Asurion was fast. Overall I had a great experience with all who help me with My claim. I cracked my screen. A technician came to our motel to put a new screen on my phone. A day or so later my phone started glitch ion out. I called Asurion back. They sent me another phone. The very next day I had the replacement phone. Thanks Asurion.

I have metro. The service was very nice and the agent I was on the phone with was so professional and also very sweet!!! She took care of everything in just one short conversation!! Absolutely zero complaints! I would definitely be happy to call again if necessary.

I just got off the phone with Asurion as it's been a week and I haven't received my phone. They said the address on the label was incorrect and UPS is returning the phone to them. They can then correct the label and resend but it would take another week until I receive my phone back. I asked why they put the incorrect address on the label as the package to send the phone back to them came without a problem but the representative told me she couldn't say. In total best case is 2 weeks they've had my phone. Go with a local company for repairs or insurance. Don't waste your time or money on them.

No hassle. Received replacement phone. New phone would discharge rapidly and wouldn't charge more than 70%. Verizon replaced phone with one that worked correctly. We lost our newly applied Iron screen film ($50) when we returned the Asurion phone to Verizon. Is our one year warranty from Asurion valid on the second replacement Verizon supplied phone? Received phone next day no problems. Phone was ready to go just transferred all my information and good to go. Would recommend that all buy this insurance just in case you need it. It is a great buy if you need it get the insurance. Very pleased.

I received my replacement phone within two days. I had to go with silver instead of gold. The box included complete instructions and supplies to send my broken phone back. Including label, tape to seal box and packing to keep it safe in transit.

I ran into snags when trying to send my replacement to my work address. I even tried entering information exactly as it appears on the United States Post Office website. On three (3) separate days, I had to chat with the help desk. I would have been much happier if my request could have been fulfilled at the retail store.

The claim process went very smooth but the delivery of the phone was bumpy and stressful. Federal Express the delivery company surrender the phone to another person. I have to start another phone claim creating unnecessary difficulties for everybody in the process.

Everything was great, got the new phone on time and it was and came with easy instructions to set up the phone. I was amazed that they even sent everything you need to return your old phone and seal the box back and send it back at no charge.

Once I escalated my issue to a supervisor, I was heard, received empathy, and my issue was resolved promptly. Word of warning, Asurion refurbished phones are not great, we had ours for a month when we had to call and fight for a replacement due to a phone hardware issue.

The replacement of my damaged phone was prompt. I had just upgraded my phone when I dropped the new phone before I could get a case and screen protector. The replacement fee was nominal. There was a slight delay in getting another of the same phones, but I was informed of this delay via email. I have been very satisfied with the service I have received.

Fastest service ever! Received my phone in the two days they stated! I live in Hawaii and for the shipping to be EXACT was amazing! Sent phone back with no issue and was able to recover EVERYTHING on my old phone to be transferred to my new phone with no issue!

We needed to keep checking on the status of the case. However, everyone I spoke with on the phone was helpful & able to get me to the next step/approval needed. If you want to improve, I'd say that it would be nice if I didn't have to keep checking on the approval status to get a replacement phone.

My phone would not boot up. It worked fine one day and the next it wouldn't turn on. I took it into the AT&T store, they confirmed it would not turn on. They called Asurion and a new (refurbished) upgraded phone was sent to me. It took 4 days because of it being a Saturday (of course) when it broke, but it was worth it, the reinstall of my contacts and apps was seamless, easy. I was back up and running within hours of getting the new phone.

The microphone stopped working on my iPhone and I called Asurion for a replacement. I received a new phone the following day after calling. I didn't even have to pay because they had placed a 12 month warranty on it a few months prior when I had a tech come to my office for $30 to repair a cracked screen. I was expecting to pay up to $200 out of pocket for a replacement phone till I called and was told a tech would come to my house or work and fixed it for $30, and then when the microphone wasn't working, they replaced the entire phone for free! The additional warranty was added when the screen was repaired. Excellent!

Everything went smooth just getting to fax and upload stuff was a pain. When I received the phone the girl in Manahawkin office was so rude. Told me I could of transferred the stuff myself. If I knew how would not have gone there. She made me cancel DirecTV. It was like she was doing me a favor. Her name was Nicole. Was there the 9th at 6:30 pm. Sad when people hate their job. Next phone might not be iPhone. Might be Samsung. Don’t need to be treated like that. Your service was fast. Ty.

