I needed to ship a car for 1,500 miles, and Montway was a company that was recommended to me. And I had only my friend’s feelings about them, which was positive. And when I reached out to them, they seemed to be helpful in trying to answer my questions. And both the pick-up and delivery were fine. And they brought it directly to my location. So, Montway is operationally good, but pricing was a concern.

I was moving back to Hawaii from Nevada, Las Vegas, and I decided to bring my Jeep with me. When my friends recommended Montway, I was impressed with their pricing. The quote was exactly the same as the final price. Setting up the transport was amazing. Their customer service and follow-through is outstanding. They get right back to you if they don’t answer. They were very knowledgeable and polite.
Before the pick up, I had some issues with my Jeep at the last minute. I had a red light go on and couldn’t ship it. Montway was very patient. They rearranged the trucker and rearranged the ship because we had to put it on the next barge. The original pickup was from Las Vegas to Port of San Diego. From San Diego, it went Pasha to Honolulu, and Honolulu to Hawaii. I was expecting it not to be a short trip. It was scheduled for two days to be at the port in time for the pickup of Pasha, and Montway did that perfectly. There are very limited barges going into the island of Hawaii, which is where I am, and nothing Montway did delayed that. The vehicle got picked up at the last possible moment so I could keep it as long as possible in Las Vegas.
The delivery and pick-up went very smoothly. The trucker they subbed out to was very professional. Montway did everything in a very courteous fashion. I very highly recommend this company.

Montway was well-priced and reliable. We were moving and we needed our car shipped. We got three different estimates, and I picked Montway because they had good reviews compared to the scathing ones the other places had. Setting up the transport was good. They answered all my questions clearly and they were honest about not being able to guarantee a date, and it was fine. The driver who picked up the car parked a little bit further away and we just drove over, but it was okay. Everything went smoothly.

I’ve been with Montway Auto Transport for five years. Every year I send my car from Chicago to Tucson, 1,900 miles, and then I do that again in the spring from Tucson to Chicago. Although the price is very expensive, I am overall satisfied with their service, and I have recommended them to others.

We had to ship a car across the country, and somebody had recommended Montway. And we had a positive experience with them from start to finish. They were easy to use as far as being able to make my reservation and ask questions via chat, which was always available. So, they were responsive and helpful. The person who picked up the car was excellent and delivered it on time. Their price was also fine.

I have transported my car for work five times for work. This is absolutely THE WORST experience I've ever had. Lack of communication, lack of information, delays - all for a 1163-mile trip. This was the first and the last time I will hire Montway and INVIA LLC.

Consumer BEWARE: Montway picked up my vehicle on August 5th, 2025. It is now August 15th, 2025 and I am told my car is still sitting in storage in Tustin, CA. I hope everyone who reads this will do their research AND seriously think twice before even calling this company. They have zero transparency about the REALITY of when a car will ACTUALLY be delivered. Montway is completely inept and unorganized. To make matters more clear, this was a normal California to Texas transport. My payment up front is added salt to the wound. PLEASE, I can't stress enough, this company is not what they appear to be.

We've done two car transports, both times with Montway, and we've never used anybody else ‘cause they’ve been very good. It cost us more this time, but it was 3000 miles compared to the previous one which was 1000 miles. The driver arrived two days earlier, and we met him at a local mall parking lot. He was very nice, courteous, and easy to work with. It was a good interaction.

We were moving across country and I didn't wanna have to drive my car. It would take too long, about 2,200 miles. I needed somebody to transport the car. Montway seemed more reasonable in the sense that they had one thing that the other companies wouldn't do. They told me that, in general, prices are set five days before the loading is supposed to take place. That's because local gasoline costs and everything can fluctuate quite a bit over the course of a few months. But I had a guaranteed date that I needed to have the load take place. I wanted to get that reserved quite a bit in advance. The only complexity was getting a company to agree on the date and make sure that was guaranteed. Montway was willing to do that, whereas other companies would not.
The pickup could have been better. Some companies will pick up not directly onto their giant transport and that way they can go straight to your house and pick it up. In my case, Montway was using the giant transport. They only wanted to load once and it was more efficient for them. Their vehicle really could not negotiate either the delivery streets or the pickup streets directly. That's fairly common.
When the driver came, he phoned me and told me where he was. It wasn't too far away so I drove my car over to where he was parked on a big street. He then drove me back to somewhere near enough where he could drop me off to get back to my house. That was okay. The same thing happened at the other end. There was no way the driver could navigate to deliver the car exactly to where we were. But he could get close enough and make it fairly easy to happen. All that worked out pretty well.
The driver was terrific. We talked on the phone and he tried to explain exactly where he was located so that I could find his vehicle. He was cooperative in getting me back to my house and the same thing at the other end. He made it easy to find where he was. He made it easy to get the car and get everything squared away. I was very satisfied. Montway did what they said they were gonna do. They had the one condition that was beneficial to me that other companies weren't able to do. The driver was very considerate and made it easy for me.

I was relocating from Alexandria, Virginia to Honolulu, Hawaii. It took about three weeks from pick-up to drop-off. They had issues trying to find an available driver or truck, so that was kind of taxing. We ended up picking up about four to five days later than they had planned. Still, the transport was quicker than I expected.
They were not able to get into the residential area, so I had to meet them at a location not too far away. It wasn’t that difficult. The driver was good, and he knew what he was doing. He picked the vehicle up, did an inspection, took pictures, and the whole nine yards very well. Overall, I would highly recommend Montway Auto Transport.

My daughter was moving from Boston to Los Angeles with a car that is not very new, so we didn’t want her to drive across the country. We figured we would find a transport. I found out that Montway was rated top five service providers, and a lot of reviews said that once they fix the price with the right address and location, they stay pretty firm. This was one of the reasons I went with them. First, I sent information online and then discussed the location and the fees. They were pretty attentive and I decided to go with them. They explained that the driver is an independent party. Based on the address, the width of the street, and access, they figure out pickup on the driveway or sidewalk. They were fairly decent talking through that.
The pickup dates were given as a week. My daughter was working on the date we agreed to, and the driver sorted out the dates and made it easier to do on a Sunday. The driver was pretty helpful. My daughter lived on a narrow street, so we brought the car to a friend’s house for better access and it worked out. The delivery address was a friend’s address with a wider street. They delivered the car there without a problem. The final pricing never changed.

I needed to transport our daughter's jeep back home from college. We were referred to Montway through a car dealer. Setting the transport up was very smooth and organized. It was just a call. The quote was spot-on to the final price as well. Pickup of the vehicle was a little rough because we're in a small area. It was not a great space for the driver to maneuver around in his big truck. It took some work, but we got it done. The driver was very professional.

Montway was a friend's recommendation. We don't know where we will end up after two years or a year and a half, so we shipped our car to not increase our expenses. It was an open auto transport. I set it up on the internet and for the final details, it was over the phone. Pickup and drop-off were scheduled between 7 to 10 days. There was good communication during pickup and I was informed about everything all the time. The car arrived in the same condition that I gave it. I could get something better with a service a little bit more expensive, but for what I paid, it was good.

