I bought a brand new Mazda CX-50 and needed it transported 1,200 miles. I went with Sherpa Auto Transport based on the reviews on Google. It was either that or another company. Everything was great with Sherpa. The communication was fine and I was happy with the quote, which was what I paid. The driver picked up the car Thursday night and I had it Monday night. He called and told me he was an hour out, then the car showed up in one piece and it was fine.

I was moving from Florida to Texas. Sherpa came recommended, so I hired them to transport my vehicle. Their customer service representatives were good. But the quote I got was confusing because I got way too many. I got one, then when I called back, I got a higher one. Then I was told that if I paid cash, I would get a different one. The quotes got higher and higher as you talked to them in the process, and I didn't like that process at all. But the delivery took four days which was earlier than promised.

I had in my trunk some baggage and it had an AirTag, and I noticed that the truck stopped for two days at some location in Raleigh. I have a feeling it was the guy's residence. Fortunately, I didn't need the car, but under normal circumstances, I would have expected it to be delivered more promptly.

We decided to transport it back and used Sherpa because of the price, and they were able to transport it when I needed it transported. Setting this transport up was amazing. I would do it again. They were very accommodating. The driver was always in touch with me. When the car got back to Boston, I was still in Florida. So, my son met him down the street to pick up the car. The guy was amazing.

Second time using this company and have nothing but great things to say, they always deliver my vehicles ahead of schedule and there's no random fees that pop out of nowhere. Everyone is very nice, polite, and diligent. Wouldn't recommend any other service!

I was shifting to a different location and I wanted to ship my 2022 Toyota Camry. I explored around four to five companies before deciding on using Sherpa Auto Transport. I liked the price lock policy that they have and it was not a bait and switch, which I've heard happens a lot in the industry. They gave me a realistic price range that really helped me make a decision. Their reps were professional and helped me in each and every way. There were instances wherein I thought I had forgotten something in my car, and they were very helpful in getting me connected to the driver.

Sherpa's communication was very good. Unfortunately, a few days before our vehicle was to be picked up, the truck of the carrier they had assigned us to broke. So they assigned us to a different one at the last minute, but it turned out to be fine. But it was a little dicey when they said, "Well, this new company doesn't work on the weekends. You might not get it until Monday," which was two days before Christmas. So that was gonna be unacceptable. But then they delivered our car on Saturday. So I don't know why they told us that. But everything went well.

Everything was great with Sherpa Auto Transport. I hired them when I was moving across the state and I had to transport my Hyundai Kona. I looked at a couple of companies but Sherpa's pricing was good. Their reps were wonderful and easy to deal with. Things went smoothly with them. The quote was great as well and the final cost was even better. During the delivery, their rep took pictures and she delivered the SUV to me just as I hoped it would be, in one piece. Also, the transport took less than four days which was really fast.

I shipped my daughter's Nissan Altima through them from Dallas to Columbus. Both my daughter and I interacted with the driver in Dallas when she gave him the car. Then the guy got here the next day. He called me at Christmas night. So, he got there way quicker than I thought. He called me and then we set up an appointment the day after Christmas to pick up her car. They did everything right. Plus, how we got the car back was as they got it. I would recommend Sherpa because once we set on everything, we were set. Their customer service was good.

Sherpa was recommended online and I would strongly recommend it, too. The pick-up from Roseville, California and drop-off to Fort Lee, New Jersey was scheduled to take around a 5-day timeframe, but it took 10 days instead. Apart from that, all was good and as expected. The driver was great, too.

We took pictures of our car, and when it was delivered, it was in the same condition as it was picked up. The transport took only three days. That was awesome. We were surprised they could deliver very fast. The driver was very professional. The only issue I had was when they were trying to pick up the car, they didn't give us a 24 hours’ notice. They just gave us few hours of notice and then said they would come by and pick it up, but we were not ready. It's better to give a firm 24-hour notice as they say in the website. Otherwise, everything went fine. I would definitely go with them if I need to transport a car in the future.

I've continued to use Sherpa and this is the fourth time that I used them. We have a home in Portland and a home in Florida. So, we wanted our cars moved. Setting up the transport was easy. I called and made arrangements. Our transport organizer was nice, knowledgeable and willing to negotiate. Because we were transporting two cars, I felt like we should get some discount for that and he had to do some checking and got back to me.

When I spoke with Sherpa, there was no pressure. They told me how the whole process went and asked if I had any questions. The quote that they initially gave me went down because we added our military discount. Sherpa is a brokerage and they find independent contracted drivers. After reviewing and checking with the Better Business Bureau, they investigate and make sure that these companies have insurance, they're licensed and that they're reputable people so that they can refer me to them. I gave them a couple months' notice. We weren't supposed to ship until the middle of December but then I called them up and I said, “Hey, we can ship any time.” So, they upped the time, and we were able to get it locked in on a company within two days.

