I bought a Mercedes SL63 in another state and had it transported through Montway. It was my first time doing that, and it turned out the best. I hadn't even seen it with my own eyes. When the driver picked it up and took his pictures, he saw no damage and wrote it in the report. When he brought the vehicle, everything turned out amazing. His eyes and his pictures helped me validate what the dealership had sent me.
Everything went exactly correct, including the price. The delivery process was perfect. I contacted the driver several times, and he accommodated me by passing up sleeping in the hotel. He got the car delivered eight hours before the agreed time. He was absolutely amazing, so I tipped him. These people deserve everything.

Montway did 100% all the way through the board. They said the transport will take five to six days, but it was done in three. They were amazing from point A to point B. The two drivers, a woman and a man, were phenomenal and kept me updated every couple of hours till we got there. It was quite the experience. We are gonna be using them again to get my son’s car back from school. I would highly recommend them to anybody because it’s the easiest way to transport a vehicle with less hassles and no drama.

I was relocating and needed to ship a Honda Accord from Seattle to Boston. I checked about three companies and went with Montway to do it because of their committed date of pickup. I did everything online and their online tool was really good to navigate. The quote they gave was competitive and the final cost was reasonable. It took about seven to eight days for my car to be shipped.

Montway was fantastic. The entire process was a piece of cake, pretty smooth, and I had no problem. They just had the vehicle for two days and were there at Northern Colorado the next day. It was a pretty reasonable experience.

I moved from Ohio to Florida with three cars. I discussed the distance and the prices with the Montway representative. They gave me a good quote. I could have put one vehicle on a trailer and moved it down here myself for about half the price, but with the logistics and staying at a hotel, the cost was fair. Everything went as planned.

Definitely a company to avoid. I paid $4400 for them to ship my pickup truck from New York to Kauai and it arrived one month late because their carrier missed the container drop-off window, then missed another container drop-off window and finally made the 3rd attempt. They asked the car be driven 30 minutes from the pickup address since their truck was too big for residential areas so the truck had to be driven to the nearest Home Depot at midnight! When I told them they should help pay for the added one month car rental their customer service rep actually told me that "it was my choice to rent a car" probably because that person never lived in the US and thought I could just walk 30 miles per day to get around Kauai.

Montway’s price was competitive. The other group I was initially gonna go with was not able to deliver to the area that I wanted the vehicle to be delivered to. Montway had good people. The pickup was well done. The only thing I didn’t like about the service was that the travel time for the vehicle to be transported was supposedly two to four days. Given that, I would have time to wiggle things around and double-check on some things. But they delivered the vehicle in a day and a half and that was not necessarily wonderful. All of a sudden, everybody was running around to try to make things work. I was not notified of the progress made and I needed to coordinate the drop-off with people that were 200 miles away from me. I was not the person to receive the vehicle and I had to make these arrangements. It was a hard-to-coordinate thing.
The destination was on Nantucket Island. The delivery guys could not deliver to the island, but they could deliver to the port where the ferry would eventually take the vehicle to the island. That was difficult. It would have been helpful to have more notice of when the vehicle was expected to be dropped off so I could coordinate better. I had to drop everything I did for probably a couple of hours to rearrange and connect and find out if we could have the vehicle dropped off in another place due to restrictions of the Steamship Authority ferry not wanting to have a vehicle stuck in their parking lot for an undetermined amount of time.
That aside, all the conversations were great, the price was reasonable, and the vehicle was delivered in great condition. Give Montway a shot and compare the prices. The quality of the service is great and I was very happy with it. If there’s gonna be a tricky drop-off, be very clear with them that you want more information about it. In our conversation, we had a day’s notice on the pickup time. Montway was just a couple of minutes late. Everything was fine at the Virginia end. It was just the running around to make it work on the drop-off that was my complaint.

I liked the promptness of getting stuff transported with Montway. It was being done over the weekend and I had a short timeframe. I needed the car here on a certain day or a weekend. Montway was able to get me the transport that I needed. Working with them was good and the experience was very satisfactory.

I've had Montway's contacts for a long time now. I used them once when we moved to California. The customer experience was good. They were pretty helpful and also explained everything pretty well. They were clear on what was going to be charged and the process. The quote was also fair.
They accommodated pretty well. We moved from a residential area to another residential area and the driver was good at communicating where he was going drop off the car. We didn't have any issues with that. But one of the cars that was on top was leaking some oil on the front of our car. When it was delivered, the driver cleaned it and he even gave us a discount. He handled it pretty well. I have recommended Montway.

I picked Montway after I saw they had business with the Better Business Bureau. I had purchased a vehicle and I needed to get it to my daughter in Atlanta. The experience with the organizers was good. We stayed in contact, they sent me emails, they answered questions for me. Once they said that I had a pickup, I talked to the driver on the phone and he very pleasant.
I was available at pickup and my daughter was available at drop-off. During pickup, the driver was able to pull up on the side of my property in front and we pulled the car out of the driveway and he put it up on the transport. That was fine. He was very nice. He had a whole transport trailer. He pulled it in and it looked like it would hold five or six cars. I was pleased with that. I felt comfortable knowing that he knew how to maneuver, the car was gonna be safe, and that he got it to my daughter like I sent it.
The transport didn't take long. He told me when he was coming. He got in contact with my daughter and they worked it out. Very pleasant and professional. Montway did a good job getting it to her. She didn't have any damage to it.

The experience with the Montway coordinator was okay. They seemed to know the details and reassured me. The final price was completely accurate to the quote. It was fair and it was pretty average or a bit less.
My husband was here for the pickup and we were both there for the drop-off. The drop-off wasn't a problem. They did a great job and it was quick. They kept us informed of when they were arriving and we met them and drove it off. It was pretty easy. The condition of the vehicle was fine and there was no problem.

The representative at Montway was okay. The only problem I had was about the misspelled name. The recipient was not my name. I called them back, and they fixed it. Montway is a broker, and they had the Cowboy Transport.
I'm the shipper, and Cowboy actually brought the vehicle directly to the delivery. They communicated very effectively. So, I was able to get that done without any problem. I had a good experience with them. Their website was also very good and easy to use.

I was looking for a way to transport my car, and Montway is the biggest in the country. Setting up the transport, pickup and delivery were all easy. My car went from Miami to Texas, across 1,600 miles. Communicating with the driver was good, and I was happy with the cost too.

Montway was fine. People had positive reviews on the internet. Communication was also positive. I had no bad experiences at all.
I do think they scratched my car. There was a scratch at the back of my car and I got an alarm that my Mercedes was in a collision. When we called the gentleman, they said it's common for Mercedes to alarm. But when we got our car back, there was a scratch at the back that was new. We didn't notice it until we drove it home. So I was a little upset.
I'm just a little sad about my car being scratched at the back. It was not present before the transport.

