We didn’t wanna rent a car in Florida. We wanted to have our car there but we didn’t wanna go by train or by car. We wanted to fly down there. So we used a transport service to move our car from New Jersey to Florida. We called Sherpa and they gave us a price. It was highly expensive but it was fair. The car came and it was in good shape. They took care of it and didn’t mess it up. Plus they met our timetable. We had set out a timetable to satisfy our need as to when we were gonna arrive and when we were gonna leave. But because of the virus, we didn’t leave Florida. Our flight was canceled. So we had to tell Sherpa we had to change the date and they were very accommodating with the whole thing. In fact, they met all of our requirements. Our experience was quite good. We were satisfied pretty much with the whole service.

I found Sherpa online, looked at the descriptions of the service, and decided to use them. This is the second time we've used them and the delivery came on time. When they delivered the vehicle, they came right to the front of the house, which was nice. The last time, we had to go up to a gas station to meet the delivery people because they couldn’t find us. It’s a pretty major street, so they should’ve been able to find it.

Sherpa showed up right at the top of a list of best car shipping things. I used them to ship my vehicle about 1000 miles. Overall, the experience was pretty smooth when I contacted them, but there was a little confusion. I set the date for the car to be available but they did not have a driver ready. I waited a couple more days and eventually, a driver was found. But I remember sending an email trying to check in because the date came and went, and I didn't get an update. I wasn't worried at any point, but I wanted to make sure things were gonna keep running smoothly. The driver was a nice guy and the car was in as good a shape as I could have hoped.

I was moving from the West Coast to the East Coast and used Sherpa to transport a 2018 Dodge Charger. I looked at a few other companies but from what I saw from the reviews, Sherpa was pretty much the better-rated company. The quote they gave was very accurate. They also answered all my questions, which relieved a lot of stress. For me, it was the hard part because I was within a week of moving. The driver was very friendly and kept me up to date all the time. The delivery took about six days in total and everything arrived in perfect condition.

I recently booked with another vendor (RoadRunner) They quoted $875, sent me a contract for $985, and when the finally had a carrier tried to charge me $1165. In frustration I called Sherpa Auto. They had a carrier in 2 hours and picked up 6 hrs later. The auto was delivered to my door at the scheduled time.

I looked at three companies and then chose Sherpa for their customer service and responsiveness. They were very confident and they did exactly what they said they were gonna do. Their quote was also fair. It was right in line with everybody else and then with their quality of service as well. We were moving and the transport was about 1,800 miles. It took about five days and the vehicle was fine. I was very satisfied with Sherpa.

I was giving my vehicle to my grandson and I wanted it shipped to Tennessee since none of us could leave because of the coronavirus. We looked up about 12 companies and it just came down to how they sounded on the phone. There were a couple ones that were a little pushy and I didn’t wanna go with them. Sherpa's price was good too. It was comparable to a couple of others.

1st time to use an auto shipper. I chose Sherpa because of Chris' upfront clear explanation of what is involve with shipping a vehicle. I appreciated calling the 250 broker fee instead of a deposit. The car was shipped from Denver to Oklahoma City. I did not receive clearance to ship until just after noon on Wednesday. I called Chris - he released my contract to picked up from Wednesday through the following Tuesday. This gives the best opportunity to be picked up within 5 business days. Within 36 hours it was on a truck. Sherpa negotiated with the trucking company without changing my total cost. The driver kept me up to date on his location and estimated time of arrival. When came time to me we were actually follow our truck at the arrival point. Our new vehicle was in excellent shape except for a lille road dirt. Used the free Sherpa car wash - now all is excellent. I would use Sherpa again - Thank you Chris!! PS the driver was very polite and helpful also!!

As soon as I did an online search, other transport companies seemed to be stalking me. I got calls and texts, and they were a bit aggressive. But I looked online and read the reviews for Sherpa Auto Transport. My husband called them and he decided to move forward with them. We had a little hiccup with the driver but it was on our end. We were bringing my son’s car from college in California home to Ohio and he had left his car with a friend. The driver was trying to contact him but was not getting a response and his friend wasn’t answering the phone. Then eventually, we got in touch with his friend and got that worked out.

Knowing that they'd be able to lock in a rate while I still worked to close the contract with the dealer just gave me peace of mind to go with them. On top of that, the sales agent that I worked with, without me saying anything, was able to identify that I'm a US veteran and offered a discount of $100. Sherpa also had really great reviews online. When dealing with such a high-value item, it's super important in terms of having credibility.

I looked at all the different ads and what Sherpa offered. I was always able to get ahold of somebody over and over again without trying to get an answering machine. There were many other companies that just wouldn’t answer or so busy that they’d say to call back and then they won’t which was one of the biggest problems I had. When I signed the contract with Sherpa, they stayed right up on it the whole time, which I was very pleased with. They let me know what was going on. We couldn’t get a shipper at first, and then we talked about what we could do to speed up a shipper. Then it was an enclosed trailer that ended up shipping our vehicle, so that was great on our part.

