I signed up online then Sherpa called me. I liked their price and response. The rep found me a driver company right away. She did everything she said and the price didn't change. People hate surprises but I didn't get any surprise. It was straightforward and they were honest about the pricing. It worked within my budget. The driver was very helpful as well. It was a big truck and they couldn't bring it into the neighborhood. He suggested for my wife to take an Uber over to a local Walmart and they offered to pay for the Uber. They were very accommodating. I was happy with Sherpa.

I had to get a car to school for my son. I used Sherpa the year before and they were fantastic. So, I decided to use them again. I went through the same process and the quote they gave me was perfect. When the time frame was getting closer and I hadn't heard from them, they got back to me right away and told me what was happening. They were totally great. Both this year and last year, the people who picked up were really nice guys. For this recent transport, they met my son at school and he exchanged the car and money with them. Everything happened quickly and in a timely fashion.

I was moving my son to college and we needed an auto transport service for a G80 Genesis. I liked the way that Sherpa followed up with me and compared to the other company I checked out, I felt better about them. They were not too pushy and they answered questions well. Also, I had to put a hold on the date because we weren't sure if the car was going to be ready. And they were really good at immediately saying that they'd put it on hold and let us email them back when we were ready to get back on the list. The quote they gave us was very reasonable and based on the quality of the their service, it was worth it.

They were very professional and responsive. So, I'm happy with them. They responded to all my questions and it was good. They were on the pricey side. But they told me their pricing arrangement. I was very aware of their business model and how they worked. So, that was helpful. The guy that came out knew what he was doing and put my car on his trailer.

They came when they were supposed to come. They dropped the car when they were supposed to drop the car. The car was not damaged. When I was reaching out to them, they answered immediately. They did everything the day they were supposed to do. So, everything was fine.

I'll recommend Sherpa. From scheduling to pick-up and delivery, the experience was fine. The only issue I have is they wait until the last minute, but the car was picked up on the time they told me it would be picked up. So, that was good. The people who rang me for the logistics kept in contact.

The whole process, from our initial contact with Sherpa through delivery of the car by **, went off without the slightest hitch. In fact, the car was able to be picked up sooner and delivered earlier than we had expected when we began planning to ship the car.

The car arrived in great shape, and I just had to run it through a carwash Saturday to get the "travel bugs" of the windshield! The car was delayed only a day due to truck's mechanical trouble, but that delay was communicated to my nephew in Reno by the nice driver, who suggested a delivery time that was acceptable to my nephew in Reno. When no carrier had picked up the job for the price quoted, Sherpa kicked in extra to confirm a carrier to meet our schedule. Service was efficient, professional and no issues end to end. The surprising extra perk was the referral to International Van Lines for movers who offered a deep moving discount using the Sherpa referral. That saved us a lot of money! I would definitely use Sherpa again.

I had a car with a blown engine and had to ship it from Driftwood, Texas to Deerfield Beach, Florida to get it repaired. The window for someone to pick up the contract was eight days and they picked it up in six days. It was one of those big transports with 10 cars on it and ours was the last one to go on. The driver texted us 40 minutes before he was gonna show up. He was a really nice guy. The engine had problems and we didn't want it to be started and stopped too many times. He told us that he would locate it on the truck at his next stop where it would only have to be started that one time other than the drop-off point. He did that and it was a successful transport. He was fantastic. From our experience, Sherpa is dependable. We're happy and we're gonna use them to come back this way. The car is gonna be coming back in two months and I already have the contact at Sherpa to call them and schedule the pick-up.

I was moving from Texas to Pennsylvania and I didn't wanna do the drive. I looked into four companies and Sherpa gave me the most straightforward explanation of how things would work and what they would cost. They put the bid on who accepts it and I didn't necessarily want the lowest bid to win in transporting my vehicle. It was a little scary for me in terms of I've never done it before so, my expectation on how it worked didn't exist. I asked a lot of detailed questions and the customer service reps answered them all. But sometimes, there was a language barrier in terms of the person I was talking to. And it was a little hard to communicate. I got a phone call just before the pick-up time telling me when they were gonna pick up the vehicle and where to meet. And we did it. I got the same call on the reverse side to pick them up and they brought the vehicle within a five-minute walk of my house. And I picked it up.