Sherpa had reasonable pricing, and the communication was brief and pretty straightforward. However, I didn't love that Sherpa outsourced the transport, but the fact that the reviews and the pricing matched up right, we went with them. When Sherpa signs you up and once you agree to the terms, they say, "Hey, we'll have to find somebody who's gonna secure your job, but we won't necessarily up until a day before the appointment." So there was a lot of uncertainty initially. That almost made me say no because I didn't wanna be stuck with not being able to ship the cars. The guy that I talked to said, "99% of the time, it's all fine and you get word before that." A couple of days later, they found somebody who was gonna contract our transport.

I usually hire a gentleman that drives it down back and forth and it's a little bit more expensive, plus it puts miles on the car. The transport took less than two days and they drove right to my home from the dealer. It was an 11-hour drive. The driver was very good and nice. He tried to accommodate us as much as I was trying to accommodate him having a larger truck. I knew it wouldn't fit on my street, so we worked together and came up with a common spot to meet.

Sherpa was recommended to us by The Villages in Florida. We transported two Buicks, an Envision and an Encore with them. The price seemed fair. The driver contacted us and arranged a meeting spot for the pick-up at a large parking lot because our home was not suitable for the truck to get in. We met them there, and they loaded the truck. It went well. We weren’t here to receive the cars when it was delivered. There’s a little bump on one of the cars, and the person looking at it didn’t see it. But we’re all set with it. The transport was very good.

The price quoted was what I paid no add ons. The pickup and delivery were also within the timeframe quoted. The shipper contacted a pickup of within 5 days of order acceptance and mine came in at 2 days. Delivery quoted was within 5 days for the travel from and to destination. Mine came in at 5 days. Pickup door to door could not be done due to narrow streets and DOT restrictions.

Unprofessional and rude management: The manager assigned to me insulted me and even cursed at me when I asked for updates. This is completely unacceptable.

I called Sherpa and talked to a guy named Scott. I liked him, so I decided to go with them. The transport service itself was good. My car got there safely. I didn't have much time. I know that Sherpa had told me who they were contracting with would give me a call 24 hours in advance, and they called me that same day. They wanted to meet at around 1:30 in the morning to pick up the car. I told them that was not gonna work for me. So, he asked me if 7 o'clock that next morning would be better for me, and I said it would.

I was concerned whether they can help me find a driver in time and also whether they will have some damage to my car during the transport. By search online, I found that Sherpa has a lot of positive reviews and I see very little negative reviews. So, I finally decided to use Sherpa. They gave me a quote, and then I agreed with that price. It is acceptable. The pickup and delivery of my car were very timely. They directly brought it to me.

Sherpa's price lock promise was good. Their customer service was fine. I live in a neighborhood where the truck would not be able to come into, so I met the transporters about a mile away. I had to because the vehicle would not fit in this development. It wasn't their fault. My experience was better than I expected.

She read some stuff online how some carriers will change the fee after they've made it out here. The fact that the fee was gonna remain the same was what made her lock it in with Sherpa. Sherpa's overall service was great. I had a great driver who was very friendly. I didn't have any problems at all. He stayed in communication. The only thing is the location tracking app should be improved. It never worked properly. I really couldn't track my car and do the location like you should be able to check in. The tracking is horrible. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints. I like that when I call customer service, I was able to speak to someone on shore. That was important to me. So, I'm very satisfied. I will use them again.

I just didn't fully understand that they would be subcontracting out. I knew Sherpa was a broker but the company that they subcontracted out to subcontracted out to another company. The Sherpa people were really nice, pleasant and straightforward with everything. They were basically by my side throughout the whole process of getting my vehicle shipped. The process was swift and easy. I have no complaints. They picked up the vehicle in Hawaii then let me know what was going to happen. I met them at a known road, and I picked it up from over there. The communication with the driver was great. Sometimes, I'm a little bit iffy on folks, if they could drive my type of vehicle. I drive a manual car, so once I get to know the person and get to see that they can drive the car, it’s great. The quote was very accurate. I paid what I paid and everything was done easily. The car was in the condition I brought it to them in.

I felt that the communication could have been better. I had to call the driver to find out when or if he would arrive because it was so late in the afternoon, I didn't think the driver was coming so I took initiative to call. I had moved another vehicle probably a month before and it was a great experience. And so, I called the company to do it again. But this time it just was not going well at all. I was having a problem with them. Sherpa came up when I googled and doing it with them was easy. I had no problems at all so it was great. The driver was okay. I took pictures of his truck and we walked around the vehicle and made sure what kind of dents were there and then he went on his way. The vehicle got delivered promptly, exactly when they said it was going to. The price was excellent. I was almost scared it was too low.

