My son did have a working phone within 24 hours. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are: His exact phone was "no longer available" so we had to pay extra to upgrade the memory or pay for the next generation phone. The representative, that helped with setting up the new phone, spoke to my son like he was an idiot. He is 24 with a college degree and has had a cell phone since 13. He mostly had it done by the time he spoke with her. Other than that, exactly as expected.

Customer service was friendly and efficient throughout the process. Filing the claim was simple and the replacement arrived the day after claim was filed. Much better experience than I have had in the past! Nice to see a company improving their service - doesn’t happen often in today’s digital world.

Everything needed was online to take care of the problem. I wasn’t aware of the copay for getting a replacement phone, but it’s better than not being able to afford a new phone. An improvement would be to download the form to an app that could be typed online and then submitted back online without having to physically print out the form and then submit it online.

The associate was friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I had my replacement phone in less than 48 hours, it probably would have been the next day but the initial call wasn't completed until after 6. The agent explained that they stop shipping at 6.

Great service. My claim was done in less than 5 minutes online with no issues at all. My replacement phone was delivered the next day with everything needed inside to easily return the damaged device. Would highly recommend to others. Fast, reliable, all around great service.

Phone was delivered timely. Expert assistance was available and helped with installation and retrieving information from my lost phone. Thankful for the accommodation and speedy service. When I finally received the phone all was good and smooth. The trouble was the run around trying to get help. 2 locations sucked. Twin Falls Idaho and the mall ATT in Boise Idaho and Apple store in Boise mall was useless. The only great help I got was Mattie at the outside store in Boise. She was fantastic. Without her I would have thrown the phones away and sought another company. She saved us all. Only thanks is to Mattie.

I filed my claim with the AT&T team in Barstow on my way back to Vegas and got my phone QUICK! Great service. I thought having insurance was not going to be worth it, but I am soooo glad that I got it.

I'm purchasing a DeskCycle 2 for a friend who is hospitalized. Couldn't get the sale to go through on his credit card so I am paying and he will reimburse. Asurion option came up for an additional $22 for a 3 year coverage policy and knowing my friend I figured I'd get it. However, it clearly says not available for "gifts." This is not really a "gift" but rather on behalf of a very disabled, blind, hemiplegic friend who is currently hospitalized. I have tried extensively to find a number to call or something similar to no avail. Their online customer help page appears to be malfunctioning so I am going to go back to Amazon right now and place the order for the exerciser and hope someone from Asurion might allow me to purchase the extra coverage for him once they review this. I had to file two claims, it was no fault at all of the asurion reps. The first package had gotten stolen. The lady I spoke with was kind and understanding. She recapped the call to make sure she didn’t miss anything. Great customer service.

Phone came overnight. Subthe phone arrived overnight. Customer service are awesome. Submitting claim form was easy. Only problem was deductible was very high. AT&T told me that I should have received a discount with Asurion. But I did not.

Great job, I got my replacement device the very next day from when I submitted my warranty request. Everything was great except for the protective packing sleeve used to mail the broken phone back to you guys was broken, I didn't have anything else to put in the box with the broken phone. I had a phone that would not hold the charge. I replaced the battery and it did not help. I called Asurion and they replaced my phone immediately. The rep was very helpful and professional. I will keep Asurion as my phone insurer on my three phones.

This was a stress-free process. Customer service was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Tech support was helpful with the information transfer. Phones arrived in two days which made having to be without our phones a little less painful. New phones are taking some getting use to be, it's fun learning all the new features.

I live in Chelan Washington. My phone screen broke, phone functioned. I called Asurion to find out where to repair screen. I was told to repair screen was 20 some dollars, which sounded great, but there were no service providers in my area to repair screen. Consequently, I would need to send/mail my phone in to be repaired, I can not be without a phone for 3-4 days. My husband has Parkinson disease and my daughter MS, I need phone. So, I reluctantly had to purchase a new phone to the tune of 150.00 or so dollars. I am not happy with this solution. I would like to be compensated in someway. I was penalized by my zip code.

Phone came completely dead. Took 1/2 hr to charge just to get it turned on. Could not get the sim door to open. Went to local AT&T store and they were able to open it and get SIM card added. Once phone turned on worked great.

