I moved from California to Texas, and my car was older and I didn't want to drive it. My daughter arranged the transport with Sherpa and she seemed very pleased with them. The driver was fantastic too. He was very nice and friendly. I stood there and watched him. He took a lot of care with my car, putting it on and he delivered it fine.

Scheduling with Sherpa was very easy. It was an excellent experience as far as getting one car from the Pacific Time Zone to the Eastern Time Zone. They were able to pick it up right when they said they were, and it was dropped off exactly when they said it was. The car was in the same condition it was. The drivers were all excellent.

Sherpa has an easy website to use, and they have clear information. They were the cheapest, too. Once they picked up the car, I got an email that said it was picked up. From there, I got the estimated time. When it arrived in Texas, again, it was a smooth process. It was an easy, fast and efficient experience.

Sherpa's rep was phenomenal. There was a teeny hiccup where I removed a car, then they kept the old file open and they said they were ready to pick it up. But I told them that they already did and dropped it off. But customer service-wise, they handled everything. When they picked up my car that Friday, by Monday, I had my car already. So they were pretty fast. The driver was didn't speak English really well, but I knew my car was safe. Also, what they quoted me was what I paid.

The Sherpa rep was good and gave very clear instructions, and so it was smooth. He answered all the questions that I had, so there was no problem. The only thing was I really wanted the shipper to come Friday even though it was kind of fast. I said, “Well, I'll be lucky to get it Friday.” The guy called me on Thursday morning and said, “Hey, I can come Thursday.” So, it worked out fine. It was not a big deal because I was gonna spend Thursday cleaning up the car. I just shipped it dirty. The driver was very impressive with how he handled everything. We met him at the pickup place and he gave us instructions and expectations of what our experience may be, and gave an estimate of when the car would be dropped off. We had his cellphone number so we were able to keep pulse of where he was. He got there on Tuesday, when he said he was gonna be there.

Andy's Transport was prompt, courteous and professional. The car was picked up at the agreed time and they called me two and a half hours before delivery to let me know the estimated time of arrival which was correct, almost to the minute. They unloaded the car before they knocked on my door so that I was able to do the inspection of the car immediately. They took good care of our car and it arrived in good condition. The driver (Andy) was very pleasant and made sure that everything was correct. I would use them again. Thank you.

A somewhat unbelievable experience: my driver was such a pro. He was incredibly easy to communicate with, the pick up was smooth and get this- he met me at the airport with my car 3,000 miles away. I landed, he texted me that he was there and had the car unloaded and the AC on when I rolled up with my suitcase. I would call that the gold standard! Thanks Roman!

Sherpa got back to me expediently. The customer service was excellent. I got a quick response and a quick quote. Everything was black and white in terms of the service and how the service was provided. There was a point we had scheduled the original contract company they contracted, and they delayed the shipment. So, kudos to Sherpa, within a day, they were able to get another shipper contracted. It worked with the timeline. The shipper was fine. He was professional, did what he needed to do, and he got it from point A to point B. There was no issues on that end.

Sherpa was terrific and their customer service was excellent. The driver worked with our son who was at the pickup and our son said it was a breeze. Then, just as planned, the driver arrived here in California. Everything went perfectly. The most difficult part was getting all that cash together because they do cash. Other than that, Sherpa is the only company I would ever call again and the only company I would ever recommend.

The rep I spoke with was very informative and it was straightforward. He explained it to me and the transport was like he said it would be. Sherpa got the vehicle here in the time that they said and it was a fixed price. We didn't go back and forth.

The person I talked to at Sherpa Auto Transport was super helpful. They couldn't find a truck right away, but once that truck was found, it was super easy and fast. The pickup was with my father-in-law, and George was super helpful. He gave me updates. The drop-off was right by my house.

Easy process and great experience. Getting quote online was fast and easy, and quote was reasonable (lower price than competitors who were not as highly rated). The driver was communicative and kept me posted as needed. Left Seattle on a Wednesday and vehicle was delivered to VA on Saturday; very fast delivery and vehicle was in perfect shape. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again if in need.

Everything went smoothly with my transport with Sherpa. The driver was really good. They took the car from Florida to Colorado. The truck had some mechanical problems, got stuck in Texas, and we ended up having the car dropped off at a site in the Denver area. We went to that site and picked up the car. The cost was also okay. But they were the most expensive.

