I had a Toyota Highlander shipped 3,000 miles, coast to coast. This year, with the fuel prices spiking, I shopped around, but I found out that Montway Auto Transport was very competitive. They went up a bit since March, even the last three months. But I shopped around, checked a couple of prices, and they were right on. The driver exceeded my expectations. I had it delivered to my sister's place. It was in a gated community. He got the vehicle inside the gate and brought it right to her condo, which amazed her and me. It's very good. For 10 times, Montway Auto Transport moved my car correctly. There's no damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was delivered the way it left. It was excellent service. The quote was the same as the final cost.

After booking with another company who then proceeded to default on our agreement, we contacted Montway. Our plane was leaving in 2 hours and they did not hesitate to make art for our vehicle. They were on time, respectful of our dilemma and very understanding. Would highly recommend them.

I've used Montway once before, so I knew about them. The original pickup was Maryville, Tennessee and the drop-off was in Burleson, Texas, and the booking process was easy. I had to pick up both drivers, then they came back to the house and drove the cars to the trailer. They were both professional and courteous. I wanted to make sure that my vehicles arrived there when my wife was there to receive them. So, we had to change the schedule and delay the drop-off for a day. The price was adequate and the quote was very accurate. If you are shipping your vehicle for the first time, make sure to find someone reputable who has referrals from people who have used them before.

We had our car shipped from Florida to Connecticut in April. Overall a good experience, driver communicated with us, was professional and picked the car up close to us. Only, comment would be that delivery was not "door to door"... Pick up was approximately 30 minutes away at a rest area, would prefer it to be closer.

Pick up on time, delivery on time, vehicle traveled well, no unexpected costs or issues. Pretty near ideal experience... particularly when conditions forced me to cancel my first pick up reservation and get a new reservation on very short notice. Driver was a good guy.

I was unhappy with the company you chose to transport my Jeep from Florida to Illinois (Asian Auto Sales). When you assigned them I questioned you because of their small size. You said you had used them "many" times with no issues. They were late for pickup and delivery and unprofessional. I will not accept them again if I do business with you.

Montway had the best reviews when I did a research online and their customer service people were excellent. I liked the fact that they transport cars all the time and their experience was important to me. The whole transport took about a week. They said the scheduled pickup and drop-off points were my house, and it was supposed to be door-to-door. But for the pickup and drop-off, I had to wait for a long time for them and I had to go pretty far away from my house. Then, the pickup was over an hour away and that was really rough. They said that they had issues with their vehicle, so it had to be that way.
If anyone is considering using Montway, I would advise them to be really communicative with the carrier. They are a little bit more difficult to talk to because a lot of these guys don't really speak English very well and you just have to really be on top of it. Also, I put an AirTag tracker in my car so I could see where it was, and it was really comforting to know where it was going. Also, they try to get the vehicle as close as to you as they can for your convenience. They kept telling me that there was going to be a delay if they had to go any closer because they were having some difficulties with the vehicle. The price was a little steep but you get what you pay for. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. I got my car within the timeframe that they said, and there were no scratches on it. Everything that was packed in there came back unscathed and that's the important thing.

Montway was extremely professional and everything was on time. They gave me a good price as well and kept me always informed of what was going on. However, the experience was very chaotic and nerve-racking because of the company Montway contracted to deliver my car. They could not find my car and had no idea who I was. They cost me a few years of my life.
The car was supposed to be delivered on the 23rd which was my daughter's birthday. It was her birthday present. But the car did not arrive there on the 23rd. I kept calling the dispatch in Spokane, Washington. They closed their office at 4:00 PM, and I could not reach them. I called Montway. They called them then they called me back and told me they were not answering. When I got ahold of them, they did not know the make and model of the car and where it was coming from. When I confirmed it's a Toyota Camry and it was coming from Kansas, they said they didn't have it on the schedule. I am a really very calm and nice person till I yelled at this guy in Spokane. The car was delivered the next day after that.

Everything was fine, everyone I spoke to was polite and nice to speak to. I was given a price that suited me and so I decided to go for it, so far so good. the pick up was okay, then some time after he texted that he was not able to deliver at the time promised, that was not acceptable, but it worked out that the receiver got sick and had to go home, so she was able to be there when the driver got there. I was satisfied.... Here comes the big stink, when I checked my account lo and behold, an additional $50.00 added to my bill that no one can give me a plausible explanation to. In my mind that constitutes dishonesty. Not ever using you again! Word of mouth goes a long way and my mouth will go the distance. You asked, I answered.

A good timely job. Car was well cared for. Only problem is that the delivery was not to my house (where it had been picked up before). The trailer was too big for going up my street, so I had to drive 25 minutes away to meet the delivery. That is not good.

They guaranteed pick up same day but my car was in their garage 30 minutes far from my house for one whole week before any movement. I was stressed cause there was no news about my vehicle for so long.

The Driver & Care he took was amazing. Communication was excellent thru the entire process. Price was fair and I know I would use again especially if it was same driver. The timing stayed on track and was actually earlier on the pickup and drop off which was good.

Car was delivered quickly, 1500 miles in about a week from sign up to delivery, price was very reasonable. Approx $1,800. Car was very dirty inside and out, driver who did not speak good english said he had to pull out to get another car out in a duststorm. My almost new 800 mile Black Hellcat Jailbreak was filthy top to bottom. 10-14 days after delivery I get a call from guy named Chris asking about the balance I gave the driver in cash at time of delivery in 100 bills. No findy, are you sure you gave driver the money. Yeah, I'm sure delivery was COD cash. Car was not dented or scratched but filthy from top to bottom. The disappearing money was also troublesome.
Hello and thank you for reaching out. Enclosed shipping is a great option to keep a vehicle safe from road hazards or harsh weather; however, it will not keep a vehicle free from dust and dirt. Large trailers sometimes have an open bottom, which will allow dust particles or road grime to get inside the trailer and settle on a vehicle. We often see the same dirt in smaller enclosed trailers. They are not airtight, thus allowing dust particles to seep inside, or the interior lining material may even shed while the trailer vibrates and bounces during the trip.
I've looked over the delivery pictures and see nothing out of the ordinary with an enclosed shipment. Please keep in mind for future shipments that the vehicle may arrive with some dust and dirt, but it is far superior protection over an open haul of the same distance.

Unfortunately it took our car 9 days to ship (then 2 days shipping) with very little communication. Also, I had to text both carriers, both ways on my own to get any idea of when they were arriving, where to meet them, and all the pickup/dropoff details. Very stressful experience all around and frustrating for the premium price I paid.

I was happy with the service of the contract pickup and delivery drivers, and the car was delivered when promised, and in good shape. One area needing improvement is customer communication with the Montway representatives. They were not very proactive in their communications about pickup and delivery timing, and were slow to get back to me when I had questions about timing and other details of the pickup and delivery.

While they were efficient, the car was delivered with terrible scratches on both sides of the car. I paid for insurance, but they said it had run out by the time I filed the claim. The transport service they outsourced never returned my calls and assumed no responsibility. So, basically my car was moved, but is now severely damaged and the whole thing will cost me three times as much as I originally paid to have it transported. I would not trust this company.

Montway Auto Transport is a licensed auto transport broker. Our role is to arrange transportation with a licensed and insured motor carrier; we do not physically transport vehicles. The carrier is responsible for the vehicle while it is in their care, custody, and control.
Per standard industry policy, any damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier. At the time of booking, Montway sends an email outlining the claims process, including documenting damage on the delivery Bill of Lading and submitting a written claim within the required timeframe. We recommend reviewing that email for next steps.
While Montway cannot assume liability or adjudicate claims, we can assist by providing carrier insurance details and helping facilitate communication where possible. If you have questions, please email us at claims@montway.com.

The dispatch operator was courteous and informative when he answered my questions. The driver called me in advance on the date I had scheduled to tell me what time he expected to arrive to pick up my car. He arrived on time and was very courteous. After I checked the markings on the cab of the tractor trailer as I was instructed by the dispatcher, I handed him the key and watched as he carefully loaded my car onto the tractor. He arrived at the destination in Florida in three days. I texted in advance, the Florida contact information and it went smoothly upon his arrival. He parked my car in my assigned parking spot and handed the keys to my designee. Then several days later I boarded a flight to join my car.
This was my first time to transport my car anywhere and I am very happy with the outcome. I texted a “thank you” to the driver and he texted a thank you back to me for the information to facilitate a smooth delivery. I am very appreciative to Montway Auto Transport for the easy process to get my car to my new home even before I got there! I feel the price was really reasonable and affordable for my budget. Thank you Montway for being there for me when I needed you.

