I purchased an old Mustang in California and had it shipped to Indiana. I went with Sherpa because of the timing. I called and the rep set it up. She did a good job. The quote was too high but the accuracy to the final price was perfect. From the time the driver picked it up until I got it, it took two days. On the delivery, the gentleman called and said he would be at Walmart about six miles from my house. We met in there and picked it up.

I was moving from New Jersey so I had to ship my car and my SUV here towards San Antonio. I went with Sherpa because of the contact and scheduling and it went well with their rep. We set up times for pick up and delivery and told them to give me a call when the vehicle is almost here. The price I paid in the end was fine. It was just about what I was quoted. Also, the driver was pretty respectful. He called me every time he was close to the area and let me know that he was in town. It was the holidays, so the transport took about a day longer because of the New Year. It was about 10 days in total. And the vehicles arrived fine. They were just as we shipped them. I've recommended Sherpa to someone.

Sherpa communication and engagement with the reps was very good. Could not ask for more. Helped me out when the actual delivery transport company called me late at night and did not speak adequate English. Your rep stepped in and communicated directly with that company’s dispatcher. I enjoyed dealing with such a professional company as yourself.

I got a good quote from Sherpa to ship my car from California to Florida. I also had a straightforward and easygoing interaction with the customer service rep. The final price was a bit more expensive compared to when I shipped my car from Florida to California. But the car was delivered over a weekend instead of a week. I was late to meet the driver but he was very patient. He came four or five days early. I looked over the car, and it was in the same condition that I left them with it. It was a great experience. I would want the price to be cheaper, but it was reasonable.

I was moving to another location for another project. I wasn't able to go and pick the car up and so I went online and searched for transport companies. Sherpa Auto Transport came up and I called them immediately. I had them transport my Toyota Corolla from Milwaukee to Atlanta. The quote they gave me was very good and I liked it. The whole transport took a week and the delivery guy called me an hour before he came.

I had a 1984 Pontiac Firebird Transported. The experience I had with Sherpa was great. From the start their customer service representatives were honest and informative, unlike some of the other companies I dealt with. They helped me plan my shipment and everything went smoothly. My shipment even was ahead of schedule! I would use this company again!

I recently had death in my family and had to get my uncle’s car from Florida to Maryland. The paperwork to change ownership of the car was slow, but Sherpa Auto Transport stayed in touch with me. They called once a week to ensure me that the price we had initially agreed to would still be honored. They were very compassionate about my situation. They said as soon as I told them the car was ready, they would find a driver. Each step of the way, Sherpa Auto Transport followed up with an email.

Your services were excellent. The communications were constant, accurate and professional, so I was completely aware of what was happening at all times. If there was a minor problem, I felt that Sherpa was on top of it, and took responsibility for everything under their control. When the driver was found, I got numerous emails, texts and phone calls to alert me. When his language was a bit hard to understand, Sherpa got in the middle of it to help with communication. When I asked about insurance, Sherpa assured me it had the proper paperwork. The driver arrived at exactly the appointed hour, and showed up a day early in Texas—unbelievable. I would not hesitate to use your services again, and I have been telling my friends to consider you if they want to ship their cars anywhere. We had to get our 2017 Acadia from Central Washington State back to my sister-in-law in Ohio. I signed up with a transport company, but I kept getting the runaround. I called Sherpa and the lady who answered the phone, when I talked to her the first time, told me, “This is what it’s gonna be. It’s not gonna be anything else. You won’t get dinged when we finally find a driver.” And they were true to their word. I signed up for the transport just before the holidays, but I was told that it wouldn’t be until after the first of the year before they would be able to find a driver because otherwise, there will be permit fees. That was not a problem.

I needed a transport service to ship a vehicle as a gift to a person who is based in Jacksonville, Florida. I looked at three different transport companies but I got a good feeling about Sherpa. Their customer service was good. They got the car there in two days and the recipient was not expecting it at the time. I was also expecting it for a week and a half. Their reps didn't let us know they were in the process and that would have been a good thing to know. The driver's name, his phone number, and all that information would have been helpful. Other than that, the vehicle was in good shape upon its arrival. I would recommend Sherpa.

We purchased a car from a dealership in NH and needed to get it transferred to WA. The rate was comparable, if not better than other shippers. The driver was scheduled within 1 day of booking, gave us a 7-10 day delivery window, which seems pretty standard. The driver actually picked up the car that same day, earlier than expected. I wasn't there for pickup, but the driver took and provided a lot of photos of the car prior to loading.

There had been a fire in my apartment building in Colorado, and I had come back East and I needed to have my 2004 Honda Sedan shipped. I called Sherpa and it was all good. The customer service was great. The drivers were great too.

My daughter was moving from Wisconsin to California, and we needed to transport her car from here to there so that it doesn’t do the wear and tear of her driving it all the way over there. I also liked the fact that nowadays, there’s a big list that everybody uses with all the drivers, and people bid on different moves. Sherpa doesn’t charge you until they get a driver, so you know that it’s gonna happen.

We were moving our car from New Orleans to California for a vacation visit for three months. My husband had contacted several transport companies but he hadn’t gotten any response back. I contacted two and I heard from both of them. Both of them were pleasant. Sherpa offered a couple of incentives which made the difference. The quote was competitive with the other one, except Sherpa was offering $100 rebate. They were also offering a $20 rebate for the carwash which was very good. We’ve also contracted with them to return our car in March. So, they picked up the car in New Orleans, they delivered it on the day they said they would, and we were really pleased. I’m satisfied enough that I’m gonna use them again when I return the car to New Orleans.