I liked that with Sherpa, I could pack my car with furniture or whatever I wanted to up into the window. The customer service rep gave me my time frame window and told me what I could and couldn't do and made it very clear. He’s excellent. The transport took four days. It was under the amount of time we expected, and the driver was wonderful.

Setting up the transport with Sherpa was all online, which was wonderful. I booked it and then at one point, I had a question and I emailed them. And they responded within the hour to my email. The driver was great and showed up when he was supposed to. He gave me a heads-up the day before and the day of and was professional. He did a good job.

We shipped two vehicles from Atlanta to Las Vegas and I chose Sherpa because they had fewer complaints of all the transporters. Customer service at booking was excellent. Everything was explained fully. Pick up was confirmed a day before and arrived exactly when promised. Delivery was actually earlier than the time frame given but exactly when the driver indicated. No damage, friendly service. My transport could not have gone smoothly. I highly recommend Sherpa!!

No issues, great communication and on time, would use them again. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the destination time and location. They called with updates to keep me informed and no surprises. The only thing to keep in mind is the car will need to washed depending on how far the distance is for delivery.

I made the mistake of asking for a few bids on the internet and got flooded with texts, calls, and emails with a wide range of "quotes" from over a dozen companies. Some ridiculously low bids prompted me to started researching, where I saw horror stories about bait-and-switch with "quotes" being nothing more than an "estimate". Sherpa was not one of the companies soliciting me - I found them while reading reviews. Sherpa didn't have the largest number of reviews, and certainly wasn't the cheapest, but they were reported to honor their quotes. Communication was good, and the quote was honored.

We selected Sherpa Auto Transport when we had to move a car because of their "Price Lock Guarantee". We learned that most Auto transport companies are brokers - which is fine - particularly if they are good at communicating. Sherpa was excellent at communicating with us throughout the entire process. They did not call repeatedly as I was pricing out companies (like some other companies did 10 times or more!). Plus Sherpa gave us a quote, and then guaranteed it. They seem to have absorbed and extra $75 for our transport when the driver they selected priced the transport a bit higher. I would definitely use Sherpa Auto Transport again should the need arise.

Looked at a lot of reviews on the web and narrowed it down to 3-4 vendors. Sherpa was not only at the top of the list, but they were also the lowest overall cost. Always a bit skeptical about partial payment before successful delivery, but it worked out fine. Agreed to contract at 8a, they had a driver by 1p, car was picked up by 5p, and it was delivered by 11 the next morning. Driver & enclosed delivery vehicle were top notch.

The process was painless and easy. I was able to communicate my schedule requirements which had some minor changes that occurred after initial booking. Everything went without any issues. Drop off was easy and pickup was easy as well. I would use this service again without any hesitation. I was able to use both phone and email to help with communications.

Sherpa was not the cheapest service but the reps were able to explain why they weren't. They didn't sound like a fly-by-night company. They had been doing it for a while and they understood it. I asked the reps a few questions and they answered them. They gave me a window and told me I should be contacted in this many days.

The service was very professional. The contracted driver was communicated well and delivered to car a couple days early. Overall the service was excellent and good value for the money. I would highly recommend the service to others. I would recommend going with covered transport for your vehicle as that is important given weather conditions.

I checked around and with the comparable price and the convenience of setting everything up, it seemed like it was a lot easier process with Sherpa. I had a very good communication with the rep who set up the transport. They told me that it would cost a certain amount. They took a payment over the phone and told me what I would owe when they show up with the vehicle. Everything was exactly as she said and there were no hidden surprises that I was hit with. The only thing that I wasn't 100% on was having the truck picked up and making sure the money is cleared. That way I didn't have to push the shipping date back any more. But they were very good and I felt good about the process.

As a military service member we are moving cross country every two-three years and we always ship one of our vehicles. Sherpa is the only company we have never had an issue with. The rep that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and professional. It was quick too. So it was good. Then they called a third party and got a quote, and it was approved. The driver called me and said, “Okay. We'll be happy to pick up your car the next day.” For the delivery, I gave him the address and then he got the car. I checked it very quick. Everything looked good. It was a great service. I would recommend it. I'll use Sherpa again if I need it.

The rep on the phone had tremendous customer service. It was not a hard pushy sell and they were informative, answered all my questions, and spent a lot of time with me on the phone. It was a very good conversation and the price lock was appealing. We were present when the driver came to Austin to pick up the car. He gave me two hours’ notice that he was gonna be there. It was received by a family member at the delivery location and that went well and within the timeframe that they said, even on the earlier side of it. They were quick.