I wanted to ship a Jeep Commander from Arizona to Atlanta. My interaction with the drivers was horrible. When we shipped with them the first time, they dispatched the car. They sent an email saying who’s picking it up.
We’re located inside the city of Atlanta. The driver said that the surface streets were too difficult for them to get down with the big truck and they couldn't get to us. They also said that they could pick up the car but Montway will not let the driver drive the car. We had to drive to them and it was an inconvenience.
Then on the way back, we ran into multiple issues. Our car was two days behind. We couldn't get in touch with the driver and Montway couldn't get in touch with them either. I said that I was gonna report the car stolen but they told us to wait until the morning. This was through chat and not a live person. I had to sit on hold for 45 minutes to get a live person.
We got an email first thing in the morning of Tuesday saying the car will be delivered the next day and that the truck broke down. On Wednesday, I got a text from the driver saying the car will arrive on Thursday between 10:00 and 11:00.
I called Montway to confirm if they had the right address. The address I'm seeing on my end does not have Northeast on it. It’s my son’s car and if it arrives on Thursday, he will be at work and it’s gonna need to go to a different address. Both addresses are within the city of Atlanta. The rep updates the address.
Thursday comes and I’ve heard nothing and the car was not there. I text the driver the original address just to confirm that it had the Northeast in it so that he wasn't going to the wrong place. 11 o'clock comes and I have not heard anything. We start trying to contact the driver and we can’t get him.
The driver then texts my son and says that we need to pick up the car in Doraville, which is 30 to 45 minutes from my address. He said that he couldn’t come in the city and that it was against the law.
He asked to meet close to 285. I am in the middle of the city and anywhere near 285 is going to be 30 to 45 minutes. He came up with another place that’s in Decatur which was still 30 minutes away. I agreed to it because it’s a little better than Doraville and I needed the car. But that did not help me. I was supposed to go out of town at 12:30 that day. We did not pick up the car until 12:37 and I missed everything.
I am more than a little bit annoyed. I ended up talking to a supervisor at Montway and the only thing that he could offer me was $50 off. That was a courtesy from them because the carrier was not willing to do anything because the truck having problems was out of their control.
That was not great. If the truck did break down, you can't help that but they could have picked up their phone and told somebody. I paid over $1,100 to ship that car one way and I paid for door-to-door but I didn’t get that. If the trucking company is not willing to help me out on that, it is what it is, but I will be contacting AmEx. I'm going to fight it tooth and nail. The way that all went is not okay and I'm not satisfied with it.
Overall, it’s difficult to get Montway on the phone after you’ve made the order but you can get them eventually if you sit on hold. Then they do their best to help.

I was moving from New York to California for work-related purposes, and I was recommended to Montway by a family friend who had moved to Boston from New York, who shipped their car. I did a quote online, then secured the details. It was fairly simple. Initially, the vehicle was supposed to come to my apartment, but they weren't able to deliver it the day that I needed it to. I ended up driving a little further away to pick it up, but that was easy. The transport took 10 days, which is what I was anticipating. I saw the vehicle again and it was the same beat-up vehicle I sent. I would recommend Montway’s services. It was easy to schedule the service and communication was excellent.

I used Montway a couple of years earlier and I had a good experience so I went with them again. I was out of town when the car was picked up, but I was told that the car had to be driven half a block to a larger street, but everything was fine. After four days, it arrived in Washington DC in good condition.

I called Montway, the driver went to the storage facility, picked up the car, and brought it to my house. He was punctual, thorough, and everything went smoothly. It was perfect.

I was moving across the country from Arizona to Florida. I called Montway and scheduled with them. It was easy. The price was reasonable for transporting a lifted truck and a compact SUV across the country.
I was told it would take three to five days but I got my vehicle in three days. The driver got here, picked it up and met us in Florida a day after we got here. The driver’s English needed a little bit of work but otherwise, he did fine.
I threw an AirTag in the vehicle just to track it. I wanted to see where my vehicle was because I don’t like that stretch of New Mexico. I’ve driven through that route several times myself and it’s incredibly dangerous. Overall, it was a painless and easy experience.

I was going to my summer home and I saw their positive reviews online. Their quote was accurate and competitive. They picked up my vehicle and it was excellent. I live in a high-rise so I had to meet the transporter but it was only half mile from my home. I’m using them again in the next month.

I did a Google search on military-friendly transporters when we were moving across country. Montway had good reviews so that’s how I picked them. Setting the transport up was very simple. I filled out the form online and then they called me. I gave them the type of vehicle and then we set the date.
During the pickup, I just drove the car at the edge of our neighborhood with a big parking lot and then they put the car onto the trailer. I and the driver walked around the transport and made sure that we were good to go. I signed a form saying we were good.
Then we gave them the address where the car will be dropped off. It was in my friend’s house in a town home community. But the driver didn’t go to that house. He went to the beginning of the town home community and dropped it off there even though there was plenty of room to take the trailer all the way back to my friend’s house.
They did contact my friend and said that they were gonna be 15 minutes. It’s not a star-losing issue but in the future, this could be remedied and it would be a better service. Overall, it was great the whole way through and I would still use them again.

I’ve used Montway before and I found them reliable. The process is very easy and the driver was very nice. He came right into our community and picked the vehicle up. He took pictures to make sure I get it back the same way when I dropped it off. I would recommend them.

We live in Houston, Texas and we have a house up on the East Coast to go up for the summer. And as we’re maturing in life, we decided the 26-hour drive was something we wanted to stop. So last year, we tried shipping our car north and we had a poor experience with that company. So I started calling around the different people that ship cars between Houston and this area and Montway kept coming up. So we tried them this year.
Setting up with them was all online and was really simple. The car was picked up by a pickup truck with a trailer that held two or three cars and we were the second car loaded on. It came right to the end of our street. The driver knew what he was doing and was very courteous and nice. Compared to the year before, it was like night and day for us.
The car came faster than we thought. It was supposed to be somewhere between three and seven days on the arrival and the car came in three days. So it was a good experience for us. I was present for the pickup, not for the drop-off, because the car got there before we did.
When we got to the car, the person that represented us at the delivery moved it into the garage. Last year when the other company shipped the car, I had to wash it immediately. This year, it was really clean and we were pleasantly surprised. I didn’t have to wash it right away. I also wanted to compare open carry to open carry and Montway’s was much better. It may have come up on an 18-wheeler, but the pickup was by a smaller vehicle.
I’ve only used Montway once and it was a very positive experience. We’re considering shipping our car back actually.

My daughter was working an internship over the summer out in California. We needed to transport her vehicle since she was gonna be there for 11 weeks. A close friend of mine in the neighborhood had used Montway in the past when they were moving around their son’s car. I reached out online to get a quote and the team was very responsive in getting back with the price and made it really straightforward as to what I needed to do. We gave them dates and addresses.
When it came close to transport time, they said they would be dispatching it to a trucker and I would hear directly from the trucker, which I did, on both the way out and the way back. They were also very professional and the guys that were transporting the vehicle were very communicative with me.
My daughter’s car was the last one to be picked up and it was a double-decker and. They came around 9:00 p.m. and even though we’re back in the neighborhood, they picked it up off the main street on a pretty long straightaway right outside our neighborhood.
We just had to drive the car two blocks away and then they loaded it up. It was very easy. They did the exact same thing for the return. They let me know when they were on their way and sent me a GPS coordinates on where they were. We just went a couple of blocks away and were able to pick it up.
It was an excellent experience and I would definitely refer Montway to anybody else that is in need of a vehicle transport several states away like we were. I was impressed with the responsiveness from the very beginning as well as how communicative the drivers were on both ways.

My wife and I had been living in Portland, Maine and we made a decision to move to Portland, Oregon. We have one car and I had contemplated driving it across country and came to the quick realization that was very unreasonable and I needed to ship the car across country. I checked a number of different carriers and selected Montway because they had a great price and because of the quality of the service they offered. They were very courteous, helpful and thorough about following up.
The individual who picked up my car made arrangements for me to meet him in the parking lot of a mall because he had such a very long hauler. He picked the car up on time. When I got there, I dropped the car off with him and had me sign some documentation. He was very professional and I had a nice conversation with him.
When it got here, I made arrangements and they were able to come out. They had transferred the vehicle from the original hauler that pulled across country into a smaller delivery model that delivered my car. They delivered it very quickly. I thought it was gonna take about seven days but it only took about five or six. I was surprised at how fast it was and the car was in great shape. Both the driver who picked it up and the driver who delivered it were terrific. I was absolutely delighted with the experience that I had with them.
I had also considered an enclosed move and I decided to go with an open move and I was very happy with that as well. I would highly recommend Montway to any of my family or friends. If you need to transfer your vehicle across country, they do a great job.

The first communication was through a call. After confirming it, when I wanted to do some minor changes, like pickup dates or location, I used the text 24/7 service, and someone would always be there to respond to me.
I asked for an enclosed space. There was a street where the driver was able to park his own vehicle. He was very transparent with what he needed to do. And I went along with the guidance that Montway said. So I took pictures of the vehicle and he was okay with it. He also let me take a picture of his ID for insurance as well. That made me feel a little bit better. He was just a chill guy. And, I tipped him for the service as well.

