    Getting the phone replaced was easy. However, having to pay a 150 deductible seems a little high since my phone is pretty old. There is a galaxy 10 and I have a 7, I think the deductible should be under $100.

    Spoke with Cielo twice. Both times was very rude! Especially the first time. Had issues with their accidental damage warranty. Sent me a different colored phone. "It's in their fine print." They charged my credit card the full price instead of the $80 dollar replacement fee. I had to call in and deal with terrible customer service to get the refund. I sold said phone then attempted to transfer the warranty. Their procedure for doing this online does not go into the hassle of the details & forces you to give all your personal information to the stranger you sold the device to. (Not always a safe thing to do). Would never purchase or recommend their warranty to anyone. Unfortunately in Canada they seem to have a monopoly on Warranties outside of Apple.

    The service is fantastic. My only issue was my replacement phone didn’t work. I loaded everything on my new phone. It wouldn’t take calls. I went to Apple. They sent me to AT&T. AT&T said the phone was broken. It was almost impossible to get through on the phone to Asurion. When I asked for a callback, they called me back, but didn’t recognize my “1” being pressed and hung up on me.

    I called back (as the website informed me that this function couldn’t be done via web). I finally reached a person. My phone was “not in stock” so I had to wait 5 days for a working replacement, and also wouldn’t get my color. (Shouldn’t be a big deal, but isn’t the gold prettier than the silver?) End result, I hope, will be a working phone. So still, this is an excellent service. They send you a postage paid box to send your damaged device back. Very nice! I’m grateful I have this insurance. The only thing is I wish the phone service was easier to use.

    Bought washer from Home Depot in 2015. Took out extended warranty never thinking we’d need it. Repair company has been out several times, replacing part after part, sometimes multiple times. Error message won't go away. Now seven weeks later, four trips to the laundromat, and still not working. Asurion won’t replace. More excuses. Moral dont bother with an extended warranty, or buy a Samsung appliance. Not a happy customer :(

    I purchased Device protection from AT&T, the protection is actually provided by Asurion. I cracked the screen so I made an online claim. A date was made for a tech to come and repair the screen at my home for about $50, Great! No one showed up, no one called. I contacted Asurion and they have no idea what happened, "Let's reschedule" they say. I ask, "What if they don't show again?" "Let's just reschedule. Or for $160 we can send you a replacement phone." I tell them, "This is your fault. Not mine." "You can send the new phone for $50", nope, let's reschedule. Next available date is 2 weeks, What? The ad with AT&T says Fast Easy Replacement.

    I call AT&T, not their problem, they wash their hands off the issue. Called Asurion again, I tell them this is wasting my time, what if the tech doesn't show again, what will you do? They tell me that if after 3 no shows we can discuss it. I was not happy with them and had to purchase the replacement. Horrible service, you're obligated to comply with them, even though I had already paid $300 in insurance fees to AT&T.

    Asurion robs people, they switch your phone to a "comparable" device that costs YOU MORE to replace. They will switch your tear and tell you that it will be the same price. You don't get informed that the price is changing. The price was $20 now $149. Thieves! If they would have told me that it would be $149 I would have cancelled and saved $480.00 that I paid them over the last year. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They sent me to the CEO's secretary and she just kept repeating herself until she hung up on me!

    I am horrified that I submitted a claim via phone with Asurion and was promised a phone next-day, only to find that my credit card number was fraudulently taken down. The employee I spoke to on the phone claimed that after I gave my credit card number, the payment was complete and all I would need to still complete were two verification documents and the claim would be submitted. I submitted the required documentation and still, no phone that next day or the day after.

    I called Asurion again to see what the hold up was, and sure enough the previous employee had fraudulently taken down my number and lied that the payment had been processed. Apparently there was no such record of my payment being processed, and Asurion did nothing to try to accommodate the situation. When I told them about the dishonest employee, they responded with absolutely no sympathy and sounded like they didn't plan to do anything about it. Horrifying really that they wouldn't care about a situation like that. I won't use them again after this claim; very unprofessional and now untrustworthy.

