It was fairly easy to sign up with Endurance and get an extended warranty for my 2016 Honda Accord. I spoke with a representative who was very knowledgeable when I first signed up. Then I was trying to see exactly what my coverage covered as far the price of my car so I called back for additional questions. With the rep being able to look at my policy, I thought that she would be able to tell me something but she couldn't really give me any answers. But she was very nice.

I did some online research, and Endurance had some good reviews. I chose Endurance mainly because of the brand. Had they been someone that I did not recognize the name of it, I would have gone elsewhere. It was more affordable than I was expecting it to be. I got more coverage than I expected to get. They took time to answer questions that I had. If I wasn't clear about something, I asked questions, and they never acted like I was taking up too much of their time. I've had really good experience with them so far.
There were three different people that we talked to before the entire process was over with. They have the guys that handle one part of it, then they have the guys that do the closing part of it, and they have the guys to do the execution part of it. I understand business structure and how things are done. It didn't put me off. But it took three people to do one task.

When I said that I wanted to cancel, they tried to do everything for them to keep it. They finally figured that I was not budging and now, no one wants to be helpful. Everybody had a really nasty attitude. I was trying to complete the form to get the refund. I asked six times, but I wasn't getting a cancellation paper that they wanted me to fill out. When I was able to fill it out, they wanted me to fill it on PDF. It wasn't an option. It was a gray area to fill out for the final. So I had to type in the final meter reading. The reason we made the decision was because they put in the clause that if we're not satisfied with our first claim, then we'll get our full money back guarantee. We were not satisfied with our first claim and we paid the whole claim upfront. So then we are guaranteed our money back in full.

Endurance was one of the best that I saw online and signing up with them was pretty easy. I did it on my way to work. They asked me a few questions about the other company that I was looking at and the prices and then they worked out something. My experience with Endurance has been pleasant so far. An extended auto warranty is extremely valuable to have. I don't have to worry about the big expenses if something happens.

I spoke to Endurance a couple times before I did the purchase because I had a series of questions. They were able to send me a sample contract too, and talk about the different offerings they had, which was very helpful because I wanted to see specifically what was covered and not covered. They were able to answer a lot of questions and walked me through that. I looked at some other companies that had comparable coverage, but they were either more expensive, or one looked like wanted to charge me monthly.
I had to do a lot of probing to figure out the different options that were available for me, which was kind of difficult because they wanted to sell me on a certain plan, or coverage, or with monthly payments upfront. I had to explain my situation and my desire to pay it all upfront versus over 18 months or whatever the payment plan was. People should be aware to ask the salesman all the right questions.
I ended up going with some variant after I did a series of questions as far as mileage, number of years, coverage, payment plans, paying upfront versus paying on a monthly installment. It wasn't until I got all those different variables down that I was able to select. It was not like they provided those upfront and that was the most frustrating part about the whole experience. If I try to buy insurance for my car, I can get a quote online, view it, and see the details. This required me to have phone calls with people and they send me contracts. So that was kind of less than ideal. I didn't like the whole back and forth with the phone calls, sending me information.

I had tried using another auto warranty provider and was not satisfied with the service that they provided. I saw several advertisements for Endurance and decided to give them a call. Everything was great with their reps during the enrollment. They answered all my questions and dealt with my concerns. I had some concerns about possibly running into the same problem that I had with the other company with Endurance and they assured me that that would not happen. Also, they have a very good plan and as far as the payments are concerned, that was all well explained and everything went well that way, too.

My car had 86,000 miles on it and I feel that an extended warranty was a way for me to take on extra protection on my car. I looked on ConsumerAffairs and they said that Endurance is one of the companies that is good to deal with so I took a chance. Customer service handled my question very well. The only thing is that I told them I wasn't sure about the mileage. I thought my car had 96,000 miles on it but it didn't. When I went back, looked at the mileage of my car and it was 86,000 miles, I thought they were going to make some adjustments to the money. But from what I heard, they were not going to.
I really feel that if they insure my car for 86,000, it's not the same thing if they insure it for 96,000. That's the only part that I don't really appreciate because otherwise, what they should have told me should have been, "Before we give you this, why don't you go and confirm exactly what the mileage is?" But they didn't. Now they sent me a copy of my insurance policy with the right mileage. But I thought that the quote that they gave me was for 96,000 miles and not 86,000 miles. All in all, I will recommend Endurance because they are very knowledgeable about what they are talking about. They were very professional and nice. Whenever you try to call them, somebody answers you.