I looked up about 20 companies and looked at customer reviews. Sherpa had very good reviews. I needed to ship my grandson’s car from Kenner, Louisiana to Lakeport, Florida, and they promised to have the car shipped off on a specific day. It was picked up that particular day, and also delivered as promised with no additional fees. So, I couldn’t have been happier. I highly recommend them and if I'll have another shipment to do, I would only use Sherpa.

My daughter was moving to California and she was transporting a 2016 RAV4. She called three different transport companies before calling Sherpa and we went with them because of the price and availability. The rep who helped us was great. His knowledge was very good and he tried to accommodate us and let us know every aspect of the procedure. Then, the driver came around, explained the process, and took pictures of the car. It only took them two or three days to get to California. We were flying out and the car was there when we got there. The car was a little dirty because they got into a snow storm which we understood. The cost with Sherpa was great and our experience went well. We are very pleased with the company.

Sherpa Auto Transport took care of the expenses accrued during my vehicle transport. They are no longer using the driver that caused the damage, but more importantly they took care of the financial burden I initially had to handle. They stand behind their business which is rare today. I appreciate you making good on this transport. Honestly Sherpa was very good on their end throughout. I got Sherpa Auto Transport to transfer a Wigo from Denver to New York. The rep I talked to was friendly and everything went well. We had to ship the car within a month. I told her we'd deposit the following week and she continued the plan. Then, she sent someone over and picked up the car. And then the next couple days, it was in New York. They were pretty good. The quote provided by Sherpa was also reliable and it was a fair price. The guy who delivered the vehicle to me was friendly too. The transport took three days from beginning to end. My front bumper and the back bumper are there, so everything was fine.

I was shipping a vehicle for myself and my son. He had a car accident, so he needed a replacement. I had a place that we had done some main storage before, so I went directly with them because they worked with me before and it always went pretty quick. However, it got to the point where I couldn't get a hold of anybody with that company unless I went through their phone system and said, “Sale”, and then I got a hold of someone ‘cause they wanna make money. Customer service was dark, so that was when I had to hunt around again. Sherpa had good reviews and they also weren’t the most expensive. They went the middle of the road and a lot of people seemed to like their transport service. I went with Sherpa and their timeline was a lot faster than what I had before with the other company.

Everything was good in my experience with Sherpa. We were moving so I looked for a transport company to ship my Range Rover. Among the 3 different companies I looked at, Sherpa was the only one that guaranteed for the vehicle to be picked up on time. Their customer representatives were efficient and they have very good knowledge of the process too. The transport of the vehicle from New York to Kansas took three days and it was faster than expected. The vehicle arrived in good condition and the driver who dropped it was really nice. Also, the original quote and the final cost that I paid was the same.

We were relocating across the country and I needed to get my small SUV transported. Out of the three companies that I looked at, I had Sherpa Auto Transport do it because of the cost. Their customer service was awesome, very communicative and transparent when it comes to emails and calls. During the delivery, the carrier driver communicated okay. However, it was weird because he had someone else that would call for him, and what that person gave was often different than what Sherpa actually gave. There was some confusion that happened - Sherpa told me that the driver would be here by noon, but then the driver called at 8:00 and told me that he was already there. I was working then, so I wasn't there. But he totally accommodated and did other stuff first then he came back. What I ended up paying for the transport wasn't exactly what I was quoted, but I was okay with it. The car also arrived really dirty, but Sherpa offered a free car cleaning.

We needed our car transported from where we were to our home. We looked at another company but they were not giving us the satisfaction that we were looking for. We have been having trouble getting them to respond to us. They said that they were gonna pick up the car but they never did. So we went with Sherpa. The person who we interacted with at Sherpa was very friendly and professional. He explained everything and he was true to his word. He was very good about telling us how the process would go and he picked up the car within a few days.

The cost of the service was good. It did take them a little longer to deliver the car because of the weather, and they explained to me the details of it. But the car was the same when it arrived. Sherpa had good reviews so I used them. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do, picked the car up when they said they would, and delivered the car within three days. I shipped a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee using Sherpa Auto Transport. It left North Carolina on Sunday, and arrived here on Tuesday. It was very fast. I found Sherpa on ConsumerAffairs, and they had good reviews. They gave me a fair price and it was about what I expected to pay. The driver was a nice guy. He called me the night before, and told me what time he would be at the house in the morning. The ability to call Sherpa and reach a live person every time was just amazing compared with what one experiences these days. Blend that with their use of technology, so that they kept me informed every step along the way. They’re excellent.

We decided to go with Sherpa to transport our car. The process was easy and there was always a person at Sherpa to answer the phone (able to speak with a real person is great). We had a two day window for picking up the and a two day window for delivering the car. Sherpa met the times at both ends of the process. The car arrived in the same condition with no damage. After having a terrible experience with another shipping company with a world class antique automobile being shipped from California to Georgia, we were very careful to research who to use for shipping a new purchase from Arizona to Tennessee. The customer service team at Sherpa was responsive and answered all my questions. The final cost was slightly less than the quote that they gave me. The delivery was ahead of time, and it took three and a half days for the car to arrive. The car was a little dirty, but it was expected. So, my expectations were met. I would use them again.