Was told that I would not be charged $249.00. When I tried to cancel two months prior to shipment, was shown fine print. Also extremely difficult to cancel, only let me cancel after dealing with an extremely pushy and rude manager.

I shipped my 2009 Subaru from CA to NC with no real issues. Scoured websites for reviews and ultimately settled on Montway as the broker. I received a call from a real person pretty quickly, and a quote that seemed realistic--$1539 (compared to other quotes of 600-700$ from scammy scheming companies). They let me know via email and text when they had found a driver/transport cmopany and gave me his info so I could communicate directly with him. Once the drive was assigned, their chunk of the price/cut was taken from my card ($339).
The transport company was able to accommodate my pickup date (and actually the driver called the day before to see if it was ready then, but was able to wait until the actual day I had requested to take it). We met at a Target parking lot where he could fit the trailer, loaded the car up, he took a bunch of pictures for the BOL document, and then practically beat us back to the East Coast! We met a couple blocks from our house to go pick it up, no issues, car was the same dirty that we left it and all fine. Paid the driver his share ($1200) via Venmo, and that was that! For a process that feels very vulnerable and ripe for exploitation, this went quite well. I would use them again if I ever had to.

The Montway is the best company Comparatively others. The delivery guy Cuadra Y was so awesome at his job. He delivered the vehicle as he promised. Definitely recommend. I will always use this company. I got the estimate from Nexus first and they changed from their estimated price. They were asking $500 more than they estimated. I won’t believe that. But I felt comfortable dealing with Montway.

It was very easy to schedule transport of my Citroen SM. The folks I talked to at Montway were very professional and answered my questions. Shortly after booking the transport, Brett (the driver) contacted me and we scheduled a tentative pick-up date and location. Brett was most impressive. Good communication, thorough inspection of the car, excellent truck and trailer, etc. The Citroen has some idiosyncrasies and he made sure he followed my guidance when moving the car. I needed to move a car I bought from Hickory, North Carolina back to my place, which Montway handled very well. I got the car in my front yard about a week after the purchase, and this was pretty satisfying given the circumstances.
The driver who transported my vehicle was exceptionally friendly, making the process even smoother. I did face a minor challenge when trying to figure out payment details, but aside from that, everything was seamless. I appreciated Montway’s overall service – excellent customer interaction and a reasonable price added to the positive experience. I paid around $800, which matched up with my expectations and was fairly competitive.

I contracted with Montway Auto Transport to ship my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport from Benbrook, TX to Hampton Bays, NY. The shipment was assigned to a carrier, 571 SAV Inc, and issues began during the pickup process. Despite early concerns, I moved forward with the transport in good faith. Upon delivery, however, my concerns were confirmed.
Montway’s assigned carrier delivered my vehicle at night, preventing a proper inspection. The next day, I discovered: Visible damage to the front pillars, which may be structural. Permanent marker stains on the driver's leather seat — the only seat the carrier had access to. I promptly filed a damage claim with Montway. In response, Montway offered a $624.05 settlement, but only if I signed a Release and Satisfaction Agreement that: Waived my right to pursue further claims, even if future inspection revealed additional or structural damage. Prohibited me from filing complaints with regulatory bodies, including the FMCSA or state consumer protection agencies. Contained a non-disparagement clause, preventing me from publicly sharing my experience in any forum.
The terms presented were legally overreaching and coercive. As a customer, I was asked to choose between compensation and my First Amendment right to speak truthfully about my experience. Additionally, when I requested the carrier's insurance information in order to file a claim through the proper channels, Montway refused to provide it, despite their obligations under FMCSA broker regulations.
This approach is not only unethical but raises serious legal questions about Montway's compliance with federal transportation regulations and consumer protection standards. I have since filed a formal complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Consumers should be aware that Montway’s claims process prioritizes liability control over accountability, and their use of restrictive legal agreements appears designed to suppress transparency and limit recourse for legitimate claims. I strongly advise others to use caution when considering Montway. If damage occurs during transport, you may be pressured into silence in exchange for a nominal settlement — while being denied the tools necessary to pursue proper insurance recovery.

The pick-up point was in Tempe, with drop-off in Cal City, Illinois, and the transport took about five days, sticking quite closely to the schedule.

Frankly, The carrier for return of my car had a problem getting my car door to door due to construction, but they also did not navigate locating parking with their big truck with ease. They tried their best, but freaked me out by their uncertainty and their skittishness. The second driver was the driver's wife.

My son was moving out of state and I had to find a reliable service. My initial experiences with another company were disappointing, as they ripped me off. After researching online, I realized Montway had excellent reviews and decided to give them a chance. Fortunately, they exceeded my expectations. Their service was incredibly user-friendly, and the entire process was smooth.
The pickup and delivery of my son's vehicle went great, without any hitches. As for the cost, I found the quote to be reasonable, although it would have been even better if it was cheaper. Overall, the customer service was exceptional, earning a top rating from me. They were able to pick up my car the same day, and delivered it to Virginia at roughly ~2AM the following morning. Normally an ~11 hour drive - they must've driven straight through all the way there!! The car was delivered as sent; with absolutely no damage!!

Great service. Was kept in the loop by the driver during transit. Was going from a residence to another residence so had to ensure someone was home to release and then accept the delivery. Driver was courteous and flexible. Had to be told that you just can’t show up to a house at noon on a Wednesday unannounced and just expect someone to be there. Will definitely use this service in the future.

Was overall happy with service, reliability and ability to communicate with driver during transport. Car was picked up and dropped off in timely manner. There was no physical damages to car and contents remained untouched. My only concern was I had to get the car re-aligned. The steering was off. That was not an issue prior to transport because I had my mechanic do an overall check. I would still use this company however because of reliability and comfort in knowing that my car will get there safely.

Overall, I was really pleased with the service. The person from Montway was incredibly skilled; I was impressed by their ability to handle an 80 ft long truck with ease. Not only was he competent, but he was also a likable individual and made the whole process enjoyable.
In terms of pricing, while everything seems high these days, I genuinely thought Montway offered a fair deal. Considering market rates and the fluctuations in fuel costs, their price was reasonable compared to other quotes I had looked into. We had a great experience when shipping my son’s car back from college across the country. Montway was recommended by other parents. Communication was good with the company and driver. My son did need to unexpectedly meet the driver to pick up his car as the driver had concerns getting into his apartment complex. I want to sell my car to my friend. Montway Auto Transport's way is easier because it's gonna be online. Just book the day and they're gonna send the truck to take the car. When the pickup day arrived, the Montway team was excellent in communication. They sent me updates via text, letting me know when the truck would arrive, and the driver communicated when he was an hour away. Since I have homes in both San Diego and Massachusetts, I needed a reliable service to transport my car between the two. Though there are many concerning stories online about transport services, Montway seemed reputable, so I took a chance. Over the years, I've transported my car round-trip three times and faced just one problematic experience.
Most interactions with Montway's representatives were satisfactory, contributing to my positive perception of them as a solid broker service. However, there was an incident where the agreed-upon price increased by $50 at the last minute to ensure pick-up before my flight, which left me feeling uneasy about the guarantee of service.
On the roadside, I've typically found their drivers dependable, except for one instance with a different company, TLC Limited. The driver appeared confused and had trouble finding the location. When I finally received the car, I discovered the windows were left down and the trunk partially opened, which led to soaked seats and important documents getting ruined due to rain. Despite these issues, after six transports, five were perfect, highlighting Montway's generally excellent service.

I found Montway online and my initial conversation with their representative was very pleasant. Unlike another company I spoke with, they were slightly more expensive but their staff was courteous and didn’t pressure me. This friendly interaction convinced me to choose Montway. I'd rather spend the money and not have to deal with belligerent people.
The delivery process itself was smooth with no issues; however, I did face a challenge when it came to getting a receipt for the cash I paid upon receiving my vehicle. I was getting a relocation expense reimbursement and the money that I paid Montway was on my original statement, but the person who dropped off the vehicle couldn't give me a receipt for the cash I paid. Montway couldn't give me a receipt for money I didn't pay them. I didn't like that. I struggled with a lack of proof – something that typically concerns me as it affects my expense claims. Despite working things out with my employer eventually, the absence of this receipt for the final payment was quite inconvenient. No one wants to reimburse people for cash payments. Even though my employer could see that I got my vehicle, they don't know if it was a reduced price. It was weird that I couldn't get a final statement showing paid in full.
Overall, outside of the receipt issue, my experience with Montway was good, and I would rate it a 4. If they can improve the documentation provided at the transaction's end, they would be easier to wholeheartedly recommend to others.