    $2000 LG TV bought 1.5 years ago through BJ's, OLED panel. Barely used since it is not main TV, horrible burn in on over 50 percent of the panel. Had purchased a 3 year extended warranty to cover "mechanical, factory defects". 1st call, service center assigned, appointment made. Tech never shows to appointment. Call tech, response a day later, send me pictures only. Pics sent. Tech agrees panels are defective and will replace. Tech disappears for 1 week. Texting and messages are left for several days. No response.

    Call Asurion, give me another service center. No other service center available in NYC/NJ! Ok, will call in 48 hrs but tech upon receiving cancellation calls back. Ok, call Asurion, a supervisor tells me that tech will not fix it! Tech says it is a lie, supervisor reopens it, another appointment made for no reason, tech does not need to show up.

    3 days later, Asurion calls they will not approve it. I ask what you consider a mechanical or factory defect, how many hours is burn in possible to you? I have not left a TV on for 4000 hours as in testing, if anything one single night left on did this. I run out of patience. Told them TV will be in the trash, BJ's membership of 30 years rescinded. There is no consumer protection in this country and these 3rd party companies only scam you out of more money for a bad product. Class action lawsuits are the only solution left, get ready LG.

    I filed a claim for my cracked screen and was sent a replacement phone February 25th 2019. When I got the phone I noticed that the lens on the camera was cracked. The phone still operated fine. It didn't bother me. I use an OtterBox so the phone is spectacular otherwise. I did not call them to send me another replacement because the phone operated perfectly fine so I noted it on the survey they sent me asking me how they did and left it at that not thinking it would come back to bite me later. Last 3 days the phone has been having screen color issues.

    Obviously something is is amiss so I called Asurion to have them send me a replacement phone because it was supposed to be under the 1-year warranty but they'd told me I can't unless I pay $150 again because the phone is defective and I explained it came to me that way but they can't take my word for that and I asked him to pull the survey completed because that was within 7 days which is supposed to be when you have to notify them that the equipment is broken which I mind you says nowhere in any email they sent me. Nowhere in the box that they sent me the new phone with did it say anything about that.

    Only thing mentioned was there was a one year warranty not that it's void for this, avoid for that. One year warranty so imagine my frustration when I call them to be told me, "We can't replace your phone because it's defective." This is not how you conduct a good customer service. I thought it was about my satisfaction. Definitely not satisfied and it didn't pay for me to ignore the simple imperfection on the phone when I got it because now I'm screwed without a phone unless I pay another $150 to get it replaced which mind you I paid in February to get this one replaced with a new phone like I had. They're ripoff artists and they don't care about customer satisfaction and they're not out for taking care of their customers either.

    Our initial claim for a device repair was accepted and we were 'sent a box' to put it in and get it to Asurion. But due to their error, it was sent somewhere else that we have never lived or ever had a billing statement sent to. After the FOURTH phone call, most of which are 45 minutes to an hour long to resolve this issue, our initial claim was closed (again, due to THEIR error), and a new one was opened on their end on our behalf.

    Then we we were told we needed to submit additional documentation in order for it to be approved, when before it was not requested of us and so I called AGAIN to ask what the heck was going on. When I finally got ahold of a representative, she tried to confirm our address and again, it was an incorrect address – and a different incorrect address than the first time. None of these are associated with our AT&T account or given to Asurion by us! How INCOMPETENT CAN YOU BE?

    After the last email from Asurion requesting us to contact them again, we were told resubmitting our paperwork was for ‘security reasons’, which I found to be a hollow attempt to keep making us waste our time after already having spent at least 12 hours dealing with our claim. I requested a call back from an adjuster or a customer service representative before I spent additional time doing everything for the third time.

    I received no call from anyone at Asurion, not a manager or adjuster. There was no explanation as to why our claim was accepted, then after their mishandling of everything from sending the box to the incorrect address that A) has never been on our AT&T bill, and B) was never given to a customer service representative by us, and C) was not the address entered on our claim.

    I want to know why Asurion thinks it is our responsibility to fix their errors and incompetence. After reading reviews of how Asurion handles claims, I find this to be a common issue with the company. I am now in the process of filing a formal complaint to the Pennsylvania Consumer Services Online (CSO), and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), about the mishandling of our claim. This might help them get it together, but I doubt it. So, save yourself money and wasted time and the headaches.