Scheduling transport with Sherpa was easy. Their customer service was fine, too. I wanted to move a car from one house to another. The pick-up was in Maryland and delivery was in Utah. The transport process was exactly what I contracted for. However, the driver who showed up could not speak any English and it was a little disconcerting for me.

I had two great experiences with Sherpa. I also recommended them to my daughter. She needs a car from Michigan to Tulsa, Oklahoma. They do everything on time and they keep in touch. Both drivers were great and we were happy. Sent me a map of where they would be when they delivered it. It was perfect. Their customer service was great, too. I called the 800 number. The first time, it was a lady. The second time, it was a guy. They were both very polite and efficient. They sent me emails back and forth right away.

The guy picked up the car and then I left it with my friend's house so that it was in a secure place. The delivery was supposed to be on the 10th, but it came on the 9th. Everything for me was excellent. Sherpa is trustworthy and honest. They keep their promise. They are good people. It was a very good experience. After a surprise earlier than expected call from the assigned driver, we managed to have a friend drop off my car (I was already on the road north). Calo the driver got my car to me in Vermont a day earlier than expected! He was a delightfully positive young man; my car arrived without a scratch; and there were no surprise charges. All in all, a good experience. A couple of other companies seemed suspect and unreliable (multiple phone calls; different prices quoted, etc). Sherpa put me in good hands.

Sherpa was an initially a little challenging on the pickup and the carrier cancelled due to problems with their truck. They finally picked up all 3 vehicles and they arrived within 24 hours. The driver, Leonard, was wonderful. He helped get each vehicle up in the Hollywood Hills and was the best carrier I’ve ever dealt with.

I moved from New Jersey to Utah and the carrier service that I was recommended let me down. I chose Sherpa to help me get my car to Utah from New Jersey and they were the one that helped me out. The pick-up and delivery went flawlessly and all my questions were answered. They were in contact with me once they picked up the vehicle, then they called me when the vehicle was closed. But I was following the vehicle because I had a tracking device through my insurance in the car. They gave me a quote originally because they were going to deliver over Memorial Day weekend. And when they delivered afterwards because told them that I didn't need it delivered over Memorial Day weekend, they reduced the quote. So, they were very reasonable and fair.

I looked at three transport companies. It just took a few weeks to decide, and Sherpa seemed to be the best. They kept in contact with me. It was the first time I had a vehicle transported, and as far as I can see, it seemed to be a fair price as well. I wish it’d been only 10% of the whole quote, but other than that, it was competitive. If I had a negative comment, it was just the guy who came here couldn't speak any English. So, I had trouble getting him to understand what to do, where to drop off the vehicle, and how to turn it around.

My Honda CRV went from South Carolina to Minnesota. I don't like to pay that much, but Sherpa's quote was fair. I sent the car to my daughter who's 22, and the driver was close to the same age. Sometimes we get images in our head of gruff, old truck drivers, but this driver was the sweetest, nicest young man. He dropped me back at my house, so I had to take the car down a little ways because it's my street. He was so cute. When he left my house, he honked and waved. It was like if I had a son, it would have been my son leaving. I felt really comfortable having him being the one to meet up with my 22-year-old daughter. He was amazing, and I felt like everything would be just fine with him. My daughter thought the same thing. They met him at a Walmart as well as I did, because it's easier in a big parking lot, and it went totally smoothly.