Sherpa did a good job last year, so I did a repeat this year. I had my car shipped from Sarasota, Florida to New York State. I set it up online, but I would have preferred to speak to a human about it. It was a little unsettling to do it all online and not to be able to speak to a human. When I called Sherpa, no one ever answered and I didn't like that aspect. When I had questions, I had to send it in a chat box or a message and it was answered. They gave me a window of 5 days. It was picked up on a Thursday in Florida and I received it on Monday in Delmar, New York.

In other words, they're mostly a broker and they're dealing with truckers. And those truckers, when they're completely empty, they'll charge very low prices. As they fill up and they have one spot left, they like to charge a premium and other companies pass that premium on to you. They say it was 900, then they call and say, "Well, we can't do it for any less than 1,050." Sherpa guarantees it. They hooked me up with a good driver and truck. He was very courteous.

When they gave me a quote for transporting my vehicle, it fell within the expected price range. The experience with the delivery driver was also very good—pleasant and respectful.

My niece took care of contacting their customer service, then I met the driver who delivered our vehicle. He was satisfactory, no complaints on that front.

Sales was helpful and responsive. A minor communication error between sales and scheduling caused a little confusion, but was quickly resolved. Same driver did pickup and delivery for the 850 mile move. Mario was professional and respectful for both. He was very attentive and cautious in loading, securing and unloading my vehicle. Price was appropriate and exactly as quoted initially, move was in 5 day window selected and vehicle arrive with no damage at all. Would definitely recommend and use again. This was my first auto transport experience.

I must say that so was worried at first about using Sherpa Auto Transport but after that fact that my car was transported safely and quickly!!! The price was unbelievable lower than other companies! Anytime I needed to speak to someone they were there to answer all of my concerns! I will tell everyone that Sherpa Auto Transport is the way to go. The quote that they give you is it! No changing prices!

My experience with Sherpa was very good. I was going through a busy time and trying to coordinate everything with my daughter and my ex‑husband. There was a lot going on, but they were very patient. If I asked them to call me back in half an hour, the representative would call back.

Sherpa arranged transport of our truck from Amarillo, Texas to Cave Creek, Az. Sherpa picked up the truck on the requested day and delivered 2 days early! Definitely recommend and will be the first transport carrier I will call if needed. Driver was very professional. It could not have been any easier.

We had a great experience. Our Sherpa rep made us feel comfortable with the level of expertise and making us feel like a valued customer. We were impressed with Sherpa’s reviews and A+ BBB rating and they validated that rating during our personal experience. We called on a Tuesday and by Wednesday our car was on the truck (we beat the end of season Florida rush home!). Our driver, Robert A, was fantastic and did everything he said he’d do. A seamless A+ operation from start to finish. Will definitely use them again.

Agent I spoke with on the phone initially was upfront and transparent about the whole process and the exact cost. The car was picked up as scheduled and without incident. The driver was helpful and very professional. The car was delivered ahead of schedule and also without incident. I would happily recommend Sherpa to friends and family. I think the price was very reasonable, perhaps not the cheapest, but if I paid a little more it was worth it for the peace of mind and superb service from start to finish.

This was the second time using Sherpa Auto Transport and both times have been effortless and truly great. Both shipments were cross country. My husband chose Sherpa and he did most of the scheduling online. The only part that I did deal with personally was when they called to tell me that they would be picking it up, and then when they let us know that it was gonna be delivered.

I had my son’s car transported since he went off to the Air Force. His car was in Colorado, and he was at tech school in Mississippi. I signed up online about six weeks before I needed the service, and a bunch of people contacted me. I was overwhelmed. After I did some research online, Sherpa seemed to be the most reputable because they had good reviews. They were not the cheapest, but I felt it was more important to get the car efficiently and in good order. When I called them, they seemed very professional and explained everything very clearly and kept me informed along the way.

I tried a transport company before and they were horrible. They tried to raise the price on me the last time and they didn’t do good. Because of that, I got the 10 best moving companies. Sherpa was number one, so I went with them. I had an excellent experience with them.

The driver was professional, friendly, and did his job well. The price was very competitive, and that’s why I ultimately went with Sherpa. Setting up the two‑car shipment was more difficult than it should’ve been. There wasn’t a way to do it online, so I had to call in to get it set up.

When I contacted them, they reminded me how they work and how much in advance I need to let them before I needed to have the move done. It all went well and as expected.

The representative sent me a confirmation and explained that they don't have a transport carrier at that moment, but they would work on one. They set up a timeframe where they could pick up the car and I only got a driver on the final day or two before the timeframe ended. But they were always quick to answer the phone and answer my questions and they provided me email updates along the way. Once the carrier was found, there was a set of instructions what to do from there and what the transport company was going require prior to the car going onto the carrier. It was all laid out nice and easy and it was simple.

The customer service representative from Sherpa had lots of information and didn’t pressure us into making a decision. He was terrific and answered all our questions. I had to ship a VW Tiguan, and the quote they provided was reasonable. The delivery worked out just perfectly. The driver showed up on time when he said he was going to be there, and the car was in great shape.
