Quick! Did not like getting a refurbished phone though. They do not tell you they replace your phone with a used phone. It does work like it’s new but it’s not the same. In the future, this is something that needs to be addressed.

The replacement process was fast, intuitive, and mostly painless. Way easier than I was expecting. When there was an issue with my claim they let me know and helped me take care of it quickly. Once my claim was in, my phone came the next day even though it was a holiday weekend.

The phone was perfect and everything went great. The only thing is the customer service rep I spoke with over the phone to help with set up was very nice but never called me back as stated to make sure my phone worked. All in all it was great experience.

It was amazingly simple and straightforward from the time I started my online claim to finishing the follow up with a call. The other factor is how quickly I received the replacement phone. I go the the phone the next day. This meant I was only without a phone for less than a day.

We are a small business that ordered phones for our employees. It was a large amount of phones, so when I picked them up from the store the rep put them in a large box to conceal what was in there due to the number of phones. When out on a delivery several boxes were stolen off the truck, one of them contained the phones. Since the phones were insured we called Asurion to place a claim (what a nightmare that was). The first initial call was great. The rep was helpful and took our information and told us what the next step was. I provided all required information. In the process of trying to finish the claims we had to call in. This is where the nightmare begins.
We were told that our claims were denied due to the information provided. We asked to speak to a supervisor, but the rep kept coming back on with scripted answers to why it was denied. We had to call back several times to get a so called adjuster on the line and was told first that we were denied because the insurance was not used as intended. I am not sure what that means but theft is not something that is in our control. Then we were told we were denied because there has to be activity on the phones in order to have claim approved. We spent the day getting the runaround with excuse after excuse why we were denied.
We ask them to provide the written documentation to back up the reasons provided, which they refused. I checked all the phones and they all have usage on them. So the consumer is strong armed into to buying insurance from a company that does not provide the service we pay for. Not one time did anyone ask for the police report or additional documentation of the theft. I know of people that have had the phones stolen before they ever receive them and have received a replacement. It is terrible that they are allowed to continue to steal from consumers and not provide the service they are paid under contract to provide.
I am happy to help you with this as I understand this can be frustrating. Our policy does require billable usage on the line at the time of peril. This helps us verify the correct device was used at the time the device was lost, stolen or damaged. If the devices do not have talk time, texting or data on them from being used, unfortunately the insurance was not active on the device at the time they were stolen. My phone was stolen after midnight one night. I used their 24 hour website to report that it was stolen right away. It was so easy to figure out and explained everything. I had a new phone in 2 days. So easy to use!

The price of the replacement could be less. I think with the price we pay for phone and insurance It should be lower. I hadn’t had my phone but a month. It was hard paying that for the replacement. Otherwise the promptness and helpfulness of customer service was great. It would help for you to also replace our screen protectors with our device. Once those are removed they are useless.

I have spoken to 4 different agents with Asurion agents over the past month. Everyone took my info and told me my claim was processed and the device would be shipped in a couple of days. I have repeated this now four times and my replacement still has not been shipped. So I am a CPA without home internet during tax season. These people are absolutely incompetent or they have been instructed to delay claims. If this is AT&T ProTech it’s my last with them. I will go elsewhere. Criminal deception here!

I need to make a claim for my iPhone 10 (X) Max - the camera has cracked. AT&T wireless sends me to Asurion site to make the claim- as I do have and pay for the insurance- only to keep getting “website down for maintenance”. This has been a few days. I will be going into the AT&T store to figure out what to do.

Representative was friendly. Told her my issue which was ultimately resolved. But, twice she provided a suggestion to take the phone to a local site to repair a cracked screen, which was the secondary problem. My issue required a replacement phone due to battery not maintaining a charge.