I shipped a Porsche 914 and Sherpa made it really easy. I had done a Google search and Sherpa has good reviews so I picked the company. And they were great. I live in Missouri but the car was in Maryland and I was shipping it to a place in Illinois to have some work done on it. Sherpa picked it up like they were supposed to, in Maryland, and dropped it off in Illinois with Porsche shop where I was gonna have some work done.

This is the second time I've used Sherpa and they were very professional every step of the way. The quote they provided was very competitive. The cost was worth the quality we received. The delivery experience was also professional and positive. The transport took about four days and the condition of the vehicle was as expected.

I shipped a 1993 Nissan Skyline about 700 miles through Sherpa after checking three other companies. I've shipped cars before and other companies typically change their price. Sherpa guaranteed their price and so I went with them. Their quote was reasonable too and they were the cheapest among the companies I looked at. Their rep was easy to deal with as well. In the end, there was a $100 adjustment to the final price because I had a special circumstance. I didn’t have anybody present for me at the vehicle processing center so I had to do a power of attorney.

Highly recommended. I tried with another company and it went South very fast. That company wasn't very informative. When I called Sherpa they were very upfront and honest. I had my vehicle delivered in 4 days which was awesome. The last company couldn't find a driver for 2 weeks. Sherpa found one in 2 days. Highly recommended.

I used Sherpa last summer when we moved. I had a contract in place with another company that I found online and it was lower priced but the pick-up date came and went two times, and they never performed. I found Sherpa and I liked that they had the guarantee where it says they'll pay more to make it happen. So, I got the contract with them and they performed great and did everything they said. It was a good experience.

We looked Sherpa up online, looked up the ratings, and decided to go with them. We called and then we ordered the move. Then they called us to let us know when they were gonna pick the vehicle up and drop it off. However, the pick up was way later than they said. They were supposed to be there in the morning but didn’t get there until late that night. My son was waiting, but it was fine. They picked the vehicle up and got it here when they said they were gonna get it here, which was awesome. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Our Experience with Sherpa Auto Transport was highly successful. They reached out to us in advance by phone and text to give us an approximate time of both pick up and delivery. The driver was highly professional, polite and trustworthy. I would highly recommend this company. Our Ford Raptor was transported across the US from Florida to California without incident. Very happy customer. Price was competitive.

Excellent customer support. Pick up was prompt and delivery was ahead of schedule. Excellent value for a cross country transport that only took 5 days travel and the entire experience took less than 2 weeks.

We used Sherpa Auto Transport last August to transport my daughter's car to college and I had done the extensive research back then. When it came time for bringing her car back, we weren't planning on using them because we were gonna drive it back ourselves. We were also hesitant to hire them again because our last experience with them was bad. Sherpa is a broker and the other company that they hired was not good, neither was the driver. I complained to them about it and they gave us a credit for it.

Sherpa's price doesn't fluctuate based on the eventual commission given to the driver. You pay a flat fee up front, they take it, and you're done with it. It was a lot easier to go with them. Plus, they have higher reviews. The first guy I talked to would've been in direct contact with the dispatchers. He was quite good at going over what the commission process was like and getting it started.

This is the first time I’ve ever used a transport service and I had no idea how the whole business worked. So, I went on the internet and tried to get a company that had many reviews, which was the big thing because you have a lot of fly-by-night companies. It seemed like Sherpa does a lot of volume of work. So, I felt comfortable with that many people using them and having a very small amount of complaints. They got a large amount of go-to people that did the work which made me go with them. Getting everything started with Sherpa was very quick, precise and easy. Then, at the end of the day, it worked out great because everything as they said was good. They delivered and I’d use them again.

Cheap prices and great service. Also the price is locked in which is important because other companies will lie on the quote and request more money upon delivery and if you don’t pay they’ll charge you storage fees anyway. I’m definitely using this company again.

I had taken the Camry from Wisconsin to Florida. And then, when the Coronavirus appeared, I did not want to drive from Florida back to Wisconsin. I wanted to have my car transported. I looked online and saw the services with the best ratings and Sherpa was among them. I looked at four companies. I have several friends who went with other companies that they had gone with before. But for some reason, I felt comfortable with Sherpa, and the transport I received certainly indicated that I was wise in going with them. It was professionally done. I would do it again.

They were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. The driver was also very professional and left me know what was happening all the time once he was in my area.

Great experience with Sherpa. They found a driver in 2 hours for my transport while other company kept me waiting 5 days and still no driver. The driver from Vita transport was super nice and responsible. His dispatcher kept in constant communication.

Car hauling from FL to MD. Sherpa delivered on all the things they stated in their advertising, car was delivered in a timely manner, they communicated with me through the whole shipping process, the driver did a great job in keeping me updated on pickup and delivery times, I have shipped a few other times. I have to say this was my best experience.