The replacement was fast, was not happy with price. They said warranty just expired to large a down payment. Have never been pleased with AT&T but will hang in until contract is up then will change for sure. I cannot complain about customer service now but was lied to to make me change from T-Mobile, liked them better less for month.

Did not have a replacement s5. I never had my phone out of its otter box case and had to pay 75.00 for a used phone only 2 steps up, no choice in the deal, now I had to purchase new case charging equipment, etc. I think we should be given more choices on what equipment we get even if we have to pay a upcharge.

It took them more than two weeks to process my call, Can you really wait for two weeks to receive your phone? You should advise customer about these delays when they sign up for this service and also they ask a lot of private question in order to send you a new one like 1. How do you use your phone? 2. With who do you live at home 3. How much data do use per months? 4. What do you do on the phone mostly? 5. Do you have Apple account? And they also asked you to give permission to share all your information to many service providers in and outside United States, Avoid them and please let customer knows that they need to provide all these sensitive information.

Shipping and return process was acceptable. Contact on setting the phone was helpful. Waiting a few months to get a replacement for a phone that was no longer sold was a little discouraging. Once a replacement was available things were acceptable.

This has to be the worst server I have experienced to date and I'm 53 years old. My phone got knocked out of my hand fell on bricks and of course the screen cracks. I was first told my claim would take 8 hours and I would hear from someone. It has now been over 24 hours and nothing. I'm an IT professional and am on call 24 - 7 my cell phone is my life line. I'm lucky to know someone who had a spare phone that I could use. If not I would be sunk. This is not acceptable at all. More than 24 hours and no change on my claim. Not good!

Could not have been easier to make my claim. The representative clearly understood what had happened and worked with me to expedite my claim. Completed the claim around 1:30 Los Angeles time. Received my replacement phone the next day around 11:30 am.

The first phone they sent could not be activated - the IBI number was invalid. The screen was also cracked and chipped. They then had to start a NEW claim instead of continuing with the actual claim. I was told the SECOND phone would be overnighted and when it wasn't and I called, I was told they had to manually process the claim and it would take 24-48 hours and that I would have it the next day. Not surprisingly, still no phone. I called again and was told that it ACTUALLY takes 2-3 days to PROCESS manually and that we should have the phone on Thursday. I called back this morning to be told there is still a GLITCH in their system and it will take ANOTHER 2-3 days to process. I've been paying for my son's phone for an entire month with no phone for service. This is ridiculous!!!! DO YOUR JOBS - I paid my deductible and he needs a phone!

Phone is fine, good. I had a lot of difficulty transferring pictures and phone numbers. I had to go to a store to get everything transferred, and it was still difficult. Charger that you sent wasn't compatible with phone, good thing we had the original one.

I broke my screen and wanted a place to repair it same day but no were available. I had the new iPhone XR. So Asurion replaced my phone for the 29.99. I had a new phone the next day. The customer service were great they had my new phone working in minutes and called me back to make sure it was working properly. I would definitely recommend Asurion.

I was an ATT customer for years and refused to carry the insurance after a very negative experience with the "family" plan and not being able to replace a phone that was stolen. I know now that it was not your company that made the mistake. I am very happy with the service, and the speed of the replacement of my brother's phone. I had trouble submitting a the forms and finally after a couple of weeks I went to the ATT store and got them to submit the documentation. I wish the upload process was more user friendly. At least activate the submission t button and pop up the error so I can know what to fix to make it work. The store even had to try a couple of times before it would accept the information.

One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. I sent my phone to get repaired and a week later and over 5 hours spent on the line where I get hung up on and have to restart the conversation from scratch again multiple times, I finally get it back with a still broken screen because apparently an employee accidentally cancelled my claim. They then send me another bag to mail the phone back to them, which I do, and then I look to track the claim and once again it had been canceled and they have no clue where my phone is!
Now after another 4 hours on the phone with representatives they tell me to call back in 48 hours to see if they are going to be able to repair it due to the canceled claim, but most likely they said it will be mailed back to me and I will have to resend it...again. So pretty much I have been phoneless for almost a month and as a student who is working with companies and future jobs and being unable to have a phone for that long is completely absurd. I never knew fixing a phone screen could be so difficult. Can't wait to get my phone back and cancel the Verizon protection plan and replace it for AppleCare.