If 0 stars would be possible that is what I would give. I paid $120 for insurance of my laptop. My laptop was $979. After it broke I was told that it usually takes 3 days for repair. It took them 5 weeks to find out they cannot repair. After that they gave me three options for replacement. All of them did not meet the the specs of my laptop (processor, SSD). Then they gave me one more (only) option. It took 4 more weeks till finally they sent the replacement. I emailed several times; and was told I will be called within 2 business days. Not once anyone called me. They sent me a refurbished Lenovo gaming laptop without ethernet, without number pad.
I need my laptop for work, not for gaming. They could not care less when I told them we do not have wifi, only Ethernet. They even asked me to make pictures to prove that it does not have Ethernet. I did, and they did not even respond. I had to call to find out. At no stage they seemed to have good will to meet the standards of my laptop, only what they had in stock to send out. Pure frustration. So, I ended up buying a new laptop.

Getting someone on the phone was a bit lengthy, but once I did the representative was very polite and answered all my questions and concerns. After the third time, it seems like finally, the last phone is working fine. I trust the Asurion company, but sometimes I don't know why is sending malfunction phones and is a waste of time to set up and return the phones.

I made a claim for a lost iPhone 6 and received a replacement upgrade iPhone 6s and a cover in 2 Days. I’ve been paying the insurance through AT&T and was not even sure what was covered, so I was pleasantly surprised when the replacement was only my deductible of $75. The phone operators were very helpful and thorough.

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of the service rep I spoke with. She was not very nice. She seemed like she was in a hurry and kind of rude. Otherwise, we received our replacement device promptly and I was able to get everything switched over to the new phone quickly.

Phone died during use in my hands, contacted my carrier, contacted insurance and had new phone two days later. The most difficult part is doing everything with no phone. I use it for everything. Scanning and sending the ID documents took getting my kids to help me and use of their laptops and printers, BUT I totally understand why it’s being done and the reasoning behind it. Overall, an excellent experience!! Thank you for providing a VERY needed service!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is confusing and long, but bear with me. Last week I started a claim for my fairly broken iPhone 7 (could only use airpods to answer calls and camera didn't always work) and received a new iPhone 7 (we'll call this one replacement#1) within 4-5 days. Everything was peachy until the phone screen turned black and home button/side buttons did nothing (2 hours after switching my service over from old phone). I can't make calls, texts, get to home screen. The screen is black although it still "dings" when I get texts. I use my cell phone all day for work so this was frustrating.
I called Asurion (hold time 28min) and spoke to a very nice lady named Sheryl who said they could send me replacement (I'll call this one replacement #2) and it should arrive next day (YAY) but she had to transfer me to a different department to get more information from me. My call got dropped so I called back, another 30 min hold time. The next lady I talked to (whose name I couldn't understand) was incredibly short with me and seemed very confused and irritated. She told me it would be 3-5 business days before I received the replacement #2 phone.
I was confused since I had just been told that it would be shipped and I would receive it next day. She also asked if I wanted it sent to an address that I haven't lived at in 10+ years (I'm not even sure how they had it on file). I said no and gave her my current address (where the original replacement was sent...). Then she told me that I would have to fill out a change of address form and that would add another 1-2 days of shipping. I was baffled: why do I have to fill out a change of address form to have replacement #2 sent to my home where I RECEIVED the replacement #1?!
I was tired of holding and kept asking why one person told me it would be here next day and the other 2-5 business days. Her answer was "I don't know". I was very polite and apologetic, stating my frustration but in an appropriate, gentle manner. She did not respond in a gentle manner. She repeatedly cut me off "Ma'am, Ma'am. If you'd just listen to me I can explain" but her explanation was either "I don't know/I don't know how to answer that". I let her know again that I use my phone hourly for work and need to connect with my clients ASAP and she told me my only other option (besides waiting 5 business days for the replacement) was to go to AT&T and buy a phone, keep the receipt and AT&T MIGHT return it once I get the Asurion replacement. No thank you!
Not wanting to spend $500-$800 on a new phone, I decided to have the replacement #2 shipped. The call ended with her hanging up on me. I did not once raise my voice, use any expletive language and kept my cool, although extremely frustrated. This all took place yesterday at 3pm PST and I haven't received a confirmation email. I now have to wait a week or more to receive a phone. I would like to say I will never use this service again but I'm not sure AppleCare will apply to the phone Asurion is sending me. WHAT A MESS!!