We had a good experience with Montway Auto Transport. There were only a couple of snafus that made this a Happy review (4) and not a 5. First, the Montway people told me that I was to pay the driver who picked up the car. So, I had the cash ready (in order to take advantage of the discount) for the driver. THIS IS NOT TRUE! We were to pay on delivery, which was a problem because I would not be at the delivery site, and I wasn't even sure my daughter would be there yet, depending on how quickly they arrived. However, I was assured that they accept Venmo and that still qualifies for the discount.
Secondly, the pick-up date, which fell at the end of the possible date range we were given, was extended a day. This was NOT convenient because we were staying in a hotel near my daughter's apartment. We had to stay another night. My daughter had to be out of her apartment the day before (and the car removed from the parking lot). I intentionally made that date the last date of our window.
Fortunately the apartment manager allowed us to leave the car there one more day. But then, the driver was running late the next day and wanted to push it off one more day -- which fell outside our pick-up range. We said absolutely not. Even if we have to meet him at midnight, we cannot spend another night at this hotel. We must deliver this car TODAY. As it was, we did meet him at about 11 pm to deliver the car, but at least we could head home the next morning. The car did make it to Oregon after my daughter arrived, so that worked out well. There were no issues with the travel or the delivery - we were pleased about that.

I had my vehicle shipped from east to west coast and it was very professional and I am updated as to where the car will be delivered at. Car has no flaws and secured. The car arrived at my friend’s house before I arrived at the location and they handled it really well. Only thing is the pick up location is firm and you couldn't ask for somewhere closer even when my friend who got her car shipped through them, had her car picked up at a much closer location. I was told by the trucker to accept the location or they will cancel the shipping. Overall excellent experience very friendly people through call and the delivery trucker also very nice. Easy booking through call also.

ChatGPT and Google helped me find Montway, which brought my Jeep Wrangler from Jacksonville, Florida to Moneta, Virginia. It's great.
I was offered closed transport and open transport, and I chose open transport to save money. The pickup an delivery went very smoothly, a lot quicker than I was expecting. By the time they called me to let me know they found a driver, it was less than 48 hours before I had my vehicle. The quote was fair. The cost was a little expensive, but it was exactly what they said it was gonna be. The man that dropped off my vehicle was very professional and kind, and they were within the timeframe they said they would be, so it was all positive and I’m very satisfied.

I saw good reviews on the internet for Montway. Their customer service was excellent all the way through. The pricing and the paperwork were really good. I worked with the dealer and let him know when the transport would be showing up. I live in Alaska, and our transport was coming up from Hudson, so it worked out well. The delivery was excellent. I would recommend them.

Transport went well overall. Price was appropriate. Only concern was when vehicle was picked up, the carrier was labeled with their transport company info and not MTA or Montway. It turned out ok, however. Car picked up when and where requested and delivered timely and safely where requested.

They helped us move a large 1970 step van from Oklahoma to Austin Texas. It was not a usual size vehicle, so took some special care and equipment to move, but they did a fantastic job! The entire experience was easy and efficient. They were the best quote. Communicated clearly their pick up and drop off times. Were helpful on both ends and on time. What more could you want?! I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

I have used Montway about 3 or 4 times now after my regular auto transport starting raising prices after contract and missing deadlines to pick up my vehicles. My experience was Montway has been exceptional so far, no price gauging and they have picked up my cars on time. My actual carrier, Smiles Express was absolutely amazing. The driver actually timed delivery right down to when my plane touched down. I took an Uber to the pickup site and the driver reimbursed me for the Uber drive. Made having to rent a car unnecessary... which saved me a lot of money. It was really Smiles Express that did the great job. Montway was just the booking agent.

This was the third time that I have used Montway for a long distance shipment. The service is reasonably priced. Pickup and delivery have been within the promised times. The vehicles arrived in good condition. For this shipment from Ohio to California, Montway's fee was 53 cents per mile. Average costs for driving a vehicle are 60 cents to 90 cents per mile. It can be more economical to use Montway.

I found out about this through TikTok. I was very hesitant and I thought it was a scam. They require the deposit upfront and the rest when your vehicle is delivered. I had an AirTag so I knew where my vehicle was and the driver was super responsive and reliable!!! I will use them again to ship my vehicle back to Louisiana. (I shipped from Louisiana to Washington D.C.) The pick up and drop off is in a public and well light area, usually a large supermarket with lots of parking. I highly recommend. I put in my request and the same day I got a pickup time for the next day and my driver reached out. It took 2 days for shipping. Pick up was the very next day after my request.

Aside from Montway's, I got one other estimate and it was less expensive, but Montway was the highest rated shipper I could find. I went with them and The folks from Montway walked me through how transporting was gonna work. They were calm and very patient. This is the only time I've ever done this and the car we were shipping was over $100,000, so I was hyper nervous about doing this. It was a fantastic experience overall.
Pickup and delivery worked out fine. In San Francisco, they reached out to us and told us they had the 18-wheeler. My family member drove the Porsche down to where they could meet them. They put the car into the truck and shipped it over here. They let me know a day ahead of time they were gonna be heading over, then they let me know the morning of where they were and how far they'd be. Ultimately, my wife went and met them three blocks from our house to get the car.
At one point, the transport was sitting in Chicago and one shipper didn't realize not to reach out to me, but did. I called Montway, and they said, "It's fine. We've got this. We're picking it up." If I was to say anything to anybody out there, for example a novice, "If you are not doing this on a regular, they are fantastic to hold your hand through the process. That's the value."

I transported three cars with Montway. I liked their reputation and they are one of my friends’ recommendation. I wanted a specific vehicle and I couldn't find it anywhere around my area. I found one in Maryland, and Montway was who the dealership recommended to me for the transport. Working with Montway, overall, was good. I had trouble getting in contact with the person at first, but somebody called me shortly thereafter and addressed all my concerns. Then everything went smoothly. Prior to the vehicle arriving, they contacted me about an hour and a half before they arrived at my house. The vehicle had a lot of bugs on it but we used open transport all the way from Maryland, so it's not unexpected. But it was in perfect condition and there were no issues with it. The driver gave me a chance to look over the car.

Montway is a great company, and I had great service from them. I used them a month ago to transport a sedan from Boston to Miami. The pickup and delivery were fast. One issue was I couldn't contact the driver very well. It took time for him to pick the car from Boston, so it kind of delayed the transport one day.

