Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I was leaving the military and I needed my car shipped back home. It was easy to work with the reps at Montway and dropping off my car was easy as well. But when it got dropped off at the location, my parents were driving the car and they were telling me the rims were making a noise. But prior to delivering my car, there was no issue with my wheels, rims, or tires. It wasn't until my car got strapped onto the carrier that there was an issue. So I had to pay out of pocket to fix that issue and I didn't bring it up with Montway because I didn't think they were going to do anything. Everything else was pretty smooth.

The quote provided by Montway was reasonable. It was a 1,300-mile transport and the driver delivered right on time. Everything was fine.

I've had good luck both times that I used Montway. Once they assign you a driver, they give you his name and phone number, and it works out very well. It's always tricky shipping a car. When they pick up your car, they don't just say, "I'll be there on Friday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon." They don't just drive from the East Coast straight back to the West Coast. What they're doing is constantly stopping along the way, picking up cars, delivering cars back and forth. They can only give you an estimate time. They get close, but they can't give you exact times. When I had the car shipped out to the East Coast, they came two days early with no notice. The guy just called and said, "I'm here for your car." Thank God we had it ready to go and had it packed. But on taking it back, they were right on time. The driver was very courteous and easy to get ahold of.

My daughter was coming back from college and we couldn't make the driving. The timing didn't work. We hired Montway, and overall, the service was good. The transport only took two days. The pickup was at Duke University, and the drop-off was in a grocery store parking lot. The guy was really good. He had driven all night, and he was very personable.

The customer service representatives at Montway worked with me. They were able to help when I needed it and respond to questions that I had. The driver called me when he was not far out from the location and I met him there. He got the truck off the truck then signed some documents. I made payment but had to wait a little while for them to show if the payment was approved. Once they finally got that situated, I was on my way. The cost was perfect. There were a few changes because I had to change location.

I was shipping my car to and from Hawaii and it was the second time that I used Montway. Both of my experiences went well. The quote was accurate.

This company is a scammer, do not trust them or give them your money. I paid them a deposit to transport my car, they never picked up my car and refused to return my deposit. Their 5 star reviews are probably fake! Do not hire them check out BBB complaints against them.

It was great with Montway. They answered all my question and there was a phone call when we got closer to ask them a couple more questions. The process was straightforward. The final cost was the same as the quote so I was happy with it. A friend of mine was there to receive the vehicle and it was fast and easy.

I am very pleased with the results from start to finish. Montway Auto Transport's quote was reasonable. It was a mid-range quote. I talked to the driver when he picked it up in Florida and mentioned the need to make sure it was there for my daughter. The driver originally would drop it off at a terminal in New Jersey and have it redelivered from there. But because of the time concerns, he drove straight to my daughter's house and delivered at her property. So, it was a real advantage. He was very professional when he picked it up. Was there right at the time he said, and the extra effort at the other end.

The rep was fantastic. I contacted Montway a month before the transport and the week before the car was picked up, we went back and forth to find out what was gonna be the day because I had to be there, but it worked. I understand that when transporting a car from the East Coast to the West Coast, there are drop-offs and pick-ups. When they say they're gonna pick it up at 9:00 AM on a Monday and drop it off at 3:00 PM on a Friday, there could be lots of things that could happen in there because people may not be there and there could be weather conditions as well. But all things considered, I was very very happy. In fact, I'll use Montway again when I ship the car back in December. They did everything they said they were gonna do.

When I communicated with Montway, they were very helpful. They answered all of my questions, were very pleasant, willing to take the time to make sure that I understood everything, and verified all the information being correct. A very nice young man showed up when they were supposed to for the pick-up and on the return, the car was here when they quoted me the date. Again, it was a nice, professional person that dropped the car. Both the pick-up and the drop-off were door-to-door and there was no problem with the electronic payment. If others need a transport service and want a professional delivery and pick-up, I would tell them to choose Montway.

I liked that Montway had positive reviews. Their quote was fair. The delivery of the vehicle was good.

My sister was selling me a car. She lives in California and I live in Washington State. So I needed it to get here. I went through all the internet stuff, and Montway looked like the best. The transport was scheduled to take two days and it took about 24 hours. I had a great experience. The guy unloaded the car and it was right there for us. Everything was fine. He was very nice and polite. He went around the car and made sure there was nothing wrong with it and handed it over to us. So it worked out fantastic.

Montway Auto Transport did a good job. They quoted the price and that was what it was, and I was happy with it. Also, there was follow up. The driver called like he was supposed to, and I wasn't there but a friend of mine was and handed him the car, and away it went. It worked out good. I've already recommended Montway and they have moved a car for a friend of mine.

Montway Auto Transport was great. The driver dropped off my son's car, and even though I arranged it, he finished everything. He said the guy was great. It was a military move and it went smoothly. The car was transported from North Carolina to Washington State, and it was a very tight location. The driver made everything happen. It was done smoothly with no worries. And when I think about moving a vehicle across country, it was not overpriced.

I looked around on the internet and Montway Auto Transport was the one that seemed the most reputable from what I could see. They did not appear to be the cheapest. But the ones that were the cheapest seemed a little sketchy. However, there was a little snafu. Montway supervised the whole thing and they had some LTL carriers that took care of it for them. One of the LTL carriers moved their sites between when I booked and when I needed to ship my bikes. Other than that, everything went very smoothly. My bikes were very well taken care of, which was the most important thing to me. For the pickup, I had to ride my bikes down to where the shipper was. I rode them up onto some pallets. They strapped them down. We went over and made sure that where all the existing scratches were. And the pickup was the reverse of that. Very easy.

The office in Chandler that we use for United Van Lines recommended Montway as a reliable and affordable service. Setting it up was done over email primarily. I handed my information over. It was easy and efficient. They were not able to get through our area with the pickup and the drop-off. The driver had to find a nearby location. He did. He contacted me to let me know where he was and sent me a link on a map. I came to meet him.

We were transporting a Cadillac SUV from Central Florida to our son in Denver. We wanted a completely enclosed carrier for that and went with Montway. When it came down to pick-up time, the driver had to change the time at the last minute. He was gonna make another stop at the other side of the state and he had put it off for a few hours already. I called the supervisor and the supervisor took care of it. He was right there. There was appropriate contact and they met my son at a mutually agreed location that was easy for the truck that was transporting it. They were there exactly the time that they told him. I would definitely use Montway again. They're prompt and efficient.