My grandson who was in the Air Force had a vehicle that was licensed in Arizona. However, Arizona wouldn't approve the emissions thing of Delaware, so Arizona wouldn't issue him another license plate. So he called and asked me if I wanted his car. I said, "Sure," 'cause I did a lot of work on it before. I knew the car real well. I called around and made some calls to other transport companies but I wasn't happy with the people I was talking with. On the other hand, I heard some good reports about Sherpa, so I called them on a Monday morning and told them what the situation was. They said they would find somebody and get back in touch with me. I told them I only had about four days 'cause my grandson flies all over the places and never knows when he's gonna be around.

This was a very positive experience and I found the staff easy to deal with by telephone, email and direct contact. The transport truck arrived as scheduled and it arrived undamaged (but very dirty). There was some problem in getting it started on the rig as the 12v accessory battery was dead but the driver was helpful and understanding. All things good!

There was a holiday coming up and we got a certified check for this guy to pay for the car and put it in the mail. He didn’t get it for four days. A truck was supposed to pick the car up, and the driver wouldn't release it until he got that check. The driver had to go since he had other things he had to do. Then we got it set up again, and they went to pick up the car. They already had one vehicle in there, but the car was four inches too long to go in the trailer. So, they set it up again, and then it was delivered. If I ever need anybody again, I'll call Sherpa Auto.

Although I provided a very short window, the representatives from Sherpa helped me get my car shipped immediately. They have great customer experience and would answer phone calls whenever I have any question. From San Jose to Seattle, I received my car right the next day! The driver was also very friendly, responsible, as well as pay attention to details. I'd definitely like to use their service again in the future!

I moved from Florida to California, where my daughter lives. After looking at 6 or 7 transport companies, I chose Sherpa to ship my 2017 Honda Accord because of their ratings from the reviews of different people. My daughter made the arrangements and did it on her side in California. After the car was picked up in Florida, it was dropped off right in front of her husband's driveway in California. They took 4 days for the transport and I was very surprised how fast the carrier driver was. He also gave an estimate of when he was gonna be there. The vehicle was very good, with no scratches or dent, when it arrived. While the amount we paid was the same as the other estimates that I had been given, they gave us a $50 discount when we got here and then there was another $100 discount. We had a very good experience with Sherpa and we were happy with the service, the price, and how fast it took to get to our house.

I recently moved cross-country from California to Vermont for a new job. My company was offering to move my belongings out to Vermont and so, I was in search of an auto transport company, and I came across Sherpa online. I started with about five companies and made my way down to about two. I first went through all of the reviews, and I noticed that Sherpa had great ratings. And so, I ultimately decided to go with them. I didn't have to wait too long for someone to answer the phone. I didn't have to deal with an automated machine, which was really nice. They were very attentive and communicative.

I had the most beautiful experience with Sherpa Auto Transport. When I found my dream vehicle in California which had all the specs and that everything sounded right, I jumped into it. I was originally gonna plan to fly out and drive it back but I was not driving through all the mountains back to Georgia in wintertime. Sherpa gave me a beautiful quote. I was told what I had to pay and that was what I paid the guy got here. The guy I talked to was honest. He laid it flat on the line. Sherpa definitely was not the cheapest place, but my confidence was inspired. We had two different contacts. There was the pickup contact in Ohio, which was my father-in-law, and then the drop-off contact, which was me.

And when I spoke to them, they seemed to be professional and on top of things so I went with them. With the initial call, I spoke to a gentleman who gave me a quote pretty quickly. They offered a $100 credit, followed up and kept in contact with me until they found someone to actually ship the car. The person that shipped it was a very nice gentleman. He did a very great job and was on time. The car arrived in the same condition that it left it. Overall, Sherpa's service was excellent. I would refer them to other folks.

We're seasonal and stay in Arizona for winter but I didn't feel like driving my 2005 Mercury Marquis from Michigan to Arizona. I looked at three different transport companies and liked Sherpa's concept. Setting things up went very smoothly but the best part was the delivery and pickup. It was delivered in five days and we picked it up two days later because we were out of town. The driver was extremely courteous and accommodating when he picked the car up and when we picked it up at the delivery site. Although the car was a little bit dirtier, the condition was the same when we put it on. Their reps were excellent and the cost that I paid in the end was exactly the same with the quote that I got earlier. We're 100% content with Sherpa and would use them again.

The reviews for Sherpa were very good, but still, one never knows, and it's a bit scary to entrust your cars to a stranger. But I took a chance and Sherpa did not disappoint. Felicia, Antoine, and the kind driver were all terrific. My car was picked up in RI and delivered in ME on the agreed upon days - and it arrived in perfect condition. And for $150 less than two other bids I received from other companies. I plan to use Sherpa's services again in the next few months and for the foreseeable future.

I needed to move a car from Indianapolis to Florida and looked at three different transport companies. I looked at the reviews and thought I would go with Sherpa. I had a very good interaction with Sherpa's people. And when the vehicle arrived, there was no damage. Everything was great.

My son was moving out west and we wanted to get his car here. It was from New Jersey to Tucson. I spoke to a gentleman from Sherpa and they were really quick at getting back. He told me what was gonna happen. The driver called and told me when they were gonna be here. Everything was laid out very clearly. Everybody was on time and did what they said they were gonna do and the time they said they were gonna do it. The car got here way earlier than I anticipated. The car actually went out a week before they had told me it was, but I could have waited the extra week if I had wanted it. But I wasn't sure how long it was gonna take to get out because other companies had told me it'd be a week or two weeks or a month so I wanted to make sure it got out in a timely manner. And so, I went ahead with the early pick-up, and they were here in three days.

