasn't giving you false info. After my 2nd try to correct my phone issue Asurion came through with flying colors. I did have to do some leg work on my end to prove my point and now I'm happy with the outcome.

Fair and quick process. I had to answer a few questions about what happened to the phone. Next day delivery was a plus because my phone was unusable. I am up and running on replacement phone now. I was able to back up from online cloud backup. Return was easy and no issues.

My carrier is Metro, I love how quick you send the replacement phones. I hate that the phones are not new. I always have a problem with the replacement. I really should have done a upgrade. I would recommend to family if they're low on money and can't afford to pay for a new phone. Then this is the best option but it'll be nice to get a new phone instead of a refurbished one.

Losing my iPhone was the biggest disaster of my 2018. I was far from home, in a place I had never been, with no idea how to get around and I lost my phone. The Verizon store was pretty useless, just cost me a bunch of money. Made me buy a burner phone for $200 that I’d only utilize (poorly) for a few days then have no use for.
But When I called to make arrangements, the woman was wonderful. She conferenced with Asurion, so she could enter the info, since I was driving; And trying to beat the sunset. The woman at Asurion was so helpful and efficient. And polite. And sympathetic; which I think I needed most. I am forever grateful. And glad I pay that extra money every month to insure my phone. However, I wish you could get a phone the same day. Especially when you are alone, in a strange place, away from anyone you know, the day before thanksgiving, with no idea how to get to your temporary “home”. With a great track record of never using your insurance or losing your device.

The first replacement arrived overnight. There was a problem with the replacement device. A new replacement device was shipped overnight. The second replacement device worked with no problems. Asurion helped me replace my LG ThinQ 35 and I was very satisfied. It came faster than I thought it would. The whole filing a claim process was easy and convenient. As far as the fee that I was charged it was $75 cheaper than what I actually expected it to be.

The Verizon store representative and phone representative for Verizon told me that I would probably get a free upgraded phone, but it was replaced with the same type I had. Their Guest Service is TERRIBLE!!! They do not know how to take care of their guest to save their own life! It is like pulling teeth with them. They tend to lie to guest about dates to receive any why the system glitches. How do you NOT know? If you are going to be in customer based business, you need to have answers.

Quick and efficient service. All went smoothly in securing a new phone after my old cell phone slipped out of my hand, cracking the screen upon impact with the graveled path. The associate answered all my questions and the new phone came within two days as promised. The boxes contained everything needed to transition from old to new cell, and shipment of old cell to AT&T.

I did it online, very simple process to turn in a claim to replace my damage iPhone. Tracking information was also helpful. My new iPhone came on the date it was promised. The tech support also helped with activating my new iPhone and resetting the damaged one. Great job Asurion!

Entered the claim online. The process was very easy and I was done in minutes. I received an E-mail updating each stage of the claim and my phone was shipped overnight the same day I entered the claim. I received my new phone by 2:30 the following day. It was the same exact phone and took minutes for me to set it up. Process could not have been easier.

Our AT&T salesman was knowledgeable and professional. We described the problems and followed his advice. The following morning the replacement phone arrived at our home. We returned to AT&T and our salesman worked to transfer all the information to the new phone. All in all a very pain free experience.

Process is easy enough, but the fact that I have to pay $250 deductible blows big. I have 10 devices on my plan and 1 deductible is $12 and the other is ridiculously high at the $250 mark. I don't make a habit of filing claims and feel there was a problem with the device and there should have been NO deductible charged.

I didn't like having to go print out a form to fill out and fax it, however I guess you have to do what you have to do. I was confused about having a deductible also. The deductible is half what we owe on the phone.

My 6 week old phone through Bell Mobility was insured through a third party, Asurion. The phone was dropped and had a cracked screen and they replaced it with a refurbished one. Later found out they only provide refurbished ones but would not admit it to me nor would they allow me to return the replacement. I had to fight with Bell in order to cancel. Get insurance through Apple for Apple products. Better service and not refurbished. I will never insure my THREE phones with them again.

My granddaughter dropped her phone and it was ruined. I filed the claim at 7 pm est and the very next day at 1 pm est a new phone arrived. I couldn’t believe it. Very easy to complete my claim and very fast delivery of new phone. The only disappointment is that the phone I was given to replace my LG G5, I don't much care for. I received Motorola Moto Z2 edge. This phone is very different from the LG G5.

