Great from the beginning call to my delivery. The person on the phone was pleasant and personable and helpful. This was fast and accurate service. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast my device arrived. The information provided about how to get started and transferring information was also helpful.

They got me my phone very quickly and painlessly. The only problem I had was scheduling an appointment for the phone. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes before I hung up. I don't know I was going to be put on hold when I scheduled an appointment.

I had a shattered. I Asurion and they sent out A technician to repair my screen. The screen was the wrong screen. I call Asurion back and I was told I would be getting a new device with then within 3 to 5 days but I received the device the next day so I will rate my experience a 5. Thank you.

Everything is very prompt. However, for the coverage paid monthly and the insurance $149 deductible plus paying off the device, I really do NOT feel that it is right to give me a "refurbished" device. I most likely should have just taken the loss and purchased a new phone anyway.

Repairs were done very quickly. Received a new phone next day. Operator was very helpful and handled everything very quickly. When the phone arrived it was a new phone and not a refurbish one. All I had to do was put chip in other phone and turn it on.

They did very well. They ship my package to the wrong address two times before they got it right and sent it to my home address but really it wasn't their fault and once the address issue was resolved they got my new phone right to me!

I never have a problem when I submit a claim w/ Asurion, it’s always a smooth, quick transaction. The only thing I wasn’t happy w/ is that when I didn’t receive my replacement phone I called to see what the status was and they told me they cancelled my order because the color was out of stock. I should have Received a phone call, a few days without a phone seems like an eternity as silly as that sounds. As soon as that was corrected my phone arrived the following day.

The return process was very easy to follow and we got the replacement phone quickly. We appreciated the postage free envelope and how quickly I received an email letting me know the broken phone was received. The only part that was difficult was getting through to a person when we first called to make the claim.

My first package was lost and then it showed up 2 days after FedEx documented they delivered it. The staff at Asurion quickly sent me a replacement (which I am sending back) but gave me help all along the process and everyone was very patient. The people I dealt with were kind and reassuring.

Recently my husband broke his Verizon phone and for our insurance through the phone we were directed to them. I have spent over 3 hours trying to get through to someone then called back the next day and a lady helped me and we lost the phone call. I called back and someone named Ivan told me I needed to fill out some form and get it faxed in. I said I don't have access to a printer/fax. His exact words "well you're going to have to figure it out." I then asked to talk to a manager and he said, "Why would you need to talk to a manager? They won't be able to help you either."
I said, "Transfer me now please." His response ok "okay whatever." I then sat on hold for 15 min. I have never had so much trouble trying to get a phone or help with insurance on a phone. Complete waste of time. I would have been better off switching to a different company. I pay way too much for my phone bill and the insurance to have to wait on hold, be talked to horrible and still not able to get to the phone to deal with these people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

I tried to do online, but the phone listed for my son was several years old, I couldn't get anyone on the phone at all, tried several times, the only way was to do the online chat. So your phone customer service is terrible.

I was very happy with the way our claim was handled, and the quickness of receiving our replacement phone. The only complaint I have is your inability to record our street address in your database correctly. It is **. Your system keeps abbreviating Washington to WA. I've asked a number of times to have it corrected, and for some reason your system won't do it.

Could not have been easier. It took minutes to file my claim online. New phone arrived within 24 hours. Supremely clear/easy process to ship back my broken phone, everything included--packaging, label, postage--even tape to seal the box. Easy instructions to set up my new phone, and a toll-free support number with late evening hours I could have called if I needed it (I didn't). I didn't know what to expect, this was the first claim I'd ever filed. Made the experience of breaking my phone much less painful.