I purchased an Acura RL and I needed it transported for 40 miles. I was referred to Sherpa by a friend and I got their service. I had excellent interactions with the customer service and I was able to interact with them every step of the way. They called a couple of times, gave me a play-by-play, let me know exactly what was going on, as well as they gave me the shipping company's information and the driver's cellphone number. They took 4 to 6 hours to transport the car and it was in excellent condition when it arrived. They put in on the truck with a forklift, so they didn't start it, but when the driver pulled it off the truck, he jumped it, and it started right up. They got the car to my driveway with a cost that was comparable to other transports. They also have me a $100 gift card, so it was excellent as well. Sherpa is a professional, quality service. I would use them again in the future.

When I was moving, I checked out four transport service companies. However, Sherpa seemed to be professional in dealing with me on the phone so I went with them. They transported my vehicle for 2,800 miles and gave me a quote that was spot on with the final service cost.

I bought a 2002 Yukon from a friend of mine that’s in California and I had it shipped it back to Nashville. My friend called several transport companies, got all the details, and gave me the number on telephone. I used Sherpa and everybody there was really pleasant. It was a really good experience. However, I wouldn’t call two people if I ever had to do it again. I talked to two different people, one of them I talked to twice, and it was just keeping me filled in on the process, when the car was gonna ship, and when I could inspect it. They went over everything with me well.

I randomly looked online and Sherpa had decent reviews. I had a good experience with their reps. The transport took a little over a week, which was a little bit long because it was in between Thanksgiving but it was within the expected amount of time. My car's condition was what I expected when it arrived.

The driver got sick and was not going to be able to make the move date. Sherpa came through and got a drive to make the pick-up date and that driver got here a day early, everything worked out great. Good Job.

I contacted Sherpa on a Thursday morning to transport my VW Golf from Grenada California to Plano Texas Sherpa arranged a pickup the next day on Friday afternoon, and the car was delivered in Plano Texas (about 2100 miles away) on the following Monday afternoon. The transport driver was professional and courteous. He thoroughly and fairly documented minor road chip damage, and provided an emailed bill of lading with a link to photographs of the vehicle on pickup. The price was as quoted. Good communication during the process, and best of all no issues or problems. Recommend.

My 2001 Lexus was in Illinois and I needed it shipped to North Carolina. I looked up around two transport companies before choosing Sherpa Auto Transport and Sherpa said they would give me $100 back on the gift card. After the $100 gift card, they were also the cheapest and the service people were very friendly and nice, so I didn’t have a reason to go any further. Everything was pretty much like the customer service reps said. The transport driver actually picked up a bit earlier and delivered on time. He called me before he picked up the vehicle and told me what time he would be there that same day, which was good.

I Googled the best auto transport company, and Sherpa appeared to be the best one. And when I did this little thing, it said that they were the perfect match for me to use. Their customer service reps were patient and they helped me a lot. The quote was pretty accurate, and the car got here faster than the timeframe that they said. The transport guy was pretty easy to deal with. I would recommend Sherpa to other people.

I was shipping my car out to my son in New Mexico. I tried to find different agencies, and finally came upon Sherpa. The other companies couldn’t guarantee a certain time of when the car could get there. I was more happy with Sherpa because when we talked about picking up the car and delivering it, they could deliver it to my son's home. That worked out more for us, rather than having my son go to a location to pick it up. He is a police officer, so that would have been difficult for him. Everything worked out. They were able to pick it up and deliver it when we needed it to be delivered. The car was delivered right to my son's home, which was very convenient.

I really loved the car shipping service. My car is in the same condition it was picked up in! Excellent communication by the driver, who even delivered the car 2 days early. I would definitely use Sherpa Auto Transport again!

Great Service and on-time delivery. I was concerned about the shipper that Sherpa lined up for me, **, because of some bad reviews on **. However, after more discussion with Sherpa about how they vetted their shippers, I decided to go ahead with the shipment. Victor of ** did a terrific job of loading up and dropping off our BMW Z-3 and it arrived clean with no damage at all. Victor was very professional and he received a nice tip. Sherpa and ** were terrific.

The people who work at Sherpa Auto Transport were outstanding. The folks who answered the phone were very knowledgeable, and they got good answers to my questions. Their pricing was good and they had the availability to do it when I needed it. They delivered the vehicle within the expected time frame and it was in perfect condition upon arrival. They shipped our vehicle cross-country at about 15 hundred miles and their customer service reps were really good. They were helpful and if I needed to talk to them, they were there to talk. Also, the price that I paid in the end was the same quote they gave me at the beginning. So, it was a fair and competitive price, and the cost was pretty on par with the quality of their service. The delivery was good as well and it took about a week. The car arrived dirty, which was what we expected, but there was no damage that we could see. I’d use Sherpa again. They’re a good company and they stood by what the quote was originally. And car transport is kind of a shady business but Sherpa is not shady.

We had never used a transport service. We looked at a lot of companies and a lot of reviews. We chose Sherpa as the price was fair and they had great communications. We found other lower and higher price bids but they did not have the guarantee of price and service level. They use contract drivers like most others but they must do a good job screening as our driver was great. He kept us informed on transport progress and seemed to care about our car. Definitely would be our first choice in the future.

I decided to ship my 1987 BMW convertible from Kansas to Los Angeles rather than drive it there. My first time to ship a car so I called several transporting companies that I found on the internet. I chose Sherpa and it was a good choice! They found a driver coming to Kansas within two days and picked up the car three days after that. The driver was very conscientious and careful pointing out small defects in my car. The driver loaded the car very carefully. The car was delivered to LA two days later in perfect condition. I do recommend Sherpa!!! I will call them again!