We needed a quick way to get our car to a location in a timely manner. We had never had a car shipped prior and heard that it was possible. Sherpa came through in getting us an excellent driver. They were very knowledgeable and helpful on the phone. Picked up my car within a week and delivered to my house quicker than they quoted. The transport driver was very friendly and courteous. The car transport price was good as was their service. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends.

I'm sure Sherpa Auto Transport is also a broker, but I thought they were a shipping company that I was talking to, and they would offer these low rates. I based everything on that when I bought the truck, thinking, "I can get it shipped for $500." But when time came, they started telling me, if I picked one, they said, "We have to put it up on the board." And it would automatically go to a true price that they never told me. They would always imply they sent me estimates. "We'll ship it for this."

It took more than what it should take for the pickup. Sherpa was very picky to decide when the pick-up was gonna be and they gave me an eight-day window but they didn't pick up the car until the next day after that window and it's because I called. I didn't hear from those eight days and on day nine, I called Sherpa and asked about the status. They started moving pieces when I said that and they managed to find a carrier that day. They told me the car will be picked up wither the next day or the day after that and indeed, it was picked up.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I did everything online and I was contacted the following day by someone from Sherpa who asked a few questions. Subsequently, the driver contacted me when he was en route and let me know that he was heading over to pick up the vehicle. They gave me a timeline which they exceeded by a few days over a holiday weekend. Other than that, the driver let me know when he was heading towards my home. I could not have been more pleased with Sherpa.

Sherpa was able to locate a contract driver that could get the vehicle here quickest. I wasn't familiar with the whole dealing with a broker and then a subcontractor type thing. But it all worked out. It was a little bit of a learning curve. My experience with them was fine. It was just like it was advertised. The experience with the driver was top-notch as well. The driver was a really nice young man and super helpful, too. But it was quite expensive.

Sherpa is highly rated, was incredibly easy to work with and found me the best price available for coast to coast delivery. Pick up and delivery were seamless and driver was great. Sherpa Auto Transport seemed to be the closest available at the moment. I called them up, told them from point A to point B. They said they would have a truck there and would deliver between certain dates, which they did. Also, the driver was fine. He was funny because he was an immigrant. He was happier than hell to be here in the United States. Also, what Sherpa said the quote would be, that's what it was.

I bought a car in Texas and I needed a way to get it here to Florida where I live. I searched around and Sherpa's website was very professional and well put together. Then, I saw at the end of the website that they had many reviews and they had great ratings saying that they are credible, reliable, and trustworthy. Their prices were expensive and when you pay something expensive, you’re gonna get something good quality. The setting up was pretty easy. They connected me to Mustang Transport, the carrier at the time. I got in touch with their manager and then their manager sent me the number of their driver. Once I was in touch with the driver, it was great because it was directly to the guy who had my car. He would text and let me know where he's at, how far, and stuff like that. Everything seemed intact when the car arrived and from the videos that I got beforehand, it seemed pretty much identical to how I received it. The driver could have been a little bit more gentle unloading it but he did his thing and nothing was wrong with the car.

Everything was really good with my experience with Sherpa. When I signed up with them, it was really clear. The numbers were right and accurate and the process was very simple. Very responsive employees, too. The driver was really good. He called me before time and made sure that he was there on the exact scheduled appointment. Sherpa is trustworthy. People can just forget about those online reviews about transport in general.

Door-to-door smooth service. I shipped my car from Miami FL to El Paso, TX. Picked my car up July 13 and got it dropped off July 16th. A bit on the pricey side, I paid $1650, but my car came in one piece which was my main concern.

We would have appreciated if the pickup would have occurred during the agreed time frame. Vehicle was picked up 2 business days earlier from the start date of the time frame. Overall it was a positive experience, though.

They picked it up on the 15th and I got the vehicle five days later. They told me when it was gonna show up and they were right on the money. The driver was a nice guy. I gave him a $50 tip.

The whole process was very straightforward. Someone called from the sales team to discuss the pricing. The information that was provided was accurate. The timeline and the cost were explained. They did a good job. The driver during the pick-up preferred to have a place where he can access more parking space. We had someplace near my house. So, I drove to the place and then he filled out bill of lading form and inspected the vehicle with all the damages that he could see. So there was pretty clear communication. It was very, very smooth and fast. There was peace of mind in working with Sherpa. The cost was very economical. They also gave me another $100 discount on the mail-in rebate, which was fantastic. I was not expecting but that was good as well. I will definitely do business with them again if I have to.