I've had very poor customer service with many other dispatchers. But Montway's reps answer the phone right away and they're available by chat. They have people with strong accents, but that's common in this industry. Each time some new person answered the phone, they were able to review my case quickly and answer my questions. I spoke to five people at Montway and all of them were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. My car was scheduled to be picked up between April 1st and April 5th. So I was preparing for that and I was expecting that sometime during that window, the agent will find me a truck. But I got contacted on March 29th, a couple of days before the first pickup date, and they said they already found me a truck. And they were ready to pick up my car on the first available ship date.

I went through a bit of a Google search and I checked Montway out, and they seem to have some good rating. I've used them a few times, and I have had good experience with them. It's a very good service. What I did was I used their guaranteed service. I didn't use their regular service. I prefer spending a little bit more money, but getting a guaranteed pickup date and a guaranteed drop-off date. They do one of two things. They will find a location that is convenient for you, or you can recommend a location that is convenient for you. So if you have a public parking lot that you can use, a park and ride that is pretty big, or a shopping center that's not too far from your home like a Walmart, they will do that.

Montway undercut the competition in price. They were cheaper than the rest of them, but they did a really good job. I had to check the reviews for the company after I saw the quote. It was so much lower than the other companies. But they had good reviews, so I went with them and I wasn't disappointed. They were very professional. Everything seemed clear and cut and dried. I didn't think the instructions were too complicated. As far as the pickup, it wasn't direct because the truck wouldn't fit on the road where my house was. So I had to meet them, but the communications were easy. The car showed up quicker than I expected.

I was looking at quotes and I wanted to find the best-rated company so, I looked at the ratings. I couldn't find a complaint with Montway and the price was reasonable. I reached out via phone and they had a couple of people immediately call back. I always received text messages and once I responded to one, I was able to just work with one advocate. They set up the time and I was able to ask questions about the security of the car, the timeframe and the professionalism of the driver. Everything that they described happened and even on the day of the pick-up, there were two representatives. One said they would look for someone for me and then, there was one that was part of the company and they were the dispatcher for the driver.

I've used Montway before and this time, my vehicle went cross-country from California to New Jersey. It took a couple of weeks and everything was good. The driver was friendly and on time when he said he was gonna be there. The cost was worth it and it was a great experience with Montway.

My car arrived sooner than what was anticipated. They told me that it was gonna be here on Saturday and it arrived on a Thursday. They did over and above what they promised. The driver was extremely friendly. He talked for a few minutes. He had one more car to deliver after he dropped mine off. The car also arrived in perfect condition. Everything was great in my experience with Montway.

I had a very negative experience with Montway Auto Transport July 2024. I paid an extra $320 to have a guaranteed pick up 7/8 or 7/9. The carrier who was supposed to pick up my car did not show on 7/8 and cancelled on 7/9. Montway had a local carrier pick up the car only to put in storage to await another carrier. The local carrier left the inside of the car filthy door panels, carpets and seats. I called Montway and they said in the contract small print they could tow the car to storage. VERY DISSATISFIED with the experience.

Montway was recommended to me by my son and after using their service I would recommend them to anyone who needs to transport their car. Although there was an issue with pickup of my vehicle that was not the driver's fault, he worked with the dealer to arrange a pickup day and time that was convenient for the dealer.

Quick pick up and very responsive. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Our Jeep arrived in perfect condition. My daughter is on an Army base, so delivery was little tricky, but they got the job done. It did have to be dropped off off of the base, so I would recommend getting a predetermined location before booking.

I would recommend to friends, family, and co-workers. The car was delivered early with 0 damage and the driver communicated with me every step of the way. This is the best transportation company! It was very easy to set up the delivery and customer service was fantastic! Thank you Montway!

After an initial miscommunication with the seller about pick up. Montway was great and worked with us to get the purchased vehicle from Tennessee to Arizona. The driver kept us informed on when he would arrive to drop our vehicle off. Would definitely use again. Montway delivered the vehicle quickly and safely.

My experience with Montway was fantastic from start to finish. I was very impressed with the service of the company employees and the contracted driver. Everyone was very nice and professional. Plus, the updates about the drivers' location were greatly appreciated. They worked with my CO to CA timeline as well.

Absolutely great company to work with who did exactly what they said they would do - great job!! Successful pick up and delivery of truck from Texas to Georgia! The vehicle was delivered on time and the driver nicely worked with my grandson’s work schedule. We appreciate the service we received - the price also seemed reasonable for the distance.

Used to transport 2 cars from South Florida to North Carolina. Excellent communication with the company, excellent pricing. Knew who my carrier was 48hr before pickup. He maintained communication via text right up to pick up and was right on time. Very through taking the cars onto his carrier. Explaining when they would arrive (before we would) and where he would leave the keys. Once he delivered the cars he sent photos of the cars and the location of the keys. Such peace of mind! These people are professionals! Highly recommended!

Car was delivered with the inside of the vehicle covered in dust. All the seats, dash, console etc. Clearly the windows were left open during transport. Requested to be contacted by a rep and no one reached out. The driver seemed professional and nice but this should not have happened for the money spent for a covered transport.

Sales was honest and prepared me well to the process. Pick-up was accommodating. Payment is the only part where I would put 3*, the last payment was cash for me, totally manageable, I am just not comfortable with cash payment. Delivery time was the same as me driving from the starting point to the Delivery place with my car!

They provided us excellent service and pickup and drop off went so smoothly and on time. Communication was excellent and I would highly recommend them! We had a great experience shipping 2 vehicles from Colorado to Pennsylvania. Our driver picked up when we needed him to and dropped off within 48 hours, which was highly unexpected. We had no damage to our vehicles and thought the pricing was fair. I would highly recommend using Montway for shipping your vehicle.

We just booked another car transport (our third time) between NJ and AZ. Everything is so easy, from the first phone call, no long waiting times. To getting a quick quote (reasonably priced), to set up a date. The transport itself was well organized and coordinated with a trucker. Last time they picked up the car in NJ on a Friday and delivered on next Monday night in AZ! Everyone friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Upon receipt of my car, the engine light came on and I smelled fuel. I took it to the BMW dealer and $10,000 later, the car was fixed. I do not know what happened nor will I ever know, but it’s just too much of a coincidence that this happened immediately after the car’s ride up to Arlington. We will drive from now on.