I am pleased with the swift assistance I received from Asurion. I recently experienced poor customer service from AT&T, but thankfully Asurion made things better. I am happy to know that Asurion also works with Verizon, because I may be switching over to them in the very near future. This is the first time that I have ever protected a device with insurance. So thankful that I did! Had not even had my new Galaxy Note 9 two weeks when I dropped it and cracked the screen. Put in claim for two lost iPhones. 6s - 10x. The 6s arrived in 6 weeks in non working condition. Had to return and wait for a second unit. 10x never arrived and after 7 weeks and had to reorder, called for three days before it was shipped. The two units finally arrived in perfect condition and are now working fine.

Web based was very simple, user friendly to submit claim, new phone was delivered within the time frame, less them 72 hrs, activation was simple, easy no needed to call in, activation was web base simple. I have cancelled all insurance on our 5 devices as a result of the deplorable customer service received by both the insurance carrier and AT&T. My son's phone screen was cracked. The technician came to our home, worked on the phone and in doing so made it so that the phone was completely disabled. The new phone had no cellular. Twenty phone calls later to both the insurance company and AT&T we still have no cellular on this “new” phone. The insurance company is a scam. They send you a piece of crap and disable your service and you’re left with nothing that works and no one that knows anything or has the authority or will to fix it. Disappointing.

I purchased 55 inch Smart Hisense TV from Walmart in 2016 in addition to a 4 year warranty with it. When I had trouble with the TV they gave me the run around for almost a week. They refused to repair it. Do not waste your money on their warranties.

I was very pleased and impressed with how quick I got my replacement phone. Within two days was the time frame. Only thing I would change is getting an upgraded phone to the next model being it was going on three models behind. Other than that I had a great experience overall.

Once Asurion finally got my claim it was handled timely and efficiently and would like to insure my other phone with them but do not want to go back to the store. They ran me around getting copies and took cash from me. They didn't want to give back even after I had paid Asurion. This whole procedure took 10 days because of the actions of the local store. My son was 600 miles away without a phone because his was stolen. I'm pleased with Asurion but disappointed with Metro's local store. I received my replacement phone within 24 hours, my local AT&T store manager made sure all my data transferred. The Asurion customer service person allowed me to extend the return of my old phone as I was immediately leaving on a two week vacation. Very happy with this service.

The experience did not start off so great when I was told that I would receive a replacement phone comparable to what I owned. I pay for insurance to replace exactly what I have, color and all. The experience ended great when I received the exact phone I was replacing!!

My phone was stolen. Got a hold of Asurion on Thursday evening and had my new phone by Friday afternoon. Good job Asurion!!! AT&T actually tried to sell me a new phone without telling me my insurance covered me for a stolen phone. Talked to a different agent later in the day and he told me about my insurance coverage.

It was a little hairy at first but they were able to work everything out. They kept telling me. I had to wait 24 hours for review but there was nothing to review. A rep from AT&T had to call Asurion with me on the phone to clear the matter. Then everything was resolved.

I sent my Vizio 32" TV Back to be fixed because the picture kept turning pink. Asurion Sent a box and a label to send it back. I waited a couple of weeks and was told that the screen was cracked and that was not covered. So they sent the broken TV back. The box had a hole in it, and a footprint mark from a shoe. That could have been how it was cracked, plus box looked beat up from shipping. I called their customer service and talked to a lady that said she would call me back in a couple of days, and never did. She gave me a phone number that you can only leave a message on. Called there a couple of times with no response. I would advise people to take this into consideration before purchasing the warranty on a TV, the customer service is not good. I just wanted my TV fixed or replaced.

Updated on 01/08/2019: Extremely worst customer service that I ever got in my life. Filed a service request and it took 25 days for them to deny my claim even after I provided all the documents that were demanded. They did not provide me with the reason for the claim rejection as well. They will talk to you extremely rudely if you ask them the reason for claim rejection which is the right for every customer. I suffered from the loss of $1700 including the price of the phone and the insurance. I would recommend don't ever take insurance with Asurion because they won't ever take care of you in any way and you will suffer from loss of time and money.
Original Review: Filed a service request for a new device and the file is under review from last 25 days. The phone is being used for business purpose and it is negatively impacting my business. Whenever I called for a follow up on my service request they said we still need 24 hours which are never ending 24 hours from last 25 days.