I used Montway Auto Transport to deliver my 2025 Porsche Cayenne to Hilton Head Island, SC in January. Used them again to transport my vehicle back to my Porsche dealership in Clifton Park, NY in May. They did a super job & I highly recommend them. My Cayenne was safely transported. Incredibly smooth and professional once the driver was assigned. It took a couple more days than expected to get the driver assigned, however once the driver was assigned, it was a smooth & efficient cross-country delivery in around 24 hours from pickup to home delivery. This made up for the longer than expected driver assignment timeline.

My whole experience start to finish was so easy with Montway! I was reluctant to ship my car from Florida to Colorado (because I have never shipped a car before and I was nervous about EVERYTHING). It was easy to arrange the shipping and return of our vehicle to and from the Southwest for the winter. Both the Montway personnel and the carriers they contracted with for transporting our vehicle were professional and friendly. Always very responsive to any questions we had during the shipping process. Definitely will use them again next year for our "Snow Bird" trip to California and Arizona for the winter.

I was not happy with the Montway experience on the way down to Florida. My car was picked up from my house in a timely manner but it was 5 days late in getting to my condo in Florida. All told it was 9 days from the time my car was picked up at my house until it was delivered to my condo in Florida. On the way back everything went well and my car was waiting for me in Winthrop when we arrived home. I will give Montway one more try this winter as they have been very reliable in the 3 years we have used them.

We were new to this service but were so pleased with the outcome. We called on Monday, our car was picked up by solo carrier on Tuesday afternoon in Alabama and was delivered Wednesday noon in Wisconsin. The driver was careful in loading and securing our car. We are very pleased with this service.

The initial driver was on time and very profession in loading and friendly. I was not told that my cars were going to another place to be moved to another transport vehicle. Also had a difficult time establishing where my cars were on the day of promised delivery. Again, a different driver and transport vehicle.

The transport of our Rav was a few days earlier than originally scheduled. The pick up of the Rav in Michigan and drop off our vehicle in Minnesota was prop and communication was good. The transport driver was careful loading and unloading the vehicle onto the transport trailer used and had good communication leading up to delivery on each end of the approximate 800 mile transport trip.

The steering wheel of my car was damaged and can’t get a response from Montway about damages, even though I sent 3 emails, called few times and got no proper response. That steering wheel rash is very noticeable to touch and has been bugging me since I received the car. When I called regarding the damage they told me the interior of the vehicle is not covered which is concerning.

The first driver had mechanical problems. I was not given good communication, and he was very late. He could not move the car and eventually had to abandon it. The second carrier was perfect. While this was not Montway's fault, I can't give it five stars. What was well worth noting though was that I was always able to reach Montway, and they were professional and helpful. This is what distinguishes them from the rest. I would use them again.

Once we got the right pickup date all went smoothly. Car was delivered as we gave it to them, no issues at all. I was surprised that the cost had jumped but that was consistent among all shippers. Both the pick up time and the delivery time were just as requested!

It took a lot of phone calls on my part and back and forth with carriers/drivers that Montway assigned to get this done. First driver had an issue and could not pick up as scheduled, but didn't contact me to let me know. 2nd driver could not drive a manual transmission - after I had talked with the carrier and stressed that it was a manual vehicle and driver needed to be able to drive a stick. The carrier suggested my representative who was with the car drive it onto the trailer. When questioning the liability aspects of this, the carrier just laughed and kept saying "it will be fine." However if something goes wrong, the carrier would not be liable, I would. After contacting Montway AGAIN, they sent a 3rd driver. The 3rd driver was very communicative, was able to drive a manual transmission, and did a good job.
Very frustrating that I had to spend that much time, deal with that much incompetence, a carrier who clearly did not care about the handling of my vehicle or whose responsibility any damage/injury it would be. I won't be using Montway again, and suggest that others use a different company. Deal directly with your carrier rather than a "broker" like Montway. It would be worth it to pay a little more to have it done right the first time. Montway offered no compensation and only backhanded apologies ("we apologize, BUT...").

The contracted company never went to the intermediate pickup point for final delivery.... When I called they claimed they went there and the car would not start and denied the pickup based on the car not running... I called the owners of the yard of the intermediate pick up point and they said the contracted company never arrived. Further, I asked them to try and start the car and it started without problem... A new contractor was assigned and delivered the cars without a problem... The original contractor was a liar. How about compensation for all the time I spent tracking down the lying contractor....

Price was incredibly high, did not purchase vehicle because cost of transport would eliminate any profit. It was a long trip, but still priced at close to $2.00 a mile. No indication that they could do any better. Aside from that, they have been decent to work with. Last trip could have avoided storage fees, but they did not put it out for acceptance for a couple days after contract.

I needed the car from my father and had to get it shipped from Ohio to South Carolina. We went with Montway because they were the ones who were able to do it the quickest amount of time. It was an easy call. I just said I needed the car transferred from Ohio to South Carolina, and they said they could do it the next day, and they did. The driver was very friendly and helpful as well. We had driven the car from Florida to New York and didn't wanna do that again. We set up the transport with Montway and were concerned that the car would get scratches. The rep assured us that they do this all the time and it would be fine. The pick-up point was Palm Beach, and the driver that picked up the car noticed we hadn't taken off something from the car and pointed it out. They told us the transport could take anywhere from three to five days, and it took three days. The car arrived safely. We had a good experience with Montway. Everyone was very professional and helpful.

I was relocated for work across the country. I put out a BCC email to about 10 different providers, and there were a couple that were within the price range. Then I went back to Montway, and I asked them if they could be at a certain price and they said, yes. Setting up the move was a seamless process. I didn't have to upload anything. I was very clear about the car, the year or the make, and the model. They came to my house, picked it up, and then took it to my house in Texas. The driver wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he got the job done. The car arrived pretty much the same as it left.

I contacted a couple of other brokers before deciding on Montway. They had good reviews and when I talked to somebody there, they were able to line up a transport carrier very quickly. The whole experience was very good when I set up the transport with the rep. I went from Virginia to Texas, and the quote stayed the same and the vehicle was undamaged. The pricing was a little higher, but they got it done right away, which was what I was looking for.

I put out three bids, and Montway was the first to respond. My experience with them was easy. I put down the deposit, and they came, picked up the car, and boom, next thing I know, there it was. Montway's customer service is good. There was a lot of miscommunication on scheduling, and they hooked us up with an earlier date, but it was not workable. When it came down to executing on a Friday, they said, "Oh, we're going to be there Thursday day of," and it was impossible. That stuff was clunky. My daughter felt a lot of pressure from the drivers to, "Fine, let's get going." It was unprofessional, but that may be due to the nature of transporting across the country. At the end, it was pushy and not practical.

I needed to ship a Ford Mach-E for about 1,200 miles from Fort Worth to Tallahassee, Florida. I did an internet search and it looked like Montway had a large network. Their prices were also competitive. They offered both open and closed transport, and I did the enclosed. They initially said somebody was coming out to pick up the vehicle on a Friday, which was the next day after I had booked. But they canceled, because they said that my vehicle wouldn't fit in their trailer. Then I didn't hear back for a day or two and I started getting a little worried. But they sent me something that Sunday saying that somebody was coming out to pick it up that Monday, and somebody actually did. So, there really was no harm, no foul. Overall, Montway was good and they did their job. The price seemed like a lot of money, but it was really quite affordable compared to other companies. So, I haven't had real complaints.

I used Montway to transport my car from our winter location to another location. Their rep was very good and their price was competitive. It was also accurate. But the transport took a very long time. It took a full week. I requested a guaranteed pickup date, and they picked it up on that day like they guaranteed, but they were not able to get a transporter to deliver it all the way. The car got to within a couple hundred miles of our destination and it sat there for almost a week waiting to get somebody to transport it to us. I was not satisfied with that part. They don't guarantee when it'll get there, but that was a little disappointing. It was so close but still far. We had it done once and it didn't take quite like that. Other than that, everything with Montway was great. They have always been very prompt at answering my calls.