Brakes were operational when loaded, not working when delivered. The drivers that picked up the vet were very impressed. The car was driven the day before pickup to insure operational status. Pick up and delivery was as expected, Montway trucks were clean and appeared to be in very good condition.

Delivered as promised and beyond. My car was carefully loaded and delivered going to and returned from a special event ahead of schedule. Will use again and highly recommend. Good communication throughout. Have recommend to other drivers...

Overall I am very happy with the service provided by Montway and their partner in my case Cowboy Transport. After signing the contract, I had to reach out at least once by phone leading up to the pick up of my car, since they had gone radio silent on me. They were unable to pick up in the usual 5 day window, even though I had booked their service a month in advance, however, Brian from Cowboy Transport drove an additional 3 hours and picked up my car on the early morning of the 6th day.

I shipped a Mercedes back to Rhode Island and it took 2.5 days from Clearwater, Florida, which Montway had told me in advance. Everything went smoothly. Customer service was very helpful and the price was more than competitive. The estimate they gave me was the final cost. Montway was very easy to work with. They're a very courteous organization.

Setting up the transport with Montway was very easy and the pickup was very simple. The guy pulled up with the car carrier and did an inspection. I signed it and then, he loaded the car and pulled away. The driver was very courteous, friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. The drop-off was in Florida and they told me it was on schedule. They were gonna call my contact down in Florida, which they did, and it went very smoothly. The quote was accurate at the time. But it’s common in the industry that when they get closer to the actual pickup time, they try and weasel off a little more money. So I was expecting that. They all up the price maybe 50 bucks. And it happened on the return trip also.

The reps at Montway were really good. Colorado was receiving snowstorms, and they kept me informed as to the delays because of those storms. They got in there just as soon as they could. It was a good experience. The truck showed up at port with more gas in it than they allowed. But Montway took care of it for an additional cost and got the truck on the boat. With the delivery, they let us know when it got in, and we went and got it and everything was great. It got here quicker than we expected it to. They give themselves a pretty good leeway. So we were happy.

They seemed professional and I told them what I wanted and they came through. I set up the date, the time, and had the driver get in touch with me, and it was easy peasy to do. The quote was accurate. They took their chunk and then I paid the rest to the driver when he dropped off my cars in Florida. The final cost was a little pricey, but it wasn't bad because they didn't just put them on a garbage car carrier. It was a nice guy who had a nice truck. The car was delivered about a mile from my house. It was perfect. It was nice and easy. If I ever need to move again, I'll probably use Montway again.

Montway gave themselves a leeway of about five days to a week for the pick up. The guy was heading to Connecticut to get the car. It was about 5:15 and they closed at 5:00. This particular company, the owner died and the company became really, really slack. So I was certain that the guy was gonna have to spend the night and get it in the morning because I'm sure they're clock punchers, and they're in and out as quick as they can get in and out. But after they closed at 5:00, the guy got the car and transport. He made one stop because I was watching it on my phone. But he had that car to me within 36 hours.

The driver let me know beforehand when he was gonna get there and he got there promptly, which was around the time he mentioned. Then, towards the delivery date, he let me know about three days before when he would be arriving. Everything was delivered as fine and there were no issues in terms of scratches. It was a good, fairly simple and straightforward experience with Montway.

Horrible experience with this company. I ordered an enclosed trailer to take a vehicle from Missouri to Arizona and it turned out to be a bit too small so had a bit of damage to the vehicle which they took care of but spent a lot of my time dealing with it. They also had a problem with the trailer in New Mexico and they said they couldn't find another trailer to take it the rest of the way. It sat there for 2 weeks until I decided to fly there at my expense and drive it the rest of the way to Arizona (400 miles). I did not want that vehicle driven but didn't have a choice as they could not resolve. The vehicle had a damaged top and damaged fenders which the driver tried to cover up by painting them...paint didn't match so discovered quickly. They did pay for these issues which was appreciated but I was out of pocket for my plane ticket, fuel and time. I would not recommend this group.

My experience setting up the transportation with Montway was great. The original location was Las Vegas, Nevada and it was scheduled to take anywhere from four to seven days. The pickup was smooth. The driver was great and made sure the vehicle was on. They had a lot of pictures and the walkthrough was good as well. The quote was spot-on and reasonable too. It was overall a good experience.

I checked out a different company that was more expensive but they don't go door-to-door. I like the door-to-door. I didn't wanna have to ride all the way to Harley Davidson in Nashville, which is about an hour and a half from my house. So that was huge for me. I was really happy with Montway. They called me and kept in touch with me as it got closer. When I hadn't heard anything for a while, I reached out just to make sure it was happening, and they were really good about it. They did a great job.

They told me what time they were gonna show up. Then the guy called and he showed up when he said he was gonna show up. During the delivery, the driver had the car off the trailer and he called me to say that my car was ready and I picked it up. It was pretty straightforward.

The driver from Montway was excellent. He picked the car up on Daniel Island. He called me as scheduled. Everything was done as scheduled both times. He had some concerns about the trees and I got lucky that night. It was in the schedule but he was running a little late, but I was able to get a friend to take my car for him to pick up and then to take me back to my apartment. So, that worked out okay. The main thing is that when he delivered it, he did it right to my hotel and he was on the side of the street and I just walked right across the parking area and was able to pick up my car. So, I was 100% happy. My car was delivered before my moving van came. So, everything was as I had wanted it and as I knew it would be.

We're a military family, and Montway is military-affiliated. We took a chance with them, and everything was great. We went from Oklahoma City to Newport, Rhode Island. I got there on Friday, and I waited 24 hours to get my car. It was quick, and my car was intact. The reps were informative too. I was updated throughout and I didn't have any worries about my vehicle at all. That was the least of my worries. The pick-up and delivery guys were also nice, and I felt comfortable. We're gonna be PCS-ing again in a few months, and I'm gonna use Montway again. I have recommended several people as well.