We were very pleased with the move by Sherpa of our car. We had a large time period in which we could move it and they took the time to help us find the most economical time. They carefully explained exactly what would take place and what we had to do. They followed this up with very carefully written emails. We've moved around a few times and I've got like five cars. Every time we go somewhere, I gotta ship them. Also, my hobby is cars and I ship classics now and then. I shipped three cars with another carrier and two of them came in scratched up and there was no communication. I was supposed to have at least a day before they got here. They called me an hour ahead, on a Sunday, and said we gotta have cash. It was a battle the whole day and that was just when they got here. They couldn't coordinate when they were gonna pick it up.

Arranging a transport with Sherpa was very simple. They followed up quickly, gave me a quote right away, and found someone within 24 hours. Once Sherpa found me the driver, then it was all about the driver communicating with me, and Roland, the driver, was really good. The process started on a Wednesday and I got my car on Saturday, which I thought was pretty normal, and the transport from state to state wasn't too complicated.

I found Sherpa after being unhappy with Another shipping company, I had spoken with. From the moment I began with Sherpa customer service to the end point of delivery. I could not have been happier. I lost my job, so I had to move back home and needed a transport service. I Googled and it said that Sherpa is good so I chose them but they were a little bit expensive compared to others. All was good with Sherpa, with their reps and the timeframe they provided, and there were no issues.

There was a website that took me to the top five rated transport services and it kinda gave their pros and cons, the things that they’re really good at. I determined that Sherpa was gonna be what best suited our needs based on the fact that they could give a pretty precise window of pick-up versus some of the other companies. Sherpa provided excellent service in transporting our car from Mariana, Fl to Bayonne, NJ. The transport was handled agreed upon. The driver, from Blue Auto Transport was very professional and took very good care of our car during the transport.

We shipped two vehicles from Florida to California. Everything went very smoothly. Sherpa was upfront about costs and their policies and kept in touch with us frequently. The auto transport company communicated very well with us when and where they would pick up the car and deliver it on the other end. We received the car in the same condition as when we dropped it off.

I moved from Tennessee to San Jose, California and using Sherpa was smooth and excellent. It was the same price they mentioned in the beginning and that it was the same throughout. The person who helped me register was responsive and was helpful. My vehicle was delivered on time.

The first company I went through for the shipment of my Jeep Wrangler had my deposit for a month but never shipped my vehicle. They were doing it too cheaply and couldn't find any driver to haul my vehicle. I went with Sherpa and they got us through the move. The delivery was perfect and their driver brought my vehicle right where I wanted them to.

We had to get my daughter's VW Jetta back here to our house from college 'cause of the COVID thing. The rep from Sherpa was excellent. We had done transports before and she was so good at explaining everything very carefully. It was the best one I ever had. The quote was a little hard than I wanted, but they gave me a rebate for student and military, so that helped. They also gave us a price guarantee. It was 2,000 miles from San Diego to Illinois and the whole transport was a five-day thing. They brought it to the neighborhood and my husband went out to get it. It was easy. It took him 30 seconds to go out there and get it. The courier driver was nice and the car was in perfect condition. I'm planning to use them again in August.

Sherpa told me the guarantees and if there was a difference in price, they would take care of it, which kinda made up my mind to go with them. I talked to different people because it took me a while to finally get things taken care of, but not because of Sherpa. It was on my part. However, when I called a week or so later, everybody was on the same page somehow and picked up where the other person left off. I guess they were taking good notes. Also, the time frame they gave was perfect and I got the vehicle in with no problems.

When one of my sons moved from Chicago to California, we shipped his car and used Sherpa based on the ratings online. I had to change my mind about three different times, but their reps were so calm and made me feel that it was okay. The interactions were very positive and I can’t say enough about them. Moreover, the quote was right on. The driver called my son and they met where they were supposed to meet. The transport took a lot less time than I thought. We were told that it would be available on Friday, but it came before the date on a Wednesday.

I ship at least one car a year for the past five years, and I had seen Sherpa's reviews for a while. I’ve also seen their ads for a while that’s why I went with them. I always read customer reviews and they had great ones.

Transport BMW from New Mexico to Cape Cod. Sherpa was quick to respond and thorough with their explanations. Vehicle was picked up and delivered as expected. The driver was courteous, professional, and delivered the car to our home. Very pleased with the expediency and quality of the service.

I bought a car in Ohio and I had it shipped using Sherpa. I looked at the ratings and they were the first that called me back and said that they could ship the car to Virginia. And it was the time I wanted to do it. Everything was perfect with the quote. It was for an open carrier, but they boarded it on a closed carrier and I was really impressed. The delivery was just like I was told it would be. The driver called me on a Saturday and told me he’d be delivering it Sunday, around 1:00 and that he was leaving Sunday morning. And he did what he said he was gonna do.