I needed a transport service because we were moving from Montana to South Carolina, so we contacted Montway. Setting up the transport was not hard, but we had a one-day delay. They were supposed to pick the car up on a particular date, and I got a call that morning saying that the transport vehicle had broken down, and they were working on getting another driver. Then they called the next morning to tell me they had a driver and the driver would be there that day to pick up the car. The drivers were very nice.

My experience with Montway was good, but it was a little confusing going between them and the company that handled my car transport. From my understanding, the drivers were from a different company that Montway contracts with. It was a little challenging when I wanted to get information about the whereabouts of my car. When I contacted the other company to find out when it was gonna be dropped off, the reps weren’t very sure. That could have been handled a little bit more smoothly. My car was delayed by three days. Other than that, everything went smoothly. The dude that picked up my car was very nice to my family members who received the car. He always answered my phone calls when I asked him what state he was in.

I’ve used Montway for the last four years, and I’ve had a good experience with them. They take pretty good care of the car. It’s the timeliness that sometimes causes me a lot of anxiety. I go to Florida for the winter, and I don’t wanna get there and have my car get there before me. It’s the same way when I’m coming home.
When I go to Florida, there’s a little drawbridge over the waterway that doesn’t allow much weight. The drivers usually have to find a place on the mainland to park their truck. They’ll drive my car out to me, and I’ll take it and drive them back to their truck. That works out. A lot of the drivers are foreign, and I have a little trouble understanding their accent. I haven’t had anybody that was discourteous or anything. Sometimes when I try to contact them, I get no response. More responsiveness would be good.
The only problem I had was two years ago. I threw an Apple AirTag in the back of my car. They came timely and picked the car up a couple days before I flew down to Florida. Five days later, I hadn’t gotten any information. I usually get information with the driver’s names and contact information. I looked for my AirTag, and it was in Texas going to Arizona instead of Florida. It’s just an error on someone’s part. They got me 300 or 400 bucks back.

We needed to ship a car from Jacksonville to Chicago. My husband did some research and saw that Montway had good reviews and the costs were very reasonable. Setting up the transport was fairly easy. My husband and I don't like talking to people on the phone, so it was great that their chat works very well. My husband just did it online.
The transport took three days. There was a little mix-up on the pick-up because I thought I’d have more time. The dispatch said the guy was gonna be there in two hours, and I was four hours away. But it worked out. The driver was really communicative and waited for me to get there so we didn’t have to reschedule it.
It was a little confusing because we were paying cash on delivery. It said on the website that anybody can receive the car, so we designated my nephew to receive it. I thought I’d be contacted to give my credit card to pay the driver. When the driver got there, he told my nephew that he owed $850. But it took a simple phone call and was resolved in five minutes. I just paid the driver through Zelle. That was the only glitch that we had. If I’d known that, I would have given him the $850 ahead of time.

It’s super easy to get in contact with Montway. I signed up online and the delivery was absolutely awesome. I’ve transported a lot of cars. They’re the best ever. I like that they’re on time, have clear communication, reasonable expectations, overall nice guy, and they have respect for the vehicle. I would use them again.
I told Montway that I wanted to put extra 150lbs of clothes in the car and they charged for it. When I mentioned it to the driver, he said it didn’t matter and they shouldn’t have charged me. That was cheesy. But other than that, they made the transport easy.

We used Montway because we were going to Florida for the month, and we wanted to bring our car down with us. And Montway was recommended to us by a friend. Setting up the transport was easy, even though it was the first time I did it. And so, they picked up our car from our home in Park Ridge, Illinois, and it was taken down to Naples, Florida. It left our place on a Sunday, and it arrived at the location on a Wednesday.
I’m in a residential area, but there’s a main street not too far away. And during pick-up, the driver pulled his flatbed over there, and then we took the car a block away. I saw him load it, and off it went. And then when it got to Florida, it was going to a residential area again. So, we met him on the main street and took it from there. The driver going down was just the nicest guy. I met him, and he was personable. And so was the guy coming back.

I needed a transfer service because I was going to be spending the winter in Arizona and I didn’t want to drive there. Setting it up with Montway was fine. It was easy. Communication with the reps was excellent.
How much they told me it would cost was accurate. I did a buy-up to have a specific day delivery, but the quote was exactly what I paid.
One direction was good, and the other direction was bad.
My car had some dents in it when it arrived. The guys who unloaded it – the subcontractor of Montway – were very rude and refused to give me the bill of lading. I found out later that you need that to file a damage claim.
The people who did the transfer back to where I live in Pennsylvania were great. That was perfectÏ, but that’s not really Montway because they contract with other people.
Montway is just like a facilitator of transport companies. They're not actually the company that's transporting anything, so it's gonna be hit or miss depending on who you contract with.

We were moving across the country, from Arizona to Wisconsin, and picked Montway after I did some internet research on three or four transfer services.
It was a good experience and pretty straightforward. It was easy to schedule it. The quote, we were able to get it right away online, and it was very accurate. We chatted with somebody through the website when we had a question.
The driver was really friendly and just made everything pretty easy. He did a good job. He called before he came, and he would drop a pin to say where he was exactly. He was good at finding an appropriate spot in the street to put the truck where loading would work.
It was kind of complicated for us because some of us had already traveled to where we were moving. We told Montway to talk to the other people who were helping with the move, and they did that. It worked really well.

We live in New York, and we have a condo in Florida that we visit several times a year. I usually ship one of our cars in the fall and bring it back in April. I’ve used Road Runner Transportation Services for several years, and they’ve been very good.
Until last year, I had poor experiences with them both shipping down and back. I went online and looked for a different shipping company. There were a lot of good reviews for Montway, so I decided to go with them.
That was part of what I liked about them. Because of Road Runner, it became impossible to communicate with them. Montway was much better, you set it up online and then someone calls you and go over the details.
Right before it was time to pick up the cars, they would call ahead of time and let me know which company would handle it, and give me some information on that. I always felt like I could reach someone if needed. With Road Runner, you’d call repeatedly and never get anyone.
They usually say pickup and drop-off will take four or five days but it never does, it is usually done in two days.We try to coordinate it with our flights so we can be home when the car arrives, but that doesn't always happen.
Sometimes a neighbor has to accept the car for us, especially when sending it down. The car can arrive before we do, so someone else has to receive it.
The drivers have been excellent. In fact, I had the same driver for both Road Runner and Montway. I know they contract with different shipping companies depending on availability and destination. I’ve had a guy from Miami who’s been really good, though I don’t know his name.
This last time, I was very pleased. It was the lowest quote I’ve had in a couple of years and they stuck. With Road Runner, they’d give a quote, but as the pickup date approached, they’d either say they couldn’t make that date or that I’d have to pay more to keep it.
With Road Runner, the quote never stayed the same. But with Montway, they gave me a quote and stuck to it. That’s what I paid, and it was very reasonable. I was more than pleased.

I wouldn’t use Montway again. They give you a five day pickup window, but both of my vehicles were picked up a day or two late. They never arrived within the window they promised.
I really had to scramble. I had set up my flight and planned for them to pick up my car before I left. I used their pickup window to schedule everything, but they still hadn’t picked up my vehicle by the time I had to go. I ended up having to find someone else to deliver the vehicle to them.
There was one more thing. As the window was getting close to closing, I would call them, and they kept telling me the same thing, that they were expediting the pickup. They told me this three or four times, but they never expedited anything. They were always late. I feel like they were trained to say, "we’re expediting," but I don’t think they actually expedited anything.
The drivers and everything else were great. The only problem was Montway never once hit their window.

We used Montway because we were relocating across the country, and they were the top one on the internet. Setting up the transport was easy. The pick-up and delivery were straightforward. They communicated where they were and gave me a time window for pickup, which I agreed to. And during delivery, once we met the driver somewhere else, it took 20 minutes for him to do the paperwork. But most of that time was just setting up the ramp so I could get the car off. So, Montway did a good job. They did what they advertised.