To my surprise when I called because I had not received the email

    they told me I was not cover because I had lost one piece of my three piece set therefore my airpods are no longer cover. Beware of what you're buying. What they are promising is not true.

    Do not buy Asurion insurance for your phone (we had it with AT&T)! You will never get the service you pay for! We had been paid for our 4 phones $52 every single month for the years. SO when I broke my phone and needed just glass repaired, we spent 4 days submitting and resubmitting claim by claim with ZERO results. And responses were always different. Probably, would be significantly painless if we just repair it for full price or just buy a new phone, instead of paying that useless insurance for the years. Conclusion - we discontinued the insurance.

    On the RETURN ENVELOPE for the phone, the following wording exists: "Remove the battery - Return only the phone." It took me a little while but I finally opened the back of my SAMSUNG GALAXY 8 to remove the battery. I did not know these phones came with a PERMANENT BATTERY and when I opened the back, it blew up and caught fire - I had to run and remove the phone outside, it had filled my home with smoke and set off the smoke detector.     On or around April 7th, my iPhone 7 Plus suffered a catastrophic failure of the Logic board, per Apple Licensed repair shop. I have a child in daycare, so fortunately I had an old Verizon Samsung S6 stashed in a drawer. I pulled the SIM from the dead phone and placed it in the old Verizon phone so that I could at least make and receive calls. I called Asurion to start a claim. The rep all but called me a liar because his system showed a Samsung phone, not an iPhone (apparently he did not hear the part where the iPhone was permanently broken). He made me call AT&T. AT&T looked back and found the IMEI (plainly iPhone 7 Plus 128 gb). I called Asurion and filed claim. Next day they canceled it, but didn’t contact me about it.

    The day after that I filed a new claim. This is where they got stuck on iPhone 7 32gb device, and it took three people in two states and an hour to get them there from the Samsung. They canceled the claim this time because they couldn’t correct it. A week of back and forth goes on because there is some kind of hold on my address. This important because every single time I’ve spoken to them over the past two weeks, there has still been some kind of hold on my address. We finally get through to them that the device is an iPhone 7 Plus with 128gb of memory (Yay!!!) and their website reflects this. I work my way around a couple more ‘holds’ over the next few days and they finally sent me a phone. A silver iPhone 7 32gb, despite the fact that their system has the correct phone in it. I call again. They see their error and immediately ship an iPhone 7 128gb phone with apologies (I use return label to return phone).

    Yesterday I open the second package which they sent overnight express, and see the much smaller non-7Plus phone and I immediately called them back. They promised that they would send the proper phone with all haste and assured me that they were sorry for this error. Today I received an email stating that they need me to call them. So I did.

    They will not send me my replacement phone unless they receive one or both of the phones they sent to me in error. They acknowledge that this entire three weeks of angst and frustration is their fault (they are so very sorry), but they will not make it good, they will not expedite my phone replacement, they will not give me a coupon, nothing and I have no recourse. Their poor training and infuriating policies are not MY emergency. My lack of phone is my problem. The money that I spent to insure my phone is my problem. I expect rapid resolution of my issue, not three weeks of dissatisfaction/annoyance when I spend good money on insurance. Asurion is a bad company, and AT&T needs to find a better vendor for its insurance product.

    Their "policy" is for the deductible to be 1/3rd the value of a phone. They don't give you a new phone for that price, you get a re-manufactured phone. So...if you pay this for a year, and pay your deductible you've paid for the phone twice. Don't pay for the insurance, just sign a new contract. This company is a ripoff in every sense of the word.

    My phone had been causing me many troubles. Just randomly turning off, not keeping charge, dropping calls with 3 bars, often freezing up completely and taking forever to do simple tasks.     I lost my iPhone X around 3 months ago and I called Asurion for claim my phone. They took all the information they required and refused to claim my phone after one week. The very bad thing is that the customer service representatives are not ready to give me reason why they don't give me new device. Strongly recommend you guys not to go with Asurion, Don't pay Asurion for nothing.
