    After 3 days and 3 clerks later I got the phone. It cost me $225 later. This all I have to say. Just the replacement device a little costly even you have insurance for the device. Didn't understand the problem with manual input and why it was so much work.

With the insurance replacements, you are required to pay a deductible, as with most types of insurance , but at much lower cost than the retail cost of the device. This replacement also features a 12-month warranty that covers the phone for any malfunction in the first year.     I had the total family protection with Asurion for our 5 lines through Verizon for two+ years. When it came time to actually use the insurance I was told that the total protection coverage for cellular phones in Florida was not valid. My daughter's phone would not stay powered up. The sales tactics claiming to cover everything are deceptive. Asurion should not be allowed to charge the same if coverage is not available. Paid for a service that was not available.

    Horrible! Was hung up on twice. Transferred to Samsung where entering the code for help did not work. The noise in the background made it hard to hear the person at your support center and the instructions were not clear. I asked, "Which pin do I enter, the phone or the password?" Answer, "Yes." I was trying to activate a replacement phone. The lady told me she activating the new phone and stop the old phone then call me right back. Well guess what - old phone stopped before the new was working. I called back, went through all re-explaining my problem, my info etc FOURTH TIME using my wife's phone. After 3 days and over 7 hours on the phone I still can not get my old phone wiped clean so I can return it. I can not wait to get rid of you and AT&T.

    Last winter I had an issue with an Insurance claim mainly because of the agent I was dealing with was over the top rude and terrible to me... It was a nightmare to take care of. AT&T handled dealing with a Asurion and made it right. I was very nervous this time when my phones screen just stopped turning on. I was able to do everything with Asurion online.     My over-2-year-old Hotspot was going out. You sent a replacement in just a few days. Your people helped me set it up. Within an hour the new one was doing what the old one had done. I called again. You overnighted another new one at your expense. I had your people set it up again. It has worked wonderfully well. No problems.     Asurion replaced my iPhone 7 with an iPhone 7 that was known to have a malfunction that causes it to drop service. Despite being aware of this issue, they continue to distribute faulty iPhone 7s as replacement devices. They initially informed me that it was not their responsibility to ensure that the device worked; rather, I should go to Apple to replace it.

    After agreeing to replace my phone, I was told there was no way they could check the serial number ahead of time to determine whether it was a faulty device. I would just have to wait and see, then perhaps restart this entire process. I was assured my phone would arrive the next day. It did not. When I called to inquire about this, I was told the claim had never been submitted. Now, my phone will arrive 48 hours later and I am still without a cellphone. As an additional comment, I was unable to check the status of my claim online nor was I able to chat online with a customer service representative. I had to call to receive help. This was difficult to do, considering that Asurion sent me a cellphone that does not connect to cellular service.

    In all, I am terribly disappointing with this experience and am disinclined to continue paying for insurance through Asurion. I am unsure whether this poor experience comes from the sheer incompetence of Asurion's business model or if they simply do not care about their customers. I am hopeful that the next phone they send me will work because I do not look forward to further interactions with them.

    Tried to use the 3 year warranty ($28) to replace the padded liner for our trampoline that was ripped and shredded. We take it down every winter and unsure why or how this happened. It was denied for some reason. I asked why and am still waiting for a response. What is the point of getting a replacement plan/protection plan if I am not able to use it?

Reviewed pictures that show deterioration of the padded liner. Please contact the manufacturer to find out if you can purchase a replacement padded liner. Thank you for your participation with the Walmart Protection Plan Program!" Ok...so not only did I pay $28 for the 3 year protection plan that is not going to cover the padded liner, I have to pay for a replacement myself. I am hoping that they reconsider... Directly on their website it states that "normal wear and tear" is covered.

    I tried to live-chat with Asurion today. Apparently, the entire purpose of them having a chat forum is to have someone recommend something along the lines of, "Hi, we actually have no way to help you via chat. You have to call the number. You have to CALL. We hear that your phone you got from us doesn't work. We recommend that you drive to a Verizon store and call us from there. Thank you for your use of Asurion chat. Goodbye." It just didn't seem like a good system when you are dealing with sending people broken replacement phones that don't even turn on. I have only had this replacement for maybe a week. It does appear through communication, that there is no way to report this issue if your phone arrives broken unless you borrow a phone from someone. It just seems like this system is not logical or practical given what the business is.

    I am going to try to work things out with Asurion, but I do not have any confidence about the process. I needed my phone for work, and waiting on unreliable replacements in the mail is not good enough. I am very disappointed with them so far, and I do not see them being able to resolve the issue because I have already contacted them about resolving the issue. I also very much distrust these "refurbished" phones they send based on this experience. I personally, do not recommend going through Asurion unless you have a back-up phone and do not need it to work right away or reliably.

    in a nutshell: My phone randomly stopped receiving signal - long story short I worked with AT&T to obtain a new sim-card and that did not solve the issue nor did a hard reset. I was directed from AT&T while at their store to fill-out an insurance claim with Asurion. The process was a cakewalk. Just a few days later- boom - a replacement phone was at my door and solve my issue. I am actually impressed with this process, it was extremely easy and changed my perception of phone insurance. My deductible was reasonable at a little over $110 for my S8+ I have had since it came out.     Today I was transferred from T-Mobile to Asurion to file a claim. The idiot rep told me I wasn't covered because I had changed my number. I explained to her that I was still paying on the insurance for the phone and that I was covered. She me that the SIM card is the only thing covered not the phone. WHAT! What a freaking idiot this person is. She refused to transfer me back to T-Mobile and she hung up on me.     First time I’ve ever submitted a claim, they sent me a trash refurbished phone after charging me $150 deductible! All of this happened in August of 2018. I received the phone and it didn’t work. They asked me to send in my original replacement phone and their trash refurbished phone, which I did. I ended up buying my own phone. They received their refurbished phone and I was told that I would get my deductible back through my AT&T account. I called in November, December and now March. They are now telling me that there’s no record that I sent the refurbished phone back. That’s a lie because three different employees told me they saw the record. I’m beyond saddened and I feel so taken advantage of. How can they steal from regular working class people like that???

    My experience was great with Asurion. I did my claim on a Wednesday and the next day my phone was delivered. Asurion service was great. Also, when I received the phone, the pro tech help me set it up. I would recommend my friends and family to them.