I started my claim online and was only offered an older inferior model phone. I called and waited for 45 minutes to talk to a real person. After a brief conversation she agreed to replace my daughter's phone with a comparable phone (old phone was a iPhone SE and replacement phone was an iPhone 6S). The comparable phone was quickly sent out and we received it within 2 days. We started claim on Sunday evening and received new phone on Tuesday morning. We had an issue while activating my daughter's new phone with a Asurion phone operator which caused my phone to be deactivated. The operator told me I would have to go to the AT&T store to get both my phone and my daughter's phone reactivated. After a trip to the AT&T store they were able to get both phones working again. I am happy with the quick replacement but not too happy with what happened while trying to activate the new phone.

Asurion was most helpful when my daughter recently lost her phone. Was glad we had purchased this insurance. Unfortunately the first AT&T store rep gave us inaccurate advice regarding our policy and claim so we were not able to get the best use of our policy. Recommend going straight to Asurion for assistance and not relying on the carrier for accurate information.

They were very professional in handling the situation and delivery was on time just as they said. GREAT job on both parties. What I like most is that I did a follow up and what I liked was that delivery left a comment on what time it was delivered and where the product was placed at time of delivery.

It was discovered that the wrong replacement phone was sent. Other than the long wait and being on the phone forever I would have rated it 5 star. For some reason the representative of your company could not see the IMEI number for my damaged phone. Then 1st replacement phone was defective and wrong type. Received 2nd replacement also wrong type. After calls to Verizon on a different phone it was all worked out.

They were great. I call and they were nice accurate and just wonderful. Someone stole my phone and I call them. Oh I asked a question. The question was, "Can the person that stole my phone, go anywhere and get service to that phone after I didn’t get it back?" They said no and that is good because I don’t want nobody to have a free and can take it anywhere and get it service. They should be put in Jail for that.

I switched to Verizon September 22, 2012. I’ve always paid before my bill was due. I’ve paid for insurance for two phones and never made a claim. My wife dropped her phone on 12/13/2018 and filed a claim. The representative said the part was in stock and a tech would come between 1-3 pm the following Tuesday, which I was happy to agree and paid the fee over the phone right then. The tech was supposed to call 30 minutes prior to showing up. The tech texted at 2:45 pm and said they’d have to re-schedule until the next day due to not having the part. Didn’t show the next day but text and scheduled again for Friday the 21st of December.
I sure hope they show tomorrow beforehand 3-5pm appointment. Sounds like miscommunication somewhere or just a tech that doesn’t want to show. Keep in mind this is the first claim on two of my covered phones in over 6 1/2 years. I wouldn’t recommend Asurion to anyone after this. My wife’s phone still works but she’s cut her fingers on this $800, insured phone. What’s the point of insurance if it takes 2 weeks to get a repair done. Not happy and I’ll be canceling Asurion once the repair is done. I’d rather pay an independent phone repair business than pay a monthly premium and deductible for second or third rate insurance. I pay a lot of money to Verizon and Asurion for service. I expect some service.

I have lost my phone and filed a claim with Asurion on November 29, 2018. My claim got approved and received "your service request is complete" and "We'll ship your replacement device soon" email on December 2, 2018. Till now I didn't receive replacement device and when I checked online it's stuck at "replacement device: The tracking information not available this time" from last 18 days. I called 4-5 times on Asurion customer care and they are not giving any ETA and every time said, "iPhone XS process is different than others, it's manual process and still under review, we will inform you once your device ships." This is not acceptable and don't know how many days I have to wait to get my device back. At this point I am running out of patience. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Overall great experience with the service! Every time I needed a replacement phone it was there within 24hrs. Only cost the $150 deductible which was expected. The process was streamline and simple and the claim can be completed in minutes. The only downfall is once I hit my 3 claims within a year, they broke up with me and dropped me as a customer. This "break" is to last a year, so there is a profit vs loyalty issue with them. And yes, that was in the fine print that you sign but still made me laugh when I received the Dear John letter saying they were letting me go. :(

I had a 6 week old Galaxy Note 9 that I am paying a lot of money for, the screen was being repaired by an Asurion rep who broke the phone. I still had to pay the cost for a screen replacement after he broke my "new" phone and it was replaced by a refurbished one, that had also had to be replaced... by another refurbished one that I am also having issues with.

