Sherpa Auto Transport Reviews

I asked Google who was the top-rated auto transport company, and Sherpa was among them. I needed a car transported across the country and I didn't have the time to do it myself, so I called. I have no idea about how much these usually cost, but to save me the headache, I thought the price was good. It took five to six days to finally lock in a carrier and it was a bit stressful, but after that, the experience was great. They texted me and called. They gave me a four to five-day window and I had them deliver the car to a shopping center. I didn't want any issues with going down residential streets. They let me know the day the car was arriving and around what time, and that was the day of. There were about four texts between us. Everything was good. They took care of it all and I didn't have to take time off of work myself or put any more miles on the car.

My son was working at a different location for the summer, and it was easier to transport the car than to drive it there. I Googled transport companies and Sherpa Auto Transport came up, and I called them. Everything worked perfectly from booking to delivery and it was a good experience. We'll probably use Sherpa again when we ship the car back at the end of the summer. But there could have been better communication. My son and I had to keep calling Sherpa to find out where we were meeting and what time. They said the driver would be here at a certain window. Noon came around and nobody talked to my son. He finally called the company and they said they were running late and gave another window of time.

When I searched about transport services, Sherpa had good reviews, and that's how I decided to choose them. Setting up the transport was excellent and I had a great experience. I was there at the time of pick-up and it was great. The pick-up driver was able to reach there on time, and he kept in touch with me. I would definitely recommend Sherpa 100%. I love the professionalism as well as the communication for updates. I noticed transparency throughout the process. The price was also worth the money I paid, and there were no no additional charges. It saved me a lot. There were no damages on my car. I'm sure it saved me more charges.

My brother used an auto transport company to ship a previous car, and he had some issues with them. So, I said, “Okay, well, they got the car here in one piece. Let me go with them instead.” I put in a request with them to ship a ‘92 GMC truck from Nevada to Ohio, then they took weeks to get back to me and when they did, they tried to charge me $1,000 more than the original quote. If they wanted to charge me more, I was fine. But $1,000? Their excuse was gas prices and I thought, "But it's not gonna cost you $1,000 more. That's ridiculous." So, I told them to cancel it.

I got several quotes but I was told that people were trying to lowball everything and was gonna be a bait and switch. Sherpa's pricing wasn't outrageous, and they were able to match other reasonable quotes that I had gotten. It was just a little bit of a sticker shock for how much I thought it was going to be, but it’s fine. I liked that they had a price guarantee. If the fee was gonna be over a certain amount, they would cover the difference.

Jeremiah is amazing, he helped me scheduled the delivery and tried his best to pick up my car as late as possible and deliver it as early as possible from Boston to SF. It really helped during the chaos of moving. Super grateful for that service!

First time shipping a vehicle. Sherpa generally had good reviews. Took a couple extra days from original estimate, but was with our permission. Communication was excellent, including with shipping company (Impulse Logistics). Vehicle arrived as promised.

My experience with Sherpa was excellent. My driver was professional and courteous. He rearranged his pick-up schedule to suit my needs. Their equipment (the truck) was state-of-the-art. My car arrived on the first day of the delivery window with no damage whatsoever.

This is our second time using Sherpa for a cross country auto transport and we were very pleased with our experience. Our car was delivered ahead of schedule, there was good communication about pick up and drop off windows and a very thorough inspection/photo taking at pick up and drop off. Overall, a very easy experience. Would certainly use again.