I had a good experience with Montway Auto Transport. It's easy to recognize poor service, but sometimes we put aside the time to recognize good service. We had a last-minute move, my son, from Los Angeles to Detroit. Vacillating whether or not to have him drive the car, we finally decided to ship it. We did a little research online and Montway came back with some good reviews and good comments. We had a couple contacts with them. They were very forward and arranged to pick up and deliver the car. Both were on time, if not a little early, and there were no issues.
Sometimes, too much customer service is more time-consuming for some than necessary, but Montway was well above and beyond any expectation of the follow-up. Their tracking system and their backend for their software was quite informative. So, I have no complaints about that. We were informed, regardless of whether I spoke to them. The customer service was good.

Montway was prompt. The price was good though it went from $1,190 and some to $1,529 within a month and a half. But they told me the quote was good for 15, 30 days and it may change again. I also figured it was ‘cause gas prices went up. Other than that, it was good. I am glad that I paid for it because they took good care of my vehicle. I was also expecting for the delivery a couple of days later but they ended up coming in earlier. I would recommend Montway.

I purchased a new car from a dealer in Illinois right on the other side of Chicago, and I hired Montway to pick the car up and bring it to Marlboro, Maryland. I was given pictures from a dealership of them picking it up and putting it on their flatbed before the transport. I gave them directions on where I wanted them to deliver the vehicle. They delivered it within one hour of our pre-scheduled projected time frame the next day. And at that point, I paid them the balance of what was due at the time. The whole transport was 800-some dollars but the company that was orchestrating this took their fee off the top of 300-some dollars. Then, I paid the actual transporter $500 on the spot.
There was no damage to the vehicle during transport. It was a brand-new car, so I had extra insurance just in case, but there were no problems. The driver delivered the vehicle, and I paid upon delivery. Everything went smoothly. I thought it was going to be on a bigger truck, like one of these huge double-decker auto transports. But it was a single-decker. It's no big deal. Montway was very professional and the customer service was very good. I viewed three other transporters that were operating out of that region of the country and their pricing was very competitive.

Montway could not a find a carrier within 6 days of the preferred pick-up date. Also, I was forced to agree to a $500 increase but still, they were unable to secure a carrier. After 6 days, I cancelled and was forced to make alternative plans. It was a miserable experience, waiting on hold and more waiting, and NO CARRIER! If I could, I would rate them -5 stars. I would never recommend Montway based on this experience.

I was relocating from Tennessee to Florida. And I needed a transport for my classic '71 convertible, Chevelle. Montway had great ratings. And I had used them before to transport a 1966 convertible Lincoln I had from Oklahoma to Tennessee. My car was beautiful when they left. And it was beautiful when they dropped it off. They were fair. The number was great. People came in $400 or $500 higher than them sometimes. And another thing, each time I used them, they came a day or so sooner than what was projected, which worked out for me in both cases. I didn't have to rearrange my life at all for either pickup. The driver was also great at communication. He let me know when he made it. Then he let me know when he was heading, and when he was about to pull up and drop the car off.

0 stars if I could give them. We booked auto transport with Montway back in March for a quoted price of $1,069 for our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek from Texas to California. We planned our entire cross-country move around this reservation and pickup window. Then, during the actual pickup week, the price suddenly increased to $1,309 — over $240 higher than the confirmed quote we originally agreed to.
To make matters worse, the company changed the payment structure and began discussing COD balances and additional charges that were never clearly communicated at booking. We spent hours trying to get straight answers from customer service, and every conversation felt inconsistent. One representative would say one thing, another would say something different. We repeatedly had to explain the same situation over and over.
The most frustrating part was the complete lack of urgency and transparency. We were on the final day of our pickup window with no assigned carrier, no timeline, and no meaningful updates. We explained multiple times that we had no backup transportation plan and were relocating states with our family, yet we kept receiving vague scripted responses like ‘we are working on it’ and ‘we hope to have an update soon.’ Customer service acknowledged they had not even charged the deposit yet because no carrier had been assigned, despite us being told throughout the process that things were moving forward. We asked reasonable questions about refunds, timing, and pricing changes and never received clear accountability or solutions.
Moving across the country is stressful enough without a transport company adding uncertainty, last-minute price increases, and poor communication. We chose this company because of their reputation, but our experience has been incredibly disappointing and unreliable. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company — especially if you are depending on them during a time-sensitive move.

I went online and did a bunch of research, looked at a lot of reviews, and Montway was hands-down the winner on reviews and just looks like a quality company. So, I decided to go with them. I was nervous because I had never used a transport company before. I was not in the same state that the vehicle was in. I'm across the country. I was going to be there in that state for a three-day period and I wanted to be there when the car was picked up. And they offered a service where, for not very much more money, they could guarantee a pickup date for me. For me, that was huge because I wanted to be there when the car was picked up.
However, I assumed that I would get a notice a little bit ahead of time, letting me know which driver was assigned to pick my car up. But after figuring out how this works, that they don't assign the vehicle or the driver until pretty close to the date. That was okay, but at first, I was like, "Oh, no. I haven't heard anything.” But the communication was good. As soon as they assigned a driver, I got plenty of emails and text messages letting me know who was picking it up, where it was in the whole process, and where it was going. That was cool. Then the driver himself was awesome. He let me know what time he was going to be in the area, called me that morning, and said, "I'm 30 minutes out." Everything went nicely and smoothly. There were no hidden fees as well. It was exactly what they had advertised. I'm happy with the whole process with Montway.

I have been a customer of Montway for a few years and have been very happy with my experience.. This year's transport from Florida to RI is the exception. My car was delayed a week getting to RI because a driver could not be found who was going to RI in my timeframe. The driver who picked up my car never mentioned he was going to NJ. I made many calls to Montway's customer service (waiting periods were exceptionally long) but no one had an explanation (until the very last, extremely helpful customer service representative) explained the difficulty with the lack of a driver.
I would not have had a problem with the delay if someone had explained to me at the very beginning of the transport. I had taken a few days medication with me on the plane, but I had to pay out of pocket for the unplanned days replacement, I would have planned and brought additional medication with me, if I had been aware of the possible delay. I left a text/email with A.J. **, which he never responded to. I am unhappy with the lack of communication.

Montway Auto Transport helped. The cost is competitive, and you can, at all times, reach somebody. Also, they were responsive. We had an issue where the driver's hauler broke down. But it was confusion about which company it was because he worked for multiple people. There was a bit of confusion on one of our trips, and the car got there 10 days later, which meant we needed to pay for a rental car. That's the only thing they weren't very responsive about. Other than that, they let us know what was going on. They are good about giving the direct contact, and the driver let us know what was going on once we called because we could see he was stuck in Providence. The vehicle is in perfect condition, but they were very good about it. We used them again to drive back. Overall, a decent and honest company. Montway was recommended by a friend and I shipped an Acura RDX based on that referral. After I went online and used Montway’s app or website to get a quote, I kept getting texts and emails from five different people and it was confusing. I was hoping the first person I talked to was who I would stay with, but until I signed the deal, I kept getting a ton of messages. I drove an extra five miles to help the driver load the car, which made it easier for him. But the delivery was not what Montway advertises as door-to-door. I understand some streets are probably not conducive to a semi, but I felt that I got forced into flexing his way. He knew the location but he wanted an easy parking spot close to the freeway. So, I arranged pickup at a fire department driveway so I could walk to it.
When the vehicle was delivered, it physically looked the same, but I noticed something underneath the car and planned to take it to a mechanic. I was not sure if something may have happened during transport. Communication was probably the hardest part, but their pricing was competitive. The quote stayed the same at the end of the transport as what I was originally quoted, although I paid a couple of hundred more bucks so I could get the car on a specific day because I was moving. When you're in a position where you don't have a lot of leeway, you have to do what you have to do.

It was absolutely horrible experience. It was a nightmare which I never thought. I thought literally my car would be stolen. The company had no idea the driver they assign to me was totally irresponsible. They kept asking me my personal life matter why I was transporting my car whether I am selling or buying some other car. It was so creepy.

We went from Florida to Colorado and it was the first time I ever used a broker for an auto transport. I saw Montway in a magazine saying that they're one of the two or three reliable brokers to use, and my experience was surprisingly good. The driver was excellent. I found out last week that if someone's an AARP member, they get a 10% discount. They did not tell me about that, but the next time I use them, I'm going to sure mention it.