Phone got here in less than 48 hours and was delivered on a Saturday. So far no issues with phone. The process was simple and quick. The AT&T people were also helpful in deactivating lost phone so information could not be recovered from it. Hate losing a phone but the process worked good.

Phone got stolen and they took care of it without any problems or delays. Shipping was FedEx next day. And I didn’t even have to be there to sign for it. Phone came preprogrammed with my number. All I had to do was restore my last backup and I was back to normal life.

The Asurion tech came out to my work to fix my cracked screen, so while he was fixing it he put the screen back on and came up to me and said that the bolts are stripped. He looked worried like he knew he just messed up my phone. He said he hasn't ever seen this problem so he gave me the Asurion phone number and told me I need to call them and tell them what happened, but he broke my phone so I don't have a working phone to call them and then he just left... I have no way of contacting anyone about this problem because he broke my screen. It doesn't turn on or anything. So now I am stuck at work until 7 with no ride home, no way to call Asurion or anything. Very disappointed with Asurion, will never recommend them to anyone or use them again.

Quick, easy and professional, for the iWatch; which had a cracked face. Don’t like that for the second item, a Galaxy phone, requires that we print a form (don’t have a printer). When we called and spoke to a human to discuss alternative, she was not friendly and not helpful. Not sure how we will address this problem.

Received phone as promised and setup was a breeze! Very highly satisfied with all the instructions and help switching from the broken phone to the new one! I did this in less than a half hour with absolutely no problems! Now all I have to do is put broken phone in box, attach pre-paid postage sticker and mail it back!

All agents are wonderful and professional. I received a new cell phone the very next day. I called for help to update my new phone and they were great and patiently guided me through step by step. The only downfall is, replacement cell phones are not of good quality. They are refurbished and like a used car, a week later problems starts. I had two replacements in one month. I gave up and now, I’m letting this one go. Guess is best to just buy a new phone. Thank you.

AWFUL experience with Asurion, my phone was stolen on Christmas eve, a Samsung Note 4, when I filed a claim they would not give me a comparable device to my Note 4. They gave me a Samsung S8 instead. Just recently my husband had his Note 4 stolen. He was given the option of a Samsung Note 5. I contacted Asurion. They were AWFUL with their customer service, they said when I accepted the S8 it made my phone a permanent S8 when my phone was stolen I needed a phone immediately. Asurion knew my device I had. The difference between an S8 and a Note 4 or 5 is significant. I feel ripped off by Asurion. They had the opportunity to make this right instead I got the runaround I feel ripped off.

I am very happy with how easy it was to file my claim. I called my claim in and was helped over the phone by a customer service lady named Ann. She was super friendly, helpful, and took care to answer all my questions even double checking any to make sure she gave me the correct information when needed. I was given two options to chose from, a gold 16gb phone or a rosegold 64gb phone. I went with more gigs and since the phone is pink it was a win/win for me. It was easy to submit my claim and the customer service level was excellent. It definitely made the hassle of replacing my phone a bit better. I just received my new phone but haven’t hooked it up yet. It looks good and I’m happy with my choice so far.

My iPhone stopped allowing me to make calls and take calls and so after getting advice to request an insurance claim came some anxiety about the transfer from old phone to new phone process. But, it went very smoothly. I received my new iPhone the next day (on a weekend no less), and the migration of information (contacts, texts, notes, calendar and photos) went easier than I thought. After Apple denied fixing my iPhone 7 two separate times with two different reasons; “third party parts in unit”, and “abuse” to my in perfect condition phone with no third party parts, I called my insurance after Sprint told me that I would have to pay to replace it because Apple denied it. About six months ago, I cracked the screen on my cell phone that was insured by you. You covered it and I received my replacement in fantastic time! About six weeks ago, I dropped my phone down a hole in the ice while ice fishing. Once again, you were super fast getting me my replacement. Unfortunately, I made two claims within a one year period. I have been paying insurance for my phones for around 15 years and have only used it twice. I would like to believe that only making two claims in that much time would account for something. My coverage has been cancelled. Now, if the phone itself fail, through no fault of mine, I no coverage. Are there any options for me to regain coverage?