The website was very easy to use and had very easy to follow instructions, even an elementary student could follow. The replacement device was delivered quicker than I expected and the replacement device looked better brand new. The deductible had been discounted because of no prior claims on that particular device phone number.

I had a hard time sending my ID over the Internet. I did not want to do that. But work it out. I like my new phone. It's a Galaxy's S7. So my phone covers don't fit. But once I decided to send my ID I got my replacement phone in one day. That was great. Thank you. I'm not sure if the S7 is working right. When I turn volume down it turns media off instead? I was very pleased with how fast I got my replacement phone. The first phone I received didn’t work, but I called around 5:00 pm to speak to someone to let them know that the replacement phone did not work, and before noon the next day, I had the replacement for the replacement. I pay for the insurance with Asurion on my wireless device through AT&T. $18 a month for both of our lines. In the coverage it says screen repair is covered. One time in 15 years I submit a claim and the rep with Asurion tells me I’m not eligible for the repair and will have to replace the entire phone for $300. It feels like such a scam. Saying things are covered so people pay for it and then say it’s not eligible for said coverages? It’s not right. Then I get some jerk via chat who acts condescending and rude the entire time while I’m already upset and frustrated.
I was given different answers by different people from Asurion and AT&T earlier in the day so I had already been dealing with this for several hours and had gotten nowhere. Now, I’m frustrated, angry, feel cheated, and I was treated terribly by a company in the customer service business. Not a good day for Asurion and leaves me feeling angry.

I cancelled my claim with them and they still charged and sent me the phone. I returned the phone and it’s been a month and some change and they are stating they have not received the phone. I call every day and spoke to numerous agents including supervisors that hang up on me and was no help. They did not care whatsoever. So fart and worried to take someone’s money. Not to mention they lied. Few stating they have the phone and then harassing me they don’t. I will not stop and continue to fight for my money. They are fraud and not professional at all.

At first I was very disappointed as I have dealt with you in the past and never had a problem. But after all the issues got worked out I was very happy... I'm also old enough to know that the days of (the customer is always right!) is long gone. People have gotten so corrupt and or just plain manipulative and sketchy! I can totally understand your hesitation to file claims as fast as you did 10 years ago! I reiterate people are sketchy, as I've heard stories about adults bragging to the fact of how easy they ripped off such similar companies, in which I always grow very upset for the basic fact that the price always gets raised and only hurts the loyal honest consumer! A few times after contacting you guys I had the misfortunate of being stuck on the phones with one gentleman who either thought I was lying didn't know what I was talking about or was plain dumb... I'm sooo glad.
I had AT&T listening so they could see what was going on and that I was in the know (a manager of Asurion want to say) kept going on with me in a not very nice tone thinking I was lying about which phone I owned. I only have one other line and I pay $260 a month in cell phone fees and services, that's nothing to be proud of but it also irritated me that a fellow Asurion worker took up all my free time and basically arguing back and forth the fact I was mistaken are wrong in this conversation. Needless to say I wasn't and when it was all over I had AT&T on the other line still listening going that was crazy and I said, "Thank God you were listening" and sometimes I think human beings sometimes need that assurance that the problem did not lie with them with being over-sensitive, or just plain won't admit when they are wrong.
Other than that I'm very happy with my new phone that you guys replace for me... Thank you very much and I will as well as my spouse continue to keep doing business with your company... The claim process seemed a bit difficult, but once able to complete that process at 6:30 pm, the new phone was received the next morning! Good instructions, etc. New phone camera is not as good as the camera on the phone that was turned in. Will see if someone more expert can correct the photo application on the new phone as is less than acceptable.

I'm on an account with a relative and she's the primary account holder. My phone’s screen was shattered and the phone was totally messed up. I was having trouble making and receiving calls. I was pleased with the expedited service from Asurion after my phone broke. The whole process was easy. They give you adequate time to send back your device.

This is my first use of my phone insurance on my iPhone 6s for a cracked screen. I did an online claim and it processed in one transaction. My options were to repair the cracked screen or replace the phone. I chose to replace the phone. Most likely it is a refurbished phone, but it definitely is more "agile" than my iPhone I had been using for almost 3 yrs. My replacement came the next day, not even 24 hours had gone by. I had assistance in getting it set up, and I used iTunes backup to restore my information. I had a good experience.