I set up my move mostly online. I spoke with one person briefly, but most of it was done online. The confirmation to move forward with them was a phone call. It was a very easy transaction. Also, the quote was very reasonable. There was a possibility that I would drive the vehicle myself, because I thought it would be much more than what it was. But when I got the quote, there was no question in my mind that I would ship my vehicle with them because it was very reasonable. My wife was more involved with the pick-up. We had someone that we work with at the condominium handle the delivery. But there were no issues with it.

Done as scheduled , good communication. Rep on the phone explained to me that the other quotes were BS. I checked other quotes. He was correct! They all upped their quote by a lot when I contacted them and then added tax. Montway was exactly what they quoted.

I used Montway about five years ago when I bought a car from Vancouver and they did a good job. This time, they did another good job. I tracked the progress all the way from LA and the car got here in Texas on time. There was no damage and the price was reasonable. Plus, the people were very professional. While Montway did essentially what they contracted to do, their communication was terrible (let me know last minute about delivery time and didn't even respond to one of my inquiries during the shipment process) and the subcontractor delivered my vehicle 1/2 mile away from my home. (The subcontractor said that the streets near my house were too tight to get their trailer through but there have been plenty of moving companies and other auto trailers that have traveled the street right in front of my home. They were just in a hurry and wanted me to make it easier for them.) I paid the higher price that Montway charges vs. smaller carriers because I read decent reviews and expected a high level of professionalism and care. That didn't happen. I would use someone else next time.

There are many factors, both physically and legally, that can prevent drivers from accessing certain areas. These include, but are not limited to, narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps, tight turns, etc.

I bought a car for my wife in Seattle, but I wanted it here in Florida. I needed transport and I used X's AI, and they suggested about three companies. Montway was one of them. I liked the price and the fact that it was a fully covered ride back, which was what I wanted. The driver was a super nice guy from right down the road. The car's condition once it had arrived was good. The quote and the final pricing were all accurate, yeah. It's making me think about doing the transport twice a year and selling the car that we have up in Seattle. Montway is a solid company.

I’ve used my way to transport for vehicles in the past and it’s always been excellent service, this time the driver was excellent, but the dispatcher was very disrespectful to me, I had told the representative the day before that I had a surgical procedure so on the day off to come anytime after 4 PM. On the day of he called and asked, could we drop the car off way out south. I replied no because my husband was taking me for a procedure.
He continue to try to press us to do it and then when we said no over and over again, he then asked could we take and drop the car off to the northside to help them out. I said no because I’ve never had to drop my car off far north or far south. They’ve always come to pick my car up from my own. The dispatcher then said to me “who’s the boss you or your husband”? Which was very insulting! He called me back and said they would pick up vehicle at 8pm which was hours later and I demanded he apologize to me in which he laughed and apologized!

My experience with Montway was generally good. Brian did a great job in booking the transport, and Igor did a great job delivering the vehicle. Pick-up was done in a timely manner after the transport was booked, and transit time from the West Coast to the Chicago area was very reasonable. This was for a collector car and it arrived without a scratch. The only downside was the "Tracker" link, which was not updated from the time the cars was picked up until it was delivered.

Contacted Montway via the internet and scheduled pick-up for my car to be transported to a dealership. The timeline was quick enough, and the price about equal to what it probably would have cost me to rent a proper trailer and tow it up there myself. Driver was courteous, arrived on-time, and took good care of my car to the dealership. Even the dealership was amazed at the low price and asked me for Montway's info, no doubt to help out another customer or perhaps use Montway for his dealership needs.

Waited two weeks from initial order and heard nothing. Called and asked when the pickup was scheduled and got a line of excuses. Received a call a few hours later scheduling pick up that day. The pickup and delivery went well, as expected but I feel if I hadn’t called and threatened to find another vendor nothing would have happened and I’d still be waiting to get my classic moved.

The whole process was easy, I received timely updates as we got near the pickup date, the driver arrived on time. The only issue was to deliver to the contracted address because of the low branches on the trees on the side street. I met the driver at the nearest main street, Not a big deal. Delivered with a broken windshield and absolutely no support in having their assigned company AIF TRUCKING INC in LI who executed the transfer, take responsibility and restore. Very disappointed with the company that I called Montway with a trusted service tells me they can’t do anything about their partner whom they assign. Like the airlines that can get away with whatever they want and we pay.

This was my sixth time arranging transport between NY/CT & FL with Montway and by far the least satisfying, Pickup was supposed to be on a Saturday. I waited all day, until 11 pm. Driver never answered the number supplied by Montway, and his company's office was apparently shut for the weekend. Montway ultimately said driver and had truck problems and pickup would be Sunday, WHY DIDN'T DRIVER CALL ME (and the other people whose cars he was supposed to pick up Sat)? Car finally picked up 6pm Sunday. I wasted an entire weekend waiting for this pick up. In future will be dealing with transport companies directly.

The person who transported the truck was efficient and timely. The first company assigned was not able to fulfill their commitment to pickup the vehicle. After a day or two the second driver was assigned and did what he promised.

I used Montway to ship my car from New York to California. I wouldn't say it went amazing but also wasn't terrible. My car arrived with a few dings and dents as expected so that was not a huge concern. Communication was just ok, had to ask a few times about timing. The only thing I was a little irritated about was when my car arrived, they parked up the street so I did not see them have to jump my car to get it off the truck because it had broken down. So when they parked it in front of my house I was unaware of that until I tried moving it and had to call AAA for help. It would say it was a 5/10 experience overall.
We sincerely apologize for the carrier. Our carrier compliance team has been notified of your comments, and they will address these actions with them directly. There will also be a note added to the carrier/driver profile for future reference.
Please understand this is the exception and not the norm. Montway has over 20,000 carriers in our network, and while these situations do occur, they are rare and are addressed immediately.

The Montway are a prompt and responsive organization but are more expensive than others. They helped me ship a Toyota Corolla from California successfully, but I was given a quote of $1,539 to ship a ford explorer from Florida to Massachusetts 3 weeks ago, but I end up shipping the vehicle for $1,255.

My car was picked up on time and delivered in 5 days. This is what I was promised, and Montway made it happen. The drivers were helpful and easy to work with. The five days during which Montway had my car were difficult for me. My car sent two "collision" signals to my phone during this time. There was very little information about what was going on. At least once, I called the phone number that had been texted to me, and they said something like "Oh, we handed your car off. We don't have it, and we don't know where it is." The contrast between the actual service excellence and the information vacuum left me wondering the whole time.

Signed-up for home pickup & delivery. Driver missed estimated date for pickup without any communication. Finally called and wanted me to drive 45 minutes to meet him for drop off. After I said "no", we met about 5 minutes away in a turn lane on a 4 lane busy street, so much for home pickup. Delivery, pretty much the same, arrived 2 days later than I expected, no communication from the driver and met in another turn lane about 5 minutes from the house it was suppose to be delivered to, although the turn lane was in a very quiet area. Car got to destination safely and without damage, but beyond that, not a great experience.

There are many factors, both physically and legally, that can prevent drivers from accessing certain areas. These include, but are not limited to, narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps, tight turns, etc.

Poor claims handling. You are on your own 100% in the event of a claim. Montway is only a Broker (middleman) so they have no responsibility to you if you have a damage claim, they make you chase the actual carrier to file a claim and they all have at least a $10,000. deductible which means if your damage claim is less than $10,000. you will not get paid by the carriers insurance carriers insurance co.

Pickup was scheduled between 16-20 April. Was assigned driver and pickup scheduled 18 Apr. never showed, then driver said he would pick up Apr 20. No show, no commo from driver, dispatch or Montway. So I had to leave Apr 21. Flew back and picked up car and drove it myself.

I looked up Montway on the internet, which is how I knew about them. They were good but the price was higher than the last time I used them. But that was years ago, so I expected it. The price was better than competitive. The driver picked up the vehicle on time and delivered it early. The only thing was that the car was going to a residential house and he made us drive 15 minutes away because he was meeting somebody else. He dropped both cars off at once instead of driving through the neighborhood and dropping them off at the house. But that's not a big deal. With a big truck like that, it's hard to get in and out. The streets of St. Louis can sometimes be tight.

I was transporting my Subaru instead of driving from South Carolina to New Jersey, which is about a 12-hour drive. I looked at three companies and Montway seemed to be the best in getting back to me, and also based from the reviews that I had seen. The reps were very professional and polite. The delivery was door-to-door and the vehicle arrived when they told me it would, and the drivers were very nice. The condition of the vehicle was exactly like it was when it was picked up. The price was reasonable and the final price was exactly what my quote was. I would have loved to ask for it to be less but the price was what it was. Montway was awesome and everything was perfect. I was very satisfied and I would recommend them.