I have two vehicles and my wife and I drove one, and we shipped the other. The quote wasn’t the highest but I didn’t trust the lowest one. It was right there in the middle. Sherpa took care of me on the other side because I wasn't there to help load. I had to rely on my family, so they were good with that. The guy knew his equipment and he had it ready for the download by the time he got to me. So, either it was already at the end or he prepped it before he got there so I didn't have to wait a long time for it to get downloaded. The vehicle was supposed to be there on Saturday and I got it on Wednesday. The guy showed up four days early so that was awesome. A certain day was fine, but when they called to say they were early, it was perfect. I would have liked to go cheaper. Sherpa got other cars on there so it was not like my one car is going the whole distance and that's all they get for pay. But gas prices are up there as well as tolls and the truckers.

Sherpa communication is excellent and the whole process went very smoothly. I am very satisfied from the initial quote through the final delivery. The quote is the quote! I was arranging a car transport service for a neighbor who was moving from Washington State to Tennessee. It was for an Audi and we chose to get an open service with Sherpa. It was not hard to use. We had to do the contract stuff online, and the quote was clear and reasonable. But they gave us an estimate of the time when they would be picking up and it was very far off. They estimated between 2:00 and 5:00. And they got there at 7:00 at night. So that was problematic because I had a dinner planned but I had to cancel my plan in order to wait for this truck to come.

I spoke a couple times to representatives at Sherpa and they sounded legit and professional. Then, I got a couple of quotes from different companies and theirs was a little bit less than the others. The quote was reasonable. The reps were nice and responsive. They picked up the phone right away and there was never a time when I couldn't get ahold of them. The dates they gave me were correct for pick-up and delivery. The driver was supposed to come between 11:00 and 2:00, and he called me at 8:00, which was totally fine. So, I met him at 8:30 in front of my building. The car looked fine. We did the paperwork and I gave him the remainder of the money that I owed for delivery. It's scary to have your car sent from the East Coast to the West Coast across the country but I felt very comfortable and satisfied with Sherpa’s work.

Booked a car transport from Charlotte to Fort Worth, the date range for the transport was July 14th to the 17th. The customer service person and I specifically agreed to start the window on the 14th as I had plans for the 13th. On the afternoon of 13th I received an e-mail introducing me to Cowboy Transport, the e-mail said they would be in contact in approximately 12hrs. Two hours later I received a phone call from Cowboy saying they would be picking up my car in 30-45min. One problem, I was out to dinner. I had to ask my 70yr old father go to my house and drive the car about 2 miles away to meet the transport. The driver offered to drive my Dad back, but let’s just say it was clear the driver had been on the road for a few days. Thus, my Dad had to walk back in 90 degree heat plus humidity.

I like the price lock guarantee with Sherpa. Most of the process was online then they had a follow-up call to answer questions and I responded to the email they sent to book the transport. The delivery was painless and faster than I expected.

I was 100% pleased with the way the pricing worked. When I first called Sherpa, they told me it'd be $550. I got the impression that they don't have their own drivers. The drivers are independent contractors. The first quote they got was from somebody local then he said he couldn't do it. By the time I ended up, it was almost $900. I wasn't happy about it, but I understood. It was a complicated delivery and the female that I spoke to was working very hard on my behalf. It took them a while to find an individual that would drive it all the way to Virginia and back. Once they did, the person was very pleasant. She did a good job communicating with me and took the truck exactly where I asked her to take it. It was the only car in this lady's truck.

If you have a vehicle you really care about, contract with Sherpa Auto Transport. They were reasonably priced and work with high quality transporters and delivery was faster than I expected all the way from AZ to WI. I will be using their services again to ship my last vehicle when my house sells.

My experience with Sherpa was easy. They had good phone support and they were easy to deal with. The driver was great also. I met with them at a Home Depot for the pickup and same on the other end, my son met them at a big, large parking lot. Getting them in a residential area is not easy.

When we were relocating to Colorado from California, I was referred by my daughter to Sherpa. My daughter picked up the vehicle and had to drive a block and a half to get it. Everything was fine and I would use Sherpa again.