Sherpa is a good mover. Their customer service is pretty good too. They follow up and when I have a question, they answer right away. I like the service and especially the driver. He knew that I relocated from California to Wisconsin, which was totally different. When he delivered the car, he said, "Take very good care of yourself here." That was very thoughtful.

The quotes vary depending on when you call and whom they call to get the trucking company. The first time I called Sherpa, the quote was 1,250, and then I called them again a few weeks later, it was 1,150. I guess it goes by availability and demand for this type of service so I thought it was competitive. I was pleased with the customer service as well. I had to send them emails and then they would call me back. When I called up to see where my car was, the customer service was able to contact the trucking company to give me information about where my car was so it was really good. That was like almost immediate feedback and follow-up on their behalf. I’d give them an A-plus for that because I did not have to chase them.

I went through a lot of auto moving companies online trying to verify and make sure that they were affiliated with the Better Business Bureau. I found some. I had a lot of emails and phone calls for a long time after I made my selection. My selection was not based on price, but I based it on the fact that the company was very qualified to do the move for me. It was a big deal because it was a special car to me. I opted to go with Sherpa.

Found Sherpa to be very professional and within my budget to ship my car door to door from Naples, FL to MA. Professional people in all aspects of the transfer. The driver of the transport company was on time and kept in constant contact with me as my car made it home. Sherpa even offered a free carwash and a rebate upon completion of the shipment. I had to go take care of somebody up north so I shipped my SUV. I chose Sherpa since it was part of the top five in the reviews. I liked Sherpa’s customer service people on the phone. They were very helpful, answered my questions, and I liked their price-lock guarantee. The car was dirty when it arrived but they gave us a car wash certificate.

I was very apprehensive as I had never shipped a car before. The process and associated costs were thoroughly explained. I got excellent feedback every time I called to check for updates. The process worked exactly as described. That included the fact a third party actually oversaw the pick up of the car.

I had a Dodge Ram 1500 transported from PA to IA. I was very impressed with the way they walked me through everything since this was my first time having anything shipped. They gave me a 3 day window to pick up the truck and said it would be there 2-3 days later. They hit that mark and the truck arrived in great shape. I would use them again if I needed to have a vehicle shipped.

I was very pleased. Man was very courteous, I asked for uncovered so it would be cheaper and I got a covered one. He let me know the day before about what time he would be there the next day and the next day he called for the exact time I was to meet him. Again very courteous and made sure that I was very happy. Out of the 4 companies I researched to transport my Land Rover from Arizona to New York, Sherpa was the only one which was completely upfront with pricing including how much they were being paid. They are not the actual transport company but the broker. That really impressed me. The quote they gave was in line with all other companies. Also, the driver Sherpa got communicated with me. However, their crew delivered the car early and I wasn't ready for it. That kinda inconvenienced me. Still, things could have been completely worse. It was a seamless experience with Sherpa.

Sherpa was fantastic and outstanding. There was a level of transparency with those guys. They were upfront. They communicated quite a bit. There was no bait-and-switch. What they charged me was the cost. There was no, “We're gonna need additional funding in order to move your vehicle.” I've moved quite a bit and this is easily the best vehicle transport I've had.

I had a Hyundai four-door sedan shipped from Florida to New York through Sherpa. Everybody whom I spoke to there was very professional and courteous. They knew what they were talking about and they were very patient. When Sherpa was trying to locate a driver for me, they found two and the first one they gave was horrendous. They said they were gonna pick up my vehicle on a Wednesday and Wednesday came and went. The Thursday after, I called them and it took five times to call their lady. When she picked up, she was very nasty. That company was feeding me all types of BS. Sherpa was kind enough to reschedule the delivery with somebody else.

My parents gave us a vehicle and we had to ship it. I looked on Better Business Bureau and Sherpa didn't have complaints like some of the other companies. The driver they gave us was very personable and so sweet. He spent time talking with my parents and he took a picture with my parents next to the car. My parents called and said, "He's the nicest guy. You'll wanna talk to him forever," and it was true. When he delivered the vehicle he was great. He talked to me and he was not in a hurry. It was a fantastic experience.

I reached out to a few other companies and I ended up going with Sherpa because they offered more coverage for a lower price than others and it was a price lock guarantee. Everything went great. The vehicle was delivered earlier than expected and everybody was super professional and easy to work with.

The Sherpa rep explained their business, and what they’re gonna do. Before talking to them, I read some comments about this company and they were very positive. I made the decision very quickly. Since I have an old car it had some scratches but I got additional scratches. The person who took my car from them didn’t check it. And after that, it was too late to apply. But other than that they came on time, check on time, took car, they brought it here with simple payment. I would recommend them.