Montway had the best pricing at the time I needed to transport my 1973 Pontiac Firebird. The communication with the driver was mostly through text but it was good. He was a gentleman when he came here. The condition of the vehicle was as expected when it arrived, though it was missing a part from the car. But I spoke to the company I bought it from and they believe that they may have misplaced it. The cost was the same from start to finish, although the prices have gone up since. I've just recently recommended Montway to my brother.

I looked into five transport companies and decided to use them because their reviews off the internet were good. I had five different quotes and they went from anywhere from $500. Montway's quote was around 1,100, but the research that I did said the cheaper ones were going to have a bunch of hidden costs. Plus, the reviews I found said that the quotes were right on and it was. I also didn't mind paying more if I was getting everything done.
Initially, I was leery of doing the transport but it went great with Montway. Setting up the transport went very well. The vehicle was picked up at our house and we live in the country. I had concerns up until the truck pulled up in front of the house and it was loaded except for one open spot. There were two brand-new Corvettes on the truck and I thought, if they were transporting brand-new Corvettes, they were good. Also, the driver was excellent. We were shipping the vehicle from Ohio to Florida and we were not going to be at the residence in Florida. Nobody was there. I gave the driver some maps and I gave him a location of where he could unload the car. Then, he unloaded and put our car in a trailer in Florida in a trailer park. He took it and parked it under the carport. The driver even sent me a text that everything was delivered and he sent pictures of the car sitting under the carport. I've recommended Montway to two people since I've used them.

When I was looking for a transport company, my friend sent me Montway's website. He told me it's a good company and to try it. I gave it a try, and the first time, it went good. When I needed another transportation, I didn't look for anywhere else. I just went to Montway. The three times I used them to transport cars from California to Florida, from Florida to California, and another from California to Florida went pretty good. The first time I used them, the truck was broken on the way so instead of it taking five to seven days, it took 10 days or more. But the second and third time, there were no issues. Whatever dates they told me approximately that the car was gonna be arriving, the car arrived that day.
I'm happy with the customer service. I was able to do it all online as well. There was a phone number too and when I called, a person stayed with me and did it over the phone. When you wanna check the status, you can see that online, which was always helpful. Anytime I called, they were able to give me answers. I'm satisfied. I would recommend Montway because I was happy. They did a pretty good job and the price was pretty good as well.

I have two homes, one in Illinois and one in Florida. I had a car up in Illinois and I wanted to bring it back here. It's a classic car, so I didn't want to drive it for 1,200 miles. Montway was recommended to me, so I used them. I had a unpleasurable experience with a former auto company, so I didn't use them. But this Montway was great. The driver was a nice gentleman. When he picked up car up, it was raining, so in order for me to hand over my keys to him, I had to walk through a deluge of water. He was nice enough to drive through the water to come to me and he went out of his way so I didn't have to get my shoes all wet. So he was great. He dropped the vehicle off, I gave him 50 bucks tip, and he was appreciative. He said a lot of people don't do that, but he thanked me for doing that.
The cost of the service was very fair and I had no problems paying for that, especially considering they delivered it in perfect condition. So it was a good trade-off. I would recommend Montway to my friends and family members. When they dispatched the vehicle, they were responsive. The guy texted me almost every day. He let me know where he was at and when he might be there. All in all, Montway was reliable and if anyone is considering using them, I'd tell them to go for it.

First time using an auto transport company and there is A LOT to learn. Transporting from NM to SC. These people are a broker, not the transporter and there are thousands of them. They search for someone to transport your vehicle. Took a few days to find a transporter. The transporter was not on time to pick up the vehicle, and it ended up being very late in the evening when it as picked up, after 11pm, never receive a bill of lading, but was told several times that I would. I should have received my vehicle within 3 days, took a week and I called multiple time and emailed multiple times to Montway and to the transport company.
Ended up the transporter had a break down for about 3 days. Had I been told that to begin with I would not have been so anxious. I did like the price guarantee, as others will lowball you and then give you a price double or triple what they told you. I did also like that Montway and the transport company were very responsive to my inquires. Final thoughts. It is a gamble, you may get your vehicle on time, and you might not, hopefully you get it eventually. Would I use Montway again, probably.

I was moving a car from Florida to Minnesota, and I looked online at which companies had the best reviews. There were four and I went with Montway. Setting up went smoothly and everything went as planned during the transport. We set this up about two weeks ahead of time. Montway could have done it sooner, but I didn't want the car taken out of there too soon. For the drop-off, the driver found a large street that was about half a mile from here, so I was able to walk there and get the car. I just met him for a second, and he seemed nice. Montway is a trustworthy company, but other places cost almost half as much.

A friend of mine's daughter used used Montway's service when she moved from college from New York to California. I also used them recently and they were very professional. We had a seamless transition. They called and they had a very good communication style. The only barrier was the driver did not speak very good English. However, he was still understandable and very prompt. The service went very well.
I had two vehicles to transport and they were my children's vehicles. They were at college and lived in an apartment. Montway's driver called us the day before the pickup, which was on a Tuesday evening, and we set up a time to meet the next day on a Wednesday. So, I met Montway's drivers at a common location, which had a large parking lot down the street about a mile away, and they loaded the cars. We easily made the payment and within two days, they arrived at our home in Las Vegas on a Friday. We already had everything taken care of, so they dropped them where we said and it was very good. There were no problems and no damages to the vehicles. It was a great experience and the price was very good.

I spoke to a few transport companies, and the person that I spoke to at Montway was very responsive. He was not a hard selling kind of guy. He gave me the facts and I appreciated all of that. They had a great price as well. The transport was supposed to be three days but two days before the pick-up, I got an email of Paul, the original driver, saying that he was having mechanical issues with his truck. We had to reschedule it to the following week. The second driver was amazing. He was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions and we had great conversation. I could not be more pleased in the way he handled everything. He did an excellent job. When I texted him, he immediately responded, which was not the case with the original driver. We sent the vehicle to my daughter and she was very pleased with the vehicle's condition when it arrived. It was excellent.

I needed to move two vehicles to our second home and I didn't want to put the mileage on them. I got Montway's name from Consumer Reports and I hired them to transport my vehicles. They did a fantastic job. It was very easy to set up the transport. I told them when I'd like to have the vehicles moved and they called me back as soon as they had a transport ready. The vehicles were moved within the time frame I needed, which was within a week. They said I could have up to 100 pounds per car and I had some stuff in the trunk of one of my cars just because they were already there. But I really didn't utilize that option since I didn't need to.
For the pickup, it would have been hard because it was an eight-car carrier. But their driver pulled in on a straightaway and loaded the two cars. There were already four other cars on there and we were the last two. The driver was able to just pull up, do a three-point turn, and took the truck back out of the trailer. Also, I found their price cheaper than some of the other places which were giving me a quote, but there were add-ons. And Montway didn't do that. They just gave me one flat quote. It was a little bit more, but it was still cheaper once you took into account that there were no additional fees. And the other ones had additional fees that they would tell you about after the fact.
When the vehicles were delivered, they were in perfect condition. One of them was a collector's item and I didn't have any problems at all. The driver was very good about how he drove the cars to load them, how he stabilized them, and how he secured them to the trailer. I was very happy and very relaxed with the whole process. I even told them I'd use them again at any moment I need transport services. I would also recommend them to others.

I found Montway through Google and I liked their reputation, reviews and availability. Their pricing wasn’t the best but it was competitive and Montway was the most trustworthy partner for us. I like to do a lot of things online and I didn't have to talk to anybody. Montway was automated and I was able to get everything quoted and set up. The only time there were live phone calls was when they were necessary from the driver, either for pickup or drop-off. So, the whole process was just easy. We are a repeat client and I'm getting ready to ship with them again in a month.

Montway Auto Transport was quick. They got back to us with a quote. Everything was smooth and easy. The car was delivered to my home a week later. It was around the time they said it would be delivered. The car was in the same condition it was when I had seen it the prior week. It was the first time I've ever needed to use a car transport, and I was really surprised how simple the process was. It wasn't that big of a deal, when I thought it would be a huge thing, trying to get a car across the country.