The customer service representative was incredibly helpful and explained the process of returning my damaged phone. Also, she cleared up an issue that was going to delay me getting my new phone sent. She took time to properly assess my situation. And she was patient and kind. (That kind of person is difficult to find these days. And, usually, they end up higher in management. She’s headed that way!)

In the end, impressed that I have a replacement phone in hand. Thankful for that, but when paying a monthly premium for this insurance, perhaps the bar should be higher than just relief that “it actually worked” & replacement phone was received. Positive: a lost iPhone X was replaced with a brand new iPhone XS - not a refurbished iPhone X, so essentially an upgrade. Score! Negative: not guaranteed to receive same color phone you had. (Received rather gawdy gold after losing space gray. Bummer.) Positive: the claim processing/approval/ship-out-the-warehouse was lightning fast. All in same day, matter of hours. Negative: the ship/receive process wasn’t as seamless as it could be, by far.
Thousands (millions?) of wireless accounts are family plans, where line holders live at different addresses. The ship-to elements of the process looked as if they would properly ship replacement to the specific line holder’s name/attention at whichever address they input, but in the end, the site didn’t accept certain addresses (ie. work) & places strict restrictions on delivery (wouldn’t allow recipient to have FedEx hold at local station) ultimately sending the line holder urgently needing a replacement on a chase to actually get their device. And when finally at the stage of signing on FedEx’s dotted line to receive, find out it was shipped with attention-to the main account holder’s name, not the line holder’s name that was input on the claim & website ship-to process, so FedEx holds package hostage.
All in all, I think I’ll be canceling this service and just biting the bullet to fully buy replacement phone the next day after losing/breaking current one. In 2019, it’s just too long to have to go a week without a phone, running around trying to overcome the insurance process’s shortcomings. Users who have a cut & dry scenario likely would do just fine. If you have any unique situation, you could run into hurdles.

Device was damaged and could not be repaired. There was a problem with the touch screen, could only tap keyboard with a stylus. Could not hear through the device speaker, only sound was through the speaker phone, Claim was filed, approved and a replacement device was received the following business day.

I received my phone in less than 24 hours. I was amazed. My phone had an issue and would not charge. I thought it would take at least a couple of days so I bought a cheap fifty dollar phone and had the Sim card put in it. I would not have done so if I knew how fast the phone would come. The speed was very impressive.

I had my phone stolen at Miami International Airport. I have a residence in Florida and Ohio. My phone arrived promptly however at the wrong address, although it was verified twice to be shipped to Ohio. I called with the help of Verizon to get the matter fixed and have had nothing but problems and have still not received a phone. I have been told that I would receive emails, that everything would be fixed within 3 hours, that was over 13 hours ago. One of the reps accused me of fraud. I now have to have the phone shipped overnight to Ohio at my expense. The last person that I spoke to was a supervisor by the name of Jenette operator number **. She told me I would receive information within 3 hours, which I have not received.

I think it was too many people to go through. Too much info to send to fax, to email. It was more info than I have to give my car insurance for a claim. I think a little overboard for all info required.

Phone was shipped quickly and was received well within the timeframe indicated. I would only recommend a “what to do before you seal the box to return the old phone” checklist. I had to reopen the box several times to ensure everything was correctly completed.

Unfortunately the phone had to be replaced twice but both times I received the phone very quickly, which was nice. However, it was frustrating the initial phone didn't charge and had to be replaced within days (after having all my information transferred over) so this meant another trip to AT&T for help which was a major inconvenience during the holidays.

I cracked the back of my iPhone X. Although it was fully functional, I obviously did not want to keep my phone that way so I filed a claim. The price to replace my phone was more expensive than I’d like but then I knew this so it’s not an issue. That said after filing my claim which was simple enough, my new phone was delivered within two days and the setup instructions made it a breeze. I didn’t even have to call for assistance which they offer. I placed my old phone in the package sent with my new phone and that was that.

So fast and so easy. Got everything done and since it was like 7 pm I didnt expect to actually get my replacement the next day but I did. It was so amazing. Had no problems at all. And got my new device set up and going in a flash.