My daughter needed to bring her car to Florida for the Disney College Program. We were looking at Montway and I felt they were giving me the runaround. But Sherpa was number two on the list of the top five and I called them because I found Montway not being very accommodating. They couldn't guarantee that my daughter's car was gonna be there when I needed it there. And for them to pick it up, they wanted an extra $400. I also ended up looking at reviews and Montway got some nasty ones.

My experience with Sherpa was perfect. I’ve shipped my car several different times 'cause I'm a travel nurse, and this was by far the best experience I've had. They picked it up a day early, which was great. And I don't know how this guy got it over the mountain so dang fast but he dropped it off on time. Not only that, I was also able to stay in contact with my driver. If I would text him, he would text me back pretty much within an hour. The cost was fine too. As long as I can get my car on time. It wasn't cheap but they got it to me and it wasn't filthy dirty.

I did an auto transport search online, and Sherpa came up. I used it them for my cross-country move. Normally, I’m not big into this, but their customer service was extremely positive to deal with in every aspect. The quote was what I expected, and the price didn’t deviate. The driver did a good job as well. Everything worked out perfectly.

I’m super impressed with Sherpa. I had contacted another auto transport carrier, and they were all enthusiastic at first. They said they could work with me then they pursued me about getting things lined up. When I finally committed to lining things up, I couldn’t get a hold of them anymore, absolutely disappeared off the face of the earth. It spooked me because I was on a limited time. I ended up having to leave the car with neighbors and a set of keys with them, hoping it was gonna get moved. I couldn’t get the carrier to commit to a time and out of desperation, I went online and started looking at the reviews of car carriers. Sherpa came up with a high rating, so I called them, and they were awesome. They were straightforward and honest.

I googled, looked up the best car transportation companies, and found Sherpa. The rep who assisted me was very humble, very knowledgeable, and gave me all the information I needed. Also, there were no hidden fees, which I enjoyed, and there was no damage on the car when it was delivered. It was dirty, which is normal, but besides that, it was a very good experience.

Don't trust these people with your car! I've been telling them from day 1 that my car had a clutch problem, and that's why I wasn't driving it to my new home in another state. That's the reason it would need to be transported. So they give me a quote, and when I'm ready with the location to where they need to transport it, they tell me that they can't ship it. And yet, a regular tow truck driver moved it, towed it to my friend's house with no problem. These people are liars and have wasted my precious time. They even wasted more of my time when one of their incompetent employees said I would get a call back from their "distress team," and of course, they never bothered to call me back. They honestly couldn't care less. They are unprofessional and incompetent, and I'm glad they won't be touching my car. I can only imagine how that would've ended up, and they wouldn't have cared one bit in the end.

My daughter relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and flew out there so we needed to send her car out. We went online and I had picked a different company, and then I researched and they had very bad reviews. Also, there were issues with them that people were being blackmailed when the delivery arrived, where the car would not be turned over unless they gave additional cash. My other daughter’s fiancé's parents moved to Florida and they used a different transport and it was a very negative experience. So, that was a heads up to really do some research. Sometimes, cheaper is not better. You want reputable.

I was going with another company but Sherpa made promises that they could pick up, deliver and do that. They then quoted a price that they thought was reasonable to get the vehicle moved, but they did not follow through. I contacted Sherpa and the gentleman I spoke to on the first time said that the number that was given to me was unrealistic for someone to pick it up. And so, he then quoted a price and guaranteed it, that if it was more or less then they would honor it, which they did. They saw that the vehicle was picked up within the timeframe. The driver was very nice and courteous, and he kept me informed. He got hit in a snowstorm down in Kansas City and he was ahead of time, but mother nature took care of that.

The vehicle went perfectly. I’m having a little problem, however, with the door lock. It is like they tried to jam it with another key. But, other than that, the delivery came and everything was fine with it. Our interactions with them went very well, and the fellow accommodated us. The truck was too big to deliver it in front of the home, so we went to a nearby parking lot. It was about nine o’clock at night, and it all went very smoothly.

I needed two vehicles shipped across the country and I read some reviews from people. I went through and looked at a few different companies, and Sherpa Auto had the best customer satisfaction that I saw. That made me feel a little more comfortable. They were all good too. I didn’t have any issues with anybody. They delivered the cars on time and they were both fine. We had one little hiccup at the end though. The cars were supposed to be delivered to a residence, but because of the way the roads were, they couldn’t deliver to that residence.

My daughter needed her car shipped to where they moved in Tennessee. It was 3,000 miles or something and the way Sherpa handled the move was very good. The guy that I talked to seemed knowledgeable and honest. He shared with me that a lot of the industry challenges they have is pretty cutthroat. He also warned me about the upcharges and he told me they don’t do that, just flat fee and no more charges. I would tell my friends to go with Sherpa because everything went well.