I am so upset on what a scam this is! I paid for the Supreme warranty for my 2011 Porsche Cayenne S two years ago. It has 61k miles on it. I took it in to get worked on for a rear door actuator; this was approved. But the repair shop told me my transfer case was also leaking. Endurance declined this claim because they said that another piece that interacts with it was bad. (A servo something or other) They agreed to fix the "servo" piece but said that this is what led to my transfer case leaking and that they would not fix it.
They went on to say that when the transfer case ($4500) completely fails, they will not cover it because the "servo" was bad, which led to transfer case leaking! There is NO WAY to know the "servo" was bad until your transfer case goes bad! So how is anyone to know to get the "servo" fixed!? Impossible! To make matters worse; the first time I called, they told me that they WOULD cover my case if I gave them $500 more to "upgrade" my policy because I have 21" rims; which Porsche supports. They never told me about this $500 fee when I bought my policy.
I still paid them the $500 to maintain my policy and get the approval on the transfer case. The next day after they took my money, they denied my claim and said they will only cover the "servo"; leaving me with a $4500 bill to fix the transfer case. This company is Crooked and I would never trust them nor should you give them a nickel of yours as they are thieves and liars and don't stand by their warranty and bait and switch with lies and deceit.

This was my first time dealing with car warranties and having to get quotes. Endurance did okay for me and I was pleased. But I didn't really like the fact that I had to have a deposit with them. The deposit was a little expensive too. But they worked with me on the schedule and payment of the deposit. They were able to break the deposit down into two installments which was good because I get paid monthly. I really needed the coverage so I had to do what I had to do.

I bought a pre-owned BMW and the warranty is up in about five months. This is the first time I've ever purchased a warranty but the parts for these BMWs and all the technology that's in the car is fairly expensive. So, it was worth the $109 a month to get coverage for repairs. When I was doing my research, I went online and I also got a recommendation from the mechanics that worked on my car here in Washington. They gave me the name of a company that only sells through dealers. So, I went online again and looked up best warranties. I looked at the reviews on Endurance and those were good. I googled "top five aftermarket insurance companies" and Endurance popped up as being the top-rated one. ConsumerAffairs recommended them. I had already talked to several different companies but Endurance made me feel comfortable enough to go with them. The rep seemed to be very knowledgeable about what he was selling and acted like he knew what he's talking about.
Endurance is really a pretty good warranty. I was looking for a longer term than what they were offering at first. They worked with me somewhat and gave me a longer term. It reduced my cost but it's per month. They charged me more in the end because it was a longer term. The Endurance customer service was really good. We probably spent an hour on the phone. They had the time. We went through the service and I asked a large number of questions. They were all answered very clearly and directly. They were very clean and crisp. Endurance seemed like the right thing so I compared that with another outfit. They were pretty quick to backstab and automatically said Endurance was not certified. I called Endurance back and talked to their representative. They said they are on the Better Business Bureau. They also said said there's like a one-stop-shop that does all their claims.
I got the dollar amount from the other company and they were less, but I was unsure and I didn't feel comfortable. One of the selling items of Endurance was the fact is that they said, "We'll go ahead and get you in." When your factory warranty runs out, it can get expensive fast when something goes wrong. My car's a ’16. It's still new, yet it's not.
Things are gonna start happening and I don't have five grand sitting there. It's easier for me to pay $100 a month, and then they pay the five grand when my transmission goes out. By working in dealerships, I've seen service contracts help a lot of people. The signing up experience is good. My total payment was like 180-something. I like how Endurance was able to take 100 one day. They worked with me so that I was able to get some type of coverage on my car. This is my first time experiencing getting a warranty on my car and I'm learning as I go along. I do see that the warranty kind of helps me. The lady told me major things, like usually what would cause a person to get a whole another car. I'm trying to cover a lot of different parts because I have children and I'm a single mother. She explained the coverage but I did have some type questions. They were trying to separate the difference of the last warranty company I had. With the last warranty company when I first got the car, the shop had my car for like a month and I was without transportation. That's one problem that I came across.
Endurance told me that they provide rental but I need a little bit more understanding of how much would I be paying when I take my car to the shop to get something done. How does the rental process go or how much would I have to come out of my pocket as far as the deduction. They told me something about $100 but they could have explained a little bit more. When I take my car to the shop for one thing and if they say it's something else, would I have to come out at another $100? Also, I haven’t received a packet. They probably emailed but they didn’t tell me that it was an email.