I have had bad refurbished replacement phones, back to back. I have paid for mobile phone insurance for many years, but never used it until about 9 months ago. I filed my claim for my defective phone (speaker wasn’t working) and received a replacement very quickly. I was excited I wouldn’t have to wait to have phone call capabilities again!
Well, my new phone with speaker issues was replaced with a defective refurbished unit. This one the screen wasn’t responsive and would lag terribly to the point that typing out a simple text or Google search took 2-3 minutes to follow through... I called and asked for a replacement instead of keeping it. They sent me another “new” device. Great! This one doesn’t have lag, but wait, the back looks funny. It’s pieced together with random parts. Like they didn’t even try to match the colors. The apple symbol isn’t flush with the phone but raised and sharp. Edge lifting. I brush that off since it “works” and I don’t want to call about another replacement. Sadly, just a day later the thing is practically on fire! It’s so hot I can barely touch the back and it won’t cool down. I turn it off, let it cool down and when I turn it back on it’s burning again. It just won’t stop.
I Call to have that one replaced... By this time I now have 2 refurbished phones at home waiting to be sent out and my old phone waiting as well. None work so I just do without. The next one arrives. It actually sort of works. The screen responds, it isn’t on fire and the color is correct. The battery doesn’t last as it was only sent with 80% capacity, but I was just happy the phone functioned otherwise. A couple days later, I’ve sent all the other phones in to learn that this one too has speaker issues. People keep asking if I’m on speaker or distant. Nope. Speaker just doesn’t work.
Well to avoid the fiasco I’ve just been through I deal with this phone for about 9 months and hope I pay down my installment to just buy a new phone. Unfortunately this one is slowing down, non responsive many days, lag can be terrible etc. I called to have my replacement replaced since it’s under warranty. I’m told if they find water or structural damage once it’s sent in I'll be charged for the full price of a new phone (yet they send a refurb!!!). No option to send in the warranty device either. I get my current phone checked to confirm no damage done by me and await my replacement.
This time it takes a week since it’s not an insurance claim but warranty. I get It, set it up, back the old phone up to my computer to transfer all files and contacts. The screen looks weird but I press on. I compare the two phones and realize this screen is very blue in comparison. Also poorly lit. Current phone next to the replacement is much brighter and vibrant. It’s like a permanent filter is set to the replacement. I check all settings for reassurance and turns out it’s just the screen.
Next I try to upload the backup and the phone keeps rejecting it. I think it must be a glitch or my computer. Finally get it to upload the backup a day later. I go to my photos and it indicates space is taken and even has the thumbnails (though blank) to prove so, yet the actual photo is missing. Try this process a bunch of times over. Important documents aren’t visible. Videos play a white image and “photos” are ghosts.
I try to correct this by airdropping the photos after deleting the backup photos. It cherry picks multiple to make invisible and then does the same with my apps. THEN, like I need to explain any more, this screen is unresponsive in the corners! So no moving apps, using or texting in portions of the keyboard! I GIVE UP! ASURION YOU WIN, take the money and hand a crap product over to people. Those desperate not to pay full price for a brand new phone think they’re getting a deal until they realize they’ve paid for coverage that doesn’t deliver.
When your car insurance pays out for repairs they don’t grab an old rusty bumper and tape it on, they don’t grab a used headlight from a junker and stuff it in! They repair the vehicle correctly or the cash value is used toward the purchase of a new vehicle when totaled. Refurbished phones are junk and the value just isn’t there for what you pay into your policy! I regret paying for this service only to find it has been anything but beneficial. Between my deductible and what I paid into the plan I should have just purchased a brand new phone! Terrible refurbs and no care in the world to make it right either!

I received an email that my item should be here about 9:30am. It was actually delivered sometime after I left at 10:45, but before 1:00. There was also difficulty getting the claim started, but I am not sure if that was AT&T's fault, or a combination of yours and theirs. Other than those two snafus, everything went well. Thank you.

Filled out a claim for my Galaxy S6 Active which got dropped in a puddle and would not turn on afterwards.... 2 days later I had a Galaxy S8 Active to replace it... Very quick service!!! Very smooth service. I had Absolutely no problems.

It was a great experience, no hassles and they sent my new equipment fast. I got it two days later after filing the claim. I have all of my electronics covered by them. Plus they had someone call to help set up the new iPad that I got and they also upgraded it cause they didn’t have the one I had in stock. So that’s worth it all In itself.