I needed to get a vehicle from Pennsylvania to Texas. The driver that Sherpa got for me came right to the house and he was a little bit hard to understand, but we were able to communicate. He showed up when he said he would and they had it where we needed it when they said they would. They picked it up from my son's house in Pennsylvania and took it to my daughter's house in Texas, and it worked great.

He answered all my questions on the phone and was professional most of the time. The pick-up was in Albany, Georgia and the drop-off was in Redlands, California and it took three days. Given the weather we had, the transport was good. He was towards the late side but that's not late, there were thunderstorms. He told me he was gonna be late and he came on time. On the other side, when he dropped the car off at my brother's house, it was very easy. Because the weather in California was cooperative, he showed up on time. It was a good experience with Sherpa.

Going with Sherpa was easy. I was able to do it online and get my quote immediately. Then they put me in contact with the driver. The driver reached out to me and kept me updated throughout the process with an ETA and where to meet. He did the same for my daughter on the Phoenix end as well. They reached out a couple of days before and said, "We're probably gonna be there this day." Then they called again the day before and kept us updated so we would make sure we were available. I was impressed. The cost was cheaper than what I was expecting.

Received quote and accepted. Within days had transporter contact and pick up vehicle. Drivers very professional. Vehicle quickly delivered all the way across country in a very short period.. I was moving to Tallahassee and I have two vehicles, so I could only tow one behind U-Haul. I used Sherpa to transport the other one and they had a price-lock promise which was very beneficial. It was a little bit more than I was hoping to pay, but at the end of the day, it was what I needed. And it was within $100 of the best price I could have gotten without all the hassle of spending hours trying to get that price.

Sherpa responded quickly. It worked out well with their reps. They shipped my car from LA to St. Louis. They had to pick up at the Long Beach Park then they dropped off at a residence outside of St. Louis. The drop-off guy was very cooperative. I like him. He took good care of me. He told me what was going on. He called me before he got here. He told me where he was and what spot to meet him at. He was on time. Part of the deal was I was able to turn a thing in to get $100 back at the end of it. The rebate made it a good deal.

I didn't get a confirmation that the car was gonna be picked up and who would pick it up until a few days before, but they kept contacting me and telling me, "We're working on this. He contacted me when he was en route and when he was close. I gave him a meeting point and he was there right on time and unloaded. I was very satisfied with the pickup and delivery. They kept in contact with me leading up to and during the transport. Everything was delivered on time and in good condition. The price Sherpa quoted was the price that I ended up paying.

I used Sherpa two years ago to go from Boston to Florida, and they did a good job. This time, I needed to move my car from Florida to Ohio. They came at a more competitive price. Great experience in transporting my sedan prior to moving across the country. Sherpa was able to secure transport within the window assigned to me at the quoted price even though the route was not one that was frequently traveled. It is not easy to call and reach someone at Sherpa, but if I emailed they were always quick to call or email back. The driver, Christian, made the experience very pleasant as he communicated with me via text to give me an idea of ETA 1-2 days ahead of time so I could make sure I was able to pick up the vehicle. I did a little bit of research and one thing that I always do is always look at the reviews and the past experiences of customers as a factor in my determination. When I went online and did a little research about Sherpa, a lot of customers were overly satisfied with the quality of service they provided. I completed the online questionnaire and submitted that. In less than 24 hours, somebody contacted me to discuss the particular details of the car transport.

I liked that Sherpa Auto Transport would lock in a price for me and that price wouldn't change. If there was a difference, they would make it up. Also, they explained the entire process to me and put me in contact with the driver. From there, I talked with the driver and planned everything out as far as the drop-off and pick-up. He was very cordial, professional, and handled everything without issue. Everything was perfect for me.

I called to get a quote and Sherpa Auto Transport set me up. They told me the time, and how much it would cost. We got it done that same day with our phone call. I have the ease of mind knowing that my price would not change. It was an incentive to use Sherpa. Also, the time range they gave me was accurate. And they were ahead of schedule. The earliest day they could pick up, they came that earliest day. They just took my car and drove it to one of the bigger streets because they weren't able to get into my neighborhood. They were able to get my car. And when I went to pick it up, I had to meet the driver at a big street, but it was only a few minutes away from my new apartment.