I've used Montway in the past, and it worked well for me before. This time, I went through the uShip website, got a bunch of quotes, and still went with Montway. I had a Jeep transported from Ohio to Minnesota and they kept in touch and brought it to my house. However, the quote went up 100 bucks because the Jeep had a lift kit on it, and apparently, that's not usually in their original quote.

It's only 1 star because I can't put zero. I ended up being charged $300 above the quoted prize because they are just a broker and when the actually carrier came, they asked for separate additional fees. These guys are dishonest, save your money and take your business elsewhere.

I have used Montway Auto Transport for at least three years and recently placed another order. I started with them and have continued using them because they are well organized with both pickup and delivery. Most recently, they transported my car from New York to Florida. I usually get my car within one to five days, so the timing has been good. Their pricing has also been pretty consistent. The drivers, as well as the people on the phone, have been very good, although there are sometimes language problems.

I was moving and I needed to get my car to a different state. I YouTubed a couple of companies, went from there and chose Montway. It was super easy and everyone was very helpful. We had some hiccups as far as communication, but the driver was nice, very informative, and delivered my vehicle on time. My apartment is rather small, and they couldn't get the truck in there, so he drove my car to my apartment.

We moved from Pennsylvania to Arizona and we needed to get my jeep out there, and Montway was recommended on a college parents' Facebook group. I decided based on our interaction and the price. For pickup, I was supposed to be there but it was delayed by a day and I had to fly out, but for drop-off, the driver was wonderful. We have a pretty wide street and he came and literally dropped it in front of my house.

Montway has great reviews online, and they had a better price point at that time. My experience setting up the transport has been easy-peasy, which was what I expected, and it was smooth. It was a young lady I spoke with initially, and I had most of my communication with her. She’s knowledgeable, patient, and explained the process. And since I scheduled early, it played in my favor in terms of the price point.
And the driver who was hired for this run was tenured. He was experienced. And so, he came through. He introduced himself. We both took pictures of my car all the way around. I gave him the key. He would give me a call and let me know where he was throughout the transport. We gave it a week to drop off, but he showed up earlier than expected. The pick-up point has wide streets, so he had no problems getting to me. The drop-off point is a little more compact, but he found a way to maneuver and get the car, and he parked it for me. And there was no issue with the car when it arrived. So, it was great, and I tipped the driver.

I needed to ship a car for 1,500 miles, and Montway was a company that was recommended to me. And I had only my friend’s feelings about them, which was positive. So, Montway is operationally good, but pricing was a concern.

I was moving back to Hawaii from Nevada, Las Vegas, and I decided to bring my Jeep with me. When my friends recommended Montway, I was impressed with their pricing. The quote was exactly the same as the final price. Setting up the transport was amazing. Their customer service and follow-through is outstanding. They get right back to you if they don’t answer. They were very knowledgeable and polite.
Before the pick up, I had some issues with my Jeep at the last minute. I had a red light go on and couldn’t ship it. Montway was very patient. They rearranged the trucker and rearranged the ship because we had to put it on the next barge. The original pickup was from Las Vegas to Port of San Diego. From San Diego, it went Pasha to Honolulu, and Honolulu to Hawaii. I was expecting it not to be a short trip. It was scheduled for two days to be at the port in time for the pickup of Pasha, and Montway did that perfectly. There are very limited barges going into the island of Hawaii, which is where I am, and nothing Montway did delayed that. The vehicle got picked up at the last possible moment so I could keep it as long as possible in Las Vegas.
The delivery and pick-up went very smoothly. The trucker they subbed out to was very professional. Montway did everything in a very courteous fashion. I very highly recommend this company.

We got three different estimates, and I picked Montway because they had good reviews compared to the scathing ones the other places had. Setting up the transport was good. They answered all my questions clearly and they were honest about not being able to guarantee a date, and it was fine. I’ve been with Montway Auto Transport for five years. Every year I send my car from Chicago to Tucson, 1,900 miles, and then I do that again in the spring from Tucson to Chicago. Although the price is very expensive, I am overall satisfied with their service, and I have recommended them to others.

I have transported my car for work five times for work. This is absolutely THE WORST experience I've ever had. Lack of communication, lack of information, delays - all for a 1163-mile trip. This was the first and the last time I will hire Montway and INVIA LLC.

Consumer BEWARE: Montway picked up my vehicle on August 5th, 2025. It is now August 15th, 2025 and I am told my car is still sitting in storage in Tustin, CA. I hope everyone who reads this will do their research AND seriously think twice before even calling this company. They have zero transparency about the REALITY of when a car will ACTUALLY be delivered. Montway is completely inept and unorganized. To make matters more clear, this was a normal California to Texas transport. My payment up front is added salt to the wound. PLEASE, I can't stress enough, this company is not what they appear to be.

We've done two car transports, both times with Montway, and we've never used anybody else ‘cause they’ve been very good. It cost us more this time, but it was 3000 miles compared to the previous one which was 1000 miles. The driver arrived two days earlier, and we met him at a local mall parking lot. He was very nice, courteous, and easy to work with. It was a good interaction.

We were moving across country and I didn't wanna have to drive my car. It would take too long, about 2,200 miles. I needed somebody to transport the car. Montway seemed more reasonable in the sense that they had one thing that the other companies wouldn't do. They told me that, in general, prices are set five days before the loading is supposed to take place. That's because local gasoline costs and everything can fluctuate quite a bit over the course of a few months. But I had a guaranteed date that I needed to have the load take place. I wanted to get that reserved quite a bit in advance. The only complexity was getting a company to agree on the date and make sure that was guaranteed. Montway was willing to do that, whereas other companies would not.
The pickup could have been better. Some companies will pick up not directly onto their giant transport and that way they can go straight to your house and pick it up. In my case, Montway was using the giant transport. They only wanted to load once and it was more efficient for them. Their vehicle really could not negotiate either the delivery streets or the pickup streets directly. That's fairly common.
When the driver came, he phoned me and told me where he was. It wasn't too far away so I drove my car over to where he was parked on a big street. He then drove me back to somewhere near enough where he could drop me off to get back to my house. That was okay. The same thing happened at the other end. There was no way the driver could navigate to deliver the car exactly to where we were. But he could get close enough and make it fairly easy to happen. All that worked out pretty well.
The driver was terrific. We talked on the phone and he tried to explain exactly where he was located so that I could find his vehicle. He was cooperative in getting me back to my house and the same thing at the other end. He made it easy to find where he was. He made it easy to get the car and get everything squared away. I was very satisfied. Montway did what they said they were gonna do. They had the one condition that was beneficial to me that other companies weren't able to do. The driver was very considerate and made it easy for me.