You have to appreciate this is a difficult business and process. I had no hard dates for pickup and delivery from west coast to east coast so when a transporter had space I was contacted. The vehicle was picked up when specified and I was notified a day ahead of delivery and vehicle was delivered at exactly the time specified. Overall went smoothly with no problems. Sherpa was always there to answer questions and very professional in communicating. I would highly recommend them based on my experience.

Everyone we had contact was more than pleasant and extremely helpful. From making the reservation, to the driver who picked the car up, to the facility where the car was delivered. Every aspect was exactly how I would have wished for it to be. I recommend Sherpa without reservation and they certainly be my “go to” from here on.

Sherpa arranged for the door-to-door pickup/delivery of a 1972 Corvette from Edmore, MI to Stockbridge, GA. Other companies said they could do it for less, but when they could not locate a driver, they increased the quote and/or asked that I take the auto to a large city -- the closest being over 50 miles away. I could not do that. Sherpa never mislead me on the price or the delivery period. I was completely satisfied with Sherpa's communication and communication from the driver. There was a one day delay in the delivery due to the driver having a mechanical failure needing repair, but he kept me informed and it was no problem.

After speaking to four other shippers, I chose Sherpa to help with our auto transport from Texas to Georgia. At my first contact with Kelsey, I felt confident that the company was customer-first oriented and valued good communication. They had all the answers to the questions I asked and their good price was a plus. Although there were delays on our side in getting the vehicle ready for pick-up, Sherpa kept in constant contact with us through email. They provided complete step-by step instructions on the entire pickup and delivery process. Delivery was "as promised" and the carrier was professional, courteous and efficient. With Sherpa we felt confident in a good transport and were not disappointed. We would definitely use them again if the need arose.

I did quite a bit of research online before hiring Sherpa to transport a vehicle from Oklahoma to California. I had an excellent experience from start to finish and would highly recommend both Sherpa and the driver they hired to transport the vehicle. Pickup was on time and delivery was within an hour of their initial prediction. The car wash they included once the car wash was delivered is a nice touch as the car was filthy from 2k miles of travel. There are a lot of horror stories online about unethical transport companies and I'm happy to say none of that applies to Sherpa. I would recommend them without hesitation. Their price wasn't the lowest but it was very competitive.

Amazed by the promptness of the service! My 2017 Nissan was picked up on Wednesday, about 4:00pm GA time in Midland, GA It was delivered to my son in Fresno, CA about 5:00pm on Friday. The overall cost was $1,545, no ups no downs, no surprises. No damage and no excuses. Compare this to the ** who wanted $6,845 and promised delivery in about 30 days. I highly recommend Sherpa.

Excellent service. Woman who contacted me provided a very detailed explanation of the auto shipping process, pricing, etc. We had originally gone with another company which quoted a very low price. That company kept telling us they had a truck available to transport our car, and then nothing ever materialized. We contacted Sherpa last minute, and they explained that our car was quoted too low and no truck would pick up since both our pick up and delivery were in remote locations. Sherpa found a different truck in two days and the driver was absolutely wonderful. Great communications on all ends. Extremely happy, and would definitely use Sherpa in the future.

Plus, my maiden name is Sherpa so I thought it was meant to be so I went with them. I shipped her a Jeep Patriot from Elko, Nevada and it took four days, which was quick. When the vehicle arrived, the vehicle was dirty traveling that time of the year but the condition was fine. The cost was reasonable and the service was very appropriate. Also, the main person in their office, the dispatch people and the driver were all great.

I shipped a ’13 Sentra from Alabaster, Alabama and I was told that it would arrive sometime between the 27th and the 30th of November. It got there and was dropped off on the 27th which was not bad. I appreciate everything that I was told actually coming to fruition because typically, it’s different. Everything that she told me was exactly how it happened so, I was grateful for that.

It turns out there was a simple explanation for a problem that came down to a lack of communication. The fact that the company responded so quickly to my comments is an indication of the of their usual concern and respect for customer service. As for the bottom line, should the need arise to ship another vehicle in the future, i wouldn’t hesitate to use Sherpa.

The vehicle I had and the way of me towing it wasn’t gonna work. It's a piece of crap Ford and I had to ship it from New Mexico to Phoenix. Sherpa was the best deal, so I went with them. Their reps were very good and they were on the ball. They were calling and keeping me informed, and I enjoyed the ease of talking to them. If I had a question, they had an answer. The quote they gave me was good as well and it was exactly what I paid. The cost was also up to par with the quality of their service. It took a day for them to deliver my car and I’d suggest Sherpa to anybody.

I had high hopes for this company after reading all of their good reviews online, unfortunately that was not my experience with them. After setting up a date with them to pick up my car, my info somehow fell through the cracks (as they put it) and my car was never picked up or was I contacted. I had to leave with my family for the East coast with my car still on the West coast!!! When I finally reached someone at Sherpa they apologized profusely, but couldn’t get my car scheduled to be picked up until almost a week later! There was no financial compensation on their part either! I definitely would not recommend this company! :(

I talked to a lot of transport companies and everyone that refused to ship the vehicle that I bought in Pennsylvania was terrible. When I finally talked to Sherpa, the lady was very honest and told me upfront that it would cost a little bit more, but she explained the process. They were also the only company that had good reviews. It was a little bit more expensive than I had planned on paying, but I was very happy with the experience. And everybody I talked to was all very nice and polite.

