**Update: after speaking with "Henry **" a vice president of sales, he profusely apologized for the unprofessional manner in which I was treated. He informed me that disciplinary action would be taken by the company on this employee and he was more than 90% sure this individual would be terminated. I agreed to remove the review only if they fired this person. I was surprised that a person with his title and function had no direct involvement in disciplinary action. He gave an explanation of thier process and alluded that it was most likely a sure thing.

After reading all of the negative reviews and knowing that I have no way of knowing if they actually fired this person, I decided to leave the initial review with this update and change the rating to a neutral one. It appears that there is a script that is being used to play on the emotions of persons who care about others' ability to make money based on the actions of some bad apples. It's a manipulation tactic that has probably saved them from many more bad reviews.

The communication with Derrick was informative and delivered in a manner that even I could understand. All the questions that I could think of at the time were answered in an understandably format. Derrick presented the pros and cons of the policy and acceptance my 4000$ without blinking an eye. I would recommend this company based on what I have been told but the proof will be dependent on my first claim.

I filled out the online form only to get information i.e. prices coverage, etc.. The gentleman that called me back was excessively chatty. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. When I told him that I was doing comparisons he gave me the prices and rattled off the coverage. I asked him to send it to me so that I could go over the information, he ignored my request and repeating the coverage, repeating the price and saying that he could give me this great deal and what would it take for me to sign up? I tried to tell him nicely that I only wanted the information at this time and if the rates were comparable, I would definitely return his call. He continued speaking over me louder and louder.

Tom ** was very professional with his presentation of the information. He was helpful in getting me the most for my money. I will recommend him to my friends and family if they are interested in extended warranty for their cars. With today's high cost of vehicle repairs, extended warranty is a smart move.

I was to be contacted by my new Kyle who took his time & with exceptional knowledge & patience went over all the required needed information which finally sold me. I worked with Samuel today to purchase an extended warranty plan for my 2022 Dodge Charger. He was wonderful to work with and we discussed payments and the down payment. He also gave me a deduction on the downpayment. Was a pleasure working with him. American Dream has great rates, and they are very easy to work with. I will tell all my friends about American Dream and the great customer service they have.

John worked with me with every need I had. He helped me manage a plan that was perfect for me and my fiance. Haven't gotten to use to the policy yet, hopefully won't have to, but either way John gave me peace of mind in case I do. A+++ would suggest to use.

American Dream was the first to respond to me and what they told me didn't sound bad. A couple of days later, I was concerned. They initially had me on a three-year contract, where I paid annually, and I wasn't comfortable with that, especially after reading the Better Business report. When I was trying to cancel back out in the 30 days, they made me a better deal to where it was gonna be on a monthly payment and if it ends up that they're charlatans, then I'll only be out that month. So they made me a better deal that made it less nervous for me. They told me that they were gonna send me a list of places in my area that work with them, but they never did. I've asked three different times for that list and never got it.

American Dream's rep called me and said he wanted to show me their extended warranty. I told him that I already bought one and when I told him which company I used, he said some things that I was not aware of. So, I told him that I would call and talk to that company and the BMW dealer. And if they didn't accept that company, then I would ask if they accepted American Dream. If they did, then I'd order from him. So, I did. He was pretty pushy, which I'm not a big fan of. But he was persistent and he did well. The cost was too high, but I understand the warranty can pay for itself in one issue. At the same time, you're limited on how much you can do per issue, so that's my only concern. But we'll find that out when that happens.

American Dream's rep was very helpful. The rest of the companies got brokers and I've been lied to so much. But I felt comfortable with that guy. I signed up for my 2020 GMC Canyon and he broke down the process for me. He kindly filled me in a lot of the spots I didn't understand about the warranty while every other company tried to sell me one.

The guy who sold me my warranty was wonderful. He really knew what he was doing and he seemed more like a person and wasn't pushy at all. The coverage was really good, too.

I put an inquiry in online and then received a call back from them. The first person I spoke with was quite professional and friendly. I looked at a few other options and a supervisor called me a little bit later. We had a conversation and worked out what seemed to be an acceptable rate at the time so I signed up with them. But my wife and I discussed a little bit further and decided not to have any extended warranty for service protection plan. I cancelled on the 2nd of October. I called and they tried to dissuade me. It took a little bit of persuasion, but they sent the documentation and I submitted it. I am still waiting for the charge to be reversed, though.

The sales guy I first talked to, Alex, was good and he was a really nice guy. He talked me into it but I was not doing my research then. I had to call them back but I talked to his partner because he was not there. One thing that I don't like is the little contract thing that they sent me. I can't read it. It's so small. Also, the mileage is only up to 200,000 miles but it's fine. Other than those, I've already told a couple of people about it.

