Weil, they are technically correct. They are entirely dishonest. They bullied me into paying for expedited two day pick up. Well, yeah, the guy came but he wouldn’t come to the house and we had to have the car moved a mile and a half away because it was “too hard“ for him to get to the car. The car was supposed to be delivered from Florida to Colorado in 3 to 4 days. It took eight days with almost no communication. Shipper claims that they fulfilled the expedited delivery because the car got picked up in two days (keep in mind not even at the house). I’ll never use them again. I find them dishonest and weasely.

The Sherpa representative I dealt with was good. I ordered the service online, and it was easy. I received information as to when the vehicle was picked up. The driver was really kind and nice. He was tired but he delivered the vehicle and everything was fine. I wasn't there for the pickup. It was picked up at a dealership, and they're used to having large trucks pick up vehicle. We live in a rural area, so it was really easy to navigate through our neighborhood. There was very low traffic, wide road, and he had no issues. Overall, my experience was good, and I'd tell others to check them out if they needed to have a vehicle transported.

Sherpa delivered an outstanding service during my car transport from Philadelphia to Napa. They were very helpful in accommodating dates for pickup and delivery and provided a realistic timeline with very reasonable cost. They kept stalling. I called Sherpa and they had me a driver the next day. The move was super easy, very smooth and fast. Also, once the car left my possession and went into the hands of the person that would receive it, they kept in contact as well. The carrier that they chose did a great job. They were on top of things. English wasn't the first language. But we were fine with it. It's a possibility that somebody might be apprehensive about that. But we communicated great and there was no language barrier between us.

We were moving a Kia Niro, which is an EV and it was not practical to try to drive with a 300-mile range from California to North Carolina. It was almost 3,000 miles. I looked at one other company but Sherpa had good reviews and the price seemed good. They picked up my car and got it delivered when and where they said they would. The customer service was great and very communicative. They let me know what's going on and when to expect to hear from them, and I heard from them. My daughter accepted the delivery, and she said there was no problem. My only complaint is that the inside of the driver's door looks like the driver wiped off his feet on it. It's full of dirt. The outside was also filthy. But it was nothing that a car wash couldn’t take care of. The quote was in line with what I was expecting to pay and the service was satisfactory. So, I would recommend Sherpa.

So they assigned us to a different one at the last minute, but it turned out to be fine. But it was a little dicey when they said, "Well, this new company doesn't work on the weekends. You might not get it until Monday," which was two days before Christmas. So that was gonna be unacceptable. But then they delivered our car on Saturday. So I don't know why they told us that. But everything went well.

Plus, how we got the car back was as they got it. I would recommend Sherpa because once we set on everything, we were set. Their customer service was good.

We weren't supposed to ship until the middle of December but then I called them up and I said, “Hey, we can ship any time.” So, they upped the time, and we were able to get it locked in on a company within two days.

When Sherpa signs you up and once you agree to the terms, they say, "Hey, we'll have to find somebody who's gonna secure your job, but we won't necessarily up until a day before the appointment." So there was a lot of uncertainty initially. That almost made me say no because I didn't wanna be stuck with not being able to ship the cars. The guy that I talked to said, "99% of the time, it's all fine and you get word before that." A couple of days later, they found somebody who was gonna contract our transport.

The transport took less than two days and they drove right to my home from the dealer. It was an 11-hour drive. The driver was very good and nice. He tried to accommodate us as much as I was trying to accommodate him having a larger truck. I knew it wouldn't fit on my street, so we worked together and came up with a common spot to meet.

So, I looked at reviews and made my decision based to hire them on that. My brother was on the outgoing side in North Carolina for the pick-up and I was the receiver here in Colorado. We both received the text message from the coordinator that said if we had any questions, we could ask him and he'd coordinate. Initially, the guy wanted to pick the truck up in a business parking lot, and my brother wrote back asking him to just come because his area was a one-way street. It's big and it shouldn't be a problem. And the guy did. So, that was very accommodating.

Sherpa was recommended to us by The Villages in Florida. We transported two Buicks, an Envision and an Encore with them. The price seemed fair. The driver contacted us and arranged a meeting spot for the pick-up at a large parking lot because our home was not suitable for the truck to get in. We met them there, and they loaded the truck. It went well. We weren’t here to receive the cars when it was delivered. There’s a little bump on one of the cars, and the person looking at it didn’t see it. But we’re all set with it. I was having a problem with them. Sherpa came up when I googled and doing it with them was easy. I had no problems at all so it was great. The driver was okay. I took pictures of his truck and we walked around the vehicle and made sure what kind of dents were there and then he went on his way. He just said he couldn't find it, so I sent him to a Walmart. I just drove there. But since I had to wait for him, it would have been nice if I could just wait at my house ‘cause it was a hot parking lot.

But what ends up happening is if you read reviews or ask questions, then you find out later that they're quoting you a low price to try to get your business, and you're gonna get a surprise price once it was delivered. I'd rather know how much it cost and have the job done, and have it be that cost.

Sherpa was a recommendation from a friend of my wife's that had used them a couple of times. I called and spoke to them. My favorite part was that they had guaranteed a price. In other words, they're mostly a broker and they're dealing with truckers. And those truckers, when they're completely empty, they'll charge very low prices. As they fill up and they have one spot left, they like to charge a premium and other companies pass that premium on to you. They say it was 900, then they call and say, "Well, we can't do it for any less than 1,050." Sherpa guarantees it. They hooked me up with a good driver and truck. He was very courteous.

Was worried due to reviews online. Shipped a new dodge charger from California to florida with no issues other than a lil bit of desert dirt that cleaned right up. Same mileage as when they picked her up. Took less than 10 days from pick up to get her. If you have any concerns or hangups, don't, they know what they're doing.

Their representative even worked to modify Sherpa’s quote to get closer to the lower one that I had received from a competitor. They then scheduled the pickup. It was a little bit hard getting an update from the driver particularly on the initial pickup schedule and delivery time. He ended up being late, but it all worked out. They provided me phone numbers and I was able to contact him and reasonably get updates.

We couldn't be happier with all aspects of having the car transported by Sherpa from East Coast to West Coast. It was very straightforward. Contacted via the phone and walked through the process. It was a challenge for them because at the time, we didn't have our house on the market, so we couldn't give them a specific date, but they were able to lock in a period for us, and they were able to answer all my questions. And as it worked out, the house sold faster, the timeline for moving accelerated more than we expected, and when I called back, they immediately found a transport company to pick up the vehicle, so they were very accommodating. The coordination with the driver as far as where to pick up and where to deliver the car was great. In both instances it wasn't conducive to having a large truck come into a residential area, and we were able to coordinate a nearby location.

It's nice to know that you're not going to pay any more than what they said. I was in the trucking business, so I understand that sometimes if you want get it done, you may have to pay a little more.

We had a great experience with Sherpa. We went with them since they had the ability to transport our Jeep Wrangler in the time frame and price we wanted. Their customer service was great, and they had a good driver. It took a little while to get the driver pass. But he was really courteous, easy to deal with, and very professional on both ends. We loved that he was quick. It was a pleasure to deal with him. The only thing that was a little unsettling was we still had to pay at the end after paying for everything upfront. They went back and forth with the price in how they arrange to get a carrier. Besides that, everything was fine.