This my second year using Montway for two way transport from Phoenix, AZ area to Mooresville, NC. I’ve had excellent results with my drivers regarding pick up/delivery timing, etc. This year, the transport driver was able to give me a great carrier location, directly behind the cab. At delivery, my car looked the same as when loaded! Didn’t need to wash it. Highly recommend this carrier.

I had a great experience using Montway Auto Transport for my cross-country car shipment after graduating in May. Despite an initial setback with a rude phone call from an agent named Jordan **, their convenient online booking system allowed me to quickly secure a reasonable offer. The highlight was the excellent service from the driver, Eugen, who was very responsive and ensured my car was delivered safely. Montway was a reliable choice, especially after being let down by another company (US CARGO), and I would recommend them for their professionalism and efficiency.

I was worried about getting our car from SW Florida to Denver in April; all the car carriers I knew about were headed to the Northeast or Midwest (Chicago, Minneapolis). And every time I called Montway, I talked to a different man from the last call who didn't know about my case but said don't worry, we'll get it there. Well, a day or so before our pickup window occurred, they called to say they had a driver for us. Sure enough, Michael was thorough checking in our car. And he got it to Denver in a quick 2 1/2 days! The car was in perfect condition when it arrived. He almost forgot to leave the car key with our friend who accepted the car but she remembered to ask for it and he apologetically gave it to her. So, all is well and we'd use Montway again. They came through wonderfully.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have never experienced such poor customer service nor I have I ever encountered such an unreliable company. I arranged two transports. The first required a guaranteed pick up day which added quite a hefty expense to the charge. The day of the pick up I called the company FIVE times to try to get some information as to when they would be arriving to get the car. The car had to be picked up by 6 pm which was clearly written in the agreement.

They moved a car I purchased from WA to MN. They communicated well and met the time expectations. There was no change in the cost, we paid what was quoted. The car arrived in good condition and the driver went over it with me completely before unloading. He did start to write something in the dust on the car before I asked him not to scratch the car. Could have been an issue...but worked out fine. Would use again.

My Mustang was delivered from Michigan to California and was delivered in great time. My car was dirty when delivered due to snow and rain and the driver apologized for the car being in the dirty condition. The driver was very polite. When it was time to unload the vehicle he asked if I wanted to drive it off the trailer. He was just kidding, but it was a nice gesture.

This last experience with Montway went very well. The transporter met my wife with our car at a mutually good place. And the gentleman from upstate Pennsylvania was outstanding when returning our car home. Occasionally there is a language problem since most of the people who help make the arrangements sound like they were originally from Russia or the Ukraine. But once arrangement's are made, everything works well.

This company was recommended by a friend to us. It’s a Great company to do business with. They were dependable, on time and very easy to work with and the cost was very fair to have our car shipped.. Highly recommend this company for anyone who needs to ship their car to a different state. We will be using them again when we are traveling from Illinois to Florida in the fall.

Marco was efficient. His equipment looked very good. He was meticulous loading the cars double checked everything. I would definitely request Marco‘s auto transport again. In addition, I was very pleased with my Montway auto transport. Communications were very detailed and concise. With their communications through Marco auto transport everything arrived on time. Cars were picked up and delivered on time. A very professional outfit.

I purchased a new car in California and was going to go there to pick it up. I decided to have it shipped instead and so happy that I found Montway. They arranged to have it shipped by a local company. It arrived as planned, (a day late because of weather) in perfect condition. I will definitely use these guys again if I need to ship a car!

Original driver assigned could not commit to transportation of car since it was out of his jurisdiction to drive from Florida to Ct. Montway expedited another car carrier who was able to pick up car in Florida and deliver car to CT as originally assigned. Very impressive with the priority given to us to meet and exceed our expectations to transport our car. New driver was exceptional. Thank you for your continued top service.

These guys were great to work with. Everything worked exactly as promised! The car arrived in time and in perfect condition. The driver was really great to deal with too. I’d never shipped a vehicle before and Montway delivered! They also called to let us know that the car was on its way. Great job, Montway!!

I have used the Montway Transport company twice now for when I moved across the country and back a year later. They were great except for there was a 3 week delay the first time I shipped my car. The driver dropped my name off of his pickup list and no one contacted me to help find a new driver. I had to contact them when no one showed up the day they were supposed to the first time. But this most recent experience was awesome! They were quick and efficient this time.

Our daughter moved across the country to attend college. After a year of trying public trans., she wanted her car. After reading reviews of many transport co.'s and getting bids for a couple. We decided on Montway and it wasn't the cheapest quote either. But we were happy we chose them. They picked up the car on the first of the five day window and delivered it early, 3,200 miles away, to our daughter's delight. We were happy with the customer service and communication with drivers. Not quite door to door, but manageable at both ends. Highly recommend Montway Auto Transport.

All went very well, it took a couple of days for a carrier to be assigned to the move of my vehicle but once that was in place everything was seamless and moved quickly. The communication and timeliness of all was very good. I was very pleased overall with the individuals that I visited with at Montway, the carrier, and the driver who took care of me.

My prized new purchase 1965 Mustang was treated with such care. I would not hesitate to call Montway to transport anything I purchase in the future. Communication was on point and driver was extremely friendly and courteous. He even sent me some great pictures of my car and sent them to me.

I liked that you got a firm price upfront, you car was picked up and delivered directly to your address. You were also kept up to date with a pick up and delivery time. Throughout the delivery you were given ample time when to expect the trucking company to arrive.

After being stood up by two different brokers (for which I missed work) I came accross Montway, I read their reviews and after seeing that several members of the military used them, I gave them a call. Within 24 hours, they had somebody picking up my car for Transport from California to Alabama. They delivered the car on schedule without incident. I will never call anyone but Montway...Others suck you in with bargain prices but can't deliver on their promises.

Montway picked up on time as scheduled. The transport was from Dallas, Texas to Palmdale, California and I called the driver a couple of times to see exactly when he’s coming and I had no problem. I was able to get ahold of him. Generally, the process with Montway was good.