Filed a claim on 1/19. I was told there will be a kit shipped to me. Waited till 2/4. Reached out to support. Find out box never shipped. Was assured it will go out the next day. 2/15 reached out to them again. Was told it will not ship. It was not something they send out. I would only get a label and would need to pack it and ship it to them. Even so, I was provided with tracking # the first time. It's just that box was never shipped. To this day I don't have resolution. Was told someone will get back to me. This was escalated so someone will get back to me with 1-2 business days.

Asurion is a joke. Trying to get my moto z2 force replaced. All I get from them is excuses not solutions. They apparently don't have z2 for replacement. They want to offer me a LG phone or a Samsung. Well I bought a Motorola not a LG or Samsung. If I wanted one those I would have bought one. I chose the moto for the mods. So I am expected to cut my my losses on what I spent on these expensive mods. I asked them how I was supposed to use these mods on these other phones. As you know I CANNOT. So how are these comparable phones. They ARE NOT. It is the key feature. Comparable phone. Upgrade me to a moto Z3. They will not do this. They keep telling me there is nothing they can do.
I was told they stopped making these phones like it was supposed to be a big surprise to me. I'm pretty sure they know that all phones eventually stop getting produced. You are not going to push a phone on me that I do not like and expect me to be happy with it. How you stop screwing people and make it right. I am not sure what is so hard to understand, Motorola mods. Replace my phone people. I paid for your service. Owe up to it.

I filed a claim when my phone was stolen. A new one was supposed to be delivered next day but they put incorrect shipping info (despite my confirmation of correct name and address) was used on the package and it was unable to be delivered via FedEx. When I contacted Asurion, they would not contact FedEx to rectify shipment as FedEx recommended and instead insisted policy was to do a reshipment. However, they also claim policy was that reshipments did not have to be processed in the same time frame and I would have to wait up to 3 more days to receive my phone (now totaling 4 days.) I could tell they were reading from a script and would not acknowledge the mistake on their part. No one has been able to give me a straight answer on when my new phone will come. Not impressed considering the $34.99/mo fee paid through my AT&T bill to have next day delivery.

The shipping was very fast, with very good customer service, the box came with the label for return shipping and tape to seal the box. There were no issues during the whole process, Asurion has really stepped up their game lately.

Excellent and easy to process my request. I was able to submit right from my tablet and received my replacement phone in a few days. Awesome experience. I like the mobile protection from AT&T but I don’t see the value of me paying $35 for all my devices when the deductible only lowers after 6 months. I would rather it lower on each device separate even though it’s on a family share insurance. I will probably drop my insurance because of this.

I was confused by the website and did not realize I was ordering a replacement phone. I did not want a replacement phone, I just wanted my cracked screen fixed. I called customer service to talk to them to find out if there is a store close to me I can take it to get it fixed. Customer service told me they could not tell me anything because my claim had been processed. Which is total BS. Your customer service people need to be able to search by radius around a person's location. Finally I just called stores in Pensacola and apparently there is nowhere in the Florida Panhandle that Asurion partners with for screen repair. Instead of paying $300 for a refurbished phone, it is cheaper for me to take my brand new phone in and pay the $129 to get the cracked screen fixed.

The representative that I talked to was very kind and helpful with everything I had and needed to do. The process was easy and didn’t take long. They called and checked on my recovery and to make sure I didn’t need more time off. They also made sure I was back at work with a full recovery.