I've used Montway three times in the last month and a half. I had no problem out of all of them. I set things up with a representative. Customer service has been wonderful. I did it with the same guy. I have his personal phone number, so I just call him. He set everything up. I've moved the same vehicle. What happened was I bought the vehicle. Then, when I got it, it wasn't what they said it was. So then, they paid for it to get shipped back and then they shipped it back to me again. I asked Montway for an enclosed trailer, and that was what I got. It was a 2019 Rolls-Royce. So, they already knew I needed an enclosed trailer. The pickup and delivery just took one day, but I wasn't in a hurry for it. They stayed in touch with me. The price was wonderful. For an enclosed trailer that would hold a vehicle for 1,350 coming 13 hours away, I can't be mad about it.

Montway was recommended to me when I needed a Toyota transported 2400 miles. They filled the order and did what I needed. The car was in the same condition when it arrived as when it left. I had another company a few years ago that delivered it in California and had me pick up the car in the middle of a lot of fast traffic. It was a six-lane street and they just pulled over on the side and I didn't like that. Montway had someone come right off the street that I'm on and unload the car right at my address. So, that was nice. The prices were very good. You get a $100 discount from AARP, so that helps. The cost is more coming back than it was going out, but I understand that prices can fluctuate a little bit. My experience with Montway was very good, too. I love them and I'm very happy with them.

If others are planning on doing an enclosed transportation with Montway, go ahead and do it. But if they’re doing an open transport, at least regarding the company that did my open transport, they should absolutely not, because it's not very welcoming.
Our first transport, which was enclosed, was perfect. The enclosed one was a Mercedes-Benz. The experience was good. The driver was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better. He dropped it off two days early, and it was good. Communication was good. He did everything he was supposed to. Take pictures, update me whenever I asked for an update, or just in general. He followed the drop-off instructions.
The second transport was not great. The driver was weird. He was sketchy. Although I do have to give him his props. He came out of his way to pick up our car because we were leaving the next day. He altered his route to come pick up our car, which I appreciate. But I don't appreciate that they don’t stand by the price.
When I got there, he said there was some stuff in the back seat, and he wanted to charge us. But, they told us that we can do up to 100 pounds, which was my understanding. He wanted to charge an extra 150 for all the stuff in the back. It wasn't a lot because I had already transported my car. My car had my things. It was just very basic things, a little bit of clothes, a little bit of shoes. And he was claiming it was more than 100 pounds, which was not the case. I know it's not the case because the same things that were going back are the same things we came with. So it was the same stuff. The other driver didn't have a problem with it. But then this person did.
I told him, "I'm not paying that." So he dropped it down to 100. So we had to pay an extra $100. He was being very sketchy. He kept being very dishonest with his location. He was telling me that he was five hours away and he wanted me to drop off the car at the house without us being present. Then I said, "No, I'm not going to do that. I want to be there and make sure everything is good, make sure the car's not damaged."
I said, "I'm not gonna just have you drop off the car anywhere." Because I had to pay cash as well. He wanted me to leave the cash in the car unlocked. I said, "I'm not doing that." All of a sudden, he was okay. He was 40 minutes away. So he was almost holding our car hostage is what it felt like from a customer point of view. Like he was doing us a favor. But he was not doing us a favor. We were paying for a service. I know they’re a third party. But he's working for them and he has to abide by their rules. But I feel like it should be organized a little better in terms of communication and the last price.
Please understand this is the exception and not the norm. Montway has over 20,000 carriers in our network, and while these situations do occur, they are rare and are addressed immediately.

I was moving and Montway had been recommended to me several years earlier. Everything was easy with my transport organizer. I was a little wishy-washy with dates, but everyone was clear and communicative for my car. The transport only took five days. It was perfect. My husband's took two weeks. So, that was a different story. He was guaranteed pickup, but they didn't tell us that they didn't have a local carrier. So, they had to wait. The communication was not good. I was not happy with that. As far as the driver that I had, he was nice and communicative. They were able to pick my car up where we requested it. At the drop-off, we ended up moving it to a different location, but it was more convenient for me and more convenient for the truck.

Worst experience I could have imagined. I rarely take the time to write negative reviews. I have better things to focus on. But this situation warrants it. I chose Montway specifically because I was promised delivery two days faster than a competitor. I paid an additional $300 for that, another roughly $100 for expedited handling, and an extra $70 for supplemental insurance. In total, I paid a premium for speed, reliability, and protection. I received none of the above. The vehicle arrived late, outside even the guaranteed delivery window I paid extra to secure, and with damage. The contracted carrier, MTB, was completely unresponsive. The driver ignored all calls and texts for five days. Montway themselves could not reach him. The first update came at 6 PM on the final possible delivery day, when I was told the truck had broken down and delivery would not happen.
Over the next 24 hours, I canceled appointments and even moved a business flight to California trying to accommodate delivery. I repeatedly asked for basic updates and got nothing. When communication finally resumed, I was given multiple false delivery times. First 11:00 AM, then before 2:00 PM, then 3:35 PM. Each one was missed. I was then told to meet at a separate address because the truck was too large. I had already anticipated this and provided an alternate location, a large shopping center five minutes from my home. That information was ignored.
After taking an Uber to the provided location and waiting, I was told the driver was almost there. When I questioned it, they said the correct location was actually my neighborhood and that the previous address was a typo. I had to pay for another Uber back. The vehicle was ultimately delivered on a six lane divided highway at a stoplight during rush hour, creating a traffic hazard. The driver said nothing. No apology, no explanation. Once I moved the vehicle to inspect it, I discovered a cracked windshield. I immediately reported the damage. The initial response was apologetic. The follow up email was essentially that it was not covered. Despite paying extra for insurance, because it was an open carrier, this type of damage is excluded.
So to summarize, I paid more for faster delivery and it arrived late. I paid for expedited service and it was ignored. I paid for additional insurance and the damage was not covered. Communication was nonexistent. Delivery was unsafe and unprofessional. I have disputed the full charge with American Express and will continue documenting this experience anywhere possible. This was a complete failure at every level. If negative stars were an option, that would be appropriate.

I called Montway to get a quote. They said they were gonna get back with me and gave me a quote. I was shopping around and then when I looked back again, I got a notification saying Montway swiped my card and booked me for things. I got the call saying, "Well, we'll try to get guys to come by and pick up your car, let's say Tuesday." I asked the rep, "Pick up a car to go where?" Then he said, "Oh, you called to get a quote for a car to be picked up in New Mexico." I told him that I haven't even finished negotiating the price for the seller. So, how are they sending a car to someone that I had not even finished negotiating the sale price for the car?
When I spoke to somebody in the Montway office to try to figure it out, I was told that they were gonna get back with me. I was okay with that and then the rep said, “The best I could do is reimburse your money for what we charge.” But that doesn't solve my problem. They pulled the money out from my account and blowing someone else, and that overdrawn my account. I got to come out of my pocket for that, too. I still need this car to be picked up from somebody. I still had to do that there. So I did that, and ended up not using Montway. I haven't heard anything from Montway since. The Montway customer service rep that I dealt with was trash. It wasn't a great experience. I wouldn't recommend anybody dealing with Montway.

I looked at five different companies and Montway had the best reviews and customer service when I called. The reps were very clear and explained everything to me thoroughly. They seemed very knowledgeable. I felt very confident with them for my timeline and the price was guaranteed. The quote went up from the first time I had called them. I called them early out, like late winter, before I was going to move. But I do understand gas prices and things had gone up since that time. So that didn't surprise me at all.
The driver who picked up my vehicle was very professional, friendly, and business-like. I felt very confident turning my vehicle over to him. He called and said how far he was away from the delivery, and then called so that we had somebody to get there to pick it up and it was on time. The delivery was great. It got here sooner. It was an open transport, so I expected the vehicle to have some road grime on it, considering the distance. But there was no damage to my vehicle. If I ever need transport again, I will definitely call Montway. I've already been spreading the good word. I have some relatives who go to Florida for snowbirds and I told them, "If you don't want to drive or have someone to drive you, call Montway." Montway told me that they have specials if we want to transport to the warmer climates from the colder ones.