It was exceptional service, being for the price and the speed of the delivery. I would use Montway Auto Transport again whenever I buy another vehicle out of town. I looked up how much it would cost for me to rent something to haul my car and gas it would cost. It would have been 300 bucks cheaper for me to do it myself. But being I’ve never hauled a vehicle before, I just figured it was safer just to get Montway Auto Transport to do it. The price was reasonable. Their quote stayed exactly the same. They took some off of it because I paid it half with card and I paid cash upon delivery. Everything was great. They gave me a number to call for the guy that was supposed to transport the car. But when I called it, they said that he was not the transporter. They fixed it and they gave me the guy's number. There was a language barrier. But besides that, it was all good. It was fast. I was surprised.

Scheduling was straightforward and everything went fine. Also, Montway Auto Transport sent texts telling me how far they would be and when they would be there.

I called Montway and told them what I wanted, when I wanted it, where I needed the truck picked up, and where to be delivered. They gave me the price and we scheduled it. It was simple. The quote was more than anybody else, but we were transporting a company vehicle. So, I wanted to go with a reputable agency and not somebody that was a broker. Overall, it was a good experience.

It was my second time using Montway and it was excellent. They kept in contact during the transport because we would get email updates. Everything went flawlessly and the quote didn't change. Montway provides reliable services at reasonable prices.

I had two cars with me on a temporary assignment in Salt Lake City and I needed to ship one home. I contacted two auto transporters and Montway seemed the most responsive to my needs. But when setting up the transport, it was a little bit on the strange side because you get an email from Brian or Al, but when you' talk to them, they appear to be an Indian-operated business. So it throws you off. They just use American names for contact purposes. But they always had the right answers and they had a methodology that worked. So I used them.

Montway did a great job. They set me up and gave me the information as to when the car would be picked up from the house in Florida and when to expect it to be arriving in Indiana. The car got to Indiana before we did. It was my brother who I had it delivered to and he said the man was excellent. The rate was fantastic as well as the service. We had looked at another place and it was a couple thousand dollars. When I called Montway, I was amazed that they transported it after they had enough cars on their truck and we paid $79.

The driver was able to get the car moved in the window that I needed. He met us at the storage unit. We pushed the car out of the storage unit, and he winched it up onto his trailer. We got to the house five minutes before him so we could have the garage ready to offload the car. We were able to drop it right into the garage. Everything went smoothly. It was good service and we're satisfied.

It's been excellent with Montway. We have shipped four cars in the last four months through them. There were typical delays in booking but other than that, the drivers were flawless and everything showed up on time once picked up. They've always been the most reasonable from a pick-up booking time and consistent price-wise. This last one, they couldn't get a driver to pick the vehicle up at the rate they quoted so they asked for an additional $50, which isn't unreasonable. From the time I paid that, it was five days until it was picked up which was again, not unreasonable. The other three ahead of that transport were spotless.

Montway Auto Transport came back in a timely fashion with respect to getting me the information that I needed in order to make a decision. So we could move forward quickly. I filled out an application online, and they quickly came back with some initial questions and a proposal. And it was about lining up dates once I made a decision at which they would pick the vehicle up and schedule the delivery to the location it was being delivered to. I could tell that they handled vehicles before, moving vehicles across country. Got me the information I needed and delivered it on time at the price we agreed to with no issue. Also, they brought it to the location I had requested. It was a straightforward process. They did a good job.

Montway Auto Transport was very good. They seemed reliable. They were able to do it in a timely manner. Also, I was able to know when the driver was coming. I would use Montway again if I need it.

It was great to work with Montway. They were upfront. I would have paid a little bit more for the service that they gave. No matter how much it was, it didn't matter to me because it stayed the same the whole time. There were no unforeseen fees. I had a lot going on in my life, and they were able to take one of the bigger stress points of that move completely off my plate, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way, and went the extra mile at the very end when it counted.

I've used Montway multiple times and they've always been good. I would recommend them.

Montway's customer service is extremely well. The driver, Ivan, was wonderful. I reached out to him the day the vehicle arrived after I'd gotten the phone call from his home base that he was here though I already knew because I could see it on my phone. I was a little concerned at one point as I thought it would arrive sooner than the delivery time, but it arrived at the delivery time. We met exactly where we said we were gonna meet.

We got quick response from Montway. They assigned a carrier right away. This is our first time ever transporting and we did it in one of the carrier's enclosed units. The driver was wonderful. They kept us informed of the progress and the vehicle came early. Truly, it was seamless. The customer service was excellent. We were very happy. In fact, I've already recommended them to a couple other people.

I loved Montway and I would use them again. The quote was great. I called multiple others and they were the one I went with. I have a car dealership and we try to transport our own but if we were to need a company, I would call them. They were on point and I didn't worry about anything. They contacted me with anything. They estimated when it was getting delivered. They kept in touch when they were an hour out as well as when they were 30 minutes out. And they called upon arrival. They delivered the car right where they said they would. There was nothing misleading and nothing off-time. The experience was excellent and I would refer Montway to anyone.

Everything stood out, from figuring out a quote to getting the pickup and delivery schedule. And the cost and notifications of the update of my vehicle were solid. I did everything over the phone, but everything was smooth and easy. The rep got my information. Everything was clear and understood on both ends. I waited on the date, and everything was still smooth after that. Even when I told him about my car being lowered, because most shipping companies don't handle a lot of lowered cars unless they're high end, he understood and assured me that the tow truck that would pick up my car knew what he was doing. And as long as everyone understood what was happening, it was easy.

They delivered what they promised and it was fairly quick. It was in Alabama and it was between three and five days. The guy called us the day before and told us he was picking up the car at a certain time and he was gonna deliver it at a certain time. They also quoted me one price and when they arrived, it was the same price. They did not put an extra penny on it.

I was satisfied with the quote given by Montway. I was mostly positively impressed with them. However, the person picking up my vehicle was going to pick up my vehicle on a Sunday. I waited around that particular Sunday for him to come and pick up my vehicle and transport it. But he did not come on Sunday. He came on a Monday morning. But he was responsible and reliable. At that point, I had to sign some paperwork and that was fine. He told me when he would deliver the car and he did fine with that also. They told me they were coming in the morning and they came in that morning. They did not give me any difficulty. They took the car and the driver said when the car would be at its final destination. I said, "That would be satisfactory." When I got to the destination, the car was waiting for me.

Montway did a great job. They did the transport way faster than expected and I was very pleased. I like that it was very quick and done very professionally.