I sent about seven emails to the different transporters and Sherpa and a few others answered. With the way everyone presented themselves, I didn’t feel too positive with them. But Sherpa was okay so I stuck with them. I shipped my vehicle from St. Louis up to Wisconsin via Tomah, Fort McCoy. Every question I had or if there was something that changed, I got an email or a phone call back. The driver kept in touch with me. He told me when he picked it up, when he was gonna be in the area and if there were some delays. The delivery was perfect. They brought the vehicle almost to the doorstep of my house. If I had to do this again, I’m more likely gonna call them.

I was moving out to the LA area and I wanted to choose the most reliable. Sherpa seemed to do the trick and Taylor was the best representative to me. I liked how easily accessible they were. They would get back to me, and what they said was gonna happen as the process unfolded was exactly what happened. It was very safe and reliable, so I would definitely recommend it. It was a coast to coast move and they said it would probably be a week without a car, but the car got there the same night as I landed.

We were moving and needed to have our car shipped. I saw a couple of shippers and both have really good reviews, but the prices at Sherpa were a little bit better, so I went with them and turned out to be great. They scheduled a pickup and our schedule had changed. So I needed to change the date, and they were accommodating and were easy to work with. I had a specific person I initiated with, but I ended up working with a couple of different people. But they were flexible about getting me a different carrier that could get the car when we needed it. And it did not change the price. The delivery depends on the driver. It was very fast and pretty simple. There's nothing that I think they could’ve done better. They did what I needed them to do and seemed to do it pretty efficiently.

You just need to be flexible on pick up and delivery and have your vehicle ready to go - when they called me, the driver was in my area within 30 minutes. Delivery was ahead of schedule so again, flexibility on consumer's part is key. Overall, Very Satisfied.

Granted I did have it in a covered car carrier, (Well worth the additional fee) but my point is not a hitch, like I said perfect. I needed a transport service to get my small SUV to Florida. It was 1100 miles total transport. I got 50 calls and went with Sherpa because they were rated highly on the internet. There wasn't any negative feedback. When I spoke to the people on the phone, they seemed professional. They assured me everything would go smoothly. They were friendly and very polite. It was first time that I had a car transported to Florida, so I was leery about who was gonna show up, when they were gonna show up and if they were gonna show up. But they assured me everything would be all right. Afterwards, up until the final period when I was getting ready to leave that week before I was getting ready to fly out, nobody had called out to pick up the contract to transport. So, I was really worried. They increased the price for the transport company to get more bids in. It was money out of their pocket to pay for the extra money, the extra incentive.

I needed to transport an automobile from Illinois to another location about 800 miles away. Their reps were great in the beginning, but in the end, they were terrible in handling my situation. I sent all the documentation to them but until now, I haven't received my rebate. It just got a little frantic at the pickup because we were not quite ready and the shippers were getting told that it was ready. But it all worked out fine.

I wanted to ship my car across the country. The other person I was going to go with didn't get back to me right away. I was a little annoyed. So, I did my research online. I wanted to see which company had a pretty good rating, and I chose Sherpa. They had a pretty good rating, but I really wasn't trying to pay another $100 more than what the other person I was gonna go with decided to quote me. I was told I was gonna get a $100 rebate with Sherpa so it'll be the same price. I'm still waiting for my refund. I'm a little disappointed about that. I mailed in the voucher and everything that I was supposed to mail in going on a month ago now. Sherpa is on the East Coast, and I'm on the East Coast. So, I don't know why it's taking so long to process that, but I feel like I'm kinda misled.

This is something that I've never done before, so it was nice to talk to somebody who was really friendly and patient answering all my questions. The delivery went easily too. The driver arrived a day early, so he just sent me text message letting me know that he had arrived. He met me at my work and dropped it off. Sherpa made everything so easy and stressless. If I ever need an auto transport again, I will definitely go with them.

I did a lot of research because a lot of companies that I found online, you'd set everything up but then they'd call you and say, "Well, we're gonna need $200 more because this is the only spot that we have open." I went with Sherpa because they had the guaranteed lock on the price. It wasn't gonna change. I didn't wanna have any last-minute problems of being more money. The only problem right now is I was told that there was gonna be a $100 rebate and I haven’t received that, and I haven’t been informed of anything of that. But I like the price of Sherpa. They told me it was 850 total and that was the fixed price. There weren't any hidden fees.

The car made it here ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. So the whole experience was great. The transport was over 1,000 miles, from Nebraska to Las Vegas.

My mom speaks Spanish and they were able to get a hold of a Spanish representative, which was kind of them. Also, if I left them a voicemail, they would get back to me even on Sundays and it was cool that they work on Sundays. They were prompt and they kept me informed regarding my car, and regarding the delivery date. They would call me just about every day. They made me feel comfortable and reassured me regarding the protection of my vehicle. The driver provided outstanding service also made me feel really comfortable. It was a reassurance that when you transport your vehicle, your livelihood is part of it.