I used other companies twice and had difficulties communicating and getting the schedule figured out. So then I decided, it’s time to try something new and tried Montway.
They're fabulous. I mainly use their chat feature and it seems to connect me to a real person, not a bot. And I get on time information about when's my car being picked up. And the companies they use to transport the vehicle seem just fine. So I'm a future customer with them.
The pick up was a little bit different this year because we had been promised they'd pick it up on a certain day, and they did. But then they took it and put it in some kind of car lot in our area for several days. So it sat there several days, and then it moved across country.
At first, I was worried about the car. But everything worked out okay. I had them deliver it to an auto dealership because I didn't know about my timing. And that worked out just fine. I would love for it to be a little less expensive, though. But we pay extra for a guaranteed pick up date. And to me, that's the price we have to pay.

I needed to get my car transported down to Florida, I looked up auto transport companies, and Montway was close by, so I called them. They were courteous, knew exactly what I wanted and gave me the information I needed. I was very pleased with the entire experience. I’ve used Montway twice now and in both cases, they were good. The last time, I had to be driven down to pick up the car because there was no way they could get up to where I live. We had to go down to the bottom and they were waiting there, and they were very efficient at getting the car off.

I’ve had no experience with transporting a car, so I was going in blind, and two acquaintances of mine who had used Montway before gave me good feedback about them. Booking the reservation was easy, and I felt comfortable with the information they were giving me. We shipped the car out in February and everything went good, except the price got changed on me for $100 more. But other than that, everything went well and I was so happy everything was done. The timing was right and the first person I dealt with was very nice.

I had a previous pleasant experience with Montway for a move from New York to Seattle, which is why I used them again this time when we moved out of state from Washington to California. It was just that the communication was not 100% solid. I think there was some confusion around the pick dates. So, I had to re-follow up with the team. That was minor, but it would have been a major issue if I had not reached out earlier. And the day that we were flying out was the day when I wanted to essentially have the car picked up. So, it was initially scheduled for the day after we were flying out. So, it was concerning.
And the driver that they contracted with, him and his partner or wife, they were amazing. They were communicative and had a good overall attitude and energy. So, I don’t have any complaints with him at all. And he was thorough with the whole 360 check before leaving the premises with the vehicle, which I appreciate.
What would be helpful for Montway is that they should be a bit more involved, or they should have relayed that information to the driver, given that the driver was not familiar with the area. So, I did spend 15 to 20 minutes just to help navigate the driver on where to pick up because he's not familiar with the streets. I feel like, as a customer, I shouldn't need to provide this level of guidance.

My experience with Montway was excellent. I have nothing bad to say. They did exactly what they were gonna do and got our vehicle safely from Texas to Pennsylvania. So, we were pleased with them.
Their quote was a little higher than a lot of the places, but just talking to other people, they said that we’ll get what we pay for. So, I didn’t wanna go with one of the lower-priced ones and then end up with something happening to our vehicle. The pick-up and delivery was also great. They came when they said they were going to, and delivered here fine.

Montway picked up my car just outside of my neighborhood, and delivered it right at the end of the street. I had a buddy who had to receive the vehicle for me ‘cause I wasn't in town yet. But he said no issues. So, it was good for him, too. I paid 100 bucks for a quarter of a mile. Everything was smooth. The communication was forthcoming and easy, and I knew what to expect from the driver. It's been a great experience. If I move again in the future across the country, I'll definitely have Montway.

Montway did a good job. They were professional and pretty close to being on time all the time, if not a little earlier. The transport was from Chicago to Florida which took around two to three days. I got to pay a little cheaper because I booked a round trip, so that helped.

We had a great experience using Montway. Our car got to where it was supposed to be safely. And the people that we dealt with were absolutely wonderful. Probably the only small drawback is that everything happens at the last minute. When it’s last minute, it's whoever bids on the car. I understand all of that now. Knowing that, I would plan accordingly for next time. And I definitely would use them. 'Cause I feel like once you do something, you understand it.

I wasn’t happy with Montway and wouldn’t recommend them. What disappointed me most was that when I was leaving Phoenix, I had them pick up the car from my sister’s house so she wouldn’t have to wait all day. I had them come the day we were leaving because I knew she'd be home. I paid an extra $100 for that, but then the car sat in Phoenix for almost 10 days, and I ended up waiting in Minneapolis for 10 days for it.
I paid over $200 extra to have the car picked up on a specific date, but it was ridiculous. They kept saying,”It’s happening.” While I could see my car sitting in a warehouse in Phoenix.

Avoid Montway. They take about 50% and hire someone else. I had a no call/no show, and a missed appointment the next day because they were tardy. Montway blamed the company THEY hired and said it wasn’t their fault and there was nothing they could do.

My car wouldn’t make a cross-country drive, so I needed to ship it. The representative was pretty good. The pickup time, making sure they could pick it up and all that, was nerve-wracking, but it was pretty good. The price was cheaper than the one from the place we used before we moved. I chose to use Montway because I found them to be more reasonably priced. I wasn’t looking for the best deal, but I was looking for a reasonable price for transporting my vehicles. But I also wanted good customer service that I would feel comfortable with.
And when I called them, I was always able to get ahold of someone who seemed to know who I was by just looking up the locator number. And then they would tell me exactly what I wanted to hear regarding when the vehicle was gonna be shipped, when they were gonna meet me, and how they wanted the vehicle prior to shipment. So, I felt like I was in good hands. And the actual transport was fine. The driver didn’t speak English very well, but he seemed like a nice, hard-working guy. And my two vehicles were delivered without a scratch. So, I was happy.
The only thing is they should try to work on getting the ETA more accurate because I work my schedule around their promise to deliver my vehicle at a certain time. So, I was ready for them, but they were’t ready for me. They got to me a little later than they said.

I shipped a Porsche 911 and a Ford Raptor with Montway when I was transferred to the East Coast. Montway used what they call enclosed transport, but it's just a truck with a big rubber curtain on the sides. Still, it's better than a completely open one. When my vehicles arrived, they definitely needed a car wash, but it wasn't super filthy. As soon as I gave them a car wash, everything was fine. The driver was great. I had no problem.
Montway is basically just a broker, and all they're doing is taking the calls and posting it on a website where drivers look at. But if I needed to use them, I would consider using them again.

I chose Montway for their price and the fact that they do door-to-door. I didn't have to meet them in a parking lot. Everything went great with customer service. Communication was good and the rep was friendly. The only issue, but it wasn't really an issue, was that the guy who picked up the cars didn't speak English, so we had to use a translator on his phone. That was frustrating at first, trying to figure out what he was talking about or doing, but it's okay. We figured it out and got through it.

I took a different service down, but I used Montway Auto Transport coming home and they were just wonderful. I needed to move a personal vehicle, a Lincoln Nautilus, from Fort Lauderdale to Detroit. They were door-to-door and kept in contact via text, and I just love them.
Everything was excellent, and they were actually about $500 less expensive than what I paid going down. I’ll definitely use them again next year.

Once my car was picked up I received a estimate that it would arrive by 6pm the next day. Later that day I received a new estimate that it would be delivered between 9-10pm. I have now stayed up waiting for my car until 10:30pm. I have contacted my driver multiple times to ask if he is still coming for him to answer the phone then hang up on me with no answers. The communication is awful with no solid estimate of deliver because it changes every few hours. It is ridiculous for me to stay up late waiting to still not receive my car.

I go to school in another state and I had to transport my car. We did the enclosed transport by Montway. I called them to set it up and it was good. I told the guy I had found a couple of lower prices and he was able to meet that price. He was great.
The pickup took a little longer. The time was a little iffy, because we agreed on a time but they wanted to come earlier. In the end they came at the time we said. The pickup and the delivery was okay. The car was delivered safely so it was perfect. They left it near our home.
People should keep Montway in mind when they're searching for any companies.

Do not believe anything on here. Go view the Yelp page for real reviews of this company. They are a complete and total scam. Cost me over $2,000 in delays due to rebooking flights, renting cars and a complete lack of communication. All they care about is getting you to pay them crickets.