My father was getting rid of his truck and offered it to me. We needed to ship it from Texas up Washington where I live, and Sherpa was the cheapest way to do it. I called them directly and the rep, Tiffany, explained that sometimes when people bid on it, they're just bidding for one way so the number that you see is one way. She explained that with Sherpa there are no additional fees. She also explained that most of them are brokers. Sherpa seemed the most transparent about their fees or how much the total would be. During the pick-up of the vehicle, my dad received a call and the driver wanted to come at 11:30 at night. He told the driver no so he came the next morning, which worked better for my dad's schedule. The guy was nice. For the delivery, I received a call then half an hour later, the guy showed up at my door. I live on a pretty wide residential street, but he parked on the major street, brought the car and it was right there.

I decided to go with Sherpa based off of their reviews and the timeliness of their routes from Illinois to Texas. Their customer service reps were very good and very supportive. There were no issues with the move for our car from Illinois to Texas. The quote was about average from what other companies would have offered for the same route. The transport took three days from beginning to end. Expectation was five days, so it did meet our timeline. The car had no damages.

I was moving my car to Seattle and I called multiple transporters and I felt comfortable talking to Sherpa. They were detailed and patient enough to walk me through the process. After speaking to Sherpa Auto Transport, they said that they are not the company that changes the price on you. I heard a lot of other companies don't pick up cars or try to extort money out of you when they pick up the car. Sherpa said they do not work like that and they explained everything. So, I decided to go with them. I priced one other place. They were comparable. They were right in line from other Facebook groups that I had seen what people paid. It was fair. We met the driver on both ends because it was too tight for the truck to come to pick up in Colorado and I thought that my street would be tight. It's rare to find a company that does what they say.

This was the first time I planned to use an auto shipping company for shipping my vehicle in the US. I contacted several different shipping companies, which was a total disappointment, to say the least. The guys at Sherpa are awesome! They did exactly what they promised me. They showed up on time and delivered the car on time with no damaged or extra charges. I strongly recommend them so don't waste your time with any other shipping companies. Process was smooth, communication could be a little better with pick up and drop off windows. Final delivery was done by another company which I wasn’t aware of until they called to confirm a drop off time. Again this company overall was great and I will be using them again in the near future.

I needed my car shipped temporarily to North Carolina. It looked like there was some good stuff about Sherpa, so I called and it worked out. Setting up the transport was really easy. My niece was receiving the car in North Carolina and I had to ship that check to her. I got quick responses. They said no, "Just drop off the state at the end of the check." When the guy picked up my vehicle at my house, it was odd because he just walked up and I didn't see anything. He had parked right on the side road and I saw it. My husband and I were like, "Oh, okay. He showed up." He took very detailed pictures. So, it was perfect. The car got from point A to point B with no issues.

I was transferring a car from my grandpa to myself, and I saw Sherpa on Forbes as one of the top transfer companies. Setting up the transport was outstanding, very straightforward and transparent. Customer support was really good. The rep, Marvin, had an open line and let me call him whenever I needed to. The car was picked up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and dropped off in South Carolina. They picked it up on that Thursday, and the guy they contracted with was great. He let me text him whenever I needed to, and he was very straightforward. And he got to South Carolina in about two days so I was worried he wasn't sleeping too much. They were very meticulous about the car. And that was one of the worries I had going into it. And there were no scratch marks, and it looked just as good as when we had it picked up.

Sherpa Auto Transport walked me through because I've never done that before, and it was very easy. They picked the car up that same day. They happened to have a driver in the area. However, I had to drive the car off the top rack, which surprised me a bit. He made sure I didn't go off the rails. Maybe he didn't know how to start it because it was an older car. He said, "You're gonna have to drive it off." That was a little different. But the car was perfect.