When I contacted Sherpa, I got a quick response. The customer service was good enough so that I continued. They were very responsive. Within a day, they let me know who was gonna be picking it up, which was fine. I had to meet the schedule of the transport person because Sherpa doesn't do that. They're a broker. So, I had a clean hand-off to the transporter and it went seamlessly. In the end, the transport took a little bit longer than I would have liked, but I can't blame it on Sherpa or the transporter because he had his schedule already set out. So, I was fine with it. I'm very happy with the end product. But the $300 fee for what Sherpa did was a little bit on the high side.

Sherpa was great. I'm going through a messy divorce and they really helped me. When I had to reschedule, they were okay with it. They worked with me really well. They let me put stuff in the trunk. From what I read, a lot of companies don't let you put anything in your car. But Sherpa helped me with that and they didn't add any extra. The driver was very friendly. He was down in Tucson the day when my sister and I had flown there from Iowa. He made it up to Mesa and called us that evening. We took my car over there. He loaded it up and got it home in about two and a half days.

Sherpa's reps were very professional and friendly. They called and emailed me and they were on the ball. When I received information and it came up a different amount, I called them back and they were very helpful in telling me what to do. I just needed to go in and refresh my page to be able to see the correct figure that is what we agreed upon.

I called Sherpa and set up the details, gave them everything they needed for the transport. They pretty much handled the rest. The cost also seemed reasonable. I only interacted with the driver during the drop-off, but everything went smoothly.

Their customer service was really good. We emailed a little bit, and then talked to one of their people over the phone. They were super helpful, and texted me, so I could just text the representative whenever I needed a question answered. Their price was also really good relative to everything else I was looking at. They also kept their price lock promise. What they quoted me is what I ended up paying. I was there when the vehicle was picked up, but it was delivered to some family of mine. I gave them my family's phone number and they were in contact and let them know when they were arriving and it went smoothly. The driver brought it direct to them.

Sherpa's customer service was good. They kept me informed the whole time. They let me know what was coming up, what was next, and with them, they brokered a transport company and they let me know everything about the transport company that would be picking up the car as well. Also, they told me what it was gonna cost, and looking at other transport companies, they were about in the same ballpark. I was informed along the way as to when the delivery was going to be, and it was going to arrive on a Saturday. Then as Saturday got near, they narrowed it down to the hour. The delivery worked out great. They said, “Can you meet us here?” I walked down and picked it up, and it was ready.

They explained the process well. The transporter that they contracted was very good, on time and delivered the vehicle without a scratch. I had to meet them somewhere else, but it was voluntary on my part because my new home is in an area where the streets are very narrow and a lot of trees encroaching. We couldn't get that big truck through. Their service was satisfactory. I was just very happy with what I got for the money. I would recommend Sherpa.

I called the number of Sherpa and the rep was really nice. He explained to me the process. The driver was also very nice. He kept me well informed. He pulled up beside my house and opened the back because it was an enclosed transport. I checked it out and made sure it was like the pictures he sent me and like the pictures the person I was shipping it from. He backed it out for me. He even put it in my garage for me. It was very simple. I would recommend Sherpa to anybody.

My experience with Sherpa wasn't a bad experience. It was a new experience for me. I wasn't quite sure how things work. It took quite some time for them to get a driver. But once the driver got assigned to my vehicle, everything went smoothly. Everything was easy and self-explanatory. They walked me through any questions I had. The communication with the driver was also relatively good. He kept in contact and let me know everything. I would do it again now that I know all the circumstances.

Sherpa was excellent. The driver picked up the car and left, and eight hours later, I met him on the highway and took the car and left. The car's condition was excellent. It was in a enclosed car carrier.

I told Sherpa what we wanted and our pickup date, and the rep just gave me a price based on the dates I gave him. The driver who picked up the car was great. We weren't there for the pickup. We were on the other end for the drop-off and he was great. The initial quote has been on track. The only thing is we gave them a window, said we needed the car picked up between these five days but we were getting close to the deadline and we weren't getting anything definitive that the car was gonna be picked up. So, I was getting a little nervous that there hasn't been anybody specifically assigned to us. Then, we got somebody assigned to us and he fell through. So, my only complaint was that I felt like I wasn't confident they were gonna come in the window that we had assigned. It all worked out, but it was a little bit scary there.

