Have a question for CARFAX, the online company that provides vehicle history information?
Don't bother picking up the phone.
CARFAX only answers customer service questions by e-mail. You can find a link on the company's Web site: www.carfax.com.
CARFAX says its representatives are online from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (EST) Monday-Friday, and will answer consumers' e-mails within eight business hours.
Consumers who want to correct inaccurate CARFAX reports about their vehicles must submit a form located at this link: www.carfax.com/cfm/consumerdcf.cfm. Those completed forms -- and any supporting data -- can be faxed to CARFAX at 866-728-6455