My iPhone 6 plus had a cracked screen, so I called to get a screen repair set-up and was informed that this was not an option for me b/c of the area in CA that I live in. I hadn't filed a claim in 19 months, so I wasn't very happy that not only did I pay the $8.99/monthly insurance premium ($170.81), I was now told that my only option for resolution w/ my broken screen was to file a claim which in turn was $25 more dollars than the screen repair option ($75 total) and on top of that I would also have to send them my old phone which I'm sure they'll end up fixing and repurposing to someone else for a nice profit.
Additionally, since filing a claim was my only option for resolution here, I would be forced to use my "Declining Deductible" for this minor issue when all I needed was my screen repaired. Now, I have to go another year paying 8.99/month before I'm eligible again to use declining deductible as an option. So if anything does happen to my replacement phone, I'll have to pay $225 as my next deductible (which is the same price I can buy the phone online myself).
Upon receipt of my replacement phone, I went ahead and mailed my old phone back to them in the provided box. I then went about setting up my replacement phone, only to discover that it had a defective volume switch. Now my replacement phone shutters back and forth between ring and vibrate without me touching the switch and it is stuck on silent/vibrate w/out the ability to leave the ringer on.
I'm going to now have to call them back and deal with this process again, all b/c they weren't able to simply repair my screen and they sent me a defective replacement phone. I think the worst part about this experience is knowing that I could've just skipped paying for insurance these last 19 months, taken the money that I used on my deductible and used that money to buy my own refurbished replacement phone but a better model (iPhone 7plus) for the same amount.

I easily contacted Asurion. Customer service was a positive experience. Received replacement phone next day. Had a glitch in that the home button stopped working while phone was being activated. Apple Care connected me with Asurion again and another replacement phone was ordered. However, the initial home button started working again so 2nd replacement cancelled.

I am completely satisfied now. I was a bit frustrated in the beginning because the first two replacement phones had problems, but I did end up with a working phone. I appreciate that they kept at it until I was satisfied. Also it was a very easy process. They were available to help me with any problems that I might have had setting up my new phone each time. I liked the ease of sending back the defective phone each time in the postage paid shipping container each time. I have an iPhone 7plus. It cost me 300$ to get it replaced. I had the choice of letting them replace my damaged screen by coming to my home to fix it and only paying 30$ but then they would not guarantee the waterproof feature of my phone. The customer service people were always friendly even when I was frustrated. I would still do business with this company because they worked with me until I was satisfied.

Representative was great and easy to use. Quick mail out and received quickly. Replacement already missing a volume key after 30 min of handling it to load items and it is lost. Not sure to keep or return. Should not be that way to break so quick not evening handling it long.

This company only cares about taking your money. I received a replacement iPhone for one that had broken from regular use, they sent me a refurbished phone, so you basically pay all your insurance fees and then your ridiculous 150-200 dollar deductible for a phone that is now outdated and then they don't even send you a new one.
So when they sent me my refurbished phone I had technical support tell me how to transfer old data to new one and based on tech supports instructions they told me to put old SIM card in new one and did not give me proper instructions on how to do it so SIM card got stuck into phone to the point the refurbished phone was unusable and then tried to charge me another deductible to get another refurbished phone after giving me poor instructions and tech support. Other companies I have worked with would have sent me a new phone no questions asked. Don't ever use this company for insurance coverage. Greedy company.

My Samsung Galaxy 8 has been giving me problems for several months and is getting worse. It takes 6 hours to charge, doesn't always hold the charge and the screen freezes up and I have a problem with hearing people I'm talking to with the volume totally up. I had my hearing checked. It's fine. It got to a point that I decided to have it fixed. I pay every month for this insurance. I went online to Asurion on April 2nd. I was told online I didn't qualify for a claim. I called Asurion and spoke with Melissa or Marissa who I felt talked down to me. She asked me when the date the problems started which I didn't know. It's a problem that has been ongoing getting worse. Also was the phone dropped or water damaged and I didn't know that either. It falls occasionally and could have had water damage.
She said that in order to put in a claim it has to have been dropped or water damaged so I said it was. And my claim was approved. I would receive a replacement on Wed April 3rd. Then she starts talking rapidly in a mumbly voice that I would be receiving an email with a document that I have to sign and return along with my ID and the cost would be $199. I asked her why was it $100 more than I expected and why do I have to fill out a form and send my ID when I was verified by phone. Why am I paying for insurance and on top of that being treated in a rude fashion. Teach Melissa or Marissa customer service techniques because hers stink. Unbelievable!