Unlike the bold advertising to the contrary, there was a hidden fee if I actually wanted to guarantee my pickup window. Original pickup not guaranteed although at first they said it was not a problem. Good phone communication and timely delivery with updates. Pretty good job by Montway from Washington to Alaska. Port of Anchorage office very efficient.

Besides being 20% less expensive than the three other carriers I received quotes from, Montway had a faster pick up date as well. I have used Montway a dozen times and they were excellent every time. I have tried to use other carriers but they are always more expensive and more inconvenient. I highly recommend Montway.

I was very apprehensive to ship my Dodge Ram truck. But I was completely satisfied. They arrived in the time frame they provided. My truck got to Arizona from Michigan in 2 days. I talked to a bunch of people over about six months while planning this. Our movers were Interstate Moving and Relocation Group. The guy I spoke with, he was the head dispatcher, was a pro and very helpful.
We made some changes to the pick-up date along the way. I was shipping two cars, but one broke down completely, so we didn’t need to ship it. One of the operators on the main line was very helpful, she gave me a small discount on the car I was shipping as an incentive to use them again. I asked if she could apply it to the other car I was co-shipping, and they gave me an additional discount. I was happy with the price and the service.
Pick-up and delivery went okay. The pick-up driver didn’t speak English, and although he had a translator app, he didn’t bring it up at first, which made coordination difficult. His partner spoke English, so once we connected with him, things went more smoothly.
I was happy. They got the car there safe and sound, which is the main thing. They actually arrived early, which caused a little confusion because I hadn’t matched the delivery date with when I’d be there. It was good and I was grateful.

I needed to move a car from Hawaii to Destin and Montway was the only one who does it. Their customer service was fine but sometimes, they would tell you things that weren't quite the truth. But for the most part, it was good. For the pick up, they told me to have it in one place in Hawaii for them to get on the boat. And it turns out the boat wasn't going to be there for three more days, so they rescheduled that. It had to be redone. And then the next one was 14 days later.

I spend time in Florida, and I needed to have my car transported back and forth. My son found out about Montway four years ago, and I’ve been using them each year. Customer service is great, and I like dealing with them. I continue to be impressed with them each year, and that is why I don’t switch my transportation companies. They are always efficient, cooperative and very nice.
I’m already used to their pickup and delivery, so I get to communicate with the actual driver. Montway gives me the information, and they give him my information. They call me in advance, and I always ask them to call me, give me an hour window so that I can be ready. And I give a suggestion where they can pick up my car and where they can drop it off. The company is always following up to make sure that I heard from my driver. Their price is fair too. I would highly recommend them.

Montway got my car here fairly quickly, a lot faster than the moving company got our furniture here. And the driver was a great guy. They weren’t terrible. They were better than our movers. But the claims process wasn’t the best. I was hoping that the car wouldn’t have any damage but I had quite a bit of a problem because they damaged our car and it took a long time to even try to get a claim filed. It was an accident as a strap was dropped down on the car bumper which knocked the paint off and dinged up the headlights, but that was about it.
When I brought it to the driver’s attention, he made it sound like it was a simple process. He said Montway will come out, look at it, get it fixed, and that I didn’t have to do anything. And then once I file the claim, then they made me do everything. They made me wait a while so that they can contact the driver and I had to keep bugging them to finally get somebody to talk to me and let me know what they found out. I turned over all the information that they requested and didn’t hear anything. So I reached out to them and asked what was going on. They said that I never emailed them anything so they closed the claim and made me deal directly with the company that they hired. Luckily, I was able to work it out with them and they paid me for the repair.
Montway wasn’t too helpful. Even when I paid $50 extra when I booked the car shipment in case anything ever happened that they would file claims quickly and have your car fixed within two weeks. They acted like they were being a middleman as a favor and that they weren’t really required to. They basically told me either call my own car insurance company and let them subrogate it, or call the number of the people they hired and try to work out something with them.
It took a month to get the money. They made me go out and get all my own quotes. They wanted at least two and trying to get somebody to quote it was kind of a pain. They didn’t really want to do it. Because a lot of those painters don’t really like doing quotes just for you to file a thing with your shipper’s insurance department. They’d prefer you getting a quote because you actually want them to work on your car.
Then, Montway didn’t agree with the quote amount even though I got multiple ones. They didn’t think it should cost that much, so I ended up letting them settle for about $500 less than what my quote said. Instead of just paying me for the cheapest quote, they then were asking me if I would drive all the way to Denver, which is 100 miles away, because they felt like where I live is probably more expensive, which I doubt because it’s like country out here. I don’t think they’re gonna be more than the city.
Once you go to the claims with Montway, you can’t call anybody. It’s email only. The problem is that you send an email, and then two or three days later, maybe you get a response. I get a question and you respond, and then three days later, you get another question and that’s how it kept going with that process. That’s why we ended up just settling out for less than what the quotes were because we just want to get it done and over with.
And then the other thing I really disagree with them is they charged me $1,500, and then I see the person that they hired got paid $800. So they almost made 100% profit, and then claimed that they didn’t really have to be the one to handle it.
Next time, I’ll just go straight to the driver instead of going through somebody like Montway. Their claims process was not fun and they’re the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with.

I did my research and Montway Auto Transport had the highest customer approval rating. Their customer service was well and I was satisfied. I just had a couple of scuff marks on my car when I picked it up. It looks like when they were loading it, they scuffed it a little bit. It wasn’t that significant though. I just hope there’d be more accuracy with the windows for pickup. But other than that, everything was okay.

I read about Montway and that their reviews were good. They seemed to have a lot of interesting and good answers to the questions that I had. We took the car to San Diego and it was picked up there. We left the car with a friend and Montway had their contact information. The driver got in touch with them and made the arrangements for the pick-up time. The car then went to Honolulu and then to Lihue. Montway had contact numbers for me. Everybody was ready when they said. They kept me apprised of when the car was picked and when it was gonna be loaded. A boat company took it from there.
The overall process was great. If I had to do it again, I would and I’d recommend Montway. The price was good. The contact was good too. I was always able to get ahold of someone. It didn't have to be just one person. I gave them my project number and they were able to help me each time. It was pretty seamless.

My family has used Montway to transport a truck for my little brother, so they recommended them to me and they were great. The transport went from Oregon to Florida, and it took about a week. It was significantly quicker than I was expecting, which was awesome. As far as communication goes, I was given ample communication the day before both pick-up and drop-off, and then a notification about it a couple of days before, and the estimate they have given me was it would take about two weeks to get down here. So, everything was super easy.

We were relocating, so we needed to transport our vehicles. I chose them because they could do it in the timeframe we needed. They weren't less expensive, but they were the ones that could do it when we needed it and could guarantee closed transport for one of the vehicles.
The drivers were great. Although it was a big pain in the beginning trying to get scheduled, getting callbacks and getting inaccurate information. I ended up having to go through the management. It was such a heartburn getting so many different stories and then finding out one of the cars couldn't get closed transport. It was pretty time-consuming. But it worked out in the end. Other than that, I had a great experience with Montway.

I looked at two transport companies and Montway was the best deal. We moved from North Carolina to Hawaii, and they were great. The rep I talked to answered all my questions. Any time I needed help, they gave me everything I needed. The quote was good too, and the final cost ended up matching the quote.
The vehicle was good when it was delivered. We got here in January, but I knew it was going to take a while to get home. We left out of Boston and they picked it up there. I wasn’t even there when that got picked up as we had already flown out. The car was at my son’s house, and they came and picked it up over there, and transported over to California. I kept in touch with him about when it was supposed to be here. They got here when they estimated it would be here, and it was fine. Overall, everything was good.

Setting up transport with Montway was seamless. Pick-up and delivery was from my home in Castle Rock, Colorado to Porsche in North Scottsdale. The young man showed up and was very careful, kind, and cordial. He took pictures of both the vehicles all the way from front to back, all around, and inside, for liability purposes. You could tell it wasn't their first rodeo. These guys had done this and did it professionally. He had the cars there the very next day and showed up at Porsche out here in Scottsdale. The vehicles were offloaded and Porsche said they were perfect. I would recommend Montway highly.