I received my new iPhone very quickly. I haven't had time to transfer my data over to the new phone yet. It's frustrating not to have the support I need. I'll probably have to hire someone to help me. I really don't have the tech skills to do it myself with phone support.

Service was prompt. My cell phone is working properly. The color is correct. The tracking was on point. My package was delivered to the correct address. The street was not spelled correctly the first time. However the represented corrected my address on the second delivery. I was sent the wrong device on my first delivery. The representative promptly resent the correct device.

It was tricky for me to fill out the claim forms online. Not sure why, but had to try several times. It's difficult to figure out the exact date of when your battery starts to fail when you didn't realize you had to know that in the first place. I finally got it right, and I received the new phone the next day, which was impressive.

My phone was stolen in Mexico, and I was able to get a new one in one day. Unfortunately, I was sent the wrong phone, but that was quickly fixed and my new one arrived in 2 days. The new phone arrived at midday the next day as expected. Returning the damaged phone was easy as usual due to the included and pre-addressed envelope. I would hope the deductible for the entire phone replacement could be lowered, but the insurance is always a good value because the premiums are reasonable and it is worth having the peace of mind that your most important device are covered.

I inadvertently sent my smartphone through the washing machine. I do have a group plan insurance for all of my devices, and I thought water was not covered. I went to my Verizon store to see what phones were available. I explained what happened and I was told it was covered by my insurance. I called the number for the insurance company to confirm the coverage. I told them my sad story and the representative confirmed my coverage and asked me if I would like to complete a claim over the telephone (advise me having to go to the website to file a claim). The process was totally painless and I had my replacement phone the next day. The rep I spoke with was courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak to. The computer part of the process was a problem for me. I did not have internet, and a printer with me. The library is closed when I'm not at work, and AT&T can't help customers with Asurion's business. After the trouble with the initial filing of the claim, it went good.

I spent 2 days and at least 2 hours on the phone trying to resolve an issue to get a replacement phone. Asurion will not let the AT&T representative stay on the phone so they could explain. If that was allowed, the process would have been handled the first day. I needed to DEMAND to speak to a supervisor to get the situation resolved. Everyone kept apologizing but doing nothing. After waiting on hold for an hour, the representative finally came back and said there was in an error in their system and the claim could be processed. This was the worse experience. Too bad there are no other options.

Asurion did a good job. The process was easy. The only complaint I have is the claim deductible is high. We pay a large fee each month and then the deductible is high. Probably won't be keeping the insurance. When I started it was $50.00 didn’t realize it has gone up to $112.00. I guess that is my fault. Oh well you live and learn.

I bought a pair of headphones about a year ago with this 3 year protection plan and they got damaged about 2 months after I bought them. I sent them in for repair and they fixed the cable and sent them back to me. Something they did in the repair process, or something else that happened to the headphones when they got damaged, changed the sound signature of the headphones significantly making them really bloated in the bass.
I sent them back in again, they turned on the headphones and said "they work," and sent them back to me saying there's nothing wrong with them. They want me to ship them in for a third time to inspect and they are going to tell me they turn on and nothing is wrong. They sell you this plan saying it's not a hassle but it is because they do everything in their power to not send you a new pair of headphones if they become damaged. I understand trying to repair it once, twice max, but asking the customer to send the same product in 3 times because you don't want to pay for the headphone replacement is unacceptable.