I looked at three companies and I went with Endurance because of the pricing, the length of the term and the ratings I’ve seen online. I told the rep my goal was to shop around that day and get a better pricing. She still gave me all the information and I told her I’d give her a call back in a couple of hours after I consolidated all of my information. I did give her a call back and she reached out to the manager at that time to see if I could get a better deal since I’m in the military. He was able to meet those needs so I called back and established the contract. I was explained thoroughly about the $100 deductible, how long it lasts and how early you can use it so I feel like it was very detailed and specific for everything that I needed. I would definitely tell others to consider it being that right now, that was the best plan for my vehicle. I guarantee they would probably be the best plan for their vehicle as well.

The purchasing process with Endurance was wonderful. I got the product that I wanted. But I had to disable the account. There's this prerequisite that you have to do like 1,000 miles within the first 31 days of signing up. During covid and working remotely from home, I'm not using the car at all much. I was telling them I needed another product so that I could stay with Endurance, but for lower mileage parameters. The second product was good but it wasn't the same and they were going to charge me the same amount per month. I got less service for the same amount that I would have got for the services I wanted.
There was a long wait for answers and no call back from one of the account reps. The first person I always spoke to said they couldn't do it. I called it about three times and each time it happens, they couldn't help me. They have to send me over to an account rep and that took a long time. I'm on the phones all day too so I was trying to do this during my 15 minute break or my half an hour lunch. It was time-consuming. The first person who picked up should have been able to disable my account without all the sales rigmarole that I was getting. I've lost a little bit of confidence in the company.

I didn't feel like there was a big hard-sell approach, which I've seen before with warranty policies. Also, the price was right. They were willing to lower their deposit price because I wasn't sure at first whether I could afford it and they followed up with that, which gave me confidence. The system was also very well explained to me. The rep I worked with seemed to be fairly knowledgeable and straightforward about the plan.

I let a employee talk me into dropping dealership warranty. Listen to me not even two months later I needed Endurance they do not open until 9am. They were will to pay a small amount that dealership was charging. Well everyone knows the dealerships prices are higher. So, they left me a balance and the price they were will to cover I would have saved $38 keep in mind the deductible $100 and coming out of pocket $300. So, they couldn't even tell me what shop I could go to so, I wouldn't have this problem in future. I just paid the full amount to get my car out. I'm so, glad GM covered a couple of the other parts. That week still under Warranty.
I canceled my policy had paid well 18 months into it sat $77 a month and this was their Platinum Coverage. They are sending me $500 a refund of $500. Keep in mind I never used their service. Please if you're disabled and working part time do not fall for this company. It's not a scam. It's just not what I was looking for. I have went into my Christmas money that I've sacrificed to have for my grandchildren and it's been used to get my car out of the shop. And then, I also looked over a couple of other companies who were not listed in the top 10. Some people have said stay clear of certain other companies who do the same thing that Endurance does. And then the guy who talked to me made sense. It seemed like he tried to give me a fair deal on the insurance. So, that's what made it break down to - just put the money down and then paying the first installment.
Right now I’m just on a waiting period to get anything done, because I gotta do my 30 days or 1,000 miles. I thought it was 1 to 30 days or 1,000 miles. Now it's 30 days plus 1,000. I have two cars. The one that I have the Endurance policy for is a 2012 BMW. It has very low mileage, under 60,000 miles because I don't drive it all year round. But it's far out of warranty and I realize it’s starting to get to the point now where something major could go wrong with it possibly. That would be quite an expensive fix for an older car so that's what led me to the warranty. I went online and got the names of the different warranty companies that are available out there. I read reviews from various agencies to see what was the buzz in terms of customer satisfaction, customer service, paying out a claim, value for the cost of the service contract, and so forth.
I ended up choosing Endurance. One of the reasons I did is because that company does not have a middleman. They don't contract out to other services. I like the fact that I'm dealing with essentially one entity. I've also seen other people’s reviews not just from ConsumerAffairs. Everyone’s experience could be different but when you see enough people that say the same thing, the likelihood of that is probably true for the most part.
I made two calls. During the initial call, I spoke to a representative with whom I had problems. She was not helpful at all and she was extremely rude. She spoke over me and was condescending. I terminated that call prematurely. But after all the information I had gotten about the company, I decided that she may have been an aberration. Not only that, her supervisor needed to be aware of how she was presenting herself to potential customers.
I called back, asked for a supervisor, and did indeed speak to one and explained my concerns to him. He was very professional, very pleasant, and very knowledgeable. The call was recorded so he was able to listen to the call, assuring me that that individual will now receive further training. Then he proceeded to explain to me what the company was all about, what they had to offer, etc. He also gave me a discount on the retail price. At that point, I was pleased and decided to purchase a service contract.