Last year, I had used someone else to ship a car, it was nothing but a major headache. I was so upset with everybody because at the last minute, nobody knew when they were gonna pick up the car. But this time, when I spoke with Montway, I did ask whether I was speaking with the company itself and not some broker, and it worked out well. They do personal. They take care of the people who pick up their vehicles and deliver, and make sure all goes well. The driver was very nice, very thoughtful, very considerate. Everyone that we worked with Montway, was just all professional people. It's a great experience.

I've used Montway once before and I just went back to them again. Their representative was willing to wrap things up. I got a quick call back and they were professional about business. They were very fine to talk to. It was a good customer service experience. The price had not gone up substantially in the past few years and I also got $100 off for paying upfront. The pricing was more than fair. The pickup and delivery was just simple. I had no problems.

We found Montway through Google, and we called and got quotes. The price was right and we could do it in the time frame we were looking for. Setting everything up was very easy, simple and thorough. The person who worked with me was very accountable and thorough, and he was easy to work with. The quote was less than what we expected to have to pay, and it was on the mid-range with all the quotes that we had.
We moved a truck and a small crossover vehicle, and they offered an open transport. Pickup was seamless. The driver was as thorough in the best way I can put it. He met us and loaded up, and they were delivered a lot sooner than we expected them to be, and so it was very simple. We would do it again. We would just highly recommend them.

My parents lost their house in the California Pacific Palisades fire, and I live in Connecticut. So, they were relocating the car temporarily so they have something here. It was a pleasant experience all the way around. I was giving a car to my son in another state, and when I scheduled it, I immediately got an email from Montway. They guaranteed me a pick- up time and they constantly sent me updates. When I needed to talk to them, I called and somebody always picked up, or they called me right back. New car transported from the dealer. Montway was easy to work with as the broker, but the transport company used did stand behind the damage caused the to the vehicle. We tried several weeks to get a resolution and the transportation company just ghosted us. Montway is pretty hands off once it's turned over to the actual transportation vendor and offered no assistance to resolve our issue despite being copied on the correspondence. Maybe Montway should pick better vendors who understand customer service so as not reflect poorly on them.

Our vehicle had guaranteed pickup for Tue 4/1. They said no long distance carrier was available and had a local company pick up the vehicle. The long distance carrier was finally assigned on Thursday 4/3. After I contacted him, he said he would not be picking up the vehicle until Monday 4/7 for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery as he had 2 stops before us. However - he didn't actually do so until late Tue 4/8. On Wed he said we were his 3rd stop and delivery would probably be Friday. This is when I told both the driver and Montway that we would not be available Saturday after noon.
Both said that wouldn't be a problem and they would accommodate my schedule. On Thursday 4/10 the driver said his trailer was being repaired. Friday night he said the repairs were finally completed and we were his third delivery. No ETA was given. Sat at 9AM he said the vehicle was on the way with a different driver and sent me the driver's and office contact numbers. I called the driver and he said the delivery would be Saturday afternoon - the one time since April 2nd we were not available. I told him that would not work and offered to meet him after our Richmond event at a truck stop between Richmond and Fredericksburg.
As it turned out we got done a little early and he was running a little late so we met instead at a shopping center in Fredericksburg. Last year we used a different company with guaranteed pick-up. The vehicle was picked up on time and delivered two days later. I only used your services because of the AARP recommendation. This delay also caused me to spend additional money to rent a car for Thursday 4/10.

I was relocating to Florida for work and needed to transport my vehicle. I went through options online and saw Montway on Forbes. There was some ad that said they’re one of the trusted companies, so I went with them. Everything was very smooth and easy. The best part of the experience was the driver. He constantly updated me by texting and calling. On the pick-up side, he chose a very good spot near where I originally wanted to be. It wasn’t inconvenient at all since it was just down the road. He even offered to take me back to my apartment after I dropped off my vehicle. I thought that was a nice gesture from him. The transport took a day sooner than I expected, which was perfect. I’d definitely go with Montway if I ever have to relocate again.

We used Montway for a transport in Kansas. One of our normal transports didn’t have anything going out that way. We were running out of time with the delivery, so we went with Montway instead. It was a nine-hour delivery. The driver called us, let us know he was here, picked up the car, and reached out to the client. It went smooth. They're efficient and their biggest asset is the two-day guaranteed pickup. It allows everything to be on a good timeline. My old GM used them before too. We’ll continue doing business with them.

After looking up various companies online and talking to a few people, I decided to go with Montway. Price and professionalism were factors. Even though Montway is a middleman and hires companies to do the transport, it seemed like they had the experience of finding the right people.
I wasn’t available at pickup, but my brother said everything went very smoothly. It was very professional. When I received the car on the other side of the country, it was pouring down rain, but the guy was very good. He communicated with me, and it was a pretty smooth process. I was impressed by how quickly the driver got across the country. I wasn't in a big hurry, but it's always nice to have it done quickly and not drag out forever. It took him less than a week to get from Florida to California. I’d use Montway again if I ever have to transport a vehicle.

Montway moved a car from Maryland to Florida for me. I got it in two days. I had no problem setting it up, though I had to pay extra to get the exact day they pick it up. Otherwise, it was gonna be a three-day window. The pick-up worked out fine. I had to drive the car about a mile or two away from my house, and the driver picked it up on a road. I put an AirTag in the back seat or glove compartment so I roughly knew where the car was at different times. On the drop-off, somebody called me and said when they were gonna be there. I had a good experience and have no complaints.

The actual setup of the Montway transport was excellent. We scheduled a week and the guy showed up on the day that was convenient for him. The payment was also accurate to the quote I was given. We moved the car out of the garage down to the street and onto the truck and he drove it away. It was delivered 24 hours later. The driver was perfect. It was a classic car and he was very careful with it. He took special care and got it on and off the truck very carefully.

I had purchased an out-of-state car and needed it shipped to California. I shopped around and Montway had the best overall price for an enclosed trailer that I was looking for. Their timing was good and the car was clean and fine once it arrived. The truck was parked out on the main street outside of my neighborhood. We had used Montway on the way to LA, so we just decided to stick with the same one since our son was using the car out there and we’re just returning it back to ourselves. The delivery was good, and there were no problems there.
Customer service was good and they answered all my questions, plus I had good interactions with the driver. The actual quote they provided was accurate. The pricing could have been a little bit better, but it was still pretty competitive with other brands. Overall, it was a great experience.

Everyone at Montway Auto Transport was responsive in answering my questions when I had questions prior to the pickup. The driver was really good. However, I literally had a five-minute notice that my car was about to be picked up. That was a little difficult. I didn't get to put everything I needed to put in my car because I had just gotten off from work. I know with pickup, it all depends on where the driver is and they give you a range. But they should provide at least an hour or two so the person can surely prepare for the pick up.

I purchased a 2019 Corvette Z-51 from a dealership in Wisconsin. Since I live in California, the most economical way to get the car to me was to use a vehicle transportation company. After researching several options I found Montway. It was easy to set up and communication was great. I opted for covered transport due to the distance and winder conditions. After the sale of the vehicle was finalized I let Montway know the car was ready for transport. They found a driver (actually 2 drivers) within a few days and the car was enroute more quickly than I expected.
The dealer (Marquart motors) sent me photos of the vehicle being loaded and the driver confirmed receipt and indicated he was en route with an ETA of about a week... which I expected. Within 3 days I received a text from the driver that he would be at my house the following morning! A full 2-3 days ahead of schedule. The truck pulled up next to my house and the car was delivered. The driver and I reviewed the pre-existing condition notes and I signed for receipt. The whole process was painless. Montway had the lowest price of the 3 places I requested bids from. I paid cash to save some money and I would not hesitate to use them in the future. Excellent experience and kudos to the careful and thoughtful drivers and company.

There are a lot of fly-by-night shippers/brokers on the internet. Don't fall for those ridiculously cheap shipping quotes because you'll NEVER get your car picked up by anyone. Montway by far has the best legit pricing and great service. I wouldn't trust anyone else for my auto shipping needs. They are one of the largest in the country. Just trust it.