On Nov. 2017 we bought from The Home Depot a Samsung FleWash washing machine with Asurion extended warranty protection. The washer stopped to work on Feb 18, 2019. Reported the issue to Asurion, which opened a repair ticket on Feb. 19, 2019. On Feb. 21 Asurion sent a technician from Astro Appliance Repair. After evaluation the technician stated to us that he couldn't repair it. After calling Asurion to find the status of the claim, they send on a technician from Fort Bend Appliances Repair. He stated that this is recurring problem that Samsung has with this model of washer machine and that the washer must be disassembled in order to change the control board or modules and there wasn’t an estimated amount of time that this could take. Also he must take the washer machine to his shop as there is no space to work in the house.
Asurion response was to send the same technician from Astro Appliance Repair that told us that he could not repair the washer on his first visit on March 11. After evaluating the washer Machine for the second time, the technician told us that he needed to order the control board. He came back on March 19, installed control board and nothing. The washer machine still not working. I understand that new parts were ordered again because I called to ask. Asurion customer support never contacted me to inform the status of the claim. Absolutely bad customer support service from Asurion. Requested a loaner but I was told that option is not available. Today is March 25, 2019 and I have not heard from Asurion at all.

I pay every month for Verizon total mobile Protection. I need it a new front screen/placement device after mine was cracked. (VERIZON Galaxy S8+, summer 2017) I found it was cheaper to have their own "certified technician" expert come to my home to repair the screen. Wasn't told until in person my phone would never be again what I had paid for in total already. Aka tell me before anyone comes every single damn detail. Because I expected what I paid for! Taking the phone apart to fit with new front screen will render it never again water resistance. (Big deal, I dropped it in a puddle completely submerged in the water prior to this and not a thing happened to it.) I wasn't told this on the phone. To make the better decision for sending me a replacement.
I was warned before the tech even touching my phone, her words "I'm probably going to end up breaking the phone even more when I start opening it. The back of these Galaxy S8+ devices are all glass. Do you still want me to proceed?" Umm yeah! If I had had to send the device out to be repaired, basically you're telling me more than I need to know now. There's no way in hell if sent out I'd receive it back now with 2 huge cracks bottom to top. It'd be replaced, that's why you're here and you break it, you simply fix it. Not what happened. Didn't bother to check to see she had replacement backs on her until after of course and she did not!
To wrap it up, I was left with them destroying my phone during them being there to fix it. My grandfather was just passing away, I didn't feel like calling to deal with it then. I had to buy basically a $100 Life Proof Case to make it safe from water damage. Now that the case is looking pretty old I took it off a year + later now and I'm feeling angry as hell. What are the chances she actually noted she changed the back of the device. They won't believe me. Everyone knows the phone looks like day one from being inside the life proof case, until turning it over. Literally screwed outta how much it's worth for paying a professional to end up leaving me with it broken. She told me how to put a new back on it. No, it's you guys who do that. Not me!!!

I mentioned that I was going to upgrade my wife's phone and give her S7 Active to my son after it was repaired and the replacement was s7 Edge which I was not interested in giving to my son as a replacement for the Active. So manager made it to where he would get S8 active as his replacement phone. I appreciate it due to the fact that the Active series are more rugged and durable. They only would give me money back on one of my products. The other one they are trying to send me a bootleg refurbished phone that costs 20 dollars at Walmart. My phone cost me 140.00 out of pocket with a 50 dollar fee upfront for the phone. They are only giving me half of what I pay for. I asked the rep if he goes to McDonald's and orders a burger does he only get half a burger? He tells me they are giving me a replacement, but the replacement doesn't compare to what I had. This system is phony and rigged. If they don't handle this I am going to BBB and Attorney General and filing complaint a there as well.

Got an Apple Watch 3 series over a year ago and had become pretty attached to it. Between moving truck repair and everything else I was afraid I'd lost it. Spent a week cleaning house garage and vehicles in a frantic search for my missing device and was really sad because I'd thought it was going to be a total loss. Then I remembered I'd gotten the insurance so I called to see if they covered accidental loss. The online experience was quick and painless and even though I was going to have a deductible, seeing that it was reduced since I'd never had a claim prior I was pleasantly surprised to see what I did have to pay and the extremely prompt turnaround time was a very pleasant surprise. My phone was lost and I called to start a claim, I was asked to turn in paperwork, and when I did the replacement phone was shipped. I received it quickly, however, it seems to be turning off at times so I need to contact Asurion again.

Good service to help with my phone issue. When the repair on my cracked screen didn’t work, my device was replaced within 2 days. Once I was connected to the correct person, the process went smoothly. It was a bit challenging to understand the first AT&T representative due to a language barrier. The second person I spoke with was great. He connected me to Asurion and the issue was fixed quickly.