It was an easy process of getting signed up. They were very helpful and they explained everything carefully. Also, the price is better than most companies.

I had a good experience with the rep. He explained everything very well. The price is comparable. It was the same kind of coverage that other providers offered but it had more miles. They covered more too.

I liked the way that the representative of American Dream explained the company. There were no pushy tactics. It didn't seem like he was selling me. All my questions were answered. The rep was very thorough and polite. Also, I like the idea that if I felt I wanted to change the policy from my Prius, I could transfer it with no issues over to my other vehicle. But it was a little pricey.

I've been with American Dream for over a month. I spoke to a man named Kyle and I'm still waiting for some paperwork. He sent me an email asking how I liked the experience but never said anything about sending any paperwork. He’s been perfectly pleasant. But I'm not getting everything that I asked for. I got a policy number, and that's all I got.

I wanted the five-year, 100,000 miles, once it does the 120,000-mile Volkswagen inspection. They offered me a discount and they sent me a booklet on what is covered. Everything's great with them. However, they need to include the taxes with whatever rate.

Derrick, our customer service rep, was very helpful. He was honest and informative and overall just a friendly person to talk to. Tried really hard to make sure we were happy with the coverage offered to us, and he even tried to get the initial price reduced somewhat to better fit our budget. So far, we are happy with the choice of warranty company we chose.

The sign up process was nice. The guy that I talked to seemed friendly enough and wasn't too pushy. The price fit into what I was looking for. It was decent. The terms looked pretty standard for a warranty. He talked a little bit about the co-pay, but it was a little bit higher than I thought it was when I got it. American Dream has a website, but it isn't informative. It kind of makes you wonder what you have once you bought it. I have the paperwork but there wasn't a lot of reassuring because it was just a lot of their literature, and they could have said whatever they wanted to on their website. The guy I talked to did say if I have any questions, I could call him back. It made me somewhat comfortable, but somewhat leery too.

I bought the platinum package. It covers pretty much bumper to bumper. The only drawback I had about it is American Dream doesn't have monthly payment plans. You pretty much pay for everything in advance. But as long as they are able to cover my vehicle, I'll be very happy with them. I brought my truck into Toyota dealership. I had some extensive work done to the engine the past couple of months before I got the warranty, and I went up for a sticker. They noticed that a power steering line was leaking. It's not leaking bad, but it needs to be replaced. So, instead of leaving my truck there, I drove the truck home. I called American Dream and they told me that Toyota had to call them to start the claim. So, Toyota called them yesterday, but I haven't heard anything from American Dream yet. I wanted to go in to their website and see if my claim was there, but I can't find it. Their website only shows to contact them for certain pricing plans.

It did a good job. It told me everything I needed to know in order to get my job done. I really appreciate it. It was very professional, it did and answered all my questions. You gave me other questions, choices, and things like that. I think that he was still very professional in lighting.

David was very helpful in explaining the auto extended warranty process. Went over all parts covered and associated costs for the 5 year plan or 60,000 mile on a 87,000 mileage car I bought. Great! Hope to use services in the future. Overall, had great customer service. I would recommend to others.

My review of the presentation and explanation of American Dream Auto Protect's policy, price and options was outstanding. Also being a person in the commission-based realm I was appreciative of the rep Anthony M and his honesty to let me know he was commission-based as almost all other company's reps (not American Dream) tried to tell me they were not. Lying to a customer right out of the gate is not a way to instill confidence in a potential client. Anthony answered all of my questions and made the buying process simple and easy.

I needed advice to get an extended warranty as my car's expired. This company was given my details and called me. The knowledge of the company rep, Tom ** was impressive as he provided answers without hesitation. The product outshined all others I've investigated, on price and services provided. Some I'd never thought about but quickly saw the advantage in having. There was no pressure and none was needed as the company's extensive service sells itself. I challenge any other vehicle extended warranty plan to exceed American Dream in duration of coverage or price for the services provided.

Bought extended car warranty for my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Spoke with John from American Dream Auto Protect. Got me a great deal and price and mileage, took me under his wing and even helped me navigate my phone! Would recommend to anyone and family!!! Even hooked me up with payment plan!

I asked them about different details and they were very obligated to send it back to me and help me. I received the paperwork and a number to call if there is a breakdown once the policy kicks in. But they say they’d give you a discount on this and that, yet they want some money so they can lock you in.

American Dream Auto Protect done pretty good with me.

I have my Audi covered with American Dream and during the signup, they explained that I need 30 days and 500 miles for the coverage to begin. It’s supposed to cover everything but it doesn't cover oil changes and maintenance.

We have two vehicles on American Dream Auto and so far, so good.