The experience was amazing. We shipped the vehicle for about 2600 miles from Kentucky all the way to Washington State and we looked at five companies. But just from talking to the representative of Sherpa, we decided to go with them. These guys sound very professional. They gave us the quotes and it was exactly that much money -- no more, no less. However, we didn't know if it was gonna be cash or check. It would have been super awesome to know that ahead of time because when we got here, we didn't have anything. I went online and picked a company of them and found out that the minute you go online for anything to do with auto-transport, you get contacted by dozens of companies. However, the delivery guy was where he was supposed to be, both picking up and dropping off.

We spoke with Chris and the only thing that frustrated me was that he said if we called back, there wasn’t a direct line to talk to him, and so I felt a bit shaky about, “Oh, no. If something is not right, we’re gonna talk to somebody who wasn’t in on the ground deal.” But it really didn’t matter as it didn’t matter who we talked to and they knew what they were doing.

It was a good quote. It took about 12 hours for them to deliver my SUV. They said it would probably be delivered the same day. The driver didn’t get here until like 10 o’clock at night, but it was still the same day. It wasn’t a big deal. The car was perfect. I didn’t see any changes at all. The driver was very nice, too. I paid him in cash, and I accidentally gave him an extra $100 bill, and he counted and returned it to me. And that was nice to see these days.

Sherpa's response time was very quick and efficient. It was fantastic customer service. They had called and emailed to let us know every step of the way. We had our vehicle shipped for 1,200 miles and it took three days, so the shipping time was okay. The driver texted me directly and it was super easy. They actually surprised us and were able to drop it off right in front of our house. We didn’t even have to go get the car. It was fantastic. Overall, their communication is better than anybody else’s and they stick to the budget. The cost was exactly to the penny what they said it would be.

The driver that took the job was terrific, he was experienced and reassuring. He was accommodating as far as the drop off went as well. I needed to transport a car in a short time frame from Massachusetts to Arizona. Sherpa was chosen because of their positive reviews and after searching several sites that rated the company very high. Within a day of contacting Sherpa, their very helpful, customer service-oriented staff contacted me indicating the vehicle would be picked up the next day by a carrier. When I had a problem with the carrier (which was out of the control of Sherpa), I immediately emailed Sherpa and explained the problem. They had a new carrier lined up within hours, in fact, that carrier was at my house three hours after the carrier accepted the transport. The carrier delivered the vehicle sooner than I anticipated. I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service I received and a highly positive experience Sherpa provided!

I had called another company to get a preliminary quote on shipping, and it was more than what Sherpa had quoted me. I'm in South Carolina and the gentleman I spoke to who was stationed in North Carolina seemed very genuine and sincere, and that made me trust him. And then, I also got some more reviews online and I've seen many good experiences with Sherpa. The gentleman called me back, and we talked. The first company that I called kept trying to push me to make a decision or to do something. I felt like the Sherpa contact did not rush me, did not put any pressure on me, and he said, "Look, here's how we do things. These are the facts."

I almost never do reviews, but I was so pleased with the overall experience related to the transport of my car from Boston to Boynton Beach that I decided to write this review. I have used other services with much frustration and dissatisfaction, however, Sherpa offered an aggravation free experience from start to finish. Everything went smoothly and my car arrived sooner than I expected in perfect condition. It was quite dirty, but Sherpa will reimburse me $20 to have it cleaned. I'm delighted.

We shipped our ’99 Accord from Illinois to Florida and it went too easy. We were gonna spend some time in Florida and using a transport service was the cheapest option rather than renting a car or buying a new car. When I went to the Better Business Bureau, all the comments on Sherpa were very good. I called, then we signed the deal and they let us know the name of the trucking company which then showed up to load up the car. The driver was right on time. He brought the car down here and delivered it just like it was when it left. It was in perfect shape. The quote was a little high, but it was a pretty good experience. It was okay.

They were very experienced and the delivery guy was very nice. The transport took two days. The car was an old car and I wasn’t really too concerned. It was dirty when it arrived, but its condition was as good as when it was picked up. Sherpa was about $300 higher than my lowest bid, but I was worried about the no-haggle and just getting smarter and saving. So, it was good. It was what I expected.

I discovered that the auto transport industry has a lot of bait and switch. After I got about 100 emails and phone calls, I decided I’d go to a review site. Their number one pick was Sherpa. And so, I went right to Sherpa and everything went great. It was clockwork. The Honda CRV was delivered right on time and right to the house. It was dirty but it was in perfect shape. The driver was on the ball the whole time and calling me, giving me updates. I knew exactly where he was the whole time. The quote was 950 and that was exactly what it cost. There were no extra charges. Everything was right on top. The whole industry has a bunch of shysters. So, when I came come across somebody that was honest, it was refreshing.

Shipping a car, Texas to Wisconsin. Sherpa dude was informative and followed his script and we set up a plan. I’m not in a hurry to ship and the car can wait until a driver is coming by to combine it with another haul.