The reps were very helpful, friendly and professional. Their upselling skills is at an all-time high 'cause they got me to pay that day, and I don't usually pay stuff. However, my aunt had Endurance and she got a lot of runaround. Nobody would fix her car. She was paying 200 and some a month to try to get the Endurance. It was a waste of time.
With all the rumors that people say, I asked around first. I asked a lot of friends and even car companies, and a lot of people were telling me, "No." That's when I chose to try to close the account. A lot of car lots and car shops, including Firestone, don't wanna do business with warranty companies. It would be a hassle trying to get your car fixed when a lot of people don't accept the warranty, so it'd be a waste of money. I think the Endurance Warranty company is legit and they offer good services. They can help people, but they should get their own mechanic shop and have their warranty that way. That way, people don't have a hassle trying to get their car fixed. If they got their own mechanics that'll fix the car for real, then they won't have a lot of bad reviews like that.

You cannot use plan for 30 days or 1k but it's 30 days only wait mileage is no matter unless 1k not reached.
WILLIAM ** repeatedly told me the suspension was fully covered that secure plus was the 2nd best plan and covered everything except one additional item for a wrap around that was nothing extra per se. That my plan even covered window regulators, water pumps, sway bars, and everything including oceanfront property in Arizona. That this company would repair everything not normal wear and tear...Meaning brake pads, wipers, etc were only thing not in my plan... Lies. All lies. Nothing is covered and not even what is on the list sent after...
Do not purchase. I am mechanic and know cars well... I would never of purchased this plan from them knowing truth... They will say anything and when you need a repair you will be sorry you purchased plan from them. They are crooks and even say Audi didn't contact them about a repair... Audi a mutibillion dollar quality car company didn't call for repair... Don't listen to their lies, because I'm stuck now repairing it on my own thinking I would be covered and out double money... They also claim car value is far below Kelley Blue Book and use that if your repairs are over this made up amount by endurance. They don't have to cover your claim..
The salesman lies, and when they go back to review the recorded lines they use only the very last which you were told your plan was covering all these things and reality they tell you a wrong plan name... Suspension is not even available. They tell me now for my Audi has a extended plan... People I read my window sales build sheet to the man, yes the one shows miles per gallon etc... It's specific as I wanted to be specific and they lied and said it was covered fully... It's not. They will tell you everything you want to hear but not what you really are buying.
I have no reason to lie, I was thinking I had a great deal and was secure in my purchase...That what a fantastic company... WRONG. THEY ARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. Everything was awesome. Making the payment was very easy. That day, I put the downpayment down then I set up the online auto draft. Everything seemed fairly simple. I had a little trouble logging onto the website at first but maybe it was something on my end. The payment is coming into effect right now. I was sent a letter about my old truck that I don't even own anymore. The finance company owns it. I thought it was something on this policy but I haven't gotten anything on paper other than that.