The rep called me out of the blue and told me how much better American Dream is and sold me on it. He told me that he called the company I had before and canceled it. But I just got a letter from them saying that my account was being closed due to months of non-payment of the product. And I had paid them between $2,000 and $3,000. I just got the letter this past week so I'm trying to reach them. Also, the rep said what I was getting would be the platinum plan. But I just got the paperwork and it's not the platinum plan. It's the silver plan. So, I was gonna call American Dream and say I don't wanna be lied to like that and I want my money back. The rep was very pushy but I figured if everything he said was true, then I couldn't go wrong.

Alex was very professional and answered all my questions completely. Very satisfied with the service and pricing for my 2017 Titan. Looking to also purchase the policy on my Corvette. Will go through Alex again for sure. Was treated like a rock star and will spread the word!!

Kyle, from American Dream called me but since I had already signed up with another company, my interest was not significant. His persistence (without being overtly salesy) and candor complemented by his patience with all my questions and rebuttals made me reconsider (which when it comes to service decisions is rare for me). He was flexible and more importantly very well informed. I have signed up with him and the American Dream team on the basis of his service commitments and hopefully the next 5 years will be as pleasant an experience as this initial interaction.

I called ADAP along with 2 other companies. Adam called back and was very rude. After I asked him not to call again. 4 people at ADAP have called and won't stop. I have a warranty but they keep calling.

John ** was extremely professional and well-versed in American Dream's programs. Explained each program and recommended best for my needs. John was compassionate with my needs and budget. He was is generally aware of my concerns and worked with me in accomplishing my goal for extended warranty coverage. Overall great experience. Thumbs up and will to family and friends.

Kyle sold me a good policy and he treated me well. Price was very good and Platinum policy is what I was looking for. Kyle needs a raise. The car is in good shape now. Best company and recommend Kyle and the company to friends. He needs a dog next to him for that pat on the head. Very reputable company as I see it.

The rep kept coming down on the price. It took a while for American Dream Auto Protect to get the policy to me but when I called, they sent it immediately.

The rep at American Dream Auto Protect was very helpful. He offered a couple options upfront in terms of the plan I wanted that would best suit me and also the payment plan. We went back and forth a couple of times on different days, and he was very responsive. I will recommend them.

I got called in the middle of the day by American Dream Auto Protect, which I didn't like. That was pushy. I insisted that I was very busy. I needed to get my day going and then I would talk to them soon. But they kept insisting and kept me on the line. Besides that issue, they offered me a pretty good deal and they were willing to keep negotiating with me and do work for me. I like that. They offered me a bunch of free months and reduced rates. The purchasing process was speedy.

It was easy to sign up for American Dream Auto Protect, but we haven't received anything through the mail. I've talked twice to them, and as of yesterday, they would send us another pack because we went ahead and signed up for five years. But the rep knew what he was talking about and was very polite. American Dream covers all you need to have covered, and if you have a pre-owned car, it's a great idea to have one of those.

I was on the internet and American Dream called me. A day or so later, another guy called me back and we talked about the warranty. They were gonna send me something about the warranty process in writing. I was all signed up and they took the four grand. I was busy and I had to leave, and I didn't hear anything from them. I get a couple of hundred emails every day and sometimes I miss them, but I don't think I saw anything from them. The overall coverage was reasonable and the price seemed fair, but I should have gotten something in writing that showed about the warranty.

Excellent salesperson. Knowledgeable, professional, and definitely patient with someone (me) who can be difficult. Adam is extremely easy to work with and very competent in his position. Updated on 11/11/2023: The coverage is great, but the service sucks. My car broke down out of town and I took it to a mechanic and dropped it off because I didn't know what to do. The mechanic called American Dream Auto Protect and opened a claim for a thermostat issue. Meanwhile, I got a rental car, and I still need to follow up with the warranty company because I haven't received compensation for that yet. The problem was I couldn't reach anybody over the weekend. It was very difficult and I was very disappointed with that. American Dream Auto Protect needs to come up with some way to help clients on the weekends, such as having claims representatives available during that time. It's not hard.

I could not believe how easy it was to get help and a great price. Shopped at many Companies they look to be the best. Anthony ** is a great asset to know and for this company, stayed with me and explained in detail. (Mention if you are a Veteran) Anthony. Thank You.

American Dream Auto Protect is a scam. The fact is that so many phony reviews are on this platform is troubling. The public needs to be made aware that this company has no insurance carrier, they are self insured which violates many states laws and they have cooked up a well oiled scheme on Consumer Affairs posting phony reviews to deceive and rob innocent consumers. None of the 5 star reviews are real customers and every customer that had a real problem they denied every claim. We attempted to purchase a warranty from this company and after about 5-7 minutes on the phone it was clearly evident this was a scam. No real offices, fake addresses, employees with fake names, claims department, sales and customer service same department.

He took the time to listen to my particular needs and work out the best policy for as well as the best payment method.