I bought another car and used Montway again. The person I spoke with was very friendly and walked me through the process. He called back when he said he would. I called him a couple of times to ask questions, and he was right there answering all the time. There was one call missed, but he called right back. However, they contacted me wanting to know where I was picking up the vehicle and I was the person doing the ordering. I had to give them the number, so that might be a step that they need to work on. But they called the lady I bought the car from and scheduled when to pick it up, called me, said it was on its way and when I could expect it, and everything went as said.

This was my first time doing a transport, so I was a little worried but everything with Montway was seamless. They take pictures of the car beforehand in case there's already a dent or a scratch on it. They told me the time slot they were gonna deliver the car, and they did. They met me exactly in front of the house that I had given the address for. I thought it might take almost a week, but this was the fastest service for me because my car reached within a day. Even though their first language was not English, the communication was still there. They were able to update me every now and then. Another thing that I liked about it was the trailer was covered and the car was in a very good condition. The fee was very affordable as well. It was the most reasonable amount that I came across.

There's damage to the windshield and the roof. It's a $4,000 repair. But it's not the driver's fault. The car was on the top of the transport and must have gotten hit by a rock in the windshield. Neither the driver nor us noted it until he left. It's on the top, right where the windshield meets the roof. I called him and asked him to come back and take a look at it. He came back and agreed that there was damage to the car. It's an Act of God and we turned it over to our insurance company. They'll take it up with Montway and see who pays.

They were great. They were communicative and responsive to my questions. The quote provided was fair too. The guy called, said he was gonna be there. Showed up, unloaded the vehicle, paid him the money and was out. However, I told them when it had to be delivered because it was going to a business and they called me during the weekend. That was upsetting because they told me it was gonna take two weeks for them to turn around and bring the car back. I was like, "No, that's not acceptable. You have to bring it on the day that you said that you're gonna bring it." But they fixed it, so we didn't have a problem.

My experience with Montway was very good. It was the first time I've ever had to transport something, and everything went according to what they had said it was going to be. Their customer service rep gave me a quote, and they stood behind their quote. He was very pleasant. He helped me. He emailed me at times and didn't keep bothering me until I made my decision. Montway was not the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either, but I was very pleased with the way everything went.

The pick-up of the vehicle was a little sketchy. I had communication with the transport company and their timelines kept changing when they were gonna pick the car up. That bothered me but they showed up and picked up 7 o'clock at night. They decided they could not come in the resort we were in. But that's not true because I've seen a number of 18-wheelers come and go out of there. I had to go outside the gate of the resort and meet them on the side of the road. The guys that picked the car up seemed to know what they were doing, but I had asked for documentation of the pick-up and got nothing. My car was heading down the road with a guy who'd given me nothing to say he picked it up. I called Montway back and alerted them to some of my concerns. It ended that I didn't need to be concerned because we finally got the vehicle. We had to have 500 dollars for the cash for the drop-off. It was smooth after that.

We got a car from a family member in Atlanta and I had it sent to Seattle thru Montway. I called and got a reservation. They called me back and offered a date that didn't work for my family member on the Atlanta side that it was on. So, we had to pick another date. So, they called back with the second option and that worked for both the Atlanta side and the Seattle side. Once that was going, I got a driver assigned, then the driver contacted me and I put him in touch with the Atlanta person. So, the transport took a little while to get scheduled, but once it was scheduled, everything went smoothly.

I had my wife's car shipped thru Montway. Their process was straightforward and pretty smooth. I had to go drive the car down to the port of Honolulu and drop it off there. Then the pick-up was in Orlando, Florida. I picked it up a mile and a half away from my house because in my neighborhood, you couldn't really put in semis. So the driver and I had to meet at the nearest gas station. I dropped it off February 4th, and by February 26th, it was already in Orlando. That was really quick.

I transported a 2013 Dodge Avenger thru Montway from D.C. to Georgia and I didn't have a problem with them. The quote was pretty accurate and they were professional. The delivery was extended out a week longer than I expected and when my vehicle showed up, the company that they used for the transport cracked my grill. They got really unprofessional and it was disappointing. They didn't offer anything and talked so nasty that I felt really uncomfortable. So I just stopped the communication with them. If Montway uses the same contractor I wouldn't recommend them.

Use Montway Auto Transport. I've used them several times and have had no issues. They did a good job. It didn't take the driver long to get the car and long to pick it up. It all went smoothly.

I like Montway's price. I had them move my vehicle from New York to Colorado. It was a smooth process. Delivery was as expected. The drivers were good, and my vehicle was as described and as expected.

Use Montway Auto Transport. They did a fabulous job. They were on time. They did everything right. They texted me and let me know that they were arriving. They also texted me when the car was dropped off, and called me when they were delivering it. The driver was professional.

My experience with Montway was great. The cars got there ahead of time, safe and sound, with no damage and they communicated throughout. They said that there was a way to track where the car was, but I was never told about how to track it. That was my only gripe with it. But with one of my cars, I could track it and I was able to keep an eye on it. Pick-up and delivery were great. I let the driver know that the street where he was dropping it off might be a little tight. There’s a parking lot behind my parents' house, and I told him to drop it off over there, and he did. That was very nice. I would definitely use them again.

I was impressed with the process at Montway. They contacted me when they arrived to pick up the vehicle. Through every phase, they sent pictures. As they transport the vehicle, if they were gonna be late, they would give me a call and say, "We're gonna be a little late. Do you mind?" They would let me know and they would keep me abreast of everything that was going on through the whole process. Where I live, the street's too small to fit the truck down through there. So I volunteered and told them at the beginning, I would just meet the driver. The gentleman who delivered the vehicle was very engaging and pleasant to work with. He backed the vehicle out for me, put it down on the ground. It was perfect. The quote also didn't change. It stayed the same throughout the whole process.

My experience with setting up the transport with Montway was good. But in the future, I will not be using a broker, because when there's an issue with the transport, the broker doesn't take responsibility. They pass it along to whoever the actual shipper is. When there was damage to my vehicle the broker sent me to the shipper and the shipper sent me to their insurance company. Their insurance company said it was a $2,200 in damage which was under the $2,500 deductible that the shipper had. So I was told to go back to the shipper. But the shipper now would not return my phone calls. So, today I stopped payment on the credit card and maybe now we can have a conversation with them.