The customer service representatives that I spoke were some of the best I have ever dealt with. When I ordered my new phone they said they only had a color that I didn't want but would accept. But when it came it was my original color! I didn't have to ask again but they remembered which I thought was very considerate. I had a drone purchased for me in 2017 for Christmas by my son who was offered a protection Plan from Asurion through Walmart and was told it covered everything including crashes for three years from the date of purchase. Two weeks ago I was flying the drone. It lost communications with the remote which can be verified with the flight log, it flew up and away got caught in tree limbs crashed to the ground on concrete. I contacted Asurion filed a claim with them and was told I would be receiving a call from them in the next three days.
The next day I got an email stating claim denied. I call them for an explanation as to why. I was told accidental damages due to consequences was not covered. I was told to review my warranty contract. I did so but could find nothing excluding these reasons in my contract. I called back later and spoke again with another representative and found out Asurion changed its drone policy in 2018. She agreed with me and escalated the appeal to her supervisor. I got a call from her supervisor today and was told it wouldn't be covered for the same reasons I explained this contract was purchased in 2017 and she told me it didn't matter because that was their new policy. Buyer beware. Walmart still sells the warranties but Asurion will only cover the remote for repair. How often does a remote crash to the ground and get broken? It's a simple case of company losing money on a product and refusing to honor their word. SHAME ON YOU ASURION!!!

I received my replacement phone within a day of submitting the claim. Everything was included and it was easy to transfer my data. I did have an issue figuring out how to delete all of the data off my old phone, but a quick Google search took care of that. Using the same box and enclosed label, I was able to drop the old phone at the post office and be done. Just waiting on confirmation that it has been officially received. Overall I was very satisfied with the entire process. I was pleased with how easy the website was to use. The one complaint I have is I had a red iPhone that was replaced with a silver one. I think I paid a little extra for the red. Even if I didn’t, I still got the red for a reason. This is my second time to use my insurance and the last time I received a different color phone from my original color. I think that if you’re going to replace a phone it should be the same one. If my fender gets damaged on my red car I expect it to not be replaced with a silver fender.

I don't think this company is being fair to the customers. I've had insurance on my Android for over a year, paying $6 a month. My phone suddenly stopped charging so I went thru the claims process and paid an additional $50 only to receive a refurbished phone. Upon calling Asurion I was told that that was outlined in the policy. I guess if you all got into an accident in your car that you pay insurance on you would be ok with refurbished parts too... I'm sure that's not the case. But it's ok for your company to get over on consumers like this. I've ended up paying close to $150 for a refurbished phone... I could have just bought a new phone for $100 instead of paying insurance every month... WHAT A RIPOFF.

My phone broke. My deductible has always been $100. My phone broke again within the same year. I’m still thinking that my deductible is $100. I receive my bill and it was $225. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. “You had two replacement phones within a year.” But that is why you pay insurance so you can have a replacement. Bad customer service stay away from this company.

I have been a Verizon customer since Sept 2016 I have had insurance on all my devices with the multi-service coverage. I had one of the phones on my account stolen then recovered damaged. I filed a claim and because the device had not been used in more than 30 days Asurion will not cover it. But they sure don't refuse the money I have been and still spending on insurance. Seems like if I am paying for insurance it should not matter if the device is being used or not. Why am I paying for insurance if they can weasel their way out of their policy.

Wonderful, easy to deal with, would recommend a friend. The people on the phone were great. I had no problem at all. The replacement phone came fast. I didn't think it would come that fast but it did. I was impressed.

I've had them for about 4 years. My screen broke and I called for the new policy change they had for $29.99 you could fix an iPhone screen. Apparently the person "tech" recommended I replaced my whole phone instead of just the screen (I had only two cracks on the screen and nothing inside was showing). If I wanted a brand new phone I would do that, not try and fix my screen. My phone's fair market value is worth less than $225 which is the only option they are giving me instead of just fixing my screen which is why I kept them this past September. The excuse they gave me for not fixing my phone is because they don't have the "parts" for my iPhone. (Why advertise something that is not being held up to, the rest of the issues should be added on there.) I just wasted money, never used them. Stay away.

Very easy to use claim form to initiate process. I Got it next the day but had to go to the store to get SIM card which was not in initial shipment Thank you so much. So glad I had insurance on this expensive piece of technology.

Calling Asurion was a good experience, they were cordial, helpful, courteous, and above all knowledgeable. They helped me out got my problem taken care of immediately and my new phone was shipped out the next day. Appreciate all the people that helped me.

I have lost my phone and I have filed a claim on 12/06 and claim was approved on the next day on 12/07. And I got email saying I should receive my replacement device by 12/10. But till today 12/18 I haven't got the phone. And today when I called Asurion customer care and gave the details they kept me on hold for 15 mins and they just disconnected the call without providing any details or ETA. I will not recommend this to any of my friends. Please stay away...