I was relocating from Alexandria, Virginia to Honolulu, Hawaii. It took about three weeks from pick-up to drop-off. They had issues trying to find an available driver or truck, so that was kind of taxing. We ended up picking up about four to five days later than they had planned. Still, the transport was quicker than I expected.
They were not able to get into the residential area, so I had to meet them at a location not too far away. It wasn’t that difficult. The driver was good, and he knew what he was doing. He picked the vehicle up, did an inspection, took pictures, and the whole nine yards very well. Overall, I would highly recommend Montway Auto Transport.

My daughter was moving from Boston to Los Angeles with a car that is not very new, so we didn’t want her to drive across the country. We figured we would find a transport. I found out that Montway was rated top five service providers, and a lot of reviews said that once they fix the price with the right address and location, they stay pretty firm. This was one of the reasons I went with them. First, I sent information online and then discussed the location and the fees. They were pretty attentive and I decided to go with them. They explained that the driver is an independent party. Based on the address, the width of the street, and access, they figure out pickup on the driveway or sidewalk. They were fairly decent talking through that.
The pickup dates were given as a week. My daughter was working on the date we agreed to, and the driver sorted out the dates and made it easier to do on a Sunday. The driver was pretty helpful. My daughter lived on a narrow street, so we brought the car to a friend’s house for better access and it worked out. The delivery address was a friend’s address with a wider street. They delivered the car there without a problem. The final pricing never changed.

I needed to transport our daughter's jeep back home from college. We were referred to Montway through a car dealer. Setting the transport up was very smooth and organized. It was just a call. The quote was spot-on to the final price as well. Pickup of the vehicle was a little rough because we're in a small area. It was not a great space for the driver to maneuver around in his big truck. It took some work, but we got it done. The driver was very professional.

Montway was a friend's recommendation. We don't know where we will end up after two years or a year and a half, so we shipped our car to not increase our expenses. It was an open auto transport. I set it up on the internet and for the final details, it was over the phone. Pickup and drop-off were scheduled between 7 to 10 days. There was good communication during pickup and I was informed about everything all the time. The car arrived in the same condition that I gave it. I could get something better with a service a little bit more expensive, but for what I paid, it was good.

I wanted to ship a Jeep Commander from Arizona to Atlanta. My interaction with the drivers was horrible. When we shipped with them the first time, they dispatched the car. They sent an email saying who’s picking it up.
We’re located inside the city of Atlanta. The driver said that the surface streets were too difficult for them to get down with the big truck and they couldn't get to us. They also said that they could pick up the car but Montway will not let the driver drive the car. We had to drive to them and it was an inconvenience.
Then on the way back, we ran into multiple issues. Our car was two days behind. We couldn't get in touch with the driver and Montway couldn't get in touch with them either. I said that I was gonna report the car stolen but they told us to wait until the morning. This was through chat and not a live person. I had to sit on hold for 45 minutes to get a live person.
We got an email first thing in the morning of Tuesday saying the car will be delivered the next day and that the truck broke down. On Wednesday, I got a text from the driver saying the car will arrive on Thursday between 10:00 and 11:00.
I called Montway to confirm if they had the right address. The address I'm seeing on my end does not have Northeast on it. It’s my son’s car and if it arrives on Thursday, he will be at work and it’s gonna need to go to a different address. Both addresses are within the city of Atlanta. The rep updates the address.
Thursday comes and I’ve heard nothing and the car was not there. I text the driver the original address just to confirm that it had the Northeast in it so that he wasn't going to the wrong place. 11 o'clock comes and I have not heard anything. We start trying to contact the driver and we can’t get him.
The driver then texts my son and says that we need to pick up the car in Doraville, which is 30 to 45 minutes from my address. He said that he couldn’t come in the city and that it was against the law.
He asked to meet close to 285. I am in the middle of the city and anywhere near 285 is going to be 30 to 45 minutes. He came up with another place that’s in Decatur which was still 30 minutes away. I agreed to it because it’s a little better than Doraville and I needed the car. But that did not help me. I was supposed to go out of town at 12:30 that day. We did not pick up the car until 12:37 and I missed everything.
I am more than a little bit annoyed. I ended up talking to a supervisor at Montway and the only thing that he could offer me was $50 off. That was a courtesy from them because the carrier was not willing to do anything because the truck having problems was out of their control.
That was not great. If the truck did break down, you can't help that but they could have picked up their phone and told somebody. I paid over $1,100 to ship that car one way and I paid for door-to-door but I didn’t get that. If the trucking company is not willing to help me out on that, it is what it is, but I will be contacting AmEx. I'm going to fight it tooth and nail. The way that all went is not okay and I'm not satisfied with it.
Overall, it’s difficult to get Montway on the phone after you’ve made the order but you can get them eventually if you sit on hold. Then they do their best to help.

I was moving from New York to California for work-related purposes, and I was recommended to Montway by a family friend who had moved to Boston from New York, who shipped their car. I did a quote online, then secured the details. It was fairly simple. Initially, the vehicle was supposed to come to my apartment, but they weren't able to deliver it the day that I needed it to. I ended up driving a little further away to pick it up, but that was easy. The transport took 10 days, which is what I was anticipating. I saw the vehicle again and it was the same beat-up vehicle I sent. I would recommend Montway’s services. It was easy to schedule the service and communication was excellent.

I used Montway a couple of years earlier and I had a good experience so I went with them again. I was out of town when the car was picked up, but I was told that the car had to be driven half a block to a larger street, but everything was fine. After four days, it arrived in Washington DC in good condition.

I was moving across the country from Arizona to Florida. I called Montway and scheduled with them. It was easy. The price was reasonable for transporting a lifted truck and a compact SUV across the country.
I was told it would take three to five days but I got my vehicle in three days. The driver got here, picked it up and met us in Florida a day after we got here. The driver’s English needed a little bit of work but otherwise, he did fine.
I threw an AirTag in the vehicle just to track it. I wanted to see where my vehicle was because I don’t like that stretch of New Mexico. I’ve driven through that route several times myself and it’s incredibly dangerous. Overall, it was a painless and easy experience.

I did a Google search on military-friendly transporters when we were moving across country. Montway had good reviews so that’s how I picked them. Setting the transport up was very simple. I filled out the form online and then they called me. I gave them the type of vehicle and then we set the date.
During the pickup, I just drove the car at the edge of our neighborhood with a big parking lot and then they put the car onto the trailer. I and the driver walked around the transport and made sure that we were good to go. I signed a form saying we were good.
Then we gave them the address where the car will be dropped off. It was in my friend’s house in a town home community. But the driver didn’t go to that house. He went to the beginning of the town home community and dropped it off there even though there was plenty of room to take the trailer all the way back to my friend’s house.
They did contact my friend and said that they were gonna be 15 minutes. It’s not a star-losing issue but in the future, this could be remedied and it would be a better service. Overall, it was great the whole way through and I would still use them again.