Excellent customer service arranging pickup and delivery for two vehicles, reasonable pricing for cross country service. The second vehicle was delivered in the middle of the night and we woke up to it safely parked in our driveway with a text message from the driver. I highly recommend their service.

I had a good experience with Montway Auto Transport. I looked at three other companies, but it’s the biggest and has a great reputation.
The service was problem-free. It was scheduled several weeks in advance, and I was given a window of a couple of days. I dropped the vehicle off for service at a car dealership and after that was done, I had it picked up, and I never spoke to them again.
At the drop-off, somebody showed up in my driveway who was not an English speaker. He asked me to sign a document on his phone, and I looked over the car and signed the document. The car was fine, and the stuff was in the car and the trunk. I prepaid, so the price was set.

I transported my car with Montway two years ago and I just decided to use them again. Scheduling this transport went fine and the communication with the driver was perfect. He was awesome and excelled in his service. It took only six days before it was delivered on the specific date I requested. If I have to ship my car across the country again, I will definitely use Montway.

I bought a new home in Florida, and I needed to transport one of my cars down there. I went with Montway over other companies because of their ratings, reviews, and the Better Business Bureau rating. The transport organizer was terrific. He answered all our questions, and when I called to keep track of the ETA of the car, he called me back and gave me a really good ETA.
For the pickup, he couldn't get it in where I live because we live on a cul-de-sac, so we met him about two or three miles away from our home, near one of the nearest highways, near a mall parking lot. He did a really good inspection. He took out his phone camera and went up and down the car, back and front. Drop-off was seamless. He kept my son informed as to when he was going to be there. It was in a supermarket parking lot, and my son was there to retrieve the car.
The quote was accurate and competitive, maybe a little higher than I really wanted to spend, but I was really more concerned about the safety and the quality of my car getting there. I’m already recommending Montway to my brother, who is looking to buy a home in Florida to transport his car.

The transport organizer stayed in contact, let me know about the steps involved and was accurate in what the things they were saying. It was good. The transport took five days from Charlotte to Las Vegas. The driver was good and the inspection was smooth. We checked everything over and took pictures to agree on any previous damages, then I signed off on it. He texted me directly and gave me his number so I could get an ETA and if he was on target with his course.
There's a lot of complaints in this industry. The number one complaint people had in the reviews was a lot of these companies try to pull a bait-and-switch and raise the price at you last minute thinking you don’t have these options and you have to be somewhere. Another company tried to do that to me before I went with Montway. It was Transport Masters and they were very shady.
They tried to charge me $300 more and then tried to do my pick-up on the last hour of the window. It was a four-day window. At the end of the day, it was still cheaper than Montway. But I didn't trust them anymore at that point. I left my car, flew out, flew back, and then arranged it through Montway. I chose them based on reviews and ratings, and they are reliable and accurate.

I’ve used other carriers but they’re not up-front and they take too long to schedule and have the vehicle arrive. But with Montway, my experience has always been good. For the most part, they stay in communication and sometimes, they come early, which is always nice.
Also, the cost is good. I have a rep and he usually helps me out and do the best. I ship a lot with Montway and he’s able to help me out a little bit more than the other reps just to get a fair price. It’s usually in line with what I pay for transport with other transporters. But when I use outside transport, I use Montway. Also, they get a little busy sometimes, but for the most part, I’m able to get ahold of somebody and they’re able to help me out then and there.

I used Montway to ship my son's car from Texas to Seattle, Washington. We had shipped his car once before, and I was trying to use the same company we had used, but then Montway popped up. I sent a little message, and they responded the fastest. Also, I saw the reviews, so I was like, "We're just going to use them."
The setup was easy. I filled out a form online, and then they contacted me to give a pickup date. The only issue was that the pickup was supposed to be on a certain day, but they didn’t pick it up until two days later. It was a little inconvenient because we were flying out to Seattle, so I had to have my cousin leave the car at their house. On top of that, trying to contact the company on the weekend was very hard. They give you a phone number, but I wasn’t getting through to anyone, so you just have to wait for the driver to call.
The driver who picked up the car was very knowledgeable. They did charge an extra $200 because they said the car was overweight. I wasn’t there to dispute it, and that was the one thing I didn’t like. Since we had already paid the full price, I couldn’t get a refund.

Montway was fantastic. I was surprised how quickly they were able to set it up for me to pick up my car and transport. I was real happy with that. We only needed to do open transport for the type of vehicle that I was shipping. It was a small car. I was shipping my daughter's car from here to Florida to New Jersey. Pickup and delivery were very good and real simple. They brought it directly to me. I was extremely happy with the service they gave me, and I'd recommend it.

I like Montway very much. I received good service. They did a Ford Expedition for my niece, and they were so good, I wanted to do one for my daughter’s Honda Civic. They made a good impression and were very professional. I was completely satisfied with the actual service.

I purchased a vehicle out of state and I needed to get it to the state that I live in. I did some research of who were considered the best transporters of classical cars in the States and Montway's name came up on more than one site. So, I decided I'd go with them. They weren't the least expensive, but they weren't the most expensive either. Everybody that I dealt with was really nice and very helpful. When the car arrived, the driver was able to come down the road that we live on and he unloaded it off the truck.

I needed a transport service because I bought a car in Phoenix, Arizona, and I needed it shipped to my house in Humble, Texas. And I chose Montway out of the three companies that I checked because of how quickly they could do it and their price. And then setting up the transport went relatively easy. I was satisfied with what the representative told me.
Since I wasn’t there during the pick-up, I sent all the information on what the company’s pick-up hours were. I think it was till 4:30 in the afternoon. And apparently, the driver showed up at 6:30 or 7:00 on Saturday. And there just happened to be somebody there who talked to him. And then he said he was gonna come back the next day, but that didn’t happen until Monday.
And then the driver stayed in contact with me through texting back and forth after they had the car, and all that worked out perfectly. And during the drop-off of the vehicle, since I’m on a cul-de-sac street that is difficult to turn a trailer around in, I contacted the driver and gave him an alternative place, which was right at the end of my street. It was across the street, in a parking lot. Actually, it was on a side street. And he wasn’t on an 18-wheeler, but he had full behind, so just a parking lot across at the end of my street would work, where he could just pull in and unload right there in the parking lot.
And the vehicle was fine when it arrived. I’ve never seen it before, but it looked like how it probably should look. And their quote was spot-on to the final price.

I needed to pick up my father’s car after he was deceased out on Long Island but I couldn’t find someone who would give me a ride. It would take all day, it was inconvenient cost-wise to get out there and drive it back myself. I went online and was trying to find some pricing from three companies. The others were going through a lot of stuff but Montway had the easiest website to get a quick quote. I used their chatbot to get scheduled and it was really good.
The delivery was great. My only issue was not with Montway but with the E-ZPass charging my dad when the vehicle went through the toll. It was hard fighting them but everything else was perfectly fine.

I needed a vehicle moved. It was from Atlanta to Chicago, and it probably took about two days max. The representative was professional. I stayed in contact with them. It wasn't actually a residential area. It wasn't too bad. He did make sure that he had room with his truck and unloaded it pretty quickly. It was in the exact condition that it was picked up in. It went good. If you were looking to move a vehicle from out of state, you should look into Montway.

We bought a car in Carlsbad, California, and it needed to be shipped to Texas. So, I looked online, and Montway was the best one in the market at the time, listed by Forbes. So, I talked to an agent, and he asked me questions about my car. And then he gave me a quote. And then I asked him if there was a discount, and he said that a discount could be given.
And my car shipping date was not certain. So, we just set up a tentative date, and we had to keep moving it until the shipping date was certain. But the representative was available most of the time on the phone with these updates, and I was also always able to get somebody to update the dates for me.
And in the beginning, the quote that was given was increased slightly because the drivers weren’t available. And then finally, there was a driver, but he was asking for a little bit more. And they checked with me if I was okay or not. And I said I was okay, then that went forward.
So, the car was shipped by the dealer, and it took two weeks, at the most, before it was delivered to me. And then the person who brought me the car texted me saying that he was going to be here in a certain amount of time. And then he came, and he unloaded the vehicle. He was nice about it, let me check the vehicle, and he was gone. So, the car was in great condition and had no problems at all.