Metro by T Mobile is my carrier but that was not an option in the carrier field. The two agents that last helped me were great. They listened to me and helped to resolve the issues I had. Keep those two and train everyone to be just like them!

Process was easy. Fast delivery. Appreciate the service. What I did not like is the fact that my deductible rises if I make an additional claim. I have a family plan and I alone cannot protect every device and I do not think the deductible should rise with each claim.

Fast service, and a great new phone. I had a Samsung Note 5 and now have a Note 8. I have no issues to complain about. I'd would use this company again. The phone is refurbished, but it is just like a brand new phone. I had the new phone the next day after I submitted the claim.

Phone went missing at 330 PM. I thought stolen. Called AT&T pronto to turn it off. By 630 was in AT&T store. By 8 pm you had a phone on its way to me. At 1130 the following a.m. the replacement was delivered just as my phone was found. So replacement is on its way back to you. But speed of new phone arriving was impressive.

I had to call in to find out my claim was approved. It would have been better to have been notified by you. Otherwise I found the procedure to file the claim to be clear and easy. Also, your phone people were very polite and thorough.

I made a mistake on my form and received a very timely phone call and a friendly customer service rep helped me correct it. My new phone was delivered very quickly. I did have a little difficulty with setting up the phone and had to try multiple times to call for help. When I did reach someone they were helpful.

The representative was very professional and caring and she went out her way to make sure everything was done in timely manner and made sure I understand stood the process from beginning to the end. The representative explained why the first order did not go thru and she apologized for that she could not be helpful enough. She wanted to know what else she could do for me. She explained my deductible and why I was getting a different type of equipment opposed to what I had. And in doing that she was apologetic and asked if I was ok with that. She was so friendly and caring.

Everyone was friendly, the wait time was very minimal. I got my replacement phone in a day and a half. Overall experience was great. I still need to go to the store for them to transfer all of my apps and info.

A fast and easy process. As this is the first lost claim that I have ever made, was surprised how fast my new phone was received. Easy to file a claim online with the required information. Also like the one year warranty with the replacement phone. Was able to track the shipment of the new phone which was a good feature.

Broke phone, immediately filed claim. Received device next day. Asurion updated device due to device not being in stock which was great. Only thing I didn’t like, which is just a personal thing of mine, is I don’t have a say so in shippers. I hate FedEx.

I filed a claim on December 13th, and I still have not received my phone! I sent my phone to the company the next day, after receiving my package, and haven't heard a thing from them since. Asurion promotes having "24 hour phone return" but this is NOT true. According to the website, if I filed my claim on Monday-Thursday (which I did), I should already have my phone back. I have been without a phone for far too long, and I travel a lot. I hate not being able to contact anyone while traveling, because if something happens to me, no one will ever know. I filed my claim over the phone and they did not even give me a claim number, so I cannot even track my claim online. It's almost been a full week!!! Very unhappy with the service.

First time making a claim. I didn't expect the whole claim went so streamline and smooth. After filing online, I got the phone very next day. My wife was very upset about her phone got stolen while she was traveling from Asia back to the US. It was a pleasant experience ASURION. 2 Thumbs up!!

My wonderful Microsoft Lumia 950 battery started to fail. I call Asurion and within two days, I had a new phone. It clearly not of the same quality as the Microsoft phone but it is what is available at this time. I received good support to get the new phone running. It will never equal the Lumia 950 but it will have to do far now. As of this time, I can receive call but I am still unable to answer them. As of this time, I am still unable to write text messages. As of this time I still do not have any of the Microsoft Office features on the phone. Hopefully, if I can find some help this will be rectified. So my experience was five stars. The phone so far is far less than five stars. I doubt anyone will read this or even care but I have given you my answer. It's too bad that the replacement phone is not the equivalent of the Microsoft Lumia 950.

Service took 48 hours because of a snowstorm through the midwest and Ohio Valley. Was able to track and know exactly when my replacement would arrive. My only complaint is the ability to be able to talk to a live body when calling to make the initial claim. It is extremely frustrating trying to talk to a computer voice. Maybe give an opt out option for this part of the process. Nobody likes talking to a computer generated know it all that give very little help.

I accidentally threw away the wrong box... Had the SIM card, accessories, instruction book in there along with the prepaid package to return the damaged device. Supposedly they're sending all the stuff again. They were responsive and assuring. So, we'll see...