Setting up everything was fairly easy. I wasn't being swindled like some of the companies that offer these really low prices, only to find out at the end that they hold your car hostage. Montway kept talking about the cost is the cost, the pricing is upfront, and the reviews convinced me that I was going to get what I was paying for rather than always wondering and worrying. The quote did not change. It was a little higher than I expected that I got from others.
They were pretty good at picking up the car. I was nervous. But before I knew it, they were on the road heading down I-5 towards Arizona. I tracked them the whole way because I put a little Apple AirTag in the sleeve at the back of the seat. I could see where this guy was sleeping every time with all the other trucks. It's pretty cool to watch that. He was supposed to come to the address, but we get that it was a cul-de-sac and I wasn't there. I had my son take care of it and they met at a place where the exchange could be quicker. It was easier for the driver and the whole party.
The only thing that concerned me was that sometimes I was talking to Montway and sometimes I was talking to some other company and I didn't know how they were related, whether they were the same company. Montway is the one that finds the truck. They don't necessarily have trucks that say Montway on them because the people that were actually moving it weren't actually Montway.

We shipped two vehicles from California to New York. It was a long one. The driver did it so fast. He picked up on a Monday and they were there by Thursday. It was amazing. The rep who set up the transport was great. It was a little hard at first because we did not realize that we would have to find a place for the cars that would be big enough. We didn't realize we'd have to meet somewhere public. So that was a little complicated, being that we were dropping off our only two vehicles. But once we decided on a place that was close, it was fine. The price was pretty good. They gave me a lot of discounts. So I was really pleased with that.

Everything was great until the actual delivery time. The company that Montway contracted called me the day before delivery to say that I would be the last delivery of the next day at approximately 6pm. Next day I get at call at 10am from the driver asking how long it would take for me to meet him. I was still working until 11am and told him it would be 90 mins. When I showed up I was going to leave my car at the company I met him at and take the new one. Problem was when I asked if I could leave my car and p/u later they said absolutely not. They didn’t know why this company continued to meet people there as they didn’t have permission to do so. So I had to drive a mile away to the closest public parking and walk back on a road with no sidewalks and snowbanks.😳 Montway themselves were great, but I had to take a star off for the company they used.

I had to have a 2020 Honda sedan shipped and choosing a company was a tough decision. I've shipped a couple of cars, and it's not a pleasant experience dealing with auto transporters. I went with Montway based on word of mouth and people references that I happen to know, probably about the only reference I trust. Montway's customer service was excellent and their price was average. It wasn't too high or too low, and it stayed the same. No questions asked.
The transport from beginning to end was done by a third party, and it was excellent as well. The interaction was slow, but transporters are the same. Once they got their money, once I scheduled, it was in the trucker’s hands then. Besides that, they were excellent with the timeframe. The sedan arrived about as dirty as it was when it left here.

Montway. I recently attempted to ship 3 vehicles with Montway as a return customer. Unfortunately, they were absolutely terrible to deal with on this go-around. They first assigned a carrier that was inexperienced and had equipment that was in poor condition, so he couldn’t load our vehicles. The second carrier was not informed by Montway that our vehicles had modifications, so they couldn’t ship our vehicles. I sent pictures and throughly explain the modifications to Montway. They now refuse to return my full deposit even after promising that they would. They have cost me over $2k in travel costs and other expenses just trying to ship my cars. Be careful with them.

Montway was easy to contact and provided the most straightforward and honest quotes and time frames amongst other shipping providers. I will recommend just going to Montway from the start rather than uShip. The prices are already competitive, so there's no worries there. The issue was that I paid U-Ship and got zero benefit from them. They took payment, then never updated the shipment progress. This caused me to not be able to issue a payment code to the driver. Thankfully he was very understanding and we were able to work it out (no thanks to U-ship). It was 2 a.m. on a Saturday by the time he made it to my side of the country. Montway was able to be contacted, and aided me to the best of their abilities...But U-Ship? Nobody works there at night, which is unheard of for a nationwide logistics provider. Just pay Montway directly and save yourself from this headache. They will offer constant updates and reasonable accommodations.

Overall they picked up and delivered. Communications with them was lackluster at best. When I called the main Montway number to ask questions and see about pickup times, etc... the woman that answered the phone was rude and acted like I was a waste of her time. If it wasn't for the fact I needed the car to be picked up and delivered, because I need my niece's car delivered to her, I would have canceled and went with a different vendor. Evidently, these people think once they have your money, customer service and courtesy is optional. Absolutely rude phone people!

Firstly they were able to accommodate me basically at the last minute. This after another less reputable company took my deposit and left town. Montway basically saved the day! So far everything is great. We had to put a hold on the car to be picked up for a warranty problem with the car. Montway put it on hold. No problems. Just received the car back from Lexus and called and took the car off hold and now waiting to get a delivery driver assigned. So the hiccup on my side. They handled it very professionally. This will be my second time using them to transport a car so hopefully everything will go smoothly as the first vehicle did.

The Montway reps were very helpful and communicative, however the sales pitch did not match the execution. Despite ordering a portal to portal transport, I had to drive my vehicle to another location (about 35 minutes away) to meet the company that was actually doing the transport so the truck could be weighed. I was also told that the truck would go on in one location, and wouldn't be driven off the trailer until it arrived at my destination. Didn't happen. Transport made it cross-country, but then the "middle man" held it for a week before they found the time to get it to me, with a single driver and a single trailer.

Communication could be better, didn't know where my vehicle was at after it was finally picked up and then it sat at trucking company for a week, and then on the way to me didn't really know where it was at. Deliver was kinda slow. Took two weeks, but my vehicle made it safe and without any damage and Montway price was about the lowest I found...

Pick-up and drop-off of my vehicle was quick and easy! My car arrived much faster than I anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. The driver was professional and went above and beyond by driving my car to my house and walking back to his truck that wasn't allowed on our residential street.

Scheduled pickup as a snow storm hit, had to delay my flight, discovered that for additional fee ($80 I think) could have had a guaranteed pickup, which I eventually chose. This option should have been disclosed earlier - but the actual move went OK.

They scammed me, but they used to be great. I paid extra for a specific day pick up and the driver called saying he couldn't make it. I called Montway and they refused to get involved saying it was up to the driver. My son had to stay another day. Then I called for a refund of the money I paid for a specific day and never received it.

The initial quote was way too high. It was $1,200 for open transport from Missouri to Texas. By the time I came back around to Montway, it was like $750. Initially, somebody told me, “Oh yeah. We might be able to get you another discount.”. But they let me use a discount for my father being in the military. So, it took off a few dollars. They worked with me.

I needed to ship a car to Denver, Colorado. Montway's quick response, good communication and competitive price made me use them. Their customer service representatives were very good. Communications were excellent. The quote was a little on the high side versus other companies, but it was not terribly out of line. Then the final cost of service was very accurate.
From the day that they picked up the vehicle, the transport took about six days. That met my expectations. The driver was very good. He contacted me when he was near here, and I met him. The vehicle was ready, and he was ready to take pictures of the vehicle, made sure that he documented any scratches or dings that the vehicle may have had, and loaded it up and it was ready to go. Overall, I was impressed with the very timely response and very timely performance of shipping the vehicle.

Montway was awesome and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I ordered a transporter before them, and they scammed me. They took a big bunch of money in my bank account and never showed up. We had to leave and that's why we called Montway. They showed up when I needed them. Thank God, because I was freaking out.
We had them ship a Jeep Grand Cherokee 1,500 miles and I had to get a premium order from them. I had to get it out of there the next day, because the other company never showed up and I was already supposed to leave. It caused some serious crap on our end, but Montway saved my butt hard. The vehicle arrived just like it left and with the same mileage. It never even got pulled out of that trailer until it got here. The driver, Jamar, was amazing. That dude needs promotions or whatever the company can do for him.

Montway, without my authorization, proceeded with assigning an order to transport a car that wasn't yet purchased. I tried all possible ways to stop the transaction but they were very unresponsive. Then they refused to refund. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from that outfit.

When I was talking to the dealership, I got a recommendation for Montway. I shipped a 2020 F-350 from New York to Illinois and everything was handled just fine. The driver called and I told him to give me a half hour notice before the drop off. Because of the length of the trailer, it couldn't fit into my house. So, he dropped off the vehicle at one of my other properties. Everything was excellent and I would recommend Montway.

