Herbalife

Frances of Lakeland, FL November 15, 2009

BestBuy Diet dba Buyers Best Bet LLC is an internet marketer of one of Herbalife's products known as "Total Control". I felt confident buying into the system ordering this product online because of Herbalife's known reputation. However, after receiving this product I decided to cancel the order before others would arrive. I never accomplished getting in contact with these people! They took every available means to block my attempts to make contact with them! How convenient of them, sic !! So within two weeks, I became aware that a debit was deducted from my bank of 43.95. Again, made numerous attempts to try and get my 43.95 credited.

I never received any other products from them. Consequently all my attempts of trying to reach these people failed. I then decided to write a letter to which a response was made leaving me a message on my phone saying they were refusing to credit me because I was well aware of their system and if I had any more concerns to contact bestbudydiet which I learned early on this was without a doubt bogus!! In fact, their customer support website is bogus and their customer service telephone # is bogus! This truly does not sound like a legitimate business when they block every means of communication from you. They get your money fraudulently and then they block their phones and website. How convenient of them wouldnt you say? So how am I as a customer have the opportunity to cancel when they prevent you from doing so?

While drinking my shake, I have found small pieces of white plastic shavings, in my drink. As I use nutritional mix, and protein mix, I don't know which container it is from.

I ran into Hervbalife when I was in my 20's (over 30 years ago). So I decided to check into it and sell it. I recieved my starter kit for 101.00. I accidently hit onto your web site and started educating myself on the problems of Herbalife. I do believe your testomonials. Their CD's show people claiming how successful they are and they have acne, blood shot eyes, and alot of make up.

Their web site is very hard to navigate. So, I shared this info. with them and got no response. I was very alarmed with the lead amounts in their products since I have 4 grown daughters. I think I'm lucky to get out now.

I began investigating Herbalife products after receiving reports of liver injuries. As it turns out, Herbalife's products are loaded with ingredients known to cause liver damage including lead. Herbalife admits that it does not trest its products for safety and given the reports that have been published, the proof, as they say is in the pudding. If you google Herbal-lead.com you can read all about it.

I signed up with Herbalife and was provided TouchFon service to act as an answering service for my business. I realized several days later that I had made a big mistake getting involved with Herbalife. Unlike many other stories I've read, I actually got my money back within a few days. Except...I was getting billed for TouchFon. I called and cancelled but it showed up on my credit report as a 35 debt. I called to have it removed and after several calls and conversations, the debt was cleared and I was sent a payoff letter via fax. Fast forward 5 years. I'm now seeing TouchFon on my credit report showing a 37 unpaid debt. They of course show no record that I ever paid and conveniently have no record that they wiped it several years ago.

Unfortunately, I gave the payoff letter to the lending agent when I bought my house and didn't keep a copy. To just get this behind me, I called the collections company that represents TouchFon and they said I now owe 53 dollars and some change>INTEREST! I refused to pay the interest and when they finally told me they would waive it, I was so fed up I told them I wouldn't pay anything. I am waiting for a call from Marva at TouchFon and will keep calling them every hour, every day until they clear this charge.

First instance of this showing up on my credit report not only dropped my score, but it was a requirement to resolve the debt in order to get a house. Now I'm buying another house and it must be resolved once again (as if resolving it once wasn't enough).

In early September, my husband and I received our training package in the mail and decided to give this a try. Lorri seemed to have such a great story but lacked knowledge in many areas regarding the company. We decided to cancel and get our 200 back. This took almost a month and many phone calls to Lorri before she finally took action. We were no longer a priority. After sending back the dvd training package we thought all was over. On December 24th we received a random charge in Lorri Haven's name on our credit card. I tried to call her everyday and left messages.

I finally caught her and she said that corporate charged us for an unreturned package. Initially we were told that they would charge us 14 days after not receiving the package.....not almost 4 months later!!! She said that she was just being nice and I told her that a phone call would have been nice at the end of the 14 days to let me know that they had not received it. She continued to argue with me and give excuses but what scares me is that now I have no way to track the package down and her company has been storing my credit card information. Needless to say, I've disputed the charge and cancelled my credit card!! BEWARE!!!!!!

I signed up with Herbalife becuase I was told by the seller that the product was organic. I purchased thousands of dollars of products. Then it took me months to figure out and get the information from the distributor that the products were not orgainic...how funny since it was told to me to seal the deal.

They said they didn't know what organic meant. I say that Herbalife should be stating that before you order thousands of dollars of stuff. they have so many disclosers that they are trying to cover their butts...they need to take responsibilty