I wanted to have something to cover my daughter's car because of its age and the issues that we know the car has. We went with Endurance for their pricing and coverage. Dealing with their rep was quick and easy. It took probably about 15 minutes. They explained the coverage extremely well. I'd tell a friend or a family member to definitely look into Endurance and sign up. It is extremely valuable, especially if you have a used car and need to get it serviced. If you have car payments, this is a good way to make sure that you're not spending a whole lot of money out of pocket to fix your car.

A lady was trying to tell me about their insurance but she wanted $400 upfront for three weeks. I went online and Endurance was the only one that called me back. The rep was very nice. She gave me a great deal. She said it was 200 something to start then $100 each month which was what I was looking for ‘cause I didn’t have all the money. I said, “I can give you 100 right now.” She said, “Okay. Then in two weeks, you can give me the rest.” She was wonderful. I'm very happy with Endurance. I'm happy that I have that type of warranty on the car. Nowadays with the pandemic and work being so low, you can't come out with $1,000 out of pocket if the car breaks down. This thing is really good for me.

I couldn’t believe it. I went with them again recently and everything was really simple. I asked the rep to check my record back there and she said maybe Peace of Mind got more than one branch, but she said she couldn't find it. Other than that, they were nice and explained stuff to us. Everything is great so far but I haven’t to received the book to tell me what's under warranty and what’s not under warranty. Still, if I have any problem, I'll just give them a call.

I went to my cell phone and googled for the best-known warranty that was out there. Endurance came up, which I already knew that it probably would. I read the information on it and I was very happy when the rep called me. He called me right away and he explained the policy and how it works. My questions were answered immediately. I signed up and got my coverage. It went well. They were very upfront and busy getting me taken care of. I was very pleased with my experience with that. I had Members, which was through my bank. It gave the same type of coverage, which is great.
I have heard nightmares about CarShield. I even had a girl that worked at the dealership who said, “Don't ever use them.” because she has experience with who does what. CarShield was number five on the list when I was looking at it, so I said, “Well, I've made the right choice.” I felt at peace knowing that I had Endurance. I haven't had to use it yet, but at least I know it's going to function the same way my other one did. I'm not looking forward to trouble, but I'm relieved that I have something already in line. Being by myself, I'd rather have peace of mind.

My experience with Endurance went pretty smoothly although there was a little bit of confusion on the last day when we went to sign up and do the payment. They wanted to change the terms on me and it was explained to me that the guy that did my claim was new. I explained to them that we were on a recorded line and those numbers were never mentioned. That was a hiccup but I schooled them on that right away.
Also, I was told I was going to get some coupons for Amazon because I paid for the whole thing upfront. I thought that was awesome. I was good with just taking the cash off but the coupon was equal. They said we had to do the coupons because I had to deal with Amazon. That made my policy even a better deal. But you have to actually get the coupons for the good deal to be there. I was told that normally, people make payments so I would get one coupon on the front end and another coupon on the back end. The guy that was green said that I would get both coupons on the front end. He said I would get one right away then I would get one three months later. But I haven't received any. That's a small snafu.
The green guy told me the cost for a month. I said, “No, hold on. I don't want to do that. I'm looking to pay the whole thing off, and is that a discount?” He didn't know and he would have to get ahold of somebody else. He would call me back the next day. I have three of these, “I'll get back with you, call you back tomorrow,” because the guy was green. I get that he was new at a job but I really needed and wanted cash. Also, they never explained how the payment was going to be made. They just said I would get a credit.
One thing that I liked about Endurance was they offered a warranty through my bank at work. My credit union is right at the end of the parking lot and that's really handy to use. But they didn't even make the top 20. They wanted to have a loan on the vehicle but I didn't really want to pay interest on a vehicle just to have a warranty. I did the Consumer Reports and Endurance rated the highest. I didn't have to have a loan and that was one of the reasons I went with Endurance. I read through my policy and I have to have a log of all my maintenance and all my stuff and I kind of get that. By the time I bought the warranty, everything all-in was 47,000 bucks. I’m like, “Is this for their benefit to not pay for something because I should have done something better the way they wanted it done?”
It's just I had a little confusion on the sign-up and I haven't gotten my promised benefit yet. I had confusion about getting a copy of the policy. It went through a couple of different people. They kept wanting me to download it off their site but I wanted them to mail me a paper copy so I could read it. Why would I want to read a warranty on my cell phone? That basically demands that you have a computer and a printer at home, which I do. Finally, I got ahold of a guy who gave me a link and who would actually work on the printer. The third guy was a smart one and knew exactly what the issue was. He was going, “I don't know why the first two people did that, but this is the easy way to do it.” He finally mailed a copy to me. But that was a one-two-three process to get a copy of the policy.