Had to send back the first one that was not a good phone, so far this phone is working fine. I was not happy that I had to go back in twice to the store and that I couldn't get a phone from the store, which would have been a whole lot easier. Have a supply of one or two phones to give people instead of waiting one, two or three days. It was extremely inconvenient!

It was very fast and easy to make my claim. My deductible was cut in half because I had not make a claim in over a year. The replacement was here the following day and was actually brand new! It was even 1 model newer with more memory too! Very happy with this company!

Asurion said they received my daughter's new phone back on 1/11, but they have a software problem and cannot issue us a credit. I have waited on the phone. Can still get nothing. Don't buy this insurance. She decided to deal with her slightly damaged phone and returned her new one unused. Asurion says they had the unused phone since January and it is now almost April and they won't credit it. One software system still doesn't show the return and they can't credit a lousy $112 to a long-time customer! AT&T is no help. We are moving to a new carrier.

AT&T representative was knowledgeable and provided me the information that I needed. Had a false start on the phone itself. Then went to the computer to complete my claim. Phone arrived as promised. Provided me with everything I needed to return the old phone.

It was a slightly tedious process but fairly simple to replace my son's stolen phone. I don’t agree with the cost, the $225 deductible is a bit high when you have filed a police report and remotely wiped the phone so it can’t be used but otherwise an easy process.

The process was easy and fast plus I received my replacement phone quickly. I did not have to speak with a representative or send a copy of my ID. I was able to put in my order for a new phone and it will be added to my phone bill and I did not have to pay for shipping.

Asurion processed my claim faster than I could have hoped for. I dropped and broke my phone at 7p on a Wednesday while I was working. FedEx dropped off a new phone by 11:30am the next day. Thank you Asurion.

The claim process was unnecessarily tedious. It took us 3 days to finally complete our claim (with no cell phone or fax). When the replacement phone arrived I could not activate it and had to drive 40 miles to an ATT store... No excuse for this. The cost was over $100... It should have been NO cost with the insurance we had paid for.

My original phone had screen replaced by Asurion. Replacement screen failed and I had a new phone shipped directly to my home. Unit came in 2 days. Easy to set up. Very courteous staff walked me through the process. So far so good.

I got a refurbished phone. I thought I would have got a new 1, but for a refurbished 1 it's in good condition. When I received it it was dirty on the back. Grossed me out. I just love my note phone. Thanks.

The first replacement phone that we received was a lemon. It would not connect to wifi or Bluetooth. On the positive side, we contacted customer service and a replacement for the replacement was sent out immediately. Customer service was very helpful.

Just got my daughter an iPhone XS Max Saturday for her birthday on Sunday. The kid was so excited she dropped it and cracked the screen next day. I filed for the claim - was approved Tuesday shipped on Wednesday and when I got home Wednesday FedEx said they delivered it and there was no package outside my door. How can they ship a $1,000+ phone and not require a signature???
I got the run around because I was told to make a new claim and then they close it because they flagged me and then I'm told make another one and I should be good after ATT had to call them and conference us all together. I think I'm on my 3rd claim since Wednesday and was told adjuster would call and leave a message or email me. WELL the other ones that were denied I still never got a call or an email and they just make it seem like they don't care. I just want her to have her freaking phone and I can't do a damn thing about it because I have to wait 24 business hours.N= Now my child has to travel come Monday with no cell phone. Unbelievable!!

I can't say I'm pleased with this phone at all. What frustrates me is that I've paid for insurance every month for when my phones breaks. I received my phone at a timely manner and it worked for a day or two. Then I noticed that it does the EXACT same thing my very broken phone did: restarting randomly, battery drain, kicking me off wifi, media device disconnected. Why have I paid you all this money for another broken phone. I use the phone for everything: work, school, life so I had to spend more money on data because my phone can't hold a wifi connection for more than 4 minutes. I'm not sure what you guys used my money for all this time but I will 100% not be paying for insurance on any other phone ever again. I'd rather pay more money for a new phone and have ZERO headaches.

Appreciated the replacement process. Was simple and easy to complete. Only problem was on re-programming all previous material.