I have a Toyota Yaris, which is a very small, light car that's not very great for highway driving, and I didn’t wanna drive it long distance from Chicago to Washington, D.C., so I needed a transport service. The transportation company they booked was just good to fair though. The overall process could be improved, but I understand from a business perspective how difficult it is to broker a spot price. Sherpa was very good on price though. The initial quote was exactly what I paid. In fact, I believe that Sherpa absorbed the additional 50 bucks when the price changed from the transportation company. We go back and forth between Florida and Pennsylvania and plan to use Sherpa again. I would recommend them to someone who has the proper expectations and knows the business model they’re getting into.

I inherited a car, so I needed to send it from Arizona to Pittsburgh. I looked at 2 other companies and Sherpa didn't have the lowest rate, but it seemed like they were better organized and they've got reviews. They also said they would line up a driver as soon as possible, whereas other companies, it was more like the week before or something. So, it was gonna be around Thanksgiving and I just didn’t want to work around with that. Sherpa was awesome. They didn't change the rate or hold back on giving me an estimate before they found a driver, whereas other places won't give you an estimate until they find a driver. They’re more streamlined so I know that I probably paid them a little more than I would have otherwise.

I relocated out of state and looked up about 30 different transport companies. Sherpa had the best quote out of all of the quotes. Everything went off without a hitch and everybody was really professional. The reps told me exactly what to expect, what time the car was gonna be there, and exactly what to expect. It was seamless. The final cost of the service was a lot lower. My original quote was around 1,195, but they came in around 850. The transport took about five days from beginning to end and they really worked with my schedule because I wanted the vehicle in as soon as possible. Winter has hit and it was coming to Illinois. I wanted it before the snowfall and I got it. The vehicle was exactly as I left it, which was a great sigh of relief.

We moved from New York to Nevada and we shipped two family cars. I looked at four other transport companies, but I used Serpa Auto Transport for the customer service that I received over the telephone and how quickly I downloaded the contract. I was given enough time to look them over before I had to sign. They gave me a quote that was good for 90 days which I appreciated because at the time we didn’t have a closing date on our home. Their liability insurance and what it covered on top of my car insurance that was very thorough in taking pictures and documenting the car when taking it and did the same on the receiving end. We knew it cost a lot of money and it averaged about $1,500 a car, but the cars went 3,000 miles, so, compared to other companies that were a couple of hundred dollars less, their insurance and their pickup and delivery were not as precise as Sherpa was.

I got a new car, and I wanted to send the old car, an 11-year-old Volkswagen Passat which had only 39,000 miles on it, to my son in New York. I looked at three or four different transport companies and Sherpa had the best reviews, so I went with them. Sherpa emailed me and called me, and I was impressed with how quickly they got back to me. Also, they seemed to understand what I was going for. Although I didn’t wanna spend a fortune, I also was not looking to go with cheap and have it affect the car. I told them when I wanted to ship it, and they asked me if I could move up the original date that I chose for a day or two, and I said I could. They asked me if I would be willing to wait a couple of days and I said I would, too.

I was moving my vehicle from Florida to Arizona and Sherpa came in with the lower price although it was a different time of the year. The representative certainly wanted to work with me too. He tried to work with my budget and used some good sales strategies to get me to buy. Then when I said I needed to think about it, they’ve got a really great CRM solution which pings you with an email every single day that says, “Here’s why you wanna move your car now.” So when you’re in their system, you get a lot marketing communication. But that could be both a good and a bad thing. It might be a bit excessive but the gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant.

It was like $200 beneath the others on average. The price was good and it fit to the quality of the service. The representative I spoke with was very good and friendly. He told me step-by-step what was next and I liked that. The driver was very friendly as well. The transport took about a week but they could have been a little bit early. My plane had not arrived yet and that was why I told them to stay for a little longer. The car arrived in one piece and without any scratch. Everything is good. I like the carwash refund too. It was a great experience and I very much liked it. If I got a chance, I will use the service again.

We wanted to bring our car from our Michigan northern home to our southern Florida home. We have done that before and we thought that the company we had normally done it with was charging a lot more. So we started to look into it and we researched. We've been warned that there are a lot of unscrupulous drivers out there so we wanted to make sure that a broker was going to verify the credentials and insurance. I got Sherpa through the ConsumerAffairs recommendation. Sherpa's quote was higher but there is always somebody out there cheaper and there were also others that were even higher. So we felt that Sherpa was more than fair for their quote and then there were the actual results. The original quote was also the final cost so that worked out quite well.

My son moved so we needed a car shipped down there. Sherpa's quote was a little higher than some of the other ones I looked at. But a lot of the reviews I read were not good. Sherpa's reviews were the best and I'm happy I went with them. The cost stayed the same with what they had told me and the customer service representatives were very helpful. They answered all my questions, set it up and got back to me if I called. They were very good and I've recommended Sherpa to other people. The car also looked the same as when my son left it here. Plus we had loaded stuff in the trunk and everything was there.

Two of their reps helped me but the main one impressed me with her knowledge and details. The driver picked the car up when I wanted to and delivered it within three days, which was early. The delivery of the vehicle was perfect. When the gentleman called me, he told me when he was gonna be there. The car came dirty, but Sherpa gave me $20 off the car wash and they also gave me a couple of discount gift cards. If I ever get the chance, I'm gonna use Sherpa Auto Transport again.