I had multiple representatives from Sherpa, but they were all equally effective. Once I settled on one of them to make confirmations, everything was exactly how they said. The Sherpa team was straightforward. They had a very good insurance policy and a very good track record. So, it was easy to lean on. The driver was fine. They gave me updates. They picked the vehicle up one day and dropped it off the next day. It had some dings and scratches on it that were from the dealer probably. The driver was very helpful in scouring the car looking for any other things. A couple of the scratches were identified prior to pick-up and were documented appropriately. Then some other ones were on the hood from presumably a car wash, but I have some evidence to prove that that's not from shipping.

Setting up the transport with Sherpa was super easy. The only thing was going online. You just put in the information, you can set it up through that, but it made me call anyways, which is fine. It just made it sound like it was gonna be an easy online process. Honestly, calling was probably easier and better because the lady I talked to was great, super helpful, and gave me all the information I needed. The transport from Colorado to North Carolina took about four days. It was a lot faster than I thought it was gonna be. I got a call that they were gonna be able to drop the vehicle off in the third day. The guy had some issues with his truck. So, he just called me and asked if we could do it the next day. It was still a lot faster than I thought it would take.

I picked Sherpa because they were the only ones that answered the phone and said their company name and they have the price lock thing where people aren't gonna get charged anything extra, because I read a bunch of horror stories about that. The Sherpa guy was nice. They were a bit more than some of the other places, but none of the other guys that answered the phone even said the company they were affiliated with. They were rude on the phone as well.

I have used several services to transport vehicles cross-country over the years and Sherpa was easily the BEST. The company kept us informed all along the process, pickup and drop off were well communicated and executed, and pricing was very competitive with other firms. I will use Sherpa for all our future needs and recommend them highly.

Sherpa's transporter picked up my classic car as scheduled, on time in California and delivered it in Illinois in three days. Perfect move and car was in same condition as picked up. No better than this! The quotation and ordering system is simple and easy. Customer service is also first class.

I called Sherpa and spoke with a gentleman for a while. He told me the transport would be put out for bidding. They were clear and told me that there was a 90% chance that I would get a match. I spoke with Sherpa about the meeting place and then, they sent the driver the meeting place. He texted me when he was a little bit out and then picked up the car on time. I had it delivered somewhere else and someone that worked for him called and told me to expect a date a couple of days before, and then he contacted me a little bit before. The driver delivered the car and sent me pictures to confirm the delivery, and did some payment methods that worked better for me. The service was good and I was very happy with the driver. He was excellent. I liked him. He was very professional and we appreciated him.

Sherpa worked hard to get a good pickup/delivery window and the driver they contracted with to do the car transport was very good. The dispatcher I spoke with on Sherpa in particular was great. On time and contacted me so I knew exactly when he’d arrive. There were no surprises or problems. It was definitely a positive experience.

The customer service reps from Sherpa were super helpful, very forthright and transparent. It was great. The pickup point was in upstate New York and the drop-off point was outside of Los Angeles, California, and I was given an original estimate of five to seven days. But the delivery took only five days, which was sooner than we expected. We were out of town and we ended up having a friend meet the driver. The driver was a non-English speaker, so it was a little bit tough on the communication. But in the end, it was fine. The quote was high but given that it was a referral and it's a difficult industry, I went with it.

I've used Sherpa in the past and they always do good service. I still have their number on my phone still. The car that I shipped only took about four days. It was from California to North Carolina. If I ask about the status, I don't get anything until maybe about a day out or a couple of hours out. The driver met me in an open parking lot to pick up the car and he made sure there isn’t any scratches on the car. He looked at the top of the car and also took pictures. And everything was well when the car arrived. The driver got there quicker than I thought he was gonna be.

Reviewed and contacted several auto transport co, was not happy with any of the reviews or conversation I had with the reps. (First time having cars shipped). The quotes changed constantly, and reps were eager to get credit card info. Reach out to Sherpa and admit was a little skeptic because they answer all my questions, explain the process thoroughly and gave a binding quote which the other transport co. did not do. Sherpa rep was very patience and honest when answering questions and did not rush me to make a decision.

I had a great experience with them. Setting the transport up was quick. They contacted me a few days before that they're finding the driver to pick up the car. Once they found the driver, they gave me just enough time. We lived in a neighborhood where a big 18-wheeler can't come in, but he was able to park it pretty close where I could just walk by. The driver was nice when I went to drop the vehicle off and when I picked it up. The inspection was done accurately. Also, the quote was reasonable. I was happy with everything. Sherpa made the process easy. They gave a lot of information about when things would happen, the timeframes I would be expecting, what to do to prepare the car, etc. They were helpful. I got in touch with the driver the day before the move. He called me again the next day and explained exactly where he was planning to bring the moving truck on the street. He suggested how I could bring the car around to there. He ended up arriving right when he had said he would, and it went well. Other than a bit of oil had dripped from the car above, there was no damage or anything that a carwash couldn't deal with.