I was scouting for rates online and got several quotes and multiple text messages from different companies. When Sherpa called, I listened to what they had to say and I am glad I did. I booked with Sherpa to move a car from Northern OR to Seattle. They finally gave me a Mon - Fri 5 day window. They promised that I would be notified the night before the pick up with a 2 hour window the following day. M, T, W nothing. I called, waited on hold and was finally disconnected saying there is no one to talk to. Emailed them, nothing but canned emails. Friday, the final day of the 5 day window I get a text saying pick up was between 1:30 and 2:00. I was in a meeting until 1:00 and I finally saw the email at 1:05. I scrambled and spoke with the actual carrier, Alpine Trucking, who worked with me. The car go picked up. I requested a $200 refund because they didn't do what they said they would do and they dismissed me out of hand. Gave them a 1 because there is no zero rating.

When I had my car shipped to Georgia, I looked at three different companies and went with Sherpa. They have a lot of 5-star reviews plus their price is reasonable. They contacted me and let me know all the information I needed. They were available if I needed to contact them. Some friends received my car and it went very smoothly. I would use Sherpa again.

We used Sherpa when we shipped a Nissan Rogue for our son who was moving from Dallas to Boston. I like the customer service of the agent that I spoke with. She was very willing to help. The driver called and we met him in the parking lot of a mall. By the time we got there, he already had the car off the truck and ready to go. We paid him and we were on our way. The experience was very professional and easy. I'd use Sherpa again if I had to.

I had my brother's car in California transported over to me in New Jersey through Sherpa. Scheduling was very smooth. It was a very quick call. Texting was very good communication even on weekends and evenings. I had the driver's cellphone number and could either text him or call him to figure out where the car was and when I could pick it up. The transport took faster than I expected by at least 24 hours. I couldn't speak more highly of them.

A friend told us about Sherpa four years ago, and we've been using them ever since. They're the broker for other shippers, and I don't think we've ever gone to the same mover any time. It's always been some new one, and they worked off the date that we needed them. We have moved cars from California to Houston a couple times, and Houston to Pennsylvania, and then Pennsylvania to California.

I had good communication, and the driver was very courteous. I was satisfied and I would recommend Sherpa. Their quote was reasonable too.

When I narrowed it down to three that had good ratings and where they were in the value, I selected Sherpa based on what I saw, looking into better Business Bureau and a couple of other places. Sherpa shipped my Acura MDX. Delivery went fine. It took four days from California to Ohio and given the distance, the cost was reasonable.

Could not have been an easier experience shipping my car from NJ to CO. Drivers were on time and very communicative, and were able to meet me close to home on both ends of the trip. The drivers even took a few steps to ensure that my car would be safe, and even took my EZPass off the windshield so that I would not be billed while the car was being transported. I had certainly not thought of that! This was my first experience shipping a car and it was seamless.

Everything went exactly as quoted, employees were very personable and knowledgeable. I was impressed that only this one vehicle was transported when a driver could not be found with a load. I was updated on the progress of the search for a driver and the date was adhered to on the delivery.

We used Sherpa Auto to move our Mercedes and our Camry from the West Coast to the East Coast. We saw their company online and contacted them via phone. The person on the customer line was very helpful. Our vehicles were picked up from our door and the guy was very nice. He gave us all the information we needed. They delivered the cars earlier than we had anticipated which was wonderful. There were no hidden fees. And our cars came in the same condition they were in when we handed them over to them.

It took a while to find an available transport vehicle due to the holiday weekend. But it worked out almost too well, as the transporter got to our destination before we did. We had to have a relative pick up the vehicle at a neighborhood store parking lot. They called me to pay the entire balance, and used Zelle to do so! All went well, and they were extremely efficient! The only thing we did not receive upon pickup was Any paperwork — no bill of lacing was given to us. But it worked out well, vehicle was in same condition as when it left, and it all worked out well.

They were on time, efficient, and friendly. Would definitely recommend them. Don't waste your time with the other companies that offer this service. I tried them and they didn't perform well at all. They left me hanging. They also delivered my vehicle a day sooner than was scheduled. They are easy to work with.