We live in Houston, Texas and we have a house up on the East Coast to go up for the summer. And as we’re maturing in life, we decided the 26-hour drive was something we wanted to stop. So last year, we tried shipping our car north and we had a poor experience with that company. So I started calling around the different people that ship cars between Houston and this area and Montway kept coming up. So we tried them this year.
Setting up with them was all online and was really simple. The car was picked up by a pickup truck with a trailer that held two or three cars and we were the second car loaded on. It came right to the end of our street. The driver knew what he was doing and was very courteous and nice. Compared to the year before, it was like night and day for us.
The car came faster than we thought. It was supposed to be somewhere between three and seven days on the arrival and the car came in three days. So it was a good experience for us. I was present for the pickup, not for the drop-off, because the car got there before we did.
When we got to the car, the person that represented us at the delivery moved it into the garage. Last year when the other company shipped the car, I had to wash it immediately. This year, it was really clean and we were pleasantly surprised. I didn’t have to wash it right away. I also wanted to compare open carry to open carry and Montway’s was much better. It may have come up on an 18-wheeler, but the pickup was by a smaller vehicle.
I’ve only used Montway once and it was a very positive experience. We’re considering shipping our car back actually.

My daughter was working an internship over the summer out in California. We needed to transport her vehicle since she was gonna be there for 11 weeks. A close friend of mine in the neighborhood had used Montway in the past when they were moving around their son’s car. I reached out online to get a quote and the team was very responsive in getting back with the price and made it really straightforward as to what I needed to do. We gave them dates and addresses.
When it came close to transport time, they said they would be dispatching it to a trucker and I would hear directly from the trucker, which I did, on both the way out and the way back. They were also very professional and the guys that were transporting the vehicle were very communicative with me.
My daughter’s car was the last one to be picked up and it was a double-decker and. They came around 9:00 p.m. and even though we’re back in the neighborhood, they picked it up off the main street on a pretty long straightaway right outside our neighborhood.
We just had to drive the car two blocks away and then they loaded it up. It was very easy. They did the exact same thing for the return. They let me know when they were on their way and sent me a GPS coordinates on where they were. We just went a couple of blocks away and were able to pick it up.
It was an excellent experience and I would definitely refer Montway to anybody else that is in need of a vehicle transport several states away like we were. I was impressed with the responsiveness from the very beginning as well as how communicative the drivers were on both ways.

My wife and I had been living in Portland, Maine and we made a decision to move to Portland, Oregon. We have one car and I had contemplated driving it across country and came to the quick realization that was very unreasonable and I needed to ship the car across country. I checked a number of different carriers and selected Montway because they had a great price and because of the quality of the service they offered. They were very courteous, helpful and thorough about following up.
The individual who picked up my car made arrangements for me to meet him in the parking lot of a mall because he had such a very long hauler. He picked the car up on time. When I got there, I dropped the car off with him and had me sign some documentation. He was very professional and I had a nice conversation with him.
When it got here, I made arrangements and they were able to come out. They had transferred the vehicle from the original hauler that pulled across country into a smaller delivery model that delivered my car. They delivered it very quickly. I thought it was gonna take about seven days but it only took about five or six. I was surprised at how fast it was and the car was in great shape. Both the driver who picked it up and the driver who delivered it were terrific. I was absolutely delighted with the experience that I had with them.
I had also considered an enclosed move and I decided to go with an open move and I was very happy with that as well. I would highly recommend Montway to any of my family or friends. If you need to transfer your vehicle across country, they do a great job.

The first communication was through a call. After confirming it, when I wanted to do some minor changes, like pickup dates or location, I used the text 24/7 service, and someone would always be there to respond to me.
I asked for an enclosed space. There was a street where the driver was able to park his own vehicle. He was very transparent with what he needed to do. And I went along with the guidance that Montway said. So I took pictures of the vehicle and he was okay with it. He also let me take a picture of his ID for insurance as well. That made me feel a little bit better. He was just a chill guy. And, I tipped him for the service as well.

Montway’s customer service was great. They got back to me quickly and had a very competitive quote. They made everything very simple and kept me up to date on the whole process. They picked the car up in Colorado with my daughter and delivered it right to my door here. It was very good. I would definitely use them again if I had to transport.

Was told that I would not be charged $249.00. When I tried to cancel two months prior to shipment, was shown fine print. Also extremely difficult to cancel, only let me cancel after dealing with an extremely pushy and rude manager.

I shipped my 2009 Subaru from CA to NC with no real issues. Scoured websites for reviews and ultimately settled on Montway as the broker. I received a call from a real person pretty quickly, and a quote that seemed realistic--$1539 (compared to other quotes of 600-700$ from scammy scheming companies). They let me know via email and text when they had found a driver/transport cmopany and gave me his info so I could communicate directly with him. Once the drive was assigned, their chunk of the price/cut was taken from my card ($339).
The transport company was able to accommodate my pickup date (and actually the driver called the day before to see if it was ready then, but was able to wait until the actual day I had requested to take it). We met at a Target parking lot where he could fit the trailer, loaded the car up, he took a bunch of pictures for the BOL document, and then practically beat us back to the East Coast! We met a couple blocks from our house to go pick it up, no issues, car was the same dirty that we left it and all fine. Paid the driver his share ($1200) via Venmo, and that was that! For a process that feels very vulnerable and ripe for exploitation, this went quite well. I would use them again if I ever had to.

The Montway is the best company Comparatively others. The delivery guy Cuadra Y was so awesome at his job. He delivered the vehicle as he promised. Definitely recommend. I will always use this company. I got the estimate from Nexus first and they changed from their estimated price. They were asking $500 more than they estimated. I won’t believe that. But I felt comfortable dealing with Montway.