Used ConsumerAffairs to track down transport company for my first transport of a vehicle and chose Sherpa over a group of 5 for their references and cost. Could not be happier. Car picked up on time and delivered a day or so ahead of time unharmed by a very friendly and courteous driver. Will undoubtedly use again. Thanks guys!!!!!

I needed to get an Outback Subaru from Lake Oswego to my brother in Prescott, Arizona and Sherpa Auto Transport's quote was right on. The car ended up being in an enclosed vehicle when I only paid for an open. It was a little more expensive, but I'm glad I went with it. The car arrived at the right spot and in perfect in condition. Plus, the transport only took two days, when it was supposed to take four. Their staff was polite as well. Overall, Sherpa did a great job and I had a terrific experience with them.

I purchased a vehicle in Tennessee and needed to get it down to Florida but I didn't have the time or opportunity to go up and get it. So, after looking into a number of transport companies, I got Sherpa's service considering mostly the straightforwardness of the whole thing. There were a lot of people that were promising a lot of stuff, but it didn't really sound that realistic. They were saying that they could do it for less but it’s certainly common that people quote something to get you to walk into it, and then you run into issues when you're actually taking delivery of the vehicle. And now looking at everything that happened, the quote I got from Sherpa seemed reasonable. It would have been nice to have been able to do it for a little less, but it is what it is.

We were shipping a Saab 2,500 miles away and I had already scheduled with a company but they didn’t show. That forced us into an emergency transport and I ended up getting Sherpa’s name off of a TV ad. I also asked for recommendations from some of my other military people that I knew. Somebody else had shipped with Sherpa and said that they were good. The people I dealt with were very knowledgeable, informative and very communicative. I like the fact that they continued to send me emails every couple of days to keep me updated that they were still looking. It wasn’t just a big black hole of no contact. I was very satisfied.

I was having a personal purchased vehicle transported from Florida to West Virginia. I had one scheduled with another company but I cancelled because of their poor ratings. They also tend to underquote which makes it hard to find a carrier that's able to do it. The transport with Sherpa was handled professionally and there was good communication. There was an issue with a transaction on my end which wasn’t any fault of the driver at all, but he had to reschedule because of the pickup in Florida. It all worked out fine and I would use it again.

We moved out of our previous state and shipped a Toyota Forerunner with Sherpa Auto Transport. We checked online and relied on what the Sherpa representative told us. We completely trusted him and decided for that. The first time I called them to inquire, all information I needed were answered. We waited for the delivery of the Forerunner, but it was fine with us. The delivery was supposed to be in the morning but we got our car around 5 or 6. We had to wait but at least the delivery was done on the same day which was still good. According to the driver, he could not deliver the vehicle to the exact place because the road was narrow and he didn’t want to get a ticket so he asked us to go to another area. There was a slight problem with the time difference and we missed an appointment, but it was forgivable.

My mother traveled back and forth, but she didn't like to drive her own car down to Florida where she now lives so she flew down. She looked at three different companies to transport her car and Sherpa Auto Transport had a good rating and a price that was comparable to others. It took Sherpa a couple of days to transport her car from Swampscott, Massachusetts to the Fort Myers Beach area. Everything went smoothly with the reps. The car was picked up a few days before she flew down and it was delivered as expected. She met with the driver when she drove her car off and she was very happy with him because he's a great guy. He was very friendly and polite. She had a good experience with Sherpa and the transport worked perfectly.

I used Sherpa to transport a car to my parent’s house which is almost across the country. I got quotes from three or four transport companies and Sherpa's quote was good. The customer service was easy to deal with too. I spoke with a woman on the phone initially then I went back a month later and was given a higher quote. They were willing to lower the second quote to match the first quote so I appreciated that. Sherpa's service was good and I was happy.

I went with Sherpa based on reviews at ConsumerAffairs, and I reached out via telephone and talked to a customer service rep. They gave me the information, then I reached out to a few companies after that and decided to go back to Sherpa. I called them back and they got everything set up. Their quote wasn't the cheapest available, but I had the most confidence in it because with some of the other transport companies, they'll quote you the lowest possible price and then escalate from there. I felt more comfortable going with a slightly higher quote knowing that it would the final number.

I was relocating and I needed to have my Jeep transported 1,500 miles. I looked at half a dozen transport companies and settled with Sherpa based on the customer service, professionalism and price. The reps I dealt with were on the ball. They called me if anything changed and followed through with ETAs and updates. I was told that the transport would take three to four days, which was reasonable. I wasn't there during the car's delivery, but the people I left it to told me that it was thorough and there were no issues. The car was also in the same condition as when I dropped it off. I would recommend Sherpa and I definitely will reuse them again if need be.

I needed to transport a vehicle that had tow equipment put on the front so I could tow it behind a motor home. I looked at a bunch of transport companies and got some quotes. Then I went to the ConsumerAffairs website and read some of the reviews and the reviews of Sherpa Sherpa Auto Transport were all good so I picked them. Sherpa's quote was fine. I didn’t take the lowest quote that I was offered and I didn’t take the highest quote either. I took something that was in the middle. Sherpa transported my vehicle for me over 1,500 miles to Pender, Nebraska and then back to Reno, Nevada.

I was moving across country and I used Sherpa among 6 different transport companies I looked at to transport 2 trucks. A lot of people were trying to charge us way higher than what Sherpa charged us but I like that Sherpa has a good price. I also liked how nice the lady was in explaining everything to us. She was able to quickly answer all the question that I had. The trucks were transported for about 2800 miles and the delivery went well.