I had Montway transport a Jeep and a car. Both of the reps who helped me set everything up were good. They were good at communicating. We had a couple of issues at first, but we were able to get it solved. The pick-up for both cars was quick. We were in an apartment, so I had to drive them out of the garage. Then they were on the side of the road and I left them there. They picked them up and took them away. Delivery was easy. They were able to pull them right into the house. Montway is an easy service. They're able to work with you in terms of times and dates, and it wasn't too bad on price either.

I'd recommend Montway. The service was excellent. They stayed in touch once we got them to commit. It was a little tedious to get them scheduled. But once we got it scheduled, it came off as they indicated it would.

EXCELLENT! Expedited service and delivered in pristine condition and on schedule as the company promised. Their driver is a good communicator who took pride in his work and who was very appreciative of my business. I definitely will use the Montway Auto Transport agency again for all of my future transport needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning to transport their vehicle.

Montway is good but I had a problem with trying to get them to commit ahead of time that they would pick my vehicle up and take it back to Florida. I reminded them that they said they would guarantee me that the car would be picked up before I take off from Florida. It got to a point where they were having a tough time in getting somebody. Most of their people didn't have that many customers going to Florida, so they were having a hard time getting somebody to take it. So, they had me pay $200 more to guarantee that they would pick the vehicle up the day before I leave. They did pick it up, but they were not able to ship it all away. They took it to Elgin, Illinois and set it there. Then they were gonna try to get someone from Elgin to take it on to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I live. But I was gonna be leaving town again. I gave them a window, and I needed my vehicle back. They found that they couldn't get anybody.

I had Montway ship my SUV. The one woman was very good at returning my calls and answering my questions. The other guy was very abrupt and wasn't willing to make any adjustments or movements. Other than that, I really like the service they chose. They were very good and very communicative and stayed in touch with me, and informed me of when my car would arrive and if there was any delays.

They were great. Their quote was also fair compared to what else is really around. It wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the cheapest.

I used Montway twice. I was happy with their services the first time that I used them, so I chose them for a second time. I requested a quote. Somebody called me. We talked over what my needs were, and they set everything and scheduled the pick-up. A few days before the scheduled pick-up, the local driver who was supposed to come and pick up the vehicle called me and we set up a window on the day that he was supposed to come and pick the vehicle up.

The job Montway did getting our car from Little Compton, Rhode Island to Seattle was excellent. The cost was expensive, but they accomplished what we needed to. Customer service was slightly ragged in the sense that I wound up speaking to a couple of different people but it was good. I plan to use them again at the end of June.

Easy peasy!! Called these folks, they came right out, transported our car across the country and delivered on time. Nice people to work with and will use them again. The folks that arrange the service can't be any more friendly. They are AWESOME. Happy to call them in the future.

Montway's rates are more affordable than some of the others. They were also quick to pick up the car from its location and deliver to the destination. Some of the other places would take a week or two. Montway is great to work with as far as making the arrangements for picking up my car and scheduling pick-up and drop-off. I scheduled a pick-up then two days before the pick-up, I had to postpone it. They were always understanding that I had to postpone the pick-up. They put it on hold for me until we finally got the car done.

The pickup was in Mountain View, California, and the delivery was in Buffalo, New York. My husband did the pickup part for me because I was already at the destination, and he said it went smoothly. My husband told me about the driver who did the pickup and said he was nice. When the driver got here, it proved to be true. The driver went above and beyond. I needed to return a rental car and he drove my car. He helped me return my rental car before he got back in his truck and continued his route. He was amazing. He’s a really nice person, and that makes all the difference. The vehicle was delivered in the condition that it was originally in as well. I was able to pack things up into the car, so it helped me with the move itself. It was great. Overall, I had an amazing experience with Montway, and it was because the driver was so great, like a human being.

The only criticism that I may have, and this happened last year as well with the driver, they spoke no English at all. Last year's driver spoke into his cellphone and it came up on there and I had to read it. The gentleman who picked up the car yesterday was very nice, smiley and I asked him where he was from. He said, Ukraine, and I welcomed him here. I asked him how long he's been in the country. He thought for a second. He said, "Two weeks." And his English was almost nothing. But everything else has been fine and the experience has always been good.

They did everything exactly as they said they would. The driver even sent me a video of putting my son's car key under the mat in the car. They communicated thoroughly and well with us. Any time we called them, they were easily accessible by phone, which I know is an issue with other friends of mine who have used car moving services. I would definitely hire them again.

I liked Montway Auto Transport's insurance coverage. Also, the driver was on time and friendly. I had to have him drive to a Walmart because our address didn't have room for him to pull in. So, he was accommodating. As I pulled up, the car was ready to drive off.

Transported 2 cars from Northern CA to Central California in great time, very knowledgeable on cars and how to handle classic cars. We felt at ease. I ship several cars a year. I have worked with Brian ** and he has always provided the best of service when setting up a pickup and delivery. All haulers have delivered on time with no damage. I will continue using Montway in the future and feel they will continue providing good service and good haulers.

Whenever I had question Montway was easy to reach and very helpful. Great communication from the driver and easy load and unload. They made sure to accommodate my pick up date worked for my moving schedule. Driver made sure the delivery was close to where I was staying and easy to find. Had no problems and my Jeep arrived in good condition. I would recommend Montway. They were wonderful!!

The transporter went out of his way to get my vehicle to me sooner than promised, count on me for a repeat customer….

I had 2 vehicle that had to be picked up. They made me pay $800.00 extra just in storage fees because they took too long to send a carrier to pick up the vehicles. The order was put in weeks after. I spoke to the supervisor thinking that he was going to help but he wasn’t no help.