Claim entered on Wednesday 3/27 around 5pm. Technically I should have had a phone 3/28 Thursday. I gave it until 3/29 before I started to get worried. It's now 4/3/19 and I have no phone and still no tracking number. I have spoken with a different rep on Friday, Monday, twice on Tuesday and now again tonight. I continue to be given the run around. Everyday I am told my replacement phone will arrive the next day, nothing.
Yesterday I was told it was being processed manually and would be 3 to 5 business days. I was told I would get an email with my tracking number...no email. I called tonight and she tells me again that it will ship tomorrow? They have had my $100 co-pay for a week and I don't have my replacement device. To top it off, after I asked to speak to a supervisor this evening, she refused after keeping me on hold for 15 minutes and when I stated again that I asked to speak to a supervisor and that I needed to be transferred to speak with myself directly, she hung up on me. NOT COOL Asurion.

Tech was very knowledgeable and professional. The problem was not easy to diagnose and took quite a bit of time to eliminate possible sources of the issue. The phone would not process updates even after a reset to factory settings. The claim process went through very smoothly and the replacement was received in a couple of days. I am so happy that I kept my device insured with Asurion. When my phone just up and quit, I took it to the local AT&T store to have them check it out. It didn't take them long to tell me I needed a new phone. When I got home I remembered that I had been paying monthly for insurance on that phone. I went online and quickly filled out a claim form which was very easy to do. Asurion got back to me quickly and sent me a new phone. The phone was discounted and no shipping was charged to me. Updated on 04/06/2019: Finally got replacement phone and had to speak to a manager to get it activated, on my previous review they private messaged me for my phone number 3 days ago to resolve the issue. Guess who hasn't called me???
First problem: called to place a claim to have screen replaced on the phone 30+ min. Second problem: replacement screen had dark place on one side (should have made them repair it but didn't). Third problem: called on a Tuesday about getting a replacement device, was told to call back in 2 hours. System is down, called back was told system was down still call back in 1 hour, called back got the same thing. Finally got replacement device ordered the next day.
Fourth problem: replacement device won't hold a charge. Goes from 100% to 40% in a hour, called back. Was on the phone 1 1/2 hours and was told their system wouldn't let them reorder my device and to call back tomorrow. I told them to have a manager call me. Still waiting to see if they call. If I had a choice I would pay more for warranty with a different company, I have never dealt with so many incompetent people in my life.

I submitted an online claim and my daughter's phone was here the next day. I was able to do everything completely online and didn't have to go through the whole customer service thing. Everything went great! It was easy and simple.

Asurion's process is fast and easy. We went to the website to report our claim, they asked a few simple questions about the damage, we paid our deductible and we have a new phone the next day. Asurion is top notch and I would highly recommend their service.

I got my my phone the very next day. That was cool but I still feel like if we walk-in the AT&T store and our phone is broke we should be able to get one right there on the spot because I might be in another state and need my phone for anything but overall my service was quick.

The insurance replacement process was simple and so fast! The staff were helpful and process simple. I was delighted with how easy it was to replace my phone after I dropped it and the camera didn't work. I simply completed the affidavit and then submitted it online and instead of 3-5 business days, the replacement arrived on Monday after the claim was submitted on Friday.

The only problem I have is having to pay for a phone why it wasn't my fault that it stopped working. If I am paying for insurance I don't feel I should have to pay anything. The malfunction was not my fault.

Outstanding, first time I have had to get a replacement and I was pleasantly surprised. Got my replacement in a day and half dreading the process of saving everything to the replacement. Laid one phone next to the replacement and everything except my music transferred, and I understand that is an Apple problem.

I have had my phones replaced both through the web portal and through phone customer service. Both methods are relatively painless and only takes a few minutes (5 minutes or less in my experience). Just tell them what happened and what's broken and BAM! there's a replacement phone at your door.

I needed help with my phone today and through Verizon's website, I was put toward a tech coach chat screen. The employee there, Nathaniel, was very slow and condescending through the chat process. He told me that the voicemail app doesn't work unless wifi is turned off and cellular is on. This is not correct as I've used the phone many times with both wifi and cellular on. He said "well this is a different circumstance, it happens." His comments were like this throughout the chat. I asked him nicely to please refrain from the attitude. His response was "I don't have one." I asked for a supervisor to enter the chat or call or email me back. He said there was no way to make that happen and to call *611. So he was pushing me back to Verizon where he knew I wouldn't be able to lodge a complaint. I finally figured out that he didn't work for Verizon, he worked for Asurion, and that's why he had the poor attitude.
I've had problems before with Asurion trying to get information from live people. The chat forum never works. It always says they're too busy and to call their 800 number. This is after several minutes of taking information from me which wastes my time. So I have no way to email or chat them to file this complaint. So, my only option is now to leave reviews like this and contact the Better Business Bureau. I have yet to have a good experience with Asurion and plan to cancel all 5 of our phone line extended service contracts with them.