I was considering a handful of transport companies, but when I looked for reviews on Better Business Bureau, the name of Sherpa Auto Transport came up first. I had them ship my Toyota Prius from Everett, Washington to my daughter in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she moved to. The customer service reps were professional and friendly. I was concerned, though, because Sherpa cost a bit more than the regular and that's because they give the customer the real price and there are no tricks and surprises. In the past, I had a car shipped and I almost didn't get my car because I didn't have what the driver expected. I was really nervous, thinking I could not have that happen again.

I shipped a Toyota Prius 3,000 miles. I looked up 3 companies and Sherpa have better reviews online. They gave me a three-day window for the delivery of the car and they delivered within that window. However, it would be nice to get a confirmation like when it gets closer that it’s still on schedule. It might catch people’s attention a little bit better because I got caught off guard. I forgot I had a car coming in. Nevertheless, the delivery went well. A guy knocked on the door and the car was already unloaded. The papers were already ready for me to inspect the vehicle and sign. It was zero effort on my end, just for pick-up.

I was moving across the country and I've never used an auto transport. I was supposed to use my friend's but I went through some articles online and saw Sherpa's reviews and I read through them. Some of the companies that said they were number one actually had the worst reviews ever. So, I was shocked because Sherpa didn’t have the bad reviews. The setting up was pretty good and simple and the reps were nice and friendly. One lady helped me out because when I did my original quote, it was supposed to be at a friend's house because I haven't had my permanent address yet. I asked if she could send it to my new address and she helped me out to make sure my original quote didn’t go over at all.

Sherpa sounded more reliable than the other shipping company I looked into so it was with them that I shipped my vehicle. Their customer service reps were very professional and very knowledgeable. They found me a transport at first, but that one didn’t work out and they didn’t care for him either. So they found me a more reliable one. Moreover, the quote they gave was also exactly the same that I paid. The driver called the day before the delivery. They also called the morning of the delivery date to say they would be there in about an hour and a half. I ended up changing the location for the delivery and that was fine with them. Everything went smoothly.

Notification of delivery needs improvement. The sequence of events did not occur as described when booking the service (i.e. I knew the vehicle was on it’s way and an anticipated delivery, but when that time Lapsed I initiated a call to the dispatcher for clarification). I was told the driver would contact me, but only did that happen after contacting the dispatcher. And as I waited, no updates until it was already well into the evening. Ultimately the car arrived safe and sound, and despite the inconveniences, I’m still happy the service was available.

My boss had to transport his old Porsche from his Dad's house in San Francisco to his Connecticut home. So, I Googled "Best shipping companies for cars" and I came across three. There was a company that was like $400 more than the cheapest and $200 more than the most expensive. I called but I didn’t follow up with them because I didn’t like that they had a five-day pick-up window because people are busy. I chose Sherpa because I liked my conversations with them and I liked the name. Sherpas are guides up in the mountains and they guide the mountain climbers up Everest and Mount Kailash in Tibet. Also, they came in line with the other three companies for the price.

Sherpa has high ratings so I chose them over the 10 companies I looked into. I talked to the driver on the way down and the time and date he told me was accurate. Moreover, the cost was exactly what he said it was gonna be. The vehicle was also in the exact same condition when it was delivered. It’s a lot of money to ship any car, but the service was an excellent value. It was well done. I will use Sherpa again. That’s how much I trust them. I’ve used a lot of car companies being in the military, and Sherpa has by far been the most professional and easiest to work with.

I was moving and I liked Sherpa's pricing and response time, so I went with them. I filled out their online form and they called me quickly and asked me what I needed. They seemed like they were experienced, so I thought they knew what they were doing. It sounded basic, but I didn’t get that feeling from the others that I called because they took a while to respond or they sent an email instead. Sherpa, however, confirmed the details of the logistic and the dates right away. But I asked them to move the delivery date out because I wasn’t going to be there on the day of, and they were flexible about that. And the transport ended up taking five days instead of two.

I bought an out-of-state used car. I looked into a dozen other transport companies but they couldn’t get me a commitment date and a promised time. Sherpa customer service reps were very responsive. It was all done through email and they put me in touch with the driver. Also as brokers, they were knowledgeable too. They were able to find the right driver on the right route for the right price. When the driver showed up, he showed up a day early and I wasn't ready to pick up the car. We rerouted the car a little bit outside of New York City in order to get it here quicker. But then, the car got here too quickly. It was fine, though.

We're seniors and we're the victims of a fraudulent foreclosure on our home in California, so we had to move to Texas. I talked with Alicia from Sherpa and she was very helpful and very right-on. There were no ifs, ands or buts. The quote was high but yet it wasn’t because I shipped two cars for $2,700 and that's pretty inexpensive from California to Texas. The expense was worth getting our transport done and you get what you pay for. There was no running around, calling, wondering what was going on or what the deal was. It was an excellent experience and I was very pleased with the way that Sherpa handled the business. It was done professionally and it was no shady people moving my car. Their timeline gave me a chance to get here and be here when the cars were delivered. I tell people who have a car to ship to call Sherpa.

We had to have our Range Rover shipped from California to North Carolina. Sherpa is located here in Charlotte and we had them do it. Their reps emailed me and told me that they had someone to do the job and they gave me his contact information. I then talked to the driver from the California side. The car was picked up on a Monday and it was delivered the following Tuesday. We had the car delivered to an Ingles parking lot and when I got to North Carolina, they called me to make sure everything was okay and that it was delivered fine.