My car was received within days of it leaving Santa Monica, California and arriving in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Very good level of communication throughout the process and the car arrived safely with no hassle. Price was also competitive against other providers that are offering the similar service. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! On April 23rd, they picked up my vehicle in Fort Myers, FL at 9:30 at night with a tow truck because the auto transport company never picked it up from us. I paid extra for Guaranteed Pick-up with an estimated delivery date of April 26th or 27th to Cape Cod, MA. They contracted with another carrier for pick up at the storage facility on April 27th or 28th with an estimated delivery of April 30th. The 2nd carrier canceled and almost a week later, it is still sitting in a storage facility in Ft. Myers, with no date for delivery. I have reached out several times to Montway and they just continue to say that they are working on it. They do not stand by their contracts. Once they assign a carrier they charge the full price and offer no support. Again...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Maybe it is just luck of the draw but when dealing with a company like this that brokers transportation like this I guess sometimes you're going to be assigned a driver that makes you so untrusting of the process that you end up paying an exorbitant amount just to cancel. So $250 down the drain because their driver didn't want to pick the car at our home because he didn't think his truck would fit. Nevermind our neighborhood has semi's in it multiple times a day. The emails afterwards about how they charged me a cancelation fee but want me to consider them again in the future are just icing on the cake. Recommend to friends and family? I wouldn't recommend them to my enemies.

I knew of when they were coming to pick the car up then I got a text two days before they dropped it off. It was a quick delivery, especially from California to Virginia. But all the dirt from moving the car was inside the car and it wouldn't start. The guy jumped it.

There were so many of them I had to deal with but I finally ended up dealing with a manager who was very helpful, efficient, no nonsense and had a nice smile. I got good service with Montway. If there was an issue, it was dealt with. There was just a language barrier every once in a while.

And within half an hour, he was there on my street. So, it went well. I would probably use Montway again since I already went through them once.

Montway seemed to be a big company and it was easy to set up. The transport from New Jersey to California took four days and the communication with the driver was good. I was texting him.

The way we were flying in and driving in, we weren't sure if we were gonna be here and if we needed to have someone here. I reached out numerous times to get clarification on different things and I always had an immediate response from them.

The crew was good. They always kept me up to date on where they would be and when. They showed up and seemed to handle the car with care.

He told me about when it would be delivered. It was within a day or so. Apparently, he had another transport on his vehicle and took it down. He was very courteous. I paid him and he went his way and I had my car. I had worked with Montway before and they did an excellent job before too. So, I just stuck with them. Their customer people also called me to see if there were any issues with the transport. They did a follow-up.

Given Montway's price, there were others out there that were cheaper, but I was willing to pay knowing that I'd have a good turnout. The driver was ahead of schedule and that helped out a lot 'cause I didn't have to pay for a rental car longer.

My brother-in-law dropped the car off, had them pick it up 'cause I was getting on an airplane, and they showed up in record time and it was clean and fine and it worked great. I never saw the driver. They brought it here to a yard and unloaded it, and they brought it in a smaller rig to my address. I talked to that guy who didn't drive it. He was a fill-in. They had two drivers, so they kept running, all the way here. I'd use them again.

They were very professional. They explained everything in detail, what to expect, the time frame and the cost. The transport was great. They were accurate with the delivery time. They were also courteous. They took pictures all the way around. The delivery worked out very well. They called, told me they were near and went out to the main road to where I live to pick up the vehicle. I just wish the car would have come back a little cleaner, but it was great service.

I had a great experience with Montway. They picked up the truck on February 5th like they said they were going to. The young man that picked up the truck loaded it up, strapped it down, and everything looked good. He knew exactly what he was doing and was very cordial. It got delivered to San Diego JBA Speed Shop by Friday. I plan on using Montway to pick the truck up and bring it back home.

The guy from Montway was straight to the point and decent. I called way ahead of time and they followed up with me when it got closer to the date. The driver showed up when he was supposed to and bent over backwards for me. He did me a big favor and I gave him a giant tip. Whether he works for them or he’s a sub, he’s just a great guy. He took my cell number and called me. He told me to call him if I got any questions or to find out where he is. And I did, to make sure that I was staying ahead of him getting here because I had to drive one of my vehicles. I drove one of vehicles to Pennsylvania so I didn't want him getting here and me not being here. So, the way we figured it and the way it went down was perfect. It was a plan on the fly that worked like we planned it for years. It was probably one of the best things that I've done in a long time where there were no hiccups. The quote was on target and I did a cash deal so it was a little bit less.

Montway did exactly what was expected of them to do. They were timely and responsive. I had used them before, so I went back to them. I had them get my Hyundai Santa Fe SUV down to Florida for the winter season. They're very accommodating considering I don't have a lot of leeway with timing because my husband is on dialysis. It was imperative that I know exactly when the car was leaving here and when it was arriving at the destination, so that I can make arrangements to make sure he got to dialysis in both locations. They worked with me on that.

Have a small collection of automobiles. I Have transported many cars both domestically and internationally. Montway Transport ranks at the very top of any of these transports. Impeccable service. World class is my conclusion.

The communication with the driver was a little difficult. He was Spanish-speaking. The delivery was also a day late, so I wasn't really thrilled. But he was very polite and he apologized for the car being late.

My experience with Montway was good, but there were some lapses of communication in certain parts. Even after I already made the reservation, I kept getting text messages. “Do you wanna have your estimate?” I'm not super tech-savvy, and I thought, “Wait, did this go through? Did it not?” However, the guy called me. The location pick-up was a little off though. At the time, I was renting an apartment in Asheville, and they said they were gonna come right there, but then he messaged he was somewhere else. Luckily, I was in a situation where I could be by my phone, but I could see how if I was at work, I wouldn't be able to be as quick to pick up on the details of the message.

Montway was great. They communicated well and took care of what I needed. We didn't have any problems. They pulled into a large area and let me know where they were via phone call. I was able to find them and get my car on the truck. The driver was professional, and he took his time, took pictures of the car, pointed out anything and asked if I had any questions.

I was going out to Arizona for two months for vacation and I wanted to have my car out there. I picked Montway primarily because of their rating, the Better Business Bureau, and with the number of transports that they do and their online website to indicate most of the people were customers who were well satisfied with their service. It cost me about $300 more than some of the other transport services, but I felt that Montway was a little better quality service.

I called first to inquire about pricing and how it works. The guy was very quick to get back to me and explain. He explained everything in detail. He made everything quite clear for me. Then he sent me some emails to get their time booked. Overall, everything was good. When we scheduled the pick-up, the driver told us where to go and when he'd be here. He was on time. He also gave us enough notice in advance to where we could rearrange our schedule to make sure the car was there for him to pick it up. Everything was great. As far as the delivery, my son said there was no problem. It was quick and simple. The communication was great. I would recommend them to anybody that needs to transport.