Phone delivery was fast. As far as helping get my iPhone active, not so much. On the phone for nearly 45 mins and the rep tells me that the phone is activated and that I had to take the phone to AT&T, because I got nothing on the screen. He dont not say anything else. Took it to AT&T and the salesperson had it on in 2 mins, it was a bad sim card.

Perfect 10 all around. I couldn’t have asked for a quicker and easier way to fix my broken phone screen situation. I chose to go the route of a new phone, and since I hadn’t made a claim before, they gave me a 50% off deal on the new phone. Finally, insurance on something that I see the benefits of paying all these years.

I've had Asurion insurance on my phones for the past few years and each time I've had mishaps or difficulties with the device their services were fast and easily accessible. Would recommend for coverage on your phone. They have coverage for other devices that I trust would be as reliable as their phone services.

I filed a claim and then called customer support to verify my claim went through with no issues. I then asked what to do with my broken phone and was told by the representative that I did not have to return it. I received no return packaging with my new device so I thought the information was accurate. I then spent $285 replacing the screens on the broken device. When called to get the phone unlocked, I was then told I had to return it and the information in was given was false. Asurion made no effort to rectify the situation. Now I'm out almost $300 and was basically told "oh no, the info you got was wrong, but thanks for fixing our equipment for free!" This company is very vindictive and manipulative and never have I ever been taken advantage of by company. Absolutely appalling..

The first claim-the phone was believed to have damage to USB because the phone would not download any upgrades from all suggested actions and was submitted as such. However, as prompted on the online submitted claim, Verizon suggested online to file as a warranty claim. Upon completing the claim as warranty, the representative stated if there are any damages on the phone we would be charged more - (than if we had submitted a damage claim) so, we called and had the claim submitted again as a damage claim. The representatives helping did a great job changing this over and not incurring issues with the return. It went smoothly. Thank you. The bottom line is whatever the appropriate claim type, we received a working phone and no additional costs were incurred, other than submitting claims time.
Suggestion: When the prompt suggests you file a warranty claim vs a damage claim (as the customer intended) & because the computer thinks you should based on your information provided, there should ALSO be an option to proceed with the damage claim anyway. This could be explained during the submission of the claim as well that if you do proceed with the warranty claim and damage is found, you may be charged more than the damage claim deductible. Then, the decision could be made on the customer side how to proceed. There was not and this created more work for us (your customer) as well as Verizon's.

Happy w/ the coverage and processing of the claim but when I look at the premium paid to receive a refurbished phone I have to question the value of the service. It would be appreciated to receive at least a new phone of the same model as the one being replaced.

Great timing, great pricing, thank you the screens of my son’s cellphone were broken and they sent me a new phone. I like the fact that I did everything online and it was very easy and friendly. Fair and fast replacement. Phone was just replace prior within 2 weeks and got damaged a second time. Delivery was within 24 hours, online claim was simple. I gave 2 stars due to the two "Customer Service" representative's politeness and, once the claim was approved, the speedy shipment of said replacement. However, not everyone has access to a printer/scanner to print, scan and upload forms just for a signature. That halted my claim for A WEEK, among a few other ridiculous "requirements".

Your ProTech team of Danielle, Mathew, and Talon went all out to be helpful but your advanced tech seemed as if he couldn't care less and said to call Samsung. Actually I was able to fix the 2 issues myself later the same night that I asked help on from him. Hopefully I don't find any more issues on the phone so I can send the old phone in soon since I need it to be sure the new phone is completely ready.

I needed to get my pair of gloves replaced after they ripped and I decided to file a claim with an agent. Never file with an online agent. They jack everything up, they decided it was a good idea to put in a random person's name. What am I supposed to do now? Waste of time and money!!! I can get anything done with this pointless system. Put in all my personal info and only my own and what do you know, some random person pops up.

My phone was stolen. I got a replacement phone the next day and they helped me get everything back that was originally on my stolen phone.