It was very easy to schedule transport of my Citroen SM. The folks I talked to at Montway were very professional and answered my questions. Shortly after booking the transport, Brett (the driver) contacted me and we scheduled a tentative pick-up date and location. Brett was most impressive. Good communication, thorough inspection of the car, excellent truck and trailer, etc. The Citroen has some idiosyncrasies and he made sure he followed my guidance when moving the car. I needed a car transported back from North Carolina, and somebody mentioned Montway. There’s a big website you can choose from and it seemed like they were number 1. It’s a little bit tricky, but it just took a few minutes to navigate the website. The price was very reasonable. It was just a dollar off from everybody else. But Montway’s star rating was slightly better than everybody else, so I said I was gonna go with them. I bought the car on a Wednesday and it arrived in our front yard around Monday the next week. One thing that was a little awkward was being told to “make sure you present these numbers so they can collect money.” It took me a few minutes to figure that out.
The driver was super nice, and we’re happy with the vehicle. It was a long drive, though. It was four hours in a tiny stick-shift truck. It didn’t have much AC, no power windows or door locks, and there was no cruise control. It was a base model, just a four-cylinder stick with AC and no extra features, not even a chip in the key. But I’m going to recommend Montway to everybody. Overall, I was pleased. Everything went well. Even the dealership people were super nice. It was a very pleasant experience.

I contracted with Montway Auto Transport to ship my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport from Benbrook, TX to Hampton Bays, NY. The shipment was assigned to a carrier, 571 SAV Inc, and issues began during the pickup process. Despite early concerns, I moved forward with the transport in good faith. Upon delivery, however, my concerns were confirmed.
Montway’s assigned carrier delivered my vehicle at night, preventing a proper inspection. The next day, I discovered: Visible damage to the front pillars, which may be structural. Permanent marker stains on the driver's leather seat — the only seat the carrier had access to. I promptly filed a damage claim with Montway. In response, Montway offered a $624.05 settlement, but only if I signed a Release and Satisfaction Agreement that: Waived my right to pursue further claims, even if future inspection revealed additional or structural damage. Prohibited me from filing complaints with regulatory bodies, including the FMCSA or state consumer protection agencies. Contained a non-disparagement clause, preventing me from publicly sharing my experience in any forum.
The terms presented were legally overreaching and coercive. As a customer, I was asked to choose between compensation and my First Amendment right to speak truthfully about my experience. Additionally, when I requested the carrier's insurance information in order to file a claim through the proper channels, Montway refused to provide it, despite their obligations under FMCSA broker regulations.
This approach is not only unethical but raises serious legal questions about Montway's compliance with federal transportation regulations and consumer protection standards. I have since filed a formal complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Consumers should be aware that Montway’s claims process prioritizes liability control over accountability, and their use of restrictive legal agreements appears designed to suppress transparency and limit recourse for legitimate claims. I strongly advise others to use caution when considering Montway. If damage occurs during transport, you may be pressured into silence in exchange for a nominal settlement — while being denied the tools necessary to pursue proper insurance recovery.

We were bringing my daughter's car back home from school. Montway was used by one of her friends and we decided to hire them as well. The whole transport took five days which fell in within a day of what we scheduled. The vehicle was picked-up in Tempe and dropped-off in Cal City, Illinois. My daughter was at the pickup and I was at the drop-off. I did it at my business which is in an industrial area. So, there was tons of room for semis. That's why I set it up there. The car was in the condition we left it, just a little dirty from the road. The driver was really good and the price was fair. Overall, Montway was easy to use. I just booked another transport with them. We're sending the car from Cal City now to Tempe since my daughter is going back to school for the year.

Setting up the transport with Montway was easy and the communication was good. They schedule the pickup and delivery for you. You wait for them to call and let you know what day they’re going to pick up your car. Once it’s scheduled, they pick up the car and deliver it to the location you choose. They give you a price of how much it’s going to cost, and then they deliver the vehicle. They got my car to and from across the country with no problems. It was safe and got here just as I had given it to them. So, I've used them a couple of times. The company was very professional. I wasn't too comfortable with having my car shipped with people that I didn't know, but because my cousin recommended them, then a friend used them prior to me, I recommended them to other people.

We've used Montway for years and the experience has always been good. They always give us a good deal since we use them for so many years. Sometimes, it's tough getting drivers because they change a lot. But other than that, we've been very satisfied. We transfer one vehicle every two years. Recently, it was a Jeep Grand Cherokee and we send it to Florida from Chicago. Then I also sent my daughter's car out to Sausalito, California.

Frankly, The carrier for return of my car had a problem getting my car door to door due to construction, but they also did not navigate locating parking with their big truck with ease. They tried their best, but freaked me out by their uncertainty and their skittishness. The second driver was the driver's wife.

They were able to pick up my car the same day, and delivered it to Virginia at roughly ~2AM the following morning. Normally an ~11 hour drive - they must've driven straight through all the way there!! The car was delivered as sent; with absolutely no damage!!

Great service. Was kept in the loop by the driver during transit. Was going from a residence to another residence so had to ensure someone was home to release and then accept the delivery. Driver was courteous and flexible. Had to be told that you just can’t show up to a house at noon on a Wednesday unannounced and just expect someone to be there. Was overall happy with service, reliability and ability to communicate with driver during transport. Car was picked up and dropped off in timely manner. There was no physical damages to car and contents remained untouched. My only concern was I had to get the car re-aligned. The steering was off. That was not an issue prior to transport because I had my mechanic do an overall check. I would still use this company however because of reliability and comfort in knowing that my car will get there safely.

Our move worked out well. Montway Auto Transport farms this stuff out. They don't have their own truck. Everything today is high. But relative to other quotes and the diesel prices, the price was fair. The guy that came my way was very good. I liked him. He was a conversationalist. He knew what he was doing. I was impressed he could drive an 80-foot-long truck. He did exactly what he said he could do, and he was on time. I would like to use him again if I had to move again.

One of my friends had used Montway and they referred them to me. Setting up the transport with them was seamless. The car was delivered from California to New Jersey. The pickup was a day later than I expected but the delivery of the car was within four or five days, which was the most important thing. They were very fast. The driver was excellent as well.

We had a great experience when shipping my son’s car back from college across the country. Montway was recommended by other parents. Communication was good with the company and driver. My son did need to unexpectedly meet the driver to pick up his car as the driver had concerns getting into his apartment complex. I wanted to sell a vehicle to my friend, and the move was from Enterprise to Miami. Montway was easier to use because everything was going to be online. I talked to guys with the truck to take the cars, but usually they skip me. Montway’s rep I dealt with was great, and I was treated well. They sent me all the information that I needed with the email and the number. I just booked the day, and they straightly texted me that they were going to send a truck today at a certain time. The guy with the truck then texted me before he reached the location.
The vehicle arrived in good condition, and the guy knew what he was doing. When I asked him if I could drive the vehicle, he said that he was going to drive and that it was his responsibility. Overall, the experience was great.

Montway is a great company. The only issue I have was the price with the movers changed in the middle of the transaction, and I was not expecting that. The quote with Montway was expensive, but I needed to move within a few days, and they assured me that they could do it. They also kept the price that they quoted, which was very reasonable, and my car was delivered at the date that I was told that it would arrive. Everything went well with them.