This has simply got to be the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. Long wait times, misleading and inaccurate information that was given in writing. One can't help but wonder if this isn't intentional. Simply put on Dec 18th 2018, I was granted a refund and told the refund would take 1-2 billing cycles. Well guess what hasn't happened? This is the first time I have ever dealt with Asurion and I have to say my experience is either a fluke, or the reviews on this site are heavily filtered. Details can be found below.
Received a refund request on Nov 29th 2018, it was **. An written acknowledgment that the device was received by Asurion on Dec 18th 2018 was given along with an indication that the refunded amount of $168 USD would be refunded in 1-2 billing cycles. I have saved chat transcripts for both these interactions. Here it is Feb 11, 2019 and a "new indication" that the return was "approved" and it would be an additional 1-2 billing cycles to receive this refund. It's only been 74 days, why hurry.

Everything went great. I requested Saturday delivery... but then was notified by the carrier that due to aaa airplane delay... my shipment would arrive Monday. I was annoyed... but NOT Asurion's error... I would NOT be home Monday to sign. I was freaking out. I would have shipped it to work had I known it was coming Monday. But somehow... thank goodness... it DID arrive on Saturday.

I am appreciative with my experience and the service provided me during my visit at the AT&T store. I have no problem with how I was treated although the wait was a little longer than I expected. I did need to create a iCloud password to retrieve information from my lost iPhone.

Asurion representative was very helpful. I was kept up to date with the process. We received the replacement device very quickly and I was able to activate easily. Asurion provided paperwork that made it easy to send back the broken phone. I would highly recommend.

Asurion not only resolved my lost phone issue they overnight it to me where I received the next day. There is also a reduction in the Deductible amount as it goes down per month that the insurance is paid so instead of $299, my cost was $149. Way to go! Thank you!

Process was simple once you get all the right info. Wasn't able to get my receipt for replacement without my company's Verizon PIN. No other way to authenticate even though I paid with my own credit cart. There should be other ways to verify.

AT&T representative helped me out with his professional attitude and knowledge. One of my phone was cracked and became unabled to use. The replacement phone was on time, everything had worked out. The replacement phone had took only a day to receive. After called AT&T representative which helped step by step instructions and stayed on the phone until the phone was back working. Asurion makes replacing a phone easy and fast. It is worth every penny to carry insurance. My husband is in construction and is not easy on cell phones due to his line of work. When he damages or loses his phone he has another the very next day.

My iPhone 6 would shut off intermittently. Assurance sent me a 6S in place of my phone and I received it on the second after filing the claim. Great job and I'm so glad I am using Asurion. It's very much a good insurance for phone troubles.

My phone arrived quickly, it seems to be working great, same issues I had with bluetooth with my last phone, but I'm thinking now that's just the first gen Pixel that has issues. Very easy and fast. Everything was as expected. The online site was easy to navigate and quick to complete. Phone was here within 48 hours. Deductible is figured according to how many claims you have had in the past 12 months I believe. It might be nice if there was an option to pay your deductible with a card other than having to charge to your monthly bill. Thank you.

I although a little pricey, I would recommend insurance coverage through Asurion. I couldn't load the online claim form, so I called instead and the help I received was great. No regrets, just fantastic service. Easy to get the claim for a replacement phone completed and the new phone came quickly.

Put in my claim for my phone. Options are through website or call it in. Accidentally dropped it and cracked the screen. I went through website, easy to understand and no hassle. Directions explained the procedure. Questions answered. My claim was approved and informed me my new phone is being shipped. Received replacement and shipped off old one.

My I phone 6 got wet, would not power up, I feel sure I have lost all my pictures and personal information... I have requested that upon receiving my wet phone that a Rep from the insurance company to save if possible and send to me, or delete the content of my wet phone, And I think if this happens that this company truly is worth every cent we pay them. My iPad was lost or stolen during a recent vacation. Within 24 hours of contacting Asurion a brand new iPad arrived and they contacted me to assist getting it activated and restored from a backup!