My warranty was up. I bought Endurance from a used car dealership because of the price which was in my range. There was also the year of the warranty. I'm gonna call Endurance to see if they could send that to me. I have a new phone with the same number and email address.
I value having a protection plan a lot because you never know what's going to happen with your vehicle. Things go out and the lights and things start coming on. Paying out of pocket is really expensive and I don't want to do that, especially right now when we don't have a lot of money. Due to the pandemic, we don't work a lot of days and a lot of hours.

I was really pleased with all that it covers. Everything that the rep explained to me that I was going to get is exactly what I got on my contract.
He told me how much I was going to have to pay as a downpayment and he let me split. Then, my first payment doesn't start until this month on the 22nd. I didn’t have any issue making the payment and they take my monthly directly out of my checking account so I don't have to worry about it. We just purchased a new-to-us used vehicle. It has a bunch of electronics on it. So we wanted a warranty that would cover electronics because the one that the dealership offered did not cover the electronics. So I shopped around and was looking for something. Anything online, especially for a warranty or some kind of insurance, can be shady. I understand that everybody is in business to make money. But when it comes to insurance and warranty, you're making money coming in and you're paying money going out. Obviously, you want to make more coming in than you're paying out. With it being an online type of deal, people could actually set up a big company that just takes money and then fades away, or just deny a bunch of claims to keep the cost down. So I am fairly skeptical.
The warranty from Endurance that I was looking at came with the electronic package attached. When they got me set up, they ended up on the login screen. It showed that it was a diamond exclusionary package. If I look at their website, there is no diamond exclusionary package. So you can't compare what you've bought to what's out there because what I've bought didn't exist to be able to reference it. I was also told that I was going to get coupons or vouchers for restaurants or shopping. I've been told that twice. I still haven't gotten that.
When I called back because of my concern with this diamond exclusionary ghost policy that I couldn't find anywhere and the fact that I still, to this day, couldn't log in to the app, things started looking kind of shady for me. The lady that I talked to explained that my policy was basically sold under another company. But it's subcontracted, which I'm not really happy about because I've looked at the reviews of this other company and they're not really great. So I had the intention of calling back because I might be cancelling this policy altogether. It's also annoying to me that I can cancel my policy in the first 30 days but I can't make a claim until after 30 days. So I have no way of knowing whether anyone in my local area will accept this policy until after I'm past the cancellation date.
I went to get a key fob coded and I talked to the service manager and asked him about Endurance. But he said that they would not know whether or not they accepted it until the first time I'd bring the vehicle in for any work. Only then we would find out. That stinks for me because if I pay for it for six months and then something breaks down and I bring it in for warranty and they don't accept it because of the bad history of it being difficult to get claims paid, then I have to go to another car shop.

I decided to keep his vehicle and not to trade it in for one of those where you rent them and every year, you turn them back in. I decided to just go ahead and pay it off. He’s not around, so whenever things come up, like whenever I wanted to get my inspection done, I took it to the dealership. And they charge $3,000 because there was a lot of stuff they needed to do. I can’t spend that much money every time I go. The labor was more than anything. My husband would do the labor, and the parts wouldn’t cost that much. So I thought, “Well, since he’s gone, I need something else.”
I was looking at the TV and I saw the commercial. I was comparing either Endurance or the other one, and I got on my phone and they said Endurance was better. So, I called them up. They were very nice and polite, explained everything to me, and got signed up. This is the first time I had ever purchased anything like this.