Had my car shipped from Austin to Chicago and because of mechanical issues with my car I had to change the date and Montway worked well with the change in dates. After having a nightmare when I sent my car to Austin from Chicago with another car transportation company it was a pleasure to deal with a good transportation company. I will definitely be using Montway in November when I ship my car back to Austin.

We own homes in Wilton Manors, Florida and Rochester, NY. We have used Montway to transport my car from Rochester to Wilton Manors in October, then back to Rochester in May. They are honest, reliable and respectful. I have had nothing but good experiences using them to get my car back and forth. The carriers they use are trustworthy and kind. My car is well taken care of. They charge a reasonable price. I highly recommend Montway Auto Transport to anyone needing this service. It is really nice knowing my car will be there when I need it.

I went to Nextdoor which is an app where people in the community give their ratings on the best transportation system and I found about Montway there. When I set up the transport, their reps provided excellent customer service. The delivery driver was excellent, too. Overall, they were pretty straightforward and they were able to deliver the car in excellent condition. Also, you hear a lot of nightmare stories and people say that they come with the car and they demand more money. So, I was so scared, but they did none of that and I was very pleased.

The transport went a lot smoother with Montway than I thought it was going to go. I was looking online for an auto transport company and I came across them. We also had a friend who had recently moved from California to the East Coast, and he used Montway and he recommended it. So, that kind of sealed it for us to go with them. The reps who helped me set up the transport were very professional and they answered my questions. When the driver came and picked up the car, he was also very professional. The vehicle was delivered to my cousin's address and they lived in a property that's a little difficult to get to. So Montway's guys were a little concerned at first when they saw the truck trying to come in the driveway, but they made it work. We were really satisfied with the service.

Montway was a little bit more expensive than the other company I talked to, but they didn't pressure me. When I talked to Montway's guy, he seemed pleasurable, while the guy from the other company seemed belligerent. The guy that I spoke with with Montway was really nice and the delivery went fine. I didn't have any issues. But the person who actually dropped off the vehicle couldn't give me a receipt for the cash I paid. So, the original money that I paid Montway was on my original statement. But then, when I paid the cash on pickup, he didn't give me a receipt for that. I don't like that and I need to have a receipt. I was getting relocation expenses and at the end of the day, I was able to to work things out with my employer. But no one wants to reimburse you for cash pay. Even though they could see that I got my vehicle, they didn't know if it was a reduced price. So it was weird that I couldn't get a final statement showing what I paid in full.

Montway came highly recommended by my daughter-in-law who had transported a car. I went with them as well and my experience was very nice. They were excellent. The only thing was, they had a problem with their timing. They said they'd give me a two-hour window. They called and said, “Okay.” Next thing I knew, they called and said, “The truck's here.” I was in the middle of dinner. They gave me a time about loading it up. And it was the same thing on the other end. We had said two hours' notice, but we were going out to a party at 3 o'clock and they called. They wanted to deliver it that night. But I didn't have my phone on, so I didn't get it. They wanted to deliver. But, anyhow, they delivered it the next morning and that was fine.

We were moving cross-country and needed work with our time schedule and one that could give us a specific pickup day as well as a drop-off day. I did best companies that ship cross-country in a Google search and I got one of those reviews that lists the top 10 companies. We looked at one of the companies, ShippingEasy, and their pickup service was, "We're gonna pick it up and it's gonna take a few days." When someone's driving cross-country, they need five to seven days to get across. ShippingEasy was going to here before we were, so that didn't work.
We needed somebody here to take the car and since we're new, we didn't know anybody. We found a company that needed a three-day time window to pick the car up on the front end and a three-day drop-off window on the back end. The pricing was fair, but with all that uncertainty while we were traveling across the country, we decided it wasn't gonna work for us. There was too much uncertainty and we needed a little more specific date.
Montway offered a 24-hour pickup window for a little extra charge. We picked an actual day, and they gave us a pickup window. That made it easier because then I could tell a neighbor, "Hey, you don't have to wait for three days. Here, this is your day and they're gonna come and pick it up." That was the main reason we went with Montway. The service was a little more expensive, but it was more tailored to what we needed.
The driver, Brian, was fabulous all the way through. As soon as he got the dispatch, their teams reached out to us. Brian gave us a window he didn't hit, but he was in communication with us constantly about, "Hey, I'm stuck in traffic." He was coming from across the other side of the LA basin and he let us know when he was gonna be there. It made it much easier on my friend. His communication was extremely professional.
It was the same thing on the back end when he was dropping the car off. He communicated with us at least four times where he was at, when he thought his time frame was gonna be and if it was gonna change, he let us know right away. I would absolutely recommend Montway to a friend. I give them 5-plus stars for the cost of the service and the ease of use. Their entire process was also really easy and the professionalism of the driver really tipped the scales.

I had a whole bunch of problems with Montway, but it got fixed in the end. One problem was it took two extra weeks to pick up the car because the transporter cancelled twice. The last one was able to get it. Once I got to speak to management and they kept me updated, it turned this whole experience around. So, it ended up pretty great.

I needed a transport service because we were moving from Montana to South Carolina, so we contacted Montway. Setting up the transport was not hard, but we had a one-day delay. They were supposed to pick the car up on a particular date, and I got a call that morning saying that the transport vehicle had broken down, and they were working on getting another driver. Then they called the next morning to tell me they had a driver and the driver would be there that day to pick up the car. The drivers were very nice.

My experience with Montway was good, but it was a little confusing going between them and the company that handled my car transport. From my understanding, the drivers were from a different company that Montway contracts with. It was a little challenging when I wanted to get information about the whereabouts of my car. When I contacted the other company to find out when it was gonna be dropped off, the reps weren’t very sure. That could have been handled a little bit more smoothly. My car was delayed by three days. Other than that, everything went smoothly. The dude that picked up my car was very nice to my family members who received the car. He always answered my phone calls when I asked him what state he was in.

I’ve used Montway for the last four years, and I’ve had a good experience with them. They take pretty good care of the car. It’s the timeliness that sometimes causes me a lot of anxiety. I go to Florida for the winter, and I don’t wanna get there and have my car get there before me. It’s the same way when I’m coming home.
When I go to Florida, there’s a little drawbridge over the waterway that doesn’t allow much weight. The drivers usually have to find a place on the mainland to park their truck. They’ll drive my car out to me, and I’ll take it and drive them back to their truck. That works out. A lot of the drivers are foreign, and I have a little trouble understanding their accent. I haven’t had anybody that was discourteous or anything. Sometimes when I try to contact them, I get no response. More responsiveness would be good.
The only problem I had was two years ago. I threw an Apple AirTag in the back of my car. They came timely and picked the car up a couple days before I flew down to Florida. Five days later, I hadn’t gotten any information. I usually get information with the driver’s names and contact information. I looked for my AirTag, and it was in Texas going to Arizona instead of Florida. It’s just an error on someone’s part. They got me 300 or 400 bucks back.