I have used auto transport shipping brokers twice in the past, and in both of those instances, I had less than satisfactory experiences. When I recently needed to find an auto transporter to transport a Jeep about 400 miles, I did some online research and discovered Sherpa. Even though they were highly rated, I had low expectations because of my past experiences. I must say that I am so glad that I found Sherpa, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing to ship a vehicle.

The reps were delightful on the phone. They tried to get it all set up for me and they reassured me they could get my truck shipped in time. Everything was beautiful. The only thing was I was put in a bit of situation because I wanted my truck shipped a week earlier. I gave Sherpa three weeks' notice, and when it came time for us to leave Florida, my truck wasn't shipped yet. They were supposed to be able to do that, but they couldn't find a driver. As it worked out, it wasn't a big deal because my neighbor was very generous and took care of the pickup for me. The driver was good. He picked up my truck and had it in New York two days later in perfect shape and on time when he delivered it. We were in Maryland at that time, but I have a very good friend that owns a gas station garage and Sherpa was able to deliver it there with no issues. If I do this again, they are first on the list.

Their contract was a closed contract. Most of the contracts were open where I did not know ultimately what I was gonna have to pay. Also, their quote was higher and it was almost too high to take. But I elected to pay more in order to be sure that was a closed-in contract and not leave myself exposed. The only disappointment at the other end was that the delivery man was not able to print off a delivery document for the recipient. It required me to go back in and request that. If you're looking for the low-cost provider, you need to look around. But if you're looking for a deal where you know what you're getting and somebody capable and competent to safely deliver your vehicle, then this is a good choice.

Our son graduated college and got a job in California. Our first thought was, “How do you move your child across the country?” We did TONS of research on how to transport a car and narrowed down to three different carriers. After one call to Sherpa our kind was at ease. The people at Sherpa were absolutely wonderful. They kept in contact with us and answered our questions very quickly when we had them. The driver was very nice but was a little frustrated trying to find a place to park to deliver the vehicle. He communicated throughout the transport, but I felt like there should have been a longer window. Because when he called to say he was in the area, I was not in the area. He had to wait for me to get back. So it caused him to have to go out of order with what he was trying to do for the day. But he got the car here in a reasonable time period. He did a good job. The person on the other end, that was trying to line up the driver did a good job too and met the expectations. I would use the transport company again.

The car was parked close to a dealership on the side road. It was very close to where I was located so it was within 10 minutes to go there. When I got there, the driver was there and he walked around the car and did a thorough inspection. Then, he put it on the transport and brought it in. My husband received the car and he thought they should be able to bring it in to the house. But the driver went to a dealership fairly close to our house within 10 minutes and John picked it up there. So, it was a very easy process. The transport took two days but they did it within the time frame. It was professionally done and Sherpa delivered what was promised.

It was easy setting up the transport, but the time that was given was delayed a couple of times because the driver got delayed in traffic. But it was the same day. After I had this car in Florida, I like it so much that I had to bring it back to Philadelphia for the summer season. So, I contacted Sherpa because they had done a good job bringing the car down to Florida back at the end of December of 2022. I gave them a window and they said the driver would contact me a day ahead of time. I was leaving for the airport at 10:30 and I told the driver that we could meet by then, but he said he could not. So, I had made arrangements to leave the car, and he picked it up at around noon that day, about two hours after I had left.

Had an awful experience 2 days prior to scheduling a pickup with another company. Explained how important it was to the rep from Sherpa and every effort was put in to find a carrier. Pick up and drop off were great. Only complaint would be the carrier did not completed the drop off at the house, which we have had over 5 other transports delivered without any problem. However, we were able to find a close secure location.

I met the driver that Sherpa hired in person. He was a little bit delayed by a couple of hours but he was awesome. The experience was exactly what I expected. It was way more expensive than I had anticipated. But I understand the way it works. I had called several other places, and they're very similar, unless you deal directly with the driver. I found out what the driver was being paid and what Sherpa charged me. They have a triple digit mark up. Next time I'm gonna try to reach out directly to another driver.
