Monday 6/29/2026. I have to say that our situation has been rough, having to move 2 times in 6 months because of electrical issues and bugs bigger than my dog, but Spectrum has been here to make sure we have our internet connection. A technician came out yesterday and had everything going, but I turned off a switch in the living room and suddenly the TV went off, so I called Spectrum, and they came right out.

They spent about an hour, even had to climb the pole...but got everything back up and running. Even finding 2 outlets that are not safe... and pointed it out so we can tell the landlord. They were friendly and knew what day we're doing. They had to move the modem and cable boxes but they did it, and we have our internet connection back, and I know that they are there if we need them. I am very pleased with the service and friendly manner, even said hi to our dog, Ricky Lee. 😀 Thank you, Spectrum, for the 6 years of great service. 😀

I have been a Spectrum user for years and have witnessed this company get better and better with time; normally it’s the other way around. I have been working remotely for 6 years, and Spectrum internet has been very reliable and fast. I have had minimal issues throughout the years, and wouldn’t trust any other provider to deliver the internet that I rely on for work. I keep Verizon mobile hotspot for plan b access, but have very rarely had to use it for work. The professionalism and expertise of their agents is superb and you can tell that they put a lot into their customer service training. I highly recommend Spectrum for your internet needs.

An associate named Ty ** in Columbus Ga, on Macon Road. He was very helpful and hands-on. I was on the phone with a representative who was very unprofessional for a long time. Ty handled the situation with professionalism. I suffer from PTSD and was very irritated, but Ty knew how to handle the situation. Another customer commented on my situation, as did others. Ty helped us all. I would recommend Macon Road Spectrum to everyone I meet.

I’ve been paying $90 a month for just Wi-Fi in my second home for the security cameras. Apparently, they’ve been overcharging me for years, when I canceled they offered me the same service for $20 a month and informed me that I have another month that I have to pay them for after I canceled the service. Sick and tired of getting ripped off by these companies. They should offer their promos to existing customers as well instead of just new customer. If they took better care of their customers in the first place, they wouldn’t leave instead they ravage their wallets. Screw Spectrum.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Spectrum consistently raises prices without any notice or explanation, making them significantly more expensive than almost every other internet provider in the area. When you first sign up, they are all smiles and warm welcomes. But the second you face an issue—especially regarding unfair billing—their customer service completely vanishes. Nobody is willing to help, and you just get passed around.

To top it all off, when I finally had enough and cancelled my service, the agent conveniently failed to mention that they charge you for the full billing cycle regardless of when you cancel. No pro-rated final bill, no transparency, just one last cash grab on the way out. Unreliable pricing, hidden termination practices, and terrible customer support. Save yourself the headache and go with literally any other provider.

Sales person guaranteed me Spectrum would save me at least $1000 in a year, said when I got my final bill to upload to Spectrum. I did everything like instructed, during wait period Wi-Fi is horrible it’s spotty, clicks on and off, I have to rest a lot. Was informed I would have to pay an extra $10 a month for each Wi-Fi extender, I explained I didn’t need an extender with AT&T but was told no other way to fix it.

Tonight I get a call from Spectrum saying I don’t qualify for the guarantee because I uploaded my information 2 days past the 60 days I had to upload. Told her I spoke to her and she wanted more information that was not my fault the system would not take all forms. It’s all a scam. Wish I had read these comments before. I am currently trying to get my pricing back with Verizon and AT&T. Also since they added their hardware my power bill has went up. It’s the ONLY thing that has changed with the power, maybe because it’s running 2 boxes? Advise just don’t fool with Spectrum. Also you get tons of calls trying to sell you things.

I cancelled my service and returned the equipment on July 20th, they sent me a bill that runs through August 5th. So basically charging me for half a month that I am not receiving service. I messaged them online to ask them about it and they said if I didn't pay the full bill they would send me to collections. I was with them for 18 years and every year my bill would go up. Worst part is, their service was spotty and would go out randomly even with no storms in the area. I work from home and need my internet for work. I was with this company for 18 years because there weren't any other options in my area and their customer service is terrible too. Now I have better options, and I am leaving them.

Called because a Spectrum employee came to our home uninvited and sat in his truck on the property for 10 minutes we had to go out to him. He claimed ** person ordered service, we told him they didn't reside and no order was made for SPECTRUM.!) minutes he sat at the end of the property after that-still on the property. We contacted SPECTRUM- their response was, YES ** ordered service. Then the round the world 3.5 hour abuses and yelling (on both ends) began, and it went like this: What's YOUR account, What's your name, oh, you had service in another state so we don't recognize your current MOBILE account at that address- ** can order there. Me: What? No the property owner doesn't want your services SPECTRUM.

Round the world with Another agent, what's your passcode, what addresses have you had SPECTRUM, ** can order there, ME: no, no they cannot. End of 3.5 hour transfers and arguments about billing address- guy says HAHAHA you're LUCKY we didn't just trespass unhook your internet and install SPECTRUM hahahahaha. We do that hahah No, that isn't legal, nor is getting mail at an address- where you don't reside. I went to the Sheriff and will file forms no company can use false paperwork to change services. Monday rolls around and ** gets a welcome to SPECTRUM package, furious I call and they say, ** had service installed on Saturday (did I mention we had to walk over to the service guy and make him leave? OH, and July 16th I received a bill for 2.20$$ to change my address sent where ** fraudulently ordered service?

SO, I canceled all business with SPECTRUM, the company that asks you to share your services with strangers adding them to your bill or rolling over services which is nuts, basically sharing your credit history and putting you linked to them for how long? They say SPECTRUM is credible but I don't feel confident in that conclusion. 1. Changing your service without the property owners consent can't be legal, but is "a SPECTRUM thing 'we' do" 2. When you call about an order by a stranger to your address- whether you have service with SPECTRUM is unimportant and looking up Your information and acquiring your pass code is unimportant, unnecessary and opens your private information in a careless manner.

      3. It is enough to call and inform the co. that ** isn't legally permitted to open any accounts /add or end any utilities at that address- that is a short conversation and legitimate enough.Spectrum's nose in an established account, pass codes, transfers to TX NY and otherwise were reckless and an abuse of my trust it was maddening and I haven't even started with what happened on Monday. No more using SPECTRUM for me, account is closed, I support any and all who have even a little round the planet transfers and run around's to do the same.

Spectrum charges for a billing cycle whether you use their service or not and they think it's ok to make people pay for a service they are not providing. You don't get charged for what you actually use. If you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle, they will not prorate. This is theft.