Montway was the first company I called, and because they were so good, I used them three times for long-distance transport, from Michigan to California and back. The reps had me fill out the paperwork right off the bat once I signed up. They tell you right up front how much it’s going to cost, and you tell them when you need it picked up, and they work with you. Their reps are friendly and great communicators, which is very rare in today’s business world. If I call to get an ETA, they are very responsive, and the customer service was great. This time, I had to go away for a while, and it was a pleasure using Montway. The transport took four days, and when the vehicle arrived, it was fully intact. The drivers are great and deliver when they say they would. Montway is wonderful, and I recommend them to anyone looking for long-distance transport.

I had to ship a vehicle from Virginia to Connecticut. I used Montway in the past, so I called them again. The transport had taken 24 hours. It was quick, and it was an easy transaction. I was only available for the drop-off. It went very smoothly. It was during a snowstorm, and they came and they dropped it off. It an easy unload, and they were on their way. The driver was great. My vehicle's condition was exactly as expected. Also, the quote to the final price was 100% accurate. Overall, Montway is fast, reliable and easy to deal with.

I purchased a vehicle out of state. Montway came up high on a Google search. I usually do tons of research. But in this case, their high ranking suggested to me that they were reputable, and I wasn't too price-sensitive. So, I looked at their price posted, and I’d shipped many cars before, so I knew it was a decent price. I went with them, and it was good experience.
The pick-up point was in Baltimore, Maryland, 21210. The drop-off point was in Hoover, Alabama, 35226. I was there at drop-off. I had experience doing this. So, I know to meet them at the shopping center at the bottom of the hill for me. The driver usually calls ahead of time. The guy that showed up with the actual vehicle was good. He was leaving me and heading all the way to New Orleans. So, these guys work a lot. He dropped it off in the rain, so we had to get out in the rain and unhook it, but it was very quick and easy. The whole thing was good. I would recommend Montway and use them again.

I was moving from Kodiak, Alaska to Branson, Missouri, and Montway was quick to respond to my calls, plus their prices were reasonable. I shipped a 2004 Ford Thunderbird and it went on a barge from Kodiak, and then Montway picked it up in Seattle. So, it took about six weeks. The driver delivered the car within one block of my house because semis are not allowed down to my house. So, he got as close as he could and phoned me. I went down there and got in my car. It was perfect. I was a little nervous when I saw him unloading my car from the second story of the big truck he brought. But he was just so nice, friendly and a super guy. He delivered my car with no hitches. You can trust Montway. The reps were very friendly and courteous, and the final cost was absolutely right on what they quoted me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Quoted 4-6 days Transport and its taking 2 weeks for delivery. I paid for the guaranteed pickup expecting delivery to commence and the 4 day delivery clock to start, only to have them stop in another state for multiple days. Enclosed service for them to offload and load with another service. Multiple emails about my vehicle being dispatched and set for a delivery date for it to only last a day until a new email comes through with a new "extended date" also not guaranteed. A joke of a company. Called for customer care only to be transferred from department to department. I have had many cars delivered using a variety of companies and this by far has been the absolute worst of all. Just hope my car makes it in one piece at this point.

We relocated because of our job and we didn't want to drive the vehicle for 150 miles. We looked into three transport companies and decided on Montway Auto Transport because they were able to do it at the time that we needed them to. Their customer service was great. We were assisted by a guy named Alex and he was super helpful. The guys with the truck and the trailer were also really helpful and respectful of the vehicle. I had a friend of mine help during the pickup and at the time, they couldn't get their truck into where the car was, but they all worked it out and got the vehicle on. When they dropped it off, they were really great how they handled it. The quote they gave us was competitive and it was the same as what we paid in the end. The transport took just one day and it could not have been any better. If I ever need the car transported again, I would definitely use Montway.

There was some confusion getting a company to do the transport. I received a call that the car was getting picked up that day by a closed truck transport and needed my approval. I gave my approval, but the car was never picked up. It was another 3 days before it was finally picked up. Communication on this one was a little poor.

We went to Florida for a few months, and we needed to transport our car. We shipped our Kia Soul through Montway. We heard good things about them from different people. So, we tried them. We spoke to different reps because I'm old, and I called them to check and to recheck. It was always a very pleasant experience, no matter who I talked to. The quote given was fine. It was comparable to anyone else. The delivery of the vehicle was on time, and everything was great. The driver was great as well. I would recommend them.

I used Montway when I purchased a vehicle in Connecticut, and they moved it to St Louis, Missouri. After the initial consultation, Montway emailed me and I have more information on them on who was gonna moving my product, so it was cool. The other companies that I contacted didn't email me. The quote that they gave mewas within reason. It was $50 more than it was. It wasn't real bad. The delivery came when they said it would come. They could have made it a little quicker, but they don't do anything on the weekend, so I had to wait until it came on a Monday.
My biggest gripe with Montway was the fact that there were three cars on the trailer. My car was the last one to be picked up, so I figured it'd be the first one to be dropped off. I think that maybe they could open themselves up for a little bit more of a claims issue if maybe they didn't pick the cars up and or if they picked them up in order. They moved my car over and over again, which I did not see it moving. I looked at it. There were no scratches on it that I didn't already have on there, so they must have done a good job. But if my car was gonna be the last one, it should be the first one on. Other than that, I'd recommend them.

I used Montway to transport a Porsche Panamera and they were good. They were very transparent as well. I'd used another company, but they gave me the runaround on the price. I got my deposit back from them. On the other hand, Montway had a good guarantee and they seemed professional. I talked with the sales guy then they transferred me to their department that does the booking. I wanted an enclosed trailer, but there wasn't a whole lot of activity from Wisconsin to California so it took a while a little bit, but Montway was able to find somebody. Initially, I was gonna get it for 1,200 bucks for the enclosed trailer. But there was nobody that was willing to do an enclosed trailer on my route. I ended up having to pay close to two grand for it and I wish it was less expensive.
It was a big transport, so they had to deliver the car on a side street. They couldn't pull it up my block ‘cause of the size of the transport. They brought the car down and I drove it off. I didn't pay the guy until I got my car, which was good. I got the car in November, so the weather was starting to change. It's good I got it when I got it ‘cause it snowed the week after I got it in Wisconsin. That would have delayed everything. I would highly recommend Montway and if I ever have to transport another car, I would definitely use them again.

I was very displeased with the delivery of my vehicles. I have a home down on Longboat Key, and I had one of my friends accept the delivery of the vehicles, and he took pictures of it, and just couldn't believe how bad the vehicle was brought down here. I shipped a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Cadillac Escalade. I wish I stayed with the other company that I used before because it would have been the same price and I wouldn't have had to do all the cleaning myself. Montway hasn't spoken to me at all about it.
The prices were good. They delivered one of my other cars down here a few times, and they did a great job. But this time, the driver went through a storm bringing it down, and you would think they would at least clean the vehicle before delivering it, but I didn't get that, unfortunately. From all underneath to all over the vehicles were covered in a full quarter inch thick depths of mud. I would not use Montway again. There was no customer service.

My experience with Montway was pretty smooth. The pricing could have been a little cheaper, but I needed it ASAP. So, I was willing to pay the $1,300 that I did. The transport was from the state of Virginia to Washington state. The pick-up went pretty smoothly despite having to move the car on the side of a busier street, instead of into the neighborhood where there was enough space for the truck to go through. But other than that, the drop-off was smooth as well. It was in an open parking lot, so it was straightforward.

I've used Montway twice. It’s always been a simple process. It's always been pretty straightforward. They pick the car up and they allow me to track the car. I also put my own tracking devices in it. They usually deliver a little early. I shipped a regular Hyundai sedan, and then a BMW X1. It was from Seattle, Washington to Atlanta, Georgia, and then from Atlanta, Georgia, then back to Seattle, Washington. Customer service was pretty straightforward. Both people were kind. The second time I booked with them, they were referred again by another company. So, when I booked recently in December, I was calling one company for household shipping things, and I was honestly trying to find a company that shipped household goods and cars just to have everything all in one place.
The first time that I used Montway, I was located in Atlanta's downtown area. It was pretty stiff and busy. I was shocked that the truck that delivered got down there like they did. But it was quick. The driver definitely wasn't gonna be able to make it on to the street I was on. So, I just had to walk two streets up. Then he let it off the thing and he gave me my key, and that was the end of it. The second time that I used Montway, the driver seemed a little more personable than the first driver that I dealt with. But both times that I used them, I had very similar and great experiences. They got my car to and from and unscathed, and there was no weird business. It was just straight to the point, which I appreciate. If I had to move again far away, I'd use Montway again and see if my luck runs me a third time.