We needed to ship my son's car from Portland, Oregon to Peoria, Illinois. Sherpa came in at the best price and after getting quotes from other companies, I went back to them and told them I was hiring them. They said the price had gone up a little bit, but they said they'd stick with their original quote. They delivered the car in a timely manner and we didn't have any problems. The transport took three days and the communication with the driver was super easy. He couldn't drive into our neighborhood, so my husband had to meet him somewhere where there was a big parking lot, which they were able to coordinate.

I used Sherpa to transport a vehicle from east coast to west coast and when I set it up online, their website was good. Their customer service rep was very professional, plus, the quote was decent and did not change in the end. That was my daughter's car and she's in California. They delivered it to her on time.

Setting up the transport was very good. I received quick responses and Sherpa’s reps promised they'd have the transport initially set up. They emailed me throughout the process. So, I was very happy with everything. I was given a couple of meeting place options for the pickup and the driver was there at exactly the time he stated he would be there. So, it was very well put together. We took pictures beforehand and so did the driver. He filled out a bill of lading and I sent a copy of that to my son. The car was delivered right in front of my son’s house and it arrived in the same condition that it departed New York. If people need to transport a vehicle long distance, Sherpa is a very reliable company to deal with. They quoted me a price and that was exactly what I paid. They had stated that if, for some reason, there was a bump in the price, they would cover a $300 additional fee. But that was never an issue.

The rep was available by text message and that was helpful. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and put me at ease to use Sherpa's services. It was quick to get everything set up. They emailed me in regards to the company that was transporting my vehicle and I got a text a couple of days before letting me know that they were coming. The driver was very friendly and my car was in good shape. I was happy.

Have successfully used them three times, each was consistently reliable and fairly priced. Car always arrived in good condition and at an agreeable location for both of us. There were no surprises. I would easily use them again or recommend their services to a friend or relative. Go with Sherpa.

We used Sherpa to ship 2 vehicles from Naples FL to Madison WI several weeks apart. Both carriers assigned were great and communication was good between Sherpa and the carriers. The first car was assigned very quickly. The second car was assigned last day of window but Sherpa made it happen.

They answered all my questions and I didn't have any problems. Initially, they had provided a higher quote. And several weeks later, the quote was significantly lower. The cost was completely worth it. It all went well.

I could've found a lower price, but what I wanted was quality of service and that's what I got from Sherpa. That's what I was happy to pay for.

Sherpa Auto Transport's driver was very good. He was in complete contact with me up until he came to pick up the car. I was only down the street at a recreation facility, so I brought the car to him, and he said, “I'll give you a ride back there. You don't have to call somebody.” He took my car and dropped me back off, went back and put the car on the lift. It was very nice. The quote was $100 less than what I paid in January. I'm hoping next time, it would be even lower.

The transport with Sherpa was quick. They picked the vehicle up in the afternoon of one day and it was delivered at 3:00 in the morning the next. Everything worked according to their schedule. They stayed in communication. They delivered the product and they provided a very competent and friendly driver. He did a good job. He even offered the delivery point at our request. That was invaluable. I got great service. I was very happy.

I called the car dealership that I used and one of the guys said that one of his customers was using Sherpa. So I called and I was happy with them. We did the transport from Arizona to Hershey, Pennsylvania, and it was a good process. I was satisfied. A friend of mine met the driver because we had the flight out before he was coming, and then my son met him when he got to Pennsylvania.

Great Experience. Before signing up, I checked the reviews online and most of them were positive, so I call Sherpa and initially spoke with Kendra. She was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The price quote I received online was the price they charged and I also received a $50 rebate after the car was delivered. After signing up, it took about 4 days for them to secure a transport co. (Royal Auto Transport) and Christian called me to set up the pickup day/time. He showed up as scheduled and took good care of loading my car. It was delivered a couple days later, again as scheduled and he even drove it to our work parking lot. From start to finish it took a little over week which was great. I would highly recommend Sherpa if you are in need of auto transport services. They are honest and kept their word on everything they told me.