We needed to ship a car from Jacksonville to Chicago. My husband did some research and saw that Montway had good reviews and the costs were very reasonable. Setting up the transport was fairly easy. My husband and I don't like talking to people on the phone, so it was great that their chat works very well. My husband just did it online.
The transport took three days. There was a little mix-up on the pick-up because I thought I’d have more time. The dispatch said the guy was gonna be there in two hours, and I was four hours away. But it worked out. The driver was really communicative and waited for me to get there so we didn’t have to reschedule it.
It was a little confusing because we were paying cash on delivery. It said on the website that anybody can receive the car, so we designated my nephew to receive it. I thought I’d be contacted to give my credit card to pay the driver. When the driver got there, he told my nephew that he owed $850. But it took a simple phone call and was resolved in five minutes. I just paid the driver through Zelle. That was the only glitch that we had. If I’d known that, I would have given him the $850 ahead of time.

It’s super easy to get in contact with Montway. I signed up online and the delivery was absolutely awesome. I’ve transported a lot of cars. They’re the best ever. I like that they’re on time, have clear communication, reasonable expectations, overall nice guy, and they have respect for the vehicle. I would use them again.
I told Montway that I wanted to put extra 150lbs of clothes in the car and they charged for it. When I mentioned it to the driver, he said it didn’t matter and they shouldn’t have charged me. That was cheesy. But other than that, they made the transport easy.

We used Montway because we were going to Florida for the month, and we wanted to bring our car down with us. And Montway was recommended to us by a friend. Setting up the transport was easy, even though it was the first time I did it. And so, they picked up our car from our home in Park Ridge, Illinois, and it was taken down to Naples, Florida. It left our place on a Sunday, and it arrived at the location on a Wednesday.
I’m in a residential area, but there’s a main street not too far away. And during pick-up, the driver pulled his flatbed over there, and then we took the car a block away. I saw him load it, and off it went. And then when it got to Florida, it was going to a residential area again. So, we met him on the main street and took it from there. The driver going down was just the nicest guy. I met him, and he was personable. And so was the guy coming back.

I needed a transfer service because I was going to be spending the winter in Arizona and I didn’t want to drive there. Setting it up with Montway was fine. It was easy. Communication with the reps was excellent.
How much they told me it would cost was accurate. I did a buy-up to have a specific day delivery, but the quote was exactly what I paid.
One direction was good, and the other direction was bad.
My car had some dents in it when it arrived. The guys who unloaded it – the subcontractor of Montway – were very rude and refused to give me the bill of lading. I found out later that you need that to file a damage claim.
The people who did the transfer back to where I live in Pennsylvania were great. That was perfectÏ, but that’s not really Montway because they contract with other people.
Montway is just like a facilitator of transport companies. They're not actually the company that's transporting anything, so it's gonna be hit or miss depending on who you contract with.

We were moving across the country, from Arizona to Wisconsin, and picked Montway after I did some internet research on three or four transfer services.
It was a good experience and pretty straightforward. It was easy to schedule it. The quote, we were able to get it right away online, and it was very accurate. We chatted with somebody through the website when we had a question.
The driver was really friendly and just made everything pretty easy. He did a good job. He called before he came, and he would drop a pin to say where he was exactly. He was good at finding an appropriate spot in the street to put the truck where loading would work.
It was kind of complicated for us because some of us had already traveled to where we were moving. We told Montway to talk to the other people who were helping with the move, and they did that. It worked really well.

We live in New York, and we have a condo in Florida that we visit several times a year. I usually ship one of our cars in the fall and bring it back in April. I’ve used Road Runner Transportation Services for several years, and they’ve been very good.
Until last year, I had poor experiences with them both shipping down and back. I went online and looked for a different shipping company. There were a lot of good reviews for Montway, so I decided to go with them.
That was part of what I liked about them. Because of Road Runner, it became impossible to communicate with them. Montway was much better, you set it up online and then someone calls you and go over the details.
Right before it was time to pick up the cars, they would call ahead of time and let me know which company would handle it, and give me some information on that. I always felt like I could reach someone if needed. With Road Runner, you’d call repeatedly and never get anyone.
They usually say pickup and drop-off will take four or five days but it never does, it is usually done in two days.We try to coordinate it with our flights so we can be home when the car arrives, but that doesn't always happen.
Sometimes a neighbor has to accept the car for us, especially when sending it down. The car can arrive before we do, so someone else has to receive it.
The drivers have been excellent. In fact, I had the same driver for both Road Runner and Montway. I know they contract with different shipping companies depending on availability and destination. I’ve had a guy from Miami who’s been really good, though I don’t know his name.
This last time, I was very pleased. It was the lowest quote I’ve had in a couple of years and they stuck. With Road Runner, they’d give a quote, but as the pickup date approached, they’d either say they couldn’t make that date or that I’d have to pay more to keep it.
With Road Runner, the quote never stayed the same. But with Montway, they gave me a quote and stuck to it. That’s what I paid, and it was very reasonable. I was more than pleased.

The drivers were excellent and on time. They did their jobs well. The vehicle arrived in good condition. The scheduling could’ve been improved, but that’s always the problem with transporters. Overall, the experience was very good.

I wouldn’t use Montway again. They give you a five day pickup window, but both of my vehicles were picked up a day or two late. They never arrived within the window they promised.
I really had to scramble. I had set up my flight and planned for them to pick up my car before I left. I used their pickup window to schedule everything, but they still hadn’t picked up my vehicle by the time I had to go. I ended up having to find someone else to deliver the vehicle to them.
There was one more thing. As the window was getting close to closing, I would call them, and they kept telling me the same thing, that they were expediting the pickup. They told me this three or four times, but they never expedited anything. They were always late. I feel like they were trained to say, "we’re expediting," but I don’t think they actually expedited anything.
The drivers and everything else were great. The only problem was Montway never once hit their window.

We used Montway because we were relocating across the country, and they were the top one on the internet. Setting up the transport was easy. The pick-up and delivery were straightforward. They communicated where they were and gave me a time window for pickup, which I agreed to. And during delivery, once we met the driver somewhere else, it took 20 minutes for him to do the paperwork. But most of that time was just setting up the ramp so I could get the car off. So, Montway did a good job. They did what they advertised.