And then, I just took care of myself and negotiated on what I learned and I found that Sherpa Auto Transport was very straightforward. They had a good reputation, which was important to me, and so I decided to go with them.

I originally had another company lined up, and they didn't show up for the scheduled pickup of my vehicle. I had to scramble to try to find another transporter. I did better due diligence the second time around and found Sherpa's listing on a list of top shippers in the country. And so, based on the stuff I read online, I called them on that day, and they got the car set up to be picked up within 24 hours, and they did. The rep was very helpful and seemed to be very honest in what they were telling me. The price they quoted me was what I paid, and it was within what I was looking to spend. The rep was very understanding of my situation and worked to get it resolved quicker than I expected.

First of the auto Transportation niche is an absolute disaster for someone who does this every 10 years. It's a very SHADY industry. That being said Sherpa stood out far above the rest. Although they are a bit more expensive. They have excellent communication skills from sales to the time your vehicle arrives. They are very upfront and honest. In the industry they are in they are miles ahead of most when it comes to integrity. For the common person who doesn't ship cars across the country very often, I would hands down recommend Sherpa to anyone. Yep you pay a little more but the it's well worth it. Do your research. I rarely post kudos but Sherpa exceeded all expectations.

I needed to get my vehicle across the country. I looked into five transport companies but Sherpa had good ratings and when I called them, the response was good. Also, their quote was competitive and they were the same price as everybody else. The vehicle was extraordinarily dirty when it arrived but otherwise, the delivery went fine. The driver got there a little ahead of time so it was great. It was a positive experience overall.

The quote that Sherpa Auto Transport gave to me was reasonable. Their rep outlined what to look for, what to know and went through all the cost and was very transparent. The delivery was very efficient and the communication with them was great. They were able to pick the car up a day early and then they dropped it off timely. It was amazing. The car was a little dirty but that was expected. It had gone from Arizona to Illinois. It was a very good experience.

We were in the process of moving and wanted to get our 2011 Honda CR-V out to our son’s place so that we didn’t have to worry about it. We talked to several people and although Sherpa's price was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, it was the guaranteed price. And the quote was right on the button. The rep gave me a window of when the car should be picked up and let me know when they found the driver. It was picked up on a Tuesday night and got to Sacramento on Saturday. Then they had to move it to a smaller truck because our son lives in a remote area. The driver and my son talked and because my son couldn’t meet the driver that Tuesday, the driver waited until Wednesday. I was very pleased with the driver and that he worked with my son's schedule.

My mother passed away and she wanted my niece to have her car. So, I was shipping her car up to my niece. I found Sherpa through an online search and I had a very short contact with their phone representative. I got emails from them after the original follow-up and then from there, I talked to the driver directly. The driver that came and picked it up was awesome and he got it there in a timely manner. I was extremely pleased. Also, their final price was the exact quoted price. And that was one reason I chose Sherpa. They generally delivered at the quoted price and that was not always the case with a lot of the other services.

The customer service at Sherpa was excellent. They were punctual and whatever was promised was delivered. Their reps were also very concerned. They would frequently call and send emails and texts to make sure to give me information on what the process was. Even the person who delivered the vehicle was very helpful. He gave me updates and told me his whereabouts. He told me what time he was coming and when.

I'm a personal assistant and my client was moving from Florida to California and wanted his car there. I used another transport company to get it from California to Florida before but I wasn't very happy with it. Then I reached out to Sherpa and the driver was great. They went above and beyond. When the car arrived, it was dirty but with the Sherpa reimbursement carwash, it wasn't a problem. They said they would reimburse up to $20. They put the receipt for the carwash along with the bill of lading, send it to their center and then they'll send me a reimbursement.

I relocated from Washington to Texas and had a very good experience using Sherpa to transport my vehicle. I looked at two or three companies and chose Sherpa because of the price and their guaranteed delivery time. And I was very much impressed on the vehicle delivery. Also, their reps were very professional.

Everybody at Sherpa was extremely nice. They showed up when they were supposed to and everything went without a hitch. They did exactly what they say they would do. It's the best service from a company that I've ever had.

When my daughter needed to ship her Mini Cooper from Miami to California, she did a whole ton of research as far as reviews went for car transport companies. Sherpa came up very high on everybody’s list so she used them. And she was delighted. We had used Roadrunner before and they were okay, then all of a sudden, we had one really nasty, horrible driver so we will never use them again. We’ve used Sherpa a couple of times now and they have done a great job of vetting the drivers.

She had the ability to make decisions and she took care of all of my questions. The process was seamless, more so than I’ve experienced with other transport companies.

I had already moved to Texas and I left my car in Washington for my mother's comfort. She passed away, which made me take my car. I googled transport companies and I had some others who didn’t reply back to me. Sherpa did and they stayed in touch with me. They kept answering any questions I wanted to know first and they wanted my business. The customer service was awesome and we had a great interaction. I never had any problems with it.
