My Bosch Clothes Washer has a mold and mildew problem sililar to the Maytag Neptune. No Help from Bosch. Nasty persistant mold and mildew problem on the door gasket. Is this a health hazard?

Adam of Gold Coast, QLD August 21, 2004

Adam of Gold Coast QLD, Australia (08/21/04)
My mum who has M.S. and is in a wheel chair had just turned on the oven to pre heat for her dinner. She placed her food in the oven and closed the door, a few seconds after the door was closed it just exploded, whent off like a shot gun spraying shards of (saftey glass) and tiny splinters of glass in a good 5 to 8 meter radius from the oven. Now since my mum is in a wheel chair she had the perfect height to take full blast of exploding glass.

Now just to say the least I am not happy and would like some answers. I have read other stories in shock to see this is going on around the world. Now how would they like it if I got a oven sat it in front of there face and blew it up. Might be a different story. I have saved the glass fragments hoping some one can test the glass properties for faults.I intend to contact local TV, Radio and consumer affairs to get more attention to this issue. What go's around comes around

Damage that resulted from the blast was a lot off glass impregnated into my mums upper legs that were exposed lucky she was looking down at the time Extreme shock to a lady who finds great difficulty just getting to the oven let alone being on her own blasted with glass and could not move for fear of the large tyres puncturing from the glass splintered on the floor. Her new electric wheel chair would have overbalanced landing her on the floor. Also dam lucky that she had the portable phone on her after talking to a friend.
